SPEAKER_02

I had lunch last week with one of the largest XRP holders that I know personally. Like eight figures type type holder. Um even he is down in the dumps. This dude has been here since 2015, 2016. Like has has more XRP, like we know a lot of people with a lot of XRP. Okay. I'm talking like a whale. Like one of probably one of the largest retail holders of the world. He you know is just down in the dumps. He thinks that you know he round tripped it again uh in the last cycle. He should have sold more at the top. He's a trader, you know, so he has a portion of his bag that he does trade. And um, you know, just just beat up. And he's not thinking about selling, you know, he knows that it's gonna go back higher, but even he's like, you know, if we saw two dollars again, if we saw because for him that's like a lot, a lot a lot a lot of money. Um but you know, two dollars, three dollars. He's he's thinking about taking you know ten mil off the top and you know, at least putting that away and and letting the rest ride. Um But I think that's a sign of the times. Everybody here is beat up. Everybody here is telling you it's going lower. We almost tapped a dollar earlier today. Everybody's telling you it's going under a dollar. I'm not saying that it won't. I'm not saying it doesn't dip down, you know, somewhat below a dollar. But this is a bottom. Like this is what a bottom feels like in a crypto market. I don't know if this is your first time being here. Um, I've been through three of these, and this is the sentiment. People capitulate, people are posting, they're selling their whole positions, they're they're calling it a scam, they think that you know it's never gonna work out, they're in dire straits, they're at the moment of despair. This is what hard feels like. If if you're out there hurting, if you are in a spot where um, you know, you get off a little more than you could chew in anticipation of some price moving in the other direction, and you feel like you're over leveraged or any of that, like the companies are feeling it too. I don't know if you've seen all of that. We've seen tons of layoffs, Coinbase, uphold, you name it, on the exchange side, Gemini, everybody is using AI as an excuse to cut, you know, payroll and uh headcount, but they're not making the money. The trading fees aren't there, people aren't buying, there's not as there's no excitement in the market. I mean, if you were to go look on Google and see how many people are Googling Bitcoin and crypto, it would probably be way down from where it's been, you know, when the market's in euphoria and there's hype and everything's going on. This is this is that moment, this is what that feels like. So, like I said, if you're if you're beat up, just know like this is normal. Uh it always helps me when I have a frame of reference if I'm experiencing something good or bad. And you know, I I feel emotionally justified in how I feel. Um, and I understand that like this is what other people have to deal with to get the upside or experience the things that I want in my life. It's it's not easy. I mean, and I don't, you know, not to degrade how difficult this is, but if you're running a business or you know, looking to make any type of money in a significant way and and move, you know, improve your life and upgrade your standard of living, it's gonna suck for a period. There's no other way around it. There have to be sacrifices made, there are things that you have to do that the average person would not, and that is why there is a 1% plain and simple.

SPEAKER_08

Good morning, everybody. Hello and welcome back to another episode of your favorite crypto news related channel. And Johnny, there's gonna be some people out there who are devastated, and there's gonna be some people out there who have gotten the gift that they've been waiting for. Because during today's episode, as you guys can tell in the title, XRP is officially lost the $1 peg. And during today's show, we're gonna be breaking down a lot of updates. But I wanted to spend a whole bunch of time during today's episode breaking down exactly where we are in the XRP price chart, what could be coming next? What are some price targets that our listeners need to be aware of? And then we're also gonna provide some massive Clarity Act updates. But as you guys know, we've got a September vote. There's not massive movement there. So we're gonna be breaking down a lot of the other topics for today's specific episode. Now, I also want to remind you guys if you're having fun, you enjoy this content, or you just enjoy the community aspect of this thing, smash that like button and help us pass 589 likes on today's episode. When we do that, we're gonna be sticking around for a little bit of overtime. Now, Johnny, a lot has happened in just the last 24 hours. And I think a lot of people have the right to be frustrated. And this is something I've been very open-minded about throughout this entire bear market here in 2026, as XRP just closed out its lowest weekly close in almost two years. And this is really interesting, guys, because again, veteran crypto investors will understand how these market cycles work. We're in overvalued territory, people get overly optimistic. Now we're at the inverse. This is like black and white, light and dark. One of the things that our listeners can use to their advantage is that when people are panicking, just like Jake opened up this show with, when everybody's stepping out of this market, that is the time to be greedy. And Brad Garlinghouse said exactly that. But the question that I asked last night, and this got a lot of impressions, almost 100,000 views in about 12 hours here. I said, Am I the only person asking, where is Brad Garlinghouse? We haven't heard from Brad. It feels like since the summer kicked off here in 2026, and rightfully so. Now, today, it would be a phenomenal time to get an update from Brad Johnny because I made the joke again, once again this morning. And some people may find it funny, some people might not. But I said, warning, guys, RLUSD is about to pass XRP. And that was right before we lost that $1 peg. Now I'm gonna be honest, I'm gonna be objective, Johnny. What am I doing? I'm buying, and I've been buying, and I could be wrong, just like I was wrong in 2025. This is the strategy that I've decided to implement during this bear market, which is I'm not gonna catch the bottom, but I'm gonna continue to buy the lows. And when the tides eventually turn here and we start to see Bitcoin move in the other direction, I will be there ready to capitalize on the opportunity that I think thousands of our listeners out there know is coming at the back end of 2026 as we head into 2027. Now, we're also gonna be breaking down during today's episode Ripple's national banking license. I put out what I consider a great update last night, but we're gonna be going into some more detail about how Ripple is developing and building products that are centered around XRP. Now, we already passed over 200 likes on the program. I just want to give a massive thank you guys. One's in chat if you're buying the dip, two's in chat if you're sitting on the sidelines and maybe you're a little scared off by some of the things that we're witnessing here. I'd love to hear how you guys are feeling. But Johnny, I'd like to know your reaction. XRP for the first time in almost two years below $1. For some people, this is an opportunity. For others, this is a devastating moment.

SPEAKER_06

First of all, Abs, let me just say, good morning to all the cryptomaniacs out there. We love and appreciate you guys for showing up every single day. You guys are the best community in the world, best chat in the world, always out there giving their comments. Abs, I will say this about this whole thing. As you were talking about this $1 price point, right? And you were talking about how people are, you know, feeling sad and depressed. And I'm saying the first thing that's hitting my mind is man, if your happiness is and I'm gonna say something that people maybe aren't gonna like, but if your happiness is based on the price of XRP, you gotta do a little more deep diving in your life. Like I understand people making investments and in this and it's their money, and I get that. But here's the thing if you're sad because we're sitting at a dollar, you're not understanding the big picture. Just the way if I was sad when when oh my god, hold on, guys. Thank you so much. I got to mute my phone. I'll give you 30 seconds.

SPEAKER_08

I'll give you 30 seconds here. I gotta mute him, guys. I do want to we're muted, I'm good. Let me just say this real quick one thing that I do want to emphasize, guys. If this is your first bear market, remember the emotions that you're experiencing are totally normal. And I'll actually reference myself back in 2021, Johnny. I was totally caught off guard. So I want people to understand you are not alone. Floor is yours.

SPEAKER_06

So not only you're not alone, but if I had panicked abs, let's say, for example, there was a point in time when Amazon was a dollar, okay, and then it went all the way up well, you know, after after the telecom academic game, it went up to $120. Then it came back to a dollar and it went up to $3,300, okay? If you understand how technology works, and you understand how the investment community works, and you understand the technology that's coming, that this is gonna transform the world, these technologies. Now nobody gets it, right? If we were in 1996 right now, and I said you apps, the internet's coming, and you and I are gonna have a YouTube channel 20 years from now, we're gonna be talking about crap. You'd be like, Johnny, what the hell are you talking about? How are we gonna do that? How are we gonna be talking live stream on a computer to each other? You wouldn't even know what I'm talking about, right? You'd be like, What's he talking about? That's the same thing that's happening right now. Is the technology that's being deployed? Most people don't even understand today what it can do, how it's gonna change the world. I mean, you just talk to people, oh, it's a scam and this and that. No, the reality is this is this technology is gonna transform the world. A 99 cent price XRP, someday down the road, you're gonna look back, look at Amazon. Don't you wish you could buy Amazon right now at a dollar? Absolutely, would you buy Amazon right now at a dollar if you could? Boy, you would, right? So this is a this so I view this as a gift right now. A time to get now. Again, I'm not a financial advisor, it's not financial advice. You guys got to do what you gotta do. But to me, sitting here looking at a technology that we know is being deployed, we know big companies like BlackRock and JP Moore have talked about. We know that they bought big companies like Hidden Roads and Matako and they're deploying the technology. It's only a matter of time before this use cases start to build, and we start to see the demand for XRP to go up to be able to support the transactions that have to happen on it. Okay, and I'm saying this because I want people to understand as more and more use cases build and more adoption happens on the XRP ledger, the higher the price eventually has to go to be able to support those. So you just have to be willing to like abs. I didn't even I don't care that we're at 99 cents. I'm not looking at today, I'm looking at the future. And if you're looking at the future, you can recognize that somewhere down the road it's gonna be much higher. So to me, the right thing now in my case is hey, I'm just gonna buy more when I can. When I got disposable income, I buy some more, keep packing the bags, keep DCAing. And someday down the road, I know the technology is gonna take off, the use cases are gonna happen. You got a massive company like Ripple, a hundred billion dollar company banking on the price of XRP going up because they own 35 billion. I mean, that's growth. You don't think they want this stuff to go up? No, there's no doubt about it. So, guys, I'll just tell you this. Don't get disappointed by the price action today. Get disappointed if you don't see adoption in use cases. If you don't hear any companies talking about XRP being looked at, being tested, being trialed, then you should be upset. And right now, abs, what's the one thing we keep hearing about all the time? XRP here, XRP there, SBI there, Japan's gonna do this. I mean, you couldn't be more happier. So ignore the price today and worry about what's coming down the road. That's that's at least, abs, if nothing else, that's how I'm looking at it. And I'll I'll stop my preaching, I'll stop my preaching at this point, but that's how I'm looking at it.

SPEAKER_08

Well, here's the truth, guys is that again, what are we going through right now? We're at the bottom of a bear market, and I would say the uh the emotions that you're feeling, the frustration, it's justified. But here's what Johnny said that I think was so brilliant, Johnny. I love this part of your response was that if you're worried about where we are in the short term for the XRP price chart, that means you don't understand the long-term vision that Ripple is developing. And Jake had a great tweet that he put out over the weekend. He said for XRP to work as a bridge currency between two banks, settling a $50 million transaction, it needs enough in the liquidity pool to handle that transaction without moving the price. Ripple doesn't just want XRP to be valuable, they need it to reach a certain level. Institutional adoption isn't just good for holders, it's the next step for the network to function at scale. And during today's episode, guys, we're going to be expanding upon that because I think it's one of the most important things that we can apply in order to not fall for our emotions. A lot of times, your emotions can be the most misleading thing, especially as a long-term crypto investor. And I can speak for myself because back in 2021, Johnny, my initial plan was I'll be taking zero profit until we hit $5. Here we are, five, six years later. We never hit $5. So we have to adjust. We have to learn. And I want to remind you guys, that is why I love this show so much. We have so many people here who are going to be here during the bear market. You're the ones who are set to reap the benefits when the tides finally turn. And the modern investor put up a great tweet here before we get into all the breaking news that we have for today. He said it drives me up a wall to know all these companies are buying huge amounts of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP. And crypto investors are acting like we're about and are acting like we aren't about to see the largest bull run in history. We have the answers to the test, and no one is paying attention to any of it. And this is what we've seen publicly, guys, with the ETF inflows and all these different narratives. But as we're breaking down during today's episode, we are going through a bear market. And that's why I think our listeners should double down on the assets that they understand. And I've been very objective throughout this entire process. And I welcome the criticism, right? Nobody likes to be criticized, but I'm very objective about how I operate in this space. I was buying XRP at $1.80. I was buying XRP at uh $2 in December. I am applying the exact same strategy here. And I've even told you exactly how I'm doing it. I'm leveraging the iTrust platform so I can accumulate as much crypto as possible for the 1% flat rate that they offer. And if we do see some of these lower prices where XRP eventually not only dips below a dollar, but maybe it gets into that 91 or 88 cent range, that could be the opportunity that people look back upon, Johnny, and say, I wish I bought more. And the fact that everybody is so emotionally exhausted and just tapped out, that's another great indicator that, guys, this is the time to be greedy. But Cypress Demencor put out a great update here when it comes to XRP because what is he using? The dark pools. And where is the next range that our listeners need to keep an eye on? Now that we've fallen below a dollar and three cents, we're ranging at 99 cents right now. We could fall all the way to 91 cents and potentially all the way to that 88 cent price target. And the question that I have for you guys is ones, if you would be buying the dip, twos, if you'd be waiting for lower prices. But I really do believe as I'm about to play in a clip from Blockchain Backer, we're seeing the on-chain losses, we're seeing the volatility, and now we're seeing the sentiment reach an all-time low. We also have some of these treasury companies like Michael Saylor beginning to dump their Bitcoin in the midst of all this chaos. So the people who were here forever, they were pillars of the 2021 bull run. Even they're hurting and they're losing conviction. So remember, guys, we're all in this market together. The best part about crypto, when asset prices are going up, we're all making money. When asset prices are going down, we're all losing it together as well. And that applies to me. I want to give a big thank you to Brent for this five bucks. He said XRP went from one, two to three dollars and now three, two to one dollars. I guess the riddlers were right. Hang on tight, everyone. Brighter days are coming. And whether you believe in the Riddler narrative or not, here's the reality XRP is undervalued in this bear market. It was less than 365 days ago, Johnny. That XRP was not only above three bucks, we were well above three bucks for a short period of time. So again, those days will return, guys. But if you're having fun, you want some overtime. We're about to get into some XRP price action on today's episode. Smash that like button. We already passed over 330 likes on the program. If we pass 589, we have a standard here on GEC. We stick around for a little bit of overtime. And I think you guys are really going to appreciate a lot of the content that we get into. Now I'm about to play some of the highlights from BC Backer's video earlier this morning, Johnny, but we have to remember this because it will only exist for a short period of time. The bear market ends just like the bull run. The bull run ends in total euphoria. Everybody thinks we're going higher. The bear market ends with everyone thinking we're going lower and then we uptick. So I want our listeners to be prepared for that. And that's what BC Backer was stating in his video earlier this morning. Here's a brand new clip, and we'll break it down.

SPEAKER_05

Here it is. But in bigger developments, we're seeing a slight new low come out right there for XRP. Now in mid-July, I posted over here on the newsletter, and I've brought this up like in almost every video since here on the YouTube channel. But my thoughts were we would see something of like a 67 to 68,000 Bitcoin price, followed by an ABC correction to show up in here for Bitcoin, and that some altcoins could find their true bottom during that pullback, like XRP, that we could see that bottom come in there while we were seeing this pullback happening in here for Bitcoin. And amazingly, so far, we're seeing really just that Bitcoin's still holding itself. It's like it's ABC correcting. We're getting that move down there in XRP, and we're finally starting to get those on-chain losses to get much closer to the historical norms of what we see when a true bottom for XRP comes in. As we've now seen on-chain losses hit as high as 42.4 billion coins in a loss. And if we kind of go back over here to the left and look back over here in the 2022 bear market when we bottomed, we got to about 42.3, and that marked our true low back there in the 2022 bear market. Now we've seen higher numbers than that. We've seen things like during the C19 crash, we got to 43.4, and that marked our true low down there at like 13 cents. And we've seen on-chain losses as high as about 45 billion, even without setting a new low in here post-FTX. So when we look back to where our true bottoms have occurred in the past two bear markets that we've had for Bitcoin, it happened one during the C19 crash at 43.3. And then over here in 2022, we found our bottom in June at a little bit over 42, right around 42.3. And currently today we sit at 42.4. So we're definitely within those historical norms of where we find true bottoms for bear markets. Of course, the unknown is just is it 42.4? Is it 43.3? Is it 45? We don't really know, but we know structurally these were the expectations that we would have in this type of an environment for us to be able to do something like that. And we're getting it to show up in here. Well, Bitcoin really is just kind of tame in here doing this ABC correction.

SPEAKER_08

So there you have it, Johnny Crypto. One of the things that I think people should be aware of is that Bitcoin may not have nearly the correction that these altcoins are going to have. And that's what I want to break down for the next portion of today's show, guys. But right now, I want to give a massive thank you. We got over 2,400 live listeners here. I want to hear from you. Once again, one's in chat if you're buying the dip, two's in chat if you're sticking there on the sidelines, kind of waiting for some lower lows, or let us know your game plan in chat here. But Johnny, here's something that we know for sure. The on-chain losses are telling us we're at the bottom of a bear market. The standard correction here, down over 75% in 12 months, that tells us we're very close to the bottom of a bear market. Consumer sentiment also screaming that we're at the bottom of a bear market. So huge indicators are flashing, guys. And this is the value of having been in this market for over seven years, Johnny. Is that yes, not only do I have a little bit of PTSD from 2022 and maybe the COVID crisis, but I also have a lot of experience. I have a lot of wisdom when it comes to digital assets specifically. And I understand that this market is it works in a cyclical nature. And that's not just my opinion. That is also the opinion of Larry Fink. Here's 12 seconds of BlackRock CEO, and we're kicking it to Johnny Crypto. Here it is. It's not about if our market's going up or down.

SPEAKER_03

Is there a bubble in crypto or is there a bubble in technology? It's about being in the market throughout the cycle.

SPEAKER_08

There you have it, Johnny. And so what does it mean? It means not being scared out during these bearish times.

SPEAKER_06

Floor is yours. Bingo, it's exactly right. You know, and the funny thing is, as I'm watching as you're as you were playing the BC Backer video, which by the way, there's nobody I trust more personally with technical analysis than BC Backer. He's just been spot on since the dead and following this guy since 2020. So BC Backer, shout out to you. But the thing is, as we're going through it, right? And you see that he's even like, oh yeah, we're near the bottom. But you just mentioned like a bunch of different things. You know, that all the sentiments down, everything's down, right? All this stuff's piled on top of it. Like literally, abs, we are almost at the worst case scenario possible. And the reason when you say to Johnny, why are you excited? I'll tell you why I'm excited. Because we just said we're at the worst case possible. And we're still at a dollar. We're not at 20 cents, we're not at 50 cents, we're not at eight cents. We're sitting around a dollar, which tells you that this is probably a very, very, very good, again, not financial advice, probably a very good solid entry point, right? You want to always you always want to be buying low, not high. So everybody who who wants XRP, you should be ecstatic right now that you have an opportunity to buy it this low. Because I feel like how many other things can you pile on top of it? And everything else you want to pile on top of it when she's screaming and yelling when they're out in the cabin. You know, like everything's going bad. So you think about the same thing. There's so much PTSD here, everything's going bad. The worst thing, trees are falling, cats and dogs get living together, everything's bad, but yet here we are still sitting around a buck. Which tells me that we kind of found, I think, the fair value of this technology right now in its worst case scenario. And there's nothing wrong with that. Now, abs, the bottom line is there's just upside potential. Now just let the companies go do their jobs, let these guys go start deploying the technology, let Ripple do what they're doing. Now, do this though. Call your senators, get on their asses. You got thirty, you got a you got um, yeah, you got about 30, you got 30 days, or a little bit more. You got 35 days. Because on the 15th of September, they're gonna they're gonna vote on this bill. If you care and you wanna do something, if you're the type of person that doesn't want to just sit on your hands, call your local senator, especially Democratic ones, but the Republicans too, by the way. And tell them that you want America to be led first and you want the crypto, you want America to be the crypto capital of the world, and you're expecting your senator that you voted for to do their job and make America first and figure out a way to get it done. That's a message, something like that. You should leave with them. And that is the best thing you can do between now and September 15th if you care about this technology and you want to do something. Because that's the only, that's the voice you have right now. You actually abs every single crypto voter has more power than they realize right now. For the next 30 days, you have a ton of power. Pick up the phone, call your senator, and let them know you're expecting them to get this thing done.

SPEAKER_08

Guys, I want to emphasize what's going on with the Clarity Act as well, because we're not just seeing a massive dip in the XRP price chart. This is happening to altcoins all across the board. We're just an XRP centric program. But I did want to shift gears for just a moment here and give you the latest update on where the Clarity Act stands today, because White House advisor Patrick Witt shared some big news. I would consider this big news as the administration remains fully committed to getting the Clarity Act across the finish line in September. But we just passed over 2,500 live listeners. If you're having fun, you enjoy this content, smash that like button. We're at about 420 likes. If we pass 589 in the next 10 minutes, we're sticking around for some overtime during today's episode. And this is what Patrick Witt had to say about the Clarity Act, Johnny, because although these people want us to think it's dead and gone, I think we're going to see a Clarity Act vote. And if that happens, anything is possible. Now, the administration, according to Patrick Witt, remains fully committed to getting the Clarity Act across the finish line in September of 2026. Durable rules, the kind only legislation can provide, are needed now more than ever, according to the advisor. But we also can't afford to wait forever. Every time Democrats have delayed this bill, America has fallen further and further behind in the digital asset race, jeopardizing our leadership role in global financial markets and weakening our national security and denying law enforcement the tools that they need to stop crypto crime. Clarity represents years of genuine bipartisan work, and Democrats still have a real opportunity to shape digital asset policy here inside of America by helping this bill pass into law. Our doors remain open and we'll keep negotiating in good faith all the way until the September vote. And this really is one of those situations, Johnny, where it's like the boy who cried wolf. These pro-Clarity Act candidates have lost a lot of credibility because whether it be Senator Loomis, Rick Scott, Tim Scott, all of these people told us last week we're going to get a vote before the August recess. And what happened? These Republican senators supported going on break in August. And let me call out one senator specifically. Now I'm a powerless, weak individual over here, guys. So if Rick Scott's watching, don't come after me, my friend. But here's what I would say: he came on air and was like, we're going to do everything we can to keep Republicans here for the August recess. I looked at how he voted. He voted to go home. So again, these are just things that are objective. This is how reality works, and we're going to call it out. And I'm not even calling it out. I wouldn't even say that. I would just say I'm pointing out what took place. And I think it's objective.

SPEAKER_06

Floor's yours, Johnny.

unknown

Facts.

SPEAKER_06

Nothing wrong with calling out facts. Don't abs first of all, you are very powerful. Don't ever think that calling out facts is the wrong thing. That's what we do on this show, right? We talk facts and then we speak from the heart of what we believe. And the reality is, listen, I will, I will say what this guy says right here, Joseph. Don't believe every politician. That is true, Joseph. You are absolutely right. Uh and loves talks, right? This is why you ignore the news. The reality is, Abs, these guys are going to say one thing and they're going to do another. That's just that's just unfortunately what we've seen of Congress over the past 20 or 30 years. The hypocrisy has been off the charts. So it is what it is, right? At this point, it is disappointing because Rick Scott was somebody that, you know, I kind of respect him, right? Good guy from Florida. And you kind of figure if he says something, he means it. I don't know. Maybe because they moved the vote to, you know, in all fairness, I'll give them this. Maybe because they've moved the vote to September, they knew it was going to happen and was going to give more time to go figure out. Maybe they figured, okay, you know what, we can go on vacation because we did, we did set a date. So that's possible, right? So I'll give him a little, I'll give him a little bit of a pass there because I am happy. I am very happy. Extremely happy that there is, you said before, we may get a vote. No, no, no, no. You're not not we might get a vote. We are getting a vote, my friend. Don't forget, abs. We are getting a vote on September 15th, one way or the other at 2.15 p.m. And maybe we'll unmark my calendar, I'll block it. Maybe we'll even go live. What day is that day? Maybe we'll go live that day, abs, at that time and bring that vote to you guys live on the air. Where we are finally going to see the rubber meets the road, and we are going to see where people stand, how serious they are, and I'm talking about our congressman on making America the crypto capital of the world. And if they don't, now they got to face the public. Somebody said in the chat, um, uh, let me see what it is here, Abs. Oh, yeah, poor Allie. I don't believe we have the power. You do, Allie. You do have the power right now because these senators care about winning the election. So you have some power. What I mean is you have some power right now because there's leverage, because they, if the more and more their phone, abs, I was in politics, the more and more my phone was ringing with people complaining to me, the more I knew, oh wow, this is a problem I need to think about. Versus if my phone ain't ringing and nobody's complaining to me, then I know, like, ah, nobody cares, I'll just vote the way I want to vote. So it does, I'm telling you guys, it does matter when their phones are ringing off the hook and their aides are telling them, oh my god, the phone won't stop ringing. People want the clearity act. That is gonna go through the senator's brain. So believe me when I tell you, you do have some power right now for the next 30 days until they make that vote. This is the only time where some time where you have some ability to impact how they think. I would not dismiss that. And if you are on defense of whether you should make the call or not, make the freaking call because trust me, this is the one time you probably have some power.

SPEAKER_08

I somewhat agree with this. And I want to take the different approach here because, again, what did we document all throughout last week? Over 1.2 million Americans reached out to senators all across the country. Massive outreach, massive demand here. You don't see that kind of outreach even for the Save Act. We're seeing more demand here for the crypto bill, and it had zero, and I mean donuts on the impact that it had before getting a vote before the August recess. No, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_06

But you don't know that. You say it had zero impact, but it might have impact on making sure that September 15th vote got documented. Maybe, maybe, maybe, right? Thune said, holy cow, there's a lot of people want this thing. I need to do something before we leave the recess to let people know we're gonna do it. That's how I'm that's how I'm viewing it. So I'm taking the opposite approach, saying I think it did have an impact, and that's why he picked a date so far out and said, We're making this thing happen. And I'm on record saying it. And I think it's because of the 1.2 minutes. So that's my eight cents. That's the other side of it.

SPEAKER_08

And and I'm not even necessarily disagreeing. And I could be wrong, but yeah, and I'm not even necessarily disagreeing. What I think is actually more relevant to point out is that there's something broken about this process. That was kind of the whole speech that I was going to get into, guys. But we are about 30 minutes into the program. If you're having fun, you want that overtime. We got five minutes left in the show. Smash that like button. We already passed 500 likes on the program. If we pass 589, we're sticking around for some overtime. And I want to give a massive thank you to these two donations that came in. Chris donated and he said, Thank you for the $25 and the membership. And it's funny, Chris, I actually wore your hat that you gave me in Vegas during my yesterday video. So check it out if you haven't yet. He said, My blue ape Uncle Davy shirt will be driving the killdozer for swell attendees. How much SHX is enough? I don't have an answer to that question, but here's what I do have an answer to. People keep asking me, Are am I going to be attending Ripple Swell? Yes, I will be attending Ripple Swell in October. So let me know if you guys are also gonna be there. But here's what Crypto Dad said, or Crypto Topaz, sorry about that, with the five bucks. He said, I bought my house back in 2017 when I was young and sold it two months ago. My only worry is to run out of dry powder with these fire sales on XRP. We will be legends. And a big part of me agrees with this, Johnny, because one of the things that I've been so focused on over these last 12 or 18 months is how many people are getting scared out of this market. And it seems to be like there's a divide between people who understand what the end game is for Ripple, the XRP ledger, and people who are only here to watch the number go up. And I fault nobody, right? I'm here to watch the number go up as well. But there needs to be some sort of a rationale for where that new demand is gonna come from, whether you think it's the Clarity Act, Ripple products, or whatever it may be. So, with that being said, guys, I do have some pretty cool updates that we're gonna get into from the Paul Barron podcast yesterday. He let us know about what the status of the Clarity Act is in its current form and what could be happening in the month of September when we get an official vote. But I did have another interesting update, and that's this one right here. As Patrick Witt stated, it is a national security threat to not get the Clarity Act across the finish line. And here's a quick rundown on everything that you guys need to know involving the Clarity Act. And thank you for that, Johnny. I appreciate that. Clarity Act events are wrapped. September 15th vote is set up, the banking revolt, the ethics fight, and everything that could happen next before leaving Washington, D.C., Senate Majority Leader, also known as the incompetent John Thune, filed a closure motion to proceed putting the bill in a position for a potential September 15th procedural vote. But there is a huge battle standing in the way of that clarity of getting to the Senate floor. And this is where it gets important. 60 votes are still needed. Republicans can't advance this bill on its own. And Johnny, I know we've said this a thousand times. I just want to repeat it once more. What's happening on September 15th is the cloture vote. So first we have to get 60 votes for the cloture, then this goes to the full Senate floor. So it's important to kind of emphasize that. Ethics is the biggest roadblock for the time being. Both parties still need to reach to reach a deal over the ethics rules covering federal officials and crypto interests. And banks have officially entered the fight. Now, we didn't get a chance to break this down during yesterday's show, but it appears that the community banks, Johnny Crypto, are the ones that were actually responsible for preventing the Clarity Act get across the finish line. And check out this update right here. This person said what really shifted the tone was it wasn't the big banks telling the story anymore, said Brad Bolton, the CEO of a $225 million community bank. He said, You needed unknown community bankers like myself out of the middle of nowhere, telling the senator this is the real impact of passing the Clarity Act. And Chad Steingraber commented, I find this suspicious on so many levels. One part is either ignorance of the technology or outright lying due to being bribed by large institutions. You're telling me that a small community bank, which probably has the most to benefit from this technology because it removes the dependency of these larger correspondent banks, they're the ones who are worried about the operational risks here. Nothing makes sense anymore. Unless they're lying, then it starts to make sense. And that's according to Chad Steingrabber there. But Johnny, I think that's important to emphasize because we know money talks, my friend. And what do I think is happening here? The banking lobby, talk to the little big bros, talk to the little bros. And they said, hey, little brother, here's what you got to do. No, I don't think there was a conversation. I think it was more a sense of this is what's going to happen. But I'd like to hear some of your thoughts, then we'll dive into the Paul Barron update.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, the kind of the similar thought went through my mind when I heard the small banks are pushing back and not the big ones. I was like, it just kind of didn't, I didn't, it didn't, it didn't make sense to me either, Abs, especially when studies were done that were shown that a lot of money isn't going to be leaving these small banks and going to crypto exchanges because of the yield. Because this was what they were complaining about, the yield thing. And the yield thing has already been addressed. So that argument doesn't even hold water. So unless if there's something else behind it, I struggle with this too because at the end of the day, we do know that this solution, as I scream about and talk about all the time on this channel, is a cheaper, better solution. So every single bank who adopts a blockchain technology is going to end up with a better bottom line. They're going to be making more profit, more money in the long run. So why would you sit here and say you're against something that's going to improve you making more money as a bank? It's just it just didn't make sense to me as well, which tells me there's probably some other agenda or something else. But like you said, the big brother saying, hey, we need you guys to take the hit on this one. And I don't know why they would even do that, but nonetheless, something smells fishy here, my friend. And that that's uh, I'll just leave it at that.

SPEAKER_08

I agree with this, Johnny. And I think what smells fishy is that there's rotten fish during these negotiations, for lack of a better term. It's like these guys just have really bad intentions. And I think that's one of the biggest things that's prevented these Clarity Act discussions from progressing, is that I don't think a lot of these negotiations are happening in good faith. But that's just my personal opinion, guys. We are about to enter the overtime portion of today's show. If you're having fun, you enjoy this content, smash that like button. We got about 60 seconds left in the program. I'm gonna check if we pass 589. We're sticking around for some overtime. Now, here's a little Anthony Pompliano Hopium talking about as long as the Fed keeps printing money, all digital assets will continue to rise. Here's the clip.

SPEAKER_09

The only thing that matters in finance is that the people in Washington, D.C., they are absolutely ridiculous. They will not stop printing money. If they keep printing money, Bitcoin's gonna keep going up over the long run. So will gold, so will real estate, so will stocks. If they print money, asset prices will go to the moon. And Bitcoin happens to be the single most sensitive asset in the world to global liquidity. And so all you're betting on is the stupidity of the politicians to keep printing money. And I don't know about you, but that is a bet I will take all day long is they are never, ever, ever gonna stop printing money.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know of any investment which is even likely or possibly gonna go up 30% every year for 30 years.

SPEAKER_09

I don't know anything. Take away the time component for a second, right? As I was telling you before, 20 years is a long time. 20 years ago, people didn't know how to spell AI. So we got to make sure that a lot of technology can change in 20 years. But I do think that let's just say over a 10-year time period, if you look at the government printing of money, it is accelerating. Bitcoin has historically over the last 10 years compounding your growth rate of over 60%. And so if they're printing money faster in the next 10 years than in the last 10 years, then I think that again, we're saying that Bitcoin's compounding your growth rate comes down 50%. That's not crazy.

SPEAKER_08

There you have it, Johnny. I thought that was a phenomenal clip because once again, during these bear markets, people get caught in the emotions of the whole thing. Let's just focus on the math and data. All of this is very applicable. The more that the printing press runs, the more that clients are sold on the idea of crypto and blockchain products, the more people who are gonna enter this asset class, the more wealth that will flood into this asset class. And every single one of our listeners who's going through this bear market with us alongside us, we're the ones who are gonna reap the benefits. And that's why I continue to emphasize that point here on Good Evening Crypto is because I know that these bear markets, they only last so long. And the exact same people who are tapping out and complaining and stepping out of the space, they're the ones that will return during a bull market and buy these assets at much higher prices. Don't be a sucker. Don't make these rookie mistakes that I did because I I did that. Avoid that. Instead, don't let your emotions get the best of you. Understand the vision of XRP. And if you were dying to buy this asset when it was about to break all-time highs last summer, why not buy it right now at a dollar and a 75% discount? When the reality is we've seen so much growth and progression since that previous testing of the all-time highs. Floor is yours, John.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Well, I think Abs, what's interesting about what Pomp said there is he took a whole different approach. Like you and I have been talking about on this show for the longest time about the appreciation of a crypto asset because it's a new technology, it's a new market, and we believe adoption is going to drive it over time. And that's been our main premises. What I like, what Pomp was talking about there, is a whole different additional value increase, if you want to look at it that way, that's coming. In addition to just the growth and the adoption of the technology, is the mere fact that any real asset, real asset that you invest in, because the government continues to print money, is only going to naturally go up over time. It's a hedge. So if you're investing in a house or you're investing in gold and silver or anything out of fiat, anything that's not paper, you know, cash, not good. But crypto, again, another, you know, real asset, digital asset, these assets have the potential to go up strictly simply. Forget the adoption part of it, right? That's a whole nother like that's what we're cutting on the bonus, right? But there's a whole bonus here, the fact that because the government is never gonna stop printing money, because right now, Abs, our system is designed to print money. That's how it works. That just means every natural real asset is gonna continue to go up over time. Go look at any chart. Go look at any chart, abs. Go look at a housing chart from 1965 to today. It's been up, housing's up 15x. Go look at gold and silver, it's up like hundreds of X over 1971 because again, because of the printing of the dollar. So POMP is 100% spot on. If if let's say we don't ever get any adoption of Bitcoin, it's still gonna go up over time, apps, because of two reasons. Well, one, it's got a halving cycle, and two, because the government's gonna continue to print money in a real asset like that, and with a scare, a scarce real scarce, right? Scarcity, real asset, is gonna continue to go up over time. And to me, that's another kind of benefit of being able to invest in this in this asset class as we know as printing continues to go on, this this category is gonna appreciate alone in that. You're gonna get that benefit. Now, will that be a bigger appreciation than the adoption? No, I don't think so. I think adoption will drive it to all you know much, much higher. But I think the the beauty is apps, you have both. You've got an adoption cycle that's gonna drive the price up over time, and you also have the fact that the printing presses is gonna continue to go on, and that's gonna drive the price up too. You have these two things, these two catalysts that are continue to drive the price up over time. I shouldn't say catalysts, these are more activities and events. Catalysts will be like the the clarity act if we get it. But anyway, so to me, that is in and you know, I I I always talk to abs all the time. They're about love songs. Yeah, we love talking to each other. But the point being is, abs, I think that this is where it's gonna get exciting, is you don't have to rely on just adoption alone. If if adoption didn't happen, you would still see an appreciation in this asset class just for the mere fact that we just keep printing dollars and people, that's just gonna drive the the asset class. That's gonna drive the price up of anything that's not fiat.

SPEAKER_08

I agree with that. And think about this too. What they're doing is they're expanding these traditional products. So all of this demand that exists for traditional banking, a lot of that is gonna migrate on chain. And our friend Tony Edward had a phenomenal interview with somebody at Chainlink, and he said the banking industry has moved beyond debating whether blockchain is here to stay and whether these ideas are better. Now they're just focused on how do we integrate these technologies and which of these technologies provides the best benefit for the products that we're offering to our clients. That's a massive shift, and you're not gonna see that maybe on social media as much, but these are the private conversations that'll have a huge impact in the long run. Now, I do want to give a massive thank you. We got over 3,500 live listeners here. If you're having fun, we pass 620 likes. Smash that like button and can we pass 800 likes for the overtime portion? That's just an arbitrary goal we set for ourselves. But we love and appreciate you guys and thank you for participating every single episode. Whether it's the live chat just watching doesn't make a difference. We're we're appreciative that we have this audience and that so many people are interested in the same topics and conversations that we are. Now, here's an interesting conversation: is the bull market dead if we don't get clarity? This man says yes, I'll provide the opposite end of that.

SPEAKER_01

Do we need passage of the Clarity Act to see a recovery in cryptocurrency? I mean, Bitcoin has sort of been hovering near these levels for months now.

SPEAKER_07

Yes, we've been sure thing. Uh, the the the winter has lasted about 10 months, really since that deleveraging uh event back in October. And I think the uncertainty is worse than the bad news. So I think if we can just dispense, get through the clarity process, and again, with interest rates, get to that point of max hawkishness. I think the market will start to open up a little bit. You'll be able to tell because you'll see leverage coming back into the crypto system. And how do you see leverage coming back into the crypto system? Look at rates on decentralized platforms. They're the numbers are right there. And when those numbers start to go up, you'll know that people want to borrow more, put more money to work, and that will be a great sign that energy is returning to the crypto space.

SPEAKER_08

So, guys, I'm gonna say it just one more time. It's undeniable. We're we're at the bottom of a bear market. This is like absolute feel so strong. Sorry about that. This is absolute devastation when you think about consumer sentiment. And think about your friends and family. I know a lot of people here, you're probably really smart, you probably really enjoy crypto content, you're watching all these different channels. To the average consumer, you know what they hear? Hey, how's your Bitcoin doing? Oh, I heard it's I heard it's down to six 65% in the last year. How is it being a crypto guy? There's gonna be a lot of those conversations, but remember, those are the same people who return during these bull markets and they ask you, is it too late to buy Bitcoin at 200K? What do you think about 150,000? Is that too high to buy a Bitcoin? I've been there, I've been through that cycle, and that's why I'm gonna try to share that experience with you guys as well. But I wanted to play this pretty interesting update here. This is a brand new update from the Paul Barron podcast. And what they're talking about is how the September vote will take place. Now, they do a pretty great job just breaking it down, but one of the biggest things that prevented Clarity from getting across the finish line, Johnny, it wasn't the Republicans, it was the Democrats, according to this executive. I also want to give a huge thank you just to everybody smashing the likes. Like I said, if we can pass 800 likes, we want to give you a massive thank you once again. Smash that like to just help us out. Totally free way to do it. Here's what Paul Barron had to say just yesterday.

SPEAKER_03

Attached to the bigger senators that have kind of led the charge, and that means Warren, Gallegos, Senator Also Brooks, many of which kind of have been in this position before. I just don't know if based on what I'm seeing right now, if um if this actually goes to a vote. What you because right now, explain to me what happens when they come back. Because my understanding is this is just a cloture vote, right? Not a vote on clarity, just a cloture vote.

SPEAKER_04

That's exactly right. It's a procedural vote to get on to uh discerning whether or not the Senate will actually ultimately pass this bill. So it's it's a procedural vote that just kicks us off. But you need 60 votes. So right now, I mean. You need at least 10 Democrats. You might need more because there are about seven or eight Republicans that may not be in favor of this legislation at this moment. But I want to point out, right, the biggest thing here is ethics, right? Yield is getting a lot of attention right now. But if if we can get to a bipartisan agreement on ethics, that's what uh really opens the door for us to consider this legislation again. Without the ethics deal, I don't think you can get to six feet. Yield, I actually think um there are a couple of senators that are definitely hearing out their constituents, talking through this, saying it might not be exactly what they want. Um, but if if all of a sudden we have a bipartisan ethics deal, I I could see some of these senators that have expressed concern maybe coming back over to support clarity without any changes on yield. I've talked to Senator Also Brooks' office, right? Key negotiator on the Democrat side for that uh yield provision and clarity. And they made it very clear that they don't want to open this back up. Now there are a handful of senators, Republican and Democrat, that are considering it, but I don't know that they have a majority yet at this point.

SPEAKER_03

All right, so if they don't, okay, so that's the question right now, because I think the issue is being able to get to that 60. And I don't know how to trust these guys because you know, we've been watching this for months, almost 18 months now, really following it very closely, full research. We've probably interviewed more people on this topic than anybody, maybe in the world, in terms of how this potentially will play out. And one of the things that keeps haunting me is the way that our lawmakers will promise something, and even to the point of where they were saying, hey, we're gonna stay late, we're gonna, you know, extend our session, we're gonna get this across the line. And then they end up going with a voice vote to actually leave Congress and not get this underway last minute. Thune throws this on the cloture for possibly getting on the uh docket in September. These are the kind of tactics that I'm I didn't anticipate. Well, I should have anticipated, but I didn't actually see them playing out the way they are right now. Let's assume that we go back in September and they go into a situation on that first day. What can what are the true options that they can get into? Because my understanding, there's like five different things that can actually occur here other than just a vote.

SPEAKER_04

Well, one of the good things is that before the Senate left, they got through a lot of the Senate nominations, they got through the Russian sanctions. So that clears up time in September. Now there are other issues going on. They have NDAA, right? They have the NIL deal. Um, they might do reconciliation 3.0 and of course clarity. So that's roughly four things that are kind of on the docket for September. Um I I I really, Paul, I really think this. Like if we're gonna get a bill across the finish line, we need a bipartisan ethics deal. And it doesn't so much matter what's in it. What matters is there are enough Democrats that support it. I think the yield issue, I think uh the Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act, um, some of the illicit finance issues, some of the um agriculture tax issues, I think those are all secondary. Um so I think there's actually a lot of pressure right now to figure out a deal on that. And if that can't be done, um then I don't think we're gonna get the bill. Um so it really to me comes down to ethics. And I think what we're gonna see in the not so distant future is some of these agencies coming out with rulemakings on crypto, very pro-crypto rulemakings. Obviously, the administration has done a ton of that with the various agencies, but I think that's gonna happen on steroids soon.

SPEAKER_08

So, Johnny, we actually got an update in regards to this just last night. As Eleanor Terrett stated, the SEC will hold an open meeting on Friday at 10 a.m. Eastern Time to consider whether they should issue a release proposing new rules to create tailored offering regime for certain investments involving crypto assets. So again, the CFTC, the SEC, and the OCC, they're the ones who are going to provide guidance in the short term. If you're wondering what happens if the Clarity Act doesn't get passed, those individual agencies will provide guidance and that will be the rules for the time being. Johnny, floor is yours.

SPEAKER_06

Well, Abs, so this is what you see happening. So see, see, see what's happening here, my friend. The SECs, this is Trump, Trump's brilliant in this, right? It's like, hey, you guys can't get your shit together and get this thing voted on. You know, I'm gonna get the agencies to at least push and move forward, at least with some of the rules. Now, granted, the problem with this approach, Abs, you and I know, and we talked about all the time, is it's not long-term, it's not sustainable because the next administration come in and could strip out all these rules, right? So, but but I want our audience to understand that this is good, that at least what Trump's trying to do is signal through these agencies to say, hey, crypto is here, we're gonna put rules in place so you guys can try to move this industry forward and hopefully also indicate to the congressman I want this to happen, guys. Go make this happen so we can solidify this and make this, you know, long-term make it real for real, right? So that's kind of what what's happening here. Now, that guy, he literally said what we've been saying at the end of the day, we need the 60 votes. The only way we're getting 60 votes, the only way we're getting it is we need Democrats to feel comfortable with with passing this thing and getting it to the floor. By the way, a culture vote just means we get it to the floor, so then we can actually vote on it, okay? But either way, it doesn't matter. We're still gonna know if you vote against a culture vote, it's gonna get used against you in the in the in the in this this cycle election. So it doesn't matter if this isn't the so I don't want people to think well if it passes culture, it passes the bill to the Senate. No, that just means it goes to the Senate floor and now it can actually be voted on. But if it can't even get there, then that tells you they're still not happy with the bill, okay? And that means they still want to work it. So that's what that means there. So for me, yes, he's spot on right that we absolutely need the Democrats to feel comfortable with the bill. That's why I'm saying, Abs, these next 30 days are the most important 30 days of if you want to have any kind of power to pick, call your senator. You have some power now because if they start hearing a lot of people calling, they're gonna think twice about, hey, we need to make this thing happen. Not only is the president pushing it and he's been pushing it all year, the the highest congress leaders, you know, the heads of them are pushing it all year. Now I got my own constituents calling me, pushing for it all year. Then you can kind of go back to your somebody say, Oh, Johnny, the donors. Okay, you're right, the donors matter. But if you can go back, pick up the phone, call your donors, say, Hey, you know what? I got all my people telling me they're not gonna vote for me. I'm gonna lose my seat. Do you want me to lose my seat? And then the donors are like, Well, I don't want you to lose your seat. I don't want you to vote for me, but I need you in that seat. So they may, you know, I mean, it gives a little power to capitulate a little bit over here, abs. And by the way, you know, just saying I wore this blue for a very special person. You know, they always like that blue out there, so there's the blue. But the reality is, um, this to me, abs, is the key to making this happen. Is I think keeping the pressure on, you got the president saying, hey, I'm gonna have the SEC put rules out. We got the thune, put the vote September 15th, people's feet are to the fire. Now I think the last thing is people making phone calls going, hey, I want you to make this thing happen. You get those things three going together. I really think we're gonna get a vote, and I'm praying, praying that we get a positive vote and move this thing to the floor.

Well, guys, we're at the bottom of a bear market and we got over 3,800 people here joining us. So just know if you're still engaged, if you're still actively involved in the digital asset space, enjoy it. These bear markets, they only last so long. And oftentimes, in my experience, we look back on days like today and we always say, I wish I would have bought more. But we already have 3,800 live listeners. If you had fun during today's episode, I want to give you a massive thank you. We passed 700 likes on today's program. If you enjoyed the content, smash that like button. It's the easiest, most free way to just help out the channel. And we really do appreciate it. Also, I want to remind you guys if you want to incorporate the same strategies that I'm implementing, I would encourage you to click on the iTrust Capital link below and take advantage of the 1% flat rate that they offer to accumulate as much crypto as possible. If you use some of these other crypto exchanges, they'll charge you 3%, even 4%. And they'll say, Hey, we're gonna sell you XRP for 110. Then you go to complete the transaction, it's a dollar and 12 cents somehow. None of those games are played on iTrust Capital, and that's why I feel so comfortable presenting them as a sponsor, the only sponsor of this program, guys. So check it out. Click on the link below, and you get a $100 funding bonus on the GEC team here, which is just me and John.

And it doesn't just end there, Abs. Not only do you get good, you know, low cost fee, but if you want to end up having tax-free guys, if you want to end up like we know this asset class, abs, it's going up, which means if it's going up, you're gonna end up making a lot of you're gonna end up making a potential lot of money, which unfortunately, if you're in a typical non-traditional, you know, traditional IRA or just a regular account, you're gonna pay taxes. But what I love about iTrust Capital, and what I'm doing, they have the Roth IRA, which means in a Roth IRA, guys, you pay zero taxes. Everything you earn is yours. And that absorb we talk about. It's not what you make, it's what you keep. And there's an opportunity to do that through iTrust Capital. So, guys, click the link below. Not only do you get an opportunity to, you know, we'll get a hundred dollar donation, but you will be able to keep everything you earn. Totally.

And I like this comment here. The capital architect says, for the first time I bought XRP, that was back in 2021 for a dollar and 10 cents. It's crazy how we're under 90 cents today, lol. Still stacking, though. I'm in the same group for the record. I purchased my first XRP in 2019 and I think it was 20 cents, maybe 24 cents on Coinbase. I still have the transactions I can I can report on this, guys. This is what I think is so interesting, Johnny. He said XRP was a dollar and 10 cents in 2021. Think about everything that's happened over the last five years. The lawsuits over, the ETFs are live, the stable coin exists, the tokenization narrative, and we're below that. That to me screams opportunity. And that's how I want to wrap up today's episode. We love you guys, we appreciate you all. It is a sunny day in Boston, Massachusetts. So I'm gonna go out, touch some grass, hug some family, maybe even get a beach day in on this Tuesday. Time will tell, my friends. But we love you guys. We appreciate you all. Have an amazing day, and we'll see you all in the next. So if you're looking to implement the same strategies that we do here on Good Evening Crypto, I would encourage all of our listeners to click on the Merlin link below and sign up for iTrust Capital as well.
