You're all gonna be part of the worship service this morning, okay? That sounds good? Let me all look at me like what? Let's let's all get our hands up like this. Just like this, right? And we're gonna set the tempo for the first song, okay? All of us together, right? Just like this. There we go. Beautiful, beautiful. So we we go over this all the time. And you find that the gospel is simple. Right? And religion likes to complicate the gospel. Right? That's the enemy. The enemy complicates it. Religion says do. Jesus says done. So this song is just that good. He says, I got the joy of the Lord inside of my soul. I can't hide it anymore. I gotta pray. Like do you have the joy of the Lord inside of you and you just like can't hide it anymore? You know what I'm saying? Just right? Is it not awesome to know Jesus? Right? He did exactly what he said he was gonna do. He was exactly who he said he was. And he is and forever will be exactly who he is, amen. Alright.

We can do it again because he is just that good. If there's one thing that you leave with today, I hope it's that you know that he is just that good. That's worth it. Same with this. You know, I heard it said one time that we are the most connected with the rest of creation that we are worshiping. The trees were made to grow and take out things, breathe out oxygen. That's what they do. They're created to do that. And they do what God commands them to do. Amen. The bird flaws in the air. It does it because that's what it's commanded to do. Amen. We come together with a body of believers that we lift up by the name of Jesus because that's what we're commanded to do. So right now, in this moment, we're supposed to. And the Father saves us and silences all Jesus. Because there was the church. But they were doing it in spirit of that's what it's about. But I want to ask you really quick. What is the father's mind?

That was awesome. They're brand new. They're learning how to serve. This is our news, learning how to serve. All right. So we always say when we get to this part of the service, if you don't want to give, we don't want you to. Because we want you to be comfortable. Because God likes a cheerful giver. Cheerful giver. That's right. And this is part of worship because God uh wants your tithing or your offerings as a sign that you trust him, that you're money with a Father. And so that's what we do at this point, but I don't want anybody to feel pressure at all. None at all. So let's pray over our offering, Heavenly Father. We come before you this morning. God, we thank you so much for today. We thank you for the gift of today, God, that you give that. And we thank you for each and every person that's gathered in this report. Today, as we take up the offering, I ask that you bless those that give those that don't give God. And I ask that you bless the giveaway. Lord that thank you, my God, for them, that the reports will last longer, that their appliances would last longer. God that blessings would be poured back upon them a hundredfold, God. This morning, I thank you and I love you as we come before you in Jesus' name. Amen. So today's a special day. I want to take just a minute to say happy Mother's Day to every single woman in this room. Every single woman in this room, right? Because we have natural mothers, we have adoptive mothers, we have spiritual mothers. So everybody that is 18 and older today, we celebrate with you and we say happy mother's day. And give our mothers a hand this morning. Okay. There's a big difference. She did a lot more tonight. Um, so what I'd like to do is I'd like to back up. We've had some baptisms. We did some last August and we did one last June, and then we had six of them just last week. The week before last. I can't remember. Last week? Yeah. So I want to give out some baptism certificates this morning. Now, I will tell you, Satan has fought us tooth and nail about this service today, okay? Fall us tooth and nail. So charity um ran these off, and we were writing on them yesterday. And when we started laminating them, it kept eating them. So we decided that Charity would go home and print some more of her printers off work. Alright? So we came up here to start practicing praise and worship and the system blew up. Okay? So that gives you a little bit of how Satan has called us this morning. But you know what? The winner is always God. It's always God, right? So we're gonna start with baptism. But let me tell you, if I do not have a baptism certificate for you, I'm still going to say your name. If you would still stand so that everybody can recognize you. Baptism is a big step because that is uh burying yourself and you're dead to your old sins and you're raised to new life in Jesus Christ. So now we've we have a thing here called next steps. And what we do is it's usually I try to do it all in a one-day thing, okay? And what you do is you learn about the church of God and you learn about our doctrine and what we believe, and then I give you a personality test. Those are really cool to see what you're here to as far as service, and then you know what areas of the church that you're more comfortable serving in. So people that have gone through this, Diana Whitmont. I'll give it three. Oh, it's Julie Mark, but Julie's not here, okay? So y'all tune in. What you see is church membership. Once you manage the next step, you become a member of the church. Oh, that was really silly, though. All right, so who's this? All right, we're gonna start with the babies. I'm gonna ask for um Caitlin and John and little Johnny. Y'all, this is my first friend, so yeah, it's my first brand. And we are dedicating little Jonathan David. Oh, well, mine had a little bit of a so this morning, what we're doing is we're having a baby dedication. And I got to thinking about it, and a lot of our people in the church are newer Christians, newer people, and when they were little, they really didn't have an opportunity to dedicate their children. So I have opened this up today to 17 and under. We're gonna dedicate all of our kids that their parents want them to be, and they haven't already been dedicated. We're gonna start with little Johnny. So this morning, I ask if you will stretch your arms up this way. Brian, come on up. Let's pray over Johnny. Heavenly Father, God, I come before you this morning. I thank you, God, for the precious that we have to do, Johnny. God, I ask that you would just let this light God. I pray that you would work as you walk through this light of God, that he would be encouraged for you. Thank you for giving him to them, that they may serve God, and that they may raise this child, Lord, in your pattern, in your shadow, in your walk, in the path that you lay before your God, that we anoint them, and we have to be a blessing of life. In the name of Jesus. Amen. So we're gonna dedicate Lexi this morning. Well the word of it. Um, all right. Heavenly Father, God, we come before you this morning and we bring Lexi to you, God. We thank you so much, and we give you the blessing of Lexi. And God, we ask that as you pray, Lord, you give your hand upon our guide or direct for the past, and we go. And Father, we would chelsea and carry it, Lord, that they are charged with raising. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

All right. All right. So we're going to pray over these, and I ask all of you to stretch your arms this way. These are the future of our church, guys. And we need to raise them in the love of Jesus Christ and teach them the Bible and what Jesus says. And teach them in this world where they come against all kinds of pressures at school every day, and the world tries to put one set of rules in their mind when we know that God's rules are what matters, right? So let's pray for these this morning. Heavenly Father, we come before you this morning. We thank you for each and every child that we have up here this morning, God. I pray that your hands would rest mightily upon each and every one of them. And Lord, that you would bless them, that you would guide their paths, that you would help them to grow in your word and in your knowledge, God, so that they can go out into the world and Lord follow the commission and make disciples wherever they go. We praise you for each and every one of them. I also pray for their parents, God, for godly wisdom to rest upon them, God, as they raise the children that you've entrusted them with. Father, help us as a church to always be here for them, no matter what they need, God. Whether it's counsel, whether it's love, whether it's happiness and joy, God, help us as a church to support each and every one of them, God. In the mighty precious name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

We have uh moms that are natural moms and moms that are adopted moms and moms that are spiritual moms, and all are so equally important in raising the kids of the church, God. I pray your blessings upon them. I pray your strength, your patience upon them. I pray your wisdom and your knowledge upon them, God, as we go forth and raise the children, God, that you have blessed our families with. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
