What's going on guys? It's the Godmother. Welcome to another week of Let's Talk Music with Me, The Godmother. And today's guest is someone very special. His name is Curtis Brooks, aka Mr. Florida. I know you've heard of him because we've all heard of him. Everyone in South Florida has heard heard of Mr. Florida. He didn't get that name for nothing. So make some noise, get a round of applause, get your cafecito, and I hope and I hope that you are ready for the most amazing and fun-filled life of the evening of the week of the month. Alright, Mr. Florida. When you are ready, let's keep up the day.
SPEAKER_00We did it, guys. We did it, we did it, we did it, we did it.
SPEAKER_01I'm happy you made it. Let me see your shirt. Let me see your shirt. Mr. Florida and the house. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. First of all, welcome to the live. Thank you so much for joining my show.
SPEAKER_02Oh, no problem at all.
SPEAKER_01So how are you feeling this Wednesday, this hump day?
SPEAKER_02I am blessed.
SPEAKER_01Amen. God is good. So, alright, so this is how we're gonna do this. We're gonna do 10 levels with Mr. Florida, aka Curtis Brooks. Well, it's actually Curtis Brooks, aka Mr. Florida. Alright, so if you have any questions for him, drop it in the comments and I will ask him and we're gonna get this live going. Are you ready? I'm ready, I'm ready. God is good. Alright, so level one. For those meeting Mr. Florida for the first time, who is Curtis Brooks Beyond the Brand? And what do you want people to know about the man behind the name?
SPEAKER_02First off, I love the Lord.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_02He comes first. Uh-uh. I'll put God first for everything. And uh what you see is what you get. I mean, always busy. Uh there's so many different opportunities. You know, when they come, you whenever the opportunity presents itself, you got to, I done learned over the years, you gotta grab it right then if it's the right opportunity. You know, uh busy, busy, busy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Oh, I see that. I'm one of your biggest fans. I am definitely one of your biggest fans. When I when I met Mr. Florida in person, I felt like I already knew him because I had been following him, and I said, I told him I said, I'm one of your biggest fans because I tune in and your channel is just so fun. You're always outside, you're always doing something, you know. Um, and I'm sure, well, you tell is that how you got the name Mr. Florida?
SPEAKER_02Or everybody because I started, you know, uh, it was a joke with this. And they took it, and man, years and years ago, they just start. I walk up places, people just start calling me that. Yeah, yeah, they just started calling me Mr. Florida, Mr. Florida, Mr. Florida shit. Uh and it's all positive, so I take it all, you know, and then I'm gonna put on for the whole state. Let's go.
SPEAKER_01And you definitely do, you definitely rep us really well. Thank you, thank you. But on that, all right, so let's go to level two building the brand. Mr. Florida has become more than a nickname, it's a business and a movement. How did that vision begin and when did you realize it was bigger than just music?
SPEAKER_02Oh man, I gotta say, down y'all way down in Miami Breeze, Breeze 305, or JT Mining. Man, they put you cannot be around greatness and not do nothing. They pushed me, uh they was in my ear, taught me a lot, taught me a lot. Uh when I kept hearing people come up to me and saying, You your biggest critic, and I'm like, what you talking about? Man, flawed the shit is real, like, man, we love it. I mean, all colors. And when I really knew it was real, when I had pastors, because at first I was kind of embarrassed to say, you know, don't curse that, like really curse. Like, and uh, it actually don't say, you know. I was kind of embarrassed. Yeah. Talk to my mom, and then when I had one of the a couple of the pastors in church, people come up to me and was like, I love that Florida ish. Oh, you know, y'all, you know. And I was like, huh? That's when I kind of really knew it was that it was it was real, like, and it, you know, started as a joke.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and now it's like a brand. You cannot come to Florida without knowing who Mr. Florida is. You're gonna see him in every event, anything that represents South Florida, we we know that we're gonna see you, and you're like a staple. You're it's like it's gonna happen, and that's amazing.
SPEAKER_02I thank God, you know. I never could imagine half of the stuff that's going on. But I really thank God. And for good people, for people that even placed around in my life.
SPEAKER_01Amen. You know, and if you're joining us right now, make sure you share this live and tell your friends to come on and join us. And if you have any questions, go ahead and drop it in the comments, amen. All right, let's go to level three CEO mentality. You're the CEO of multiple companies. What inspired you to become an owner instead of depending solely on the music industry? And what advice would you give artists who haven't made that shift yet?
SPEAKER_02Hmm, you gotta, you definitely gotta, you gotta take it serious. Don't wait as long as I did to start taking it serious. You gotta take it serious. And what I have learned, everybody that's very, very successful, you gotta have a team. It don't have to be so big, or but you can't do it by yourself. You've got to have a team. It could be a small team, yeah most of the small teams is bigger than the big teams, but it you gotta have a team. People that believe in you, people that push you. If if if it ain't the right people that don't believe in you, man, give them wrong.
SPEAKER_01I agree with that 100%. 100%. You know, one of the things that we were taught at a young age, my father used to always tell us it is better to have uh 50% of a hundred, eighty percent of a hundred, than to have zero percent of a hundred. You know, like invest in getting um a team, and it doesn't have to be big, like you're right. A solid five. Um, I was raised in the solid five, you know, five people in your team each playing a role, you know, and that that's how you get your first million, amen. Amen to that. Alright, let's go to level four Florida culture. You've represented Florida for years. What makes Florida's music culture unique? And what do you think the rest of the country still doesn't understand about Florida artists?
SPEAKER_02You don't never know what you're gonna get. A song, man, a song I love, I'ma just let me put that in up. I love artist development. I didn't know I was wearing these different hats with my brother, uh juicer producer Death Row Records. Uh man, I did not know it. Artist development, I love it because you get to come back and see them raised on these levels, and you be like, what? Can't even sit in your seat. But you never know what you're gonna get. Prime example, look at Young Miami song.
SPEAKER_01Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_02Spend that.
SPEAKER_01Spend that, yep.
SPEAKER_02She's speaking some real-ish, but at the same time, everybody loves it all over the world, not just the United States, not just Florida no more. It's all over the world. All over the world, worldwide. You never know what you're gonna get with a Florida artist.
SPEAKER_01Facts.
SPEAKER_02You never know.
SPEAKER_01That's facts, and I love I love that you touched on um artist development. Have you um experienced, have you gone through artist development?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I never I that's what I was saying. I didn't know I was I'm gonna say this, juice nail, they'll be done taught you some stuff and train you some stuff. Even I learned a lot from JT and Breeze and a few more, it's too many of the list, but man, artist development. I didn't know I was doing it with these younger artists. Yeah, you know, they come up to me, ask me things, and go in the studio, we'll be in the studio with them, and what you think about this or this or that? Or they had one rapper, I ain't gonna say his name. Uh man, he was he was he was rapping, but he kind of sounded like somebody else. Yeah, but then when I talked to him and have a conversation with him, and I told him, I said, No, man, you gotta rap how you talk. I said, Where you from? He said, I'm from Florida. I say, Where you from? He said, I'm from Florida. I said, You see how you talking? Then I say, How you say orange? He said, Orange? I say, Orange. And we went back in the booth. Who was actually working on a song at the time? Got a few of them actually, just been busy. Took him in there, he killed it. Then he hurt himself, he couldn't start jumping around. Everybody couldn't J-Rolls, I mean, it was like, what? And now to hear them, probably what, a year later, two years later, man, they killing it. Him and a few more artists. I just took one artist and said, Yes, yes, and it's just the talk, rap like you talk. Don't stop trying to be somebody else. I know we're inspired by a lot of artists and this and that, but that's one reason why I love it. I didn't know I was doing it. Yes, he snuck it in on me, but I've been doing a lot of artist development, even on these little young artists out on the uh streets. There's so many good artists.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02But be you, don't try to be another superstar that's already there, another artist. Be you, your YouTube voice is gonna be different.
SPEAKER_01Amen. So we're gonna go ahead and give a shout out to Juice, the producer, to uh JT, and all the people that have invested into you because we can definitely see it, and we definitely want to encourage every single artist that's watching this. Go through the development phase. Your artistry is not meant to be rushed. Artistry is not meant to be rushed. Slow down, get the proper, get the proper people on your team, and get the proper development so you can have longevity in this industry. Amen. And keep and keep God first. Keep God first. I love the comments. Keep God first, amen. We always do.
SPEAKER_02That's the number one thing, God first, amen.
SPEAKER_01And I love that you mentioned your pastor, and that um, you know, when when God calls us to do something great, he always puts spiritual leadership in front of us, you know, he'll put with us because God doesn't send us on these journeys alone, you know, and when we are called to move in God's favor or in God's behalf, we're never called to do it alone. Just like Jesus had his 12 disciples, you know. Um, we when we are called, we're called to move with our tribe and our people. And and then he always places, God is so good, he always places pastors, ministers, spiritual leaders that will pray over us, that will direct us, that will guide us, you know, and even when we feel like, you know, like you said, the the the Florida-ish, you know. I I I just uh I just had a Bible study with Clean Face, a minister clean face, and then I had I had said to him I had and he his energy through the roof when he touches.
SPEAKER_02I love my bro face, man. Hey, uh go ahead, my bad.
SPEAKER_01No, and no, it's cool because one of the things that we talked about was when God transforms our hearts, you know, we're not called to be perfect. God doesn't call us to be perfect, he calls us to surrender, he calls us to give our gifts and our hearts to him. And one of the things that I struggled with has always been cussing, because I'm from Miami, you know what I'm saying? So I have a potty mouth, like every time I'm covering my mouth, I'm literally trying not to say an F-bob or something, you know, because I'm from the South, you know, and I have older brothers and older sisters, and we was outside, you know. So it's been it's funny because a lot of people will tell me, like, aren't you a minister? Like, but I'm like, but that's that is the beauty, and when God calls you, he doesn't call you to say, Hey, be a perfect. No, he calls us to surrender and to give him, we give God our our you know flaws, and and we put it in his hands. And look, when I started this podcast, I used to have a swear jar, a swear jar, you know, yeah, because I couldn't go through a live, you know, this is like four years ago, you know. But now I can get through a live, amen. All right, let's go to level five. The business of music. Many artists chase fame before ownership. What's one business lesson you learned the hard way that completely changed how you move today?
SPEAKER_02Like with I would take probably some like uh with the branding, like of the I went to I read a lot the seasons of color, like say you selling shirts today or shorts, uh hats. If you, you know, and you got all these people, people, people, they hitting up other people, man. You know they want this color, they want this color, they want this color. You gotta stick to the business plan of okay, this is what I'm bringing out for the season, yeah, and that's what it's gonna be.
SPEAKER_01Yes. Stick to the plan. Stick to the script. Stick the plan, stick to the script. Yeah, stick to the plan.
SPEAKER_02And wait, and basically let it's always best to have somebody else handling that. That's when I was talking about that team. Let on that part of the business, let somebody else handle that. Yeah, you don't want to be in direct contact with all the customers, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah. I agree with that one hundred thousand percent. It's very difficult. You know, I went through similar with the show. Um, with um when I started Let's Talk Music, my season, my first season, I I only had 12 slots. I made 12 slots for 12 guests, you know. But the guests filled up so fast, you know, and and it's crazy because then um people start saying, Well, just add, you know, three more. And I said, No, stick to the script, you know. So now my season three is already, you know. I said, okay, now I'm gonna have to just add another season. That you know, and that is the beauty of sticking to the script. You I I love what you're saying because a lot of times, you know, we'll get caught up in the momentum of what's going on, and we forget that we created that plan and that structure for a reason. And when we follow the structure, we tend to be more blessed.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so you gotta you gotta stick to the plan. It's the same as with that what I said. Know your know your worth, know your value, know what you bring to the table. I like that and Walmart ain't changing their prices. Facts at the end of the day.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I know that's right. I know that's right. Alright, let's go to level six. Leadership. People often see the wins, but not the responsibility. What does leadership look like when people are depending on you? And how do you handle the pressure that comes with being the boss?
SPEAKER_02People from the outside looking in and see, oh man, Florida having many having so much fun. Look at them, it's that. But they don't see the yeah, I don't go to bed at one o'clock and one thirty and two o'clock in the morning. I try to get a nap when I get off work. They don't see that. Man, for what, five, six years now, I think. I don't get a break at work because I'm trying to eat like this, but I got both of my phones and my iPad at work or at the break table because I still gotta get this stuff done. And first 15-minute break, oh, I'm doing this, doing that, doing that. Yeah, lunch home, same thing. I'm eating, missing my mouth and all, but I'm getting this done.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Stuff that, you know, they don't see that all. Man, they don't see the sacrifice of the cost of what things cost to go. It costs to be a boss. It costs to be a boss. Like they don't see it. Uh the sacrifices, the losses, the promotion. The promotion, if you got a brand or anything, the promotion is you're gonna spend $10 to $20,000, $10 to $50,000, I think it is, on promotion in your first year or two, two to three to years or something like that. Man, it's it costs.
SPEAKER_01It definitely costs to be the boss. And let me tell you, every time that, and I know, like my brothers, he always says, Man, it costs money to be outside. It costs money, it costs money to be outside, you know, and so and then when you step out, I know it costs money because every time I see you, you know, you look like money, you know what I'm saying? And so I think I think that's the that's the one thing that people don't understand, you know. Um, or a lot of people, some of course do, but those that is like, hey, these are strategic moves, you know what I'm saying? Uh people that move with strategy, they tend to go further, you know, because it's like hey, I'm not just outside to be outside, you know what I'm saying? If I'm outside, I'm you know, I'm doing something, amen. And that's how we stay alive too and stay out of you know, bad places is by strategic moving, you know, things like chairs, not chuckles. Yeah, amen to that, amen to that. And if you're now joining the life, thank you for joining us. Give us a heart, give us a like, give us a share. Amen. Amen. All right, let's go to level seven legacy over popularity. As you've grown, what have you had to sacrifice to protect your peace, your business, and your future?
SPEAKER_02Oh man. It was some people. I had some people that I thought was was them people. Within them people. I watch it over and over again, Alan Iverson's speech, when he says he's so glad that y'all showed y'all self. You know, I still love him. I'm not love loss. But uh what people think they see a lot, they they change on you. They always say you change. Right. I never change, I'll still be the same today with 50 mil, I'll still be the same. You just probably see a few more cars and clothes. But the people, and it it's a hurtful thing too, but it's a it's a growing process too. You know, I'd rather you do it now than later. The people, uh man, you gonna a lot of people are looking to see. Oh, it's it's it looks all fun and all is so much behind it with hurt, hurt for things, you know. Like you gotta have tough skin though in this business.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02If you ain't got tough skin, you don't even come.
unknownFacts.
SPEAKER_02You gotta have tough skin.
SPEAKER_01Facts.
SPEAKER_02You got to.
SPEAKER_01That is real. I mean, and how do you how do you personally deal with the loss? Like when you lose somebody that you thought was in your team or was your people and they betray you or they, you know, they show their faces. How do you mourn that loss?
SPEAKER_02Um my mama always tells me, she says, don't don't get ran over, but you still show love. She said, Don't change who you are.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02God first, he seals everything. You know, God seals everything. He's He's so amazing. She said, but don't change who you are. She said, I know a lot of times you want to change who you are. We had a we had long talks every day. We had church on the phone every day.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Uh I pray, keep him first, and I stay buried in my work.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So I don't even have time to think about.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02You know, to be honest, some something or somebody that doesn't even matter to the bigger picture. Exactly. Stay focused.
SPEAKER_01You can tell that you have a relationship, not a good relationship, not only with God, but with your mother. You know, I have seen you post um something about you know having a conversation with your mom, and I thought that was so beautiful because I believe that those are the conversations that get us through. You know what I'm saying? When when things are hard, you know, and and you have no one else to go to. Sometimes, in and my father and my mother taught us this at a young age, you know, we don't have anybody, we have God, you know, because He's the one that gave you the vision, He's the one that gave you your gift, he's the one that gave you your calling, your purpose, all of those things. So a lot of times in our lives, where we mess up, you know, is thinking that we can give our sorrows or our pain to someone else. And because what they do is they use it against us, they they they look at us as weak, they take our weakness, and and then we and we're like, why would he do this? And my father always says, Well, why did you open your big fat mouth? That's what my dad always says. He's like, Well, you exercise your American right to shut the F up. You know, and I had to learn that the hard way because one, I'm a woman, and two, I'm Latina, so you know and my daddy's like, shut the f up, shut up. You know, and my mom, we said, Okay, now, now I be I became blessed when I stopped when I stopped yapping and I started praying. And and instead of going to the next man or going to somebody else and telling them I feel alone and I feel scary and I feel this, I would go and I get on my knees and I say that to the Lord. God, I'm broken. Lord, I don't I feel this, Lord, and I would cry and I'd cry. And then in that and in that, the Lord would lift me. And I and I once I get it out, I'm like, oh, it's out. It's done. It's done. Look at that. I didn't need a therapist, I didn't need a friend.
SPEAKER_02I was some of these people now they be thinking, Oh, he said, Yes, I'm a very nice guy. I come from the streets, though. I was a nice guy in the streets, but I come from the streets.
SPEAKER_01Facts. Never forget that, you know?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, never forget where you come from.
SPEAKER_01Amen. Yeah. But now, you know, we are on our mission, and then I think a lot of people, they'll take that silence. I've gotten that a lot from people. We're like, oh, you don't talk no more. It's like, because I don't have any reason to talk to anybody who's not in my lane. If you're not on my train with me, if you're not I'm not wasting my time in the name of Jesus. Amen.
SPEAKER_02I learned that over the last few years. I really learned that, man. Um what a what we talk that's a waste of time.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. If we're not talking money, I could have been doing something else. Facts. I agreed, agreed with that. Amen. Amen. Let's go to level eight. Faith and purpose. Every successful person has moments that almost broke them. Was there ever a time you questioned whether to keep going? What kept Curtis Brooks moving forward when quitting would have been easier?
SPEAKER_02When I go, there's a lot of times we wanted to quit. I was I was telling my brother that's my god brother. Uh hey. I say, bruh, DJ, look. He was like, what's wrong? He could tell me something wrong. He looked, we got to fuss once a week or twice a week. We gotta fuss. And uh he I say, man, I'm just gonna quit all this because it, you know, I'm just gonna stop. He said, how you gonna quit? I said, what you mean? I said, I'm just gonna leave it all alone. I'm gonna just leave everything alone. He said, you can't quit nothing that uh you always done all your life. Yeah, he said, it's just public, not global, like. And I went to thinking. I said, you know what? I have always done this. I remember people used to make, used to laugh at me for going live on Facebook when they first started it. I just thought it was so cool that you can see what I'm doing right now, like on the news. Yeah, I never knew it would take it where it's at now.
SPEAKER_01Amen. Right. Pioneer, pioneer mentality. Yeah. Pioneer mentality. But you know what it also, it's also because street code, you're just like my brothers. You know, I I'm not gonna talk a lot. I'm not, I'm not a yapper. I don't, you know, I don't so sometimes I can well a million times I can show you better than I can tell you. You you know that I don't gotta really say nothing. Sometimes I just gotta turn my camera on and let you see what my 24 looks like.
SPEAKER_03You know?
SPEAKER_01And that is the beautiful, that is the beautiful thing about lives, you know. Um, and even this platform, this platform was created because I decided, like you, okay, let me show you, you know, let me show you better than I can tell you. And and I'm so I feel so blessed to even be on this platform with TikTok. Wow you know, and God is good, he's using us to do big things, Mr. Florida, for real, for real. And I can't wait to see you in Orlando. I'm ready for the O'Connor. We are we are gonna we are gonna turn up. Adrian was so excited that you were coming because he thought he was gonna have to be around just me.
SPEAKER_02I'll be right there with a good time.
SPEAKER_01He was excited. He's like, Alright, we're gonna have a good time. I'm like, we're gonna have a good time, amen. God is good. Alright, let's go to level nine. The mentor. You've accomplished a lot, but success isn't only about what you build, but also about who you build. If a young artist or entrepreneur walked up to you today with talent but no direction, what are the first three things you tell them to focus on before they ever think about fame or money?
SPEAKER_02First, I'm gonna tell them like I tell all them now, keep God first.
unknownGod first?
SPEAKER_02Think of thing. It's a whole lot of artists that's good, but what makes you different? What makes you gonna stand out? What can you keep doing? What's your drive? You know, and I preach that all the time. Uh number two, stay out of trouble. Keep your name clean. Don't nobody wanna deal, don't no label wanna deal with an artist with headaches.
SPEAKER_00That is like no headaches.
SPEAKER_02Yes, jumping out a lot of money with headaches.
SPEAKER_01So we have keep God first, stay authentic, or figure out what makes you unique, what makes you different, and stay out of trouble. Yeah, because nobody wants to make an investment out of a hard-headed person that they can't make their money back from. That is a really that is really that'll those are really good three ones. Alright, now we have reached the godmother level. Okay, how old are you?
SPEAKER_0246.
SPEAKER_0146? Okay, so in 30 years, you're gonna be 76. Okay, that's my father's age. This um this got this level came from my father because my father, he's now well, he's 73, but he's going through his ages where all he's talking about is his legacy. You know, he wants every time we speak on the phone, he's just reminiscing about these stages of his life, his 40s, his 50s, he's he's talking a lot about it. So I want to know at 76 years old, okay. Now we are in your living room, okay, and you are about to do your Netflix documentary at 76, and you're about to tell the world who what you've done, what you've accomplished. So I want to know two things. I want to know who is in that room with you, who are you um sitting in front of, telling them your legacy, and what are they gonna say about you? What are you gonna say about you?
SPEAKER_02You say, who in the room with me? Yes, first off, god don't be in that with me. Oh man.
SPEAKER_01And you say, Who are you passing this legacy down to? Who are you saying it to?
SPEAKER_02Oh man, that's what I'm watching now to see who's gonna be worthy.
SPEAKER_01Wow, that's a tough. Yeah, wow, that's real. That's real.
SPEAKER_02I'm watching now to see who's gonna be, you know, worthy that'll keep it going.
SPEAKER_01Amen. Amen. And that's that's honestly that's one of the biggest um things that men deal with today, you know, like who who am I, who's gonna be beside me, you know, when my greatness is, you know, and that's why everybody who's watching this, you know, make yourself useful. You have to make yourself useful because the reality of it is that your your your train is going, your train is non-stop. There is there are no stops for where you're going, and the person that decides to jump on that that train with you has to be worthy, has to be willing, you know, and has to be ready. It has to be ready. Now, what are we gonna say about you in 30 years?
SPEAKER_02Uh man, it ain't how you start, it's how you finish. That's how I love that saying. And like my mama say, may the life that you live speak for you. It's gonna tell everything. My life's gonna tell everything.
SPEAKER_01Amen.
SPEAKER_02I love that. You're gonna love 76.
SPEAKER_0176? You're gonna make it. Yeah, we're gonna be up there talking like what? Listen, you're gonna be outside with it. And listen, and let me tell you from experience, okay. My father is 73, his wife is younger than me. So, you got time. Listen, all of this to tell you, all of that I'm telling you, is that when you get to a certain level in life, you know, you will have the options to have happiness, you know, because for men and women, and I'm not gonna get into that conversation too much, but it's different, you know, dating and and marriage is is different for men than it is for women, you know. And I see that with you know, just alone my father, you know, he's 73, and his wife is younger than me, and they've been together for 15 years, so it's not like you can say that nothing. No, they've been solid for 15 years, you know. But what happens is that women naturally will attract, you know, or will fall in line with a man who's got his stuff together, who knows what he wants, you know, and who's moving in his purpose. At any age, a woman is gonna shut up, sit down, and be like, Can I sit in this train with you? You know, and in the name of Jesus, you know, God is good, and you'll have that because you deserve that, you know. Definitely, amen. Amen. We have reached the last of all my levels. Now, before um, is there anything that you have coming out where you're gonna be at, or anything that you want to share with the audience where to find you? Let's start there, where to find you.
SPEAKER_02Oh, uh Instagram, Mr. Flawda underscore, uh, Facebook, Curtis Brooks, Mr. Florida, uh, TikTok, Flauta, uh, YouTube, Flawda. Flauder, uh Threads, Mr. Florida. That's how you find me, y'all. Uh, everything pretty simple and pretty pretty much the same, other than Facebook. Uh man, what we got coming up? Um, oof. This weekend I got two events. Oh boy. On the same day.
SPEAKER_01Let's go.
SPEAKER_02There's a lot coming up. Y'all just stay tuned. Definitely, definitely stay tuned for Orlando. We got yes, Mr.
SPEAKER_01Florida and I we're gonna continue. This is only the beginning. I told them I wanna be, I wanna be a part of your journey when you're 76. I want to be in there, you know, championing right next to you. Like we did it. Everything that we said we was gonna do, we did it in the name of Jesus, you know. And um, is it okay if I say a prayer to close the live?
SPEAKER_02Definitely.
SPEAKER_01Okay, let's pray, guys. Father God, we want to thank you right now for allowing us to have this conversation, Lord. I want to ask you, Holy Spirit, right now that you touch the lives of everyone that's watching this, Lord, that they may feel your presence, that they may see that you are with us and that you are also with them, Lord. I ask you, Holy Spirit, that you open all the doors that need to be opened, that you close all the doors that need to be closed for Curtis Brooks, Lord. I ask you, Holy Spirit, that you protect him through this calling, that you give him all the things that he needs in order to be successful, Lord. Place all the right people around him, remove all the people that don't need to be there, Lord. And I ask you, Lord, that you continue to move us forward in your mission, on your journey, and that we may succeed. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. I really appreciate you, Mr. Florida. I appreciate all of you guys in the comments, everyone that watched this live. Um, it's gonna be out on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, iHeartRadio, iHeart, all of that. So thank you for joining us tonight and Mr. Florida. I'll see you in Orlando. We're gonna turn up.
