Intro
SPEAKER_00Yeah, hi guys. Hope you're all well and welcome to episode. Episode I'm not entirely sure. It could be nine or ten. Could be nine or ten. Let's go ten. Episode ten. Season two of Football Eterno. It's been a great weekend. Great weekend here in the kingdom. England beats Norway 2-1. Shalala. That's not really what we're talking about in this episode. We're not talking about that in this episode. We're not going to talk about that in this episode. We're going to talk about Connor McGregor. This episode is titled MAC Attack. Mac Attack. Mac Attack is the title of this episode. And for those that don't know, Connor hurt his right knee and was unable to basically fight. And that was that. And there's a few schools of thought. One school of thought is he wasn't really that fit. Wasn't really that fit. And you know, it was all a money con, tr la la, I don't really buy that person needs. It wasn't fit. Oh, you know, da la. You know, just the the unlucky lens, right? Oh wow, like, what are the chances? What do you know? It reminds me a bit of Ronaldo coming back and then doing his right knee again after a year out. R9, Ronaldo. That can happen on people's journey. Anything can happen on people's journey. Lightning can strike 58 times if the Lord wills it. So it is what it is. It is what it is. Anyway, we'll go through we'll go through what I what my initi Yeah, we'll go through we'll go through it. So I saw an interview with Connor Ariel Hawani show and yeah, I could my strong sense was that he was born again. Born again and on his way. On his way, basically. On his way. On his way with the Lord. It's a long walk with the Lord in a beautiful way, it goes for eternity. And but yeah, on his way. And just in that, like, yeah. And then when I saw him at the at the press conference, I was like, okay, he's just getting more and more outspoken about the Lord Jesus. About the Lord Jesus. Like initially in the press conference, he was saying, like, you know, the um I'm connected to a high power. Then he said God. And then someone asked him a direct question. He said, My Lord Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Because I was saying to I was saying under my breath, if you like, I was saying, just say Jesus, please, mate. Like people go, Oh, praise that this person said God, and I'm like, Yeah, but we want to hear the name of Jesus. We want to hear the name of Jesus. Just echoing through all the doorways and realms, and all through all the walls that exist, any wall, everywhere, just echoing through that space-time for eternity. That's what we want. And yeah, I was like, okay, here we go. Like, light of fire in him. Let's go. And yeah, praise Jesus. And so I was very excited by that. The spirit in me, I was um, my spirit was revved up. I was super revved. And come the fire, I was a little bit nervous for him because yeah, I just sensed like I don't know, something different about him, which yeah, I sense something different about him. Since he was a little bit nervous, there was a big breath of whoo like just before he went to go in and do the touch gloves. And you gotta think, like he's been it he is also you know, a human being on a journey, five years out. It was all there. Now I believe him, I believe him. Like he's he says confidence, but he's believing that he's on another level, and I I truly felt like the Lord was gonna give him the victory, he'd given him the victory, and there was like a nervous excitement because it would have been it would have been a great moment in terms of like yeah, that restoration, the you know, the Lord giving you a double portion, Lord gives a double portion instead of shame, he gives a double portion and that kind of stuff, and so yeah, because he would I knew he I know he would have had by that point, he would have had the power to just proclaim whatever he would have proclaimed on the microphone. Now, obviously, during the fight week and all that kind of stuff, the the world, press media, I'm not gonna isolate it, it comes through, just seeps through everything. It's like cheese grater, it's like the you put the world against the cheese grater, it's all it's all the world coming out, and the world is an enmity to God, the world hates Jesus and crucified him. And it the world has many windows in it, like when you're looking, you know, at the inside of a cheese grater, but the the the world just pours out through, you know, world the world is what comes through those windows, basically. Whatever which way you slice it, whatever kind of cheese it is, if you know what I mean. I hope you get what I'm saying. And just checking I was recording. And there was Eric Hawani tried to talk to him about money and what's he getting, and he kind of kind of answered, but he could tell he was a bit like you could tell he was spirit was at work and him, it was convicting him, it was grievous, grieving, didn't he was like, oh no, don't really again he's early in his walk, so you know, relatively right, and so just could tell he was like dunno, uncomfortable, just not not the same. It was like it wasn't the same con art, not the same connoisseur a new creation, and he's getting more of the the words, the Lord's word in his mouth, especially in the press, the the main press conference where he was like, I'm more than a conqueror, I don't under either live that Christ lives in me. That's true, that's true, and yeah, that's true, and there's fine lines, there's fine lines with these things because the world will want to draw out. The world's like, yeah, we do yeah, great, but we just we want the old Connor and lay traps, right? Like, lay traps, the press conference, just the usual, like oh, what do you say to Max who says he's gonna do this? And just trying to draw Connor out into this, and it it wasn't quite the same. He sang Wonder Wall. It was you could tell he was a bit like I don't know, just a bit like not still trying to find his place, and you throw in you throw in something like that in in Connor's life, and it's like it's a lot to take in when you're on when you're you know, like being blown away by the amazingness of the the revelation of Jesus Christ in your life for sure. Because there was a moment where they're again in the press conference, the main press conference, where someone saying something's like I just feel God, like you can just tell he's just you know just being bathed in light, and then they've got a microphone, he's got and then he do his role here, do his role there. So you you leave him alone if he's left alone for five years. Hypothetically, he might not either be there at all or he's just like you know, whoever in that crowd is is is a witch or a freemason is just either either screeching or leaving the room or on fight, you know, like that's the kind of point where where you get to in terms of progress of making the Lord. Anyway, the fight was
This is where it gets interesting - Take 1
SPEAKER_00where it was at now. This is where it gets interesting because one take on it, one take in it which I've seen is that even though he's proclaiming Jesus and stuff like that, he's still working for the you know the Illuminati ta ta ta ta ta, those boys, the enemy, basically, whatever you want to dress it up, and that it was he's just saying, you know, like oh he's just trying to tax Christians, basically, and be like, yeah, and the whole thing was meant to be some sort of charade where you left totally like what and then you're like oh and you got that feeling where you're like you've just been taken on an energetic joy ride, basically, paid some money, just all the oh you day like distracted, built up, and then poof, and then that in itself is a is a way for the enemy to say, look what look what we're doing here, folks. I talked about this in my previous podcast, talked about this in my previous podcast called Idolatry. That's one take, and that Connor was just acting, completely acting in in that. And the explanate part of the explanation there would be that when you're in that club, this is this is what I've heard explained as again. This is this is one take on it. They do this, like you don't really you often have to go through they they do what they want with you publicly because you're secretly you're progressing in secret, and that's actually what you want, and you might you know get up again somewhere else, but that's not the main thing. So they they might like a humiliation ritual, was what it was called. So for him to progress, he has to go through this, basically just take take a knee to um Satan, essentially, and be like, yeah, mate, even though he might, you know, what he what he's what they've actually got him wanting isn't victory in the octagon, it's whatever, whatever, whatever's next in terms of like that progress in that world, in that domain. And uh he has to do that basically as a sacrifice. That's one take
That kick - Take 2
SPEAKER_00on it. Another take on it is that he is he is he has been born again, and the enemy got in his got in his mind and got in him to do this, to do that kick and just he was genuinely, let's say, genuinely nervous enough because it was actual like you know, like yeah, maybe in a great way because he wants to proclaim the Lord, he wants he felt like the Lord giving him the victory, uh like loads of loads of stuff like that. And actually, now either that seed has been sown through somewhere, like it could be pride, could be pride, like I'm gonna show the world that my leg's fine, I'm gonna go and do this kick with the no one's expecting it, which could be a form of pride. Amazingly, you he tried it again a second time, it's like well, what about that, mate? So it's almost like the foot, whatever happened the first time, it just he was gone, like that was it, lost it. Tries it again, your mind would be racing at that point. Like you wouldn't even remember, like, but just what? No way. Like, no way. But the fact that he does the kick is the I'll go and go with that angle, I'm gonna go with that take on it. Is that a enemy seed was sown that came to the fore. Another another way that could be sown is someone, someone around him saying, Oh look, no, here's an idea. Why don't you do this? Why don't you do this? Basically, like a tactic. Another way it could be sown is somebody at some point in his, let's say, is um is uh uh that's been placed either someone's someone's be a witch sorcerer, some some someone at the warlock, something like that, someone who's into the sorcery and witchcraft. It's touched him, shaking his hand, placed just placed that around him so it's not even necessarily gone into his brain consciously. And then come the moment there's the idea almost hatched as if like, what was he thinking? Right, if he's thinking, what was I thinking, why did I do that? Like, if he's genuinely thinking that, then that would be like, well, probably the enemy stuck that one there, mate, and there's a sp there was a fair bit of foul play, hocus pocus buggery going on, basically, and witchcraft and ceremonies to for that to happen, then it's for need is need to go. Because that's if you if you if that shocks you in any way that that might exist at A might happen or might work, then by all means, by all means like think whatever you like, but 100% that is absolutely anything but far-fetched. Anything but far-fetched. Unfortunately, however you want to look at it, that's anything but far-fetched. Someone could have someone could have made that spell, shook his hand, done you know, that's that's been spell's been cast, this person just needs to touch him in a certain way, say something, bam, bam, bam, posh. Look in his eyes and say, kick him out. Any whatever it is, whatever was being packaged up, and he's like, Yeah, cheers, thanks. And then that's that's um, there's a chance that that's done. See, these things aren't, you know, the Lord, the Lord Jesus takes care of these things, no problems. He our question would be, did he have enough spiritual protection? Did he have enough, did he have you know businesses that operate in the kingdom would have like intercessors, you know, prayer teams, loads of stuff like that going on. Not because it'd be pride not to, and so we're gonna watch out for pride either way. It could be pride to have it, God look at me, I need all these prayer teams, it could be pride not to either way, like the Lord will lead you. But for example, with Connor, you'd say, Yeah, mate, look, let's get some prayer going, let's just come against any form of sorcery and witchcraft or anything like that. So speaking to Connor, let's say Connor again was zip born again, doesn't really know what's going on, is is in a is in a is in is feeling heartbroken, is wondering what's going on. I mean, I my sense of I felt I I I felt I felt sad for him. I felt there was a moment in the ring where he puts his hands in his head and I kind of was like the um the the empatheticness of me was like yeah, so again, if that's acting, you know, no worries, I'm I'm off and about my day. If it's not, then yeah, you'd be like, Yeah, you know, because he is
My sense & Take 3 - God did it?
SPEAKER_00he is yeah, my sense he's a genuine gen, he's a genuine bloke and he's just you know done done his best with his life. He's got incredible god-given ability to do something in this in this in the sport and with his life for sure, and so he's it's finding that finding his place with it. I felt like the Lord was gonna give him that fight and and see where it goes. Another angle is that the Lord actually does not want him anywhere near the U of C ever again at all. And the Lord um made sure that that that that that that happened in because the Lord can do that, that's if the Lord made space and time in mountains and seas, and so if he wants to he wants to injure Connor in the first minute, no worries. Now you might say, well, why would the Lord do that? Connor's just been bigging the Lord up for like how much more is he, you know, the guards how much more could he be proclaiming God? Doesn't that make God look silly or foolish, or that he doesn't look after his people and that kind of stuff? No, is the answer to that one to that if that to that question, no, because the Lord's the Lord's kingdom and his goals and his plans are not are not in danger, they're not they're not threatened, they're not in danger, he's the creator, everything else is created, including the enemy, you know, they're all created. You can't swing, you can't catch the creator on the chin if you're created like you can't do it, you can't do it, it doesn't make it, it's not it's completely illogical, right? It's illogical. And if you're all powerful, all seeing, all knowing, you existed before time, space, and matter, and before heaven and the earth was created, and all that are in it, all that dwell in it, then you know, yeah, you you're you're around a long time before anything could ever punch anything, basically. So you're all good. And it could be that he wants he's doing the mighty works and he doesn't really care about the UFC, uh Connor's genuine UFC, he's just interested in bringing Connor closer and closer to him, and if and if Connor has to break something off Connor in that fight by saying, mate, you can't I don't to to bring Connor to like I've just been I'm Conor McGregor and I've just been humiliated or this humiliating. It's like no, I promise you the Lord will use the Lord will do any anything to bring his children close to him. With his children, the Israelites, famines, um pestilence, um disease, like what to what to bring him close to him? Doesn't that sound a bit weird? Not when you know your God and that's the best place for you, and his ways are his ways, and he can he does whatever he likes, and it's all good. Like it's us for us to come to understand why work out how is so amazing. So for me, in
Brokeness
SPEAKER_00that moment, that could be one of the most beautiful moments between Connor and God, post you know, when Connor gets to where he is with the Lord, that that Connor Connor might be like, I thought I I I could bathe in the presence of the Lord before, then that he might be like, Lord, I'm just broken before him. In that brokenness, in all of that, because he's a you know, you could tell for me he just wanted to sob. He wanted to sob. I almost wanted to sob with him, to be honest with you. It was that was what it was like. But in that in that brokenness, you go, that's where everything else just goes, disappears, and Jesus remains. And it's you and Jesus, and you're like, wow, I am I've just got nothing matters, I've got nothing, I've got nothing, got nothing, nothing to offer you, nothing to say. Smash to pieces. I thought I I thought I knew you you're doing this, I thought I knew this, I thought this, and you've just gone because you want me to you want me to know you more, you just want me to see you rightly, you want, and and because that doesn't matter. Doesn't matter, doesn't matter. And you know, I was text messaged someone earlier and said the Lord might be like Connor, I want you to be a parish, a pastor in your local parish, and I want you to just work in wherever it is that he worked that he lives, and just do that and have a quiet life, and you know, like whatever the Lord wants to do, the Lord will do it, and praise God, praise God for that, praise God that we can't, you know, get in the way, just mess it all up. And so part of me would be like, again, because the world will look
The cross & the upside-down world
SPEAKER_00at that and say, This is the thing, the world looked at Jesus on the cross and said, Why can't you save yourself, mate? You're supposed to be the you're supposed to be the Messiah, you're saving all Jews, but you can't even get yourself down off a cross and you've been whipped. Well, no, because he was doing what he wanted. That's what he that was his path, that was the way he saved everybody, including those that did that to him, by dying for everybody's sins. And so the world looks at that and thinks, hang on a minute, that's not this great king. Again, Jesus came to serve and lowered himself, humbled himself. Nazareth, Nazareth in the back in the day was like you know, an S-hole of a town. It was like that's why Daniel and Nathaniel in the Bible says that anything good come out of Nazareth. It's not like you're joking and besides that's the point, it's upside down, it looks upside down to the world's eyes, right? Born in a manger. Well, surely a king would be in a palace. In the world, the way the world does it, it's reversed. He does have a palace in Jerusalem and all that kind of stuff, but in the world which is fallen, it looks like that because also it shows his nature and his love and his character, not look at me, I'm in a palace, tralal, I'm up myself. He doesn't need to do that, he already is amazing and beautiful, like he is those things. It's not, it's not, it's not make-believe, it's not a production, it is all I think. So in it's not, he doesn't have any doubt, there's no self-doubt, just doesn't have self-doubt, God doesn't have self-doubt. Literally is a cannot has never had a beginning, and he is the one, the eternal one, he is the eternal king. There's no self-doubt. And so that kind of that true power doesn't need to is it is is he hums with it, he doesn't have to he's not on his way to achieving power and greatness. He is great, he's always ever been that, he hasn't started and grown into, he is, he's always been that way. He is, he is, he is what he is, he is who he is. And so for him to come down and do that shows us that someone who's so high and mighty, to also look at his character and his nature, he stoops so low to pick us all up, to gather us all up from how fallen the world is, he must come all the way down to a man. Right. The story of the stor the true story of Jesus, again, however you keep looking at it, it just gets more it just gets more and more breathtaking, breathtaking, deeper. Just the depths of the depths of it in your soul are just like Echoes for like eternity. It's so wonderful. And so you know, he he he knows he knows all of our you know knows what it's like to have you know like a bogey. And it's weird because you're like, well, it's got but like you've got it as like that should blow you away. Like he lived, he lived, you know, had a scab on his elbow. Do you know what I mean? Like maybe picked it, and his mum said, Don't pick your scabs, you know. It's like all of that stuff, he knows that's to show us that how much he knows us. Now he would know that anyway. And he came and did it, right? Lived as one of us, like one of us, because he's saying he's saying you're one, you're we're in the same family, and like we're in the same family, we're family. Now we're not what we're not mini gods, we're not little g gods, we're children, like that. You don't want to be anything other than what you actually are, because the truth of your identity and what you actually are, which is salute it praise God blissfully, a continuing journey for me. I just have tasted enough to know that you want more of it, as that continues to be explained and revealed and experienced and revealed. I just you just want the truth, guys, the truth, the truth, the real truth, so oh, it's just because it's him, it's it all comes from him. Who you are, how you were made, how loved you are, what your part is it, what your plan is, and is uh what his plan is for you. That from him, because he is the truth. You receive him, you receive the the truths of things, all of it. It's so it's nothing better than that. You don't want you don't want there isn't a nice lie, there is no white lies, there's no it's impossible, there's just the truth that sets you free. So wonderful. And so do you understand the kind of power that it takes to not sin in thought against someone who's put you hear about what he what he took in you know the passion of the Christ, genitals ripped off, spat at, like the the level of public denigration, humiliation towards him in the shame, he took all of our sh that's taking all of our shame and to he didn't sin in thought, like didn't sin in thought, like we can't do that, can we? And if anyone can ever get anywhere near doing that, it's only because Christ's light shining through them, like that's that's the truth and reality of it. Amen. Praise Jesus, and so that is that's a king that comes and does that for his people, it's pure service. So the role of a king is service, service, praise Jesus, and so yeah, pray for Connor. I just pray for him and his family. If it was an all-on-act, which I don't believe it is, and I of course I pray for him like pray for anyone, any human soul that's caught up in that that darkness, that the depths of that darkness, and what it must be like, the horrors of that, horrors of it. And for those that have almost lost their consciousness have been seared, where they're I don't know, they would know those that are saved from that would know that they were gone in the sense that they were like so far gone, you know, their conscience had been seared, and God will God will allow people to just like let let them go off into their own lawlessness and deeper, you know what I mean, just to be like alright. You want to try that road? Like he's he's he's uh a father in the way that like um it'd be so hard for us to make that call and get it right because we've got some mixed emotions, like could you actually let your children do that and then love them at the same time and then you know it's just like it's it's uh say it's on another level is it's it's it's it's it's ridiculous. Like we we can only dream of not only dream that's the wrong word, we can um to know him more, to know him more is just raindrops of like breathtaking, soul shattering, illuminating greatness and wonder that you would just wait on the f on the floor if someone could say I guarantee another 12 droplets will come in the next three days. You're like okay. Well I know there's 12 coming here, so I'll stay here, I'll take this one because I've just getting guaranteed 12 droplets. Of the Lord's grace and mercy, and all that he is just dripping on me. Praise Jesus. And so, yeah, yeah, do you know what I mean? And so the only way, the only way to know would be obviously, you know, my senses in the spirit is that he's he's heartbroken, and the Lord doesn't
No where else to go
SPEAKER_00does a great thing because uh the Lord loves a broken and contrite spirit because it's just you just kneel before him, there's nowhere else to go. And it's the best place to be. So what if Connor had won? Would he have would he where could that what would the world have done? Where could he oh Connor is out on the Raz? Come and fight another one. I have to do it all over again. Whereas where would he be now? Well, he's right at the feet of Jesus where he needs to be, praise Jesus. And again, we don't know the Lord, the Lord. I prayed that Connor's arm would be raised, and I prayed I yielded and said, What do I know? Your will be done, Lord, and so amen. The best the best thing I can pray for is the Lord's will to be done. Because if that is done in every single situation, then that's the best moment, that's the best thing that can happen in time and space and matter with matter any at any juncture of any time in history. Right, that's it. That's it. And so, yeah. Yeah, interesting though, isn't it? Very interesting. I'm sure there'll be lots of thoughts and ideas and stuff out there. I'm gonna sign off now and chill for a bit. Just say you know, in case you're thinking, what does Andy do after his podcast? After this one, I'm gonna watch some medieval kingship nights and stuff like that. Something on SPS called Kings and Conqueror, something like that. And I'm interested in the reaction from Thomas Tuchel and the players. I've got another I've seen another clip of Jude being told that Thomas but he actually was quite upset. I wonder how it was framed to Jude. Anyway, I don't mind a bit of that. Let's not get carried like yeah, in the semis, and I quite like the let's not get carried awayness of Thomas Tuchel's response or how he seemed to be after the game because he's like, You could be able to party, there ain't no John Stones ain't doing that shoulder thing in this in that changer room, I tell you that much. Thomas he's ripping into them. I'm like, yeah, mate, go wild because this is where this is where we've been getting to, isn't it? We want to go the next bit, and so yeah, I like the look of that, and we'll see, we'll see what happens,
Close
SPEAKER_00obviously. Alright, guys, thanks for tuning in. And um, yeah, I hope you're well, hope you're well, your loved ones as well, your family's well. I hope you know, I hope you know Jesus, hope you know Jesus, I hope you continue to know Jesus if you don't know Jesus, of course. Hope you know Jesus, hope you know Jesus. In a positive way, because the Bible says that every knee shall bow to Jesus, and what he's saying in that is that some knees will bow to him because well, every knee will bow to him because he is who he is, and s some of those knees will be, oh Lord, wow, and others will be like, Oh no, you know, so I hope you're bowing to him because you're you already know, you knew before then that he was who he was, and he was your Lord, King and your saviour, and that he rules your life, he lives he lives in your heart, and he lives there, and he and his light and his love just like an atom bomb throughout all your body, your mind, your heart, your spirit, your soul, and it just covers the world covers the planet around you a thousand times. Alright, guys, chat for that.
