We are covering all things off campus. If you don't know what off campus is, um, keep up. Yeah, but it's literally uh a show that's trending right now, like hardcore trending. It's on Amazon Prime. Um, all of season one is out, and they just confirmed and started recording season two, which I'm very excited. So excited. Um, but yes, we are yeah, gonna cover literally all of our takes and our opinions on the show. Um, don't, you know, think that we're saying everything that's correct, that this is just our opinion. So I originally I originally saw it three times, and then Sarah finally saw it, and then I was like, we should make an off-campus episode, and then I had to do homework, and the only way that you can do homework is by watching it again and again.

All right, so um, if you want to set the scene, we can. Um, for those who haven't seen it, there's gonna be a lot of spoilers. So, this is your spoiler alerts moving forward. Skip this entire um episode, actually, and truly just you know, backtrack if you're just joining us now and listen to our other episodes, or wait for next week and we'll have a different episode. But this is gonna have spoilers galore, this entire episode. So we are letting you know now lots and lots and lots of spoilers. So go watch it and then come back and listen. So, what made you start watching it? Um, so what I didn't know anything about the show, I didn't even know it was a thing and it existed. Um, I was scrolling on Instagram and I saw the scene where um Garrett and uh Wellsy are in the weight room in a sense, um, and they're supposed to be tutoring or whatever. And he's like, Oh, you blush every time I talk to you or whatever. So it was I know what happens, but originally all I saw was him placing the weights next to her as she's like leaning on the weights and him getting in her face. And I was just like, Oh, shit, what is this show? What is this show and how do I watch it? So I ended up looking it up. Um, and I was and I saw that there was just it was trending. Like the second I put it in, everything. My algorithm just spiked and it was all off campus. I was like, all right, cool. I definitely have to I have to watch the show now. This is that's it, that's that's it. I have to watch it because that episode, well, that clip alone, I didn't even get to like see like what happens after with Logan or anything like that. Right. It was just straight up that clip of him getting in her face, and I was just like, Oh, the chemistry is oozing out of my screen right now. Like, I this is a book, this is a book, yes, yes. I was like, this needs to be on my phone so I can watch it or on my TV so I can watch it. And fun fact, I did watch it anytime I had the chance to. So it was on my phone and on my TV. What about you? I started to watch it because of you.

Uh, really, like halfway through the first episode, I was already hooked. I initially thought, like, oh, I don't love this type of show. I don't even know how to classify it either. Because it's not it's like a rom-com, kind of. Kind of, kind of. And that's not my favorite genre. So I didn't really know what to expect. But it was funny, it was relatable.

I was also hooked on episode one. Um, literally what hooked me was the the belt loop pull and I was like, I need someone to do that to me. I like, I need someone to just do that to me. Pull me in like that. Hearing the um, you're not interested in me, and I'm not interested in a relationship, just solidified the fact that this man is crushing hard. And I'm just like, oh, I can't wait to see where this goes. But yeah, episode one hooked me immediately. It's like a no-brainer, at least for me it was. Although that I also saw the reel. So I was just like, okay, like I know where this goes, kind of. So I was already like invested before I started watching, and then the whole loop belt loop thing hook, whatever pollen, yeah, that whatever move that is, that was that literally hooked me. What surprised you the most in the show? Um, like what was a big like shocker surprise? Probably seeing healthy men.

Yeah, but that whole entire conversation, like it started with like him joking around, and then he's like, No, no, no, seriousness, like this does not leave the weight room, and then they just get down to it, but they're serious, but like funny at the same time, and like, oh, I just love it. I love all of that and the healthy, healthy masculinity, healthy communication, yes, skills, all of that. But these are also men written by a woman, uh-huh. So that's why.

I saw the do not call, and I was like, oh, thank god, it's him. Yeah, that was a good one. Yes, price. If you had to pick a favorite uh first impression, what would it be? Like first impression of a character, or yeah, a character, or just like the show in general.

Um mine was in a sense a character. I mean, first impression of the first episode, like in the beginning. Um, I mean, there was an ass real quick. Oh yeah. And I was like, oh, okay, I'm I'm down for rated 18 plus. Um, so I guess first impressions were pretty high. I mean, I wasn't cringed or anything by it in the beginning. Yeah. Which is good because I probably would have stopped watching fairly quickly. Yeah. If I feel like anything triggered you, yeah. Yeah, yeah. But no, it was it was pretty good. I wasn't turned off by an all. Good. I was turned on. I wasn't turned on, though.

Um no, my favorite first impression was uh meeting Allie, but Allie as J Lo. Yeah. J-Lo Allie. Because everyone knows what I'm talking about. Of course. Honestly. It's every it's honestly everywhere. She looks so fucking hot when she does it. The dance and everything. Um, because we don't get a lot of Allie in the first episode except her tits, which are beautiful. But we don't get a sense of like what her character is um or much of that. It's just very small glimpses of it. We get more of her into episode two, right? Um, at the birthday party. Um, but yeah, she was my favorite first impression, and she's my favorite character, also. So I also have a huge crush on her. So there's that. A little biased. I'm not biased, I'm just crushing fucking hard. She literally made me melt. Like that entire scene, I could watch it on repeat all day. All day, all fucking day.

Yes. Yes. And then he ends up losing it again during Drunk Shakespeare. And then he passes out with a fucking watermelon. He started off as a fucking grape and went to a watermelon. So I enjoyed actually following following that. And I felt so bad, but also I could not help but laugh at that entire thing. And the fact that he literally stuck by it too. He's like, fuck this. I'm gonna I'm gonna stick by it. He's holding on tight. Oh, watermelon. He's like, I'm gonna take care of it. I'm gonna take care of you, Bernardo. I'm gonna take care of you. Even though he like passed it on, yeah, over and over and over and over. Hey, watch this. Hey, watch this, hey, watch this, hey, watch this. It was so good. I I actually really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed that. That's my my comedic relief for the show. Yeah, at least. I agree. That was funny.

He beat a child and his wife, even when she had cancer. Um Delaney, because he literally raped Hannah. Spoilers, obviously. Um, literally raped her, lied about it, got away with it, and is still spreading lies. So the point where, like, the dad even beat the shit out of um fucking what's his face? They they say it in the book. I read the book, guys. Um, um, and my third one is Sean. Of course, yeah. He's literally a walking red flag. Yeah. Like he's yeah, he's he's terrible. Not only is he putting her down every time she wants to do anything or spice up the relationship, he's also like, we have our life set in Vermont. This is what we're gonna do. You know, I'm gonna do this, you're gonna do this, blah blah blah blah blah. Like, your your dreams don't matter to me. Yep. Like, I don't care what you want, how you feel. I like normal, I like boring, and I can't fucking stand him. And then to gaslight her. Oh my gosh. I was like, wow, you really can't be alone, can you? Oh my god, I wanted to fucking punch him through the TV. Me too. The disrespect, like, bro, fuck off. Why? Because she finally moved on from your ass, and now you want to like gets me so fucking mad. Gets me so mad. Um yeah, like Mr. Graham is he he pisses me off because he's he's a piece of shit through and through and should be in fucking jail. Um, but like he's on the sidelines. Unfortunately, he beats his new girlfriend, which is fucking sad, and she can't open her eyes enough to see that it's not okay. And Delaney is just a piece of shit through and through, also. Of course, but we also know them as being the bad guys or the bad characters in the story, right? As Sean that's playing the good guy being a bad guy, right? That I can't fucking stand. So yeah, those are mine. What about you?

Um, I had fun dissecting and trying to find the costume pairs at uh Bo and Dean's birthday party. So I made a list of everything that I found. Beautiful, all the costumes that I found. Let's do it. So obviously, we have the main two magician and rabbit, Graham and Wellsy. They also addresses that because they're playing a trick on everyone. Right. Yes. And then you have Mad Frick and Goose, Birthday Boys. Uh-huh. From Top Gun. And then you have The Birds and the Bees, which is John and John. It's Tuck and Logan. Did you not know what it's about? Oh.

And I was like, yes, got it. Um there's obviously Angel and Devil. I saw somebody dressed as salt and black pepper, cat and mouse. Um, I saw Sims players. They had the little thing on top of the head. And then while Allie and Sean are walking into the house, a deer and headlights are walking out of the house. So the guys dressed up as a deer and the girls the headlights because the lights are on her dits. Wow. I need to watch it again. Yes. So that was like the most fun I had because I was just trying to dissect everything that was going on in the background. I was like, I've already seen this episode. I just want to know what people are wearing. The only thing that I can't figure out is who is Bertie's uh counterpart because I'm not sure what he's dressed as. I don't know if he's dressed as um Marty McFly from Back to the Future or what. That was what it was giving for me, but I don't know who his pair was. But that's everything I found during the um the birthday. That was my favorite of doing homework, at least my end. I had a lot of fun doing that and finding all of the little costumes. There was a lot of pirates, a lot of like um dresses, like inmates, and like with the like the stripes, a lot of referees in there as well. Oh, um, what's her fave? She's in episode one, the one that fucks uh Garrett in the episode one. Oh yeah, I don't know her name. Got her name, but she dresses up as Britney Spears um with the the snake around her neck. Yeah, she dresses up as her, and I didn't catch that until like watching it the fourth time around when I like looked and I was like, oh, she has a snake. She's Britney Spears. So I don't know who her counterpart though was because that was like not like um Justin and Britney era, so I don't know. But that was my little deep dive on on the birthday, birthday costumes, at least. I love that. I'll have to watch it again. Yes, for sure. Um and then I have my favorite quotes. Oh I'm telling you, I did my homework. Go for it. Um, so I have my closed cans are safer, bro, Logan. Oh yeah, consent is key, Dean. Show me, Graham. Yes. Um, and you're not just one thing, babe, you're everything, Allie. Oh yeah, yes, but the show me, I was like, this has to be my favorite quote when he's ever fucking said. That's a good one. Because that scene is just spicy. I didn't like the close-up of like the curling of the feet, but everything else is really oh yeah, yeah. That was a little, but I get it. They were doing it to show them that they were just like climaxing. I understand, but everything else in that scene was just so hot. It was so hot, it absolutely was. I agree, and in the book, it's just as hot, guys, if not hotter. I'll have to read that too. Yes, for sure. Overrated character. Overrated? I feel like Garrett's overrated. Me too. Well, yeah, he's like the MC, and people are like obsessed with him. I'm not number 22, baby, John Logan all the way. Um, but yeah, I feel like he's very overrated, but also because he's the MC. So it makes sense why people are so obsessed with him. He also did his little stripper dance at um drunk Shakespeare. So there's that. Um, but I feel like, yeah, what's your reason why he's overrated? You picked him also. I did. Yeah.

Um, so there was a lot more conversation there as compared to the show where they didn't even say anything. Jules was the one that noticed and confronted Logan and the car.
