[00:00:00] There are things we don't say. Sometimes it's the questions we ask ourselves after everyone else has gone to bed. It can be parenting struggles we think we're the only ones having, grief that we're carrying quietly, friendships that changed us, marriages that are shaping us, and they're all moments we just can't stop replaying. Sometimes they're ordinary moments that end up impacting us the most.

I'm Nicole. I've spent much of my life listening to stories. I'm a former counselor, photographer, church staff member, blogger, wife, and now I'm also a mom to four girls. I'm someone who's spent almost twenty years working with kids and their families, and I've learned that life is rarely as simple as it appears from the outside.

There's almost always more going on beneath the surface. There's more to the story, more to the moment, more to the struggle, and often a bigger picture that's just waiting to be seen.

That's what this podcast is all about.

It's not just honest, but authentic conversations about parenting, marriage, friendship, grief, mental health, faith, and just everyday life.

[00:01:00] Not at all because I have all the answers. Please don't come here looking for those because I do not have them. But I have learned some lessons, and I've found that some of life's most meaningful truths are discovered when we're willing to slow down, when we're willing to look closer, and when we're willing to talk about the things that we usually keep to ourselves.

So my hope is that you'll come here and that you'll feel seen. My hope is that you'll come here and you'll find community. And my hope is that you'll come here and we can build trust together. Together we can learn to behold this bigger picture that's inside of all of our everyday ordinary lives.
