Have some time, talk about the Lord with other people. It'll truly bless you. But if you don't have time for it, you always have us. Tune into the Spirit Unleash podcast. We're coming out weekly. Um try to share this with somebody. If you have somebody in your life that needs a word from God that you think this podcast can help, how about you share it with them right now? Take a few moments, subscribe to the channel, notifications on so you know when new stuff's coming out. And we'll just get right into the conversation here. I mean, we have um been talking. Dad is on a fast right now. There's some things going on, um, and I've I didn't want to talk about this with you guys before, but I have, you may have heard it on Sunday, a little testimony, but there have been some things going on spiritually, and I feel like something is Dad said it before, uh, I believe something is being prepared imminently. And um I think the Lord is wanting to do a mighty work in this community. Maybe it's with these viewers, these listeners, I don't know. Yeah, but God has been showing me things, been speaking some things into my life, and I'm so excited for what he has and the plans that he has, and the number one thing that I've been reading this week, been hearing in song this week, is to just let his will be done.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And uh, you know, I've fully just, you know, I've had, you know, the devil's tried to bring anxiety this week, stress, whatever it is, but I'm I'm really proud of what God is doing and how he is, you know, bringing me out of those things, bringing relief not only to me, but to Sierra to Charlotte, to family. And, you know, I just I can't wait to see what he's preparing. Yes, I really can. I think it's gonna be my eating. And um, you know, I think it's not only for the people of this church, it's not only for the people of this podcast, but I believe it's for everybody. And um it the time is now, and I think that uh revival is very close.

SPEAKER_00

It's on the horizon. It's definitely on the horizon. I feel like we're already in it, but I I think there's a there is a great revival going that's even more than we can think or imagine.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. And uh truly too, you know, I spoke about it on Sunday, and it's been uh the Lord's been dealing with me on it all week, but um I was teaching on uh how to hear God's voice more clearly. And he dropped something into my spirit during that lesson, and you know, he kind of just took over and was like, hey, you know, God still works through spiritual encounters. Yeah. You know, things of that nature, dreams, visions, whatever it is, God is still working in those supernatural ways. Yes. And I believe it a time has come where uh we're gonna be getting back to that very soon.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_02

And when you was talking about or speaking about hearing God's voice, you know, I wanted, I didn't say it because we had gone we got to the end of it, but you know, hearing God's voice, yes, you have to slow down and you have to take the time and you've got to, you know, meditate you know in his word and listen. But for me, hearing God's voice, I hear God's voice many ways, but I hear people through people. Yes, absolutely. You know, I hear his voice, I hear the word from him from others, you know. It may not be directly, you know, telling me, you know, what it is I want to do, but it's a confirmation of whatever it was that I was praying about. Yeah. But it's coming through them. Absolutely. And that that right there is a faith builder. It really is. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Sorry, I'm looking something up, because there's fine. Yeah, but I I believe that's the main way God speaks to us is through his vessels. Yes. You know, through through the vessels of the kingdom, yeah, through people being obedient. And you know, the more we submit to his will, the more we just trust and obey, yeah. I mean, we're gonna see God speaking in ways we've never had before. And you know, I've seen it, we've seen it in our church recently. I know it's been happening everywhere, but God is just moving right now, and I think it's it's mighty, and there's something coming, something big, and um we're gonna start hearing his voice very clear.

SPEAKER_00

So uh it's you know, it's very timely, and I I think it's just the Lord. Uh, but I was listening to a message from uh uh T. W. Barnes about spiritual gifts. And there had there's a sentiment amongst some Christians, well uh uh point out a specific faith or anything like that, that the time of gifts and spiritual, you know, uh healing, lay on in hands, holy ghost, all those type of things, was kind of just for the disciples. Sure. Right after, you know, Christ had risen and they received the Holy Ghost just to kind of build up the church, get it going, have some miracles going on, get some excitement, get people's attention, but then it it stopped with them. And that's not biblical. No. And one scripture that he hit on, and it just uh to me it just seems as so plain as day, yeah, is found in 1 Corinthians 1 and 7. It says, so that ye come behind in no gift, waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. And so to me, that says that all the gifts we're not we're not gonna lack in in gifts. That's right. Yeah. They're all for us. And we're going to be using them until God returns, until Christ comes back. And so that means and if Christ isn't back yet, then we still need we still have the opportunity to have those gifts in operation in our lives, in our church, in our family, whether it's healing, prophecy, tongues, interpretation of tongues, healings, miracles, all that, all those great and wonderful things confirming his word um should be going on in our church. And I look forward to seeing more of those things taking place.

SPEAKER_02

And it's there for the taking. Yes. And it's just, you know, how the vessel, how the willing vessel, how deep they want to go. If they want to go deep in it, and if they want to get deeper in their relationship with God, they want to get closer with God, then he'll provide a gift, he will give them a gift, he'll give it to them. And it's just all up to, you know, the vessel, the person, and what the person wants. And if the person, you know, the it is fine right where they're at, fine. You know, stay idle. That's okay. There's nothing wrong with that.

SPEAKER_01

I would tell everybody, you know, if if experiencing spiritual gifts and spiritual works in your life, if that's something you want, come get it. That's right. Because it's always there. And, you know, I've I'll sit here and watch church service in this very sanctuary, and I'll feel the worship atmosphere. And sometimes you can get in a state of comfort and everything like that, and the Lord will just that the fire will start rising up, and I know it does for you too, Dad. Same way. And you'll just want to be like, man, just come and get it. Just come and feed, come and dine, because it's all here. That's right. The atmosphere has been built. We have to understand that we are vessels, temples of the living God, is what the Bible says. He resides on the inside of us. Therefore, all the gifts can be used through you in operation. I understand that certain people, you may have different callings upon your life. Maybe you speak in tongues more than others, maybe you prophesy more than others, whatever it is. But any gift can be used in any vessel that God wants to work through. Any gift at all. So if you don't think that God can, you know, use you for spiritual gifts because of your past or what you're going through, whatever, that's just a lie that the enemy is telling. That's right. Absolutely. If you want spiritual works done in your life, if you want to be a vessel for the kingdom, come and take his hand. That's right. Because that's all you have to do. It's a free gift. Just like the salvation that we claim, the spiritual gifts are the same way. It's there for the taking. You just have to be willing to go deeper. That's right.

SPEAKER_02

That's right. When the fire is built, man, get close to the fire. You know, if you're cold and you know you're cold, come and come. Why wouldn't you get a fire? Why wouldn't you? You know, though another one, I mean, just get up here on it. I mean, you know. Because once you experience the warmth of Jesus, there ain't no other warmth that you can have. Nothing compares. Nothing compares. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And I feel like some people too that are very spiritually gifted. Some people I've seen, we've seen through encounters, through many other things, but there's some people that are reserved with their gifts, and there's some people that are just like, I want to give to everybody.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And, you know, there's certainly different atmospheres, like the encounter camp atmosphere, you have an all-men group there, so everybody's very comfortable with each other. Not really any judgment. Not saying that there's judgment in every church, but when you have just a normal church service, there couldn't be a spirit of judgment there, obviously. Um, and it's harder to get into that spiritual atmosphere. But if you're in a good worship service, if you're in a good altar call, if you hear an absolute sermon from the Lord and you feel that he's speaking to you to use your gift, then just use it. That's right. No.

SPEAKER_00

I I think we're called to use our gifts because in the in the word it says, freely received, freely you should give. So these wonderful gifts the Lord is pouring out with no respect to persons. Um why wouldn't we want to share that with others?

SPEAKER_02

I want everybody to have what I got. Exactly, exactly. It's a gift is for you to receive. It's not for me to hold on to, it's for me to, you know, and I want everybody to have what I got. And that's what I tell everybody. I want you to have what I got.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

What can I get? How can I get there? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It's not hard. I think it gets together. It takes work, but it's not hard. I think a gift that gets taken for granted oftentimes, and a lot of people don't realize they have it. I believe every newbought believer can have this gift is armor bearing. And what I mean by that is more of a um just taking a burden for somebody. You know, there's been, I've had many experiences during an altar service, a worship service. I know you two have as well, but for some reason, maybe everything's going right in our life, maybe we're doing all the right things, but you come to the altar and you just feel such a burden on you. You don't know who it who it's for, who it is, but then you see people start to step out and you see people step out in faith. Yes. Because God is saying, you know what, I'm gonna take this burden off of you for a second. I'm gonna give it to an armor bearer.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Because I know that they've got the faith, they've got the strength to take that and take it right to the altar so that you can have an opportunity to step out in faith and come to me. And I think that's a gift that's taken so much for granted. You know, we live in a in a time of uh show me an I'll believe.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Once I see it, I'll believe it. There's so many people that are like, well, I want to see healings done, I want to see miracles, I want to see, you know, the tongues of fire, I want to see all this. Armor bearing is just oftentimes not seen, but it's one of the most powerful gifts I've ever seen. When you just have the saints of God at the altar, at in their pew, wherever it's at, just bearing the weight for others so they can just touch the hem of his garment, just make it to the altar.

SPEAKER_00

I I think oftentimes when you get in church, we get uh so focused on or or get captivated with leadership. Yeah. As far as like, hey, I want to be in the pulpit, or I want to be the person leading worship service, I want to be doing this, doing that. But I think it's even even as a lead in a leadership position, we kind of feel like, oh, well, I'm I I got the burden, I'm I'm carrying what I need to carry, I'm not gonna accept any help. But like you talked about, you know, uh being an armor bearer. I think that's so important. Even one of the greatest men in the in the in the Bible that had literally seen the backside of God and you know watched him, you know, with a finger scroll out the Ten Commandments, he needed Joshua to be there to be to hold his arms up whenever they were fighting. I I can't remember in the uh which which individuals they were at war with at the time, but I think that's what you know what gave Joshua the experience, but then uh also some a little bit of knowledge to say, hey, I'm not the leader right now, but I'll bear a little bit of his armor, I'll carry a little bit of the weight. Um, and we learned so much from doing that, I think.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, the Lord Himself had help carrying the cross. Yeah. You know, he took the weight of all of our sin, but at the same time he was in a human body.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

He had a fleshly body, he was all God, all man at the same time, and he had help carrying that burden. And I believe, you know, if Jesus wanted to carry that cross all the way up that hill, then he would have done it. There's a reason that that man was there, there's a reason that that is in the word of God, and I believe it's to show that we are called to be armor bearers, to take the burden for others when it's needed. And oftentimes we're called to cast our burdens upon the Lord at the foot of the cross. Yeah, he's the ultimate armor bearer. And that's why I think it's so beautiful when you have the saints of God gathered in a church service, worship service, wherever it is, yeah, and you see the burden come upon them, and what do they do? They just flock to the feet of Christ. Yeah. Because they know exactly where it needs to go. And there's some people that are coming to the Lord that don't know that, and if you can help them in that way, it's a beautiful thing. It truly is. And that you know, the gifts are just so beautiful to see. And with what God's been doing lately, I we're gonna see more and more of it.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, I'm excited and look forward to it, and I believe it. And I believe you're gonna see more that doesn't, that don't normally step out, they're gonna start stepping out. They're gonna start seeing and feeling, and they're gonna start stepping out to faith and start helping others. They're gonna start laying hands on others, they're gonna, you're gonna see it. I mean, I believe it. I mean, because you have, you know, altar workers in the congregation. You have them out there. They're just timid, scared. You know, yeah. Am I gonna say the right thing? Am I gonna do the right thing? Well, you stepping back and sitting in your pew and standing back, you're not doing the right thing. Yeah, yeah. When he pushes you and pricks you, you need to step out in faith and obey him and get with it.

SPEAKER_01

And it's awesome when you see that that typical person, whether it's in a church, Bible study, whatever, whatever it is you guys are doing, when you see that timid person or that shy person, yeah, and all of a sudden God works through them to step out. Yeah, everybody else is like, who is this guy? Right. Who what's going on here? Must be God work. Yeah. And you know, he'll God will work like that, you know. Um there you could talk about the woman with the issue of blood, you know, super timid. She had to get through the crowd. All she knew was that she had this issue for years. If she could just get to Jesus, yeah, she pushed through, pushed through, timid and shy, but she grabbed his garment, and then God used her to speak to a whole crowd that day. You know, everybody heard him when he picked her up and said, It wasn't my clothing that healed you, but it was your faith.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_01

They saw this woman who had just sat back and been at the back of the crowd, and she was sick, they didn't want nothing to do with her, but all of a sudden the Lord called out her faith. They were like, Whoa. Yeah, maybe I need to get some of this faith. Yeah, you know, it's an awesome thing. It truly is. And I think uh revival's coming. I believe it's here, like you said, Brother Jesse. And um one of the ways that we get into revival is worship.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, right. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

We love to worship right around here, yes, we do. We love talking about worship music. It's a powerful thing. Um, I believe it's gonna be the key because I see so many on you know on TikTok, whatever it is, um, I just see so many, I've seen so many reels recently of just worship.

SPEAKER_03

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_01

People breaking out in worship, whether it's that old time worship like like you like to watch, Matt, you know, that that old Holy Ghost worship, you know, Jason Pugh worship.

SPEAKER_02

Bobby Pin flinging, that's right, that's right. Whether it's you kicking off, tie throwing jacket, we could use a little bit of that around the trash.

SPEAKER_01

Sure, sure, sure. I think everybody could have done it. Yeah. Whether it's that or whether it's just a crying out worship, a weeping worship, whatever it is, it all it is is an atmosphere builder. Yeah, it is. You know, it's a taste of what heaven's gonna be like. That's right. We're gonna worship for a thousand years. It's gonna be such a fun time, it's gonna be a joyful time, and we can get a taste of that here on earth because Christ lives on the inside of us. So if we just let him rise up, worship, let the spirit cry out, we'll get a little taste of what heaven is like. How is worship helping us this week? Well, we'll go into our worship song of the week. Um, I'll start off. My worship song of the week is going to be, it's called So Be It's by Elevation Worship. Um, it's on their newer album that they just came out with, the one that has uh Call God and uh I know a name, stuff like that. Yeah, yes. Um it's called So Be It. And I think why it's been speaking to me recently is just because of what I was talking about before, just openly more trusting in God, just giving him everything. The song in the chorus literally talks about um if you say that it's done, so be it. Yeah, you know, whatever it is, I'll be content, just so be it, Lord. Whatever you tell me, whatever it is, it is final, it is finished, so be it. Whatever it is, I'll do it. Whatever your plan is, I'll step into it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Whatever you want me to do, God, I trust in your will, so be it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And it's just been speaking to me so heavily this week. So no, I I like that. I think there's a lot of times that we we're overthinking things and we, you know, get caught up in what we want to happen or the way we see a situation going and it doesn't. And I I I think what I think it was one of Pastor's verses for his sermon Sunday, but it's the steps of a good man ordered of the Lord. Or maybe even when it was in your sermon, I can't remember which. But man, that that scripture has just been, you know, I just can't get away from it the past couple of weeks. And, you know, just some things have been good falling in my life, the unexpectedly, doors being open and stuff like that. And and I started to think and doubt and you know, say, okay, I'm not sure. But I was like, honestly, Lord, it's your will that I'm just gonna keep walking. I'm gonna believe that every step I'm taking, if I'm giving him the glory and you know, keeping my eyes on him, uh, keep my heart on him, that it's just going to be the way that he wants it. And that's what I want. I want it the way whatever he wants, that's what I want. That's right. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

You want me to go?

SPEAKER_00

No, I got I got mine. I honestly, I can't even I can't remember if I've said this already, but I could not I keep I run it to the song, you know, on my phone playlist and I've run it onto the radio. Okay. And I was like, man, if if I've said this before, then I'm just gonna say it again because it's for somebody else. Okay. But uh it's uh goodbye yesterday.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah yesterday.

SPEAKER_00

Um Elevation Rhythm? Yeah, elevation rhythm, yes. And sometimes I I started out I actually I think I was jogging um a lot on sun uh Saturday mornings, and I like to get like an upbeat song when I'm sitting there playing, you know, running. And I ran across this one just randomly, and I just love the way it's open. Uh it's it to me, it's like I'm gonna stop living on the past. Thing the old places are dead, and I'm looking back. Yeah, yeah. So I'm not gonna waste another day in my old ways. That's right. Praise the Lord. I've been born again. And it just continuously goes on like, hey, goodbye yesterday. I'm not gonna let it determine you know my present situations. And I love it. It's very upbeat, easy to worship to, easy to get excited about. And I just I I like that song.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's a great song. I mean, it's uh it's upbeat, it speaks about it. I think why it's such a great song is because it's so relatable. Yeah, you know, you've got just people that there's so many people coming to Christ now that have dealt with things in their past. Everybody has it, but when you can finally just get the belief, all right, you know what? That's all behind me. Yes. Goodbye yesterday. I'm living in the light of a new day. It's beautiful. I can walk in the light of Christ. Yeah, that's a great song.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it is. I really love it. It's a good song. And it's amazing that, you know, we're talking about, you know, living in the past, living in goodbye to yesterday. Yeah. Uh I actually had two songs, but you know, one I heard on the way here, but the one that really hit me was uh, I think it was it was actually Monday morning. Um, it hit me. Uh Mercy by Elevation Worship. Yes. Um every time I hear that song, um it breaks my heart. And for anybody listening, listen to that song. And if it doesn't touch you, then I'm sorry. I really do. I really am. Because the thing about that song is that it made me, it it doesn't make me reflect it dwell on the past, but it makes me reflect back on the past of the things that, you know, think about what mercy, reflect on what mercy and grace done for you. Where would you be without the mercy and grace of God? Where would you be, you know, if it wasn't for his mercy about what you had said or what you had done or what you had been, you'd be dead on the street or in it. And just the words of that song, it touches me every time. And it's an amazing song, and I love it. Yeah. I really love it because of his mercy and grace. The two best friends that you could ever have. Oh, yes. His mercy and me wherever I would go. That's right. If it wasn't for his mercy, where would we be? I don't want to think about it. You know, a lot of people, you know, um, you know, and I I think I've said this before, is you know, a lot of people will come lay their stuff, they'll they'll lay everything at the foot of the cross, you know, but sometimes they have a tendency when they lay it down at the foot of the cross, they want to pick it back up.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Yep, yep. And it's not meant for you to pick it back up. When you pick it up, It back up, it's just as you nailed him right back to the cross.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

When you leave it laying there, leave it laying there. Are you going to stumble? Are you going to fall? Are you going to are you going to mess up? Yes, you definitely are.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Mercy's there for a reason. And yes, Bible says his mercies are new each morning. Yes, it is. But at the same time, you have to make the choice to allow him to pour that mercy on you.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_01

If you're constantly just denying it and denying it and denying it, and I did it for so long, dealing with feelings of unworthiness. Yeah. Thinking that, Lord, I see the things that you're drawing me into, but I'm just not worthy. I'm just, I'm not the guy for this. I don't want to do it. I don't want to, you know, stain you by doing this. If you can get past the mindset that you you are worthy of his love, you are worthy of his mercy, you are worthy of his grace, then you learn that we are not perfect by any means.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

We're born into a life of sin. We fight this flesh every day. There's a warring within our members, the Bible says. So if you know that, you know what, there is a fight for my soul, but I'm gonna fight on the winning side. Yes. I'm gonna fight with the Lord, I'm gonna let him pour his mercy out upon me because that's how we win this thing, is we just accept his mercy and we keep trucking.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and we run the race. It's funny he said that about, you know, not being perfect.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

What I sent out this morning. Not perfect, but forgiven.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yes. Oh yes. Thank you, Lord.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Nobody's perfect. And anybody's anybody out there that's perfect, please let us know how perfect you are and how you're living. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

There's a reason. There's a reason a second Adam came. Right. Exactly. There's a reason he went to the cross, and it's for that exact reason. Yes. We're not perfect. Nope. But his forgiveness is new each day. That's right. His mercies are new each morning. That's right. And I would much rather know him now as a merciful father than on judgment day as the ultimate judge. Yes. So get to know him now, get a relationship with him, and he'll pour his mercy out upon you.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you will. And it's truly beautiful. You know, one of the things you should you just said is something I've been thinking about this week as well. Um, talking about people, oh, looking back at my past and oh, uh whatever it is. I I've heard simple people say, if I could just go back, I would change this, I would change that, I would do something a little different. Um honestly, I've been thinking about this week, and I was like, you know what? I don't ever want to go back as far and to make anything change and say, oh, that that seems horrible. Wouldn't you want to do this different? No, because where I'm at today, it shows me that God's hands were in it. And I don't want to take anything out of his hands. So all the all that I went through and everything like that, would I wish it could have been a little different? Yes. But I don't want the power to go back and change anything. Say, I I I believe God's hands was on it and he was doing what he wanted to do, and now where I'm at today, I I don't want to risk that at all. No. No.

SPEAKER_02

And that's you know, like you said, you know, the thing, you know, reflecting on the past and not dwelling on it. But and I've said this, and people probably think I'm crazy when I say this, is you know, I thank God for my past. Yeah. I mean, if it wasn't for our past, where we'd be, would would we be sitting around this table today? Would we be talking about the Lord? Would we be, you know, in a church, you know, would we be doing what we're doing, you know, um, praying, laying hands on people, you know, you know, giving our gifts or rece you know to others. No, it wouldn't. If it wasn't for our past, if we didn't go through what we had to go through to get to us to this point to make us realize that we were completely broken. And it took the hands of the potter to throw us back on the wheel and put a little bit of water on that on that clay to mold us and shape us into what he wanted us to be. Not what we wanted us to be because of what we were living in in the world, but what he wanted us to be.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It takes a Damascus road. Yes. Yes, it truly does. I mean, look at that story, the story of Paul. I I mean, you got one of the greatest apostles in the Word of God. And look at the past he had, the road that he went down. And it I I love the story of Paul so much because it's perhaps one of the most relatable when it comes to us in this time today. You know, we've all got that Damascus road, but if we can be like Paul and our eyes truly be opened to what the Lord has for our life, there's no turning back out of that.

SPEAKER_02

Everybody needs to have a God encounter. Yes. We all they need to have, like you said, that Damascus road encounter. Yes. Be knocked to your knocked to the ground, blinded by the you know, glory of God, the light of God, for them to you know realize what's going on.

SPEAKER_01

I suggest some people's gotta have that. Absolutely, absolutely. Well, we'll get into our uh our final segment here. I know we got people from the congregation coming. That's all right. But we're gonna get into top five. If dad would have read the group text, he would know what the top five is. But don't worry. What is the top five? It's easy. What's the top five? It's top five, okay? Worship artists. Worship artists, top five worship artists. We're gonna do the same thing as last week or last time.

SPEAKER_00

And I'm gonna be trying to be reach out there a little differently because I know me and you share a lot of favorites. I think we all do. So that's what's going on. I'm gonna try to be a little yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Um, so we'll do snake draft just like last time. Um we'll do um we'll do pick a number again to um do the order. Just go dad, pick number one through fifty. Twenty-seven. Okay, Jesse.

SPEAKER_00

Uh I will do uh forty. I'm gonna go two. I'm gonna prices right up. Two? Okay. Alright, go ahead and ask her. Hey Siri. Give me a random number one through fifty.

SPEAKER_01

45. Oh, come on. All right. Alright, Jesse, you'll get first selection. Do you so it's snake draft style, so obviously if you go first, you'll have if you go third on the first round, you'll have the back-to-back picks. You could go first and take one. Um, so do you want to go, where do you want to go in the order?

SPEAKER_00

Uh so if I go first and the person going around or whatever will be.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so you'll you'd go first and then the third person will get two picks, but you would get two picks on your essentially first and third are gonna get back-to-back picks. Uh I guess I will go first. Okay, first. Daddy, I'm guessing you want third. I don't care.

SPEAKER_02

I'll give you third. Alright. Just so I don't, you know, if he peaks it, then I can't fix it. Oh, I know, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I know I know how you do it. All right, rubble with it. All right, Jesse. Alright, my first pick. Um, I don't I I think I ran across this artist about almost 10 years ago. And I I feel like a lot of his songs just really hit me. And, you know, there's there's artists you like to sing with and worship with, and there's other artists you like to pray with and just kind of get into a prayer mode. And I think that's how I feel about Eddie James. Oh, okay. There are so many of his songs that I just feel like I'm like, all right, it's time to pray, you know. Uh not that I you couldn't worship with it with him at all, but uh yeah, I I really like him. And and I I haven't listened to a lot of him recently, but Eddie James is a pretty good one. Oh, yeah. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Very good. I'm gonna go second. I'm gonna. Sierra would get mad if I didn't take him. And he's he's spoken to me through a lot of his songs. We saw him recently. I'm gonna take Brandon Lake at my first pig. Yes. Um, you know, just so many of his songs speak to me, and Sierra actually put me on to Brandon Lake probably three or four years ago. Yeah. When he wasn't as big as he is now, obviously. Touring around the world and everything like that. But he's just got a great ministry, and when we saw him live in concert, I could just feel that he was not fake up there.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And it not just through his songs, but the words he was preaching and the ministry, it was just beautiful. So I'm gonna take Brandon Lake at the first pick.

SPEAKER_02

I'm gonna go with uh Jason Crab for my first pick. I love Jason Crab, I love his music. Um I especially love uh the song Um God Can Use a Broken Man. Yes, yep. Um that song touches it it speaks, it speaks to me. I mean, and I know it was originally, I believe Zach Williams wrote the song and then give it to Jason to sing, right? I think that's how that went down. So that song, and there's many other Jason Crab songs that I love, I really love. Uh my second one is um I'll go with Zach Williams. Yep. I love Zach Williams. I mean, he's got some phenomenal songs. Yes, he does. Um he I watched a uh he there's one song that he has remade, uh, The Goodness of God. Um and I know there's a lot of artists that sing The Goodness of God, but he has remade it, and what he done was is when he remade it and he sung it, I watched the video that was tied to YouTube and he sang it and played for it in a prison. Yeah, and let me tell you something, when he sung that song, and just to see, you know, inmates, people, God's children, they were God's children, even though they have, you know, they've had a past, right? Oh yeah, they still can be saved. It doesn't matter where you're at in the prison, it doesn't matter. And to be able to watch that video and hear that song, it is it is phenomenal. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Alright. I'm gonna, for my second pick, I'm gonna take Elevation Worship.

SPEAKER_03

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01

Especially that new album, man. I mean, I know dad loves the song, but Call God on that album. Oh, yeah, they call it that song is that that new album they came out with is incredible. They've got so many features. They're they're live, their live albums are just uh, I think second to none. So I'm gonna take Elevation Worship at the two. And Jesse, you got back to back. So you got to back two picks here.

SPEAKER_00

So I want to pick one probably you guys have never heard of. Okay. Maybe. Uh, but I listened to him a lot as a kid. So I I feel like it's just I couldn't couldn't go without you know missing a song because I listened to so many my family did for a long time back in the uh 90s, and his name is Carmen. Oh yeah. Oh, have you? I've heard Carmen. Really? Okay, I've heard Carmen. Carmen has I I would say he was uh he was definitely new and exciting uh for us growing up. We've come out of the 80s, so a lot of uh just artists that were a little bit slower, maybe a little more, you know, definitely have a country influence, and he was like this, you know, I won't say the pop star of Christian music, but definitely was uh a uh a big successful individual at the time and listened to a lot of his songs and really enjoyed it. Um another one, which I'm a big fan of Jason Crab, but honestly, here recently I've been listening to, I believe it's his brother, Adam Crab. Oh and he's him he has had some really good songs that I have heard recently. Um one of them I think is is The Blood. The other one that I listen to a lot is Sometimes He Whispers. Um just some really phenomenal songs that I um I really love and has really made it into my uh library um in our staples. The whole Crab family's unbelievable.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, they are very talented. We saw him at uh a church, local church here recently. Yeah, he had his uh Kelly Crab, his sister, and then her daughters were with them as well. And those girls can sing. Yeah, it's unbelievable. Number three for me, um I'm trifling between two. I don't want dad to take my other one. I would never. Yes, you would. You literally took two of my picks last week. Um let me go with I'm gonna go older school for me, probably not for y'all. But I'm gonna take the Gaither Vocal Band.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Come on, Gaither Vocal Band. Yeah, they got some great, you know, I call it old time gospel music. Y'all might not think so, but yeah. They've they've had a lot of songs speak to me, so I'm gonna take them at three.

SPEAKER_02

Alright. I got back to back, right?

SPEAKER_01

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_02

Back to back. Let's see here. I'm going with casting crowns.

SPEAKER_00

I figured you'd take that one. Yeah. When I didn't touch it, I was like, I gotta go to the city.

SPEAKER_02

I love casting crowns. Yes. And then what's my next one? Charity Gale. Yeah, that's why I didn't touch it too. She was on my list, but I was like, nah, like I was like, I was gonna see if I could sneak them in the in the four and five. Yeah, I do love charity gale.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. All right. Back to me for four. You know what? Give me skillet at the four.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, skillet. You know, I'm I'm we're not talking about a frying pan now. No, you're not. That is a group that is called Skillet.

SPEAKER_01

Skillet at the four. Um if you've never heard skillet, uh You're probably not gonna hear it in church, so you probably won't go play the four cigarettes.

SPEAKER_03

I'm gonna take skillet.

SPEAKER_01

They got they got some good stuff. Okay. I'm gonna take them and then Jesse. These are your last two.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Well, since you spit picked Skillet, I think I gotta go with Yezy and Omsky. Oh no. But um I really enjoyed Third Day. I think that they um they're not as popular as they were uh, you know, a couple years ago, but I think they've had a lot of really good songs, and I have definitely enjoyed several of their albums. Um and the last one, since you did go with Skillet, um, a newer one that I just recently stumbled upon. I think I sent you one of those, and it's called the Band Jaren genre.

SPEAKER_01

That War Room songs. Yes, the War Room songs. War cry. Warcry. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

I've ran a couple of couple others, and um honestly, I'm just like, yeah, I kind of enjoy that coming out of just playing video games and the different albums that come on with those. I'm like, there's something, some energy to it, exciting. Never never played for church, but I haven't I have actually enjoyed some of their some of their uh songs. Awesome.

SPEAKER_01

Alright, back to me. Last pick. I'm gonna go between a couple. Um think about this a minute. You got one more.

SPEAKER_02

I know I do. I got it. It's tough. It is tough. He's got an easy list right there.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, he does.

SPEAKER_01

That's like the top 10 of anybody's list. Man, there's so many that I'm gonna go with. This is tough. I got this. Do it. I'm gonna go with the first Pentecostal church of North Little Rock. Yeah, you did. If you haven't heard of this little church, probably not Little Church, out of North Little Rock, you need to go look up their music. Some fire in that music.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, I've got a couple of there. I'm like them. All right. I'm on my last one, right? That's the last one. Rounded out. Man. So tough. I'm gonna go with Josh Baldwin.

SPEAKER_00

Josh Baldwin. Yeah, that's a good one.

SPEAKER_02

Yep. Josh Baldwin.

SPEAKER_01

That's a good one. I love Josh Baldwin's song. All right. Top five lists. Let's see. Dad has Jason Crab, Zach Williams, Casting Crowns, Charity Gale, and Josh Baldwin. That's a great list. Jesse has Eddie James, Carmen, Adam Krab, third day in the band Jaron, another good one. Then I've got Brandon Lake, Elevation Worship, Gaither Vocal Band, Skillet, and FPC out of North Little Rock. Three good lists there. Yeah. I mean, we left so many off, but you know, just going with our favorites.

SPEAKER_00
