Welcome back, everybody, to the Spirit Unleash Podcast. We couldn't be more excited to bring you another episode of what I believe is the best podcast in the world. Nobody can tell me any different. Number one, Holy Spirit-filled conversation coming your way. As you can see, we've got a new setup here. We're testing out the mobile setup. We're actually at mine and our beautiful guests' home today. My wife, Sierra, is joining us on the podcast, mainly because she was around when we did the setup. So we kind of just drug her in. No, I'm just kidding. But I believe that she has a wonderful, powerful testimony, and she has a lot to bring to the table when it comes to talking about testimony of a mother, of a wife, and everything like that. Supposed to have mom on too, but unfortunately, um it could not happen this time. We're gonna get her on one of these days, though. I believe that in Jesus' name. And um, it's gonna be a mighty conversation in the Holy Spirit tonight. If you think this podcast could help somebody, why don't you share it right now? Take a few moments at the start of the episode, like, comment, subscribe to the channel, make sure you turn on the notifications so you know when new episodes are dropping. We've got some wonderful stuff coming up, so be sure you're ready for that. Share this with somebody so we can spread the good news of our Lord Jesus to everybody that we can. Amen. Just want to reach as many people as possible. This podcast is mainly for the glorification of the kingdom. So please take a moment, like, comment, subscribe while we just kind of chat around a little bit. Everybody been okay? Yes, past few weeks.

SPEAKER_03

So far?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Really good. We've had a bit of a break um a little bit last week, and I'll let Jesse testify a little bit. I didn't I didn't tell him I was gonna do this, so he's kind of been putting on the spot.

SPEAKER_01

You are, I didn't take notes for that.

SPEAKER_04

But um Jesse had um something happened within his family last week, and I believe it would be awesome for the viewers to kind of know um the testimony that we have, because I believe that God has already done a miraculous work. Yeah, I believe it's truly wonderful.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. Um so I'll just I won't I won't, you know, spend a lot of time on it. Um but uh we were I was actually on my way to come record the episode Tuesday of last week and sitting there in the living room with my parents, and then the heart doctor called my dad and said, Hey, you need to go to the ER right now. I just looked at some test results, and something doesn't look good. And so, of course, you when you get a call like that, what else can you do but say, Yes, I'm I'm going. And so he sped over to uh Niceville Hospital, uh, started to do some checkouts, he ended up having that was like, Hey, we're gonna you're gonna stay over uh for observation throughout the night. And it was scary that first night, and of course I'm shooting out texts uh to various church members, you two and pastor and others. Um, and you know, one of the or two of the people I sent out to are Brother Dinkins and Brother John, and both of them have had heart problems in the past, various things, but they have seen miracles work in their life. Yeah. And I just texted him, I said, I know what you I know you know what he's going through, to the at least to some extent. Right. And but I know that you've seen you're on the other side of it. And uh I've I've felt led, and I feel right now, that as we go as we have testimonies, as we go through things in our life, where and we get to the other side, we can help others kind of cross that gap, as it seems like they're going through a desert. And I just throughout my dad's entire stay, he's he's home now, got a game plan in action, things are looking great and awesome, thank God. But through it all, you he had people coming into his room, one of the uh nurses that came through to do his um what his his heart echo. She was like, you know, without without any prompting, she says, you know what, I really feel about the heart. The heart is just is like so an awesome creation, and with all things that are created, it has to have a creator, and it's God, and God made the heart. And my dad's just sitting there like, okay, well, this door opened, I'm gonna start talking to you about God. I believe that. And so it's just been an awesome this moment I think is is brought my family together and just talking to my dad and saying, hey, taking every day with the Lord, and every day is a gift. But it's also he he almost said it's uh you know, it's it's not a comfortable thing to go through, you know, not knowing and and and potential put a possible pacemaker put in and all that kind of stuff. He's a bit nervous, but at the same time, it's uh what he calls it, maybe this is my thorn in the flesh that I bear, but to be able to meet people and have conversations with people and also to have a testimony for the next person that may encounter something like this. So through it all, throughout this entire situation, I have leaned on God for strength. And it is and he has been there and given me that strength, and I just can't thank him enough.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. The beautiful thing about that is um that that's funny that you say that about uh the nurse and uh her talking about God. I can just see Brother Garza's face right now when she said that. I'm sure he just lit up whenever that opportunity was there. Um but I I tell you what, you don't know the celebration that was had whenever, because you originally texted when you texted me and dad, you were saying they were thinking about operating and this, that, and the other. And then out of nowhere, like an hour later, you're just like headed home now. Yeah, and just like thanking the Lord for those immediate prayers that were just answered and that went out. Um, you know, the power of prayer and unity is just a beautiful thing.

SPEAKER_01

It's it's something you don't realize how much you really need because when you're in the middle of the storm, that you should be praying as well, you know, absolutely, but having other people around you, men of God, that you can lean on and say, Look, I'm I'm going through it and I need some help, and you guys just coming up alongside, pastor as well, brother Deacons, Brother John, uh come up alongside, and just you feel that strength and unity in your brothers and sisters in the faith, just you know, helping to carry that burden. You're just not alone and this that man, you can't you can't pay. There's not enough money in the world to buy things like that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It's funny that you say that because I was just talking about him today or with him today, that you know, that when you're going through something hard and you don't have enough strength yourself to maybe actually say a prayer, like when you really truly mean it, because you're going through something and it can be hard, which I know I've experienced, and you have to lean on other people to help you. Like, I need you to help pray for me. Like I like I'm not strong enough right now. Yes, and I mean that's what other people are for, like your family, your friends, like they're there to help you. Like you're not supposed to do it by yourself. Not supposed to do it alone.

SPEAKER_03

So well, and I had a conversation with the other day about his mom, because his mom's been going through some health issues, and you know I told him yesterday no, it was this morning actually, matter of fact, I said, you know, I've been praying for your mother, you know, because God is the ultimate healer, he's the doctor, he's everything, right? I said, but I've also been praying for y'all, your family. Because even though your mom is it it is the one in need, you're in need as well because you need the strength to be able to support her. Yeah. Because if you don't have that strength, the mental, the mental, you know, exhaustion that you may have is physically draining. And they need it, the family needs the strength just as much as the one that needs the healing to help get through the things. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And it's it's just like Sierra was saying, the um when you are part of a church family like we are, when you're part of, you know, a men's group, a sister's group, a brotherhood, sisterhood, whatever it is, you it's there's just unity in the bride of Christ. And there's a beautiful thing in that. Whereas, like, I know Sierra has um people she can go to in her family that you can talk to. And um, it didn't used to be that way. But the power of testimony and how God brings people together, it's just an unbelievable thing. And it that's that's a main part of your testimony, I believe, is just how God placed people into your life and how he was speaking to you through different people, and uh it's definitely part of our testimony for sure, um, bringing us together. But um it's it's just a powerful thing when you can have a a unified body to to just lean on in those those uh those trials and those storms and everything like that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and you I mean you learn best too from your closest friends and family too. Like you take in what they say, you see how they are, how the light of Jesus shines through them, and it really affects you and helps you. I think that's like with like how my family was, like, I'm not trying to brag or anything, but like I was like, I was going to church, which my parents started going, but then I was the one that like kind of stayed, you know, which I talked about in my short video of my testimony, like yeah, I was just going for like the social aspect at first, and then but then like I really started like going for the right reasons, and then um I remember my dad telling me one time that he um like he what he loves is that he can see Jesus through me and it's helps him want to be better for whatever he's going through. So that's just like helping like you you're you can help your family and your family can help you, your friends. They see how you act, they see how you are with your relationship with God, and that's almost like it's not like one of the most important things, I think, like having that that um relationship and community of people that are Christ-like.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. You were the example. You know, it's kind of like poison ivy, right? You scratch it, it spreads. Yes. You know, spiritual Jesus is the same way when they see it radiating off of you, the the brightness of that, it spreads.

SPEAKER_06

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_03

It spreads. You know, it it's like a contagious disease. But it's a good disease to have, right?

SPEAKER_01

It it really is. You know, honestly, I don't think we realize the effect we have on our co-workers. So you you you you know and talk about family, you have effect on family and stuff. You feel like they're very close. But I had a coworker who, you know, is a mentor of mine at the in in the in in you know the the field in which I work. Um but I never really, and it's probably too to my discredit, I didn't really think about it, but uh I didn't realize the impact I was having on his life. Sure. And he he transitioned to a little bit different job um moving up in the in the world, and I kind of stay where I was at. But we have like this whole thing called a litho, and that's just a picture with like an aircraft on it, and everybody signs it and says something, you know, whatever. And so I was in there, and at the time I knew he had been very it was not a very happy exit. He left you know, a lot of strife and struggle that he was going through, and he just had to get out. Um and so I was like, hey man, don't forget to smile. And you know, me just trying to be lighthearted about it, but I didn't find out until years later. He's talking to me, he's like, Hey, you know, I really appreciate the message you put on my you know, my little going away, you know, picture. And I was like, What message? What did I say? And he was like, Well, you told me that the don't forget to smile, you know. And I was like, Oh yeah, yeah, I did say that. And he's like, I see that sometimes, and I'm like, Yeah, I I need to take a step back, and I I do need to smile. Why it's it's it's you know, I I need to let stop letting these the things that are going on, these little things you know affect my life. And I was like, wow man, I didn't even mean for that. I was just genius, you know, lighthearted, and and I was like, hey, I'll just put something on there.

SPEAKER_00

It doesn't have to be like you don't have to be preaching the gospel to them. Like it can be as simple as being kind, being friendly, um, being uplifting. You don't have to be like constantly like shoving, like, have you read your Bible today? Yeah, yeah. Like you don't have to be like that. You can easily show Christ-like, you know, be Christ-like through your actions and kindness, giving, being like you said, just leaving happy notes and just being uh like up being like the in a good mood, like I don't know how to describe it, like you come like at work, you show up to work in a good mood. You're not bringing the negativity and bringing other people down, you're being the one that is happy and is joyful, and they're like like what what why is she so happy all the time? Yeah, and then that can spark a conversation, and then just like things like that, like it doesn't have to be this difficult thing to be Christ-like.

SPEAKER_04

It's it's called displaying the fruits of the spirit, right? Agree, yeah. And even you know, you don't have to be backed in the word and every single conversation that you have. It should always be there as a weapon, as the foundation of disbelief. But displaying the fruits of the spirit, especially to people that maybe don't know God or they've never been to a church service, anything like that, displaying the fruits of the spirit is the most important thing. You know, just outwardly expressing your faith through your emotion, through your reaction, through the actions you take, it's so important. Um, and I think that it's the same thing. You're talking about work and family. Another thing that God kind of laid on my heart, just thinking about what you said about how you were you were the example for your family and everything like that, and you're a big example for me as well. Um you do not have to be the head of a household to bring movement into your household, or you don't have to be a supervisor or a leader at work to bring the movement of God into that group of people. You know, you can, you may be not like on a literal level or societal level, you may be below them in position at work, or you know, maybe you're a child to your parents or something like that. You can still set the example. You can still be Christ-like, and God is so contagious, like you said, Dad, he'll use anybody. Use anybody. I've heard testimonies of him using toddlers to bring people to him. I mean, it's unbelievable what God can do through the body of Christ, through the bride of Christ. That spirit of unity is just a powerful thing. It's unbelievable. Truly unbelievable. Yes, it is. Man. I'll tell you what, that is not in line with the scripture I had, but that's pretty close. Okay, all right, all right. That being said, we'll go into our uh scripture breakdown segment. All right. We've all got a scripture. Um, and you know, I know you've watched the podcast, so you know what we're gonna do. I hope you're preparing. I hope you're watching the podcast. Yeah, yeah, you better be the personal podcast. I swear. Anyways, but we've all got scripture. Um, we're gonna break down each scripture, we'll see what God does to align the conversation. Um, the past couple times we've done this on uh the episodes with us. I'll tell you what, you know, God aligns the conversation however he wants to. Yes, he does. It's a wonderful thing, so I'm excited. Um, Dad, you said yours is pretty close. So I'll let you go first.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, I'll go first. So, um, which has been, you know, the word has been with me for I've been I've been saving it, honestly, um, for this moment is uh confirmation. You know, and I was reading in Galatians, I'm in Galatians um chapter one, verse eleven, and it's where Paul is talking, you know, about, you know, and when I say confirmation, confirmation doesn't need to come from man. Right. Right? The confirmation comes from God. Right. And when I say that is that in verse 11 it starts, dear brothers and sisters, I want you to understand that the gospel message I preach is not based on mere human reasoning. Sure. I received my message from no human source and no one taught me. Instead, I received a direct revelation from Jesus Christ Himself. On his road to Damascus.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Right? He had his encounter with God, with Jesus. No, the men that was with him, they didn't see what Paul had seen. Right. Right? They only heard the voice. Right? So, verse 13, it says, You know what I was like when I was followed, when I followed the Jewish religion, how I violently persecuted God's church. I did my best to destroy it. I was far ahead of my fellow Jews and my zeal for the traditions of my ancestors. But even before I was born, God chose me and called me by his marvelous grace. Then it pleased him to reveal his son to me so I would proclaim the good news about Jesus to the Gentiles. When this happened, I did not rush out to consult with any human being, nor did I go up to Jerusalem to consult with those who were apostles before I was. Instead, I went away into Arabia and then later I returned to the city of Damascus. He didn't go and consult with no human, no man, nobody about what he encountered. His confirmation comes from the Lord Himself. So when you feel something that's pricking your heart and you feel moved, the only conversation, the only confirmation that you need is from him and not from a man or from a woman or whoever it may be.

SPEAKER_04

100%. Yeah. Confirmation is is is it can only come from God. And if it comes from another spirit, somebody else, trying to maybe weave their own agenda into something, then you'll feel it. You'll know. You'll feel that freaking your spirit. Um but you know, that being said, you'll know when God is using somebody to confirm something as well. Yeah. Because He's more than likely He's going to do it through another person, through a vessel. He's going to speak through that person to you. Um and you'll know when it's right. You know, I can't really explain the feeling, but you just know. Yeah. You know, you know, if you're sensitive to the Spirit, you'll feel it. And it's it's a wonderful thing. Man, Paul does some write some great stuff. Oh man, absolutely. Oh my goodness gracious. Paul is great. And I think what's awesome about how he says, I received the revelation from Jesus Christ himself. I've had conversations recently with some people, you know, talking about uh, you know, Jesus being Lord and you know that whole conversation about you know the Godhead three and one and everything. It's wonderful if you look back at Paul's encounter on the road to Damascus when the bright light shines at him and he he probably in his, you know, with his past, Saul being previously a very anointed person of God, probably in his past, him knowing that bright light shining, he probably knew it was the Lord speaking to him. Yet he still cried out, Who are you? He said, I am Jesus who you persecute.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Showing that, hey, I am the Lord. I am speaking to you right now. My light is so powerful, you're going to be physically blinded. But guess what? I'm going to send somebody else to confirm this encounter. You're going to send a man named Ananias to come to you. Even though you got this big bad reputation with my people, my believers, you persecuting them. He's still faithful enough, he's going to confirm this encounter. He's going to come, he's going to open your eyes again. It's Paul is full of confirmation. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I've been reading a lot of his writing lately, so that's awesome. Well, we can relate Paul.

SPEAKER_00

Sure. Yeah. Um, also, like I you could say, like baby Christians or whatever, they might get a feeling or they like a confirmation from God and maybe not necessarily know, like, get that feeling like, oh, what is this? Like, what's happening right now? I know it happened to me a lot, like, um, like at church and stuff, when I'll get a feeling to like maybe not necessarily telling me to go to the altar or go to someone, like it's just like a feeling, you're like, what is this feeling? Like you don't really know. But then eventually, like, you do make that move, you can you do you know, step out and you're you get confirmation from God, like that's what you were supposed to do. And he can use other people when like like you were saying, like, and use other people to also confirm it, like when you're feeling these feelings and you're like, Oh my gosh, what's happening right now? And then someone comes up and starts talking to you, like, hey, like I like come with me or whatever, so that's confirmation like that.

SPEAKER_04

So yeah, I think it's easy, it discernment becomes easier and easier um because you just get the simple mindset, well, would the enemy tell me to do something like that? Would the enemy tell me to step out and pray for somebody? Would the enemy try to get me to go to an altar of repentance? Your flesh won't do it either. Yeah, yes. Correct, yes. Yes, yeah. The the flesh can be a big hindrance to that. So when you get that feeling, you that's what I'm saying, you'll know you'll know that feeling. So confirmation's a powerful thing. Jesse, what you got first?

SPEAKER_01

Uh I think it's uh lining up exactly with what your dad just read. Um and someone else in there was like, man, I want to add some more stuff to that. But I think by adding to it, it's just reading, you know, what I had. Um but it this comes out of uh Isaiah 6. And Isaiah 6, verse 1 starts, in the year of the and in the year that the king Uzziah died, I also I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims, each one had six wings, with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. And one cried unto another and said, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts, and the whole earth is full of his glory. And the post of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was full. Filled with smoke. Then said I, Woe is me, for I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips, for mine eyes hath seen the king, the Lord of hosts. Then flew one of the seraphons unto me, having a live coal in his hands, which he hath taken with the tongues from off the altar. And he laid it upon my mouth and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips, and thy iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. And verse eight is really what I wanted to focus on, but you have this moment where you're just so phenomenal. I'm, you know, uh Isaiah is looking and he's seeing, you know, up into heaven, and he's looking out in this glory, and he's just awestruck, and you know, it's like I'm a sinful man, and he's just been pure uh, you know, the the coal has been taken off, and he said that an angel said, Hey, your sin's been purged. And then this question comes, and I feel like it almost, you know, it it's all sudden this changing of gears, and he says, Also I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Yeah. And then I I feel like it just comes out in a not like this loud proclamation, but Isaiah just like spilling out of him, saying, Then said I, here I am, here am I, sending. Yeah. And I think in that God was getting Isaiah ready for a word that he was going to send them forth. And I think he prepared him in that moment and gave him everything he needed. He, you know, his the coal's been applied, the sins have been purged. Uh, but he didn't then follow up and said, Alright, I got you ready, now go. Yeah. He then asked the question, Who am I going to send? Who's going to go? Right. And then it naturally comes from Isaiah, he's like, Well, Lord, I send me. I I you know, I I want to go. I I want to do this work. I think it falls up with what you were talking about with Paul. You know, he after this, after this moment that God has had it, you know, an encounter with he's had an encounter with God, that now it's on him to say, okay, God's getting you to a point, are you are you ready to receive? Are you ready to go when God's telling you to go move when God's telling you to move? Or you'll be obedient. And I think, yes, absolutely, obedience. And that's so key with the things that that God wants us to go to, the levels he wants to take us to is that obedience and that willingness to to serve and to move. I don't know how much of Grizzly's getting caught up in this one.

SPEAKER_04

But yeah, that's that's a powerful thing. And that what I really gather from that is Isaiah's faith and you know the Lord saying, Who shall I send? Yes. The Lord knows the answer to that question. Right. He's not asking for no reason. Yes. He knows exactly how Isaiah's gonna respond. He knows that he's gonna be like, All right, Lord, I'm here. I'm right here. Send me Lord. Yes. And that's just a powerful thing when you see the Lord, and it happens a few times in the Word, when you see him ask a question and you know, he knows the beginning from the end. He knows what's gonna happen when he draws this question out. But you see the ultimate faith of so many people in the Bible. Um, and what is powerful with that too, how it relates to Paul when Isaiah is talking about this vision that he's having, talking about the angels and the six wings that they have, yes, covering their face because his glory is just so bright.

SPEAKER_01

So true.

SPEAKER_04

Just as Paul was blinded, the angels cannot look upon him because his glory, his light is so bright. They're not going to cover their face. And that's just a powerful thing. Isaiah is seeing all this in this vision. He's seeing the angels, he's seeing God's glory, and yet he's still it's like, Lord, I don't know if I'm worthy. I'm of unclean lips, I don't know if I'm worthy. But God is keep keep speaking to him through this vision, keep speaking to him, and you ultimately, in this small passage of scripture, this small testimony, you see his faith and his obedience just take a 180 from I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy. You know what, Lord, send me. Absolutely, absolutely. And it takes a faith like that to truly, I believe a faith like that is truly what brings people to God.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

A person with that kind of faith, that kind of obedience, when somebody witnesses you step out like that, you know, they're just like, man, the confidence on this guy or girl, like the confidence this person has, I want that. Yeah. So they automatically are drawn to that. It's just like figures of power in the world today. You know, uh influencers, everything like that. The number one thing that draws people to them is their confidence.

SPEAKER_01

I 100% agree.

SPEAKER_04

Confidence in themselves, confidence in what they're doing, and that's where you know danger can come into the world as well. You got people speaking so confidently false truth. Yes. You know, then you have these people just like Isaiah. Well, I I I don't know what to believe here. Do I believe that I'm unworthy or do I trust in God? And it's a it's a wonderful thing. Do you want to go or do you want me to go?

SPEAKER_00

Mine's kind of a little bit different.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, well, I guess I'll go ahead. Mine's a little bit different as well. Um, but like I said, the uh I think it kind of came out in our intro conversation, but uh the spirit of unity has been on my mind a little bit recently, um, and confirmation, things like that. Um, and especially with the conversations we've been having uh in church recently about fruits of the spirit and things of that nature. I got to thinking about the spirit of unity and what it is to really um, you know, plead the blood over something and plead Jesus' blood over something. So I got to reading, and he didn't actually take me to the gospel, he took me all the way back to Exodus. So, you know, I I had to figure out how this tied into what he had me thinking about, but it's a very popular passage of scripture here in Exodus uh chapter twelve, and I'll start with verse twelve, um, just twelve and thirteen here. For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast, and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment. I am the Lord. Thirteen says, And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt. So, and I got to thinking about this because I knew we were going to have her on the podcast, and I believe that in a household being unified and pleading the blood over everything in your home is so important. And I believe he brought me to that scripture because yes, it's the Lord doing things, it's the Lord bringing these plagues upon Egypt, but there's still natural disasters, if you will. There's still things that are terrible things happening to these people that aren't obeying God. And I get to thinking about the works of the enemy and how he brings those terrible things into our life, those disasters, those trials, oftentimes within the family. Yet God in this story says, the blood is for you. If you have the blood upon your household, I will pass over you. Don't worry about that. And, you know, we see the blood of Jesus talked about all, of course, in the Gospels, but I like to think of it like this if you unify and you plead the blood over your household, those disasters, those trials, they do not have the authority to cross the bloodline. That's right. They must pass over. They must pass over. So God really spoke to me through that scripture and he was like, yes, you know, and it really painted the picture for me of how God, just from Genesis to Revelation, is just painting a picture of his will, painting a picture of what we need to do. Yes, it's a totally different thing. We're not talking about works of the enemy, we're talking about what God is doing to these people, but nonetheless, he says in that passage, plead the blood and this will not happen.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Plead the blood, and this disaster shall come to pass. And I think it it may even tie into Paul and Isaiah too. There were many times that, you know, they were they felt themselves unworthy. Or I'm sure Paul had hard times stepping out in faith. He probably had people coming against him all the time. Yet Paul had something, since Isaiah was a prophet, Paul knew he had known about the crucifixion. He knew the blood of Jesus was spilled. He knew that he could plead that. Isaiah did prophesy about that as well. But Paul was living in that post-crucifixion era. So he knew what it was that if somebody was coming against his teachings, if somebody was coming against the word of God, he could plead the blood over that. Absolutely. He could plead the blood over the place he was preaching, the people he was preaching to. I'm sure he did over every message. But I've the main thing I wanted to draw from that was just unifying. And I know we do it many times here in this home. Um, just get together and plead the blood. Plead the blood, because you know, the enemy will try his genuine best to get into any part of the family. Um, especially if, say, one of you is, you know, chasing after God, maybe the other's got a little less energy than that one does today. The enemy will try his best to sneak in. But as long as you plead the blood and you have that spirit of unity, not just amongst your family, but if you have that spirit of unity with the people of God and the bride of Christ. Yeah. Even when those things go awry, even when the bloodline seems like it's fading, you have those people to lean on.

SPEAKER_00

That's crazy that you are talking about the the blood because that's that that's what mine is.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, God is good.

SPEAKER_03

People are gonna say it's rigged. People are gonna say it's planned. Well, they did bring you two together. So I mean, I mean there it is.

SPEAKER_00

Well, um, that's because I was gonna talk about how pleading the blood over your life over anything daily is so important because I know I started I heard it um pastor preach it a long time ago saying, you know, just when you wake up in the morning, just plead the blood over your life and go about your day.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And I started doing that every single morning, and my days were like great. And then if I would forget to do it, I actually would not have a great good day. Like something would happen, I would be more frustrated than usual. I would like somebody would push my buttons more than usual, or you know, stuff like that. So pleading the blood over your life, over anything is just so important, and um, like when it comes to Charlotte, like anytime something starts to happen with her, like I'm just like, please the blood of Jesus over this right now, and uh it gets better. Yeah because you have you have to believe it. That's another thing. Yes, you can't just say it and not think anything's gonna happen. Like you have to believe it. Um, so that's it's just so powerful. Like, you're the blood is just like it's like the number one thing that like I use in my life. Like, you know, any like I need some need to pray for something, that's what I start with. I need to pray for other people, that's what I start with. Plead the blood over them right now. Plead the blood over, you know, this sickness over this injury, whatever it may be, like that's so important. Yeah, and like the big thing is you have to believe it.

SPEAKER_01

That's right. I I like that you focus in on the faith aspect of that. It's not it's not a ritual that we're going through. It's like, okay, I'm pleading the blood. Now I'm gonna go do this.

SPEAKER_00

You're not actually like, you know, painting blood over something.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_00

But yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, there's faith involved with it. That's right. I like that. Yeah, yeah. So what did you have?

SPEAKER_00

I had Ephesians 1 and 7. In him we are redeem in him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses according to the riches of his grace.

SPEAKER_06

There it is.

SPEAKER_00

So and um I had that and I was gonna talk about, you know, what I just said. And I know you had mentioned you wanted me to talk about, you know, motherhood a little bit.

SPEAKER_04

Sure, yeah, whatever. You do whatever you're led to do. Uh I'm just here.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I guess I'll talk a little bit about it. Like, so I really started pleading the blood over my life whenever I was pregnant at the beginning. Now, the beginning was really hard, like I had to lean on Josh a lot for like like strength and to like pray for me because it was really hard. And like, like we were talking about at the beginning, like you need other people to help you through it sometimes. And and then when I started getting better, like I had more obviously this kind of sounds bad, like I got was getting better. I'm like, okay, yeah, now I'll focus on my relationship, which a lot of people do do, but you have to focus on in the hard times too, which is why other people are important to help you through that. Anyways, I started um pleading the blood over my life over Charlotte, you know, while I was pregnant, and like I was saying, like my days were good, like all that. And then, you know, come the time where she's born, everything well through the whole pregnancy, like not we didn't have any problems at all. Like, she was perfectly healthy the entire time, I was perfectly healthy, other than like, you know, the normal pregnancy stuff, and um, which is uh uh evidence of the goodness of God and the blood that you bleed over your body. Um that and so when she was born, I uh was fine at first, but then when we got home, like I was like really dizzy, like lightheaded, like I knew something was wrong, but I didn't really want to go to the hospital. So like I was just like like in my head, like like just pleat the blood over this, like you just like you take care of it right now, and you just you literally white literally have to say that and then forget about it. Like if you stew on it, if you think about it, like you're still worrying about it, then you're not truly believing that his blood will heal you, um, will deliver you from whatever you're going through. So, anyways, I did that and I was sick, and then literally, like by the end of the night, like I felt so much better. Like it was just like a like a miracle because I definitely because I had met texted my doctor and she was like, You go to the ER, but I was like, mm, I don't know about that. So I ended up being perfectly fine. I didn't have to go to the ER, I was I felt great after, and so that's just evidence of that. Yes, and then um with Charlotte, like she she's not been like had any issues or anything, but like she has a tortoullis, and you know, you can plead the blood over that, but then we got the help that she needed, like her therapy that fell into place, and pleading the blood over that, and just everything like falls into place, even though it might be not be picture picture perfect. Things fall into place and you get the help that you need, you get the healing that you need, and you just constantly have to do it. Like I do it every single day.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Before she goes to sleep, before we go to sleep, I do it over myself, I do it over you while you're driving, and just like everything. You it really it really works when you really truly believe it.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, 100% it does. Yeah. Can't let doubt creep in. No, that's the key, you know. And that's one thing that, you know, when you talk about, you know, pleading the blood, praying, that's one thing that I do. I grab and I hold Angie and pray every morning before we go to work. Pray for protection, a hedge of protection around us, my family, everybody. Every single morning before I walk out that door. Yeah. And man, it yes, it works.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it does. Yeah. Cause I know like when when I am struggling or if I'm, you know, falling back into, you know, with you know, postpartum and like freshly becoming a mom, it it's hard. Like you go through trials and it's really a test of your faith, I think, too. Cause, you know, becoming a mother and a father is very um it is a gift and it's definitely a test for the five.

SPEAKER_03

It is a test, yes.

SPEAKER_00

And so at the beginning, you know, there was lots of times where I had to really we had conversations where he had to help me like break through walls that I had built up. Not that like things were going bad, but like with all the emotions and everything that's going on, like you your flesh and your emotions naturally build up walls that you have to eventually break down and just give it to God because He will take care of it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and you can definitely feed off of everybody. You feed off of Josh. I can do Nancy feed off of me as far as spiritually. Yeah. But the thing about it is is that when you feed off of, you gotta intake it. Right. Right? You gotta consume it. And then once you consume it, then you need to start growing. Then you need to start, then you need to start stepping out in faith, and then you need to be obedient. Now I have fed, I have got what I needed. Yeah now I gotta now I gotta do what I need to do.

SPEAKER_00

You can't only survive and live off of other people's right. It's it's it's almost just like a lifeline. Like, please help me. Okay, now I have to go back and I have to pick myself back up and get back on the right track.

SPEAKER_04

And you know, that's what I'm really gathering from that is, you know, when we because a big big part of my testimony is for a long time I I went to church for, you know, just because mom and dad were going to church. I was living off of somebody else's faith. Um but the thing about that is when you're living off of somebody else's faith, you're not getting it from God, you're getting it from them. And human, the human spirit eventually will run out. Yeah, eventually will break. But when you finally realize that you can start getting faith straight from the Father, yeah, there is an abundance in that.

SPEAKER_00

And it's so much better, really.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, there's an abundance in that faith, and you feed off that and you feed off it, and when you realize how abundant it is, you realize you don't have to feed off of anybody else anymore. But it's beautiful to have people of such great faith around you so that you know what, I see they're struggling, I see maybe they're not really coming to the Lord like they should. I'll give them a little bit of faith.

SPEAKER_00

That's why, you know, we ha you ask people to like I need prayer, like you know just back to the beginning, like that's all about the community.

SPEAKER_01

That's right. All about unity. I I like that you you said you know it's not picture perfect, but that because I think it's it's our perception. It's not going the way we wanted it to go. And if that's not the case, then you're like, all right, something's wrong, I need to fix it. Uh, when you talked about, you know, you were going through something and you prayed about it and said, Okay, I just gotta let it go. I actually ran into that problem that had the opposite. But the Lord was so patient with me because I was having uh several years ago I had hernia surgery, and recently I was having some little bit of pain come back, and I was like, man, I'm just gonna muscle through it and I'm not gonna worry about it. And I just keep going, kept going, and I was just not really paying attention to it. And then finally it started really bugging me. I was like, I do not want to go have another surgery. This is this is not happening. So the point that I was like, well, what are you doing, man? Go up to the altar and pray over it. You know, have the elders of the church get the well, and we did it on a Wednesday night. Well, me, it didn't, I was like, in the morning, the way it didn't go the way I wanted to go, the pain was still kind of there, and I was like, I'm gonna call the doctor and just you know let it go, and you know, I guess it's just not God's will. And so I called doctors, set up the appointment, and he of course he's the doctors around here are ridiculously busy, so it was three weeks out. And by week two, it's absolutely fine. No pain, no nothing. And I was like, Well, I'm gonna go ahead and keep the appointment. I made it. So I go in there and he's like looks around and stuff, and he's like, it's all fine, there's nothing wrong here. And I was like, I know, but in my mind it wasn't happening the way I should have done. But like you had talked about, he's like, pray about it, you gotta bel have that faith and then say that. Exactly. And so don't feel like you're alone, or any of us are alone sometimes when it's not going that picture-perfect way that we have in our own mind. Like, okay, God, I gave it to you, but I'm gonna take it back because you're not handled the way I think you should handle it. Let me take it.

SPEAKER_04

Let me just mess it up. The the faith behind the prayer is so important and the belief behind it. You know, when the woman of the issue of blood pressed through the crowd to touch Jesus' garment, she touched it and she was healed instantaneously. Yes. And God turned around and he picked her up, and she's like, and he's like, you know, what why would you just touch my garment? Why just my clothing? She's like, I knew if I could just touch your clothes, I'd be healed. And he goes, Well, it wasn't my clothing that healed you, but it was your faith. That's right. It was the faith behind the action that healed you. It's a powerful thing, man.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Unity and faith. I guess that's the theme of the episode. There you go. Yes. I guess that's gonna be the title. You never know. There you go. It's either gonna be that or filming the podcast with the Lego collection in the background.

SPEAKER_01

There you're gonna keep them in there in the frame.

SPEAKER_04

Shame we couldn't get them out, Jesse, man. Shame we got. All the good ones are like over there. Shame we couldn't get them out. Man, that stinks. Well, we can see it. Yeah, we'll we'll we'll we'll edit it out. But we got one more uh segment we're gonna do. Um this is an awesome segment, and I'm actually working on a way to uh get a Spirit Unleashed podcast playlist available for anybody to listen to. So we'll um we'll start once I get it figured out on how to get everybody access to it and not just certain people, um, we'll we'll start adding our songs from each week on there. Okay. And I'll tell you what, a few months in, we're gonna have one of the best worship playlists I've ever seen. Yes. I'll tell you what, it will have a worship playlist that you can run a worship night off of about that. So um we'll go into our worship song of the week, what you got, what song is speaking to you, what song is really pressing your heart. Did you have an encounter with God with this song this week? What was really powerful in this song that you heard? And we'll start with our beautiful guest. Sierra, what is your worship song of the week?

SPEAKER_00

Well, it's kind of been my song for a few weeks now.

SPEAKER_03

Oh boy, it's fun.

SPEAKER_00

I kind of like Find a song and then I like, you know, stick with it for a minute.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Yeah. It's been months.

SPEAKER_02

It's been months.

SPEAKER_00

It's um called Waging War by C C Wynans.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

And it's really an upbeat, it's like an upbeat song.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Do we play it or no?

SPEAKER_02

We don't want to come back. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can sing it.

SPEAKER_00

So um no, I'm not gonna sing it. But um basically what she's talking about is like she's tired of the devil messing with her, like she's waging war, like she's like I'm done with it, devil get off of me. Or I'm going to war. Like Jesus has got me, he's got our backs. Like it really, like when you listen to the song, it just makes you like, yeah, I can do this. Like it really makes you like, like, yeah, I can do this, like, no big deal. Like, the devil ain't got nothing on me. Like it's very, very up of me. Very makes you feel like you can do anything.

SPEAKER_04

You can conquer anything like it right there. Exactly. It's that old school CC1 in the song. It's not, you know, old ones, yeah. That's one of her older ones, but yeah, it's a great song.

SPEAKER_00

And she also talks about like anoint my head, anoint my feet, like anoint me to like where I can like she's singing, like, yeah, I I'm gonna wage war, but I'm gonna use God's strength, like anoint me to do so.

SPEAKER_02

Full armor, yeah. Yeah, it's a beautiful song if you have a chance to listen to it. I'll think of her too.

SPEAKER_00

It really is, but I stumbled upon it by accident.

SPEAKER_04

So that's the best one, yes. That's right, that's right, yeah. I love that's why I love doing YouTube music because I can do uh, you know, just it'll pull up related. I'll be driving to work and I'll just be like zoned out, whatever, and then all of a sudden my ears will like refocus on the music, and I'm like, what is this playing through speech right now? And immediately add it to the playlist. Um yeah, powerful song though.

SPEAKER_00

We only add one more thing to it. So she also talks about how like there's battles being fought that are unseen. Like God, like in the angels, like are fighting battles that we can't see. Like just because you know something is not happening right this second, like there's stuff going around in the spiritual realm. In the spiritual realm, yes. That is like um like protecting us from things, yeah. Just yeah. It really it's really a great song to like just like yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

The Bible says there's a warring within our members.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's what she's talking about.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, there's a constant battle being fought. Yeah, you gotta understand that God is always fighting for you. Yes, you know, he's on our side, not just in trials, not just in storms, whatever, he's always fighting for you. Yeah, that's like the song is Lord, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

No, seriously, that's literally what it is.

SPEAKER_03

She's gonna put the song repeat. I know I've heard I've heard it enough over the past few months.

SPEAKER_02

I know what the song is about. I have, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Maybe I'll close out music again. No doubt. Let me just move into mine before we can talk about it. Anyways, um, my worship song of the week is um it's called No One Like the Lord. Um, there's a lot of different people that sing it. You could take any version. I I'm really focusing on the lyrics here. Um, but the chorus is just talking about, you know, um, you know, God, we lift you up. You are the holy one. There is no one like the Lord. Um, it even talks about um in the bridge of the song, it talks about Jesus sitting on the throne, not, you know, the Spirit of God, not, you know, just God the Father. It talks about Jesus taking the throne. Nobody like him. No one would take that sacrifice. And it speaks to me every time because I just get to thinking about, you know, all the battles that Jesus fought for us, even when he was on earth, yeah, fighting for not just the people that were there at the time, but for the people that came before and the people that are to come after him. Fighting the battle, bearing the weight of sin, going into the wilderness, proving that he can resist the devil and bear the entire weight of sin. Um there's just nobody like the Lord. There's no one like him. Um we actually watched for Easter, we uh we watched Passion of the Christ. I've seen we've seen it before, but you know, we're just re-watching it. And I forgot about the scene. It it's like the opening scene of the movie when he's uh in prayer in in the garden, um, you know, where the disciples are falling asleep and he goes into prayer. And uh the actor that is representing the enemy in that movie, or the actress I should say, is just saying I think it's a woman, anyway. Um the actor representing the enemy is just like do you really think one man can bear the weight of all sin? Do you really think that you're not gonna cave into me, this, that, and the other? And in the movie, it you know, it's it's portrayed, I don't know, we don't know if that's exactly what happened, whatever. But yeah, I think celebrities. It's a powerful display that you know, Jesus gets up off the ground and there's a snake crawling towards him, and he uses his heel and he crushes the head of the serpent right after that prayer, and he just proves there's nobody like me. Yes. There's no one like me. I am the son of man, the messiah. I can bear that weight, I can take it for you, and that's what I'm gonna do. There's just no one like the Lord. That song just spoke to me.

SPEAKER_00

Nobody that'll get you emotional, that's it.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_01

I got mine. Uh I think it comes along right as alongside what you're talking about. But mine is I Know a Name by Elevation Worship. I think that Brendan Lake and Chris Brown star on that one. There are songs that I like to get out into the uh uh when I go work out with a running, jogging, or something like that. And I'm that there's one that I I kind of do what you're talking about, like there's one that I may just go to every time, but I love YouTube music. So when I start with that one and it is hit on the track and get going, and I'm sure I look like a fool in front of you know the neighbors that were watching because I'm like, it's a certain price, and I'm like, oh yeah, there we go, that's it. It's just just my moment just to get away from everything else and some time to praise the Lord. But I just I love this song when it ta talks about, you know, I I know a name that can silence the war and w uh waves that empty out a grave, and then it just goes into I call you Jesus, I call you healer, just all the things that he does, and I could just praise to the uh throughout this whole song when it gets into the bridges that every time I call your name, chains break, dry bones wake, uh just continues to go on and on and it gets me pumped and ready to go. I I don't think you can be down and depressed, listen to this song and remain that way. Right, there's you're just ready to come out. Yes, there is absolutely yeah, 100%. And that there's just no better name than Jesus.

SPEAKER_04

Oh yeah. You're 100% right though. You you turn that bad boy on, let me tell you. If you're in a bad mood, you ain't gonna be. Yeah. And if you still are after that, we're gonna lay hands on him. Because let me tell you turn it up a little bit. Yes, right.

SPEAKER_03

It may or may not be in the playlist already. Oh boy. I knew as soon as I saw the look he had, I was like, I see that's like it. Oh man, come on. Come on now. It's a good one. Yeah, it is a very good one. It's a very good song. It's a great song. Um my song is is the Call God.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

By Elevation Worship.

SPEAKER_01

No, there's no one, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And um I heard this for the first time, I think yesterday morning on my way to work, I heard it. And man, it spoke to me, which I put it out, I think, in the in the men's text group. It spoke to me, you know, as far as calling God, man. Just don't call God, you know, calling God, you know, on the mountaintop, calling God. I'm gonna call God when I'm in the valley. I'm gonna call God just to thank him for everything he's done in my life. Just call God. Man, I'm telling you, when I heard that song, I was like, yes. Yeah, man. And I and another song that I had been listening to, and he heard it, I think last week he pulled up on me, is um that's another one by Elevation Worship, and it's it might get loud. Might get loud, yeah. Let me tell you something. I had I had that one blowing pretty good now. It's a it's a pretty good song. I don't know if we'll we'll play it in church though, so just but it it is a good song.

SPEAKER_00

It's like one of them in-betweeners, Amy. Yeah, it is.

SPEAKER_03

It's definitely one of those in-betweeners. But that uh but the song Call God by Elevation Worship. If you ain't heard it, listen to it. It's a powerful song.

SPEAKER_04

That whole uh that whole So Be It album by Elevation Worship is unbelievable. You know, you got Call God, you got Jesus be the name in there. Yes, you got So Be It in there. There's a ton of songs in there that are powerful. Yeah, but I I pulled up on this guy yesterday. It was either the day before yesterday or yesterday, might get loud max volume in the in the Toyota, in the work parking lot while I'm tapping. Yeah, tapping my stuff out there. Yeah, he's like he's like outside the truck, like dancing. I'm like, I said, you really that song has really got a hold on you, huh? He's like, yeah, yeah, it really does. It's crazy.

SPEAKER_00

It's never a wrong time to praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_04

No, I'll tell you what. And you need that song more than ever before you go into work. Yeah, praise the Lord. I'll tell you what. You need that little jump of joy before you walk in.

SPEAKER_01

He's got a little bit of David in you. You're not afraid of whoever's looking you, take off those kingly robes and start going at it. I like it.

SPEAKER_04

He's got no he's got no fear in it, man. He's got he's got the office where everybody can see him from the parking lot, the windows, you know. Yeah. He don't care, man. But again, talking about the workplace, talking about uh being the example. People have seen that.

SPEAKER_06

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_04

And they want it. Yes, and they're asking about it. And I'm telling you, man, we we see powerful things outside of the church. Yeah, we do. Yeah, we do. If you really just look in your life and look at where God is working and you pay attention and you listen, you can see Him do some powerful things. Not just when you're in an atmosphere of praise and worship, but if you just are sensitive to the Spirit at all times, man, you can just witness some powerful things.

SPEAKER_01

I think it takes that consistent time being watering while you're in church and in a prayer life as well at home and stuff. But those moments that allow you to grow and and bear fruit out when you're out there on most work in the world, in Walmart, wherever it is.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_04

Absolutely wonderful. I'll tell you what, this has been a very fun episode. It is enjoyed, right? Um we've been a little close-knit in here in the office, but I like being close to everybody. It's fine. It's unity. Thank you, Jesus, for it. We needed something. Yeah. We need it at all times. Well, I feel like the spirit has just been moving in this conversation. We should acknowledge his presence for sure and just pray blessings and everything to the viewers listening right now. Lord Jesus, we thank you, God, for this wonderful opportunity to come before you, Lord, in this Holy Spirit-filled conversation. Lord Jesus, we thank you for the unifying spirit that you sent, God. We thank you for the bride of Christ, for the people that you have put in our lives, for the people that are always around us, supporting us. God, we thank you for you, most of all, being the ultimate supporter, being the ultimate spirit of support and unity, God. We know that we can rely on you through anything, Lord Jesus. We know that we can lean on you. We know that you have us in your everlasting arms. And I thank you, God, for that wonderful spirit that you sent. Thank you. Lord, I thank you for these three vessels here with me tonight, God. Thank you. I thank you for their faith. I thank you for their obedience. I thank you for their sensitivity to your spirit. I thank you, God, for using them to speak to these people listening, watching this podcast, Lord God, on YouTube, wherever it may be. Lord, I just want to speak a hedge of protection over everybody that is under the sound of my voice right now. Anybody that is listening to this prayer, I speak a protection upon their mind and their heart against all attacks from the enemy. And Lord Jesus, I speak a spirit of transformation and unity upon the viewers and listeners of this podcast, God. I pray that you come into their life with that unity like you never have before. Give them the revelation that through unity, miracles can happen. Through unity, healings can take place. Through unity, prayers will be answered. And if it's not unification with their family, it's unification with you, God, with your spirit. Yes. We thank you, God, for your blood, Lord Jesus. The blood that was shed on Calvary, that we can plead, that we have authority to plead, and no attack of the enemy shall cross that bloodline in Jesus' name. I plead the blood over these listeners today. Yes. I plead the blood over their life, over any situation that may be happening in their life. For the blood will truly wash them clean, and it will protect them from anything that comes their way. Lord Jesus, I just want to thank you lastly for your mercy and grace. God, without your mercy and grace, we truly could not be saved. And I thank you for letting them be so abound in our lives for the abundance of it that you pour out each and every day. We love you, Lord Jesus, and there is truly nobody like you, God. In Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Man. What a powerful episode. What a wonderful conversation we've had. Feels good to have a conversation after, you know, a couple weeks, you know. Yes. Man, I'll tell you what, I look forward to filming these because it just, yeah, I don't know about y'all, but gives me an opportunity to just get my thoughts out there. Yes. Because I mean I I know dad especially gets thoughts all throughout the day. Yep. And you know, gives us an opportunity to talk about them.
