No. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Be seated if you want to. Run laps if you want to. Whatever. Just no snake juggling here. Forgive me, Lord. He has a great sense of humor, you know that? The first time I ever heard his audible voice, he was laughing at me. But it was a good laugh. I was crying, he was laughing. Like a father laughs when a little child is really upset and there's nothing wrong, you know, to be upset about. It's okay. And then I heard him tell me he loved me. I was his child. He was pleased. Never forget it. Hallelujah. Ah. Lord, we love you. Hallelujah. Well, happy resurrection Sunday. Glad you are all here. I was telling Samuel and Joey this morning when I was a kid, this to my mother and my grandparents and our family, this this was the biggest day of the year. Christmas was always great, but Easter was a really big thing. Christians need to be praying. The word is imperative, amen. Hallelujah. Why don't we stand up today for the reading of the word? I don't usually do this, but I just want to read a little bit to you for a moment. I'm going to read from Luke chapter 24, starting in the beginning. But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared, and they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. But when they went in, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel, and as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, Why do you seek the living among the dead? He's not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you while he was still in Galilee that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and on the third day rise. And they remembered his words. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord, for your precious word. Heavenly Father, thank you so much for this resurrection Sunday, this Easter Sunday. We can come together and worship you and grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for everything that you have accomplished on our behalf. We love you. We love you for it, this amazing display of love, this unspeakable gift. Not because we can't talk about it, but just because words are not enough to describe the payment that you've made, the sacrifice. So thank you, Father. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Holy Spirit. We just love you, Lord, and use me today as a willing vessel, a conduit to spread the seed of the Word of God, the manner from heaven, and to share your resurrection life with those who hear this message, either here or in any other place, at any other time. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. Be seated, be seated. Praise God. He's worthy, amen. Brothers and sisters, this resurrection Sunday, this Easter morning, we need to remember or hear this clearly. Jesus laid down his life for you on the cross, but we don't leave Jesus on the cross. He didn't stay there. Jesus was placed in a tomb for three days. And you can go to a couple places in Israel. Places that they believe that he may have been placed, right? But don't go visit him expecting him to be in the tomb. He didn't stay there, Joey. Jesus isn't the baby in the manger that we think of at Christmas time. He's not a baby anymore. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. So Resurrection Day or Easter Sunday marks the greatest day ever. For mankind. The greatest day in the history of mankind for all mankind. For all of mankind. Why, you say? Everyone isn't saved. No. Everyone isn't going to heaven. True. Some won't. But the love of God and the hope of opportunity has been revealed and extended to all mankind. For God so loved the world, he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Right? 1 John 2, 2 says, He is the propitiation for our sins. And not for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world. I like that in the amplified version. It says, and he, Jesus Christ, that same Jesus, is the propitiation for our sins, the atoning sacrifice that holds back the wrath of God that would otherwise be directed at us because of our sinful nature, our worldliness, our lifestyle, and not for ours alone, but also for the sins of all believers throughout the whole world.

So the payment has been made. Amen. And the invitation is for everyone. That's the wonderful simplicity of the grace of God, the mercy and grace of God. So let's just talk about some of those things that I mentioned for a few moments. Amen. Jesus is the payment. That's what propitiation is. The sacrifice for our sins. I'll show you something wonderful from the Old Testament that I may have mentioned before. I like to do that. Redundancy is good in God, Peter said. But it points straight to Jesus. And it always will make you, when you see things in the Old Covenant, which it's all about him. Isn't that what he told those two disciples on this particular day when he was resurrected and they had that long walk to Emmaus? He opened up the scriptures and revealed himself. Amen. But when you see those things, it makes you love him even more, doesn't it? If that's possible. Every day in the temple, morning and evening, the priest offered the Tamid. A perfect, spotless lamb. It was a continual burnt offering. The blood of the Tamid, the lamb, was poured out, and the lamb was completely consumed or burnt up on the altar. And the smoke rose as a constant reminder to God, because sin requires sacrifice. And that sacrifice or payment to God is what? There's only one. Death. Blood. The life is in the blood. So we're saying the same thing. Amen. What does this show us? It shows us how utterly unacceptable sin is to God. How holy He is. Now, this to me offering, this had to be done over and over again, just like all the offerings that were all pointing to Jesus. Hebrews chapter 10. In the first, I'm not going to go there right now. I'll stay there. But in the first 14 verses or so, it describes all these animal sacrifices as being offered repeatedly, year after year, because they can't permanently cleanse sins. Right? I'm summarizing here in Texan. Is that okay? They act only as a reminder of sins. Isn't that what it says? But the writer says, in contrast, that Jesus offered one sacrifice for sins forever. In the twelfth verse. And sat down. Dropped the mic. He sat down at the right hand of the Father. Completing the work. His mission being done. Finished. Jesus became the final Tamid lamb. He was crucified on the day of preparation. At the very hour of the Passover, and Tamid lambs were being slain in the temple. And this was happening. Simultaneously, Jesus' blood was being poured out for us. That's when he cried, It is finished. The sacrifice was complete. What was finished? The way for us to God, unhindered. The curtain in the temple was rent, torn from top to bottom, which is quite impossible to do if you understood the size of that curtain. It's hard to tear anything from the top to the bottom anyway. But especially that big, heavy, thick curtain, which I could give you the weight and dimensions and all that, but we'll do that another time. But that was another type, wasn't it? That veil, that temple curtain was torn from top to bottom, making a way for us by God's mercy, by grace, through faith, to walk right into the holy of holies, through the torn veil, the body of Jesus Christ. But listen to this. Romans 6, 9 says, We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again. Death no longer has dominion over him. No control. That's why the angel could say with boldness, why do you seek the living among the dead? He's not here, but has risen. Hallelujah. Is right. Jesus is that perfect once and for all sacrifice. Yet he is alive, living, and reigning. Praise God. Oh, I love when we can keep it so simple. I was reading something the other day from someone that I love. And that they've been. Have you ever met? And you know it's it's sinful for us to judge others' motives. We can judge their actions, but we are not to judge their motives. So when I do that, y'all pray for me. I'm kidding. When I catch myself doing it, I repent right away. Amen. But probably I I can't be the only one. You've known an educated person who is always their one of their one of their character flaws. I'm talking about the spiritual truths now, not worldly truths. There's a difference. One of their character flaws is that they always have to be more educated about everything than anyone else, right? That's where they get their identity. Not against education. I'm against most of the higher educational places right now for reasons that I don't have to go into with you all. With me, it's either all about Jesus or it's all about nothing. But have you ever known someone that made a point of learning the Bible just so no one could tell them anything about the Bible that they didn't know? And the more they studied, the less they knew. You know? And so I read something like that the other day from someone that I love, and it was it confused me. And it was just talking about these simple things, these simple truths that are profound, of course, but we're not saying them in a way that's hard to understand. You can believe it or not, but this is simple, right? And beautiful. And but why did I even go here? I just love the simplicity of the gospel. I've known ministers that convince their people that they had to have them or they would never understand, you know. That's wrong. That's bad. That's a Jezebel spirit, to be honest with you. Control, dominance. Anyway, Hebrews 10 12 says this. I'm gonna read a couple scriptures to you because I love the word of God like you do. Hebrews 10 12, but when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God. In Revelation, he gave John the revelator. John saw him in a different light, right? John didn't see the man that he had laid his head upon his breast when he was revealed to him in Revelation, did he? He saw him as he is and as will see him on his return. In Revelation chapter 1, 17th and 18th verse, John said, When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, Fear not. I am the first and the last and the living one. I died, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and Hades. Oh, praise God. That's your Jesus. Further on in Revelation, in the nineteenth chapter, in the sixteenth verse, it even says that on his robe, speaking of Jesus and on his thigh, he has a name written. King of Kings and Lord of Lords. So two things, as I keep this simple and short today. One, for those who already know Jesus as King, as Lord and Savior, you're not the same person you were before. Because He lives, you have His resurrection life in you right now. As He is, so are you in this world. You're a new creation. You have passed from death to life. The old has passed away. Your sins are forgiven and washed away. You were spiritually dead, but now you have eternal life. You were bound up, but now you have deliverance. You were subject to the one pulling the strings when you had the sin nature, and you were subject to sickness and death, but now you have healing for your bodies. You have supernatural provision. Now and forever. 2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us, therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he's a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, all things have become new. And that born-again spirit, identical to your big brother Jesus Christ. The kingdom of God is within you. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Rivers of living water flow from your belly. See the transition? You were once thirsty. You had a desert within you, a hunger and a thirst that couldn't be quenched or filled. It was the need for God. Now that you have Him, it reverses course. And just like that rock in the desert bursts forth, the source. So you were once in great need, and now you have great provision, not only for yourself, but for a sick and dying world. Jesus sat down at the right hand of the Father, and he entrusted us with this amazing privilege and responsibility. I was telling my reminding my little granddaughter, which doesn't take much the other day, I said, you don't. She was talking about some event or something where some parents didn't want to take the kid because, you know, they're little germ buckets. I said, yeah. I said, that's okay. I said, honey, listen. You hear somebody coughing or something, you you don't worry about catching that. You just you just keep it to yourself, but you think, man, they're so blessed. Because when I sit down next to them, I'm not going to catch that. They're going to get healed because I'm here. Because Jesus is with me. She said, Yeah. The five-year-old Nolan, he was, we were doing eggs and stuff the other day. And we were they just talking all about it. And I was explaining to them about the egg and how you could compare it to the tomb, you know, because he was upset because he cracked one of his eggs. I said, that's all right. Had to be cracked open. It's like the tomb. Jesus came forth. I know, I know, and he just took over and told me all about it. Last year, um this they had just seen the uh the remember the animated uh uh Easter movie that came out last year this time? Anyway, they had gone to see it, and he he he cried, you know, when the when Jesus was placed on the cross, and he reminded us of that. He said, anyway, he was telling us about Good Friday, and then and I was talking to him about Silent Saturday, and he says, Yeah, that's when they put Jesus Friday on the cross. Why I said, Why is it called good? They say, because on Sunday he came back to life. I said, Yeah. What about silent Saturday? He said, I said, well, just because you can't see what God is up to, he's always doing something good for you. Your miracle's coming, your blessing is coming. Always times of refreshing, good things coming from God. They're like, yeah. Those who do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Today can be the greatest Easter Sunday of your entire life. Amen. If you hear this message, even if you hear this message later and it's not Easter, well, I missed it because I didn't listen to it on Easter. Don't worry about that. It doesn't have to be on the resurrection Sunday that we celebrate as Easter. No worries. Every day is Resurrection Sunday in Christ. There's only one day with Him, it's called today. God is a God of today and the future. Forward ever, backward never. Praise God. And the love of God has been revealed and extended to you, to everyone. The payment for every sin you've ever committed has already been made by Jesus. You don't have to clean yourself up first. Nobody gets cleaned up to take a bath. Hallelujah. You just repent of your life. You change your mind. That's all that means. You don't repent in sackcloth and ashes or crawl through broken glass or go hang yourself on a cross in the backyard to prove anything to God or twist his arm. You just change your mind. Hey, I'm I'm sick of that life. I repent of my life of sin. You allow Jesus to do all the changing. He's much better at it, isn't he, Patricia? He's the one that loves you the most and has the greatest plan for you, a much better plan for you than you can possibly ever have for yourself. You simply receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Every religion in the world is trying to earn their way to God. And if it isn't the God that you can only get to through Jesus Christ, it's really not God. So that's important to know. There are some false religions out there that'll take you straight to the devil's hell. You need Jesus Christ to get to the only true God. There's only one mediator between God and man, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. But every religion in the world is trying to work their way to heaven or what their idea of it is. They work, they strive, they follow rules, hypocrisy mostly, and they hope it's enough. You can't be good enough to get to the real God in and of yourself. True Christianity is the only faith or religion, really, I hate to even call other religions a faith because it's it's the only thing that says you can't earn it. God already came down and did it for you. Jesus didn't come to give us a religion, he came to be our Savior and to call us into a personal, intimate relationship with Him and with the Father and to know the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah. That's a good thing. So in closing, salvation is uh not a wage that you there's no wage you can pay to earn salvation, right? It's a gift you have to receive. I'm just keeping this as simple as I possibly can today. The gift of God, the gift, if it's a gift, it can't be earned. It can't be paid for, or it wouldn't be a gift. The gift of God through Christ Jesus is eternal life. If you believe God is calling you to a new life today, I want to give you the opportunity to pray with me and receive this amazing gift. Repeat this prayer after me. We'll say it with you. But say it from the heart if you truly mean it. He will hear you. And he will not reject you. That's a promise. Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, but I want to turn from that life and live for you. I believe you died for me on the cross and rose again on the third day. I receive you today as my Lord and Savior. Forgive me for all my sins. Make me a new creation. I give my life to you. Thank you for saving me. Thank you for saving me in Jesus' name. Amen. Praise God. If you said that prayer and you meant it, I believe we'll see you in heaven. I just want to say thank you to all of those who are here today. I love you. And we're believing for a place of our own that we can do more things and have more things to offer. I believe the word of God is the most important thing. But we still want to be able to accommodate everyone who would love to come. So be believing with me for that. Pray for all those who couldn't be here. And all of you who are listening in other places, and believe me, I see. Oh, it's overwhelming from Germany these days and Spain. Who would have thunk? God bless you. Love you. I see you. All of you in Persia. The greatest growth of the underground church in the whole world right now is in Iran. Praise God. We are praying for them. We are praying for the peace of Jerusalem. We are praying for our troops. We are praying for everyone. Amen. This is a third great awakening. We are believing for a billion-soul harvest. Amen. I think about 46,000 times now, and we've covered a majority of the globe. People have listened to what is typically an hour or a little over sermons from this pulpit right here. That's a blessing. And we see you and we pray for you. I got the message, and from not from the not from that, that's from the the uh the audio only. I don't I don't know the logistics of the the video portions. And now there's even different ways and means so there that's that's a whole nother set of people and places. I got told you about the message I got from someone in Ireland a few weeks ago telling me how much the message blessed them. I was like, thank you, praise God, thanks, thanks be to God. So we pray that this day of technology the we have access to the entire world. And people want, you know, even as it seems like less and less here in our nation where we are very spoiled. We have a church on every corner, and uh people are more and more drawn to the ones that are more accommodating to them. Um God bless them, and then only have to have to, I say in a facetious way, endure a 15-minute message guaranteed not to offend. But it's not that way everywhere. There are people like you who really just want God and want the word of God and and don't ever leave him at the church when you leave. You see that's that's you know how if you really see yourself as the church, how can you leave him at a church, out of a building, you know what I'm saying? So that's our goal is to create disciples, disciplined learners of the word, because without this word in these end times, you're gonna be so susceptible to the deception of the enemy. There's so many Trojan horses of deception that have entered into the church. And the more you see, the enemy knows if he can get behind one of these and say things enough, people begin to believe it. Especially when they already had a stronghold where they wanted that to be true, and they needed someone to reinforce that stronghold for them that they perceived to be of God. That's a real thing. Do you understand what I'm saying? People build their whole lives around a lie, and then when they decide they they feel drawn to the Lord, they know there's a God-sized void, and they start reading this and they see the things that tell them what they're built their lives around is not of God, and He's opposed to it. They can't stand the thought of undoing that. So, what do they do? What does the Bible tell us that they will do in the end times? They'll seek out teachers who will tell them what they want to hear. And if it's someone who's holding one of these, maybe even have a supplemental one that they've added of their own doing, they dismiss much of this, but they still up here, got their collar turned around a certain way or whatever. They seem official, they say they're from God, and they say it's okay what I'm doing. That's the place for me. That's what you're praying against. Why? Because we're against anybody? No. We're for them. We're for them more than the liar standing there telling them that they're okay. Because we love them, we want them to know the truth and embrace the truth. We don't have the right to withhold the truth of God from anyone. That doesn't mean you go jump in people's faces and tell them they're going to hell. That's not the gospel. It's true, perhaps, but the gospel is the good news, the almost too good to be true news of what we just talked about here today, what Jesus has accomplished on our behalf, and the fact that it's a free gift, this grace of God, if we receive it by faith. So continue to pray, pray in the Spirit, pray for everyone to know the truth. And the truth is a person. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father but by Him. And he said, if you, those of you who hear my words and keep them, do them, then you're really my disciples. There are going to be people before him that didn't ever really have an encounter with the real Jesus, who were never born again, but they will have played church somewhere along the way. They're going to say, we did all this. See, there's the first sign that you're in trouble. When you start giving God your qualifications to be in his presence, you don't have any. I don't care how good of a life you've led in and of your own strength. Your only hope is when God looks at you, because when God looks at you, he sees the seed. God looks at the seed. He either sees Adam, the first Adam, with the corrupted, fallen sin nature, that corrupted seed is for the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, creation into which entered corruption, and we were stuck on four. And then there's the redemption, the grace of God that came through Jesus Christ. And that's the only way. When God looks at you, he either sees fallen man or he sees Jesus Christ. And so the only hope that we have is to have Jesus living on the inside of us when we stand before God. And now we are adopted into the family of God. Your names are written in the Lamb's book of life. And when God sees you, he sees his son Jesus Christ. You're one of his children. He got your picture in his wallet now. Hallelujah. God is good and good for you. But there's a real God, and he revealed himself in this love letter, this Bible, this basic instructions before leaving earth. And it's all about the grace of God, God's riches at Christ's expense. But you can't do it without him. And you can't do it with a God of your imagination, or a Jesus of your imagination, or one that just understands everything about you and he's okay with it. If it doesn't line up with the Word of God, when you say God is love, and so think that that love means he's okay with everything, it's you better read the whole, the Bible says you got to eat the whole scroll. There's a lot of parts in here where Jesus is talking and it doesn't sound very soft and fuzzy. And you need to accept even those parts. Sheep were never meant to carry packs on our back. We don't have to carry the burden of that. We're not God. He is, and we're not the judge. But we judge all things, just not all people. And it's hard when people you know or love are not there. So keep praying. Go help a stranger get Jesus. God's already got his eyes on the ones you love and that you've been praying for. You can't outgive God. It's true that in him you have eternal life. You've gone from spiritual death to life. Eternal life. And all the other things too. Sickness no longer has dominion over you. But you know, if you don't honor God with your finances, and I'm not taking up an offering, I'm just telling you the truth. If you don't honor God with your finances, which Jesus said, this is the least. I'm using it as an example because it's something you understand. I'm talking about that's how Jesus talked about it like that. He talked about money a lot because it knew he, like he talked about farming, because it was things that people understood. Seeds. Everything in the kingdom is a seed. If you don't trust God with the first tenth of your finances, all your increase, before you look at your bills and send all the, well, people don't use checks anymore, but before you pay all your bills. If you wait until you see what's left over and then and then tip him out of that, that's not faith. I'm not taking up an offering. I'm telling you that if you don't trust God with your finances, I can guarantee you you don't trust him with your healing. I don't even know why I said that today, but somebody needs to hear it. Everything in the kingdom is about seed. Yeah? There are spiritual laws at work, and they're gonna either benefit you or do you great detriment, not because God intended it that way. He intended for you to embrace them and benefit from them. They're there for your good. Do you know that gravity is on this earth? We have gravity for our own good. Otherwise, you'd be floating next to the, what's it called, that uh spaceship that's up there now?

So thankful. I was so thankful when we we had the lights on in here this morning and air conditioned, all the wonderful things that we benefit from electricity. But I had a great friend that passed away not too long ago. He was in a wheelchair as a quadriplegic for 35 years. Grew up with him, one of the funnest guys, great guy I ever knew. Got electrocuted. Learn. Ephesians 5.10 says, find out what pleases God. It pleases God when you receive from him. And all he has is good. Every good and perfect gift comes down from above from the Father of lights in whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Why does he have to say that? The same reason Jesus said on the last night of his ministry, when he had so much on his heart, so much to share, turning everything, all of his authority and the whole church over to these group of knuckleheads, basically, who didn't quite get it yet. I say that in love because they make, they give us hope. Amen. John 14, 27. They had witnessed something in Jesus, something so profound. Once they even accused him because of it. A couple of times he was accused. He was accused by Lazarus' sisters. He was accused by the disciples in the boat for having what? Peace. Perfect peace. That let him sleep on a pillow in the back of the boat in a storm when they thought that they were going to die. Peace that allowed him to get some rest before he went on over to Lazarus' and called him forth out of that grave. So that fateful night, I was saying this to say, why did God say every good and perfect gift comes down from him in whom there's no variation or shadow of turning? In other words, he's not going to change his mind. Same thing Jesus said in John 14, 27. Peace I give to you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives, do I give unto you. Because he knows how they are. He knows how this world system is. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. That's our part. There's a spiritual law. Just like the gravity and the electricity and the natural laws I was talking about. There's a spiritual law right there. I want to walk in perfect peace. Have I found myself, have I found that I'm allowing myself to be troubled and afraid? Let me cast that care onto Jesus. Let me pray. I recommend praying in the spirit. Until you get back to a place of peace. Because it's there. It never left. You did. You went from walking after the spirit to walking after the flesh. Your spirit never left. It's still sealed and uncorrupted. Perfect peace right there, the kingdom of God within you. Why do I want that for you so much? Because I love you. Same as God. Even more so when you move past that, because most Christians are, even once they are really Christians, they still running around with their helmet of salvation and their spiritual diapers. Little babies. God wants you to put on all that armor to walk in perfect peace, not just for you, but so you can share it. So you can teach others. The acronym for this church is HELP. We're here to help heal, empower, love, and prosper the body of Christ.

Oh, I pray we all receive that help and go and help others with the same help that we've received from Jesus Christ on this wonderful resurrection Sunday. Amen. Heavenly Father, thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you that you gave us your Son Jesus Christ to live a perfect life, to lay down that life on the cross of Calvary and allow himself to be crucified and complete the mission, to be laid in the tomb and resurrected on the third day in glorious power and light and love and liberty and freedom and peace, having conquered death, hell, and the grave. We thank you, Lord Jesus, that you are our Lord and Savior, our King of kings, our Prince of Peace, our big brother, our kinsman, redeemer, our Lord and Savior, Son of God. We love you.
