In this episode, we dive into the power of obedience and how saying “yes” to God—even when it’s difficult—produces real, lasting fruit in your life. We talk honestly about what obedience looks like in everyday situations and how God uses it to shape your character, deepen your faith, and open doors you never expected.

We also share our favorite worship song of the week and why it’s been speaking to us in this season—it might just become one of your new go-to songs too.

Plus, we tackle a tough and real-life church scenario, breaking down how to respond in a Christ-like way when emotions, opinions, and conflict are involved. If you’ve ever struggled with navigating difficult situations within the church, this conversation is for you.

Whether you’re in a season of growth, waiting, or challenge, this episode will encourage you to stay obedient, stay faithful, and trust that God is working in ways you may not yet see.

Hello everybody and welcome back to the Spirit Unleash podcast. I'm Josh Cox, got brother Jesse Garza and Kyle Cox here with us again, episode, I think it's 13 of the podcast. Oh, really? I'll tell you what, 13. We've been uh posting quite a few weeks now, so you know I'm proud of what we've done. I'm proud of what the Lord is doing through the podcast. Um if you guys hear the screaming in the background, that's my daughter Charlotte. She's trying to get it to go to bed. We don't have this room soundproof. So it's gonna be okay. But uh Jesse was just saying before we start a recording, it just shows the you know realism of the podcast. Keep it real in here. We just gather and talk about Jesus and let the Holy Spirit flow, and wherever that has to happen, that's where we make it happen. Absolutely. Um we don't really have uh much extra plan for today other than the regular segments that we've been doing. We've been loving the conversation with those segments, so we're just gonna keep doing that. If you guys have any suggestions for segments or anything you'd like for us to talk about on an episode, please comment it down below. Make sure you engage with this episode, like, share it with somebody, and subscribe to the channel, turn on the notifications. Uh, we've got some good stuff coming. In fact, me and Jesse were just talking about uh last week and a great idea for a video that we're gonna be doing, so I'm very excited for that. Uh check out the recent Bible study we posted, and we're gonna keep these podcast episodes coming, of course. Um but we can just start off with some general, you know, conversation, just talking. I know me and dad just got back from a men's retreat this past weekend. Um what a what a powerful move of God. And you know, surely we've talked about it on the podcast before, but there's no greater joy than seeing somebody transform their life for Christ. You know, um there's no greater joy than you know, you get to see these guys over a weekend come in and just watch them pour their hearts out, you know, at a repentance experience. You get to see some get baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. I mean, there's nothing, truly nothing like it.

SPEAKER_03

No, there's nothing like it. We had a recently, you know, we had one um participant that had left um and that we had a brother that had reached out to him, or he reached out to him to go meet him today. Uh he went and met with him, read the scripture, and he was baptized today. They baptized him in the beach at the beach. So that was that's that's phenomenal. That's phenomenal. That's being that that's being obedient.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, I I I I think when when just when you were kind of talking about that and going through it, I was like, man, that's really being a disciple. That's what disciples should be doing. Yeah. And um I if I correct me if I'm wrong, I'm trying to remember, but I don't think Jesus actually baptized anybody in the Bible. It was his disciples that were doing. And so I think that's what we've been called to do is to to witness to people, to to pray with them, uh and to baptize them, lay hands on them, whether it's uh you know, looking for a healing or the receiving of the Holy Ghost. And so that's that's awesome. I think if all heaven rejoices on one person being saved, we should be rejoicing and be able to be a part of that work. Absolutely. No matter the day, the time, when he tells you, you go.

SPEAKER_01

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And that was really the theme of the whole weekend, just uh surrendering to the Spirit and letting Him take over and just not getting in the way. Um because you know it's so important, you know, when you start living your life with God and you really get past those baby steps of your relationship and you start to serve and you start to be a disciple, it's so important to lean on the Spirit and not your own flesh or your own agenda.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um, because it can get dangerous, you know. Um I had uh, and I'll I told Dad this earlier, it's kind of a funny testimony, but um, I had something occur yesterday. We were uh at a uh meeting honoring mom with her new position and everything, uh, and I had stepped out of the meeting after uh her accolades were done and everything. And I was sitting in the lobby of that place uh with Charlotte on my lap, just kind of bouncing her, trying to get her to calm down a little bit, and there was a cop sitting in there. And for some reason, I just felt something in my spirit with with this guy. Um and at first I questioned it. I was like, well Lord, I mean, he doesn't seem like you know, he's got nothing going on, you know, whatever. And uh so I didn't think nothing of it, and I walked out. And we got to the car, and I couldn't shake the feeling. You know, Sierra was um feeding Charlotte the bottle in the car, and we were talking about it, and uh she had told me she was like, Well, if you feel like you need to go talk to him, then you need to go talk to him. And all of a sudden I just heard in my head, I just heard go. So I get out of the car, try to go back up to the door where in the lobby where he said the door's locked, you have to scan in. Well, obviously I didn't have a way to get in, so I walked back to the car and uh was just waiting for Charlotte to get done eating so we could leave. But then I guess the meeting got over, and so everybody was flooding out the doors, and I see the cop walk out. And Sierra was literally in the middle of talking to me, and it was like the spirit just took over, and I slung the door open, ran over to this guy's squad car. Probably shouldn't run at the squad car, but anyway, I kind of waved him down, I was like this, hey, you know, he didn't really see any threat to me, I'm sure. But walked up to the window, he rolled it right down, and he was like, Yo, man, what can I do for you? And I said, I just want to ask you, do you need prayer for something? And he just looked at me and he was like, Man, I always need prayer, especially with this job and everything. So I took his hand and just prayed for him. That's awesome. And um, you know, he was like, Hey man, you know, I really appreciate that, you know, stay safe out there. Went on about my business, and I got it confirmed to me. I would have loved it to not be confirmed this way, Lord, but I got it confirmed to me that I did the right thing because when you're obedient to the spirit, the enemy doesn't like that.

SPEAKER_00

Right.

SPEAKER_02

And he will do everything he can to bring you down after that. So we get home, and uh I bring Charlotte in the house, and Sierra had a package delivered, so she was checking the mailbox out there. Well, she comes back in and she's like, hey, I don't know what this is. She gives it to me. And I open it and I was like, I guess the enemy really didn't like uh the obedience, it's a stinking uh speeding citation from one of the speed traps. Yeah, so I was like, that how fitting I go to pray for an officer, and then I get home and there's a speeding citation in the mailbox. I was like, oh my Lord. But it's just, you know, there's no greater joy than that. The release and the relief that I felt of that burden when you I prayed for that officer, and I was just like, man, you really the Lord will let you feel what they're feeling sometimes. Um and you just want nothing more but for them to receive the word, receive the prayer, and so that can that burden can be released, so that the peace of God can come upon them. Yeah. Um and if it gets confirmed, you gotta pay a citation, then you know it is what it is. Um the Lord will provide. Yes, he will. But I told dad this earlier, you know, I said uh if that you know $100 citation was the difference between him getting into heaven or hell, uh pay it every time. Every time, you know, no doubt.

SPEAKER_03

There's no price tag on salvation. Oh no. Whatever it takes.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

The funny thing is too, it can't be earned either or paid for. It's a free gift.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_02

That's right. Um he literally gifted it to us through the cross, through Calvary, and all that. Um and you know, that was something I felt heavy this past weekend too, was just salvation for these guys. And truly seeing one of the things I actually spoke there was, you know, um it's a life or death decision that you're making, truly. And not to get too heavy, but it really is. Yeah. You know, um, it's it's your eternity that you're that you're going after. Yeah. You gotta make that choice. But I promise if you do make the right choice, there's no better life. All right. No, sir. Nope, not at all.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and I told him when he we were sitting there talking about it, and I said I told him I said, It's funny that you say that, because I had wrote I had typed something up, you know, about uh uh question, you know. What do you do when God impresses on you to do something that doesn't make sense? Or you're like, seriously?

SPEAKER_01

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. How many times is that how many times has that happened to you? It's happened to me quite often. Yeah. You know, really Lord, you want me to do this right now? You know? It don't make sense. And I told him about the um, about, you know, in uh in Numbers, where Moses, where he told Moses, and they had he told Moses to speak to the rock, and so he could, you know, um, where the Israel, you know, the people of Israel have something to drink. And he was probably thinking, really? You want me to speak to a rock? And uh instead of speaking to the rock, he hit it with a staff three times. And then, you know, water came from the rock. But his lack of obedience cost him the promised land. Yeah. Because of the obedience. He didn't put his trust and he didn't obey God for what God told him to do. So you gotta be obedient. You know, there's sometimes that you know he can punish you.

SPEAKER_04

Sure. I, you know, it's interesting because you as you were talking through that, I was like, there's something going through my mind of thought, and I was like, man, I don't think that's right, that's quite right the direction we want to go in. But you kind of taught, you just mentioned it, and so I'll kind of talk about it, but I have been guilty of not doing what the Lord has led me to do. And similar to uh what was it, um uh Jonah in the well. Oh, yes. Disobedience takes you to places that you're like, okay, Lord, I'm sorry. Because there are times I kind of worked it out, like you said, it's God tells you to do something like that doesn't seem like how about God, I'll make a deal with you. How about I go do this other thing that I feel much more comfortable with? That's right. And that's good enough, right? And it's it's no, that's not what I asked you to do. And a lot of the times it's it's not to make it's not to make it God's not doing that to make a fool out of you. There's a soul in the balance. He's trying to get you to, he's leading you not just to to uh help yourself with with a testimony that you can share and and encouragement, but also to help reach another soul. And it's yeah, I tell you, it's much more satisfying or rewarding to do what God's asking you and leading you to do than it is to to resist and say, I'm not doing that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. And the beautiful thing is too, you know, a lot of people get stuck on uh, you know, oh well, I I know the Lord was speaking to me once and I didn't know Bam and I feel like he took a gift or something like that. The beautiful thing is, like, when you really look into that, we're all none of us are perfect. No. There's gonna be disobedience, there's gonna be times where we don't step out of the comfort zone, but there's these two beautiful things called mercy and grace. Is that you know, even when you do mess up, hey, you know what? We'll do it next time. You know, there's he'll flood. It says the word says there's mercy and grace abound in our life, meaning that it's just abundant and overflowing. So there there's always mercy in that, you know, uh when you do disobey. Now, I mean, if you it's almost like a bad habit, you know. Yeah. If you repeat it, continue it, and continue it, continue it, yes, you're only gonna make things worse for yourself. So, you know, you gotta make sure uh you are stepping out of your comfort zone and uh just trust that whatever God's gonna do in that, it it's never gonna be bad. Yeah. It's always gonna be something. Even if you get a bad response or reaction, you've planted a seed of faith and God's gonna water that seed and do something beautiful with it. Absolutely. So it's gonna be, you know, beautiful when you follow that spirit and the leading, guiding hand of the Lord. Um that kind of goes to my uh so I guess we'll just dive right in because my scripture that I have goes right along with this. So I'll just I'll just pop right in. But uh I wove this into my uh session that I taught over the weekend. Um, and I was telling dad about this, but the first two chapters of Acts have been on my mind so much recently. Um, you know, with the ascension of Christ and him commanding uh the people, the disciples, the apostles, to go to Jerusalem and wait for the promise of the Father. Um and obviously the those who were obedient, they received the blessing in the upper room of the Holy Spirit being infilled with, you know, God sending his Spirit, and uh that that goes right along with the obedience. But what I really want to highlight is at the end of chapter two, in Peter, at the end of Peter's message, says in verse 37 that, you know, when um they heard Peter's message, they were cut to the heart. And what I find truly interesting is that they asked Peter and the other apostles, they said, What do we do? What do we do, yes? What do we do? How do we receive what you've been preaching us about? And he tells them, you know, repent, be baptized in Jesus' name. You shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This promise is for you and all who are afar off, as many as the Lord shall call. And then it says that they baptized three thousand people into the kingdom. But what I really want to highlight is after they were baptized, at the very end of chapter two, it says they um were obedient, and they followed the apostles and what they had told them to do and all the principles. And then at the end it says the fear of the Lord came upon them, and mighty works and miracles were done. The Spirit of the Lord fell on them, right, and all these miracles, works were done because of their obedience. Yes, yeah. And uh it's truly wonderful to see, you know, even uh over the weekend with people that I prayed for, even that officer yesterday, to see the fruit being created. And you can vis sometimes you can visibly feel that branch just getting a little wider. Yeah, yeah. That branch growing a little bit more, and you see the good fruit produced from obedience. And when you do follow the leading and guiding hand of the Spirit, it's truly an awesome thing because it says, you know, a good tree will produce good fruit, bad tree will produce bad fruit.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So through your obedience, through walking in faith, obeying the word, getting in time with God every day, you're producing good fruit. And good fruit is always gonna bear seed, and the seeds are just gonna go on and on. Exponential growth. Yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. And I know we've been talking a lot about obedience. But the thing about it is obedience is key. Yes, salvation is 100%. We need to put the obedience part, get you got salvation, you got, but you have to be obedient. When the Lord speaks, when the Lord is in you, the obedience part, you have to obey what He what He has called you to do. You have to obey and live like He's called you to live. And I'll get into my scripture, which, you know, bends where there. Uh, but it's a it's one that's very prominent, you know, and we know it is, you know, trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. You know, putting your full trust in the Lord. I didn't put my full trust in. I'll just be honest with you. I mean, I'm just being real, you know, for the fur for the I would say, you know, we talked about this, I think, last uh Wednesday night, the difference between faith, you know, and faithfulness. You know, you have the faith, you know, you believe in God, you you you come to church, you do the things at church like you're supposed to, you know. You have the faith. But putting the faith into action, right? Yeah.

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_03

You know, I I struggled with that. You know, yeah, I was doing all the things for, you know, for a while, but once I started being obedient, once I started being putting the faithfulness into my faith, that's when my life turned around. That's when things started clicking, that's when the light started shining brighter than it has ever shown. And putting my full trust in the Lord and not leaning on my understanding. Yeah. Not leaning on Brother Jesse's or Brother Josh's or, you know, or my wife's or, you know, the pastors, but leaning on his understanding, man, you grow like no other. Oh, yes. And things, you know, they're shown to you, you reveal things, and you're blessed. Are there gonna be struggles? Yes. Are there gonna be times when, you know, um the light gets dim sometimes? Yes, it is, but you know, you the the power source is him. Oh yes. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

He is full of abundance. Yeah. And what I find beautiful about what you said is a lot of people don't realize that when you uh seek salvation and you go after it and you receive it, you've already started to be obedient. You've already obeyed the word of God just by turning to him. That's right. Just by receiving the salvation. You know, it says uh Jesus tells them to bear your cross and follow me. That's what you're doing. You're bearing your cross and you're taking it to his feet, and you're leaving it there because he already took the weight of it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

You're just giving it to him. Right. You're giving up those worldly ways, the sin, everything that you're living in, all that stuff that's on your cross, you're following him and you're leaving it at his feet. You're already you've already started obedience. Yeah. So, you know, you you've got obedience abundant in your life the moment that you turn your life to Christ. And it's a wonderful thing. Yeah, it is. It's beautiful.

SPEAKER_04

It's so just liberating and and you know, just full of peace when you're in the obedience unto the Lord. Yes. Yeah. So good. I'll I'll jump to my scripture because I think it goes right along with what we've already been talking about. Um and this was the scripture as I was talking before the podcast that confirmed to me the song that I needed to play. Okay. But uh it's uh 2 Chronicles 7.14 is probably very familiar, you know, scriptures of many people. If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and see my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive them their sins and will heal their lands. And it's just as you can see in the scripture, there's there's an obedience part of uh that's required upon the people that are called by his name, and that is to turn from your wicked ways, to repent. And it it may seem that hard at times, but one thing that I I like about that scripture is that I just this came out to me um uh Sunday when uh pastor that was the scripture from the uh first service was people called by my name. There's there's no there's no if they are called by my name. It's saying it says which are called by my name. There is no and if, there's no they they are they are called by my name. I've called them and not and God's not repenting of that. Yeah, right. But he says, come if you would just turn to me, turn from those wicked ways, put your past behind you, and you know, as posts to the cross, if you put it beneath the blood, then uh in and you know, death unto those unto your past, yeah, then he's gonna hear you. He's gonna hear your prayer, he's gonna see that that obedience and do what he has said that he will do, and that's bless and restore and heal, and there's just so much that goes along with that with the obedience of repentance.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And I I think what's awesome too about that scripture is so many people miss the small promises that God makes in the scripture. You know, with that scripture saying, You already are called by my name. Yes. I all you're already mine. You're just choosing to ignore my influence or you're choosing not to follow me, but you're already mine. Scripture says, you know, at one day every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess. That's because we're already his. We're already called by him. In the scripture I brought up, Acts 2.38. I brought it up this past weekend at the end, it says, you know, be baptized in Jesus' name. It doesn't say then you may receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Then if you do this, it says you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Just those small promises God makes in the scripture. You cannot it's awesome when you can go back to a scripture and see something like that and you see it in a whole new light. Oh, yeah. You could see a whole Bible story in a whole new light just because of one word that God spoke and you didn't notice it the first time you read it or something like that. All the time. Yeah. It happens to me all the time, you know. Um one of the more recent times that happened was with um, I believe, and this this was a big theory. Me and uh Brother Sam talked about this this past uh a few nights ago we talked about it. Um, but we were talking about applying the name of Jesus to your life through baptism, baptizing in Jesus' name because his blood is truly the only blood that can fully remiss sin. Full remission of sin, can only come from the blood of Jesus because he was the perfect lamb sacrifice. So we were talking about this. I thought it was kind of cool, but I think God put it on my heart. Maybe, maybe it was just my creative mind flowing, I don't know. But um, we were talking, and I got to thinking, I was like, man, what if, and I I think this could be true, the first person that was baptized in Jesus' name, or was baptized under the blood, may have been that soldier that stabbed him with the spear. Because what does the word say came out of him? Blood and water. Blood and water. Yeah. And then as soon as it came out, he bows and he's like, what have we done? Yeah. Truly, this was the Son of God. And then Sam was like, Well, you know, but he was alive, and I was like, Well, that's a common misconception many people think in the scripture when he was stabbed, the wound in his side, thinking that that was like the final blow. But he had already said, Father, into thy hand, I come in my spirit. And they were just confirming that he was dead.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So the blood had already been applied.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

The work had already been finished. The blood was already there for the taking. And they confirmed that. The living water flowed out of him. And you know, if you know anything about getting wounds in the side, that dude was probably immersed. So you know. Abra's dreams. Yeah, that soldier. But it's just crazy, as soon as he caught a glimpse of that living water, instant revelation. Like truly, this was the Son of God that we just crucified. And it's a wonderful thing when you understand the true meaning of baptism and applying the blood of Jesus to your life, the amount of revelation you'll receive through the word, through other believers, it's truly remarkable. Yeah, it is.

SPEAKER_03

That's pretty creative. And if you think about it, that's pretty cool.

SPEAKER_02

I like when I when I like read scripture, you know, I like to almost like I guess put myself in the scripture and kind of imagine being there and what it would be like and seeing it and envision it. And I just thought I was like, man, like that dude had probably Jesus' blood all over him. More than likely. Yeah, I yeah, I agree with that. Living water from none other than the Lord Himself. Right. Would that constitute a baptism right there? And you know, maybe that revelation was him receiving the Holy Spirit at that moment, you know. We'll find out when we get to heaven on days. You can ask him then.

SPEAKER_04

I I I I agree with you though. I like putting my place myself as I read, you know, with a scripture or some other entertainment thing. Like, how do I fit in that? You know, what's going on there? Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That's that's good. Yeah. And I found sometimes too when you read, when you start reading like that, some I mean, you'll receive revelation just from that. You know, sometimes the Lord will speak to you when you ask that question in your head, what if I was in that scenario? Sometimes they'll be like, oh, this is what would have happened.

SPEAKER_04

I I agree with you because sometimes you're like, oh, you sit there and read there and in uh Exodus and you're like, God, these people are complaining? I can't believe it. And God's like, You you really? You think you would not be complaining then? Like, okay, Lord, I I I I need to do better. I apologize. You're right.

SPEAKER_02

He's speaking to you like these people didn't have smartphones back then. You complain when your phone dies, right? These people are stuck in the wilderness for months at a time. You think you wouldn't be complaining? Yes. That's 100% true. That's 100% true. Oh man. Another way we can find obedience in our life is through worship.

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

We got uh I've got a pretty good song this week, I'm not gonna lie. But um, we'll go into our worship song of the week. What song touched you this week, what song spoke to your heart, did you get a revelation from this song, the lyrics, you know, anything from it. And I'll I'll start. Um, one of the songs I've been listening to a lot lately, it's a more recent release uh from Brandon Lake. Uh it's called The Jesus I Know Know. It's uh him and uh I may have heard that one. Him and Lainey Wilson. She's actually a country music star. And um when we went to, me and Sierra went to that Brandon Lake concert a couple weeks ago. Yeah, one of the things he sang that song because it was a new release, one of the things he actually said and praised the Lord for was him getting the opportunity to speak and sing with these artists outside of the Christian genre. And he's he praised how the Lord has just opened so many doors for him to plant a seed of faith in these artists. And, you know, he said that he believes that, you know, these artists will, you know, begin to make more Christian music and glorify the kingdom with their platform. Uh but the song is basically just talking about the main part of the song is um he said it was more of Laney Wilson's testimony about how uh you know she grew up in a church that was just kind of a hardcore preaching church, saying that, you know, if you did this, you did this, then you know, you either wouldn't get to heaven, and then there's another part of the song that talks about, well, there's some churches that say if you do this and do this, then you'll be okay. But then the chorus gets into, you know, but uh uh it says that the Jesus I know now, um, he's not shaking a fist, he's not raising a brow, he's not a tyrant or anything like that. It even says that he hangs with the misfits and he forgives and forgives. And uh the whole song is just about them finding Jesus and the mercy and grace that he has. Um, and it's truly a beautiful story, and even at the end of the song, there's a little bridge. Uh Laney Wilson, I'm she's what a very popular country singer. She even goes into the verse and she says, you know, I got what I wanted, I heard my song on the radio, but even at the top it left me feeling lonely. And she talks about how there was nowhere left to go but running back to the arms of the Savior and receiving that true joy because there's no there's no true joy in anything else but Jesus. That's right. You can get a temporary high, you can get a temporary fix in this world, but the joy of Jesus Christ, when you get that in your heart, truly you get to know who he is.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, yes. I understand. And the one thing I love is that you know, the example Jesus left for us in the scriptures, and that is he was willing to go, you know, to the sinner. He won even went to the thief's house. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_04

It's a tax collector who was stealing.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And from people, and it's like, oh, I'm going to go to dinner at your house. And people looked at him and judged him for it, but thank God that he's you know, thank him for that he's willing to do that because so were we. Yeah, absolutely. Being sinners, and but that that doesn't keep him from us. And he wants, you know, wants us to draw. Now he does want us to you know turn from that sin and be delivered, but he's so he just has arms that are open, welcoming us in and drawing us and saying, could I love you, just come unto me. All that are weary and heavy laden. Yeah. And it's yeah, I I I haven't heard that song, but I need to listen to it.

SPEAKER_02

It's a great song. Um, it's a great song. And uh, you know, talking about look at Matthew as well, seen as a tax collector, but yet he was still in was in the exclusive twelve in that class. He was in the four. Exactly. So, you know. People I feel like oftentimes, you know, they dismiss the disciples and truly the beauty in that testimony.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

You know, the Lord himself walked and said, you know what, I could he could have went to the Pharisees and gotten the highest people in the social class, gotten all the priests and been like, hey, told them, you know, hey, I'm the Messiah, I'm gonna teach y'all how to preach. But he didn't do that because he came to fulfill the law. Yes, not abolish it. That's right. And it's yeah, but it's a good song. You guys should give it a listen. Uh I will, I will. You wanna go or you want me to go?

SPEAKER_04

I can I can go. Uh so Wednesday, this is actually one of the songs I play Wednesday, and I I almost it seems like I play it every time I get up there. And it I after I finished playing playing it, I was just talking a little bit with the crowd, get finally getting comfortable after not being up there for a year. Sunday. Uh yeah, Sunday. Yeah, leader worship service. Yeah. And um it is Zach Williams uh There Was Jesus. Oh yeah. Yeah, and so I asked him, I said, Is there a song that you feel like that was just sung for you or made for you? Because I I told him I was like, Hey, I feel like Zach Williams just sung that song for me. And you you guys don't get you can enjoy it, but it's mine. Yeah. And of course there's head nods like, oh yeah, there's a song that I just love, you know, or there's a song that I always like to listen to, I get choked up on about. But there's something about that song. I think I don't I don't know if it was you who first played it in the in that church. Yes, yes, it does. Uh but I can't remember if I heard it from you playing it in worship service, or maybe I heard it on my own first. Um but there's something about that song that just hits me. And one of the one of the lyrics in there that just really gets to the core of you know, my own testimony, but just you know, brings out just such I almost want to cry every time I hear it, is in the waiting, in the searching, in the healing, and in the hurting. There there was Jesus. And even though you could I I couldn't feel him at the time, but it was just how far it was because of where I was at. It wasn't that he wasn't there. That's right. It's that I wasn't in the right place to be able to fill him. But he was there. And um there's something about that that is just so humbling and but it's so encouraging that no matter um because even even David talked about sometimes he's like, Lord, where are you at? I you know, I go forward, I can't fill you, I go backwards, I go, but you I know you're there. So I'm gonna persist. I'm gonna just keep trusting. And that is just so encouraging and just so uplifting to know now with the relationship that we have with with Christ, that no matter what we're going through, we're never doing it alone. That's when we got a friend that's to get closer than a brother. And that's something that I can I draw strength from daily. Yeah. Um it's just so phenomenal.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it is phenomenal. There's power in that name, and every time you speak his name, I mean stuff happens. Yes. Things change. I mean, it's it's it's amazing. It really is. Um was it was it David as well?

SPEAKER_02

And I believe it was a Psalm of David that says, you know, you can't escape his everywhere he goes, can't escape his head.

SPEAKER_04

I could run to the highest height of the go into the deepest depth. Yes, I believe. It is a psalm. I can't remember if it was David that did that one, but no, I know I'm familiar with the one you talked about.

SPEAKER_02

But you can't you can't escape it. There is no escape. He's everywhere. And you know, you talk about him being there in the hurting and the healing and in everything. The Bible says he's as close as the mention of his name. Yes. So it's beautiful to see that even when you're not living for God, and even when maybe you haven't turned to God or received that salvation yet, he's still there. It goes back to what you said. We're already called by his name. Yeah. We're already his. He's already with us. It's just up to us to ignore the influence of the world and turn to the influence of Christ. Yeah, that's a great song, man. Yeah, that song chokes me up too every time.

SPEAKER_03

I'm like no idea. I think Josh already knows my song because Sunday starts a new week for me. I mean, it starts technically, it starts a new week. Sunday does. And uh me and him, you know, we had we had a session that he knows where I'm going. We had a set, we have a session, we have a father's son session that we do on Sundays. Yeah. And, you know, I was sitting back in the, you know, because I didn't have a participant, and I was sitting back, you know, when, you know, marinating in the spirit, and you know, and and the Lord, you know, he hit me with a song, he hit me when he said, This is, you know, this is the direction you need to go. Yeah. I said, okay. And that's the direction I went. So I had the guide, but the the song is it might get loud. Yeah, I know what you're talking about by Brandon Lake in Elevation Worship. Uh-huh. And man, a bit of a different tempo than Arms. Oh, yeah. That's fine, buddy. Yeah, I agree with you. But when I played that song, brother, let me tell you something. That place erupted. Yeah. And to feel the presence of the Lord, you know, when you got all of those men standing on their feet, giving glory, giving praise, and giving honor to him. And one of the lyrics, one of the lines in the lyrics is, why can't I praise him as loud as I want? Why can't I praise him as loud as I want? You know, parents, we go to games, we see our favorite football players, we we do all these things and we we'll scream our heads off at the TV or at a game or whatever the case may be or at our kids' game. But people will not give that same praise that they do on the TV or to their kid, to God. And that and yesterday, man, or Sunday morning, I'm telling you, when you praise like that and you have worship like that, heaven comes down. And when heaven comes down, man, it fills that room, and it was it was phenomenal. It was it was powerful.

SPEAKER_02

It really was. The devil has no choice but to flee. Yes. When you praise him in a praise and worship atmosphere, he's he's not welcomed in.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, I'm telling you, it shifted the atmosphere. Oh, yeah. And man, and before he ever got done talking, he had turned his back and every one of them was at the altar.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I mean it was a wonderful thing like that. But I was like, okay, he's like, okay, God, we're done.

SPEAKER_02

But it goes, it goes back to, you know, when when you follow the leading and guiding of the Lord, and when you can recognize the anointing upon him, and you just, okay, Lord, I'm just gonna walk in you. I'm putting putting my notes aside, I'm putting all this stuff that I wrote down away because I want you to speak your word. I want you to pour into these men or these women that are here in this service today. And yeah, it shifted the atmosphere. But the devil has no choice but to run from praise like that and worship when you have a worship atmosphere. We feel it at church all the time. Yeah. And I I know it's a prayer that I pray every time I walk into church services, you know, devil, you're not welcome here. No spirits of the enemy are welcome in this house today because we're building a holy atmosphere. And it's not just, and it can be anywhere. It doesn't have to be in a church building. We are the body of Christ. You know, it says we are the church, yes, the physical people. So you can create that atmosphere anywhere. Pleading the blood over your home, that's how you create that atmosphere. You know, the enemy's not welcome in your home or anywhere like that. And it's it was a powerful move of God, and it's a wonderful song, you know.

SPEAKER_03

And I'll go ahead and tell you this much. Church better be ready when it's in the morning or telling. Well, I'm I may not I may or may not I may and not I may not play that song because you know as much as bad as I want to, but I may not play that song, but I'm telling you, to get, you know, God's children pumped up for Him and to see that and to feel that. And once you feel it and you see it, yeah, man, it just makes the pastor's job that much easier.

SPEAKER_04

Now they've done got you've done got the atmosphere, you've got in their minds where it needs to be, and you deliver the word and Yeah, th I don't think there's there there it wasn't by chance or circumstance, it was by the design of the Lord when He led Israel into the promised land, the first uh city, nation um that they had to defeat was Jericho. And how did they defeat them? Praise and worship praise and worship brought the walls down. Yes, it did. And I think it's just so uh I I think it's all it's just so phenomenal. I get ex- I'm excited right now. Uh but can you imagine that for what I believe it was six days, because I think it was on the seventh day, if I remember correctly. Six days, you're walking around that wall. And what I I feel like I would have been like on by by day six was man, this wall is really well built. I have been looking at every single brick. There aren't gaps in this thing. I can't get up this thing. There is no, we we didn't we we he hasn't asked us to make some ropes yet and get some grapples or siege equipment. Yeah, what are we gonna do? And then he says, All right, guys, you walked around six days, one time. Now we're gonna go seventh time. Well, the seventh time, yeah, you're gonna start making a joyful noise with the Lord, and you're like, okay, all right, well, I'm gonna be obedient, and then walk around and say, all right, this is this is number six, all right. Trust in God, let's get our instruments out, let's do this, and then to look at them and not just see those walls come coming down, but there is not a life that was lost on the Israelite side. Rocks them come fall on them or anything like that. And so they fell flat, and it's just like, well, all right, we can I'm I'm ready to do anything. Those giants that were in the other land that were where they're as big as make us look like grasshoppers, we got it. Let's do this. The Lord's with us, let's take care of it. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

That's one of them opportunities where he told them to do something that didn't make sense to them, it didn't make sense. I'm saying, you want us you want us to do what? Yeah. Okay. Well they were obedient and they done it. Oof, yeah. And being obedient and trusting him.

SPEAKER_02

That's what happens. That's that is what happens. What up so I'm gonna go back to something you said, Dad, about how you know we'll give uh praise at like a sporting event or for kids or you know, whatever. My question to you know, everybody listening, everybody watching the episode pop uh episode right now did that football game on TV deliver you from addiction? Come on. Did that sporting event deliver you from depression, anxiety? We serve a God that literally takes away all those burdens in your life. No football player did it, no basketball player did it, no singer did that. God did that. Jesus stepped in at the time. So why would you not praise him for that? Thank you, Jesus.

SPEAKER_03

And not just sit back there, thank you, Lord. No. And please, I'm not talking about nobody's kids, please. Yeah, you know, give them, you know, give them celebrate. I'm not saying that. But the same celebration you give your kids, you had you need to give that to the Lord. Oh, yeah. And to the fullest of your if you don't want to scream it, you scream it. Because that's that's what he wants you to do. I mean, and then when you bring when you give him praise, man, it just, you know, heaven rejoices. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Who do you think blessed you with those kids in the first place? Exactly. Yes, sir.

SPEAKER_03

Exactly.

SPEAKER_02

You know, the Bible says they're a gift from God, like um, what is it, arrows and the quiver?

SPEAKER_04

Yes, arrows and the quiver. Man, we have a full quiver.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. That's right. It's joy. It's a powerful thing. Yeah, praise and worship.

SPEAKER_04

We don't praise and worship. There, they're the law it wasn't this time, but the last time I led praise and worship, I told them I said, hey, I could be up here all day. And uh so I guess I'm you know, yeah, I've noticed a little bit of like people calming down, so I'll stop. But I if I were to turn around and not pay attention, I'd play the whole playlist, you know, my 300 and something songs.

SPEAKER_03

The thing about it, the thing about it is that, you know, when you're when you're playing praise and work, you just you just gotta go with it. You gotta go with anointing. It it doesn't matter if you, you know, it if you're noticing some, worshiping some or not, but there's uh there's there's the one that is getting some out of it. And you just continue, if the Lord's telling you to continue to play, you don't quench the spirit, you keep playing.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Because there's gonna be the that next one or the next one or whatever it may be that changes that person's lives, that changed changes it completely. That when they walk out of there, they walk out of there with a light on them that nobody can put out off of that one song that you played that nobody else cared about, yeah, but that one person, and who cares?

SPEAKER_02

You never know who that next song is going to deliver. That's exactly right. You never know. Spirit true. You never know. And I got nothing but uh everybody was telling us about church on Sunday since we couldn't be there, but uh all the word I received about you leading worship and how it they could just feel that you were just following the leading and guiding hand of the Lord.

SPEAKER_04

It 100%, and I don't deserve any glory. It was it was all God because like I was telling your dad before we started the podcast, I was in such turmoil. Not about all the songs, because uh he he can do it, he can do it now because the Lord has blessed him and he's got a gift, and he may not acknowledge it, but uh I think you've mentioned you're like I start like Friday night or Saturday or something like that.

SPEAKER_03

I go it we yeah, I th I go throughout the week out this and it's a good thing.

SPEAKER_04

Well for me I had been every night. Yeah, I had been setting aside time, just like Lord lead me, lead me, lead me. And I struggled so hard with that first song because I didn't that I wasn't sure if it was this song or that song, but I got confirmation right at 10 o'clock, and it was like you just just play. I I he actually showed me on uh Sunday night or Monday night, this was the song I was supposed to play, but I got it, you know, I overcomplicated things. Yeah. But uh yeah, it's all God that gets all the glory for you know Sunday.

SPEAKER_02

We love to overcomplicate our life. Yes, we do. It's so simple, really. Really and truly, when you get down to it. It's very simple. We stress ourselves out, you know. There, yeah, there's sure there's a few specifics you gotta hit here and there, but if you're just obeying the word, yeah, it's simple.

SPEAKER_03

One of the brothers at one of the sessions, it may have been you. Anyway, what somebody had said was talking about pride. What's the middle letter in pride? Man, you gotta put it on the spot, is it? It's I, yeah. I yeah. You take I out of it, take me, take you, you know, and just let the Lord do it. Yeah. You can't go wrong as long as God's in it.

SPEAKER_04

No, yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_02

The only the only part of yourself that you need, and it's not part of your fleshly self, it's part of your true identity in Christ, the only part of yourself that you need is the obedience. That's right. Is the right choice. Having the discipline to follow that free will in the right direction. And that doesn't come from your flesh. No, it doesn't. I believe that. That does not come from your carnal mind or anything like that. That's truly a spirit-led thing. Yeah. The obedience, following the word of God. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it's obedience is better than sacrifice. He even told him he said, Oh, God's doing all this, but you're not being obedient. I'm not even gonna take your sacrifice. Yeah. If he lacks the obedience. Yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_03

Man, I gotta say, I gotta tell this. Go ahead. Yeah. So um we was playing golf Saturday, and I told Josh about this. I was playing golf in the golf tournament, not this Saturday, but past Saturday. And I was playing with Sam and uh two of the other brothers on the counter, Sean, which he's been on the podcast before, and uh Jason. Anyway, so I was asking him, I said, um, how many participants do we got? How many servers do we got? He said, Well, we got you know 15, 16 participants and so many servers. I said, Okay. He said, one of the participants speaks speaks Portuguese.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

And when he told me that, man, I was like, okay. So we pulled up, we had we was on, we was on, I don't know what hole we was on. I done forgot whatever hole. But anyway, we had pulled up there to the green. And man, I got the Holy Ghost. I walked up there to the I walked up to the put uh to to put and it got so heavy. On me. I I had gotten down like that right there, and I was like, and I told I told them, I said, Man, I just I he he just got me, he just gave me something.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, you gotta share, you gotta share. And I left him on Land and Finish Putton. But we got on up to the next hole. And um they told me to say, you need to share what it I said, okay. I said, you told me that the guy, one of the guys, one of the participants, is uh he speaks Portuguese, don't speak English. And I said, I said, also, I said, that God, when somebody gets that gets the gifts of the Holy Ghost, that they speak in other tongues. So somebody's gonna be able to speak the language for that participant to be for him to be able to understand what's going on.

SPEAKER_01

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_03

Dude. So we get there. Yeah. All right, we get to man. We get there, we get a participant, and I didn't have a participant, which was which was good. It took me a little bit, but anyway, we get there, and the guy that sat behind the guy that didn't speak English spoke Portuguese. Translated for him. It was unbelievable. Thank you, Lord. Brother, God. Let me tell you something. I was like, oh my gosh. And it's and it's things like that, man, that you see the evidence of God working. And it just, it's a faith builder, man. It builds your faith so much. And I, you know, and that's just something that I want everybody to be able to feel, to be able to see, to be able to receive. Oh, yeah. Is that faith builder? And once they see it, you know, we are human. You know, we we we're look we have to be able to see, to feel, the touch, the the evidence of things. And to be able to see the faith and to see things like that right there is physical evidence of God working and moving. Man, it just builds your faith so much and it makes you hungry. Oh, yes. It makes you hungry. It makes you hunt so hungry that you want more and you want to continue and you want to continue to eat. Man. Alright, I gotta quit. Oh, that's that's that's good. Oh it went.

SPEAKER_02

It was phenomenal, man. What what he can do through language is is awesome. You know, I saw the a TikTok, I don't know if I told you all about this, but I saw maybe in a TikTok video or some video recently of a pastor testifying um about a revival service he was preaching. And he said they had people at the altar receiving the Holy Ghost, and it people were truly turning their lives to God, and they had one man at the altar. And uh he told the pastor, he said, I won't um I won't claim Jesus as Lord unless he tells me himself in Hebrew. And they're like, Okay. Well, a lady a couple people down was uh had the Holy Ghost all over and she started speaking in tongues. Yeah, yeah. And that guy looked at the pastor and he said, She's talking in Hebrew. Because he could understand, he knew he had the Hebrew language, he knew what was going on. And the of course the pastor was like, Well, well, what is she saying?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And he goes, She just said, I am God, and my name is Jesus. You know, the things he can do is language, and it that's a whole nother episode. We're gonna begin to like we could we could talk about that for a long time. Oh, it's truly an awesome thing. But yeah, seeing that unfold was truly beautiful, and it's a huge faith builder. Oh, absolutely. Just seeing prayers answered and everything, you see the physical evidence of it, you know, it's it's unbelievable. Yeah, it is. Um, the last thing we'll do, um, we have the what would Jesus do segment. What would Jesus do? How should we respond in a Christ-like fashion? Um, give you how not to respond and then you correct me.

SPEAKER_03

I've got it, we gotta use one of the fruit of the spirit.

SPEAKER_02

Oh Lord.

SPEAKER_03

I've got maybe self-control this time.

SPEAKER_02

I've got one that, you know, this one might cause a little controversy, but it's very important to bring this up because it happens in so many churches across this world. Okay. So I believe it's very important. But the scenario is this you've been faithfully serving at your church for months, years even. You're always the one who says yes, volunteering for everything. Lately, though, you're feeling exhausted. You've got things going on in your life, you're spiritually drained, you've noticed your personal time with God is slipping, and instead of serving with joy, you're starting to feel resentment in serving. Especially when you see others not stepping up, you're having to step in for everything, things of that nature. One Sunday, somebody comes up to you and asks if you can take on another responsibility because you're, quote, so reliable for the church. You know if you say yes, it's gonna stretch you even thinner, but if you say no, you feel guilty, like you're letting God down and not being a good Christian. How do you respond to this scenario? Do you keep saying yes and push through? Do you step back and risk disappointing people? How do you set the boundaries in your life with God in that moment? And the reason I want to do that scenario is because it truly happens in churches everywhere. You know, you see people that get, I like to call it spiritually burnout. Yeah. You know, they're it almost like going to church is more of a job than receiving or uh, you know, even the danger is even if you're in a leadership position and like ministry or maybe on the worship team, whatever, the real danger becomes when you are ministering and you're letting the Holy Ghost flow through you, yet you're not receiving through that very dangerous because then you're not really serving from the heart, you're serving from routine or you know, things of that nature.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I I I think I can speak from personal experience on that one. Um I think one, um you know it's coming. You you know there are signs. Yeah. As with uh as with any kind of like malnu nourishment or something that may be going on in a physical sense, there are signs. And uh at church I do the you know the sound, the the sound stuff. Uh but there had been some time period where I felt like, man, I'm I am getting a little bitter. Sure. And I'm like, man, I'm doing I I show up, I do all this stuff, and it's just like I'm not really coming to have church. Other people get to come and walk in, sit on a pew, and and then I'm not seeing, you know, them within that that kind of like I would say freedom-ish, you know, of their time. But me, I'm I'm doing all this early. I was like, hold up, you're you're getting bitter right now. So one of the steps I took was I started going to the front for worship service and figure I figured out a way to be able to remotely handle the slides. And that was so much more beneficial for me was not only am I able to help others with the lyrics on the board or on the screens, but I'm also able to participate and receive exactly what you were talking about. But I think it's uh it happens in the scripture uh where Mary and Martha. Yes, absolutely. Um Mary was sitting at the feet of Jesus, you know, learning, and Martha was doing something I think is important, you know, get it cooking, getting the meal ready, setting the table, getting stuff together. Um, but I think it was a good I don't think God ever, if I remember correctly, he didn't say, Martha, you shouldn't be cooking. You know, what are you doing? Don't go make food. Right. I don't think that was the intention. It was the intention of okay, don't forget the reason for the service, but also don't lose, don't become bitter and lose what is or get your mind off what's the most important thing, and that's being in his presence receiving from him. Absolutely. Um and so yeah, absolutely. It's it's dangerous if we if we let a little bit of that bitterness and kind of that frustration like Martha did see seep in without at first acknowledging and saying, okay, oops, I need I need to check myself something's going on here.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Um and try to take steps to not allow it to fester.

SPEAKER_03

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_04

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_03

It definitely can affect you spiritually. And I've been in, you know, in the same boat, you know, um, where you constantly do, you constantly lose, and I'm the type of person, somebody asked me, you know, I'm very seldom say no. I'm gonna do it. You know, as bad as I feel inside, I'm like, do I really want to do it? No, but I'm not gonna tell them no, so I'm just gonna, you know, go ahead and do it. But you know, um what I found myself when I get to those places is is that, you know, in in in a church atmosphere or at church is is that I'm not there for them.

SPEAKER_01

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I'm not there for man.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

For them. I'm there for to receive from him. Yeah, absolutely. You know, even though they want to ask me to do things, the peop that do the works and this, that, and the other, that's fine.

SPEAKER_01

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_03

You know, I'm not there for them. I'm I'm there for to get what I need. Yeah. You know, and and it's tough sometimes. It is a hundred percent is tough. You know, it it it it affects all of us. Uh it drains you. Um it does make you sometimes get you to the point where you're bitter. Um, and just like the you know, the prodigal son, the the not you know, the one that done everything for the father, right, right. Never left, done everything he told him to do, and then here comes the son, you know, and it's like, okay, well, here you are, and I've been here. What now what about me? Yeah. Right. You know. So, you know, you just there are those bitter moments in those times where you just got to step back and say, okay, I'm not for you, I'm not here for them. Right.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And I think when you really, you just really have to grasp the idea that um through servanthood you can still receive. Um and it's not a job, you're not doing it for people, but you're doing it to glorify the kingdom. Yes, that's right. And and he'll feed you through that. And, you know, if that situation was to ever occur in, you know, your church or anything like that, uh, the first thing you need to do is pray through it.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_02

You know, pray through that. And, you know, Lord, I'm I'm feeling this bitterness, but I know I'm glorifying you through this work, so I, you know, can I lay this bitterness down at your feet and you take it from me? And what you said about taking the step to get out of that bitterness and realize that what you're doing through serving is still glorifying the kingdom. God will always provide the way of escape in every situation. Not just a you know, horrific trial or tribulation at your home or in your marriage, you know, whatever it is, but if you have that small seed of bitterness in a church service, he'll provide a way of escape through that as well. You know, just as he did in you moving to the front, being able to control remotely. Yeah. You know, and I think what really happens with leaders in the church and ministry, worship, you know, whatever it is, is they truly, when you're in that position and you're really serving in the church, God will allow you to feel the burden of others so that they can release what they need to release in a church service. And that burden is heavy. But, you know, you said it earlier. He said, Come to me, all who are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. When that burden comes upon you, you just need to know where to go with it. Right. Yeah. The foot of the cross. Leave it there and don't let that bitterness or anything seep. Don't let that weight fester on you. Yeah. Don't let it hold its own weight on your back or, you know, whatever. Give it to the Father because He already took the weight of it. Yes, he did. Yes, he did. Continue to serve. That's right. You'll receive through it. Um, and pray before every time you're serving, pray before. Pray for the strength to get through that. Pray for his guidance, his wisdom, and everything that you're doing. It's so important your prayer life in that. Absolutely, absolutely. You know, it says receive not because you ask not. That's right. You're not receiving strength because you're not asking for it. Right. You know, that's right. You know, he loves to give it out as a gift. But you know, you the thing is about gifts, you have to ask for them. How are people going to know what you want, what you want for Christmas, what you want for your birthday if uh you don't ask for it.

SPEAKER_04

So vocalize it, yep. Get it out there. Speak it. Speak for your birthday. Oh, I don't know. Million dollars?

SPEAKER_03

Don't we all? Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Podcast studio?

SPEAKER_03

Hey, yeah. Hey, if you get a million dollars, what do you think?

SPEAKER_04

That's 100%.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, okay.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, that's it. There you go. The easiest check I write. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And then you get all the other people wanting checks on.

SPEAKER_04

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Like I said, that'd be the easiest of us.

SPEAKER_02

Other ones we gotta you know, digress on these. Like we gotta chill. Man, oh man. What a fun episode this is. Oh, it's been so enjoyable. I love doing these, and you know, we're gonna continue to do them as long as the Lord will call us to do it. You know, 13 episodes in already. Yeah, 13 weeks of of episodes, you know. We'll be, I mean, we'll be at a year just before we know it.

SPEAKER_04

Before you know it, you're gonna be looking at, hey, this is the 100 episode anniversary or last year, and you're gonna be like, wow, we bake.

SPEAKER_02

We'll have to do something special for that. Yes, for sure. We'll have to do something big. Well, let's pray over these viewers and these listeners so that they hopefully they receive this episode and that the Lord will bless their life. Lord Jesus, God, we thank you for another opportunity to gather in your presence, Lord, and have another conversation that was filled with your spirit. God, I pray that whoever is listening, viewing this podcast episode right now, that the words we've spoken, the conversations we've had about obedience, praise and worship, giving you the glory for the kingdom, I pray that it has marinated in the spirit and hearts of these viewers tonight. God, I pray for the one that is struggling hearing your voice, that is struggling to fall under your obedience, under your authority. And I pray that you bring revelation into their spirit right now in the name of Jesus. Revelation of what you have called them to do, revelation of what you can truly bless them with through that obedience. Whether it be through the scripture, through another believer, God, I pray that that confirmation and revelation be abundant in their life right now in the name of Jesus. God, I pray for these three vessels that sit before you, God. I pray that you cleanse us each and every day. I pray that you continue to use us for your kingdom because truly we want nothing but to glorify and lift up your holy name, Lord Jesus. That is truly what our lives are for. That is the sole purpose of our being is to bring glory and edify your holy name, Lord Jesus. God, the word, I believe it has gone out, and according to your word, it says it shall accomplish its purpose. I pray that it does not return void. The promise shall not return void. I thank you, God, lastly, for your mercy and grace. How it's so abundant in our lives and how it's abound in every life, how it's abound in the lives of these viewers and listeners today. And I pray that you flood that mercy and grace upon them. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Wow, what a wonderful conversation in the spirit. You know, when you let the spirit flow, guys, I'm telling you. So easy. Start to have some beautiful conversations. You know, we're in my office right now. I've had Holy Ghost conversations on that gaming setup right now. You never know when God's going to use you to see.
