Hype Check And Visual Concerns

So here's the thing.

My reaction to that trailer. I would say my hype out of 10 before that trailer was probably like a seven and a half to eight. Like, I'm not the biggest Marvel fan. I'm not gonna lie, more of a DC guy. After seeing that trailer, man, I think my excitement's probably at like a six. That trailer really did not do a lot for me. I mean, it showed the stuff that I was expecting it to be. It's showing like the old like people that they're bringing back to get views. And I think that's just so lazy to me. I did like Doom's accent. I did fuck with that to be honest. I wish I heard a little more. And Cyclops, I think, looks really good. Cyclops looks peaks. But like visually, I'm not sure if it has a green tint on it on purpose, or like, or if it's just like gonna look like that, but like just because I don't think it looks that good, to be honest. I think Infinity War and Endgame so far it looks visually better than that.

I I got a second second off that. A lot of the visuals really uh I was kind of looking at him and I was like, okay, this looks a little off, but maybe it's not fully done. Yeah, yeah. I'm just gonna chalk it up to that. Doom looks super cool. Yeah I'm I can't help but try and fish for reasons to be excited for this movie because again, Marvel's been a nothing burger the past, like a post-endgame. Literally, the only thing of substance that has happened is Shuri becoming Black Panther. Otherwise, we haven't seen Shunchi since. Captain America ain't even feeling like Captain America in his own movies or appearances. Eternals fucking forgot about. Bro, Thunderbolts is pretty good. Thunderbolts was good.

This was obviously a spur-of-the-moment thing. They had to change it up because Jonathan Majors, all that stuff.

I can't help but feel that if they kept RDJ like a mystery, being the one that played Doom, it would have made this so much better. Oh my goodness. Like that being the reveal in the theater, that would have been insane. But um, yeah, excitement's at a cool six, maybe seven.
