taken the time to go back to the book of Acts, to see what happened from uh the ascension of Jesus Christ unto the propagation of the gospel throughout Asia Minor and Asia, uh, Europe, North Africa, those are things that man concocted after the church began its downward spiral, after the apostle was taken off the scene, men began to conquer and to divide. 00:07:50.879 --> 00:07:54.079 Uh that is the people of God and break off into sectarian groups. 00:07:54.160 --> 00:07:58.959 And Paul warned about that, how that even after his departure, he said, grievous wolves. 00:07:59.120 --> 00:08:02.160 And uh that's not four-legged wolves, those are two-legged wolves. 00:08:02.240 --> 00:08:02.959 Those were men. 00:08:03.120 --> 00:08:06.399 With apparitcious appetite, grievous wolves --> 00:08:33.759 But it forced men, it forced men, not because of their conscience, uh, but because of the power they had to put you to death if you did not accept what they propagated, it forced men uh oil, and oil came from the olive berries, and so they had to actually cut the olive, uh separate the olive from the tree, and then they would begin to crush those olives and uh get to extract, extract the oil, keep that oil, and that oil is what actually caused the lanterns to look to shine. 00:11:51.120 --> 00:11:53.440 And so that's what they used for light was oil. 00:11:53.519 --> as Paul did those things, uh, of course, the Bible said how Ananias laid hands on a Paul received this natural sight. 00:23:58.079 --> 00:24:05.359 And he was so elated that he actually got a chance
