The Lord lovingly reveals who you are and what you were born to be. For your life has meaning. Your soul carries purpose. Your gifts were not placed within you by accident. There is something the good Lord has called you to do. Something only you can bring forth in the way He has shaped you to bring it forth. But beloved, you must become still enough to hear. Still enough to listen. Still enough to know. For in the stillness, God speaks. Now, beloved one, place your hand gently over your heart. Take a slow, deep breath and say these sacred decrees with me. I am still and quiet in the sacred temple within me. I await the still small voice of God. I am open, listening, and ready to obey. Thank you, Father, for hearing me. For I know thou hearest me always. In the name and nature of Jesus Christ, I pray. Commune with your own heart upon your bed and be still. Commune with your own heart upon your bed and be still. Commune with your own heart upon your bed and be still. In the stillness, the soul begins to hear what the ears cannot. In the stillness, the good Lord whispers to your heart who you are and what you were born to be. In the stillness, the love, wisdom, and power of Almighty God rises within you. Oh beloved one. There comes a time in every life when the soul longs to get away from the noise of the world and rest in the presence of God. Away from the constant chatter of voices, the loud, blaring music that pounds against the ears, the endless stream of news and information. So much sound, so much movement, so much calling for your attention that your true voice is being drowned out. Yet beneath it all, there is a holy invitation, a sacred place where the longing of your soul can be satisfied like nowhere else on earth. It is a call to become still, a call to return to the silence, a call to listen for the gentle voice of God within your own soul. The psalmist understood this sacred truth. There is a place within the soul where the noise of the world grows quiet, where the heart becomes still, and where the gentle voice of God can finally be heard. Today you are being called by the good Lord to turn your attention away from the constant noise of the outer world. Turn toward the quiet sanctuary within your own soul. For it is there in the stillness that you begin to recognize his holy presence. The great I am, the light that lighteth every man that cometh into the world. That you turn your eyes upon beloved Jesus the Christ, and his gentle voice becomes clear, and in that sacred stillness, you remember that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You remember that you have been crowned with glory and honor, and made a little lower than the angels. You praise God from whom all blessings flow. And as you rest in his holy presence, remember that you are never alone. The good Lord in his infinite love has surrounded you with his holy angels. They are the emissaries of God, ministering spirits sent forth in love to comfort you, to strengthen you, to guide you, to encourage you, to protect you, and to walk beside you as you fulfill the divine purpose God has prepared for your life. Give thanks to the Father for his loving care. Give thanks for the unseen hosts of heaven who faithfully serve according to his perfect will. Give thanks that the love of Almighty God surrounds you always. Commune with your own heart upon your bed and be still. Commune with your own heart upon your bed and be still.
