Okay. Hi Vini.
SPEAKER_00Good afternoon. How are you doing today?
SPEAKER_01Good afternoon, Liyama. As you said, exceptionally well. So even I am doing exceptionally well. And it's great to see you back. Like we had one section previously. This is our second time together. Yes. And it is equally good, like equally exciting. And I'm sure it is going to be exciting.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, of course, of course. When we two are here, of course, it is going to be exciting. This is cold self-motivation, right?
SPEAKER_01Absolutely. Absolutely. And this is not bragging, this is just self-motivation. Exactly, exactly.
SPEAKER_00I always say one uh line that uh okay, for people it might be uh overconfidence or as you just mentioned, self-bragging, but for us it's self-assurance, yes, it's self-assurance, and it's kind of motivating.
SPEAKER_01See, you cannot expect others to praise you in the way you deserve, right? At least you can do for yourself to motivate yourself and pay for yourself, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Actually, right. Okay, so it started so nicely and beautifully, right? Just like that. Okay, so tell me how's your day going on so far?
SPEAKER_01So far, it's been good. I can't say uh I am doing like if I talk about my health, it's little bit not at its best, but yeah, okay. Plus, just before our session, it's it started raining raining cats and dogs. So I'm just I was thinking whether I'll be able to uh continue with the session or not, but by God's grace, I'm here and I'm sure it is going to go well.
SPEAKER_00Okay, so yes, it also uh started raining here, but not cats and dog, it's just uh I would say drizzling drizzling, yes, drizzling. So I was also skeptical about my Wi-Fi and uh connectivity because you never know, right? Sometimes things are not in your hands, so I was also uh being hopeful towards our session that it should go well. So let's hope for the best. Uh and let's get started.
SPEAKER_01I'm so sorry, I forgot to ask.
SPEAKER_00No, that's not a big issue. I mean, I told you it's part of my life. I'm allergic to certain things, weather fluctuation or those dust particles. So uh sneezing is a part of my life, integral part of my life. So I can sneeze anytime. So yes, then I avoid having sessions or conducting sessions because I don't want to, you know, pick my um tissue or napkin in my hand and taking care of my runino, so better not to conduct any session. So that's the thing, right? And yes, when you when actually uh yesterday it was uh raining heavily here, also it was kind of bucketing down, it was so dark and gloomy. I was sneezing continuously, and I was not feeling like going for any session, though I truly wanted to be a part of that very session, but better luck next time. Okay, so I uh want you to introduce yourself to my audience so that they can know you. You know what? First of all, let me tell you one thing. I love your vibrant and radiant smile, I just love it. So when you smile, it gives that uh positivity, and I feel I feel so enthusiastic uh to see you. So truly stay blessed and keep smiling.
SPEAKER_01I just need your blessings to keep going like this, and uh, thank you so much, ma'am. It really means a lot, and I I know you are saying this all right from the core of your heart. I know that.
SPEAKER_00Right, you can feel the vibe, yes, absolutely.
SPEAKER_01Thank you so much for that, and now I would like to introduce myself without further ado. So, um, my name is Vinny, Vinita. In short, it is Vinny, and my students they fondly call me Dia Ma'am. That is how my channel's name is English with Vinny and Dia. I hail from a very small, beautiful, peaceful town of Madhya Pradesh. It is located on the bank of River Narmada, and it is named as Narmadapuram. Academically, I'm CA finalist, that is Chartered Accountancy. CS professional, that is company secretary, master's in economics. Additionally, I hold certification in public speaking. Professionally, I'm a communication and soft skill trainer. It's been 10 years I have been into teaching. I started back in the year 2014-2014. And if I talk about my communication journey, communication trainer's journey, it started back in COVID. So it's been five years I have been into communication training. Other than that, if I talk about my student category, I have trained, I have been uh privileged to train students right from kindergarten till senior citizens, right from chartered accountants till doctors to IT professionals to army people and whatnot. So it has been one fulfilling journey so far. Additionally, I'm a budding YouTuber, content creator. I have my channel, and most of my time goes in planning content and scripting and editing, you can understand it better. I am a travel enthusiast, I love traveling. That is my escape from the ordinary, and I am an art enthusiast. I love all kinds of art, so that is one thing. I am into yoga, meditation, dance, and I love being in nature. That gives me a joy that is that cannot be explained. So, this is all about me.
SPEAKER_00Wow, so many feathers in your cap. What to count and where to count from? I mean, lovely. Yeah, lovely. I would say I'm still learning. Wow, just amazing. That's amazing, and it clearly reflects on your face, you have that inquisitive mind. I would say you uh love learning and you don't uh want to leave any stone unturned. That's how you are growing and growing in not only in your personal life, but I think in your professional life as well. Okay, since you uh have dealt with or you are have been dealing with people from diverse walks of life, right? In terms of training them. So I just want to know the experience, which sort of experience or journey it has been, and um one piece of advice for uh our learners.
SPEAKER_01So ma'am, of course, uh there is one thing that I would if I just sum up this entire journey of teaching and training, I would say I'm still a learner, and I'll always consider myself as a learner, no matter the student belongs to a beginner's uh category or maybe intermediate or even advanced learners we get. So I have been a learner throughout, along with the trainer. Why? Because as I mentioned, I have been in touch with senior citizens as well. So I have never expected from myself that I'll be able to teach them a lot of skills. I know I'll be doing my part, but alongside I'm going to learn a lot from them. That today I was about to join session with Nehaman. I had in mind, I'm definitely going to learn a lot from her. So that is how my approach is towards dealing with things. Whenever I join with anyone, so as you mentioned, it is the perfect word that describes me inquisitive. That is how I am. So I'm always inquisitive, always want to know more, always want to learn more. And that is that has been my entire journey. Starting from scratch, learning with each passing day from people's experiences, from their journey, and from their failures as well. Like what didn't work for them, what worked for them, and how I can proceed, because I don't have a background, support that kind of background where uh teachings and trainings are maybe prevailing. Right. This was all I had, like my students and me, and I had to learn from them, and they had to learn from me. It was all mutual. Now, if I talk about one piece of advice that I would like to give is um, there is always one thing in learners' mind, especially at the beginner's level, that is I just want to be perfect in this language. And as we discussed, don't always chase that perfection and stress yourself. Don't stress yourself. It is an it is a journey, right? With each passing day, just compete with yourself what I was yesterday. Am I better than this? That today did I learn something? So if you will keep on thinking about that girl is speaking perfectly or near ma'am is speaking perfectly, why am I not able to speak? Okay, she is a motivation, but I cannot stress myself up thinking about her. Right? So don't stress yourself up, learn every day, speak every day. Don't be just uh don't have one-sided approach. That means I just want to go with grammar and I'll be fluent, I just want to go with speaking and I'll be perfect. No, you have to take the wholesome approach in all the directions, so be very focused, allocate good time, whatever is convenient for you, and have that 360-degree approach. That is one suggestion I would like to give to beginners and don't stress yourself, don't think in three months I'm going to be fluent, in six months I'm going to be fluent. It may take one year, two years, five years, and uh yes, there is no time limit. There is no time.
SPEAKER_00Well, I mean how beautifully you explained. I was uh it was something else. I mean, you spoke my mind, my heart, everything. This is what I genuinely want to tell each and everyone because uh beginners or anyone who starts learning this uh language, uh, people come with certain preconceived notions about this language, certain myths about grammar, right? And fluency. Okay, so if you're going to run behind fluency and you don't want to work hard because the story begins and ends on this word, okay, you need to work hard. See, it's not about dreaming or wishing. I tell one thing or I say one thing that life doesn't reward the wishes, it rewards the action. Action. So if you are just dreaming about something and you are not taking that required action, you are on a, I mean, you are in uh some imaginative world, right? So it is said vision without action is a nightmare.
SPEAKER_01It is a nightmare, it's just a nightmare, yes, right?
SPEAKER_00So if you come with uh certain hopes or certain wishes in your mind, but you are not working for uh those things, you are not taking required action, you will be uh you will end up um making excuses or blaming people or circumstances, right? This is my personal experience. So, again, Rome wasn't built in a day. There's no magic, okay. No one can train you in uh 15 days or 20 days or one month or two months. Uh, people or your trainer can show you a path. Now it's up to you whether you crawl, you run, you fly, or you jump. It depends on you, right? That's what I always say. Second thing again, when we start comparing ourselves with other people, it's like we are killing our uh creativity, we are killing our disease. Kill yourself, yes, right? Because it is not a race, it's not any competition. Okay, just just think about yourself where you started from and now where you have reached. Okay, so if you are able to do a bit better from yesterday, just pat your back. Appreciate that rather than uh comparing yourself with other people, right? So that is the simple uh but I guess pragmatic uh approach or strategy, we can say, okay. Now, um, as we deal with a lot of people, right, and most of the time, apart from teaching, it's about motivating them. But sometimes when you do the same thing again and again, it's like we we get uh stuck in a rut. There is a kind of feeling that we are repeating, or the routine is quite monotonous, okay? So whom do you look up to to get that dose of motivation? Or who is your go-to person or what is your go-to thing to boost yourself?
SPEAKER_01Uh, to be very frank, honest, authentic, I don't have any such person. It's just me versus myself, and me and myself, no one else. Why see it's been a long journey doing the same thing every day, having the same learners, and uh we eventually become family, you know that, right? But yeah, for them and for us, sometimes it may become monotonous. But to be honest, if I ever feel like that, I don't feel it may sound as too much of being boastful. I'm not boasting, but I never feel like that. Why? Because I just think about my past, the kind of maybe hard days I had to reach here, and when I think about those days, I think, okay, these are the days maybe I uh had that longing for, I desired for, I prayed for, and now I cannot take it for granted. And since now I'm here, it is there with me. I just want to motivate myself to do better, and this is my passion. Like I started teaching out of passion, it transitioned into profession, and I actually left my field. As I mentioned, I am from Chartered Ganty, so I left it to follow my passion. So now there is no looking back, I just motivate myself like that, that I have left something for this for my passion. And yesterday, only one learner was telling me, I said, Why? He said, You are uh since he might have watched my YouTube channel and he might have seen that these days I'm coming in touch with a lot of people, interacting, being very happy. So he said, You are doing something that you're passionate about, you are enjoying it simultaneously. It is your work as well. For us, it is like our work is being CA and uh surrounded with files, and our passion is singing, and it's entirely different. But for you, your passion and profession is the same, and you're thoroughly enjoying it. So that is my motivation, ma'am. No one else, there is no person with whom I can really talk about my struggles or something. It's just me versus myself and me and myself.
SPEAKER_00Loved lovely. I think that is the best thing because you are not relying on anyone, it's all about your intrinsic motivation, right? You don't look up to people, you just explore yourself, you into uh introspect, and you are good to go. So that's wonderful. Even um, I can relate with you because that's what exactly I do. Yes, I love uh listening to music, I am a melophile, so yes, music uh works for me, it always brows my coffee. But yes, in terms of people, I I think I can uh motivate myself, and for me, as you mentioned, that teaching uh is passion, so of course, uh it was my passion, it is still my passion, and you know what? It's not for it's not a job for me, it's that uh state-of-the-art passion kind of stuff for me, right? So, yes, I can say that I eat, breathe, sleep uh my profession. So when you are so crazy about doing uh something, right? So I don't think so. You need motivation because you have that in abundance.
SPEAKER_01So the family has got this complaint, man. They say, Why do you always keep talking about your students? That the he said like that, she said like that. Even in uh YouTube sessions, also sometimes I mention, right? He told me. So I tell them that is I that is all about me, my journey, something I love, something I'm surrounded with. How can I not talk about them? They are the prominent, significant part of my life, yeah, right. So sometimes they get annoyed and irritated, they feel irritated that whole time you keep talking about your students. I love to be part of their journey, right? And that is how it is going.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, actually, this is I mean, our students, our classes, they they are the uh proofs, or uh actually they are the token of that acknowledgement for us, right? Because that's what we exactly are doing, and it's not only about love and passion, more than that, you get that acknowledgement as an individual, right? When I uh tell people that yes, I treat I help people or I train people. Okay, so though I'm not, I don't have in terms of certification, I don't have any certificate uh of training people, and I don't really need because I believe if you are experienced enough and if you are honest enough, you can achieve or you can help people, so it's about helping people. Yes, we name it uh training people or educating people, whatever you want to call it, right? Moreover, uh, when I connect with people, specifically with homemakers, and it's so overwhelming listening to them, watching them growing and glowing confidently, right? There are a lot of stories behind each and every person, and I feel so connected. They come to me, I get their WhatsApp messages, and they share their personal stuff with me. So it's not only about training people, it's about providing them a shoulder to cry on, and it's a big thing, right? It is a non-judgmental space, yes, yes, and no, here they are not going to judge, and they exactly try to vent it out sometimes, right? Right, their emotions very because uh you know what it's all about when you talk about women, it's all about they are uh chained in customs, and I mean they have been bottling up a lot of stuff, okay. So they need someone to express their feelings, emotions, right? So I have a lot, I mean, I have a plethora of stories, emotions. I feel so overwhelmed, and I feel so strong, actually, and I'm so grateful to God that I am at that level where at least I can uh help people by just listening to them, by offering them a smile, just a smile, a few words of motivation, and that's it. That's that's what they need. So, this is something different. No, not everyone can understand this. Okay, so I can understand, yes, I know it's clearly evident on your face. Oh my god, such a lovely conversation, is it? It is uh okay. So tell me anything. I mean, I don't want to ask you any question, just give anything you want to share.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so uh Na ma'am, you wanted to know about something uh that is uh the struggle, maybe like I have had. Yes, actually. Okay, so I may look at I am at the happiest phase, I would say. That's why. And sometimes I do I think like okay, I should not just go to those days when it was really not the best phase of my life, but that was necessary, right? That was the necessary phase. And um if I see, I look very happy, right? And I am a lively and uh jovial, vibrant kind of person, that is how I am. I love living my life, but that doesn't mean that I haven't been through any uh struggles or. Or any, I also had that pane of thoughts. Right. So if I think about those days, and through you, I'll I was able to reflect through those days of mine. So what I got in my mind was uh if I talk about my entire journey, it has never been easy, it has never been bed of roses, to be honest. Like any other person, I have been through some struggles and I acknowledge it. I have learned out of it, and today I feel so strong that I got an opportunity to deal with it. Maybe it shattered me at that time, but now I am a refined version of myself, because of those days, right? So uh if if I talk about my struggles, it was a little bit different if I compare it with others. So what happened was like there was a time when there were there there was it was like a complex stage, I would say. And there were two struggles. One was it was my internal struggle, and second was the external struggle. The internal struggle was as I mentioned, it was me versus my desires, my expectations. This was my first struggle, and second was the struggle with society and close ones. So if I talk about my internal struggles, what happened was since I had to, I was into a totally different field, like chartered accountancy. But somehow my soul, heart and soul didn't permit me to continue it. I always had a thought I am meant for something else. This is not for me. I uh want to admit it, I cleared all the attempts of chartered accountancy in one goal, like first attempt past, right? But it didn't permit me to carry on that because I know I am meant for something else. This is not the goal I am chasing for. And to be honest, money has never been my motive till date. Till date. If money would have been my motive, I would have been sitting in my chamber amidst files doing some good uh CA practice with an experience of 10 years, and I would have made a lot of money, a lot, but that was never a goal, still not a goal, and I chose my passion over my academic background. But there was constant struggle inside. Am I going in the right direction? Leaving it, right? Will this new phase of my life be productive, valuable, and uh will it help me grow? And what will happen in the future? It's a big step leaving this, of course. People said, why can't you continue along with CA? I said, I know I can continue with CA, but that is just going to be a side hustle, right? I don't want to make my passion just a side hustle, I want to grow in that. So this was one thing. Other thing was, I there is one thing I would like to share. So I have wasted a lot of my valuable time. A lot. How did I waste? Because I always there were a lot of expectations from me. I expected myself, and people around me, they expected myself. Like I remember my teachers' words, they used to say, This used, these used to be the words. And then I got married, and my life took a U-turn. For a couple of years, I was always hesitant to even update my teachers, my close ones, that I am already married because they wouldn't have believed it. That how can you get married so early? Right? Because they expected me at a totally different uh place. And that that was my expectation as well. Like, I want to do something extraordinary, but that you know, that doing extraordinary what I felt like something I'm sharing out of my experience, just in search, striving for that extraordinary thing, I realized I am simply wasting my valuable days. Why? Because that hunt started. What should I do? What should I do? And what is the best thing that can be done? I realized that I am not doing anything. And then I stumbled upon one phrase, one quote in one of the famous books. It is best is the enemy of good. Good, exactly. And you know, the day I wanted to start my YouTube channel, I wanted to start with this quote. Okay, best is the enemy of good. It struck me, it hit me so hard that this one line describes my me and my journey, just in search of best, and not even doing good. Good, that's true. So there I said, then and there I said, whatever comes my way, whatever opportunity that I'm just leaving, keep thinking it is not up to my expectation. No, now I'll grab it, I'll start, I'll give it a start. And then and there, that journey of teaching started, communication training. Till that time I was just looking for something extraordinary like that. But that is the point I realized no, I have to start from a point, and the doors will open eventually, but at least that start I need, and it happened like that. I started almost with negligible or I can say no money, right? And it I just started, but the day I started, I felt like it is a kind of rebirth. I've started reliving my life. As you mentioned, we need that acknowledgement when there is one character of mine. When I teach, if I teach kids, I teach them like my own kids, right? So it is not a burden, it is just a stress-free kind of thing you are doing out of passion. So it eventually grew, and today I'm here with 5,000 plus students, and uh it has been an amazing journey, very, very fulfilling, and there were many, many struggles, ma'am. Very, I know if I'll talk about those days, I may cry also. I know, I can feel that. But there were many external struggles, like I didn't have any support, no support, not from anyone. Even my struggle was not with distant people, like people struggled with their managers, with their bosses. That's easy. I struggled, yeah. That's easy. I struggled with my family, my close people, closest people, no support, nothing. And there came a point of time when I became you know stubborn or maybe stonehearted. And I have to break the barriers for myself, and I have to do something. So that is how it means it was traumatic, actually. It was traumatizing, it was never easy, never easy because I I don't want to be uh to admit it here. I am blessed with one of the most dreamy and amazing families. Everything is great, but they say that you cannot be blessed with everything, no? Everything, yes, they couldn't resonate with this thing. Like, how can you leave CA? How can you just go for something that is simply your passion? How? Like, they couldn't resonate with it. Not even one person uh appreciated my decision, not even one person wanted me to work like that, leaving everything, and days were really, really hard. Like I had to do things in hidden secretly, yes, so not very easy, but still, things are great today. They know what I'm doing, what my work is about. At that time, it was struggling because I belong to a completely different background, like it is an entirely business background, it feels like, and when you are in that, they don't understand these things. Live your life with luxuries, whatever you are blessed with, enjoy those luxuries. I don't want to enjoy. They never wanted me to work under some someone, but I wanted to work under someone to learn, to grow, to grow, to get that backlash.
SPEAKER_00I wanted that backlash so that I can understand where I'm going wrong. Exactly, that's necessary. Actually, it requires rain and sun to flower, right? So, yes, actually, that's true, and uh, it's all about that hidden pain because people see the vibrant and you know, very, very happy Vini. Uh, the other day, I guess Sunita and I discussed this very topic: the hidden pain, and uh, I think we need to go for the second part with you. And uh, there are there are a lot of things to discuss, but we are running short of time. I tell you, I can resonate with your story because I guess the pain is similar, and but but it's all about that face of adversity and how you exhibit that uh unwavering economity, right? When you are just surrounded with a lot of negativities and a lot of questions, how did you deal with that scenario? And if you are able to deal with it, I guess no one can uh nothing can beat you, nothing can happen now, right? Because we uh we become uh so uh strong, and actually, I can say that yes, I have outgrown uh some people, some situation now. Now they don't really bother me, so it happens, or yes, it happens with experience when you experience that pain, that struggle, right? It is necessary uh to build a strong character, and I'm so proud of us, truly.
SPEAKER_01You asked one question, right? Whom do you look up to? I look up to myself because there was no one else in this journey of mine. Lovely, I struggled, I faced the opposition, and I want to give that credit to myself that I broke those barriers, those stereotypes, all the negativity around, and finally I fought for myself. Really, I fought for myself. It was a big fight, to be honest. But yeah, I didn't easier said than done.
SPEAKER_00I know, so simply actually, it's easy, you know, easier said than done that break the glass ceiling, but it's not easy to break that glass ceiling. You have to face a lot of things, a lot of traumas and whatnot, but eventually you grow as a beautiful person, strong person. So that's how we both are sitting here, lovely, and I guess uh it should continue in our next session, also. And I'm going to invite Sunita also, and we will be discussing something beautiful that that can uh inspire other people, right? So I just love it. Thank you so much uh for being here for keeping my afternoon so blessed. Yes, I feel so energetic and so happy. That's why I feel connected with you, even Sunita and I we talk about you and um be the way you are, okay, be the person you are, never ever change uh change, and lots of love, lots of blessing to you, and hope to see you very soon.
SPEAKER_01Feelings are mutual, absolutely mutual, and I'm sending you a lot of best wishes from my aunt. Okay, thank you so much.
SPEAKER_00Okay, bye bye, have a nice day, have a good day.
