Good morning, this is Sentinel's RV slash GCR Daily Brief. Your daily read on the Dinar, the Dong, and the whole GCR. I'm Truman Vale. Grab your coffee, we've got a lot to cover. So yesterday we were all watching for july tenth, today, as the day Iraq's Asakuda Customs System was supposed to go live. Well, it's july tenth, we're here. And the question everybody's asking this morning is, did it actually happen and what does it mean? Let's walk through what we know, what we're hearing, and where the community's hope has moved to now. First, the Asikuta story. The chatter this morning is that the system did in fact begin rolling out today across Iraqi borders. The mandatory electronic customs declarations are kicking in, the old loopholes are closing, and Iraq is moving toward the kind of automated trade infrastructure that typically requires a functioning, internationally recognized exchange rate. That's real progress. Now here's where we stay grounded. The system going live today does not automatically mean the rate changes today. The thinking is that this sets the stage that once Assakuta is operational, Iraq is ready to do transparent business with the rest of the world, and a real rate isn't far behind. Some of the chatters suggest we could see a rate adjustment over the weekend when the Arab Forex markets open Sunday night, with an official announcement sometime next week. One thread pins Wednesday fifteenth as a possible UN publication date for the reinstated Dinar rate. That's the hope. Take it with a grain of salt, we've heard next week a lot. But it's what people are watching now, and it's rooted in something real that happened today. Now let's talk bonds. The chatter yesterday was that bondholders would receive one percent of their payout today, starting in Asia and rolling west. So far this morning, I'm not seeing broad confirmation that it happened. That doesn't mean it didn't. It means it's early, and if it did, it may not be public yet. We'll know more as the day goes on. For now, we're in wait and see mode, and we're not treating it as confirmed. Alright, Dinar, let's go deeper. Asakuta is live or beginning to be. What's the actual prediction about the rate? The claim making the rounds is that after today the Iraqi market rate gets disrupted. The parallel markets, the black market and the official market, start to converge slowly through supply and demand. They move toward one to one with the dollar, then the currency enters afloat, and when it hits three dollars twenty two cents, that's the reinstatement. If it goes past three hundred twenty two, it becomes a full revaluation. That's the story. It's detailed, it sounds plausible, and it's exciting. I'll be honest, three hundred twenty two is a beautiful number, it's also the kind of number that makes people want to act, and that's exactly why I'm asking you to hold it loosely. We've been hearing confident rate predictions for years. Until it's published by the CBI, tradable on Forex, and you can walk into a bank and exchange at that rate, it's a claim, not a fact. We watch it, we hope for it, but we don't bet the farm on it. And look, I want to be really clear. Everything we're talking about this morning, A Sakuta going live, the rate convergence theory, the bond rumors, the weekend timing. All of it is a combination of real events, educated guesses, and wishful thinking. Some of it will turn out true, some won't. Historically, a lot of the timing calls in this space haven't panned out. So please take all of this with a grain of salt. Stay informed, stay ready, but don't make a financial decision or rearrange your life, because of what you heard here or anywhere else. We're here to help you stay smart. Not to give you certainty that none of us actually have. Now the timing picture. The chatter this morning is that if we don't see notification by end of day, the window shifts to this weekend, with notifications possibly coming Saturday or Sunday, and exchanges starting early next week, maybe Monday or Tuesday. Another thread suggests new rates could post on Forex Sunday night, when Arab markets open and be visible Monday morning. There's also the bigger picture view that says August makes more sense than July, because Iraq's Prime Minister is heading to Washington mid month. The IMF likes to see stability before they bless something this big, and the cabinet is still getting finalized. Both timelines are out there. Both are grounded in real information. And both could be right, wrong, or somewhere in between. If you're planning your weekend around a notification, I wouldn't. But if you're staying ready and checking your phone more than usual, I get it, I am too. Here's what I'm doing. I've got the app open pretty much all day. Everything we just talked about, the ASICUDA launch, the rate theory, the bond chatter, the weekend timing, it's in there the second it drops. I'm not waiting for tomorrow's show. I'm not checking six different feeds. And here's the piece that's a game changer. I've got VIP level alerts turned on for the Dinar and the voices I trust, and I've muted the rest. So when something genuinely significant lands, a CBI announcement, a confirmed rate change, a credible call, I get a ping on my phone instantly, and I can tune out all the noise in between. VIP membership usually gives you that edge, and right now it's completely free. If you've been thinking about grabbing it, do it while it costs you nothing. Because it won't stay free forever. And this is the exact window where having that edge matters. It's all at gcrsentinel.com. Free download, free VIP, and you're in control. I built my whole morning around it, and it works. Quick touch on the Dong. Still quiet on Vietnam Specific News, but the broader reset chatter is alive. The thinking is that when the Dinar moves, the Dong moves with it as part of the basket. If you're holding Dong, you're watching the same weekend and Monday window as everybody else. Zim, same story. Part of the reset conversation. No country specific news out of Zimbabwe. And it moves when everything else does. So here's where we are. Today was supposed to be Iraq's big day, and in some ways it was Asakuda. Appears to have actually launched, which is a real tangible step forward. That's not nothing. But we didn't wake up to a new rate this morning, we didn't see bond payouts flooding the community, and we're not holding appointment letters. What we have is a story that's still unfolding, a timeline that keeps shifting forward, and a community hoping this weekend or early next week is finally it. Maybe it is. Maybe it's August, maybe it's something none of us are expecting. The only thing I know for sure is that we're all in this together. And the smartest thing we can do is stay informed, stay grounded, and not lose our heads over any single piece of it. So what are we actually watching this weekend? We're watching to see if notifications start rolling out Saturday or Sunday. We're watching to see if bondholders get the payout they've been hearing about. We're watching the Arab Forex markets when they open Sunday night, to see if new rates appear Monday morning. And we're watching to see if Iraq makes any official announcements early next week, especially around the fifteenth, when the Prime Minister might be in Washington. I'm not predicting any of it, I'm just telling you where the community's attention is and what the hopeful threads are right now. I know you've been waiting a long time. I've been refreshing the same CBI page for years. We're all tired, we're all hopeful, and we all just want to know. But we don't know yet, and that's okay. We stay ready, we stay smart, we take care of each other, and we show up here every morning to make sure nobody's flying blind. Alright, that's the brief for Friday, july tenth. If you want all of this intel the second it breaks, and I mean the second, not waiting until Monday's show, grab the free app at gcrsentinel.com. Free download, VIP is free right now, custom notifications so you only see what you care about, and it's all on your phone 24 7. It's coming to the app stores soon, but for now, the website is the place, and VIP member QA is coming soon. Send in your questions and I'll answer them right here. Have a great weekend. Stay hopeful, stay grounded, and I'll see you Monday morning.
