are, in fact, you have received the same Holy Spirit that Jesus Christ received upon the Holy Spirit descending upon him during his baptism, then you should be walking righteously as Jesus did while Now, there are people who say that they are Christ believers, but their walk, their fruit is far from it. 00:01:13.120 --> 00:01:15.280 They're not bearing righteous fruit. 00:01:15.519 --> 00:01:17.840 They're still living any way they want to. 00:01:18.000 --> 00:01:30.640 And the Apostle Paul warns us heavily against such people, not even to have anything to do with them, because of 00:06:25.759 Says here, now sometime after these things happened, Joseph was told, Your father is sick. 00:06:25.920 --> 00:06:32.879 Now, at this time, Joseph has reached the place that God had already designed for his life to be since he was 17 years old. 00:06:33.040 --> 00:06:39.199 When he was telling his brothers that he was going to be someone very prominent in the world, and they got jealous. 00:06:39.360 --> 00:06:41.680 Eventually, they sold him off into slavery. 00:06:41.759 --> 00:06:43.439 They wanted to originally kill him. 00:06:43.600 --> 00:06:48.160 But Reuben kept uh persuading them not to do that. 00:06:48.399 --> 00:06:56.879 And let's think about this thing for a minute because he was trying to get him back home to Israel, whose name was formerly named Jacob. 00:07:08.480 Okay. 00:07:08.959 --> 00:07:11.680 Joseph at this time has forgiven his brothers. 00:07:11.920 --> 00:07:16.000 He's back reunited with his dad, who thought he was dead all these years. the last parts of his life. 00:07:27.759 --> 00:07:44.000 And before he leaves, he's going to shower his twelve sons with blessings and, of course, unfortunately, cursings for some, specifically Reuben, because something evil that Reuben did, that Jacob had not forgotten. 00:07:44.480 --> 00:07:55.199 And even though he will be part of the his family will be part of the 12 tribes, there is some things that consequences that had to be dealt with. 00:07:55.439 --> 00:07:59.920 These blessings and cursings held a lot of weight when the fathers gave them. 00:08:00.160 --> 00:08:01.360 ago, as Jose as Jacob was running from his brother Esau, his mother Rachel, not Rachel, but his mother Rebecca told him to go to her family, Uncle Laman, who he ended up working for for over 20 years and was deceived worse than he ever deceived anyone. 00:09:22.960 --> 00:09:26.559 He met his match as far as deception went. 00:09:26.879 --> 00:09:27.200 Okay. 00:09:27.840 --> 00:09:42.320 But before he got to that point, he had an encounter with God where he saw heaven basically open, and there was a ladder, and angels were going up and down from heaven to earth. 00:09:42.639 --> 00:09:48.240 And now you hear Jesus mention this, you will see the Son of Man. 00:09:48.799 --> 00:09:49.120 Okay. 00:09:50.080 --> 00:09:54.480 Going down this bridge basically that connects heaven I will make you fruitful and numerous, and I will make you a great company of people, and will give this land to your descendants after you as an everlasting possession. 00:10:21.600 --> 00:10:25.840 Now, this is similar to the things he told Abraham and Isaac. 00:10:26.240 --> 00:10:26.559 Okay. 00:10:27.279 --> 00:10:29.600 Alright now, watch this. 00:10:29.919 --> 00:10:39.840 Your two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, who were born to you in the land of Egypt, before I came to you in Egypt, are mine. 00:10:40.480 --> 00:10:41.200 Look at this. 00:10:41.440 --> 00:10:43.919 Ephraim and Manasseh shall be mine. 00:10:44.080 --> 00:10:53.279 That is, watch this, adopted as my heirs and sons as surely as Reuben and Simon are my sons. 00:10:53.519 --> 00:10:59.200 Now, something significant you have to understand about this adoption. 00:11:00.639 --> 00:11:16.399 Similarly to the adoption of the Spirit, the Apostle Paul was chosen to go to the Gentiles, whom the Bible was said, whom the Bible says was far off from God, but now has been made nigh by the blood of Jesus. 00:11:17.679 --> 00:11:21.759 Joseph married a woman that was not a Hebrew woman. 00:11:21.919 --> 00:11:22.799 She was not a Jew. 00:11:22.879 --> 00:11:26.960 She was an Egyptian, given to him a daughter of Pharaoh. 00:11:28.240 --> 00:11:30.559 I need y'all to understand this now. 00:11:31.519 --> 00:11:43.360 So originally, his children would not have been a part of the original plan of those twelve sons who formed the 12 tribes. 00:11:44.879 --> 00:11:56.000 But what Jacob did under the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit is now he has adopted these two sons who weren't full-blooded Jews. 00:11:56.399 --> 00:11:58.559 I need y'all to understand this concept. 00:11:59.440 --> 00:12:03.519 Because this
