Bless you with the word, whatever you need. You can find it here on the Spirit Unleashed YouTube channel. Not because we're leading it, nope, but because God is leading it. Yes, God's ahead. You know, because what we stay founded in is the truth. The word. The truth of this word, and it's so important. And you know, we were talking about it briefly uh before we got the episode started about how important the truth is in today's time.
SPEAKER_00Yes, it is a hundred percent truth. I think um it's it's very timely that in in a in a world that's so closely knit by by the internet, by social media, yeah. Um, I think there's a lot of people that are looking to elevate self. Yes, looking to elevate their platform. And they're using the word as simply a a piece of that equation to be successful, to um become wealthy or whatever it is they're pursuing.
SPEAKER_02Sure.
SPEAKER_00Um, and that's not the case here. We are founded upon the word. It isn't for me or you to become rich and famous or anything like that. It's to spread his gospel, and that's why I think it's blessed and it it it has grown, you know, exponentially compared to where we where you you know this kind of started at.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, absolutely. You know, I think um everything that what what amazes me about our our group that we have here, our group that we're a part of outside of the podcast, everything like that, is you know, there's so much prayer, fasting, you know, there's so much support that we have, but it's because we started this thing because of a word from God. Yes. And because of a confirmation that was received. And when, you know, God decides he wants to do something, yeah, no one can stand against that. You know, it doesn't matter if this word is going out and blessing one person or if it blesses ten thousand people. Absolutely. If God wants to use this podcast just to save one soul, that's more than enough.
SPEAKER_00That is more yeah, that'd be more than enough reason to have done all that we've already done, is if it reaches one soul. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_04That that's what that's what we're called to do is be truthful, be obedient, and are we going to get it right every time? Absolutely not.
SPEAKER_00We do our best, but yes, sometimes we get a little bit wrong, and we we learn from it, we grow from it, and we continue to keep pressing, keep moving forward.
SPEAKER_04But the important thing is is to stay founded in the truth. Yes, yes. And and I believe that a lot of people, um, like you said before we got the episode started, people are seeking after the truth.
SPEAKER_00I yeah. I think there's a real deep uh hunger for the truth.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And there's a lot of voices out there that are talking, and some of them are are are are spreading some maybe not intentionally, but uh some stuff that's not rooted and grounded. It's a little bit of opinion, a little bit of just feeling, and a little bit of, you know, whatever dogma that that they may have, you know, come out of. Um but yeah, I think there is such a desire, such a hunger for more than just the materialism, more than just like, hey, what feels good, what seems good. Uh but they want to know, hey, what's going to feed me spiritually? What's going to satiate this deep hunger that's just being unfulfilled by whatever the world is trying to offer us?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah. I think people um in society nowadays, there are people out there that are, like you said, they're getting tired of what the world is offering. And they're starting to seek the creator of the world. Yes. And seeing what he can offer them. And it's a beautiful thing, but you know, I I uh implore with everybody listening or watching the episode right now, if you're seeking that truth, if you are seeking after a new life with Christ, anything like that, look, don't take it from us. Get in here first. Absolutely. Get in the word first. Tell because this right here, this is directly from God's heart, is what this word is. The Bible tells us in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. This is directly from the Father right here. So if you need a word from him, get in this Bible, man. I'm telling you, it can change your life because there's nothing but truth in this thing, man. Nothing but truth. It really is the blueprint for our life.
SPEAKER_00You know, I can't remember if it was pastors who said it, maybe your dad said it, or I heard it from somebody else, but they're taught uh there was an individual speaking to another, you know, uh saint, and they're like, man, I just want to get a word from God. I just wish I could hear a word from God. I'm I'm really looking for a word, you know, just to get me through my day, to get me through my problem. And the individual talking to looks back at him and said, Well, he wrote you an entire book. There's an entire book from God who he wrote to you. And so just just get in, get rooted and grounded, open the word, and and if you're hungry, sincerely hungry, God is going to feed you. There are things, there are times when I have just opened the, you know, I I've done the you read the read the Bible in a year, you know, uh program and and you know, been around this for a long time, and there are still several, several, many times, I'd say more often than not when I open up the Bible and just go to read a scripture that I've probably heard several times, and then something new pops up out of me, up out of me, you know, and it's it's just phenomenal because I believe this word's alive. And it and how can it help but be alive because it's from God and is God?
SPEAKER_04Absolutely, yeah. And I I think what's beautiful about the word is that, you know, like you said, whether you've read it cover to cover or you've read a few books, whatever it is, there have been instances in my life where I will go back and read a scripture, and not only do I get a different message from it, but it's like my mind read the words differently the first time. Yeah. As in, wait, I don't remember that word being there last time. Or, you know, I think God is God is He's funny like that, you know. I believe sometimes maybe he'll block your vision from certain words in the scripture so that a revelation can be given to you at a perfect time. And it's certainly happened in my life. I've heard so many testimonies of it happening, but it's because you're reading the truth and you're getting founded in it, you're getting rooted in it. This is where you start your relationship, in my opinion, you know, other than coming to an altar and repenting, going through a repentance experience. But if you want to know where to begin, just start reading and he'll he'll show you. Absolutely, he'll reveal it to you. And the truth is so important nowadays, and you know, another thing that I push people when I'm speaking to people about the Word, about God, you know, another thing I implore people when you're seeking that new life with Christ is even if you don't know how, get a prayer life started. Get into prayer, start having conversations with God. And, you know, what I tell people all the time, there's so many people that are like, well, I don't know how to pray. I I don't know how to speak to him, I don't know how to go to him in prayer. God's not looking for some, you know, put together grammatically correct prayer. Right. And the reason is, and what I tell people all the time is because he knows everything that you're going through already. He just wants you to make the choice to bring it to him. It doesn't matter how it comes out or how you pray it, he knows what you need. But as long as you're making that choice to give it to him and let him take care of it, you don't got to be like, oh, you know, Father in heaven and all put together and all this. Yeah. Just start having a conversation with him. And it truly can change your prayer life.
SPEAKER_00I 100% believe that. I I think, you know, there's so many uh examples in the Bible, but one of the things that Christ talks about is, you know, God is our heavenly father.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And as with any earthly father, you know, you're not looking to your children to come to you and okay, you follow a specific structure. Right. You know, if you didn't follow that, then you start over, you know, go back and we'll try this again. Yeah. He is just looking for you to start talking to him, to start communicating, and he'll start communicating back. Absolutely. Because it's it's it's how much he loves us. That he doesn't need some kind of formality, you don't need, say, 30 Hail Marys, and then then you can begin, you know, asking for what it was you came to him for. It's it's just so it's so much simpler than that. It's a like you said, a conversation. And and and he so much desires it from us. Um and and when we start, then he's I I feel like he gets excited, like, all right, yes, you know, here comes a conversation, let's do this.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah. Because as you deepen your prayer life and as you commit yourself to God each and every day, you know, he's going to build your life through that. And what I mean by that is as you pray and as you are staying disciplined in your prayer life, his voice is going to become clearer and clearer to you. And he's going to show you what you're doing right, he's going to show you what you're doing wrong. And when he shows you those things that you're doing wrong, it's not because he's punishing you, it's because he's nudging you back in the right direction. It's that conviction of the Holy Spirit that we have. Him living on the inside of us gives us a compass, if you will, and a discernment of, oh, maybe I shouldn't be doing that, Lord. And then he's like, You're right. No, let me nudge you back this way. And then you get rewarded for that and you get blessed for following him and being disciplined in your prayer life, and through that he will reveal to you the truth of his word. Yes.
SPEAKER_00And some people, you know, talk about, you know, along those those lines, I think they look at it, they use a barometer of the physical to judge whether they're close with God or not. Yes, yeah. It's like, hey, if it everything's going well, then obviously I must be, you know, well, it must be well with God, and I'm on the right direction. Yes. And then everything's going wrong, then I must have done something horribly wrong or anything like that. But that's that's not the case. I think Job is one of the best examples that I think he had a very devout relationship with God, and you know, things came upon him, trials and tribulations and tests. Um, but through it all, God never left him. Right. He and he never forsook God either. And so even if you're facing, you know, some kind of trial, some kind of test, and you feel like so far away from God, it's it's that's not the case. Yeah. He's there, and though you may not be able to see him in the moment, or maybe you won't can't even feel him in the moment. Yeah, take faith, you know, be encouraged. He is there. And when the when the time's right, he's gonna show himself, and there's gonna be a testimony uh born out of that. There's gonna be, you know, you're gonna be stronger once you've come out of it. Yeah. Um yeah.
SPEAKER_04You know, we talked about it a few Wednesday nights ago. Um, I believe Pastor spoke on this subject, how, you know, if we can just, when we finally start believing that he really is as close as the mention of his name, and he's not afar off, and he's truly living within us, when we finally start believing that, the transformation that occurs in your prayer life and your worship and your praise, when you finally realize, okay, Lord, you have been with me this entire time. Because, you know, a lot of us come from, you know, maybe we come from a dirty past, maybe, you know, we've had troubled things behind us, but when we get delivered and we turn our life to Christ and He lets us glance in that rearview mirror every now and then and see, hey, you remember this moment? I was there. And Dad's got a powerful testimony on that with uh with the explosion accident he was in, not necessarily living for the Lord at the time. And, you know, all the things that occurred, he thought it was just, man, you know, uh, this is dumb luck that I'm still standing here, you know, alive physically. But God was there with his protecting hand. And there was people in his life at the time that God put that accident there for so that he could meet these people and he could learn more about him. And it you know, it was it's a whole thing, you know. You just have to be willing to get dedicated and get disciplined in your prayer life. You gotta be willing to do it, and that's that's the hardest thing for people nowadays when people are seeking after the truth. It oftentimes it hurts when you realize what you really have to sacrifice to to get that blessed life. And, you know, a lot of things you gotta put lay down.
SPEAKER_00Uh the the we we're called to be a living sacrifice. Yes. There's there's desires of the flesh, and there's things that that doesn't mean they're bad.
SPEAKER_04Right.
SPEAKER_00Uh, but that there are things that we probably have to, we we do have to kind of set aside. Absolutely. So whatever planet is, there's several times that I've thought how perfectly things should be, and if it just followed these specific path of these walks, these these uh notes, you know, and this lyrical, you know, song that I put together, then it would be perfect. Everything would be fine. Yeah. And it's just not the case. Yeah. And God's saying, Yeah, that's that's what you imagine, which maybe you've lusted, or maybe you've just wanted, and I got other plans for you. And at the end of the day, what I had to do was say, okay, Lord, I'd rather have your plans, whatever they look like, absolutely, versus my plans, which just always seemed to fall apart and crumble after or or or I thought I I got what I thought I wanted, and then when you have it, you're like, I actually did not want this. This is really bad for me. You know, it's got me in terrible place, it's led me in the wrong direction, I don't want this anymore, Lord. And it's like I tried to tell you.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Every time, and and now that you're saying that, every time I I think back to something that I tried to take care of by myself, maybe it was taken care of and that situation was remedied, but it came back to bite me in the butt later on because God wasn't in it. And, you know, I put my flesh first and tried to take care of it on my own and followed the leading and guiding of my life, my mind and my spirit. But when you truly realize that the Lord wants nothing but to guide you through this life. He wants nothing. You know, the Bible compares this life to a race, and you know, um, we shall run this race, and you know, if we let God be the the pace car, if you will, that we're following, then you know, we'll reach the finish.
SPEAKER_00Yes, it's not to the swift, it's to the one who endures until the end.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah. And that's funny that you're talking about the one that endures because um I saw something recently, um, I can't remember who was who I was listening to speaking on this, but um, he was talking about Job and the things that he endured and everything, and you know, how the Lord told the enemy, you know, you can have Job because I know he's going to stay loyal to me. Right. And Job, I mean, the the stuff that he lost and his family and uh his whole life was torn apart, yet he endured. Yes. And he stayed faithful because he'd seen what God had done for him before, and he knew that he could do it again. And in the end, he received the blessing. And he endures and received everything back that was taken from him.
SPEAKER_00You know, the thing I think uh think the story about Job really shows is that other men, perhaps in his place, would have would have shown the colors that they love the stuff.
SPEAKER_04Right.
SPEAKER_00They love the wealth, the attention. You know, he was talked about in the in the in the uh in the town in town. Yeah. Oh, look, look how repetitive Job is. He's such a good guy. You know, he's got so much, he's such an awesome person. He gives to the poor and the needy. Yeah, yeah. Good guy, great guy, I love him. Yeah, and there are people that, I mean, many people that that's what they're that's what they actually like. Absolutely. It's like as long as I'm being I got the favor, as long as I have the stuff around me and everything like that, of course I'm gonna serve God. You know, it's just I got all the perks. And but it's you know, Job's relationship went so much deeper than that. Yeah, those things came along with his relationship with God, yes, but it wasn't why he was in it. Absolutely. It was because he loved the Lord. He had a relationship with God, he wanted to be near him, and God believed that, believed that of him. So when he told Satan, okay, you can you can touch him, you can take all those things away, because that's not what he's in love with. He's in love with me, he wants to be with me. Yeah, and it it was God was proven right by the actions that Job took.
SPEAKER_04He Job knew what it was to have a truthful relationship with God, a true relationship with God. And when I think about Job, he knew what it was to worship God and God alone, and not, I believe, something that a lot of people can, you know, get stuck on and everything when they're seeking after the Lord, they're seeking the truth, they're seeking this. They think that they can worship God through their works or their items or their material things, if you will. An example that comes to mind is King Nebuchadnezzar. You know, King Nebuchadnezzar, before um Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and Daniel came along, he only knew how to worship God through a medium or through an intermediary, if you will. Daniel came and interpreted his dreams, so the Bible says he worshiped at Daniel's feet. Yeah. He only knew how to worship because of, he saw the work of that, he saw the work of God that he was working through Daniel, but he only knew how to worship Daniel, and he built this big statue because of it, and he commanded everybody to worship that statue. But after he saw the miracle that occurred in the furnace, he knew what it was. He saw the true God that these three men that went into this furnace had a relationship with. You know, the Bible says, and a beautiful thing about that story is he says there's a fourth man in the fire, and he is in the form of the Son of Man. And, you know, this is just a beautiful story because he saw Jesus in there with Chadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, or at least the form of him.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04So he understood, okay, these three have that truthful relationship with God. They know what it is to worship God straight up. Yes. No intermediary, no idols, no worldly things, nothing but just being in love with Christ.
SPEAKER_00Right. And that's the relationship God wants.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Uh He wants, He doesn't want to have to go through, you know, other men to have the relationship with the flock.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um He wants that as as was in the garden with Adam and Eve.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00He wants that immediate relationship with you, with no kind of with no separation between us. And that's why the veil was torn. There is no, you know, no more need for um an earthly high priest. Now Christ is our you know high our high priest and who we went through for salvation, but it it's a direct relationship with Christ, who is God. Um but yeah, that's that it's again so simple that it's all done because God loves us and he wants a relationship with us.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um and to me, that's just so phenomenal.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. It's all about love, you know. And I I think that the main reason people are we're seeing so many people come to the faith, and you're seeing Christianity surge right now in society is because people are tired of this fake love. Yes. People are tired of, you know, just receiving a love that's not filling a hole in their heart. Because all of us have that void in our heart. When we empty out that sin, when we empty out that dirtiness, there is a void there. And oftentimes we try to fill it with this love that we receive from the world, but that love is only a temporary love. It'll only satisfy you for a certain amount of time, but when you finally get that true, that agape love from God and it fills your heart, there's nothing like it. It's just a true, honest love, and that's that's all he wants. Absolutely. A loving relationship. Yes. And it's a beautiful thing. And, you know, I think that we've seen it in our church recently. There's a reason why I believe our worship services are there's just a powerful move of God in our worship services recently, because people have realized that that love is truly all you need. It's all you need, and he'll provide everything else that you need if you seek that love.
SPEAKER_00There's there's a lot of counterfeits in this world, uh, whether it's whether it's through a person, whether it's through an i idea or you know, a substance. There are imitations of love. There are you know drugs that stimulate our pleasure centers of our mind. Yes. Which is, in in my opinion, it's it's it's again a substitution for love. Right. And people use these, you know, handicaps to try to figure. That void that resides there. I I think your your dad's testimony as far as you know what he was delivering from alcoholism and stuff like that, he's trying to fill an emptiness that was within him. Absolutely. And you you you might be able to mask or or or I would say falsely fill it for a season for a moment, but it still comes back. It's never main it's never actually, you know, it it that that emptiness doesn't go away. Yeah. It isn't until it's filled with the right thing that can main can persistently be there, which is Christ, God, His Holy Spirit dwelling within us. Um but yeah, I uh it's just so apparent when you look around the world, uh, especially amongst our young, young younger generation or you know, your generation, um, that people are looking for that they aren't satisfied with what their parents have done. Right. You know, they've they've chased after wealth, materialism, they've they're you know using substances, abusing substances, and they're like, I don't want to be like that. I don't I don't want to I don't want to become that adult. I don't want to you know have that kind of addiction. Yeah, I want something that's real. Uh and I can tell by the way my parents are acting that it's not real. They're not really happy, they're acting that way on social media media, you know, snapping photos. Oh my god, at the Bahamas, so blessed and awesome. Absolutely. And it's like, yeah, when the camera comes down, they're yelling or they're complaining and everything like that. And it's like, well, obviously this isn't making them happy, and I want to be happy. I don't want to be like that.
SPEAKER_04Absolutely, yeah. I mean, it's just you can only keep the mask or the facade up for so long because it's manufactured by your flesh. Yeah. And your flesh is only so strong, and eventually it's going to break. And you'll understand what it is to be broken. And when the important thing is, is when you hit that brokenness and the mask finally comes off, the important thing is not to just manufacture another one and put another one on, but seek after that love. Because, you know, God will restore you from that. And he'll bring you into a life of prayer, love, worship, praise. You know, he'll bring you all those blessings. And, you know, I truly believe we're seeing a resurgence of that in today's society. And I we've seen it in just our church alone. I can't even imagine. Um, you know, for our viewers and listeners, I'm sure you guys are experiencing powerful moves of God in the church services that you're a part of. Because if you're going into it with the right mindset and it's God ordained, nobody can stand in the way of that. And and I think truly that God is ready to pour out his revival spirit on us. And I think it's it's closely coming. I believe it'll be very soon that we will see an incredible. I believe it's already starting in this nation, in this world. Yes, there is a revival spreading, a resurgence of people seeking after the truth and his love. And I think when this fire finally comes to a full blaze, we are going to see things that we have never seen before.
SPEAKER_00I I I I believe that. I believe that there are gifts and callings that that perhaps have been left on the back burner for a little bit. Yeah. Um and it's only because God has always been willing and desired to pour out those gifts and those do those wonders, but it's it's us that require is it required of us to one one Christ said this comes not but by prayer and existing. And I don't think we we've kind of set that to the side. And we, you know, in a materialistic world, we're like, hey, you know, I want to have go to church no more than twice a week. And then but for the rest of the time, it's that's my time, beach time, whatever it is. Right. Not calling out anybody. Yeah. Because please, if you enjoy the beach, go to the beach, enjoy yourself in the sun, because I know a couple of people like that. Oh, yeah. And I like that. We just live so close. We live so close, you know. But to achieve to get to that level, it requires sacrifice. Absolutely. And a true desire where you're saying, I'm gonna set everything else aside. It's it's second priority. It's no longer as important. I'm gonna put God first. And then God's like, okay, finally you've got my attention, you've shown me that you really, really desire this more than anything else. Yeah. Now I'm gonna start pouring it out. Yes. And I think we're beginning to see, like you said, the beginnings of the windows of heaven opening, and we're seeing that stuff start to rain down. Yeah. And I think there's, you know, what we've seen in our past couple of services is just the tip of the iceberg to what you know, what we can and will be see, we'll be seeing in the future.
SPEAKER_04We're seeing people truly sacrifice, I believe. And it's funny that we're we're talking about this. I think it's a perfect segue. Um, we'll talk about our worship song of the week, but the song that I'm gonna bring up, it's called uh For Christ Alone by 2819 Worship Group. Okay. They're a church out of Atlanta. Um, this is their first record that they have like produced and put out on streaming platforms. And man, it's a powerful record. It's one of those, you know, 11, 12 minute, so you gotta be ready to listen to it. You gotta be ready to listen to it. But the main lyric in the title, it says, for Christ alone, we lay down our lives.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04We sacrifice because we want that relationship with you. And I think it's just so powerful, and it speaks on laying down your life, and you know, how every knee will bow and every um, you know, I will see when he comes back, and as long as you're sacrificing, laying down your life, it it's just I mean, that's all it takes. It's all for Christ alone. It truly is.
SPEAKER_00It it it's so much is uh I think it's you know, it's all it's talked about in the word that we look through a glass darkly. Um and there's some things that we won't we won't understand, we won't, we won't know until we get to the other side, we've reached heaven, you know, we've we've gone and entered those pearly gates. But I think those things come a little clearer when we set God in the in the the forefront. Absolutely. And everything else will kind of fall into its place. Yeah. And you begin to realize, oh, that's that's why this had to happen, because you know, you know, that's that's what God's plan was.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And so when I put God first, it's kind of weird how I'm I'm trying to think of like a kaleidoscope or something like that, where you get the right mindset, things just pop, and also the image becomes clear, and you're like, oh wow, that's what it took for me to just kind of like center my focus a little bit, get my vision right, and then I I see the image perfectly. And there's like I said, there's several things in this life that we've gone through that we may never truly understand until we reach the other side, but there are some things that we do get good perspective on and realize when we put God at the at the center and get our eyes on him. And it's just it's phenomenal the way that that that can fall out and and kind of work. Um but yeah.
SPEAKER_04It's powerful, man. Yes. It's powerful. And and I love I love that song so much it's it's quickly rose to to the top of my uh my playlist right now. Yeah. Um so I'm I'm like starting every morning with you know this 12 minutes of worship on this song. I'm starting every car ride home. Yes. Um it's so funny. I love those long songs because there are some worship songs that I love. I love those long songs because it almost gets me all the way to work.
SPEAKER_00Like if I leave after the traffic or before the traffic, what traffic are you going through there?
SPEAKER_04But it almost gets me all the way there, and then I get to work, I'm like, oh my gosh, the song hasn't changed, and I've just felt this wonderful atmosphere on the way to work, and then I'm ready to go in and start the day.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I know you're looking to me for my song now, and honestly, I I I was sitting there struggling, but the song that I've been playing a lot, and I can't remember if someone else has brought it up, but I think I have clicked on it so many times, but I got originally introduced to this song probably about two years ago. Okay, and it was kind of a different version. And then you and your dad played the version of this, uh the same, you know, lyrics and everything like that, but a different version for worship service. Yeah. And I was like, I it's funny how you can change a little bit of a tune, a little bit of a rhythm, and a song just have so much, you know, uh uh a wildly different impact. Oh yes, yeah. Uh but it's uh uh this one, the version that you guys introduced me to is What a God. I knew by Love Church. Yes. And it is such a phenomenal song. Now, the version I listened to, I can't remember who did that version. SEU, maybe? It may have been. SEU. It's in my it's in my list. Uh yes, it is SEU worship, yes. And theirs is more what which I can feel like I can I I pray to. Yes. It's just a melodic softer version, everything like that. But this one, the version that you play, it's just so much uh I feel like has a different impact. It becomes less of a prayer and more of a worship song. Yes. And the lyrics that go on in there are just, you know, uh, I think one of the lines which I love the most is um uh if the what was the highest I reach is that yeah.
SPEAKER_04Then I've done it all.
SPEAKER_00Then I've done it all. Yes. And if the uh if the only word, oh God, I'm I can't even remember. But it's yes, it just explains basically my point is if I just get near to him, oh yeah, if I can just touch the hem of his garments, then this world doesn't compare.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Because there's nothing else that matters. That's all I want. And there's almost like a childish uh from a childish perspective to their parent. I just want to spend time with them. Yeah. I just want to be near them. And whatever that looks like, that's enough for me. That's I've I've I I forget I I don't care if I, you know, if you gain the whole world but lose your soul, you know, it's of no profit. But if I could just have a little bit of him, yeah, that's more than anything this world can offer. And I I I love that song.
SPEAKER_04We're supposed to have that childlike faith. Yeah, you know, just utter faith in him, and that's that's a beautiful song, man. I knew you were gonna say that as soon as you talked about versions. I was like, I know what he's talking about. But um that bridge is so powerful, I think. And I love the chorus too, talking about, you know, what a God, what a God. But that bridge where they just go into, you know, um, if the best thing that I've seen is your glory. Yeah, then I've seen it all. I've seen it all. I don't care if I'm just you know bowing at your feet for the rest of my life. That's everything to me. And um even at the end of that bridge, it says, um, I think it's uh, oh Lord, I think it's no one can satisfy, and they say, God, you are my everything. You are my everything. Yes.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, I think you're right.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, no love, or maybe it's no love can satisfy other than God's love, something like that.
SPEAKER_00But you know, I get put on the spot and then that's it leaves my mind completely.
SPEAKER_04The point is, you know, nothing of this world can satisfy. Yes. But if I can just get to your feet, Lord, if I can just hear a word, if I've heard, I think it's if I've uh if one word is the only thing you speak, then I've heard it all. Then I've heard it all. You know, that's all you need. And you just need God, and you just need to just get to his feet, seek his face. And if all you ever get is bowed on your knees in an altar every Sunday, every Wednesday, every day at your house, if you're just bowed in prayer, if that's as far as you ever get, just at his feet, yeah, you've done it all.
SPEAKER_00I I think so often we let pride get in our way of doing it. How many of us, if Jesus had been in the middle of the crowd and we were in the situation of the woman with issue of blood, we'd have been like, yeah, maybe if he gets out of the crowd and I can walk up to him, you know, I don't need to, I don't want to bow down, I don't want to be crawling around in the grass or the the along the stones getting scrubbed, scrapped up, and people stepping on me, like, what is this person doing? Get out of the way, you know, kind of moment. But I'll I'll just wait, I'll be dignified, I'll approach Jesus like that. Yeah, and I think if if we had that attitude, then we never would have gotten anything. We were left with our need unsupplied. Yeah. But because of that persistence and because of that desire to say, I don't care what I look like, yeah, I'm going to touch the hem of his garments. Absolutely. And when we bring that kind of attitude and we're willing to cast whatever, you know, pride or or self-consciousness that we have about our way we will look about doing this, then we will achieve so much because we're getting near to God. And he he acknowledges that because he's going to say, Who touched me? Yeah. Who's touched me? Because I felt virtue flow. Yeah. And that's how we get access to that virtue. We'd be in persistent setting pride aside and just pursuing after God with everything that's within us. And that's why coming to the altar can be so important here in the church. Absolutely. Is he at 100%? You can be blessed out there in the pew as much as you can be blessed out here on the altar. God is not limited by space or time, but it's the condition of which our heart's in and our minds in that we're able to we're we're saying, okay, Lord, not my will, but your will. Not myself, not my pride, not you know what I have going on. But I want you to do what you desire to do in me.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And so there's a submission to that will going on with a physical response of, hey, I'm leaving the pew, I'm coming down to the altar.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's a step out in faith. Yes. Because for most people, going to an altar or going to a place of worship is uncomfortable. It is. Because they don't either they feel judged, maybe they're shy, maybe they don't want to, you know, get on their knees in front of everybody. But when you take that step out in faith, just as the women of the issue of with blood did, she knew that this sickness, this illness had haunted her for twelve years, and it was a true hindrance on her life. But she knew if she could just get rid of this one thing, she could have it all with her life. And she heard testimonies, she'd seen witnesses, she'd seen, you know, things that Jesus had done for people, and she knew that if she could just get to him, if you could just get up to that altar and lay your life down on it and receive what he has for you, you've done it all. You've received all you need. When you empty that heart out, leave it at the altar, because that's where it belongs. Don't turn around and pick it back up. But when you if you can just make it there, take the step out of faith, as uncomfortable as it is, as much strength as it's gonna take, if you can just get to his feet. What a God, man. Yes, what a God. Wow. That is awesome. Well, I have a surprise segment for you, Jesse. Looking forward to it. You know, I it I figure, you know, sometimes I'll watch some of these episodes back, and I see we get so deep in conversation.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04And, you know, a lot of times I'll be watching them, I'm like, man, this is really hitting heavy on my spirit. So I figure we'd have a little fun. Okay. I think this segment's gonna be fun in the future, um, especially when we get dad back and we can do it with the three of us, because it's gonna last a little longer. But um I've seen it done on a couple different podcasts. Not necessarily, I don't know if I've seen it done on a Christian podcast per se. Maybe it's out there, but I just haven't seen it. Um but credit to you know a couple of other podcasts that I listen to, and I've seen this segment done. Um, a lot of sports podcasts do it and everything like that. But the segment is called Top Five. Top five. What we're going to do is we're going to take uh each week it'll be different. We're going to take some Christian topics, and we're almost going to do like a draft or like a rank of our top five favorite of this topic. Okay. The topic I have prepared for this week is just top five Bible characters. Okay. Not necessarily, you know, ranking or anything, but just your top five favorite. The catch is, though, we'll go back and forth, like draft style. Once one of us takes a character, the other person can't take it. Okay. So we'll have different lists and we'll put the lists in the description. This is that moment I said, you got to get engaged with this episode. Leave a comment on which list is your favorite. Okay. There you go. Which one, either mine or Jesse's list, which one's your favorite? They'll both be great lists. I'm sure.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely.
SPEAKER_04There's so many different Bible characters. The only caveat I'm going to put in, whoever has the first pick, we just can't pick Jesus. Because then that's going to be my number one. That just makes the list.
SPEAKER_03That just makes the list. Everybody's going to vote for that list. So we're going to leave the Lord out of this one.
SPEAKER_04We're going to go every character other than Jesus. Um that way. Hopefully it's fair. Yeah. Um, but we'll leave him out and just kind of draft our other characters. Um, do you want to go first? No, you gotta go first. Okay, I'll get the first pick. Okay. My first pick, I've been thinking about it um a little bit, but there's so many, I mean, there's so many great men and women of God in the Word. Um, but I think with my first pick, I'm gonna go New Testament, and I'm going to go John the Baptist. There is so much you can glean from his story, and there's so much you can glean from his writing. I just think John the Baptist at the first pick, I think he's a very anointed character in the Bible, and uh definitely in my top five favorites for sure. So I'm gonna take John the Baptist.
SPEAKER_00Man, that was my quarterback pick, and uh there goes my entire draft and uh my season.
SPEAKER_04I I gotta build around it. I'm gonna write these down so I don't forget them.
SPEAKER_00But yeah, um you can write mine down too for me. Yeah, yeah. Uh that's that's a really good one. I love John the Baptist um because Jesus says he's the the uh uh the greatest prophet, basically. Yes, he's the greatest prophet. And so it's coming out of God's mouth. So of all the Old Testament prophets, if you if Jesus said I I took them all, took the whole entire lineup in the best, John the Baptist, and you're just like, well, that's settled.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's kind of why I I took my boy John there at one.
SPEAKER_00That is a good one. You know, I I think the only response to such an underhanded pick to just upset my lineup like that is to go with David. Oh my lord, yes. The man after God's own heart.
SPEAKER_04I was hoping you would uh slip by David.
SPEAKER_00I and it's not just because of that, and obviously that's a big factor, but I think me and David would have got along so well. Yeah. Even though I have no ability to play uh instr uh an instrument at all. And I'd argue that I can sing, but those you can ask your mom. It stands out to me in church a lot of times whether I can sing or not. But I just love his spirit, I love praise and worship that resonates with me. And as I've told you, spoken with your dad, and when I lead worship service, I could go all day. Just play the entire lineup, you know. Absolutely. Uh I love preaching, but I I just love praise and worship. So David, if I had when it's picking number one, it had it had to be him. It's gotta be David. If it if it wasn't if you since you took Jesus off.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, yeah. We can't take Jesus, but we can take John, we can take David. I think my second pick, man. I'm trying to pick one that I I don't think you're gonna pick. Oh, okay. So I'm hoping, I don't know if I'll be able to get him on the next round, then I think if I snatch him up. I'm gonna go ahead and take him. I'm gonna take Paul as my second pick. I'm gonna take the Apostle Paul as my second pick. Yes. Really because, you know, obviously, you know, Paul wrote so much in the word, and he's got so many different writings, but I really resonate with one of the more powerful testimonies in the Word of God. You know, the King Saul and getting delivered on the road to Damascus, and you know, getting his name changed and everything like that, the Lord sending someone to heal his blindness and the person that he was to what God used him for. Yeah, truly powerful. So I'm gonna take Paul at the second pick.
SPEAKER_00I like I like Paul. That's a really good pick. I and I, you know, obviously he's written, he has so much knowledge. Paul is who I would wish I could be. Yes, yes. Just I I I equivalent him to uh Brother Dinkins. Yeah, just such a learned person, familiar with the scriptures, and then once you unite that with his walk with Christ, and he's able to just fold together Old Testament, New Testament, and explain things just so so well. Yeah. Um, I really like Paul.
SPEAKER_04Absolutely, yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um man, you made my second pick, you know, kind of hard.
SPEAKER_04It's gonna get difficult once we get to these later picks.
SPEAKER_00I think I'll I will number two in my lineup would have to be the disciple that I think I line up the most with, and that's John. Okay, yeah. I, you know, he's attributed to writing revelations. Yes. Um, but it's somebody who Christ calls the disciple, uh my beloved disciple. Yes. And kind of like opposite of a bit of what Peter is, he's kind of he's very hot-headed and he's just gonna go in and do something. I think, you know, John is somebody who just I just want to be near Jesus, I just want to hear what he's saying, yeah, and then to go on and just, you know, shine for Christ and and spread the gospel and do so many great things. But it at one point he said, I just want to put my hand head on your chest to hear your heartbeat, Lord. And I just want to hear the heartbeat of God. And I'm like, man, I that's that's exactly how I feel sometimes. I I just want to see hear God's heartbeat.
SPEAKER_04Absolutely. Yeah, absolutely. Okay. Okay. I don't I wasn't gonna take, I wasn't gonna go to John's on the list. So that pick was pretty safe. Yeah. I'm filtering through a couple different ones here. I'm trying to see who I could take at number three. Yeah, I'm gonna take I think I can get her. I think I can get her in the next round. So I'm gonna go ahead and take Abraham at the three spot. Okay. I'm gonna take Abraham. Just Father of many nations. You can take Abraham. Father of many nations, and you know, uh, just another powerful testimony has his faith, and you know, the story that comes to mind with Abraham for everybody is, you know, the story of going up the mountain with uh with Isaac, and you know, having to go up there and God telling you, Hey, you're basically gonna kill your son at the top of this mountain. You're gonna kill your son, you're gonna Sacrifice him, but yet to still have the faith to be like, Lord, you know, I know what you're asking me to do is brutal and it's scary and it's uncomfortable, and I absolutely do not want to do it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04But I'm going to be obedient because I know you will bless me for it. And obviously we know the story, they get up to the top, find the sacrifice up there. Yep. And, you know, it's just a testament to his faith. And I think if we can all have that mindset, obviously not to the extremity of, you know, sacrificing a child forever. But if you can have the mindset of, you know, Lord, I'm going to do whatever you ask me, no matter how scary, no matter how brutal, no matter how uncomfortable it is, I'm going to do it. I'm going to step out in faith because I know through my obedience you're going to bless me for that.
SPEAKER_00No, that's that's a good one. I I think though it took uh him a little while to get things right, and he wanted to be a little headstrong and go his own way, at the end of it all, he was called the fri a friend of God, the friend of God. Absolutely. And it it was what is it, uh Hebrews that says it was counted to him for unto righteousness' faith. Yes. Um trust in God, and that's that that's such a phenomenal thing to be said of someone's life.
SPEAKER_04Absolutely. Absolutely, absolutely.
SPEAKER_00So number three. Number three. About to take him out from under you. Okay. It's like you had a linebacker linebacker lined up for your next pick, and I'm taking them, and it's got to be the man, Moses.
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00And it's just, you know, who doesn't want to be have a little bit of backstory like I was a prince of a kingdom and had that kind of pedigree. But then, of course, just all that he did, I am jealous of him being able to have that burning bush experience. Yeah. You know, sit there and and and talk to God in the middle of the desert somewhere, and uh it's just such an awesome testimony. But something I heard recently that really just like blew uh blew me away is God told Moses no twice. It was once when the hey, I want to see you. And he said, Oh, you can't look at me. You can see you, I'll you know what, I'll let you see the backside, but you can't look at me. No man can live and see me. Yeah. And then he's and then he wanted to go into the promised land, and God said, No, because of your disobedience, I'm not gonna let you into the promised land.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00But on the Mountain of Transfiguration, there appeared unto him Moses. Yes. And he got to look at Jesus, the face of God, and he was in the promised land.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And so to me, that was just so phenomenal about uh Moses' story that it didn't end there outside the promised land, and then of course his life and the awesome things that he did. Uh to be the herald of God that's coming in and talking to the king of Egypt and saying, Hey, let my people go, and I'm going to do these wonders and work these signs, and it's such an awesome relationship and testimony.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, absolutely. That's a great pick. And Moses, I mean, just a true man of God, and you know, another testimony of I'm gonna step out and do what you're telling me to do, Lord. Even though I don't want to do it, I don't feel like I'm the man for the job. Yes. I'm gonna be obedient.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's a great pick. I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go with uh I'm gonna go with a pick here. I need somebody to really be the glue for this team.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_04And somebody to kind of be the peacekeeper, if you will.
SPEAKER_00Don't take it from me.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna go, and this is this might be out there. I'm gonna go with Mary Magdalene. Okay. Fourth pick. Okay. Okay, and let me tell you why. Yes. I believe that when all of these um true, you could say powerful, anointed men of God, you get them all in a room, maybe they'll have some disagreement, maybe some egos will start flowing. But Mary will be there and be like, hey, do you guys remember the God that we serve? Yeah. Yeah. Do you guys remember, you know, the guy I saw outside of his tomb after he died? Like, come on, guys. Just what a testimony and a true woman of faith. Yes. Somebody that literally would follow Jesus anywhere that he went and stay attached at the hip to him, not because of what she heard from others, not because of what other people were telling her to do, but because of what he did for her life. Yes, and what he delivered her from. Just wanting that love, just seeking after that love. Every time, anytime she could be next to Jesus, she was there.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04No, I just think she's she'll be a good pick for this team here for sure.
SPEAKER_00I I really like that pick. I think Mary just has such an awesome testimony that you know other people may look at her past and judge her and look down upon her and say she doesn't belong with you know God's people. Yeah. But it's so inaccurate. And it it goes to show that we're not measured on, you know, personal value or personal worth. It's just how much God loves us. Absolutely. When it's put beneath the blood, then all that other stuff just doesn't matter. That's right. Yeah. Uh so my fourth pick, and I I like the I like the the path you're kind of you're walking down on that one. Um, and so I was afraid you were going to take her uh as your fourth pick, the way you were talking about. Okay. But you didn't. Uh my fourth pick would have to be Ruth.
SPEAKER_04I was gonna I was between her and Mary. I was between both of them. Yeah. I think it's a great pick.
SPEAKER_00Ruth's Ruth's story may not stand out as much, uh, seem up here at uh at first glance. Yeah. The standard managers like Moses or Abraham or David, as far as like there's this big battles being fought, there's this the crashing down of you know walls or you know uh plagues and fiery stones falling from heaven, but it's such a testimony of someone who is, you know, was not born uh to the Hebrew people, that she was an outsider.
SPEAKER_04Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00But there was a persistent, you know, nature of per uh uh personality within her. Yeah. That she followed her mother-in-law back to Beth uh back to Israel, and that her that there's this there's a scripture that talks about she's she was known in the town or known in the the area as being a a faithful person, uh being a a person of high esteem. Yeah. And she ends up being outside of the vine, like many of us were, being grafted in and not just grafted into Israel as it's like, hey, that's great, you know, you'd be a part of God's chosen people, but he she became part of the lineage of Christ. And I think that's so phenomenal for us. It's a testimony of, hey, just because we're Gentiles, we weren't uh born uh naturally from the lineage of Abraham, yeah, perhaps. But we it that's no bearing on our salvation, that's no bearing on how God looks at us. He now crafts us in the vine and we're considered one of his. We are absolutely God's people now. Yeah. And I think Ruth is the embodiment of someone who is faithful, someone who is loyal, someone, you know, who is not going to be deterred by anything that's going on in this world with her with her walk. And I think Ruth's story is just such uh so um so awesome. And she gets to be the great-grandmother of of King David.
SPEAKER_04There we go. Yes, that's right. That's right. She gets to round out this this a couple of stacked teams here for sure. Yes. But I do I do love Ruth's story, man. That's a great pick. Okay, for my fifth pick here. Fifth and final. I think I've decided here, I think I'm gonna go with a guy who you know the Lord put a lot of trust in and a guy that I believe can is truly anointed and preached a lot of powerful messages. I'm gonna take Peter as my last pick. I'm gonna take Peter, you know, the name that means rock, according to the Lord. And, you know, he tells him, you know, upon this rock I'll build my church. He gives Peter the keys to the kingdom, and you really get to see Peter shine in the book of Acts in the first couple chapters. And kind of being the lead person, the lead apostle, the lead disciple to really head that up. You know, we obviously know his famous message in Acts chapter two. Yes. And, you know, how he says, basically, founding the new church with that message, and thousands were baptized as they heard that word. In Acts chapter one, you can read about the day of Pentecost and the Spirit descending upon all of them in the upper room, him being part of that group of the hundred and twenty that were obedient to the Lord's command before he left, go and wait in Jerusalem. Just wait for the promise of the Father. Yeah. And the obedience he showed through that waiting, and then having the boldness to step out in faith and speak a message like that to thousands. And you can just see as you read the word, and a lot of people, you know, we talk about Acts 2.38, and it's a powerful scripture. Yeah. If you need the plan of salvation, just read that scripture and you'll find it. But a lot of people, they don't get, they don't get into, you know, verses 39 through 41, those last few scriptures when it talks about thousands being baptized and the fear of the Lord coming upon them. Yeah. Showing that the message that Peter preached, stepping out in boldness with the Holy Spirit, the conviction that was brought upon the hearts of those people, yeah, and the thousands that turned their life to Christ in that moment. Just, you know, I gotta take Peter at that last pick.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's that's a good one. Yeah, Peter's awesome. I I love his story. I you know, I I love his persistence, I love his a bit of his demeanor, and you know, i I I think too, Peter is is just kind of a his he's just a fisherman, you know. Start out like that. And I think a lot of people will look at your pedigree, look at your past, your education, or something like that, to be like, okay, well, you're qualified. Yeah. And I think uh on every metric, Peter would not have been qualified by the world's standards. Yeah. But God said, Oh no, no, no. You you were I'm gonna make you fishers of men. Absolutely. And uh of uh, you know, uh many of the testimonies in in the Bible, uh Peter was, you know, one of the most successful fishers of men that I can I can think of. Absolutely, yeah.
SPEAKER_04His story just resonates with me, man. Yeah. So I'll I'll gladly take him at the last time.
SPEAKER_00So gladly taken, rounding out that that that lineup. Yeah. And it's a good one. It's a good one. Uh number five for me, I think, just because I I really love his story, and I think that there aren't many that is like it. Um, but it's gotta be Samuel. Yes, that's a great point. And during a time as we just we've we we come out of the stories of the judges, and there was Israel's fallen in and fallen out, and you know, they're serving God for 30 years, 40 years, and then they're out of serving God, and God's sending these great men of the Lord that are coming in and delivering them with uh, you know, whatever problem they're in, and whether it's you know subjugation of another people or you know, driving out, you know, those that are doing wrong, um, I think it culminates with kind of you know the pre-King time period and then into the king time period uh of you know King Saul. But Samuel is kind of like that mediator.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And and just from the very beginning, before he's even born, there, you know, his mother, um, she has this persistence and she has this determination. She wants to get something from God, and she's just pouring out herself. And then once she gets, you know, Samuel's born, she gives them back unto the Lord. Yes. And he's one of the few people in the Old Testament that you that that describes like hey he's heard the audible voice of the Lord. Samuel, Samuel, when he finally understands who's calling him, he said, Here I am, Lord, a servant hearest. Yeah. And then of course he goes on to anoint some kings and just be, you know, known throughout all of Israel as like this guy is a prophet of the Lord. Yeah. And if you want something, actually, when when Saul is chasing after his father's sheep that we go missing, his his servant that's with him and says, I know a guy who who can give us an answer. Uh so we just got to get a gift up together for him, and then we're gonna go so we'll go see him, and he'll give us an answer.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And just to have that kind of reputation, but not just that, but a relationship with God uh to be so faithful and just have such an awesome story. I really, I really like Samuel.
SPEAKER_04What a faithful man of God. That's a great last pick, too. We just swoop in and take him at the five spot there. Man, a couple of good lists here. Uh we got so Jesse's list here. Um, Jesse has David, the disciple John, Moses, Ruth, and Samuel. I had John the Baptist, Paul, Abraham, Mary Magdalene, and Peter. Couple of great lineups there. Oh, yeah. Two great lists. 100%. Um, both of those lists will be in the comment section below. So go into the comments, type out who you had your favorite list. We'll kind of see, you know, we'll judge next week and see what's going on. Um, hopefully we'll have, you know, uh dad back next week. We can have three lists going. Um, but I've got a list of topics that I've got I think would be very fun. So that's really good. I like it. You know, speaking of fun, what a fun episode we've had here today. Yeah, it's been phenomenal. What a fun conversation. And, you know, we just, you know, I I don't think you guys, the camera probably truly can't grasp how much fun we truly have just getting together and talking about the Lord, what he's done for our life, what he's doing for other people's lives. You know, that truly there's nothing like it. And a lot of times I love sharing it. Yeah, a lot of times a simple conversation like that could could be a deliverance for somebody. Could, you know, be a word of revelation. So that that's the main reason we do this and bring it out to you guys is we just want you all to be in on these conversations that we have all the time. I mean, they're just so good. And if you're not having these conversations with your friend group, how about you plant the seed and start those conversations up? Because I'm telling you, you'll receive nothing but blessings from you. Last thing we want to do before we get out of here, of course, we just want to pray over you guys watching, listening right now. Pray that the Lord blesses your week and pray that whatever revelation you need this week, you receive that. Let's go before the Lord right now. Lord, we love you today. We thank you, God, for another opportunity to record a podcast episode and a beautiful conversation in your spirit. God, I'm speaking to everyone under the sound of my voice right now. Everyone watching, listening to this podcast episode, Lord, I pray that you give them the truth that they are seeking. I pray that you flood their heart with mercy, grace. And once that heart is clean, God, I pray that you give them the revelation that they're looking for. Whether it be a revelation of what situation they're in, a revelation of a solution, or just a simple revelation of your truth. God, I pray that you flood them with your love right now in this moment. God, we truly seek nothing but your love. That's a true relationship, God. We just want nothing but for you to love us as we know you do, and God, we will love you back in that same manner. We give you all the glory for this, Lord. Lord Jesus, God, speak to me in Jesse's heart, God. Speak what you would have us to speak on these future podcast episodes. Flood us with revelation of messages that you would have us to speak to these listeners, these viewers, God. Lord Jesus, cleanse us in this moment. Let our hearts be cleansed. Let us be empty vessels for you, Lord Jesus. And let these viewers receive the revelation that they are vessels for your kingdom and that you have a divine calling and purpose for their life. Lord Jesus, we thank you so much for this opportunity. And we pour out our praise upon you for all of this, Lord, is to glorify your mighty name. In Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Well, what a powerful episode we've had up here. You know, awesome. Um dad really missed out. I'm missing him, though. I miss him for sure. Um, you know, I I love his faith, and you know, I love that he comes up here and joins us, even though, you know, you know, sometimes we're all a little uncomfortable in front of the camera.
