God is with us

Emmanuel means God is with us, God dwells among us, He tabernacles with us, and God has gone from being with His people in an actual tabernacle in the days of Moses to being in a fleshly tabernacle in the form of Jesus Christ to now dwelling inside of us through this Holy Spirit. The Father, Son, and Spirit come in and make their home within us. They come in and dine with us. And the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, the power of the Holy Spirit, which is God, third person of God, he lives inside of us as a believer, as a as a born-again Christian. There are no other types of Christians. If you're a Christian, you are born again. That's how it works. You can't be in the kingdom of God. You can't enter the kingdom of God without being born again, born from above. And so, yeah, we're all born disconnected from God because of the curse of sin that came on humanity on this earth through our great great ancestors Adam and Eve. And that curse has been broken, and we are that relationship has been restored through the perfect life of Jesus Christ. We need a perfect life to be in harmony with God. We aren't perfect. Jesus is, and it's through Jesus, and through the bridge of his life and his sacrifice that we're reconciled to the Father. Jesus is far more than that. He's a high great high priest and a and a and a great king and and the son of God and God himself. God is three and one. And so he's more than just away to the Father. God is it, God is who we're looking for, and God is triune. And so please don't miss out on that. The please don't miss out on on knowing God by thinking that you know better or thinking that science created everything. Science is a thing that's inside of creation, it's a word used to describe the human study of the things that God has made and their and their interactions with one another. Science is not a preeminent power that created creation, it's just as I mentioned, the human study of things that God has made in their interactions with one another. Praise Jesus. Alright, so I'm somewhat fresh from watching England go on, a great game. I say somewhat fresh, it was on at one two o'clock a kickoff here, which hasn't been the case traditionally in Australia. Most of the game's been at five, seven, eight, nine, early kind of early mornings, which has been really nice and refreshing. But no problems when England's in a knockout game in the World Cup, I should be there, Lord willing. And yeah, we're going to talk about that today. We're going to talk about, of course, Harry Kane. And but today was like something else for some reason. I don't know. It's like anyway, we'll get into it. We'll get into it. It's like it's dawning on me. Maybe it's dawning on YouTube. We have to keep reminding ourselves of this. Maybe it's partly because I don't know. I don't know. But it's like it's dawning on me in a new way that we've got ourselves one of those players that the other teams have. Norway has a Haaland, has an Mbappe, France has an Mbappe. Argentina has Messi, and we have Harry Kane. And we've got one. We've got one of those guys. And so, not that we haven't had before, but I don't know. I don't know. Have we had one really like Harry Kane? Have we had sort of world-class talented players? We have, we've had Wayne Rooney, we've had lots of other players. But this guy is just get he's just the best of the best. Like insane. Anyway, we'll get to it. We'll look at his stats and we'll also just have a chat about Harry Kane in general as a man, as a person. I haven't met the guy, I don't know the guy. It's purely going to be based on my impression and some snippets of information that I've gathered from listening to him and seeing footage of him, just what you see in the media through the prism of the television and other people's opinions of him that might come across him. But anyway, well I'll have a chat about him to the best of my ability. Disclaimer, disclaimer is that, and I've met the guy who would love to meet Harry Kane. He's only 32, interestingly. The talk is as if he's like 35, 36, but he's not, he's 32. And so Messi's going at 38. Harry Kane has never relied on his pace. And so, yeah, I mean, long may it continue. Next World Cup 36, not a problem when you easily, easily, one of the best strikers to have ever played the game. I think that's what's kind of arriving for Harry Kane at this tournament, in some ways, is this like yeah, he's got he's just that stature, that status, he's just that's where he's at. That's where he's at. He's just delivering again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again. And he's growing. There's as as Thomas Seekle said, he's getting better. There's more to come. He really is our talisman, our knight in shining armour. Yeah, he's just top. We've just got one, haven't we? I've talked in another podcast about Jude. Undoubtedly, Jude is world-class talent, and he's emerging onto that stage, and he's yet to sort of let's say solidify himself, but he's not far off. And also because I think there's other levels for Jude to go in his game, I think, wait till he's 28. I just think that can't, I just think, wow, just wait, like he'll he'll have phases to his game and his career in stages where he'll just be see the game in a different way, just the ball, I don't know, just he'll have other levels to it. It's not it's it's more like he can't really actually do any more than he's doing, it's more like he will adapt and grow with experience and time, and there's always a time for these things for him to grow into the fullness of the player will be. Well, what we've got in Harry Kane is kind of that happening in front of our eyes. Praise Jesus. Alright. Are we going straight into that straight away? Yeah, we are. So Yeah we are. Alright, so let's have a look. Harry Kane is at 188 centimetres. What is that in feet? Six foot one point six seven, so six one seven. Decent compitive stature there. Yeah, July twenty-eighth, nineteen ninety-three, thirty-two years old. Five goals in this World Cup so far, one behind, so six is the most. Messi's got a game in hand on everyone. But this, yeah, Mbappe six, Messi six, Harry Kane, five. Let's have a look at this. His career. So he started Leighton Orient, 18 games, five goals, then went to Spurs. Six goals, six games, one goal. On load to Millwall, 27 games, nine goals. Praise Jesus. Back to Spurs for a bit, one game, back out to Norwich, five games. Then went to Leicester. I didn't even know he went to Leicester from Leicester originally. From heaven, obviously, that's where we're that's where you're from when you saved. We're pilgrims here on earth in this foreign land. 14 games, two goals. Then he's back at Spurs, and he has in total 428 games and 279 goals. Then he gets his move to Bayern, where he's had 147 games, 146 goals. Slethal. Yeah, it's the Bundesliga, but he's not exactly been like average, has he? He's been absolutely prolific there in German football, and he's still been doing it in the Champions League, and he's doing it now in the World Cup. So all questions answered. All questions are being answered. If there are any remaining questions about Hurricane, I don't think there are, it's more so how many goals is he going to score in this game. Let's have a look at so this season, yeah. I heard Rio Ferdinand say this 72 goals, panic, but I I can see here 75 goals in total. Bundesliga, 31 games, 36 goals. Outrageous. Champions League 13 games, 14 goals. The Dutch, the sorry, the German Cups, 7 games, 11 goals, Club Friendly, 1 game, no goal. World Cup, 4 games, 5 goals, international friendlies, 2 games, 1 goal. World Cup qualification, 8 games, 8 goals. In total, 66 games, 75 goals this season. That's 1.36 goals per game per 90 minutes. And his goals per game ratio puts him in the 99th percentile, essentially top top dog. Top dog. Amazing stats. Amazing stats. Would be good to see left foot, right foot header. But anyway. That's okay. In the Bundesliga with 31 matches, he's had 119 shots. Which is four and a half shots a game. Shots on target 2.53. So he has two and a half shots a game on target. Pretty good. I mean, he's g one of those is gonna go in, which is which is more than what's happened. So mint. Great stats, great stats, great stats. Yeah, I mean, uh it's not you don't doubt him. It's more like him is an England fan, there's a sense of hope, hope. I hope that he hope that I hope that we win, I hope that he gets a goal. And it just keeps on happening. And so I haven't watched him that much because he's not been in the Premier League. And so I've kind of miss watching him. I've seen some footage of him in the German league, and you go, yeah, but I haven't watched it enough. I've just you just see the footage, but he is playing in a in another league. And so, yeah, you kind of miss that of miss watching him, and then so I've really got only had my eyes on him a bit of the Champions League, but in this World Cup, and obviously he loves playing for England. He loves playing for England, he's such a great professional, like great talisman. He's just like this perfect fit, isn't he, for the English team, the English FA, English football, Englishman. He's just he's just um he's got that royal like the royalty about him. It just and and so much credit to him as well. Like obviously, so we'll talk about his profession, his hard work, his dedication, he's humble, says the right thing. I mean, he's just he's just a great bloke. And also, what I'd say is it's 32 experience. What I've noticed in football a little bit over the years is when I watched as a kid, now maybe when I watch, but if you watch the footage back, a lot of players just look like blokes and dads, like they looked older than they actually were. Whereas now you see players and you think, I don't know if any of these boys can grow a beard if they tried. Whereas Harry Kane is has reached that manhood, he's well into his manhood. Yeah, he's a mature, he's a mature bloke at 32, and there's still more to come with him. Like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if you're still doing the business at 36, 37, 38, his game the way he handles himself, and you've got also you've got to take that number nine spot off him. If you're one of the other England players, obviously no one's no one's no one's trying to do that, everyone recognises you what you've got there, but essentially, if someone did want to become the English number nine, you've got to beat this bloke, and when it doesn't look like it's slowing down, and so praise God for that, praise Jesus. Obviously, if he's injured, we have a problem, but pray against that in Jesus' name, amen. And and yeah, so he's it's just we're very fortunate and very blessed to have Harry Kane as our captain in the team, and well done to him for using the most of his gifts and skills and talents. It's a decision, isn't it? Decision of the will to apply yourself and have the right attitude in life, in your professional career, and your dedication, all that good stuff. Looks like he just makes an enormous amount of correct decisions on repeat, again and again, on repeat, on repeat, and this is what you're seeing in it in it, and it's bearing incredible fruit in his career, when in the places and spaces where he wants it to the most. He's obviously also got to be patient and trust his team because he can't he can't go and get it like some other players and just make stuff happen. He's got he's in there to finish things off, and so he's got to be patient, which he is, and so he's got a lot of gr other great qualities that I admire as a captain. I loved his team talk with the huddle after the game, experience there, like he, you know, he's the leader, he's the he's the man. Jude Bellingham speaks, you know, spoke incredibly highly of it. Everybody speaks highly of him, basically. And so I really like what I see from Harry in terms of on the pitch, off the pitch, in interviews, the way he speaks, and also what I loved was the passion that came out in the celebration. First goal, yeah, always the case with Harry and Wellcoat, but the second goal, I was trying to keep a lid on the the volume because I've got neighbours. I did, but when that went in, I said the swear word, which which I shouldn't do as a Christian, but it's the first word began with an F, and the second one started with H. And it wasn't Harry, and those were the words that flew out of my mouth at the time, and I just got off my chair. Similar to Alan Sheila's volley against Everton at St. James's. Well, I just seen that one. I watched that one happen. I was like, a bomb just went off. That like he just hit like an absolute rocket, like a bomb went off when that. I was like, what just happened there? Like, couldn't have whacked it any harder with his full pelt commitment to it, and it put it just perfection in motion, bang. And Harry Kane's second goal for me was the same one. It was just like you couldn't, you can't get you can't get that. Was it full whack? Everything went into it. Wham o like he just was like, that's going in, that is going in the goal. That absolute desire and commitment. It's just like, no, that's going in. We're winning the game, football's coming home, get out of my way. I'm Harry Kane, it's my time, this is what I do. Bang, try and stop me. And that for me was like that was what was in that because he's humble and he knows he's mint, he just knows he's mint. Like, how many goals the scoring all those goals? You can't do that and not just walk around going, yeah, I'm pretty mint. And that's what a lot of these top players have, they just it just happens for them again and again and again, and that reinforcement over time is just gives this unbreakable confidence and certainty, and that's what we've got with Harry Kane. Even when he missed that penalty and uh retake, it's like those things where they don't go in, he just in his mind, I don't know, like good to find out. But I think he's just like, well, next one's in then, because it's like, wow, the next one's in then. So it's almost a celebration in some ways, because it's like, well, I'm not gonna miss two of those. I don't miss two of those, and so those things don't happen. So confidence, how that goes into how he strikes it and how he sees it. It all adds up and aggregates. I've been watching some of Johnny Wilkinson's videos on Instagram where he talks about like anyway, it's really insightful, and I love it actually. He talks about the strike, kicking the ball, he focused more so on the follow-through and the confidence in his step and his body, and getting an anyway. It's he's really insightful because he's because he's got a lot of kinesthetics and he's able to put words and dialogue to it and explain it, but it's a wonderful insight into how he approaches it, which certainly can be taken into other other sports. I mean, it's it's wonderful, and anyway, we saw that emotion with Harry Kane's strike. Yeah, I mean, the first goal,

firstly, also I'm gonna go on a bit of a riff here about the England team. Like, just well done to the England team, and well done to Anthony Gordon. Doesn't start well, doesn't let's say, or or could it could do better, but he's doing his thing, he has a certain way to play, he's efficient with it. He's he's quite consistent with it with his game. Anyway, comes on, assists two, and so just well done. Like, even the the second goal was like um, yeah, kind of had to get the ball back a little bit, played anyway, just what just well done, the right decisions, getting the balls into the best players, the right players in the right space of time, and just knowing knowing what we're doing. I think this team is growing in knowledge of one another as a team. Start, you know, everything that Thomas says, he says, I see it, I see this. So he's there with the guys all the time, seeing it, and and I think we've got a better team than some of the pundits out there might think. I think we've got a much better team than we've had in recent tournaments and recent years, and you s you sprinkle that with some outstanding players, world-class players, and then you you you don't need a lot else. You know, Greece didn't they win the Euros? I mean, I I think I was in another country at the time, overseas, and anyway, one of the tournaments that I missed for some reason. But that's an example. Now, obviously, France, why the reason why I think France are particularly dangerous is because I I I sense that they're a great team and they've got lots of world cast players. Doesn't mean they can't run into problems though, because they're human beings. Doesn't mean they can't run into problems, and we've got players that can give Any team a problem. Yes, I think there are some things, let's say, to sort out but we're growing and we and we and we got through, and so it's a massive win. There's no easy games, there's no free games in the World Cup. Everyone's going for it. So they've childhood dreams as football players and professionals to play, they're playing for the countries, it's going for full pelt, it's knockout world world cup football. It's like people are going to die out there on the pitch, and that's what you need. We went a goal down, it was a challenge. Great game. I loved it. It was just like it was on. You could just tell, wow, this is knockout. It matters, it's on the line. Hectic. I absolutely loved it. And we came through, we got another resort. It's going to give the boys so much confidence going into the Mexico game. I just think, I just think I think we I think we're growing in confidence. The more the tournament goes on, the more I think, the more we're we're a real handful. And it's one of those where you start to get into these rounds, and it could it games can go any way in terms of you can make a story, a story can be made, a journey can be made for any of these teams to go on a good run because that's where that's where we're in. We're in the we're in the business end of it, and I love it. I love it. And so, yeah, well done England. Yeah, well done England. I think the wingers and the subs there, like the interchanging with the left with the four players we've got on the wings, they're each coming on and doing their bit. You know, Marcus doesn't obviously doesn't want the tag of being better when he comes on, but it doesn't matter. We want to be everyone wants to stay in the tournament and go through, and when you've got that team focus really in really in the team and it and it's paying off for everybody, you can all celebrate together and stuff like that. Most people just want to find their place in things and where they belong and be part of be part of success. You know, Anthony's started a few sack has started one, so you know you don't really feel like these guys are going to feel like they're missing out. Nonimweke for me had his best game. He's growing in the tournament, very dangerous, better end product from him, more confidence, a bit more space to play as well. I liked his interview the other day, like the way he spoke, like his confidence. Praise Jesus. I think I think sometimes you could move him to the left and put Sack on the right. But anyway, Gordon got two, so what do I know? But anyway, I I think we're growing and we've got options. I just think we're growing in confidence. Each each time we get these tests, we answer them, and so what what what we've what we've done consistently is answer questions, questions that are asked to find a way to win. Yeah, you've got to do it against tougher opponents. But yeah, I'm just I'm confident, I'm I'm very positive about having a play, and I think yeah, I think Mexico are beatable. I'd be more worried about Norway than Hot than Brazil, to be honest. I think Norway are a great, a very good, solid team with again with a couple of standout players. Brazil for me, I think are very beatable, very beatable. Cunha, Ryan, Vinces Jr. is what is worldly, so that's that's it's just incredibly dangerous, and so that's fair enough. But Gimoresh, Casemiro, Paceta. I mean Paketar. I mean, I'm not honest with you, I'm not that worried about that. I'm not too worried about those, to be honest. And I think there's an immaturity there. I still think they're finding their place again as a nation, and so very beatable. I think they're very beatable. On the day, of course, they can rip a team up, but they're very also very beatable. Japan were unlucky, I thought. I don't think that's I think the same thing. If Brazil win that game, they're gonna grow in confidence. Norway at Norway, I think, a good stable team, and I think they're they're a very good team, they all they play together very well. Again, the team is good, and wouldn't be surprised if they beat Brazil. So, and then if we let's say we get through Mexico and then Norway or Brazil, we're in the semis, and that in which case, again, the growth in the team and the trajectory through then would be very high. You listen to top cast tennis players in a Grand Slam two-week tournament, they all talk about peaking towards the back end, they don't play the butt you know. Part of it comes with opponents, part of it comes with just growing in a tournament, it is a real thing. I'm not saying other teams aren't doing that, but I I could see real growth with the England team defensively. I agree with Gary Neville to an extent that and Wayne, sorry, Wayne Rooney as well. We were we look quite open. We were committing a lot of players, and we did look a little bit open, so you know it's a danger, but we'll see, we'll see how we go. I I actually like Deccan Rice at right back, I thought it's like Sabozalife Liverpool at right back. You just got a great player at right back who can see the game, play a pass, get forward. I mean, I I don't want to say, you know, I wouldn't I wouldn't I wouldn't be against playing him right back and then having Bellingham in the role he played against Panama and then the Rogers or Anese, something like that. Wouldn't be against it anyway. We've got options, and also what we're finding about today's game, five subs, the fluidity and the interchange you need to have within a game. That's how it works these days, that's just how it goes. That's that's part of modern football, part of modern football, and that's how it works, and so you've got to utilize everything, you've got to utilise the tools and the options that are available, get that balance right, try and get that balance right. And so, no, I'm very positive, very happy with it. It was great to get the win. And that second goal was like, I just loved it, absolutely loved it. Henri and Zlatan had a good chat about the strike, and they're talking about how difficult that strike is to get your your foot around it. You've got to be off balance as you're hitting it because you're basically putting your full body in it, you're gonna come off the floor. It's full, it's full-body commitment, full body commitment to get that power, to get that shot off. But it but yeah, I mean, that's Harry Kane for you. And so in the first goal, the movement, so there's a bit of space there. He's got to if you watch it when Gordon's got the ball, it's got its hand up already because he doesn't he knows he wants it dropped in there. The the timing of the ball from from Gordon, the little popped half folly, hangs in the air a bit, so it gives Harry a chance to make to make that movement. The space is there, he comes off the back of the forward and he kind of slightly curves his arc, curves himself around, uh run around. Now the the the defender's gonna feel like he's he's moving around to the left as opposed to just running straight forward and past him where he can grab his shirt. So he moves slightly out of distance, but he's still in his like he's still in the defender's sphere. So the defender is maybe do I go towards him because he's slightly to the left of me, whereas actually Harry's Harry's doing an arced run, very little a smaller arc run to get in front of him to get that half yard. So yeah, amazing. It's kind of understanding like shape and space and how that works, but yeah, brilliant. And the timing of it as well. If he goes too early, the guy might make his step and get in front of him, so he's got to anyway, perfect, perfect, perfect. And the second goal, if you watch it, he receives it, he's on, I think, slightly on the edge of the area, and he actually waits for the players to he kind of wait so you he'll just know instinctively know this timing over just years of repetition, but he waits for the players to come into him a bit and then he takes his touch. That's what gives him the space because the first the guy who's outside of him if he puts a foot in there, he might go down and get a penalty. So he he leaves him, puts his hands in the air, he's not going to touch him, and that space he gets is all he's need, all he needs to wrap his foot around it, and it's like the defender sort of dropped off again. It's part of the touch, it's like when they come into him, and anyway, it's it he just knows that it just knows it instinctively, it's like a spatial and yeah, it's just his own form of intelligence, basically. But he'll get that all day long, more often than not, because it's just like it's like it's the way things go, it's kind of the way things go in football. Yeah, he just know he just knows that he knows that instinctively perfectly, and so he just knows how to read and feel defenders' movement and where they go again over time. Like you watch a boxer who can dodge punches where like four, five, six, and it's like, how does he seem to know where that that boxer is throwing his next punch? He looked like a Lomachenko in the Matrix. If you Google that on YouTube, we'll put that on YouTube. Sorry, it it's it's just over time, he just knows and feels he just knows it's almost like he's at he's a second ahead. That's what Harry had with the second goal. Anyway, terrific strike, terrific strike.

Belgium, Belgium, Belgium

Next up is Belgium. Belgium. I once played a game of FIFA. Can't remember what year it was, it was back when I was at uni. Oh no, Pro Evo, yeah, Pro Evo Soccer, Pro Evolution. I think it was a England-Belgium game, can't remember, playing with my mate and the game stuck, and I can't remember the commentator is oh Martin Tyler. Anyway, it just he just said Belgium three times on repeat. Belgium. Belgium Belgium. Anyway, it was very funny at the time, but that's what I hear in my that's what I hear every time I s hear the word Belgium now. Anyway, I was watching that game and I was thinking to myself, they've just got nothing, have they Belgium? I was like, they've got nothing, like, they don't really, you know, like they're just a bit whatever. And then Lukaku comes on, and then they do that, and they get those three goals. And I thought, well, that's world football for you, that's international football, that's the World Cup, that's well done Belgium, is what I want to say there. So apologies, Belgium, for for not believing in you when watching that high those highlights. And well done to you in an incredible turnaround. Senegal looked dangerous, but they just didn't really know what hit them there, and yeah, couldn't recover. So well done. Well done to Belgium and Senegal are out.

USA Red card

Also, I saw today in the highlights the red card for USA. Well done to USA. Sort of pains me a little bit, for pains me a little bit. But credit where credit's due in the day. Credit where credit's due. I don't think Bosnia and Herzegov are a particular particularly great team, but they did the business the USA. So well done to the USA. They just play with an enormous amount of Pep. Not Pep Gordi, they just play with an enormous amount of Pep. And they kind of bring that US sports energy to the to the to the football team, and so well done to them. Well done to Poggettino, I like Poggettino. Yeah, that red card, I can't believe they sent him off for that. I mean, I I was watching as soon as you as soon as you go to the camera, the referee goes to the camera, you go, pretty much inevitable. He's gonna give it. I mean, when the lad's foot is on his ankle, the lad's head is down, he's he's driving forward to try and get the ball or do something with the ball, he's got absolutely no intention of doing that. It's just that's the way his foot landed, as the commentator said, his foot is searching for the floor, he hasn't lifted it up to rake anybody. That's just stupid, it's things like that where you go, guys. Complete where's the common sense just disappeared? Like, how can how can that referee, international referee, not just see that and go, that's just unfortunate that he's raked him there? That's where his foot's landed. Ouch, is everybody okay? Let's get some treatment and get on with the game. Red card. Like, hope they appeal that and it gets overturned. But you got the referee and the VAR. How many people? I'm like thinking, oh no, there's there's look how many people are involved in this terrible decision. Awful,

The evil eye

awful. Also, I saw for those that like I'd say conspiracy theory, but just call it what it is for the sake of a for an overly an over-description that's not necessary. Of course, the Illuminati is real and all these secret societies, blah blah blah. I've talked about all that. Still still still fleeing seven different different directions in the name of Jesus, and when Christ appears, so because Christ is his name, so his name goes before him. And so, but if but I saw the latest thing that I saw was that in the games where basically they show the bird's eye view of the pitch with the two flags and then the world globe in the middle. Essentially, that is if you look at it, the the the the country's flags is curved to look like the eye, like the all-seeing eye on the dollar bill, and the all-seeing eye, the Illuminati, tralala. It's a way for the Illuminati to say, This is our tournament, this is our sport. It's not, it belongs to God. It's a world game, it belongs to God. Praise Jesus, hallelujah. But that's a way for them to put a big sign in the sign in the and everyone's pla hidden in plain sight, which is their way of essentially remaining in the shadows and go, look, we're in the shadows, you guys don't know about this. And if anyone talks about it, we just call it conspiracy theory, and trella la, and we run the but they don't because God sees everything. There is no secret place other than your secret place with God. There is no there is nothing hidden from God's eyes, of course. And the the eyes that see everything are the eyes that made everything, and that's Jesus Christ, God Almighty. And so, yeah, just pray against any of that any of that nonsense, gobbledygook, silly witchcraft, sorcery, patheticness. Come against that in the name of Jesus Christ. It won't ruin the beautiful game, and yeah, God's ultimately not gonna let evil hands fall on our game. Yes, there is corruption in sport, chalala. We don't know the fullness of what's going on, but we know who the king is, and so amen. Praise Jesus. Alright, next up we've got we're looking forward to the Mexico game. I just want to talk about uh Eza. Eza and G. Bellingham, happy birthday, they had the birthday on the same day. So happy birthday to you guys. Got this thing about Eza. Obviously, he's a Christian, same as me, which is which is great, and he's very, you know, speaks out openly about his faith, praise Jesus. And yeah, he's someone who I'd like to kind of like I think there's more to come from him. Not that he's not doing incredibly well with his with his life and his career, I'm not saying that. I just think there's more to come from him. I see him as like I just see him as like more. There's just more. I just think I could I do see him as being like you know, like Cole Palmer's swagger and confidence, gimme the ball. I kind of think if Eze had that, a little bit more of that, yeah. I don't know. I just think he's obviously grateful to he's obviously super grateful and humble, grateful for the for the the Lord's reversal for him to go back to Arsenal, which is one prayer about and love that, and his hat-trick against Spurs, where he said, I basically prayed to God, give me a hat-trick, and it got a hat-trick. And and so, you know, and he's but also his trust and his faith in the Lord and his timing for everything is is is awesome. Like he's very he's got deep river of peace there, and I'd also just like him to for this is me speaking, and this is something that I talked to him about if I was talking to him, it is is like I don't know, like I don't know, like not shake him, but just like ask some ask some questions, challenge him in a really healthy way because I think he's coming into his peak at 28, and I just think there's like a you have to be a bit bit part player, like you can make that number 10. I just you can I think he'll be one of the world's best number 10s without a shadow of a doubt. Like he's got so much talent and ability, and he finds great spaces, and I think I think he has a footballing IQ and intelligence that also is like maybe not everyone around him can fully see and appreciate it, which which would be needed to an extent, but also he just has to have like a couple of outstanding moments for people to be like, Yeah, he's on it, God's lighting him up like a Christmas tree, give him the ball, and so you're like Jude Bellingham the the goal that Harry Kane ended up scoring, and so like praise Jesus for the way it worked out because I wanted to see that goal. I'm grateful that I saw it. But Jude Bellingham could have squared it to SA, you know. He and also he was there and he arrived in that space, and he was an option. So Jude Shared came back to to Gordon, Anthony Gordon, and the rest of his history. That's all she wrote. But he finds great pockets and spaces, and you watch him in training, so obviously fit as a fiddle and very athletic, he's got legs like just these outrageous pistons, like his legs and muscles, and his legs, his leg strength is enormous. He's got like dinosaur legs, like T-Rex legs, anyway. I uh it's one of those, obviously. I Tuco keeps bringing him on, so obviously likes him. I just think there's a moment for him, like like Manweke is growing into the growing into the tournament, he's feeling more established. I just think for me, Eze could establish himself there, or just come on with the still and just come on as a second, yeah, give me the another gimme the baller, because we've got Jude Bellingham there, who is like give me the ball at so and there's that relationship between the other players and him. I just think that could easily be Zay as well. Like he's that good. And I don't know how you would how you would try and get the best out of that. I'd have to sit down and speak to him. But it's also you could fire him up, like what what what can cheat not pee him off or cheese him off, but just something to get that like you know a bit more like yeah, I don't know, that there's there's more fire, there's more aggression, there's more dynamite, there's more I don't say anger, but in in in the right space and time and place, it's useful. And so yeah, like I don't know, I think there's more to come from him anyway. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus, and praise God that so many, so many Christians in the team that know that paying, praying for everyone, praying that God's will is done in and through the tournament, and praying for all the other players and the players safety, all that good stuff that's that's all wonderful and a blessing to us all in a tournament. England, Mexico at the Azteca World Cup. I mean, wow, it it for me. This is like I I this is for me so far, it's probably my favourite World Cup. But obviously, maybe the one you're in is always your favourite one, but I don't know, something about this World Cup for me. I'm just absolutely loving it, loving the games, loving the atmospheres, and yeah, Mexico, England, as tickets. So not even it's the round of 16 as well. It's like we're getting some great games, and there's more great games to come. So look forward to that match. No doubt. Lord willing, I'll do a podcast episode after that game or before. Who knows? I'll do it when the Lord tells me to do it. 10am, Monday, July the 6th. Might and I take the day off work. Who knows if the Lord gives me it? Not sure.
