about inspiration. 00:00:29.600 --> 00:00:35.759 Because I've studied the information of the Passover, or excuse me, the uh tabernacle, and it's incredibly rich. 00:00:36.000 --> 00:00:51.840 Took me six months to rebuild the tabernacle in a scale model about the size of this table, and we just put every pin and every hoop and every jot and every tittle that was there, every color and all the sizes and the lengths and everything, all representing various things. 00:00:52.159 --> 00:01:01.439 But when I started doing a study of the tabernacle in the in the emphasis of reaching God, I thought to myself, what was the purpose of the tabernacle? 00:01:01.600 --> 00:01:02.960 Well, it was to get to God. 00:01:03.119 --> 00:01:10.079 It was to be able to find God, to be able to find a connection with the sovereign, and to go into the holiest of holies. 00:01:10.159 --> 00:01:24.480 And I'm thinking to myself, if God loved us so much that he was willing to provide a way that we could get to him, a way that he could get to us, so that he could talk to us and we could talk to him, that's about prayer. 00:01:24.879 --> 00:01:27.120 And that's something that we really struggle with. 00:01:27.200 --> 00:01:29.200 I'll be honest with you, of all the things. 00:01:29.599 --> 00:01:40.000 I mean, I I can go out soul winning, I can preach the word, I can I can I can baptize, I can have weddings and funerals, and I can build churches and plant churches and revitalize churches. 00:01:40.079 --> 00:01:52.879 But man, when it comes down to that face-to-face walk with God praying for an hour, hour and a half, I had to I have to have a system, I have to have a method in order to keep my attention because my mind wanders so quickly. 00:01:53.040 --> 00:01:59.040 I mean, I could be off chasing rabbits in about 10 to 30 seconds when I come in and getting on my knees in prayer. 00:01:59.200 --> 00:02:04.879 And uh, I wanted a system, I wanted a means whereby I could I could systematically walk to God. 00:02:04.959 --> 00:02:11.599 And this tabernacle series began to open to me some inspiration on how to build my prayer life. 00:02:11.759 --> 00:02:12.960 And that's what it's all about. 00:02:13.360 --> 00:02:23.439 I don't expect hundreds and hundreds of people uh to be able to be interested in this because I'm gonna tell you what, it's the very few sometimes Testament in the wilderness, and and what are you doing taking us back into this antiquated stuff called tabernacle? 00:02:42.319 --> 00:02:43.120 We're away from that. 00:02:43.199 --> 00:02:45.280 We're in Jesus now, we're in the New Testament. 00:02:45.360 --> 00:02:51.280 And I said, Oh, just hang on, because the Bible has Jesus in it all the way from Genesis to Revelation. 00:02:51.439 --> 00:03:33.120 And uh he he he's in uh Exodus. 00:03:33.360 --> 00:03:45.439 We find him everywhere through the book of Exodus, writing the symbolism and giving the giving the type uh the typology, and then God is found uh all through the scriptures pointing to Jesus, uh pointing to the blood. 00:03:45.599 --> 00:03:48.560 The bloodline runs all the way from Genesis to Revelation. 00:03:48.719 --> 00:03:49.759 It's a book of red. 00:03:50.080 --> 00:03:57.599 And I praise God that uh this book represents Jesus in such a profound way, and the whole tabernacle points to Jesus. 00:03:57.840 --> 00:04:09.039 Well, this tabernacle and all the details of it, all the various uh ins and outs of the tabernacle leads us on a walk to go into the holiest of holies, where God the Father dwells. 00:04:09.199 --> 00:04:15.280 Now, let me just kind of fill you in on a little bit here, because we talked about the three sections, and it's very important we understand this. 00:04:15.439 --> 00:04:25.279 God's symbol symbol symbology, symbol, symbolical representation here of having the outer court, then we have the inner court, which is inside here. 00:04:25.360 --> 00:04:34.160 There's the outer court, we got the inner court in here where they serve, and then we go into the holiest of holies, and that's in the in the holy place, that's the spirit of God. 00:04:34.240 --> 00:04:38.720 So we got we got uh uh Jesus out here in the outer court. 00:04:38.879 --> 00:04:45.600 He became he dwelt among us, he took on himself the form of God, he he became God, God in flesh, Emmanuel. 00:04:45.759 --> 00:04:50.480 And when we think about God, we we think about the physical Jesus, he's the outer court. 00:04:50.639 --> 00:04:52.240 And here's what we're gonna be talking about. 00:04:52.319 --> 00:04:56.959 Here's at the brazen altar here, and then we have the labor, all talking about Jesus. 00:04:57.120 --> 00:05:04.240 He washed our sins away, he became the sacrificial lamb, he died for us as a sacrifice to pay the price. 00:05:04.399 --> 00:05:05.680 So he's the outer court. 00:05:05.759 --> 00:05:12.079 Then we go to the inner court, which is where the Holy Spirit dwells, the seven spirits of God represented by the lampstand. 00:05:12.240 --> 00:05:23.279 Then we find over here the table of showbread, the blood of Jesus, the the word of God, that the that the Holy Spirit opens our minds and illuminates our minds and helps us to understand the scriptures. 00:05:23.439 --> 00:05:35.040 That's where the Holy Spirit dwells, that's where his ministry is, then the golden altar where the Bible says the Holy Spirit's there to make intercession for us, praying our prayers, taking with groanings which we cannot utter to the Father. --> 00:05:59.600 You don't go any further till you come by Jesus, the outer court. 00:05:59.759 --> 00:06:02.399 Then you go into the inner court, then you come into the Holy Spirit. 00:06:02.560 --> 00:06:05.680 The Holy Spirit starts opening your mind, starts turning on the light. 00:06:05.839 --> 00:06:06.959 The Bible makes sense. 00:06:07.120 --> 00:06:10.079 He teaches us and reveals truth to us. 00:06:10.319 --> 00:06:16.240 And then, thirdly, we find that the Holy Spirit is praying for us and he's interceding for us. 00:06:16.319 --> 00:06:20.000 He's going to the Father saying, Oh, accept this one by the blood of Jesus. 00:06:20.240 --> 00:06:22.160 Listen to him, receive him, accept him. 00:06:22.319 --> 00:06:28.399 So the Holy Spirit's going into the inner sanctum, the holiest of holies, saying to the Father, Take this one. 00:06:28.560 --> 00:06:29.600 He's a child of God. 00:06:29.759 --> 00:06:34.560 He's been blood washed in the blood of Jesus, and uh I present him to you. 00:06:34.800 --> 00:06:38.000 So we then come into the very presence of God. 00:06:38.319 --> 00:06:50.000 Uh and then this tabernacle that we talked about this morning, this physical or uh sign of the tabernacle in the wilderness now is represented as God moved from the tabernacle in the wilderness. 00:06:50.160 --> 00:06:50.879 Where does he move? 00:06:51.040 --> 00:06:53.199 He moved into our hearts, into our lives. 00:06:53.360 --> 00:06:55.519 And we also have three compartments. 00:06:55.759 --> 00:07:03.839 And man, when we start worshiping God and we start praying the way God wants us to pray, we understand it's praying in the body. 00:07:04.079 --> 00:07:09.360 See, sometimes when we get mixed up and we get sidetracked, we don't get into the spirit of prayer. 00:07:09.600 --> 00:07:22.560 We get hung up on the body, the body gets weary and the flesh gets weak and our mind starts wandering, or we get hung up in the soulish part, the intellect, emotion, and will, and we never move from that into the holiest of holies, into the spirit. 00:07:22.720 --> 00:07:33.519 And that's what God wants us to, He wants us to pray in body, soul, and spirit, so that we can connect with this Trinity of God in this in this uh relationship that God has given to us. 00:07:33.600 --> 00:07:45.360 So we have the Trinity, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Father, and then we have inside of us that uh body, outward shelf, Jesus, the physical part of us that everyone can see. 00:07:45.439 --> 00:07:47.839 Then we go to the soul, the intellect, emotion, and will. thresh room, uh the threshold and into the very throne room of God. 00:08:00.639 --> 00:08:04.160 Well, we're gonna talk about the gate, and also I'm gonna blow the trumpet here. 00:08:04.240 --> 00:08:05.920 Notice, notice here what we got. 00:08:06.079 --> 00:08:13.120 We got these walls around here, and we don't walls say, walls say, do not enter. 00:08:13.439 --> 00:08:15.120 That's what walls are for. 00:08:15.439 --> 00:08:18.959 Walls tell us two things a wall does. 00:08:19.120 --> 00:08:25.199 A wall keeps what's in here from getting out and keep what out here from getting in. Oh, oh, that's just a bunch of fabric here. 00:08:37.200 --> 00:08:40.559 We can sneak under the wall, or we can climb over that thing. 00:08:40.720 --> 00:08:54.399 But I'm gonna tell you what, you're walking on dangerous territory when you try to get through God's wall, because I'll tell you what, there's a barrier around that that uh you cannot penetrate other than coming the way that God has ordained for us to come to Him. 00:08:54.639 --> 00:08:56.799 And that's the process of this whole thing. 00:08:56.960 --> 00:08:59.360 God, God is here in the Holies of Holies. 00:08:59.440 --> 00:09:07.440 He's put this big old fence around 150 feet this way, 75 feet this way, but right here in the midst of this is a gate. 00:09:07.600 --> 00:09:09.200 And you know what a gate says? seven feet high, but when God says you can't go over them or you can't go under them, I'm telling you, those walls are high. 00:09:22.879 --> 00:09:24.799 We're hearing a lot about walls today, aren't we? 00:09:25.039 --> 00:09:29.039 I'm gonna build, build a I'm gonna build a wall. 00:09:29.519 --> 00:09:36.000 And that wall's gonna be so high, and that wall is gonna be so big, it's gonna be 00:10:05.840 --> 00:10:23.840 No one's gonna penetrate the wall because in heaven there is a wall that God says you try to get there through your works or your membership or your or given your body to
