Hello everyone, and welcome to another episode of the Over the Fence Common Sense Podcast, where we look for common sense and daily issues. It's getting harder and harder to find. So let's jump right in. Um, based on some recent comments that I've heard lately by people will say in the public eye, I felt compelled to just have a quick video about it. Um so I'm gonna go out on a limb. It's okay, I have a condo out there. I'm out there all the time. I always say the things that people think, but nobody wants to say. Um, and the topic is Trump derangement syndrome, and it's a very real thing. Um, and I'm gonna give you three perfect examples of it right now. Um, it's it's not normal for a person to agree with everything the president says. It's just not normal. Everybody has opinions, everybody's different. However, folks today are taking this hate for Donald Trump to a level that is just insane. They're ate up with hate. It talks about hate several times in the Bible, but John 4.20. Look at that. Let's start with James Carville. This man always has a lot to say. I personally think he has enough mouth for another row of teeth. Um, but he said recently that Donald Trump will quit and walk away by next Easter. And then he said he has trouble getting out of a chair, he sleeps all the time. Now, first of all, we all know Donald Trump works around the clock, very rarely sleeps. Um, I guess the diet of Diet Coke and Big Max is working for him. My man. But second of all, how did we go from he's gonna go for a third term, he's gonna find a way, to he's gonna be gone by Easter? This is exactly what I mean. These people are just spewing the shit out of their mouth. They have no idea. They're just they're getting overtaken by their mood or their hate, and they're just spewing this garbage. I would love to have a conversation with Mr. Carville or a debate, if you want to call it that, just to know what his opinions are based on. I mean, are they based on anything besides just pure hatred for Donald Trump? You know, I just he spends so much time. Let's move on. Rosie O'Donnell, she said recently, and I'll quote, Donald Trump has frontal lobe dementia. It's obvious, unquote. I didn't know she was that qualified to make such a diagnosis of someone without a medical degree, no tests, no examination. Damn, she's good. I mean, maybe she should be a neurologist instead of just being a miserable human being whose life is consumed with hate for Donald Trump. You know what hate does? The person that you hate doesn't give a shit. Donald Trump could care less that Rosie O'Donnell hates him. What she's doing is destroying her own life. She's making herself miserable. And it's sad, it really is sad. That someone can be that consumed with hate for one single person that they let it affect their whole life. I think her health is even is being affected by this. So let's move on to Miss Joy Reed. She said recently that everybody that she knows that's black is not gonna celebrate the 4th of July. What a ridiculous statement. My first question to her is why do you have to make everything about race? I mean, she could have very easily said, well, all of my family and friends, but no, she had to throw that all the black people that I know. I I think the vast majority of Americans will celebrate Independence Day in their own way, regardless of the color of their skin. And I believe it's people like her that drive the racism in this country. Let's not create a problem where there isn't one. I mean, claiming every hurdle in your life is because you're black. Um, or every time you're told no or something don't go your way, it's because I'm black, isn't it? That's it's worn out. People are just sick of it. I mean, here's a news flash for you, Miss Reed. White people have problems too. We have hurdles, and we don't have anybody to blame it on or anything to blame it on. So if there's white privilege in this country, I would like to know when I'm gonna get mine. Because it's been tough. It's been tough. I'll share this with you. I was born in Washington, DC. I grew up in a suburb right outside of the city, and it was predominantly black. But I remember one time many years ago, I walked into a Dunkin' Donuts and I couldn't get waited on. You know, when you go to Dunkin' Donuts, you know, as soon as you walk in, somebody says, Can I take your order? Well, I'm standing there, and I mean, I know I'm white, but I'm not invisible. People were coming in behind me, and the the ladies working there were like, Can I help you? How about you? Can I help you? I I've I know discrimination and I know how it can make a person feel. I just don't think it's as prominent as they're trying to make it. I'm sure it's out there. We all know that. But honestly, nobody cares about the color, nobody gives a damn about the color of your skin but you. You're making it an issue with everything. Uh I believe that your upbringing has a lot to do with your attitude towards race, politics. Families are very uh influential. So if you grow up in a family where race is an issue, it's going to be an issue throughout your whole life unless you decide to do something about it. Um, I realize that there were times when, you know, white people had one bathroom and black people had another, and you couldn't get in to college. And but that's not happening now. It maybe to your grandparents, like they say, nobody alive today has ever been a slave, and nobody that's alive today has ever owned a slave. It's part of our history, it's ugly, and nobody likes to talk about it, but it's there. But don't dwell on it, don't let it shape your life and fill you with hate for white people. Uh, my parents both worked and they were very patriotic. My grandparents, same thing. They were true patriots in my eyes. They loved this country, they didn't always agree with the president or you know, other elected officials, but they loved this country and they respected our flag. And like I said, I'm sure they didn't agree with every president, but they never gave up hope on our country. And I feel like that's what's happening now. People are giving up hope. And you you can't do that. This is the greatest country on earth. My family, my grandparents, and my parents would never have considered uh disrespecting the flag or our country. They may have complained about certain laws or policies, but they would never disrespect the country. It's just they just wouldn't have done that. So I I guess not everyone had the benefit of true patriots in their life as an influence, and influence is very important. Again, I I can't say enough for it. Um I'm proud of the way I was raised. Um I I love this country. Look what's going on right now with FIFA. These teams are coming from all these other countries, and they love it here. They've heard so many bad things about America, and they get here and they see Waffle House and and Buckies and you know our food and ranch dressing. Who'd have thought? Um, and they love this country. Is it too much to ask for American citizens to love this country? And you know, if something pisses you off and you don't like it, vote, run for office, lobby for new new laws. I there's there's processes that we can go through to fix the things that we're not happy with. I'm not saying you can move mountains overnight, but start with voting. So um, there's a lot going on right now about this new um DSA, the Democratic Socialist Party, whatever. I I'm not gonna say a whole lot because I'm gonna do some research and some studying and I don't know, put together a podcast uh about socialists because I'm starting to get a little worried. Starting to get a little worried. It's never worked anywhere. We don't want it here, but there's a handful of people that do, so we need to um pay attention. Vote. So thank you all for watching. Um, please like, follow, subscribe. It all helps my channel. Um, always like to leave with some words of wisdom. So um remember if you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got. So if you're not happy, change it up. Thank you all for watching. God bless you and America. Bye.
