Three thumbs up. So what do we got today? LaCore's uh kind of running the show today. We wanted to talk about some things, introduce a couple agents, and he's number one on the list.

Yeah. Well, instead of going into detail about who we serve and things you've already heard about with real estate, I thought we could talk about some fun places. Things to actually do in Omaha. So that's kind of the topic that I brought up for today. So make it more relaxed. So what's your number one? Number one place that you like to do. Well, I don't know.

It depends on By yourself or with friends. Not girlfriends, just friends. What do you do?

Um the number one thing that I like to do is more activities-based. I like to go to Exarbon and uh sand volleyball, if anybody's ever done that, by the inner rail. You can grab food late night. Um they have lights that come on um when it starts getting dark and you can play for hours on end. So that's the number one thing I like to do, sand volleyball. Anything activity-wise.

Good. Um my wife family love the zoo. Yeah. I mean, that's where everybody goes, is the zoo. It it is a fantastic place, and I suggest season passes, and you can go anytime.

And so season passes is the only way to do it. Yeah.

If you go more than once, it's yeah, it is a Lauren's Gardens is good. Yep. What do you like to take your kids, Aaron?

So we we obviously I got kiddos too. So we we like the zoo, but for us, we've we kind of stumbled upon Mahoney State Park. That's cool. Like I back when I was here in 2000 you know, 10, 11 time frame, I'd been there a little bit, but it's completely different, I feel like.

It does have fishing and stuff for like kids. Yep, they have like all the equipment.

It's like a little bubble out there, so you have yeah, you have the sack museum, you got the safari wildlife drive-thru park, which you can get out and walk on, and then you have Mahoney State Parks. And Mahoney State Park has the ice skating rink in the winter, yeah, the water park for the summer, cabins.

Where the ice skating ring is, if a lot of people don't know this, there's a huge kids' playset inside there. Yep, that we used to take my kids there to jungle gym type thing. Yeah, it's really cool out there. They have food there and everything.

They have a driving range now. Really? I think it was a driving range if I remember right. I know it's putt putt, maybe not driving range. Putt putt, horseback riding, canoeing. Yeah, it's a great place to go.

I think everywhere in Omaha you can get to in like 25, 30 minutes from end to end. That's almost during rush hour, too.

I mean, we don't have much traffic here, so it goes pretty quick. Rush hour only adds about five minutes on where you're going.

What about uh a date? Uh date night. What's a good place? A good date night, I would say, depending on if you're creative, I would say go downtown. Uh-huh. Uh there's a many places to walk down there. There's ice cream shops, there's different little knick-knack shops where you can get um candles, incense, um, keychains, um just homemade things, and it looks really amazing down there. It's beautiful, especially in the wintertime. You could take a horseback carriage. Oh, an ice skating. Yeah, there's a ice skating. Uh figure eight ice skating. There's also a couple places called there's a corky canvas or painting with a twist. You can go to those places and then it's guided. There's a person that'll teach you exactly how to paint. And you just follow along and you're drinking at the same time. But that's optional. You want to do one on the podcast? It makes it night easier, though.

I know the concert venues here are fantastic. We have uh Steelhouse, we have Warpheum, we have you. I mean, you would know better than me because you're younger and you know these things.

Yeah. I don't go out much. So yeah, if you check Facebook or Ticketmaster, you'll find out all the different concerts that we have. We do host quite a bit.

Yeah, there's a lot of free ones in the park. Yeah, there's free ones last week. Yeah.

Do they do this, still do the free or cheaper uh concerts at the amphitheater by the papillion? I yeah, I don't think it's for free though. But they have decent concerts out there.

And now um La Vista, and we're not just talking Omaha Central, we're talking the whole wide area of Omaha. And that's all the different cities that really are not they're more suburbs of Omaha. But yeah, we're talking everywhere. La Vista, Papillion, uh, even Platzmouth. There's a lot to do down in Platzmouth as well.

And here's an Omaha native that you have to be a native to understand this. But if you go to a concert downtown by the Steelhouse area, go to Mull and Curly's after, and you can do your own karaoke. It doesn't matter that night. So if you're not done and you want to sing it yourself, go to Mowen Curly's. That Capital District's fantastic down there.

So we went, we talked about Mahoney, but then when you just said Plasma, Nebraska City.

Yeah, Apple Orchard. Yeah, it's 45 minutes away. What is it the name of that?

I don't even know. We've been there a hundred times. The Applejack Festival.

Yeah. What's the uh what's the hotel there?

No, the big resort. Yeah, the Leeds Center. Leeds down there. Um the the uh what was it? The mansion, the museum, the mansion with all the trees. Yeah, that place is really cool. Yeah, they got a lot going on. It's a cute town. Right on the river, great houses. That's good. So in Bellevue with the new water park, it's gonna be fantastic. Fourth largest water park in the country, indoor, most of it's indoor. Um, it's gonna be fun. That's really gonna become built up down there. Falconwood is down there, that's where they do the drive-in movie theater. So they also have summer camps there for kids, but they also have a really cool adult summer camp that you go as an adult and you spend a week there.

What about um with I think it's I think it's underrated because it wasn't like this when I was here before, but uh American Heroes Park in Bellevue. They've really yeah, that's that's crazy. That's huge. And then there's and we're putting in an amphitheater there. Amphitheater, and they're doing uh actual like bathrooms there. Yeah, and you can fish and they have all that stuff there.

It's fantastic. Uh it's we're growing everywhere, and everything's getting updated, and uh it's just a lot to do here, and you don't think there's a lot of free stuff to do. Yep. Our bike paths are crazy. We got bike paths all over the place.

Yeah, like the Bob Carey pedestrian bridge. Have you guys ever been there? Yep. I would say, and it connects Nebraska and Iowa together over the river.

And it drops right at the casinos in Iowa.

It's good for date night, it's good for people that are of all ages. And if you have kids too, the number one tip is bring some chalk. There's concrete everywhere, and it's allowed. So you can draw chalk like hopscotch and just draw pictures and stuff, and then it'll rain and like wash it away next time. But that's a good little family event to go to.

Do they still have the sprinkler park at the bottom of it? Yep. For kids? Yeah, it's the sprinkler park. My kids love that.

It's like a concrete step, which I was actually kind of curious about that. It's like three feet high, but it's like concrete. So I'm like, what happens if a kid falls in it? Yeah, but it's wide open. Yeah, but you have ages from like two to ten that are playing on that. It gets a little crazy down there, but it is a cool place to go.

If you stand on the Bob Car uh the pedestrian bridge, for two, you can feel it move. Yeah, you can feel my girl, we went down there for the College World Series, and my girls were like, is this bridge moving? I'm like, Yeah, it is. That's another thing.

We have the events that happen throughout the summer and throughout the year. Called World Series, Berkshire Days. Yep. Um Olympic swim trials. If we get those back, yeah. If we get them back, yeah. There's other things, concerts.

Yeah. We have the air show coming up too.

The air show at Office. August 15th, 15th, 16th. Is it 8th and 9th? 8th and 9th this year, yep. Um, I don't think Blue Angels or Yeah, I have to look at who's coming on this one. Yeah, I don't, but it's really cool to go down there. So it's free. It is free to get on base and they let you on and go see that. Your kids would love it. Lots to do there. It's a fantastic event.

So things to do outside. We talked about a little bit. So we got Mahoney, but what's more close? Mahoney's about 25 minutes away. Walnut Creek's in Papillion. That's not a bad little recreation area.

What's the other one Papillion uh Creek Creek Papio? Papio Creek area where Papio Fun Park is and Papio Swimming Pool. The funplex, you mean? Well, no, not the funplex. Funplex is fun too, but it costs. But you there's uh there's also the baseball fields and everything where Papio um swimming pool is. Yep. Right there off of 72nd Street. I think it's only six dollars to get in there, too. They got water slides? I don't know, I've never been to that pool. Plattsmith Pool is one of the best pools out there, I think. Really? Around here. I think Platm is pretty cool.

Plattsmith pool is actually amazing. And then they have uh late nights from six to eight. It's adult swim, um, which is pretty good. So I recommend that too for teenagers.

Back on the zoo, the zoo has the late night. Late nights at the zoo where they have a yeah, they have food trucks come in, yeah, and they serve alcohol. Nobody under the age of 21 is allowed. Even kids, like even babies, it's all adults.

And then when you get to this you serve drinks and stuff too there? Yeah, yeah. And then you get the bigger.

When you get to the seasonal stuff, like Halloween, you have Vallas, you have the pumpkin patches all over Iowa and Nebraska, but the Bellevue Berry Farm is fantastic. If you want to go pick strawberries, yeah. Um there's a lot to do in the fall. Uh we got football, you've got you got everything in Nebraska and falls.

I was it's kind of my favorite season of the fall. I was timing you to see how long it took you to bring up Husker football. I'm excited. How long was it? I think we have 43 days.

I think we have 43 days left. I'll start, but another another disappointment. Disappointment? Yeah. Probably. Yeah, exactly. I still root for them though. It doesn't matter. I'm the same with Mazoo. So Mazoo. But this is our year. Sorry, this is our year. No, I just we'll see what happens.

But uh some personal favorite things.

Like one of my favorite things, we did it last year, and it's the first time they had it. It was at Christmas, and we went to Falconwood, and they have the walkthrough, and they have cabins, and they take some of the stores from downtown Omaha and they put them in the cabins. So you when you're walking through, each of the cabins is a different store from downtown Omaha or pavilion. You know, it's local stores that go out there and relocate. They have food trucks set up, coffee. Um, Grinch is rolling on a bike you can get rides on. Um, it's fantastic. It's really cool. And they light it all up with decorations and stuff. It's a really cool place to go. So that Falconwood Park down there in uh La Platte. It's right off La Patte, yeah. Down in there. So they do drive-ins.

Right at the county line, Sarpee County and Cass County line.

Yeah, that that was last year. That was one of my favorite things we did.

Yeah, I think uh for being back in the Midwest, we're we're just excited to be outside more. So we live in Two Springs. We love I live there, but uh Chuck can attest. I think Two Springs uh Nature Trail little walking area is probably the best in Bellevue because it connects from Two Springs all the way to Blackhawk.

Actually, it connects to that Omaha trail that goes all you can actually get to that Omaha trail from that all the way to K Park. And there's a park on 25th Stone. Is it Stonecroft? Yep. On 25th. That's a fantastic park, too.

There's like three. If you walk that trail from Two Springs, well, you have the park in Two Springs, you have a park on Ron, yeah, right by Blackhawk. A little one. Yeah, and then you have you walk through Blackhawk Park, which is gorgeous. And it has that creek and little waterfall. And then you go to Stonecroft by on 25th and right by the base hospital, basically.

For for a guy thing that we have golf courses go or golf course. Nebraska has a bunch of golf courses, they're all fantastic. I mean, there I don't think you could hit all of them in a year time frame. How many do you think there's so many? 20 plus probably golf courses. Oh, yeah.

And super cheap ones. There are only uh par threes the entire way. And you have to walk though. There's no carts, but it's cheap. LaCore and I are out there with the kids playing par threes.

Not mini stores, but Milt's golf course. Yeah. Over by it's right across from the War Horse Casino that they just built. Yeah.

That's the golf course I go to when I when I feel like that's a good one for kids. I know that's why I go, because I feel like I'm good. Yeah. You teach your kids like how to work and carry the bags. My daughter's been better in golf than me, because she's four.

So Tiburon's excellent. Indian Creek. I mean, I you can just name them. What's your top one? I golf league at Tiburon. It's one of the hardest ones, I think. Um I like players. Players and golf. Omaha Country Club. I've never golfed there, but it's gorgeous. Is it? Um I always want to golf there, but you have to be a member. And I know you're Cory Oaks is one of the high ones.

Bentry, are you gonna tell me Bentry? So what's the if you wanted someone to go across the river in Iowa, where do they go golfing at?

Bentry. I mean there's a lot of them, but a lot of people go Bentry and it's beautiful. The no trees. It's called Bentry, but there's no trees. And it it it's windy. It's a tough course. It's a long course. Is it by the river? Is it coming down the road? No, it's by the airport. Oh, okay. What's the school out there? Iowa Western. It's the Iowa Western extra exit, and then you go south.

Gotcha. What's the what's your top places to eat? Places to eat.

Not a chain. Uh I've been into like a ramen kick. There's a lot of different um Japanese ramen, Chinese ramen places that you can visit. Uh especially in Bellevue. There's one in the the center right next to Target. There's one right there. Really? And then, yeah, there's a good Chinese place, like ramen. Um, and then another good place. Steakhouses. We have many of those. That's what we're doing. But I'm usually the fast food. I'm usually quick. It's like culverse. Everybody loves culverse. That's right by the movie theater. Culver's is good. Um then there's uh Papillion. We can go there. I think places in there. A Uranza? Yes, I run the no. I'm a no on Runza. I don't, I've never liked Run. Runza's horrible.

I'm not into that. Um I went to one place for the first time, and it was like this beef on Brent. And it was like you can get like small, medium, large, but it's like just a horrible. It was actually horrible. I don't even I don't want to put any names out there, you know, get sued or anything like that, but I would not recommend it. One of my favorites is Shucks.

I know I know you don't really want fish in Nebraska because it's so far away from the ocean. It's gonna be good though. It's good, it's fresh. Which one? Which shucks is? I like the one out on 120th and uh Pacific. Pacific, okay. The market. It's Shucks Market, it's not the shit. The downtown one's just a restaurant, but the the fish market's a better one, I think. Okay. Um that that's a good one.

We like pitch down in India. I like it a lot. It's pretty good. Uh we tried local, like bringing it back to Bellevue. I love um now. I just had a brain fart. What's the sushi place we always go to?

Oh, Yumami. Umami. That place is awesome. It is amazing. You know what's weird? Is sushi is like really big in Omaha. Yeah, it's a good thing. And it's they they're highly rated in Omaha.

The owner of Mamami came from New York City. Yeah, he was a chef there. He was a chef in like a Manhattan sushi place, and he came to a friend of his lived in Omaha, and they're like, hey, we don't have sushi here, or we don't have a very good sushi light here. So he came to Bellevue because there was nobody here for sushi. And he kind of reinvented the sushi world in Bellevue.

My favorite steakhouse that nobody really, it's old, old steakhouse on uh 72nd by Emmanuel Hospital called uh Drover. Have you been there yet? Oh my god. That's the best steak in Omaha. There isn't a better steak. And I've been to a lot of them. Drover is the best steak in Omaha. They still have a solid bar, which is cool. Nobody has solid bars anymore, so I like that one. Salad.

Go to the inner rail food haul, and I recommend they have some healthy options too. So they have like yogurt, um, like the like the healthy options for like drinks and stuff. They have a shop in there for like healthy drinks that you can get. But then they have like pizza, burgers, pretty much everything there for like food, like any kind of food you want to get. Okay. Yeah, so some of the best places to find out about events. Well, you talked about like Ticketmasters, one of the go-to. Yeah, ticket masters.

But that's where something you have to pay for, and it's really not telling you what's going on in Omaha. No.

But I highly recommend that people go on Facebook, find different groups, local groups, like chamber groups, um, and or just find out.

There's a Belgian group, there's a Papillion group, there's an Omaha group, there's several Omaha groups.

And then go to events on Facebook, but actually, I feel like nobody ever goes to those. And you can see where your friends are going or what they're interested in. And then you'll you can find out about markets, craft shows, literally everything in Omaha. Even clubs and stuff too. Excuse me.

Baseball is a good one. Gretna has a good farmers market.

Bellviews is good, Gretna's is good, um, Exarbon. I haven't been to Xarbins, but I hear it's fantastic.

We went to the Gretna one last weekend. It was pretty good. It was just so freaking hot. Yeah. The week and a half of heat wave here in Nebraska.

We have several. I'm kind of surprised we have so many markets on Saturdays, but there's a lot of them. And the town has one.

And then another website is Visit Omaha. It has a lot of places that you can go, but then a lot of places that are being built that you can keep like tracks on. So if you live by something where there's they're building something new, but you don't really don't know what it is, go to Visit Omaha and you can kind of figure that out and then get specifics, see renderings and what it's going to look like at the end. But Visit Omaha is another good place to find out new and exciting places that are coming and have already just been established. Eventbrite is just like Ticketmaster, except it's more events, and you can create that. Anybody can create an event. Um so that's another good place to find some. Do you guys have any?

No, I just, you know, where I get most of my stuff is Facebook groups. Yeah. You know, this is going on or this is going on. I just not LinkedIn or something. We don't go out at night. You know, it's six o'clock. We're usually in. I mean, we might go out here and there if something's going on, but generally we're not the young and we have kids and they keep us busy. Yeah, plus you're pool, you know. We have a pool, you don't have to do that. I do have a pool, so but yeah, when you get to a certain age and your kids are a certain age, you're in sports constantly. So you don't have to be able to do that.

What is it called? The the area where everybody's on a cart and there's always it's always something going on. Oh, there's golf carts everywhere.

Have you guys ever been to Kiwit Luminarium? No. No, I haven't yet. I haven't been there yet. But I heard it's cool. I heard it's really good for families.

Well, the children's museum downtown is fantastic. And I know they're moving it, but the old one was good. We used to go there every weekend almost.

Yeah, I remember going there as a kid since it wasn't too long ago for me compared to you guys. Since yeah, you're like 20. Yeah, with like the balls that would like pop out. There's like tons of like these little like yellow balls that you have to throw in. It's just amazing. The children's museums, but then they would always change your little ones with the dinosaurs, they would do new movies. The second floor, they have that section where they have a yeah. So they would change the vibe of the second floor to make it amazing. And then the bottom floor, they had this huge room with the tons of different balls and other Kids playing around, and you'd have to like accomplish different tasks, put these balls in here, and then it would drop from the ceiling onto you guys and stuff like that. You could throw it at each other, you could do whatever you wanted, honestly. It was really good. I know they're moving it.

They're rebuilding that, they're gonna move it to somewhere. I forget, I don't know where they're moving it to, but they are. But yeah, it's a cool place too. There's so much to do.

There's tons. We were at Papio Bay and Papillion all day, Monday. But then I was just talking to my wife, uh, Papio Bay is gonna close at the end of the year. At the end of the summer, they've completely gonna completely redo Papio Bay and Papillion. So it's gonna have a lazy river, an actual swim pool, a bigger kid section.

I don't get why because you have the fun plaques is so close. And they got the new roller coaster fun plaques, and they got new slides. I I it's cheaper, yeah. But still, um fun parks is cool.

I have one more question is how does um Omaha compare to other cities? Let's say how does it compare to New York, or how does it compare to like Texas or Florida? I always told people that Omaha was considered like a big, small city.

Yeah.

So it's big enough to where you can get lost if you don't actually socialize. But if you socialize even a little bit, you'll run into people you know often. Yep, it's a big small city. It's like you go to the grocery store all the way across Omaha, you go to an event, and then you're like, oh, you know, good to see you. But it's also like a million, like million plus people here.

So it's like you can really just Well, I think I think a lot of people don't realize how big Omaha is. It is a big. So I I'll go back to the College World series. Like the they interviewed all the pla a lot of the like star players for the teams, like, hey, yeah, how big do you think? How many people do you think Omaha has? And like every player is like 60,000, 50,000. I don't even think anybody even got close to a million as their gas as their opportunity.

It's not a million, though. So well, greater than Douglas is if you add all of it together, it's a million. Right at a million. But Omaha's not a million. But if really Bellevue, La Vista, Papillion, they're suburbs. They really are Omaha. They could connect. Add all that together, yes, you're at a million. There's only like two million people even in Nebraska, I think. Yeah, I don't know the exact number, but Nebraska's doesn't have a lot of people in it.

Biggest city though in Nebraska, Omaha. Oldest city in Nebraska. Bellevue. The first city. First city ever established in the state of Nebraska.

So but what kind of vibe would you say it is? Here. I would say it's like the perfect vibe of like.

I think it's a good mix. Yeah. You have a good mix. Omaha, Omaha is also a lot of people don't know this. It reminds me of a little Austin in a way, because of the music scene here. It's got a really good, I mean, yeah. Music scene, uh, Saddle Creek Records is here. Um, there's a lot going on in Omaha for music. Yeah. Um and bands and stuff. So I think um it does kind of remind me of an Austin um vibe a little bit.

Yeah. So the building so Austin, but more family oriented. Yeah. Maybe.

Because you don't have you and I mean obviously University of Texas is an Austin. Yeah. We have UN UNL and Creighton.

We have Creighton. That's we have a there's a quite a few here uh metro colleges, but metro community colleges. I'd say it's yeah, it's just more of a watered down. What's the pace consideration?

Oh, this is what's like if you go to a big city, it's like super fast. Everybody's like you're walking down New York Street, you know, you just nobody's talking to you. It's just big city vibe. Well, that's east. And then if you go to like South Carolina, like the Carolinas or like the South Alabama, yeah, uh like even like the panhandle of Florida, it's like slower. It's like island vibe. It's like if you went to Hawaii and everybody's two hours late. I gotta be honest, I'm always in a hurry.

I think there's a lot of people in a hurry here.

Yeah, I think it is sort of in a hurry, but it depends on the vibe. It depends on like what you want to do. It's right in the middle, sweet spot. It's really like you're in a hurry, it's not New York in a hurry. No, no, no. You know, it's and it's not like walking or whatever. You get in your car, it takes 15 minutes to get there, but you're gonna be on time. You're not gonna be 30 minutes early, and you're not gonna be 30 minutes late.

I mean, Omaha's a huge change. Omaha's spread out. It is widely spread out, though. The area of Omaha is spread out, but it takes 30 minutes to drive across it when it's the traffic's kind of mid-traffic. So you it doesn't take long.

Yeah, one or two traffic jams.

In LA, it takes two hours to go out and get a go to a restaurant. Yeah, yeah. And every restaurant. I know Texas was kind of that route too. It'd take an hour and a half just to get to a restaurant sometimes. Yeah.

Yeah, it's San Antonio traffic, insane. Yeah.

There's so many people in Texas, it is crazy.

Austin's even worse. Houston is the worst by far.

I think Omaha kind of like a small town with its traffic compared to a big city. I mean, it's it's so much better. People that come here, like military especially, I heard a lot say that uh they didn't expect how easy the traffic is, but they do think people in the from Nebraska drive like they're crazy. They haven't been to Texas. We got some hardcore drivers here. We also have angry drivers.

You want to see you want to see angry go to Texas. So for people that are moving here, like military individuals or just people that just want to come to Omaha, you know, maybe because of Berkshire or something like that. But how would you describe like the closest cities? Like Bellevue's like off it's in Bellevue. Yeah. And then how would you describe La Vista and Papillion in comparative to each other?

Papillion and La Vista are always kind of the Pavilion's always at the top list of Bellevue's the third largest city in Nebraska.

So you have Omaha, Lincoln, and then Bellevue. And Bellevue only has 60,000 people, and it's the third largest city.

So that 60 doesn't include military though, right?

Yeah, I think it's oh well, yeah, I think it does, doesn't it? Because it'd be hard to census that. Yeah, I guess it would be based on census, but military have to I don't know how they do census. So I don't know.

But it could be bigger a little bit.

Yeah, it could be a little bigger, but that's the third largest city in in the whole state of Nebraska. So we're not the Papillion's 17,000? 20,000?

I think 25 now. How would you describe it to somebody moving here? Like, okay, I want to choose from La Vista, Papillion, Bellevue. Like, how would you describe that? Yeah, we can't do that. I mean, you're not trying to push it. I would say, I would say Papillion has a lot of shopping, has a lot of activities. Yeah, Pilion. La Vista is more closer to in the middle of the city. So if you want really want city vibes, Papillion has a lot of farmland on the south side of it. And so if you want open land and uh more kind of expensive uh zip code, I would say Papillion. La Vista's more centered, like older than that. And then Bellevue is the old isk. Yeah, Bellevue is old.

I think but I think Bellevue Bellevue has its obviously the home of off it, right? But Bellevue, I think, was um protected so much over the last decade of like because I think everybody in in Bellevue was afraid of development. You're right. Well boom. Yeah.

No, you're right. And I'm not talking about about our city or something. No, no, we're not talking about that. I just think it just Bellevue thinks it's a small town, but they're really a city. Yeah, they are a city. We gotta keep growing. Um, but they still like to think they're a small town town and how they adjusted things and did things in the past, or even now, they still work on a small town level and they like it that way. Yeah. Um I don't mind it. Everybody has to I mean we're growing, but I mean I would say like Papillion, I think Papillion soon will catch Bellevue in size. I think Gretna has the biggest advantage for growth. Because of an interstate. No, it's just landmass. It's a landmass. They're city, they have way more room to grow. They have way more room to grow.

Papillion can annex quite a bit more. They won't, but they're up against Gretna right now. If they want to. Well, but Papillion can annex this way towards Bellevue if Bellevue doesn't it's already taken.

Start pushing. That's already taken. So all Papillion can do is go south. And they can go down to the South Platte, the Platte River.

Well, what city's gonna annex Lions well, Lionsgate. Clearwater Falls area.

Uh that's all Papillion still. But it's not actual Papillion City Limits. It it'll be a fight, a fight between Gretnine and Papillion. Yeah.

Gretnite has the most room to get the. We're talking this side of Kart. That'd be Bellevue Papillion fight.

But I think it's already decided. It's not in the city limits though, right? It doesn't matter. It's still decided. Because it's it's still zip code.

Yeah, I'm talking about like annexing unincorporated parts of the county.

But they're still in a papillion, they have a papilion address or they have a bellevue address, so it's either one of those. They can't, if you have a bellevue address, they can't go in and annex a bellevue. It's too big. Yeah. So that's already been decided. It's based off of um it's yeah, that's already been decided. I think it goes right down 48th Street. One side's papilion. But I'm not for sure. Lions Gates Papillion. Yeah. Yeah. Cedar Falls. Cedar Falls.

Is it Waterford? Is that Papillion or it depends on what Waterford?

What site you're on. Yeah, what side of the street you're on. It goes back and forth.

I think Papillion. Papillion gets a lot of publicity though, too, nationwide. Because they got they got on the you know top cities to raise a family for like the last 15 years. So we wanted to kind of change the pace today. We wanted uh kind of go into more about what Omaha has to offer, like LaCore said.

You know, this is something we we wanted to do in the beginning, and then we might recap on again later here and there or new places that come in. But um, we wanted to talk about why Omaha. Yeah, so why people would like it here um and want to raise a family here. We didn't even get into the school systems, yeah. They're fantastic. Yeah, they are.

Yeah, school system, and it doesn't matter the town or the city or the school district. It is we have fantastic schools here.

But I mean, yeah, overall, we'll in we'll kind of end start in, but overall, Omaha, we talked about it in the prior two podcasts. Opportunities there, great jobs. You have the midless Midwest values, great places to raise a family, affordable housing, affordable housing, yeah, the cost of living is lower than most metro metro areas in in the st in the United States. So we're there, but um except for Indiana.

But let's not talk about that. Who wants to live in India? What's the next one? That's why it's lower. Is that even a state? It's a for for income versus uh property values.
