Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for this wonderful day, this time together with your children and to those who may be seeking you, that you're drawing into yourself. Lord, thank you for using me as a vessel of your will and your words and your healing and blessings and salvation. Thank you, Lord, that you help me to sow the seed, the word, the manner from heaven, into the hearts of the listeners, and that it take root and bear fruit in their lives as we grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. To you we give all the honor and all the glory, Lord, for you alone are worthy to be praised. In Jesus' name. Amen. Hallelujah. Well, I want to talk to you today about something the Lord has been talking to me about. Of course, that's always the case. The message starts with me first. Then I share it to y'all. Hallelujah. Welcome to all of you who are here in other places at other times or listen or watch. God bless you. Praying for you too. Love to hear from you. But I want to talk about trusting God. Even when we don't understand. I'll just tell you a little story about my week for days. Well, see, in the backyard, I have uh I have a garden right out in the middle of the backyard I made for my wife, and it's just uh got a birdbath in there, and I've got three hummingbird feeders there. And uh and they were coming in slowly as the time has come for them to start arriving, and then they just sort of stopped coming. And so I've been watching, I've been praying, changing the you know, the water out and making sure everything's ideal for them or whatever, and I've been praying for those hummingbirds to come to the feeders. Well, I just kept looking and waiting, and I think on Friday night, so I was expecting the hummingbirds, and I just, so I was watching as because it's it's out in sort of mostly uh, you know, a lot of sun, which isn't ideal. So I said, I'll just watch it uh at dusk, you know, because I know they come in the mornings and evenings. Well, I'm sitting there just expecting them. I've been there for a few minutes, peeking out the window, you know, out the back door. And around dusk, instead of the hummingbirds, I looked down and and there in the birdbath, something else appeared. A beautiful male cardinal. And if you know much about cardinals, they they they they like to get married and stay together, praise God. And so the usually when you see one, the other's not far watching. But uh, and it's I thought it was kind of unusual because this beautiful, brilliant red cardinal came, and then his then his wife, his mate, came, and they were both sitting there on the birdbath, and he was taking him a good bath, and then you know, they were drinking, and then and then she got in, she bathed, and it was really so peaceful and beautiful, you know, and I was really blessed by it. I love that sort of thing. My wife and I, and my whole family, the kids love cardinals. I mean, who doesn't, right? But in that moment, I felt the Lord speaking to my heart, and he says, you know, sometimes you're so focused on what you are looking for or wanting that you almost miss the beautiful thing that I've already sent or that I'm doing. And it's really true. That's what we do with God so often, isn't it? We look for Him to do something or give us something, not appreciating, not intentionally, but not appreciating all that we already have. Because we already have everything. The abundant life Jesus died to provide us with is ours. But we're often begging for him to heal us or bless us or deliver us, not realizing that he's already done it all. Two thousand years ago. When Jesus entered into Jerusalem on that last week of his ministry before being crucified, the people were looking for a warrior king, weren't they? To come and deliver them from the oppression of their Roman occupiers. But what they were getting was something far greater: a savior from their sin, from eternal death and separation from God. At least an opportunity for that. Our dear friend Don McAtee sent me something this week that reminded me of something that Jesus said from the cross. And I got to thinking about that. In Matthew 27, 46, Jesus cried out, My God, my God, why have thou forsaken me? Eloy, Eloy, Lama Sabaktani. Why have thou forsaken me? Remember, Jesus had become fully man, as we've been discussing, in order to qualify to be our kinsman redeemer, to qualify for the work he had to do on our behalf, didn't he? And now in his humanity, he was showing that God had indeed placed all of our sin, all of our sickness, and the judgment for our sickness and our sin upon the body of his holy and sinless son, Jesus Christ. And yes, indeed, he did turn his back on Jesus because of that sin. And he poured out his judgment upon him. He turned his back on one who he had never been apart from momentarily. So he would never have to turn his back on us again. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Jesus. But do you realize Jesus was quoting Scripture when he said that? That was from Psalm 22. That's the first verse of Psalm 22. My God, why have you forsaken me? But in that same Psalm, in the sixth verse, he said something very profound and interesting. He said, I am a worm and not a man. Now he was speaking far beyond what anyone could possibly understand at the time. The Hebrew word for worm is something like rama. But anyway, the word that he used for worm there was not the normal word. When he said, I am not a man, I'm a worm. He said, I am a tola. T-O-L-A. Tola is referring to a very specific worm called the crimson worm. It has a very interesting life cycle, that crimson worm, that tola. When the tola is ready to lay eggs, she climbs a tree and attaches herself to that tree permanently. Then she lays her eggs beneath her hard shell and sacrifices her body to feed her new children. When she dies, her body releases a crimson red fluid that stains the wood and her offspring. In the old times, the harvesters would collect that red dye, and they would make a permanent dye that they used in the priestly garments, and in the tabernacle curtains, which was torn from top to bottom when Jesus laid down his life. So the mother worm clinging to that tree, shedding her blood to give life and protection to her children, is a picture of Jesus and what he did for us. Praise God. Jesus is our Tola worm. He willingly went to the cross, the tree, for one purpose, to give his life to his children so they could live. He poured out his blood so we could live and be washed clean. Isaiah 118 says, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. By the way, did I mention after the worm dies, three days later, its red crimson shell turns as white as snow? Praise God. Jesus didn't just pay for our sins, he became the sacrifice so we could be made completely new, reborn into a new life through him, washed in the blood. Second Corinthians 5 21 states that God made Jesus who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. Raise your hand and say, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah. Romans 4, 6 says, God credits righteousness to our account completely, apart from works, apart from our effort or good deeds or behavior. It's imputed to us. That's a word that I like from the Bible. Impute means that it's to when you impute something, you credit, you credit or place something to someone's account. You see? So God has legally credited believers with Jesus Christ's perfect righteousness. Instead of our sins being held against us, they were placed on Jesus on the cross, which allows us to be declared righteous through faith. Amen. Praise God. I am so thankful. We're already complete in him. As he is, so are we. Right now, he is in us, and we are in him, just as he is one with the Father, and we are all one now. We have a covenant with God, a binding legal birth certificate. Into the family of God through Jesus Christ, who has chosen you, chosen me, and become not only our Savior, but our big brother and our friend, our king and our Lord forever. Hallelujah. By the grace of God, because of what Jesus has done, we don't have to beg God to heal us or bless us. He's already provided it all. We just need to thank him and believe it and receive it. Colossians 2, verses 9 and 10 says, in him, speaking of Jesus, of course, dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. That means he's God. And then it says, and you are complete in him. Everything that's his is yours. Ephesians 1 3 says that God has already, God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. And then it goes further in 2 Peter. He mentions in 2 Peter 1.3 his divine power has given us all things that pertain to life, this life and godliness in this life. And then, of course, 1 Peter 2.24 reiterates what Isaiah said in chapter 53 of Isaiah. He declares that by Jesus' stripes we were healed. And this is not a spiritual healing. Of course, that took place as well. We just discussed that. But this was physical all the way. And he goes on and proves that in Matthew chapter 8. If you remember Jesus at Peter's mother-in-law's house. First he healed her and she got up and started serving them. Then everybody brought the sick and those who were oppressed by demons, and he started casting out the demons with a word and healing all who were sick. All who were oppressed of the devil were delivered. Amen. And if that's just a spiritual healing, then how come all nobody left with their bandages on and they all started leaving without their crutches? Without their leprosy, without their demons. It even mentions that this was this was in uh that this was to uh to confirm what Isaiah the prophet had spoken, that he bore our illnesses and our diseases. Amen. So it's already done. But but but we are three-part beings, right? Spirit, soul, and body. Isn't that what it talks about in 1 Thessalonians 5.23? And we need to learn to walk according to the new man. It's our born-again spirit that we can't discern with our natural senses that has been born again, renewed, perfected, and made holy. That's where all the power, that's where the well is. Amen? That living water who has a name that the song was talking about. Hallelujah. The Spirit of God has sealed your born-again spirit, which is perfected and holy. Inside of you, you have the very mind of Christ, the kingdom of God, kingdom of God dwells in you. So we need to learn to walk according to the new man, the new life, to live inside out, like I like to say, instead of outside in. In other words, we don't live by sight, we live by faith. We're three-part beings. Our spirit is already healed. Our spirit is already blessed and prosperous and complete in Christ. But here's the point: for that reality to show up in our physical body, our soul must prosper. Our mind and will and emotions. That's why we're encouraged to renew our minds with the washing of the water of the Word of God. Amen. 3 John 2, what do you mean? For the for that to manifest what's in our spirit, our soul has to prosper. Because God says, above all things, in 3 John 2, he says, Behold, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in good health, even as thy soul prospers. See the correlation. Well, how does my soul prosper? Well, it's diet-related. Praise God. Now I got somebody's attention. Your spiritual food. You have to feed on the word of God. Agree with God. Learn to do whatever Jesus tells you, just like his mama said at that wedding in Cana of Galilee. Not to earn salvation, but to see the manifestation of the promises of God in this life. Amen. Proverbs 420, verse 20 through 22 tells us, my son, give attention to my words. Keep them in the midst of your heart, for they are life to those who find them, and health to all your flesh. That's what the word will do for you. When we renew our mind with God's word and agree with who we already are in Christ, that truth just flows from our spirit through our soul, out of our mouths, and into our body. Not only will that affect our bodies, but everything around us. When we walk into a room filled with darkness, and you know what I'm talking about, spiritual darkness, it's just like it should be just like someone turned the floodlights on because May is there. Amen. Because all of you are there. Because all of you have some kind of weird claim on this thing. I know I said Jesus my favorite, but y'all are starting to say it now, so I don't know. We'll have to. Can I tell you a secret? He can love you the most and you the most and you the most and you the most and you the most and me the most, and he won't be depleted one bit. If we'd learned that lesson in this life, we'd be just like him. Oh goodness. You want to know how to live inside out, how to live a life after the spirit instead of uh after the flesh, how to walk in the newness and abundance and health and blessings Jesus provided. This is the way. This is the way. I'm a Mandalorian nerd. I don't know if you guys know what Mandalorian is. It's a spinoff of Star Wars. The new movie's coming out this month. This is the way. But no, Jesus is the way. Jesus is the truth. Jesus is the life. And he said in John 15, 7, if you remain in me, abide in me, and my words, my words, my words, my teachings remain in you, ask whatever you will, and it'll be done for you. It's all about. It's all about this Jesus without eyeballs right here. He is the word made flesh. Faith for the things that we need, our provision. We all have needs for healing. Sometimes things try to come upon believers too. But the faith that we need to obtain what we need, to get it to manifest out of our spirit into this natural where we can use it now. You know what it really just boils down to? Excitement over the promise God has spoken regarding that thing for you. That's right. Do you see that? I want to give you maybe a little challenge today. Are we still looking for hummingbirds? Striving, begging, focusing on what we don't have yet, and missing what is right in front of us. We just need to get excited again about what he has promised and then rest and enjoy all that he's already done while we're waiting for the manifestation of the rest. Isn't that a good plan? Will you accept that challenge today? That's a fun one. Always say life with Jesus should be a great, exciting adventure. That's that childlike faith. And by the way, just as I will be seeing lots more hummingbirds, Jesus will be returning as the conquering king that they were looking for initially. But right now, we just need to open our eyes to the beautiful cardinals, the red birds that are all around us, and the wonderful things that God has sent for us to enjoy. We need to see the beauty, the healing, the provision, and the victory that God has already placed right in front of us through Jesus Christ. You know, you're not a sick person trying to get healed. You're a healed person learning to walk in your healing. Defending what you already have from a devil who wants to steal it. Once you see that you already possess everything that Jesus has paid for you to have, you'll do more to protect it. Instead of trying begging God to send it down. He's like, I can't do any more than I already have. I've already put everything in your account. Start drawing from the well. Making withdrawals from the account. And when you do, it's never depleted one bit. So you're not sick trying to get healed. You're just a healed person learning to walk in your healing, and you need to say so. Say so. You're not lacking, trying to get blessed. You're already blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ, and you need to say so. You need to believe you're blessed, loved, redeemed, healed, delivered, and prosperous. And you need to say so. I was gonna finish right there. But can I just tell you about one more thing? That kind of goes along with this. Y'all know those scriptures that Kenneth Hagin wrote. Not really. Holy Spirit wrote it, so nobody send me a message. I'm not being. I'm just being making a joke. But in Mark chapter 11, you remember when Jesus was walking by that fig tree, he saw a fig tree at a distance and he was hungry, so, and it had leaves on it. And May and I know that the figs and the leaves come at the same time. With fig trees, it's supposed to. Anyway, I know one version says, oh, count says that it wasn't the time for fig. But anyway, the point is Jesus, he knows better than any of us, right? So he was hungry and he went over to that fig tree, and and it didn't have any figs. It had leaves, but no figs, and it was a hypocrite. It was proclaiming something it wasn't offering. And he cursed it. He says, May no one ever eat fruit of you again. Remember that? And there's two accounts in the Gospels. One says, and it died immediately. And then this one says, as they passed by in the morning, starting in verse 20, they saw the fig tree withered away to its roots. There's not a conflict in that story. What did God tell Adam and Eve in the garden? The day you eat of that fruit, you shall surely die. But Adam lived to be about what, seven, eight, nine hundred years old, something like that. A lot longer than that. But they did die that day. Because God is a spirit. And those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. You're a spirit with a soul and a body. Their spirit died that day. Same thing here. The roots died that day. And you know what? When the roots die, you could pull that fig tree up out of the ground that day and set it over on the ground. And for the rest of that day, you'll still see some green leaves on that fig tree, wouldn't you? But it'd start dying immediately. Nevertheless, as they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree wither away its roots, and Peter remembered and said to him, Rabbi, look, the fig tree that you cursed has withered. It died. And Jesus said, So? No. Jesus answered him, Have faith in God. In other words, this is not a big deal. I said it, didn't I? Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain be taken up and thrown into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, not when you see it. Believe when you pray that you already have it. Knowing that if you pray anything according to the will of God, it will be granted for you. So believe that you have it when you pray, and it will be done for you. It will be yours. And then I never stop short of this. And whenever you stand praying, forgive. This is one of the elements of digging deep to get down to the bedrock in your life. Forgive. Whenever you pray, forgive. I walk around praying, I walk around forgiving all the time. Lord, you know I forgive them. I choose to forgive that Holy Spirit. I don't go by my feelings. I forgive. You know what happens to me every time, though? Lord, I hope they forgive me. Oh, they forgive me too. I don't want to be a stumbling block, Lord. And that should be how we all feel. How do you think Paul felt? I mean, if Paul can get through it, so can we. No matter how I'm pretty sure none of you had as bad a life as I did before the Lord got a hold of me, but if I if he can get through it, I can too. He was killing Christians and then he became one. You know what I mean? And then he had to go preach to some of those families, I'm sure. Huh? He never backed off either. Whenever you stand praying, forgive if you have anything against anyone, so that your father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. So don't forget that part. But when you pray, make sure that right here, Lord, you did this for this guy. You did it for one, you'll do it for me. You're no respecter of persons. I'm claiming that right now, and I want to thank you right now, Lord, in Jesus' name. It's about that hard. But then get excited. Get excited. Like a kid gets excited about Christmas at Thanksgiving. Amen. Until you see it. Way before you see the healing, you're healed. Before you see the money in the bank account, you're already prosperous. All things are possible to them who believe, right, Samuel? Just don't stop believing. Oh, what a great song. Don't stop proclaiming the victory. Because in Christ it's already won. Amen. Praise God. Praise God. I want you to think about your greatest financial need right now. And I want you to say, Father, I believe that that is taken care of right now. That you have made provision for that right now. In Jesus' name. I claim it, I believe it, I receive it, and I give you thanks. I give you all the glory and honor. And when it comes, I'm going to be sure to give you all the glory and honor and praise. But it's already done. Thank you. If you have a physical need or needs, plural. Don't just say, oh, if God can just heal this one thing, I can handle the rest. That's so stupid. You think if he heals it all, the lights in heaven are going to dim? They won't. He's the source of all the stars and that you see at night. Just say, Lord, by Jesus' stripes, I am healed. I receive healing and total health from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. I receive it right now in Jesus' name. Thank you, Father. It's done. Amen. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Now, when you mention it again, don't ask for those things again. Just thank him every time you think about it. Just thank him about it for it every time that it's done. When you pray for yourself according to the word, like that, and you receive it by faith, and you get excited, don't go back and ask again. It's not a sin, it's just not one of them wasn't in faith. Now, listen, the difference then is when you're praying for somebody else, like family members, to be saved. Because every time you pray, you believe they they got what you're praying for. But they have a free will. And they're rejecting God left and right and left and right and left and right. So you keep praying and believing. See the difference? But your will is lined up with God's will. And you know He wants only good for you. So just receive it and get excited about it in Jesus' name. Heavenly Father, thank you for opening our eyes today. Thank you for helping us to see what has already been done, what we already have to receive the healing that's already in our born-again spirit to manifest into our bodies. Thank you, Lord, for showing us how to live inside out, to walk delivered and free from the oppression of the enemy, to walk in the provision, the abundant life that Jesus came to provide us with, knowing that it's only the enemy that comes to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundant. Help us to walk in the abundance of life that you have for us in every area of our lives. Thank you, Lord, that when we need a dollar, we'll ask for two so that we can give one away. Thank you, Lord, that we are blessed to be a blessing. You said so in your word, and that's how it is. So we'll never say you've done enough for me, Lord, because it's not about us. You want us blessed, but you want us to live out of the overflow so that everyone around us will be blessed and encouraged and healed and empowered with your love and your peace and your salvation in Christ Jesus. And we thank you, Lord, that you are a good, good Father. We thank you for your Son Jesus Christ, and we thank you that you have sent the Holy Spirit to be with us, our paraclete, to come along and walk along aside us and take a hold together with us against everything that confronts us in this life, to empower us. This life we laid down and only to be taken up again in Christ. The life that we now live is no longer us who live, but Christ who lives in us. The same power that raised him from the dead lives in us and gives life to these mortal bodies. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord, that the joy of the Lord is our strength. We're gonna get excited and stay that way and believe for every good thing that you have for us. Help us to fulfill all the days that you have for us written in your book, Lord God, in strength and health and prosperity and the joy of the Lord in Jesus' name. Amen.
