SPEAKER_00

Welcome. I'm so happy that you're here. I uh am excited to talk about the emotion code today. Um, if you want to introduce yourself, I would love that.

SPEAKER_01

I am Dr. Stephanie Bodhi. I am a trained naturopath, and I also do this lovely modality called emotion code.

SPEAKER_00

Lovely. I met um Dr. Bodie through Instagram. I made a post probably like six months ago at least, I feel like, about more woo-woo friends and like more woo-woo people in my life. And then I met through that. I feel like I've met so many wonderful people through the internet. And I just love I love that when you send out like a woo-woo call, the woo-woo girls just flood it. Where are my people at? Seriously. Um, if you want to explain to those who maybe don't know what it is what the emotion code is, um also like how you got into into doing it.

SPEAKER_01

All right. So, first of all, the emotion code helps us release emotional stress patterns or emotional weight that we have trapped in our body or our subconscious. Because when we have an experience, any experience in life, right, we create an emotional response to it. And most of the time we can process it naturally. However, if we don't have the time, the ability, or want to process it at that time, those things become unresolved. And then that really like it it creates an energetic imprint into our subconscious, into our body, right? And that can live in our body and our subconscious for years to come. So this this is just a really easy way to clean it up. You don't have to talk about it, you don't need to relive it, you don't need to know what it is because we are muscle testing, either virtually or in person, to ask the subconscious, hey, is there anything in here that no longer serves a purpose? And we can be very specific. And we're like, is there something related to this pain? Is there something related to my chronic health issue? Is there something related to this goal, this achievement that I want to do? And we can chip away. Or sometimes we just like, I don't know, I don't feel like my best self. What can I do to be my best self? So we gently release it through governing meridian, just swiping the hand over the head, doing some breath work, and then generally you feel more energetic, you feel lighter, you'll feel calmer. And then we we go into our normal everyday life. We have better emotional intelligence moving forward. We see we move through things with more ease, because that's the goal. We're not trying to be robots, we're not trying to not have emotions. That would be boring. We want to learn how to have emotions in a healthy way, and that's really why I brought it into my practice because there's always like a mental emotional stress to any health condition. So if we can get in that parasympathetic, if we can like make that easier on people, then we have a better chance to have um more optimal health.

SPEAKER_00

When you were talking about muscle testing, can you explain for like someone who maybe doesn't know what that is or how somebody could do it on themselves?

SPEAKER_01

This is where people think I'm a witch. Which I don't, it's not it's not a bad thing when someone calls it. But if you're in person, I would push on your arm. Your arm would either lock or unlock, and that would indicate an answer. I'm asking a question. You can do it with true falses, you can do it with yes noes, you can do it on yourself, right? If I'm virtually muscle testing, if you get the emotion code book, there is a lot of different ways you could do it. This is the way that I do it. So I'll do a circle within a circle, pulsing my fingers to ask a question and get an answer. So that's just a really simple explanation. We're just using either your body in person or virtually connecting to your subconscious to ask a question. And I'm working off a chart, which we can I can give Hannah and she can show, or you can go to my Instagram. But I'm just muscle testing to say, is it in a column? Right? Is the emotion in an A column, a B column, odd number, like a process of elimination on a chart? Then when I find the emotion, I ask a question. Do I need to know more? Is it connected to an age, person, place, or thing? And that's it. Those are the only questions I'm really asking. So I'm just muscle testing to get an answer from the subconscious.

SPEAKER_00

Does that make sense? Yeah, that's that makes perfect sense. And then I know that you were saying this at the beginning and like from sessions that we've done together, you talk about like going over your like from the front to the back like this. Um, yeah. What exactly does that do? And I know people talk about like magnets versus like not a magnet. What's your like take on that?

SPEAKER_01

So I'm just using the governing meridian. And if you've had acupuncture or chiropractic care, you have worked with meridians. And this is just an energy center in the body. So it's our primary, one of our primary energy pathways, the governing meridian, and it goes from the tailbone all up the spine down to the tip of the nose. So when I'm releasing it, right, I'm just taking my hand or I'll take a magnet and I'll go from between the eyes down to the nape of the neck three to five times, and then a deep breath. And that connects energetically to the body's meridian system, and then it releases it from the subconscious. So if you've ever heard of brain spotting or EMDR, they're doing that through eye movement. So you're tracing um an optical wand or you're looking at a light, and then that's tapping into the subconscious. We're muscle testing to tap into the subconscious and then releasing it through breath work and an energetic pathway, which is the governing meridian.

SPEAKER_00

Got it. Is there any like I feel like emotion code is probably good for quite literally any emotion or ailment or anything, but is there an ideal like client or like patient that could get it, or would you say it's for like literally anybody?

SPEAKER_01

If you um have a heartbeat, you can have emotion code. So I work on animals, uh, horses, dogs, everything. I work on little babies, and I my oldest client is 92, and my youngest client, like I mean, it's probably a neuterow. So that's just pretty young. So it's really anyone can have it. Now I will say if I'm working on an animal or a child, I would just use my hand. I wouldn't use a magnet because we are electromagnetic energy. So you can just take your hand over your head. You could grab a refrigerator magnet and just do that. It doesn't have to be a special magnet, doesn't have to cost a bunch of money. It is just using electromagnetic energy over an energy pathway, which is the governing meridian.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, because I remember when I was reading the emotion code book, he was talking about like how you could use a fridge magnet. And I and then I made a post about it on, I think it was like TikTok maybe, and people were saying that they wear magnets. So I I'm like, yeah, what what is like the purpose of doing that? Of like wearing a magnet.

SPEAKER_01

Well, we're electromagnetic energy, and so some people will use magnets for pain relief. Um, I mean, there's a bunch of different purposes for that, so it's pretty obtuse, but a lot of people will use them to correct imbalances in the body, and so if there's a pain or something, they might use it on meridian points or where the pain is specifically, um, and then that's a whole nother rabbit hole we can get into. But this is just again, I can use my hand. And when I'm working on myself day to day, I'm just using my hand. So I do use magnets with clients, but for a lot of the time for myself, I'm cleaning it up in the moment. I'm like, let's just get rid of it. This is like this is a big feeling. I want to make sure I'm having that feeling in a healthy way. And I want to make sure I'm cleaning it up so it doesn't come back and get me later. Because that's an another thing I think with this work, we get to understand is that we don't have to wait till it's really bad to clean it up. We can do preventative care. We can learn how to have better emotional intelligence, how to process things in healthier ways. And if it feels really big, what to do about that, right? I'm going to release any bitterness or anger that I feel towards this person so that I can have a healthy boundary so I can communicate so it doesn't ruin my day. So I think that's the beauty of emotion code is that we learn to do it and incorporate it in our life. And then we go back and clean up stuff that's already happened.

SPEAKER_00

Could somebody like if somebody okay, say there's someone listening or like someone even just here right now who's like, okay, I want to try doing it on myself. Like, can we just like do it on ourselves whenever, like throughout 100%?

SPEAKER_01

So in the book, you'll see um you just have to find the way to work through the chart that makes sense to you. Some people like dousing, right? They get a pendulum and they'll ask a yes or no question. Sometimes they're muscle testing like this. You could actually just try it today and just say, if you're feeling a feeling, right? There's something that's sticky, you're ruminating, there's just oh, it's just a feeling. You don't even have to muscle test it. You can take your hand over your head and swipe three to five times over the head with intent to release. Like, I want to release this really intense feeling in my chest, and then take a deep breath. And then most of the time, oh say I'm feeling a little dizzy right now. And most of the time that's enough to like clean it up, to have it have movement and it passes, and I'm able to let go of it because it's now it's moving. Now it because that's what right? Emotions, motion. I want it to go in and out like water. It's when we tamp that emotion down, right? Like a dam, and we either explode or implode that we have a problem. We want it to have flow. We want to be able to come in and out of feelings. You should be able to feel angry if you're angry, if you feel unjust, if you're, you know, somebody crossed the boundary, someone said something, something they didn't do, something that they were gonna say they do. Things have been right. You abandoned me, you betrayed me. I'm I'm disgusted at your behavior. You get to have that feeling, but it's gotta have movement. We've got to figure out a healthy way to feel it and then let it go.

SPEAKER_00

I know when I so my first session with you, I was like really one. I was I just like anything that is like in this wheelhouse, I'm like so down for, but I was like, I genuinely don't know how this is gonna work. I read the book, so I like kind of had an idea. And when I left our first session, one when you were doing things, like I didn't talk the first session, like could you just like do your muscle testing? And I physically felt like my body, like it felt like things are being like pulled out of my body. It was the most insane experience in the best way possible. Um, so for anyone that's listening or here, if you haven't gotten it done and you want to, you a thousand percent should because I felt I was saying this to you before we started, like I literally felt like I was like on a cloud after so what would you what would you two things? One, what would you recommend for like the amount of sessions that somebody should get when starting? Or is there not?

SPEAKER_01

I mean, that there's not. I mean, you really just need to be a little self-aware after a session to say, hey, this is how it showed up in my life. I handle that situation differently. That feels easier. Now, I will say there is something to be said about stacking some sessions closer together as you're creating momentum. And that's like with any healthy modality that we're doing, right? Being consistent and then starting starting to clean stuff up and and trying it for a couple of times to see how it can help us. And then you know, kind of when you need it. I have people who see me weekly, I have see people who see me bi-weekly once a month. Um, there is something to be said about being a little bit more consistent. Now I'm really popular around the holidays because they're like, I have to go sit at my mom's house and my sister's there, and my aunt's there, and they always push my buttons. I'm like, well, let's take the buttons away. And then they come back and they're like, oh my God, it was amazing. Everyone was being brats and I didn't care and I had a great time. And I'm like, that's amazing. So I mean, everyone's different, everyone has a unique case of why they would even come to see me. But I would say, like, if you can put the time and the effort and the finances into doing a couple of sessions closer together, you'll start to see how great you feel and how it just is like, oh, there's a place for this in my mental health. This is like a good thing to keep doing and maintenance to clean things up. But one session, you're gonna feel good either way.

SPEAKER_00

I felt I felt so good after I was like, wait, I I don't know what's going on, but I love it. Um, is there any so when I had first when I had first posted about that you were gonna be on, somebody DM'd me and they basically had said something along the effects of like they had gone gotten the emotion code done, I'm assuming by just like in general by somebody else, but that they had an autoimmune disease and then they had gotten the emotion code done. They tried like everything and they got the emotion code done, and like it they basically it like healed me. And so I'm wondering if you've had any um patients or like experiences where someone's come to you with something that they've been struggling with for like a prolonged period of time, and then through emotion code, it was like kind of just released.

SPEAKER_01

I personally, me. So my best friend got a brain tumor in our early 30s. I became one of her primary caregivers. No, I would never change that role, I would always do that forever. However, I did not know how to process what was happening. I ran a restaurant on the time, I worked 17 hours, and then I had to take care of her. And I would just be like, uh, I could cry Thursday at three. I just I don't have time like right now. It's not that I didn't want to, it's just I didn't have the time or the ability to even process what was happening. And my body was like, okay, come back. And I was like, yeah, yeah, come back. And now we can see within the healing community that there is a link with autoimmune issues and an emotional or stressful event. So we can kind of pinpoint it around a two-year mark. And mine was about two years, 18 months. Uh, it came back as an autoimmune issue. So it's not so much always having the emotion, sometimes it's suppressing the emotion, right? Sometimes it's tamping it down or just not giving it the time to fully feel it, which is fine. Like we don't get an instruction manual on how to be humans and how to have feelings, but this is where emotion code can come in and clean it up and help us heal, right? Help us. I had one woman come in, she was 75, she came in for back pain, right? So we did the emotional instruction code around the back pain. I knew nothing of this woman's life. I don't, I don't need to know. It's not about me, it's about the client. So we found that there was a sexual trauma around age 10 that she did not know how to process or have the support system at the time to process it. So we released it. So not only did she not have to carry it the way she had carried it for 65 years, but she started to know notice now her pain was like at a four instead of a 10, right? She was having more good days than bad days. And then the other things that she was doing for her pain management started to be able to um take effect a little bit differently. So I've endless cases, um, and this book has endless cases of how this has helped people in in their healing as well. Because your your body can't heal in fight or flight. It just, if you're constantly in fight or flight and your body's like, we're running from a mythological bear, it hasn't gotten us yet. But we know we gotta we gotta be on it, then we can't have as much healing as we want. We need to be in that parasympathetic that rests and digests, but the nervous system needs to be trained like a muscle, like you're safe, you're okay, you're all right, you're safe, and you need to be able to get back there um and stay in it longer. And this is one of those things with nervous system regulation where emotion code can help us stay in the parasympathetic for longer periods of time or find our way to it easier.

SPEAKER_00

I know um there was something that you came up in our session, but also that they talk about in the emotion code book too, about releasing trapped emotions like generations back, like where it's like this is a trapped emotion from your mom's side, from and then you did something else where it was like how many generations back? Can you kind of talk to how that even like works? Because to me, like I understand I understand epigenetics and like I understand that things can get passed down, like generational trauma and all of that. Um but I think it's really interesting that with the emotion code, you can literally like heal your ancestors, like you could heal your lineage. So I'd love for you to like kind of expand on that maybe a little bit.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean, like you said, an epigenetic sorry, epigenetics, I can't talk today. Um, we can see that whether our family was in war or they were immigrating or they were just having a family feud, how those things get get passed on from generation, just about how we emote, how we were taught to emote, right? If you look back on like your uncles and your grandmas and our moms and how we're taught to have a feeling, right? Was our grandma one that was just like suck it up, don't cry about it, or were we given that space, right? So we can see it just in that, but there's energetically and also with DNA, how those things can get passed down and passed down and passed down. Now, I love quantum entanglement when I think about this, right? So we're thinking about two particles once connected, although having a great distance still connected. Um, so if I release it from you, I release it from anyone it's connected to, and then shared and absorbed as well. Now, here's a thing we need to think about when we're having an experience together, right? And I'm talking to you and I'm complaining about all the things I need to be complaining about, right? And you leave the situation, you can feel like absolute poopy caca, right? You're like, God damn, that woman just zapped my energy. Or we laugh so much, we're like almost peeing our pants, right? And you're gonna walk away and you're like, oh my God, that was so much fun. We are having an exchange of energy. Now, if I'm angry and you absorb anger from me, from me being angry and resentful and bitter, you're gonna feel it in your own way because we emote differently. My anger looks different than your anger. So when we're sharing an emotional weight, when we're absorbing emotional weight, or we've inherited it is an exchange of the emotion, right? I'm holding that emotion that I've taken from you, and now I'm holding it as my own. And as a practitioner or anyone who works with anyone, I think there is something to be said about learning to clean it up because I love my clients so much. I love helping people, but people come to me when they don't feel good, and that's my job. I can't take their emotional weight home from me. So every day, every Every time I'm in between clients, I am cleaning up. I'm releasing anything I absorb from that person I just worked on. I'm releasing any emotion that I shared with the person I just worked on. If I'm hanging out with someone and I start to feel weird, immediately I'm excusing myself to go to the bathroom. I'm like, whatever I just picked up from anyone in that room, I just release it from me and whoever I absorb. And usually the sensation goes away because now I understand a lot of the things I'm feeling aren't even mine. If I get a headache, I'm like, okay, is that mine even? Okay, if it is mine, I'll do something about it. But if it's not mine, I'm not carrying it. Love you so much. Not mine. And that's another thing to be a little aware of when we're going through our day. What do I need to clean up? And I I gave you and I give all my clients a nightly intentions, right? A little thing that we can say to ourselves and incorporate into our practice or whatever our belief system is. Before I go to sleep, I release any energy that is not mine, no longer serves me. I call back my energy so I can recharge and be myself tomorrow and all the days ahead. So I've given myself myself to other people. And that's mine. I gotta call back. And then I gotta clean up whatever I took on. And and with inherited too, that's that's something stacked in the deck before we even started creating our emotions. So if we release those, we definitely find our way around those emotions with more ease because you had that one at birth, right? That's not yours to carry. That was generations, and like let's get that out of there.

SPEAKER_00

Do you have any um like just as a practitioner and like a healer, um, any I guess you could call it like energetic hygiene things besides like the that you were just saying about like taking the doing the emotion code on yourself?

SPEAKER_01

Um I wear smoky quartz. So I have a smoky quartz bracelet on. I might shove it in my bra. I might have it in my office. I have quartz in all the um not quartz, I have black onyx or sugnight in all the corners of my office. Um, I'm using Florida water, Palo Santo in my office on the doorways, um, Epsom salt bath, sunshine.

SPEAKER_02

Love. I love it.

SPEAKER_01

Sometimes I just go and I wash my hands in between clients, but this again, I'm doing this all day long. I'm like a little helicopter. You know, I love cleaning it all day long. And then as a practitioner, I love Bach Remedies. So it's B-A-C-A-A-Remedies. They're little homeopathic tinctures that you take. And I can give anyone the chart, but they're just little drops, and you put them under your tongue, and they can help with any mental emotional thing that we need help with. So this type of homeopathy was for mental emotional, and then there's ones that are for physical, like boreon makes like little homeopathic pellets that are for a physical symptom. This is for mental emotional. So last year I lost about eight humans and one amazing bulldog, and I knew I was gonna grieve. I knew I was actively grieving, and I'm gonna grieve because I love so hard and I love so deeply, and that's what grief is, right? I loved this person, this animal so much, but I wanted to make sure I was gonna grieve in a healthy way. So I took the Bach remedies for grief, neutralized grief, have hope, be optimistic. And then I would do emotion code all the time with anything absorbed, anything shared, or anything I was deeply feeling about this loss, and I cleaned it up on a regular. And I really don't think I would have made through last year and building a business and being a human and all the things I had to do if I didn't do those things.

SPEAKER_00

Is so when did you when did like the emotion code become something that you were like, oh, I need to do this? This is like gonna be in my practice.

SPEAKER_01

That is a great question. I won say probably like seven-ish years ago. So I had started my journey with holistic health and was stacking up certifications and was practicing um as a holistic health practitioner. And then I was actually talking to the women uh that I work with today about how every time I'm ready to level up and get a new certification, the money just finds me. And when I am not finding it, I know it's not the right time and it's super frustrating because there's this frequency machine I want right now, and I can't seem to like get my hand on the finances to get it. And I just know in my heart, even though it's super annoying, it's just not the right time for it. Because I I can't remember what it was. I've bought and sold vintage clothes for like over 20 years, and I think I found some amazing vintage clothes that were the exact amount of money for the emotion code certification. You were able to do it online. I'm kind of like a powerhouse. Like, if I'm doing something, I'm gonna like devote all my time. And I think I like would clock like 10 hours from the time I got off work until the time I went to bed, and then I woke up just doing emotion code certifications, and then I started practicing. And that took time because I didn't trust myself. Even though I was using muscle testing for my holistic health, I was really uncomfortable doing it virtually, and I was like, there's no way that this is right, there's no way that I'm getting the right answer. And I would just practice and practice and practice. And I asked all my friends and family, I'm like, let me push on your arm, like let's hop on a call. You I give it to you for free. And like it just I got better and better and better at it. And then the more and more I've done it, the more crazy woo stuff has happened. The way it feels is different for me than when I started doing it. Like, I can feel the emotion being a release from the person, which is fine. I know how to clean it up, but it's a really good gauge if there's something else connected to it. I can feel it in my physical body. I'm like, oh, it's in my chest. Now it's in my throat, now it's in my jaw, now it's gone. So that's a good gauge where I'm like, uh, I think we've got a couple more. And then I'm checking in with the client. Sometimes they can feel it, sometimes they can't. Sometimes they're just yawning. And I'm like, oh, there we go. There's that parasympathetic. But now I can I can hear it in my brain. Like, I don't, it's like a like a a knowing where I will muscle test it to verify. But I'm like, oh, I that was that was the answer I got. 26. Okay. And then it just kind of verifies it when I muscle test. But all that stuff has gotten stronger and stronger and stronger the longer I've done it.

SPEAKER_00

So what would you say, like besides I maybe it it just was practicing, but like what how are you able to like build your confidence? I feel like so often in I don't know, at least for me and like friends of mine too, like in this space of like doing things scared or like trying new things or doing things that you like actually want to do, and then you start doing it and you feel maybe not so confident in it. Like, what would you say to somebody who is wanting to do something like this or get some type of certification, but they just don't really feel super like confident in it or in themselves?

SPEAKER_01

It's gonna suck, do it anyways. It's gonna be uncomfortable, do it anyways. You're not gonna be good right away, do it anyways. I I grew up in the skateboarding community, and there are not many people who are really good at skateboarding at the very beginning. Like under 5% of people that I've seen throughout my life are really good at it. You're gonna fall down, you're gonna skin your knee, you're gonna break something, you're gonna look like a fool. Who cares? If you want to do it, you will do it. And it's gonna be hard and it's gonna be uncomfortable. I have picked the most ridiculous things as my profession. How do I explain energy to people? I look like a wack-a-doo all the time, but now everybody knows, oh Stephanie, she's a wack-adoo, but she can help you. I don't get it, but she can help you. I don't understand it, but I always feel better when I go and see her. Like I have a little boy who comes and sees me for a motion code to help him with sports. He was not taking constructive criticism. He was really acting out when he didn't get when he wasn't good at it. When he wasn't good at it, he would have really big feelings about it. So we would do a motion code about it. And he was able to be able to calm himself down, regulate his nervous system now. He was able to take constructive criticism without getting defensive. And he's sixth grade, so it's like 12, I think, 12, 13. And he one day he goes, you know what? You're like, you're like one of those people at the circus with like a turban and like a crystal ball. You just know stuff. And I'm like, dude, I don't know anything. I'm I'm asking your subconscious. I don't know anything. Like my brain shuts off when I'm working on someone. My conscious mind gets put over there. I just kind of tap into whoever I'm working on, and then I shut off the session. If I didn't write stuff down, I wouldn't remember anything because I'm not, it's not my brain I'm working on. I'm working on the clients. So people would be like, oh, remember last session we were working on like that traumatic thing that happened at 15? I'm like, no, but great. I love it. Let's work on it again.

SPEAKER_00

That's funny. Is there any like emotions that you notice come up most like more often than others, or is it kind of just depend on the person?

SPEAKER_01

It depends on the person, but I think there's something to be said about looking for the patterns, right? So much like traditional Chinese medicine, emotion code is understanding that our organs have a physical job, right? They have the job to do something in the body for our physical self, but they also have an emotional job, they're processing certain emotions. So when I am in session with somebody, I am looking at repeating patterns. I mean, like, oh, we had a lot in the liver gallbladder area, we had a lot in the colon and the lung area. Like, is there something there? And actually, I've seen people for naturopathy for the holistic health side, and they'll come in and be like, hey, save my gallbladder. They want to take it out. I don't want to take it out. I'm like, okay, great. And we everyone has to do both when you come and see me. If you're coming for naturopathy, you have to do a motion code. It's just that's how I practice. And so we were like, okay, we'll do a motion code after we do nutrition. And everything was in the liver gallbladder care category, like anger, bitterness, resentment, take it for granted. She was like, Oh, yeah, I just got a divorce. I've been feeling all those feelings. I'm like, no wonder your gallbladder was like ready to take a kaput. It was like, girl, like this man is wearing you down. Let's go. Sometimes it's having the emotion, but sometimes it's suppressing it, not having our voice, not having good boundaries, like letting something happen, or life just happening to us, and we don't know what to do about it, so we don't. So it's some it's having it and also suppressing it can be both detrimental. Are there and let me say that again, it's not so much having the emotion, not fully letting it to process. I want you to, I want you to emote, I want you to have feelings, but it's not letting it like fully process.

SPEAKER_00

What emotions are like I know that our each organ is also linked to emotions or like certain emotions live, I don't know if I'm saying that correctly, like live certain organs. So I'm curious like emotions live where in the body, just from like a I'm actually kind of asking this selfishly because I'm trying to figure out what the fuck is going on with my skin, and I'm like, what emotion do I have to process so that my skin gets better?

SPEAKER_01

So face mapping, face mapping is good to look when you're looking at skin. You can look it up and it'll tell you like this is endocrine, I think this is like maybe an intestine or colon, and then where you're having the breakouts, you could go to and you could just start like not even muscle testing it, just going through. So, like, and I don't know if you're gonna be able to see this, but so the heart and small intestine. I would look at small intestine if I'm looking at skin, I would look at the colon. So I would just be like, if there's any abandonment attached to what's going on in my skin, I release abandonment and just go through each one and just being like blanket cleanup today. I'm gonna pick a category and I'm just gonna release anything in that category. And then when I can have a session, we'll get deeper into it. But I mean, you can be very specific, you can muscle test, you can be in session, or you can kind of just go through the chart and the charts in the book. I think there's even a chart on the free website, discoverhealing.com. Um, but the heart and small intestine are a category, then the spleen and stomach are a category, the lung and the colon are a category, liver gallbladder, bladder kidney, and then endocrine.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. I just something that I think is really interesting. Um, and I don't know necessarily what emotion would be stored here, um, but I am like kind of obsessed with learning more about the heart, and I think that it's really quite um interesting, I guess, that heart disease is like the leading cause of death in adult Americans, especially women. And I feel like our hearts have a lot to do with like even just like your heart chakra has a lot to do with like receiving and love. And so I'm curious what emotions, if any, are linked to the heart.

SPEAKER_01

Um, abandonment, betrayal, forlorn, love unreceived, um, effort unreceived, right? I did all these things and no one said thank you, no one acknowledged them. Heartache, insecurity, vulnerability, those are some in that category. And with that, right, I think it's just it's so cool because in Emotion Code, we we have these things called heart walls, and they're energetic protections we put around ourselves when we have needed them, right? They keep us safe. However, when we have them beyond their need, they can be quite stifling to our human connections, to our goals. And so we can kind of peel those away in emotion code and say, hey, there was a big event in my life. Let's see if there's a heart wall around that that I needed to protect me that I've I've kept for too long. And then we can kind of just start like unveiling that and seeing what emotions are connected to that heart wall. And again, I I see it when I work on horses, like their energetic fields are so big. And because their heart is different, right? They're a prey animal, they can hear your heartbeat like feet away. Um, there's different like holistic kind of woo-woo places. Like there's one place called the heart map, and it's in Boulder Creek, California, but they have like books and courses and stuff like that. But they talk about how magical the energetic connection to our heart is, like energetically, and then also what it does for us. I like this is like and then too, when you're getting more into body code, you you get into the actual organs and glands and meridians through the body code in emotion code, and you can go and collect uh correct it energetically. Like we can realign the heart meridian, realign the heart chakra, and then we can go to those organs and glands themselves and see energetically like what we can do.

SPEAKER_00

It's just so crazy that like I don't know, like I know that we we refer to this stuff as like woo-woo, but I'm like, I feel like this is just like not woo-woo at all. I feel like this is it's so it I don't know, it's just so interesting to me the things that that people are considering woo-woo. And I'm like, no, there's like actual if we are energy and it's getting trapped in our fucking bodies, and I don't know, it's wild to me, but I but we've seen we see it now.

SPEAKER_01

There's so many books, molecules of emotion, um, body, uh, not body code, um, the body keeps the score. Um, what is that other one? There's so many books. I have a whole list of them. Um, but we we see it now in science, even at the Mayo Clinic, there is certain, there's certain trials that they'll do with people, and they are going to like your belief system, your your actual belief code. And they will not let you talk about the disease or anything negatively while you're doing the trial, because that will impact our belief that we're sick and we're dying and we're that's the way it is, that's the way it's always gonna be, is going to impact our health. So they have to, you have to think differently when you're in these video clinic, clinical trials. You have to say, My body can heal. I'm so excited that I'm feeling better today than I did in the past, right? You're creating a new neural pathway in your brain because your your brain is always listening to you. It doesn't know the difference between feelings and facts. All feelings are facts. So this is where we can go in through emotion code and body code and say, I'm gonna correct my faulty connection with the idea of this, I'm gonna correct my relationship with to the idea of this, right? There's something called a despair anchor, a feeling we feel so strongly we believe that it's actually true. Or the post-hypnotic suggestion where I someone else made me feel this way. And you know what the kicker is of that one? Sometimes it's not even said, it's assumed. Oh no. Someone thought that. No one said that. I call those like eewer thoughts. We're like, yep, that's the way it is, that's the way it's always gonna be. Who said that? Look outside right now. That tree outside your house is not blooming the same way it did last year, it's not growing the same way it did last year. It has different leaves, it has different like patterns and the branches for where it had a storm or lightning hit it and it grew around it. We are capable of so much change. We just have to allow ourselves to move past whatever that hurdle is, thinking that it can't change or it's always gonna be that way. Yeah, I feel really strongly about that.

SPEAKER_00

So much because I feel the same way. I probably like I don't know, from my the last my last job, once I quit that job, I was like, I was on a mission to just like really lean the fuck into all the woo-woops. And like, there has to be more to life than being this fucking miserable. And I read um, oh my god, what's it called? It's called the power of the subconscious mind, and it was talking about like what you say, like your to your point earlier, like your brain isn't clocking if what you're saying is true or not. It's like truly only listening to what's being repeated. And there was a few different things in the book where they were people were like literally healing like diseases that there was like people were like, There's no way, like they're just they're done for whatever, and then they just started changing like what they were saying to themselves, what they believed, and so I feel like that just speaks to what we're talking about, which is just like what you say and what you believe matters more than anything, honestly.

SPEAKER_01

100%. I do neuropathway exercises with my clients all the time, and I'll tell you guys one that you can try because it's so ridiculous, but it makes such a big change. So I say you have to think of five ridiculous things that bring you joy, and one of mine is when a dog is in a car and it sticks its head out the window. That's Is pure joy to me. But when you do it, you got to think about it in a 3D sense. What does it look like? What does it sound like? What does it feel like? So I see the head out, ears flapping in the wind, rules everywhere. He's running from one side to the other. Like it just, oh I'm gonna start smiling now. It makes me feel so happy. And now because I've done it over and I do it when I'm brushing my teeth. I do it while I'm doing my makeup while I'm driving the car. I think about it. I do it all the time in my brain. I'm thinking about these five ridiculous things. And now when I see it, it instantly gets me out of wherever I am in my head. I'm like, oh, you know what? You're right, man. Let's turn this song up. Who cares? I don't need to think about that thing. I love that. Seven different ways. You're right. Let's just have a good day. And now my clients know that it makes me happy. So they'll text me pictures. So now my happy thing is making them happy.

SPEAKER_00

I love. I love. I feel like it's nothing so complicated. We can really just ease and flow, ease and flow, ease and flow. You know what I'm saying? Does anyone we just oh go ahead?

SPEAKER_01

No, I was just gonna say, like, we all we know how easily it is to think of all the ways something isn't gonna work out. That is a well-paved, you know, road. But in the south, I always say, because we have kudzu everywhere, it's this invasive plant. I'm like, I want that to grow over with kudzu, right? Grow over with weeds. I don't want you to be able to see that. I want to create the path where you know what, I'm gonna go this way. And if it doesn't work out, then I'll pivot. That's okay. It's not gonna go crashing down, but I'm I will have a way around it because I'm thinking about it differently. My relationship to that is differently.

SPEAKER_00

I love. I love. Thank you for being here. I want to open it up to see if anybody has any questions or any comments they want to add. Okay, we have a question. There's no such thing as a dumb question. Okay. The question is could you also use this energy on things like food, drinks, plants, maybe even in the shower? Is there a way to release negative energy from those as well? Also, is it possible to use this practice in the opposite meaning? You could use that to receive differently as well.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, I love that. Everything is energy, so why not? If if anything, it's correcting your relationship to that thing, the way you think about it, the way you use it, the way you view it. Um, everything has energy, homes have energy. You can feel it. You can feel when you walk into a space or when it's ready to you're ready to like leave a space, you're like, oh, this apartment just doesn't have good energy. We need to get out, right? You can you can tell. So, yes, um use it on anything and everything. I'm I'm way for that. Um, what was the second part of the question? Oh, yes. Okay, so in the emotion code community, we have this big form for all the practitioners start to talk to each other, and someone gave us a chart how to restore energy, and it's just like the opposite. So in every session, I release something and at the end I restore. And if you message me, I will give you the chart um and share that. But I I loved that someone thought about bringing this back, and I will say there's a really interesting thing. So when I'm releasing trapped emotions from people, I can feel them when they feel angry or sad or whatever, and then I feel the anger, sad, or whatever. Now, when I restore, I feel like I'm the Joker because it makes me smile and I'm like, I look crazy right now. But restoring healthy, good emotions to people makes me like instantly be like, that feels euphoric. That feels amazing. So I I always end my sessions with restoring emotions because I'm like, yes, let's go out on a good no.

SPEAKER_00

Love. I will say too to the um like food plants thing. I talk, I I saw some like study that they did where this I want to say he was a doctor. Um he was talking to water and it was like changing the Oh, Dr.

SPEAKER_01

Yimoto.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it was like changing the particle or like the molecular structure of the water. Um, and so ever since learning about that, I like I'll talk to my water like before my boyfriend and I eat every night. We normally like pray, but then I'll like they just like go to my feet and be like, infuse me with love, love, love. Like it probably sound crazy.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, a hundred percent. Yes. So where can there's so many cool studies about the structure of water and like you know, infusing with you? So I love that.

SPEAKER_00

Where can people find you? Um, and also what are your like what's your handles and also how can they book with you if they would like to book with you?

SPEAKER_01

Awesome. So you can find me on Instagram at doc do c period b-o-d- i. So just my name. Um, there is a website, docbodie.com, so do codie, and you can book there. You can read more about emotion code there. Um, and then my booking app is in my link on my website or my Instagram.

SPEAKER_00

Yay! Well, thank you for being on. I loved talking to you, and thank you to all the girlies who were here live. And I'll see you in the next episode. Bye. Bye.
