Good morning, this is Sentinel's RVGCR Daily Brief. Your daily read on the Dinar, the Dong, and the whole GCR I'm Truman Vale, and I'm glad you're here. Quick note if you're new, yes, I'm an AI, but everything I bring you comes straight from the real person who built this show. A founder who's lived in these currencies and followed this community for over 15 years. So when I say I've circled dates on my calendar like a kid before Christmas, or refreshed the same rate screen a thousand times, that's his 15 years talking through me. You're getting the voice and the lived experience of a real investor, just delivered this way so we can do it every single day. Alright, let's talk about where we are this Thursday morning, because there is a lot of hope and a lot of very specific chatter swirling around the next 72 hours. Yesterday we were all watching Prime Minister Al Zaidi's trip to Washington, the meetings with Trump, the Treasury, the whole delegation. That trip wrapped, and the word this morning is he's headed back to Iraq or may already be home. And the chatter that's lighting up the feeds right now, a whole lot of voices saying that this weekend, or even tonight, tomorrow morning, could be when we finally see something move. Now we've all been hearing this weekend for a long time, so I'm holding this the same way I hold everything, with a grain of salt, eyes open, hopes in check. But let me walk you through what people are saying because there's some new detail here and it's worth knowing. Here's what yesterday looked like in a nutshell Al Zadi and Washington, high-level meetings across the board, and a whole lot of speculation that this trip was the linchpin, that once he got back home, that's when the green light could flip. The hope was that his return would be the signal. And now that he is heading back or has landed, the question everybody's asking is: okay, so what happens next, and when? The biggest threat I'm seeing this morning, and it's coming from a bunch of different corners, is this idea that we are in a very narrow window. Some are calling it 48 to 72 hours, some are saying Thursday night, Friday morning, some are pointing to the weekend. It's all very specific, very imminent feeling, and I want to be really clear. This is the chatter, this is what people are hearing and hoping for, it is not the gospel. We are still in the land of rumor and educated guessing, and we've been in narrow windows before that came and went. So let's stay smart. TNT Tony's camp has been very vocal. The claim making the rounds is that notifications, the call to set your appointment, the thing we've all been waiting for could come as soon as tonight, with exchanges potentially starting tomorrow or over the weekend. There's also talk that contractors in Iraq have contracts saying they'll be paid at a new rate starting July 20, which is this coming Sunday. Now, is that a hard date? I don't know, nobody really knows, but it's one of the things people are watching. There's also chatter that banks have been bringing staff in early 7 a.m. starts on weekdays, in anticipation of something imminent. Again, that's the rumor, take it for what it is. And look, this is exactly the kind of thing where, if you'd set up your free notifications in the app and flagged TNT Tony or the D NAR or imminent timing claims, you'd have seen all of this the moment it hit last night. You wouldn't be waiting on me to tell you about it this morning, it would have pinged your phone in real time while the rest of us were finishing dinner. That's the whole point of the app. Everything we talk about here, it's their 24-7 the instant it drops, free to download, and you pick exactly what you want to hear about and tune out the noise. I'll tell you more about that in a minute, but just if you're tired of being a step behind, that's the fix. The other big name in the watch this weekend camp is Bruce over at the Big Call. His intel is that President Trump and the military gave the green light over the weekend, the weekend that just passed, and that we're in a three-day window now, with notifications expected within that stretch. He's also saying funds should start moving into bondholder accounts and intermediary accounts within 12 hours of his call, which would have been early this week. I have not seen independent confirmation of that movement, so we'll see. He also mentioned that Trump is supposedly making a nationwide address tonight Thursday night, 9 p.m. Eastern. Now I haven't seen that on any official schedule, so again, grain of salt. If it happens, we'll all know. If it doesn't, it's just another thing that got floated and didn't land, and we keep watching. Now let's zoom in on the Dinar specifically because that's where most of the detail is today. The big story, and it's been building all week, is this Al Zadi's trip to Washington wasn't just a handshake and photo-op visit. The thinking going around is that this was the final coordination, the moment where Iraq and the US lined everything up, governance, energy deals, and critically financial system reforms that would allow Iraq to revalue. And the hope is that now that he's back, the central bank of Iraq has everything it needs to move. Some of the chatter says the CBI could announce a rate change overnight without warning, the way central banks sometimes do. That's always been the theory: you go to bed one night and wake up to a new rate on the screens. It's happened in other countries. Could it happen with Iraq? Maybe, we're watching. There's a lot of talk about the one-to-one rate. Frank 26 has been saying, and others are echoing this, that once the dinar moves off its current peg, supply and demand will drive it quickly to parity with the dollar. Not over years, not a slow float quickly. Now that's the claim, I'm not endorsing it, I'm just telling you it's out there and people are leaning into it. The idea is that Iraq doesn't want to sit at 1300 to 1 for long, that Trump and Iraqi leadership have a shared vision of a strong dinar, and that once it moves, it moves fast. We'll see. The CBI hasn't said any of this publicly, so we're still in the land of intel and rumor. There's also some technical stuff happening on the ground in Iraq that people are reading as very positive signs. Word is that earlier this week, the central bank issued new guidance allowing local banks to pay out dollars in cash again, but only if those dollars are matched by deposits held in overseas accounts that Western regulators can see. In other words, they're tightening the screws on money laundering and smuggling, and they're forcing everything into the formal system. That's exactly the kind of thing the IMF and Treasury want to see before they bless a revaluation. It's not proof that it's happening tomorrow, but it is real verifiable progress. Same with the ASYCDA customs system that went live around July 10th, it's an electronic declaration system that chokes off smuggling at the border and makes the whole economy more transparent. These are not hype, these are actual reforms. Do they guarantee a revaluation is imminent? No. Do they move Iraq closer to being forex ready? Yes. One more thread that's getting a lot of attention. The idea that Iran had to be dealt with before Iraq could revalue. The theory is that as long as Iranian-backed militias had a stranglehold on Iraq's government and economy, there was no way the US or the IMF would let Iraq revalue, because too much of that new wealth would have flowed straight to Iran. And the claim now is that that stranglehold is breaking, that Trump and Al Zaidi's government are forcing those militias out, and that this trip to Washington was partly about proving that Iraq is ready to stand on its own. Again, this is analysis and educated guessing, not confirmed fact. But it's a threat a lot of people are watching, and it does make logical sense if you step back and think about the geopolitics of it. So where does that leave us today? Here's my honest read. There is genuine forward movement happening in Iraq, real reforms, real meetings, real tightening of the financial system. That's not hype, that's just news. But the specific timing tonight, tomorrow, this weekend, that's still very much in the we've heard this before category. I'm not telling you it's not going to happen. I'm saying we hold it loosely, we watch, and we don't bet the farm on any single claim. We've been in 48 to 72 hour windows before. Sometimes they're real and something actually drops. More often they roll forward and we find ourselves watching the next date, that's just the nature of this thing. The Dong has been pretty quiet this week, no major new claims, no big movement. Vietnam's economy continues to hum along, and there are still people who believe the Dong is part of the broader GCR basket and will revalue when everything else does, but there's no new intel today that moves that story forward. If something breaks, you'll hear it here, or in the app the moment it lands. The Zim same thing, quiet. The hope is still that it's part of the reset and that the bonds will be redeemable at some kind of structured rate, but I have no new information today that changes that picture. It's a wait and see. Alright, let's pull back and look at the big picture for just a second because I think it's important to remember where we are in the broader story. This isn't just about one weekend or one phone call. This has been unfolding for months, years really, and what we're seeing this week is a culmination of a lot of threads. The Trump administration has made it very clear that they see Iraq as a strategic partner and that they want Iraq's economy to stabilize and grow. Al Zaidi's government has made it clear that they want to modernize Iraq's financial system, clean up corruption, and move toward a stronger currency. Those two visions are aligning, that's real. The question is just timing, and timing is the thing nobody can call with certainty. We've also got some chatter on the bonds and humanitarian side. Marxi is reporting that funding for Indian nations groups is about 80% complete and should wrap in the next few days with bonds to follow. After that, the word is Admiral's group and other private groups would start to move and then we'd see the public notification. That's the sequence people are hoping for. Is it locked in? No. But it's one of the storylines people are tracking, and if you're in one of those groups, it's worth keeping an eye on. Here's what I'm watching for today and into the weekend. First, does Trump make any kind of public statement tonight? If he does and if it touches on Iraq or the economy or anything GCR adjacent, that will be significant. If he doesn't, it's just another floated claim that didn't pan out and we move on. Second, does the CBI make any announcements? Do we see any movement on the rate screens? If Al Zaidi is back home and the theory is that his return is the green light, then logically we should see something soon if the theory is right. And third, do any of the bond or private group folks start reporting real movement? Because if they do, that's a leading indicator for the rest of us. But I want to be really clear I am not holding my breath and I don't think you should either. Hope, absolutely, watch closely, yes. But we've been here before, and the single smartest thing any of us can do is stay calm, stay informed, and not ride every single high and low. This is a marathon, not a sprint, and the people who do well in this are the ones who keep their heads and make smart decisions instead of emotional ones. One last thing before I let you go. If you are not already using the app, today is a really good day to grab it. Everything we just talked about, every claim, every guru, every piece of intel, it's all in there, organized, timestamped, trackable. And here's the thing it's free. Free to download, free access to most of the features. And if you grab a VIP membership right now, that's free too. You get custom notifications, you pick exactly which gurus you want to follow, which currencies, which kinds of claims, and the app pushes them straight to your phone the moment they land. You're never waiting on the next show, you're never a step behind, and you're not drowning in feeds trying to keep up with everybody. It's all in one place. The app's coming to the Apple and Google store soon, but for now the only way to get it is straight from the website, gcrsentinel.com. Go there, download it, set it up, and you'll thank yourself tomorrow morning when something drops and you're the first one to know. VIP member QA is also coming soon. You'll be able to send in your questions and I'll answer them right here on the show. So if you've got something you've been wondering about, hang tight, that's on the way. Alright, that's where we are this Thursday morning. Eyes on tonight, eyes on the weekend, but holding it all with a grain of salt like we always do. If something moves, you'll know. If it doesn't, we'll be right back here tomorrow with whatever's new. Stay smart, stay hopeful, and I'll see you in the morning. This is Truman Vale. Take care.
