It says there are different kinds of gifts, but the same spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone, it is the same God at work. Now, to each one, the manifestation of the spirit is given for the common good. To one, there is given through the spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same spirit, to another faith by the same spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same spirit. And he distributes them to each one just as he determines. The title of my message is I'm too gifted for this. Can you just look at your neighbor and say, Neighbor, I'm too gifted for this? Can you slap them, punch them, snap at them? Can you can you hit them, kick them, and just say, I'm too gifted for this? Father, open up our eyes and our ears that we may receive a word from you that will change and transform our lives forevermore. Hide me behind your cross, let your voice be louder than mine. In Jesus' name we pray. Everybody say, Everybody say. Come on, many hill. Come on, many heel. I'm too gifted for this. Uh, anybody like me, you love Chick-fil-A. Where's my Chick-fil-A, people? Can you make some noise? I holler at your boy Many Hill. I love Chick-fil-A. I I I believe it is Jesus' chicken. I believe Jesus literally is in the chicken. I mean, I love me some Chick-fil-A. I got Chick-fil-A prosperity over there. I see. She she runs. If y'all don't know, that's one girl right there. She runs Chick-fil-A on Prosperity Street. Girl, you're doing the work of the Lord. You're doing the work of God's kingdom. You're too gifted for this. What you doing? Go to Chick-fil-A. Anybody get mad on Sunday because they closed on Sunday. You're my Chick-fil-A. Hunt the number one with the lemonade. Raise our daughter. Anyway, what I'm saying to you is that I love Chick-fil-A and I go there often. Stop looking at my body. That's disrespectful. Stop being like, Yeah, we can tell, Pastor. We we can tell you go there a lot. That's disrespectful. And when I go to Chick-fil-A, my wife, my wife is one of the people, she wants the points. She uses the point system. But but but I'm grown. I'm a man. I don't need no app. So my my wife, she says, if you go on a Chick-fil-A, use the app. But I'm too grown to just be using no app. So I don't use an app at Chick-fil-A. I've never used to this day, I've never used the app at Chick-fil-A. And it is an argument in my house. My wife will get mad. My wife says, Don't you go there and buy nothing, scan the thing, let me get my points. And so if I go to Chick-fil-A and I and I racked up, you know, $98.73, buying something for the whole family. My wife is mad. Because I did not scan the QR code. I taught this in the earlier service, and I had a husband meet me in the lobby. He said his wife has made him driven driven miles back. If he comes to the house without the receipt, she said, go back to Chick-fil-A and demand the receipt. Look, let me see that. Let me see. Never. I've never never scanned this. I'm supposed to scan this. This is crazy. This is wild. It was ready. You just had it ready to go. It was like boom, boom. See, she for her, because in her mind, she said, you know how much you could have got a free sandwich. You could have had a free drink. You could have got a free ice cream. And I'm like, no, I'm good. I'm good. I got ten dollars and twenty-nine cents. Ain't nobody broke over here. I don't need no it ain't got nothing to do with that. If they give it out free stuff, take it. Why am I bringing this up? I'm bringing this up because I believe when it comes to Holy Spirit, there are gifts that you have not claimed as a believer. I I think some believers are living full-price spiritual lives when the Holy Spirit has already provided free gifts, free power, free wisdom, free boldness, and free help. And I'm watching you as a believer live out this life. And you ain't you ain't pushing it and say, scan the app, scan the app, scan the app. You have not used the app of the Bible to get you scan in so that the Holy Spirit, his gifts can be activated in your life. The Holy Spirit is jam packed with gifts for the believer. And yet every day I'm seeing you, there are opportunities you have to use the gifts of the Holy Spirit. And there are opportunities and there are moments where you can use the gifts of the Holy Spirit and operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, but because you have not scanned in, you are not claiming to the gifts of the Spirit that God has for you. What I've noticed is that most of us just live by our natural talents. And there's nothing wrong with natural talents except for the fact that you're a believer. You're saved, you're a Jesus follower. So you don't just live by your natural talent, you got the gifts of the spirit along with your natural talent, and the combination of them both will make you a bad somebody. You do not just live by natural talent. In fact, Pastor, what's the difference between a natural talent and a spiritual gift? What's the difference between a natural talent and a spiritual gift? A natural talent is an ability you were born with or developed over time. A spiritual gift is an ability the Holy Spirit empowers and uses to help people and glorify God. A natural talent is an ability you were born with or developed over time. A spiritual gift is an ability the Holy Spirit empowers you with, uses you to help people and to glorify God. In other words, what Holy Spirit does, men heel, is Holy Spirit will take your natural and breathe his super on it so you can walk in some supernatural power while you're here in the earth. Let me say it again for the people in the back. You give Holy Spirit your natural, He's gonna He gonna breathe His super on it, and He's gonna take a natural talent and breathe so it becomes a supernatural gift that can impact people in this life. Somebody say Amen in this place. So I want you to see the supernatural, which means I want you walking in your spiritual gifts. Now, 1 Corinthians chapter 12, Paul gives us nine gifts of the Spirit. Come on, man, here God gives us nine gifts of the Spirit. Now, now these are not the only gifts of the Spirit. In fact, in in growth track step two, we walk you through all the gifts of the Spirit. We walk you through various gifts of the Spirit. But just for today's message, I'm just gonna look at the nine that Paul gives in this particular passage. What are the nine gifts of the spirit? Well, we have uh word of wisdom. What is the word of wisdom? Word of wisdom is supernatural insight about what to do in a situation. Sometimes the Holy Spirit will give you a strategy that you can't read in a book, that you can't get from a course, that you can't get in the classroom. Sometimes the Holy Spirit will give you a word of wisdom and you will have a solution for a problem you didn't know how to solve. Uh uh, he gave you a word of knowledge. A word of knowledge is supernatural awareness of something you could not naturally know. By the way, every Sunday and every time I preach, I ask Holy Spirit to give me a word of knowledge. That's why some of you come to me, you say, Pastor, you was in my journal. Pastor, how'd you know I was reading that passage? Pastor, how'd you know to use that analogy? You knew I was used somebody's a how why you bring up Chick-fil-A. You should have you knew that Chick-fil-A was no, it's not what it was. Before I got up here, I prayed for a word of knowledge, and Holy Spirit will talk to me. And sometimes I don't even know what I said, but you know what I said, and he knows what I said because you and him are having the conversation. I'm just here, just being the vessel he using at the time. There's a gift of faith, unusual spirit-giving confidence that God's about to move. Stop making fun of everybody who's optimistic. Sometimes, sometimes that's somebody's gift. I got the gift of faith. I ain't negative like you, I don't see everything falling apart like you do. I have a tendency to see God in every situation and circumstance. They may have the gift of faith, but then there's the gifts of healing, okay? That is God working through someone to bring physical, emotional, or spiritual healing. This is why at times we will have a service where we will lay hands on the sick. Why are you laying hands on the sick? It's not nothing about my hand, it is the gift of the Holy Spirit. We'll often use a person that as you lay hands on the sick, the sick shall recover. It is not your hand, it is the Holy Spirit using you as a vessel, and you can see healing happen in that moment. There's working of miracles, supernatural acts that cannot be explained by normal human ability or natural processes. I don't know how I got through that. I don't know how I escaped that. I don't know how I did that so fast. I don't know how that took place for me. Man, that was accelerated. That was a miracle that took place by way of Holy Spirit. There is uh the gift of prophecy, okay? Speaking a message from God that strengthens, encourages, comforts, or sometimes gives direction. There is discerning of spirits, spiritual discernment to recognize whether something is from God, from human flesh, or from an evil spirit. I'm married, thank God I'm married, but I'm just trying to tell you if I was single, I would not be dating without the discernment spirit. This is not a day to not have the Holy Spirit giving you the gift of discernment heal because people are faking too well today. We we fake too good. I was thinking about BBLs. BBLs came to my mind. I'm gonna tell you why came to my mind. Y'all nasty. That's not why it came to my mind. I'm just saying something fake that look real. And there's emotional BBLs and mental BBLs and financial BBLs. It looked like it's something until I get over there and I realize that you bought that in Brazil. Spiritual BBL. Oh, y'all get me in trouble. They're gonna talk about spiritual BBLs everyone here. There are different kinds of tongues speaking in a spirit-empowered language, not learned naturally. This can be part of personal prayer or in a gathered church setting, a message that needs interpretation. Okay, so so at Union Church, do y'all believe in speaking in tongues? Yes, we do believe in speaking in tongues. Uh, we we we we actually uh if you don't if you want to know more about what speaking in tongues is, we talk about it in our freedom groups. Uh and we also get we we've baptized many people and with the gift of tongues or baptizing in the Holy Spirit uh with the evidence of speaking in tongues during our freedom conference. We do that uh uh uh twice a year, and and so we believe it, Pastor. How come I don't I don't hear you speaking in tongues uh uh uh from stage on Sunday? It's because of this other gift called interpretation of tongues. Interpretation of tongues is the spirit giving the meaning of a message spoken in tongues so the church can understand and be strengthened. Tongues is you praying, is you using a secret language that that you or the enemy don't understand because Holy Spirit is communicating on behalf between you and God. I speak in tongues every day, I spend time in prayer speaking in tongues. How come I don't stand up here on a Sunday and don't speak in tongues? Because if I was to speak in tongues here, you wouldn't know what I'm saying. And so the Bible says, why speak in tongues in a room where it cannot edify anybody? In fact, if somebody did speak in tongues and a service, there's supposed to be somebody to give the interpretation of that tongue and what it means. So stop saying the church ain't deep because we don't speak in tongues. That ain't what it is. Just because I'm not speaking in tongues on Sunday all day doesn't mean that we don't do that, we do that every day. The idea is that there's supposed to be order because if everybody starts speaking in tongues, it's gonna be chaos. But order says one person speaks, there's gotta be an interpretation, and unless there's an interpretation, keep your mouth shut because what you're saying is just gibberish to everybody else. I just want to get that off my chest. All right, non-gifts of the spirit. Man, y'all rolling with me, hear me. All right, the purpose of the gifts. What is the purpose of the gifts? The purpose of the gifts is to help people and to glorify God. Please write that down because I gotta talk to my church people, my deep people, my my spiritual folk. The purpose of the gifts is to help people and to bring glory to God. The gifts are not to make your name great, the gifts are not to make you famous, the gifts are not to blow you up, the gifts are not to get you on every stage in America, the gifts are not to make you a New York time bestseller, the gift is not for you to be seen in your podcast, and you went viral. The gift is not for your e-course, the gift is not so that you can teach us the three ways that you can operate in the gift that you have. The gifts are to help people and to glorify God, and you are prostituting God's gift when you make it for anything else but that. This ain't about you because some of you you you need a title. Just because you know how to prophesy, you need a title. You gotta go call me, uh call me prophet, call me evangelist. We can barely talk to you because if we don't call you by your gift, you you acting like you went in the lab and made the gift yourself. When the Bible says that the gift came from the spirit, yeah. In other words, here's what he says: first Corinthians chapter 12, verse 11. He says, All these are the work of one and the same spirit. And watch this, he distributes them to each one as he determines, yeah. So that nobody here is supposed to be more special than the other person. We all got the same Holy Spirit, and he will give, he gives the gift. The gift is not so you can become a jerk. Yeah, can't nobody talk to you. You so so Holy Spirit used you to heal a person who was in a wheelchair, and you laid hands and they got up from the wheelchair, and now we can't even shake that hand. This hand is do you understand what miracles have come through? This hand. Oh no, touch not thine anointed. Put your hand down, put your hand down. Ain't nothing about your hand, that was Holy Spirit. So because God used you, Holy Spirit used you for something, you done made it go to your head, and now you you you you you can barely go to church unless they got the three chairs on the center, because you want to sit in a center chair like a king and lord your gift over everybody else. Hear me. I'm not a pastor because I'm better than you, I'm a pastor because of God, the gift God gave me. This is the one I'm in the position he gave me. This is the gift he gave me. It ain't more important than the gift he gave you, it's different, but not more important. So cut it out, Pastor. Do you prophesy? Yeah, when the Holy Spirit lets me. Pastor, do you do you do you lay hands? Yeah, when the Holy Spirit lets me. Pastor, do you work miracles? Yeah, when the Holy Spirit lets me. Here's what I love about Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is so cold-blooded, he'll give you what you need when you need it. You may have a primary gift that you use, but the truth is you have access to all nine gifts. You don't always need all nine gifts, but in the season, you need one of the gifts. All you got to do is say, Holy Spirit, give me that gift, and he'll show up and give you that gift. Stop saying, Well, I'm not a, I'm not a I'm not a I'm not a prophet. You don't you don't need to be a prophet. If you ever have to prophesy to anybody in your life, you just say, Holy Spirit, can you use me in this moment? Because you will be sitting in a store, and the Holy Spirit will say, Can you go to that woman over there? I need you to give her a message. And you'll be sitting there saying, But I'm not a prophet, I'm not an evangelist, I'm not a he said, go over there, give a message. And you sitting over there, walk to that person and say, Hey, I don't know who you are, but the Lord told me to tell you that your mother was gonna be okay. And then tears start falling from that eye. Who told you my mother was in the hospital? Nobody told me. Holy Spirit gave me a word of wisdom, he gave me a word of knowledge about your life. You you ever you ever you ever seen? I got young people here. You you ever seen Pip My Ride?

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It was back in the day. You ever seen Pimp my ride? Pip my ride was was you give me an old beat up car, and then let me refurbish it. Let me throw some wheels on that bad boy. Let me put some spinners on that thing, and by the time it's done, everybody's gonna want that car. That's what the Holy Spirit does. He pimped that ride. Holy Spirit takes the old, beat up, dusty you, he breathes on you, refurbishes you, put those gifts on the inside, and now all of a sudden you look like something somebody wanna drive. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. I love the Holy Spirit. Okay, okay. Here are here are three things you need to know about the gifts of the Spirit. I want you to write this down, manhill. Uh, number one, the Holy Spirit has a gift for you. For you. The Holy Spirit has a gift for you. If you are a believer in Christ, I don't care about your age or your stage. The Holy Spirit has given you a gift. There are no giftless Christians. There shouldn't be anybody here saying, I ain't got nothing. God didn't give me a thing, that is a lie. You have the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit has entrusted every believer with a gift. There are some of you in this room, you have the gift of faith, you have the ability to encourage believers. Some of you, you you got a natural talent. I'll give you an example. Some of you can sing. Where are my singers at? Raise your hand if you can sing. Raise your hand if you can sing. Raise your hand if you can sing. Raise your hand if you can sing. Can somebody take a picture of all these people? Because they're not on a worship team. Many heel, many heel, raise your hand if you can sing. Justin, take a picture of every person to raise their hand and find out why they're not on a worship team now. Pete, you sing? You see? You sing? You shout? You yell. Does he sing? He don't sing? I know, but his hand was raised high. Yeah, yeah. He said, make a joyful noise until the Lord. Oh, yeah, laugh. Some of you can sing, and you can sing. There's some of you can sing, you'll be singing a song, whatever. But then some of you you've experienced this, singers you experience this. I can use you for this. When you sing, you can be singing, and all of a sudden people start breaking out in tears. You'll be singing, and all of a sudden the spirit of healing breaks in the room. What was that? That was the Holy Spirit taking your natural talent and turning it into that gift, and that gift began to bring healing to people's lives. I have seen cooks. Some of you, some of you don't just cook, you you minister. If you can, I'll show you when when the Holy Spirit's on it. When you take something basic, you just made something basic. You made just some rice with a little tomatoes on it. You just, you just, but when you make something that is basic to everybody else, and when you eat it, the joy of the Lord becomes your strength. What is that? That is, that is, that is, that is, man, Holy Spirit got a gift. I I've had people come to my closet and and and redesign my closet. And it was like they were doing ministry. It was like the order that they brought to the closet, it brought peace to my mind, peace to the house. How did how is it just organized? In the closet, brought peace everywhere else. Because that was not just no talent, that was a supernatural gift of the Holy Spirit that God gave you. And you gotta recognize that you have a gift. You know what I've learned, Menhill? I've learned, I've learned that we are quick to admire the gift in other people and ignore the gift that God has given us. I mean, we see everybody else's gift so fast. Look at that gift, look at that. We can identify other people's gift so easy, and we can break it down and be mesmerized by it. But your own gift, you'll ignore it. Uh uh my pastor, I got one pastor. My pastor, Pastor Stephen Chandler. Uh, he is the one who speaks into my life. Uh, he is the spiritual authority of my life, and uh, and so I rock with one pastor. I got Stephen Chandler, and that's my pastor. But but I I listen uh to multiple preachers, I listen to different preachers. And one of my one of my one of my favorite preachers is is a is a preacher named Robert Madou. Robert Madou. If you've never heard Robert Madou, uh just just go online. Look at some is just uh no one makes me uh feel so insecure as a preacher than when I listened to Robert Madou. Stephanie, that was a loud laugh. Like it was like, oh, I can see that. I can see why it does that to you. That was great. Okay, Steph, I got you. And uh, because that was from your belly, it was from your belly, it wasn't our normal laugh. And uh, and uh, I mean, I I and I mean he he he can he tell stories, he's revelatory, uh, he's just so super polished. And so when I met him, we we we built a relationship, I said to Robert, I said, Robert, man, I said, hey man, I said, dude, man, your preaching gift is so crazy, man. I said, man, if I could, if I could preach like that, man, you know what I would do? If I could preach like that. And I'm gonna tell you what Robert said, man. Robert sitting looking at me, he said, man, but Buck, I can't sing, man. He said, every time I hear you sing, I want to throw something at you. Every time I hear you sing, I go to God and I say, God, how come you couldn't give me a singing? Do you know what I would be if I could sing? And I say, Do you know what I would be if I could preach like that and I got a gift that he looking at, he got a gift that I'm looking at. We both need to look at our own gift and say, look what God has given to us. How many times are you looking at somebody else's gift and listen to gift that you got for yourself? Somebody wants your gift. Somebody wish they could sing like you. That that that you have a gift. Hear me, here, and let me say this because this is church, so I gotta say this. Here's what we've done in the church. Here's what we've done in the church. We've done a disservice because in the church we only exalt or acknowledge stage gifts. So so so so every platform gift is special, every platform gift is anointed. If you got a platform gift, somehow you're like a God to us, which is an idol. Come on now. But but I've learned that some gifts are on stage, but then there's some gifts at the door. There are some gifts in the parking lot, there are some gifts in the prayer room, and don't you dare minimize your gift because it don't have a camera in front of it. Wherever God puts you, He got heaven's camera on you, and you just need to work and do what you do because God knows what He's doing through you. I'm preaching this because there are too many of you men here. You are living ordinary, like God didn't put something extraordinary on the inside of you. Come on now. You you stop walking around here like you ain't got nothing, you are extraordinary. God put something great on the inside of you. You stop looking so mundane and just just so so laise fast. No, wake up. There's a gift brewing, and let me give you some scripture so people don't accuse me of being a motivational speaker. Psalm chapter 139, verse 13 through 14. It says, For you formed my inward parts. You knitted me together in my mother's womb. Watch this, I will praise you, for I am what fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works, and my soul, my soul, my soul knows it very well. There's something in me that knows I'm too gifted for this. Something in me knows there's more to me than what I see. Now, here's what we gotta be careful the fact that God gifted you does not mean he gifted you so your life could be all about you. Here's my second point right down in the hill. Uh the gift is not just for you. The gift is not just for you. Most of us use our gift like a mirror, not a ministry. You like to stare at your own gift and just see how pretty it is and see how good it looks. You're the only one to see your gift. You use your gift as a mirror. It's a ministry. You're not supposed to stare at it, you're supposed to share it. You you you're supposed to you're supposed to share. It was designed not just for you to enjoy. No, it was designed for you to help somebody else. And by the way, that is the joy of life. The joy of life is for you to refresh others, to bless others, to bring joy to others. I know every podcast that I told y'all, because of whatever's going on in this generation, these influences, Christian influences told you, well, you know, serving is like slavery. They just want you to slay. That's so stupid. It's so ridiculous. It's a trick of the enemy to make you not serve, to tell you that brunch in mimosa is gonna give you more peace on a Sunday than being in church serving. And I'm not against brunch, I'm against mimosa, but I'm not getting against brunch. But don't tell me that chicken and waffles is supposed to give you a peace that serving does not give you. That is a lie from hell. There is something that God has wired in you that as you give to others, as you serve to others, as you sacrifice for others, there is a joy that brews on the inside of you. That I'm sorry, you getting some uh a sandwich in the middle of a day don't produce. I'm not advocating you not having a life, I'm not advocating you giving everything you got to the church. I am advocating that you prioritize serving and stop treating it like it's nothing. When I'm telling you the joy of life is given to others. My pastor says this. Here's what my pastor said. Because some of you in this room, part of the reason why your life is so dry, because you don't do nothing for nobody. And my pastor says it this way my pastor says this. He said, if you ever get to your finish line and there's no one cheering for you, it's because you never cheer for nobody else at their finish line. And some of us are gonna get to a finish line and realizing we were doing all this running, and we never help nobody else, never refresh nobody else. And so you know you don't get celebrated because you don't celebrate nobody. Nobody shows up for you because you don't show up for nobody, nobody's giving to you because you don't give to nobody. And I am telling you, there's a power in sharing your gift. Uh uh, many hill, my my my mother-in-law, uh, she lives with us now. She moved in uh a few months ago, and so my mother-in-law, she's 75, and so she just comes from a different generation, and uh and so we see things a little differently sometimes. And uh I'm the type of person that if I buy six donuts and I eat four, we eat four as a family, when I get to the end of the day, and there are two donuts still sitting there, I throw them away. No one's eating them. No one's gonna eat them. What am I supposed to do with them? What? Eat them tomorrow. I'm just saying, well, first of all, I don't know how many donuts still are good the next day. What kind of donuts are y'all buying? Oh, y'all buy Krispy Kreams. I don't buy Krispy Kreme donuts. That ain't a donut, that's chemicals, that's why it lasts so long. The donuts I buy, they actually go stale by the end of the day. If I order a box of pizza and we only eat five slices, if there are three slices left, we will we will put it in the fridge. But if I get to the next day and nobody touching the pizza, I throw it away. That's why you can't sing. That's your problem right there. That's your that's your problem. I knew you couldn't sing when she said it.

SPEAKER_00

If we make a uh a pot of rice, no man, hear me out, man, hear me out.

SPEAKER_01

And he said, get to the point. No, hear me out, hear me out, hear me out, hear me out. If there's a pot of rice, how long the rice, how long we just keep rice? Two days? A day and a half? Two days. What just two days? Three days, two to three. Wow, two to three. Okay. I am telling you, my my my mother-in-law, 75, it could be two to three days. If she sees me physically throwing rice in the trash, I mean her heart. Praise. I mean, I I think it's hurt, it's it's hurt our relationship. I actually think that it's hurt our ministry because I know she's looking at me preaching. She'll say to me, and you're a preacher. I look at you wasting preacher. And I be want to say, don't I pay your bills? Anyway, I was like, I'll be like, I pay your bills. What are you talking about? I pay your bills, though. I know it's petty, it's messed up. She's not here, that's why I'm saying all that stuff. Many hill, stop laughing. So, so, so if she sees me throwing away donors and her, I mean her heart gets crushed. You should have called, we could have called neighbors. Didn't you guys have a student ministry? You could have brought it down to the staff. You you could have had there's thousands of people who are hungry in this nation. You could have gone down to the she wouldn't list all the things I could have done because with her to see me throwing a food for her eyes to see food thrown in the trash, it breaks her heart. And I guess it's supposed to break mine too, I guess. You want me to get to my point? Here's my point. I think you break the Holy Spirit's heart when he sees you not using a gift that he gave you. So you're not gonna share it with nobody? You're not gonna help nobody, you you're not gonna do nothing for nobody. So so all you want Holy Spirit for is a shout and a dance and a run. That's it. That's it. That's it. So so all you want me for is to get you to to shout in church. And it's so crazy that that that we don't even think we had church until we shouted. We we will almost say, well, the Holy Spirit wasn't there because did nobody fall out and did nobody scream and didn't nobody cry. That is not an evidence that the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is saying, Hey, I'm bigger than that, I am bigger than a shout. I am bigger. What I'm really here to do is to activate the gift of prophecy in your life so that you can help somebody. See, you want to come up here on Sunday so I can prophesy to you, but we'll really be a church when you on a Tuesday, when you gotta prophesy to your own family and say, I speak to that spirit of suicide in your life, and I say, Baby girl, you're gonna live, you're not gonna die. Baby girl, prophesy your future. That's when we really will see the Holy Spirit. It ain't just me up here when you got to lay hands in your child, in your when you can go to the hospital and they say, Pray. We need somebody to pray for mama, we need somebody to pray for auntie. Oh, let me call union, let me see if union can get up. No, I'm trying to get you to get activated with the Holy Spirit to say, I don't usually do this, but Holy Spirit, you know, pin my rod. Holy Spirit, let me go in there, let me pray for Auntie and use me. This is bigger than you shouting. This is bigger than you dancing. I'm not against the shouting, I'm not against a dance. I'm against this idea that you have Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost was in the room because you fell down. Let me tell you something. You you was nasty when you fell, and you still nasty when you got up. That ain't it. It is I walked in here and got awakened. I walked in here and got activated. I'm starting to see the word of knowledge in my life, I'm starting to see the word of wisdom in my life. I'm starting to see the gift of faith become active in me. I used to doubt all the time, I used to be worried all the time, but now the gift of faith done kicked in, and I can see at brighter days, weeping being door for at night. But joy is about to come in the morning because the gift of faith has come alive in me. Here's what the Bible says. 1 Peter chapter 4, verse 10. 1 Peter chapter 4, verse 10 says, Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to do what? Serve others. As faithful stewards of God's grace in his various forms. The encourager help somebody not quit. The leader brings order to chaos. The teacher helps somebody understand the scripture. The prayer warrior understands in the game. The servant makes room for somebody to encounter Jesus. The creator creates an atmosphere that helps people see God differently. The business-minded person can build resources that can find the kingdom work. The person with a redeemed story can help somebody believe they are not too far gone from God. So if God gave you something, and it's not just for you, then you cannot free your gift like it's my life. Oh my life was right in there. Don't say, Oh my God, put in. Don't say Oh my God, putting me. Don't say, Oh my God, put in Second Timothy chapter 1, verse 6 says this. For this reason, I remind you, watch this. The fan and the flame. The gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. It's 4th of July coming up, and I'ma cook out. I'm a grill. I'm gonna grill me some stuff. And uh and uh I believe in charcoal grill. I don't believe in propane tanks, gasoline grill, thank God for y'all, but I can go in the kitchen for that. I I came outside for some charcoal. And uh so I put the charcoal inside the grill, and uh, and then and then I'm old school, you know. I roll up the paper, I get some newspaper somewhere. We don't have newspaper, I find newspaper. I keep old newspaper just to put in the grill. That's the only purpose. And uh put it in the grill, and then you light the match and you put it on the paper, and you're hoping that the coal catches fire. And uh, if you don't see the coal catching fire, I get some of that fluid, that, that, that, that, uh, gasoline fluid, and uh, and I throw it on there, and then the fire come up and all that stuff, and then and then the gasoline, and then and then, and then, and then between the wind and the fluid, I'm watching the coal catch fire. That's my assignment today. That's what I'm hoping. I'm hoping that I can fan the flame on your gift, that I can get you to catch fire, that I can get you to wake up and say, I'm too gifted to be living this small. Wait a minute. I'm too gifted to be this depressed. Hold on a second. I'm too gifted to not be where I'm supposed to be. I'm too gifted, can I say this, to be too broke to be? I'm too broke, I'm too gifted to be this low down here. I'm too gifted to be settled down here, I'm too gifted to live this low. I need to come up a little bit higher. I came to fan the flame, I came to stir up the spirit, I came to get you reactivated, that the gift God put on the inside of you. It is now time for you to use that gift. And I declare you in church over your life that you're about to walk into a new season, that this summer is gonna be like a bridge, that you are going from one season to another season. That when you get to September, you're gonna look at your life and things will be lined up differently. The next summer months are a transition month for you. You are leaving up for your life, you're walking into a new path. God got something new for you. God's got a destiny for you. God's got something for your life. Your gift will not die here. Your gift will not be perfect. All of those who've been in the back, God's about to bring you to the front. All of those who've been down low, God's about to lift you higher. All those who've been in the dark, welcome to the light. All those who've been on the floor, welcome to the stage. I wish I had somebody in this room and been here to say, God, I want my gifts. I got three questions for you. Write them down. What has God put in you that you've been sitting on? What burden has he put on your heart? And then what needs, what need keeps bothering you because maybe you are supposed to be the answer for what is God put in you that you've been sitting on? What burden has you put in your heart? What need keeps bothering you because maybe you're supposed to be the answer. Let me pray for you, man. Father, in the name of Jesus. I pray for every person in this room. Come on, say, Holy Spirit, speak to me. Your servant is listening. Father, I pray that you would begin to speak to your people. I pray that everyone on the sound of my voice would leave here walking in a greater authority with the gift that you've given them. I pray against the spirit of confusion. I pray against the spirit of uh of not just this lack of vision. I pray, God, that you would give us vision on how to use our gift, how to operate our gift, that wherever we are, whether we drive an Uber, whether we FedEx, whether we work in a bank, God, I pray every gift will be activated. That whether we do hair, whether we do nails, every gift activated. That God, whether we are a teacher, whether we are principal, whatever we're applying for, every gift activated. Whether you are an accountant or a lawyer or a doctor, every gift activated, whether you're serving on a team or feeding your kids in the morning, every gift activated. And if you're in this room, if you're in heel and you can hear my voice, you don't know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. That's the first gift you got to receive is the gift of salvation. The gift of salvation means that I've surrendered my heart and my life to God, that I ain't playing church, but that I really surrendered my life to Jesus, that I believe that he came, that he lived, that he died, that he rose again, and that he's returning back to receive me in eternity. If you are here, you're not sure that you committed your life to Christ, today I want you to leave here and be assured. And you can do so by praying this prayer. Come on, everybody. Let's pray it together. Say, Father, thank you for loving me. Thank you for sending your son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to die for me. Today, I surrender and receive the gift of salvation. Come into my heart, save me now. I believe Jesus lived, Jesus died, Jesus rose again, Jesus will return. Today I am saved, I am yours, and you are mine. In Jesus' name we pray. Come on, man, heal everybody shout, Amen, in this place.
