Hello, hello. Welcome back to the Hotter Than You podcast. I'm your host, Leah Hotter. How are we doing today? Happy 3rd of July. What are your guys' happ 4th of July plans? I need to know what you guys are doing for the 4th of July. Are you guys boating? Are you guys getting hammered? Are you guys like, what are you doing? I like what do people do on 4th of July that aren't wealthy? Like, honestly, going to the beach. And like the beach is not even the vibe anymore because it's so fucking busy there. Like, I don't even feel safe bringing my kids to the beach because it's so crowded. It's so crazy. All the teenagers are running around. Wow, Leah, you're like really getting old. Because I was once one of those teenagers running around. Okay, acting a fool. Alright, but here we are. So we'll get into that. So I just got back from working out. I just did a hit workout. And let me tell you, I feel like I'm finally in the groove of like working out every day indefinitely. I really hope it sticks this time. Do you guys do that? Do you guys like stick with something for a couple weeks or a couple months and then you like stop and then you like never do it again? Why do I do that with everything? Why the fuck do I do that with everything? I see all these girls that work out like every day for years and years and years, and I'm like, that's never been me. I have never been consistent with anything in my goddamn life like that. Okay, and being obsessed with something like working out or just simply having it a part of your like daily routine is so healthy. It's so good for your mind, like, especially if you're a mom. And I I always feel bad saying that, like, oh, especially if you're a mom. But us moms, we really do need extra, like, self-care, okay? And for us, extra is probably your guys is just normal. But we have to like prioritize it more because there's just more going on in our lives. Naturally, our schedules are more full. I mean, I don't know. Your schedule might be more full than mine, but we just have more distractions. More distractions, okay? We do. Okay, who's watching the kids when I work out? Where are they? Fuck if I know. Um, okay, so yes, I did a hit workout. And I wore a bra that I should not have worn because my boobies were literally about to knock my ass out and everybody else in that workout out. Okay, it was like one of those, like almost like this, the one I'm wearing, like not supportive. So what I've realized as well, I don't think my whole life I've been a size small in everything. Size small. I'm a small person. I'm not like petite, like I have been pretty skinny, but I'm not like I'm just a small human, if that makes sense. I got some knockers on me and I got some booty on me. But I'm small, and I've always been a size small. When I moved to St. Joe, I believe I was 115, 120 pounds, and I just weighed myself. Guess how much? Guess how much I weigh? 143 pounds. Oh, bitch. And for a small person to gain 20 pounds, it's a lot. So I need to come to terms with the fact that I think I'm a size medium now. Okay, I've never been in a size medium, which nothing against size medium, but like I have to buy all new clothes now. Because look, I'm pretty sure this is a size small. This isn't unwell. I'm still gonna wear it though. So, yes, um, getting into the routine of working out, um, I've been really hungry. I've been eating like a fat cow. And like literally, when I just got home, when I just got home, guess what I ate? I had two enchiladas. Who the fuck eats enchiladas at 10 a.m.? Me. R.I.P. me. R.I.P. my stomach, R.I.P. my toilet. Okay, I need a fucking plumber on speed dial because my body can't handle that. I can't go do 45 minutes of hit and then eat two enchiladas at 10 in the morning. Lord have mercy on my soul. Call Mario. Mario and Luigi, aren't they plumbers? I need a drink of water already because that hit workout fucked me up. So I didn't realize when you actually sit down and like talk this much how dry your mouth gets. So this one's instantaneous. But I'm drinking this like ice. I love these little like sparkling water drinks. So good. It's actually giving me life. So I want to talk to you guys a little bit about dating because I went out with a boy over the weekend and I had a lot of fun. He's a cool guy, he's super cute. But I'm coming to the realization, I've had this realization, that I just don't give a fuck about men right now. Like almost to the point where it's sociopathic. Like I just don't care about them. Like I I do care, like I feel like but I just don't at the same time. It's like that deep. So for me right now, I'm just trying to keep dating, I'm quoting that, healthy because and like kind of in my life, because I feel like if I truly fall off and like do not talk to men at all for like a significant amount of time, I'll never want to again. And I'm I don't want to get to that point because I've seen it happen with women where they never like they never go back because they're just so content and happy with themselves and the peace that being single brings. And they don't want to go back to the to the life of like having a man around because let's be honest, I love sleeping by myself. Okay. Unless it's the right one. Okay. I like to sleep by myself because I like to fart in my sleep, I like to sweat in my sleep, I like to I like to just like have my own space. And like if a man's around, like they're like in the same room, breathing, also sweating, also farting. Like, there can't be two of us. Like, that's nasty. Like, I'm at least cute when I do it, you know? I'm like a cute little girl, like having a little toot. Like, no, I don't need a grown ass, sweaty man in my bed and then like moving around and waking me up. Like, get out of here, go sleep on the floor. Go sleep on the fucking floor. So, yeah, so I went out with a boy, and this is how it started. So last week I went out with my friend, okay. Lord have mercy. Um, so it's the beginning of summer. So in the beginning of summer, when we're coming out of like winter, where we're like depressed as fuck and suicidal all goddamn winter, you kind of get like a burst of excitement. Like you want to go out every weekend because it's nice out. Like have a cocktail, listen to live music, like it's a vibe. But I've taken it too far. Okay, I have, and I'm kind of ready to like slow down a little bit. But last weekend, my friend and I went out and we I took it a little too far. I definitely did, and I drank too much, but I had fun, okay. And we saw this group of guys at the bar, and I was like talking so much shit to them. It's so fun to get drunk and talk shit to men. It's truly one of my passions. I need to put it in my bio that I like to talk shit about men when I'm drunk. Actually, anytime. And there was a group of them, and I was like, Are you guys married? And they were like, Yeah, but they were like buying us drinks. So I was like, Ew, you guys are married and you're buying girls drinks. That's disgusting. What the fuck? Like, am I am I in I in elementary school? Like, I'm literally bullying them right to their face. And then they had the audacity the next day to message me and say, hey, let me know if you're in Chicago again soon. Um, no, you're fucking married, and I was roasting you about that. This is why I don't like men. Okay? Anyways, there was that group of guys, and then there was another guy that I kind of knew, and he was like, That's the hottest thing I've ever seen. And that's the energy I needed in my life because I'm not like shrinking. Like, if I want to I'm just gonna do what I want to do, and if a guy's like you by that, then get go like there go back to your kennel. Get in your kennel, honey. Like, bye. So I yeah, I was like booing them, and then I immediately just walked over to this guy that I kinda knew, and I just started making out with him. Like, literally immediately. I turn around from pointing and I just go make out with this guy. And so I end up he ends up taking me home, okay? And he takes me home. Not in a car. Not in a car, not in a truck, not in a isn't that a book? I don't know. He takes me home on an e-bike. Okay, so I'm so hammered. I'm literally, I'm like straddling, like I'm I'm in front of him and like straddling him. Okay, so he's holding the handlebars and my legs are like wrapped around him, and I'm leaned back on the handlebars. Like he said pretty much at one point it was like my my dead weight. Like I was like this, like passed out on the e-bike. Like, I don't think you guys, if you've never rode on an e-bike, like they're not a joke, like they are really fast, they are really fast, and if we would have crashed, or like my dead weight, if I would have fallen over, I would have been very injured because one, the e-bike is fast, two, I'm thick, okay, thick in the right places, and three, he would have fallen on top of me, and I it just could have been a disaster. And we both had anxiety the next day because I think that was just a bad choice. But here's the thing: I'm young, and yes, I do need to make right choices because I'm a mother, but my angels are with me, okay. My angels always protect me and they make sure I get home safe, and we got home safe, so there's that, okay. But it's also like Leo, what the fuck are you doing with your life? Um, please, please help me. I wanna know, please, please, please tell me your guys' first date, like horror stories. I wanna know the good, the bad, the ugly. I wanna know everything. Tell me the tea, tell me the drama. I'll tell you another story here. So comment your guys' horrible dating stories. I wanna know. I want to hear about them because it'll make me feel better. It will. And I think mine will make you feel better too. So another one that happened to me over the winter was I went to Silver Beach Pizza with a boy. And I drank too much, which, like, you know, that happens, right? So we were sitting at the bar, and I was just so drunk that I was like kind of all over him, like lucky boy, right? I was all over him, and I was like hanging on him, kind of like touching him, like caressing him, and it's just embarrassing. So I know a couple of the girls that work at Silver Beach Pizza, and I saw them the following weekend there, and they came up to me and were like, Hey, Leah, I saw you had fun here last weekend. And I was like, Oh, like I don't remember seeing you, but like I was pretty drunk, so you know, maybe I just don't remember. And she was like, No, like there's video of it, like there's security cameras of you all over the sky, and people were recording it, and I was like, Oh, really? Oh, really? Pull it up, pull it up on the phone. I want to see this shit. Like, literally show me right now. So she pulls up the video, and you know, it wasn't AI. I can only blame AI so much. It was me and this boy, and I was all literally all over him. Like, I have the video on my phone, and I'm like all over him touching him, and then you can see other employees also recording it, and their reactions to this video. Okay. What the fuck? What are you doing? What are you doing with your life? Um, yeah, so like everybody like was watching my security footage of me all over this guy reacting to it, and I sent it to him because I don't give a fuck. And I was like, OMG, look at us. He's like, that's all you. That's all you, homie. And I was like, hmm, yeah, you're you're the lucky one though. God, I've humiliated myself more times than I can count. And we're just, it's just a learning process, you know. So yeah, I want to hear your guys' dating stories. Tell me all the juicy shit. I want to know, I want to know the worst dating experience you've ever had. Okay, comment below. Okay. So when you're listening to this, it's gonna be the 3rd of July. Okay, let's have some Toby Keith bumping on the stereo. It's 4th of July. It's Independence Day tomorrow, guys. I, to be honest with you, haven't done shit in probably 10 years on the 4th of July. Okay, especially since I had kids. Because becoming a mom completely derails everything. It derails everything. You can't do the shit you used to do. You can't just jump on a boat with a new I mean you can, but like it's just there's a different dynamic to it because you're you know, it's it's kind of dangerous, one. Like if that boat goes, anything happens to the boat, the baby can't swim. I mean, you can hold the baby. I don't know. You have intrusive thoughts, okay, when you're postpartum, so you just don't want to do shit. Um, my son was born on the first of July, three years ago. So his birthday is a couple days ago when you're listening to this. My Brooksie's three. Oh my god, he's my little baby. Stop! I actually can't even think about that right now. Him turning three, it's too much. Um, so when you're listening to this, mommy finally decided to make plans after six years of being a mom, pretty much. And I'm bringing my babies up to Mackinac Island. We're actually staying off of Mackinac, um, not on the island, but it's like we're gonna stay in a little cabin that's like 10 minutes from the ferries. You guys, I found this little cabin on Airbnb like a month ago, so I guarantee somebody booked it and then canceled canceled it last minute because as all five star reviews, and it says like rare find. You know that I love rare shit. Okay. It says rare find and it's like this cute little cabin on the lake, and there's kayaks, it has like a little bit of land, um, and it's like decorated, like patriotic. Please stop. Like, I'm actually so excited. I'm going with their daddy. I'm going up there with my their daddy because I don't know. I've never done like a road trip alone with two kids. And when I'm with him, he does all the work, so it's kind of like a vacation for me. Change, change your diapers, change his diaper. Like, I'm not doing it. I'm not changing a single diaper. Um, I'm not putting them to bed. No, I'll be there, but I'm not doing it. And I just want my kids to have a classic 90s vibe, 4th of July this year. Okay, they're kind of finally at that age where they're bigger. My son's about to be out of diapers. I'm in the process of potty training, okay? When their asses are out of diapers, it's gonna be a whole new era for me. Okay? You think I'm like, I'm a boss now? Shit. When that baby is out of diapers, you guys have no idea. It's like a whole nother, it's like a whole nother world of motherhood. When your kids are out of diapers, they're off the nipple, they're off the like, come on, kids, let's get in the car. Like, there's no shit you gotta bring. We all drink out of my water bottle. I don't give a damn. I don't give a damn. Whatever's easiest. And let's go have some fun. I'm ready for that. So I want this 4th of July to be patriotic as fuck. Hot dogs up the ass, fireworks up the ass, popsicles up the ass, pictures up the ass. Okay, and I've never been to Mackinac Island. So I'm excited to like do that with them. I I just want to like have fun. I hope my phone doesn't work up there. Okay, I pray to God that my phone doesn't even work. Like that would make it even better. Um, and yeah, so we're gonna stay up there for two nights and there's one bedroom. So I don't know how that's gonna work where we're all gonna sleep, but we're gonna figure it out. And I have this like little tent in my basement. I'm gonna bring up there, and we can kind of like pretend camp, you know what I mean? Like just set it up. We can kind of like do some sprinklers outside, like, oh, I just want it to, I just want it to be memorable memorable for them. And I don't really remember being three, but maybe my son is smarter than me. But I just uh I hope you guys have like a good good vibes 4th of July because like we all deserve it. Life is so serious, life is so blah, life is so let's go put on some matching old navy t-shirts and have some fun. That's what I want. That's what I want for this 4th of July, okay? Just want to have some fun. And yeah, I mean, it it's gonna be so fun. Last things last. Let me take a breath. I'm a little my mouth's a little dry. Yes, I have a manager. Her salary is zero dollars a year. But I needed to find somebody that believed in me and that like can see the vision that I have and can kind of oversee me and can kind of like help grow with me, and then I'm gonna take her to the top with me, catch us in the pit. We finna be in the pit in 2028 at Coachella. Okay, I'm speaking it into existence. We finna be in the pit. Okay, if there's any other people out there, content like masterminds that are trying to get on this bandwagon that believe that believe in me and can help boost this up, fucking message me. Let's let's do this shit. I don't I just want it to be fun here. I don't want it to be that like I want it to be serious because I really do want this to be like my career. I do. Um, but that takes time and I'm patient. So yeah. Um, last things last, Love Island. Can we talk Love Island? So this is gonna be so behind for you guys when we chat. But Casa Amor just happened, and I just want to say, these men are dogs. Okay, these men are fucking dogs. The looks on their faces when these girls came in and were like shaking their ass on them, that's all it takes for him to cheat. That's all it takes for a man to cheat. They have no, there's something loose in their brains that they cannot, they can't they can't control themselves. There actually is a screw physically loose in men's brain that if a girl walks up, walks up and shakes their ass on them, they don't everything's everything else is out the window. A marriage of 20 years, kids, they don't give a fuck. They they finna be in the ass. We finna be in the pit and they finna be in the ass. And you know what? That's just what it is these days, unfortunately. Um the men are getting weaker, the girls are getting hotter, and we're we're doomed. We're doomed. So that's why like what I'm looking for is kind of like unique in a man. Like, I just want us to be like uh a little bit more open, not swinger, not swinger open, but like I don't want, oh, you talk to this girl, oh blah blah blah. I just want us to like at the end of the day come together and be obsessed with each other. Obviously, you're not gonna go out and like fuck other girls, but like I'm not trying to like micromanage you, but I want to know in my brain, in the back of my head, that like you don't even want to do that because you're so obsessed with me and my asshole. Okay. That's what I want. Like, like that that's what a girl wants. Like, I just want somebody to have fun with, to grow. I don't even want to grow with you. I want to already be at that point in my life where I'm grown. I have my shit together. I have my like my career where I want it, and that's why I'm not ready. Like, that's what I feel like. I don't want to grow with somebody, okay? When I'm to the when I'm at the top, that's when I'm gonna start looking. Because I want somebody at the top. Okay. I want an elite. I want a I want a professional hockey player. I want I don't want no average hoe in St. Joe. Sue me. Fucking sue me. So, yeah, I mean, Love Island shit. They they are just all dogs. I mean, am I any better? Not really, but I at the end of the day, it's not like a man with abs like grinding on me. I would like throw my whole life away. I definitely wouldn't. I mean, I'd maybe lick it, and then I'd be like, okay, like I'm good here. Ah shit. Alright, guys. Well, I hope you guys have a fun 4th of July. Um, take a shot for me because I'm staying sober this 4th, and I'm gonna be grandma up in the UP. Is it Megan in the UP? No, it's not. It's like at the tip, right? It's at the tip. I think it's like four and a half hours away, so yeah, I don't know how I'm gonna feel about that, but I'm gonna make it fun. I love you guys, and I will see you next week. Stay hotter than you.
