Welcome to Because He is Faithful. I'm your host, Dave Leighton. Each week we take a few moments to reflect on different blessings from the unchanging faithfulness of our Lord. Thank you for joining me as we discover fresh encouragement from the one who is always faithful. Today's podcast is inspired by themes from my devotional book, Because He is Faithful. Through 52 weekly devotionals, the book reminds us that God's faithfulness remains constant through every challenge and every blessing. You can find Because He is Faithful on Amazon in paperback and Kindle formats. Perhaps one of the most well known scriptures is from John chapter 3, verse 16. For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. In today's episode of Because He is Faithful, I want to look at Because He is Faithful to Save. The promise of salvation stands at the heart of the gospel. God created humanity for fellowship with Him, yet sin created a separation that people could never bridge on their own. And because of His great love, God provided the solution through Jesus Christ. John three sixteen it reminds us that salvation begins with God's love. He provided what we could never provide for ourselves. Jesus came into the world, lived a sinless life, offered himself as a sacrifice for sin, and rose from the dead so that all who trust and follow him can receive eternal life. Long before Jesus came to earth, God promised redemption. Throughout the centuries, he continued to unfold his plan through prophets, promises, and providential events. And when the time was right, he fulfilled every detail through his Son Jesus. Salvation also transforms the present. Through Christ we can enjoy peace with God, confidence in his care, and the assurance that our lives have eternal purpose. The promise of salvation reminds us that God's love reaches everyone, and his invitation remains open to all who seek him. Because God is faithful to save, we can place our trust in him with confidence and celebrate the hope we have in Christ. Today, I invite you to stop for a few moments and thank God for his promise to save. Also, ask him to help to live each day with gratitude for the hope he gives us. Well thank you for listening to Because He is Faithful. If this podcast has encouraged you, please share it with others. I also invite you to subscribe so you are up to date with a new episode each week. Until next time, may God's faithfulness strengthen your heart, guide your steps, and fill you with love. And remember, in all things, we give God the glory.
