Haier has just stepped into the UK TV market, and the specs suggest this is more than a token launch. We walk through the brand’s first television range and what it signals for the connected home, especially for integrators and industry pros who want a clear good-better-best story across multiple rooms. With three series designed to cover 43 to 85 inches, Haier aims to bring consistency to the living room without forcing clients into a single price tier.

We dig into the platform decisions that shape day-to-day usability: Fire TV on every model for familiar streaming and discovery, Freely support that lets viewers move between live and on-demand content without needing a conventional aerial installation, plus built-in Alexa voice control for hands-free searching and smart home commands. We also flag the KEF-designed sound systems across the range, a welcome touch for customers who care about audio before they commit to separates.

On the performance side, we unpack the flagship S90 series, including QLED, AI-driven picture optimisation, up to 93% DCI-P3 colour coverage and refresh rates up to 144 Hz, alongside Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, HLG and Dolby Atmos support. There’s also a quick real-world note from seeing the 85-inch S90 in a non-traditional demo environment at the Queen’s Club tennis tournament, where brightness, colour saturation and the clean industrial design stood out immediately.

We round things off with the S80 all-rounder (4K QLED plus MEMC motion processing for sport and fast action) and the K85 entry series, then share the UK pricing from £230 through to £1,300. If you work in custom installation, smart home design, or home cinema planning, this is a quick way to understand where Haier is placing its bets in the UK home entertainment market. At the top of the range sits the S90 series, which combines a Q LED panel with AI-driven picture optimization and up to 93% DCIP3 color coverage. The model is available in 55, 65, 75, and 85-inch screen sizes and has a specification to satisfy both movie enthusiasts and gamers. There's support for refresh rates up to 144 Hz, along with Dolby Vision YQ, HDR 10 Plus, and HLG Plus Dolby Atmos Audio. Inside, see I had an opportunity to get eyes on with the 85-inch S90 during a recent hire activation at the Queen's Club tennis tournament. While the environment was far removed from a controlled demonstration room, the large screen model made an immediate impression in the HSB C VIP lounge with its brightness, color saturation, and clean industrial design.

The S80 series serves as the performance all-rounder within the new lineup. Available in sizes from 43 to 75 inches, it pairs 4K QLED technology with MEMC motion processing designed to improve the presentation of live sport and fast-moving action content.
