Join us as the Rey family move into their new home in Southern California. Little do they know the house is already occupied. After coming home one day to find the house in disarray but no signs of forced entry they install a video surveillance system to monitor activity, but nothing prepares them for what happens next.
Since it's October, uh AMC has their Freight Fest, Fear Fest, whatever it's called, whereas nothing but scary movies for the entire month. So uh Freddy vs. Jason was on last night, so I watched that. Um and I actually watched what I consider a cult classic, my favorite horror movie, uh The Lost Boys. I absolutely love that movie. So of course I'm gonna be covering it down the road. So before we get started, let's get into your weekly horror updates this week in horror features. Just off the top, two quick topics. Final Destination 7 is officially in development after Final Destination Bloodlines has become the highest-grossing installment in the franchise's history. New Line may have found its director. Deadline reports that the studio is in final talks with Michelle Blanchard. Blanchard is an up-and-coming director who directed Nightcall. Laurie Evans Taylor will also pin the script. Secondly, the Conjuring Last Rights will be released on digital streaming via premium video on demand, prime video, Apple TV, Fandingo at home, as well as YouTube. That's actually all that I have for this week, anyway. That's uh that's your horror update. So, moving on, welcome back to Chills Thrills and a podcast, our horror community podcast, where we review, break down, and analyze all things horror. This week we'll be diving into the second installment of the Paranormal Activity franchise, and it is obviously Paranormal Activity 2. Before we get started, let's talk development, filming, marketing, as well as box office. Coming after the box office success of Paranormal Activity, distributor Paramount Pictures quickly pursued a sequel. Kevin Routert, director of Saul 6, was slated to direct while Michael Perry was set to write the film in January 2010. Orren Pelley, the writer and director of the first film, was not expected to be directly involved with the sequel, but he approved Perry's story. Days after hiring Groutart was suddenly pulled from the project after Twisted Pictures and Lionsgate used a clause in Groutart's contract to direct Saul 3D, only two weeks away from filming. Pelle, who remained on board as a producer, was ruled out as a viable replacement due to his obligations to Area 51. Brian De Palma and Akiva Goldsman were early candidates for the director's chair. Goldman instead became involved as an executive producer and would help shape the story, while De Palma met with Perry and Jason Blum. Circumstances changed and De Palma moved on, leading to Paramount looking toward Brad Anderson and Greg McLean. By March 2010, Katie Featherston and Mika Sloat were expected to reprise their roles, and by the end of the month, Todd Williams was tapped to direct the film, with production set to begin in May. Production on Paranormal Activity 2 began without a completed script. Three weeks into filming, the footage was said to be disastrous, leading to a writer's room being assembled and production being shut down. Christopher Landon, one of the writers brought in, gave notes on the footage, which prompted a studio executive to hire Landon and another unnamed writer to write half the film. The parascre screenplay failed to satisfy the studio, and one final attempt was made by Landon alone, it was enough to revigorate the production. In a special promotion set up by the film's producers, participants had a chance to win free movie ticket if they were in the top 20 cities to demand the film via Eventful.com. The teaser trailer was shown with the Twilight Saga Eclipse upon its release on June 30, 2010. Cinemark pulled the trailer from several Texas theaters after receiving complaints that it was too frightening. A second theatrical trailer was released in October 2010 and was attached to Devil, My Soul to Take, and Jackass 3D. Paranormal Activity 2 broke the record for the biggest midnight gross for an R-rated film with 6.3 million, beating the previous record holder, Watchmen, by 4.6 million. And it broke the record for the biggest opening for a horror movie of all time. On its opening day, Paranormal Activity 2 placed number one at the box office, making $20 million,000, and it finished with a total of $41,500,000 estimated over the weekend, placing first at the box office. It currently grossed $84,752,907 in North America and $92,759,125 overseas, giving the film a worldwide total of $177,512,032. Now that all of that is out the way, it's time to issue you your spoiler warning. If you have not seen this film, this is where you go check that out first and then come back and join us for the discussion. So with that being said, we have a movie to unpack, so let's get into it. Paranormal Activity 2 opens up with a text on screen that reads, Paramount Pictures would like to thank the families of the deceased and the Carlsbad Police Department. The opening scene, we see Carlsbad, California, with a car pulling into the driveway as a voice of a girl is heard saying, Welcome home, Hunter. This is your house. She greets her dad, Daniel Ray, played by Bret Brian Bolin, who says, Guess who changed the first 15 diapers? This guy right here. So a woman who is Christy, played by Spargoo Graden, who is also the younger sister of Katie from the first paranormal activity. Anywho, she responds, that guess who was in labor for a day, and she points to herself. As they enter the house, they are greeted by Martin, the nanny, played by Vivus Cortez. Daniel takes Hunter on a tour of the house, introducing him to Abby the dog, and then moving on to the fireplace where he says that this is how mommy seduced daddy, and that's how you got here. Taking him into his room and showing him around before taking him into his sister's room, and this is Ali Ray, played by Molly Ephraim. She greets him as brother from another mother. Ali gives him his rules that he's never ever allowed to come into her room unless she invites him, in which case it's going to be the best day of his life. By the way, that's her bathroom, so don't ever go in there. And if you do, don't pee on the seat. Continuing the tour, taking him to the living room that no one ever uses, but shows him his man cave where they'll be watching Chargers games together. A little while later, Katie stops by to see the baby as well as her sister Christy. In case you forgot or simply don't know, Paranormal Activity 2 is mainly a prequel. It occurs months prior to the events of the first movie, and then it acts as a parallel event occurring at the same time, which is why I took notes on each individual date so I can pinpoint which certain events took place in both timelines and as far as um the connectivity of it. In the next scene, everybody is else outside having a cookout, playing in the pool, etc. Allie introduces her boyfriend Brad, played by Seth Ginsberg. Brad is putting on the hat after jumping into the pool, followed by Katie, if it stays on, but he tells her that he didn't want to get it wet while swimming. His head is already wet, but okay. Katie tells Brad that Allie is her only niece, not really, but she thinks of her as her niece. That's she's her step-niece, and she's the evil step-ant. So, not really evil, but she can be evil is her point. And that's a little foreshadowing, but you know. Daniel is now in the pool fighting the pool cleaner, shouting, There can be only one. At this point, we've done a time jump because Hunter is now one year old, and Allie asks Katie, Where's Mika? But Katie tells her that he wasn't up for hanging out. We cut to another scene and we hear Daniel tell Christy to get Abby out of the kitchen so she doesn't get cut on the glass. We then see the entire house has been destroyed, but nothing seems to be missing. Everything just needs to be documented, documented, and the only room that is untouched was Hunter's room. As everybody is cleaning up the mess, Christy takes a moment to acknowledge that the situation is messed up, but Allie tries to get her to see the bright side of things by telling her they didn't take anything. In the next scene, we see two techs come into the house as Daniel explains that the home was broken into, so we, the audience, knows that the break-in was used as a plot device to justify the use of cameras in this movie. The camera tech is explaining camera placement with Daniel as well as the length of that it will record. The camera tech jokingly tells Allie that she won't be able to get away with anything. The camera tech and Daniel continue going room to room discussing options for camera placement. He further explains that the cameras look like motion detectors and have night vision installed in them. So he tells Daniel that he has a sample and goes to show him. A few moments later, the camp camera installation begins. Later that night we get the first text August 7th, 2006, night one. The cameras cycle through each one of the rooms before we see Daniel locking the door as well as Abby sleeping in Hunter's room while he sleeps. We cut to the next morning and Daniel comes out and throws the pool cleaner back in the pool. Back inside, Abby is sniffing and clawing at the basement door. Allie is recording Hunter crawling up the stairs, but in the background, Martine is seemingly chanting or praying as not quite clear in this moment. Later on, Allie runs into Martine in the kitchen, so she asks, What was she doing? And Martine insinuates that there's bad things in the house, so she was getting rid of it. The spirits that is. Allie sums it up that they keep the good ones, in with the good, out with the bad, and Martine agrees. Upstairs, Christy is playing with Hunter as Daniel records when they're suddenly startled by Allie screaming. So Daniel rushes in to see what's going on, only to discover that Allie is flipping out over a turd that was left in the toilet, blaming it on Martine while Daniel jokingly blames her, calling it a stanchulata. A short while later, we see Christy taking a bath, trying to convince Daniel to join her since it's quiet and nobody is home. Daniel asks what time Katie is coming, so she tells him in about an hour or so, telling him that he should definitely pop in. He responds that he doesn't want to smash her, but she quickly comments that she kind of wants him to smash her, so he replies, let him release the Kraken. Then the screen cuts away, so we already know what happened there. Y'all nasty. Get y'all minds out the gutter. What's his movie rated again? Anyway, in the next scene, we see August 8th, 2006, night two, and the timestamp reads 1 32 a.m. We cycle through the cameras of various rooms and there's no activity. Everybody obviously is asleep. We do see the pool cleaner slash vacuum doing its job though. But in Hunter's room, we hear him crying, but Katie is there to take care of him and calm him down. It's the next morning and Daniel is cooking breakfast and everybody is pretty much just enjoying their time together. But suddenly this fucking guy, Micah Mika, pops up with his attention-seeking temper tantrum throwing ass, even though it's currently August, and he doesn't start his bullshit until like mid-September, but still, fuck that guy. The text appears 60 days before the death of Mika Sloat. As he hugs Katie, he asks whose camera is Allie using, but she tells him that it's not hers, which is probably where he got the idea for having the camera to begin with. He approaches Daniel, telling him that he has a bone to pick with him. He tells Daniel he went into Burger King and was tossing his name around and they didn't give him any free food, which is exactly what his title entitled ass would do. But Daniel tells him that he doesn't own every Burger King. After a brief subject change, Katie expresses that she's still trying to ease Mika into the fact that they live together and therefore the house should represent both of them. Mika replies, yeah, but the both of them, like give and take sort of situation. She has her beating thing or whatever it is, and then he has his area. Daniel goes on to tell Mika about the burglary, explaining that there was no sign of forced entry, but whoever it was trashed the whole house. He thinks it was more about vandalism, so he points out to Mika that that thing in the corner that looks like a motion sensor is actually a camera. We then cut to Katie and Christy upstairs in Hunter's room where Katie asks Christy if she's freaked out after the break in. So Christy answers she definitely was. She didn't sleep very well. Katie tells her that she would be freaked out too if somebody broke into her house. Christy explains that they didn't take anything, adding that it seemed personal. It feels like they're always still there. She gets this feeling like when they were little, but doesn't go any further. She stops herself and saying by saying, Never mind. In the next scene, Christy is in the kitchen feeding Hunter while Allie goes to head out, saying that she's going to the mall. Christy now alone is sitting with Hunter, hears light banging that sounds like it's coming from upstairs. So she goes up to find out where it's coming from. So she checks Hunter's room and finds nothing. So as soon as she goes to leave, she hears it again, but this time in Allie's room. So she goes in there and while she's in there, there's um an attachment thing that's hanging from his crib. I don't know what it's called. I have kids, and I still couldn't tell you what it's called. Anyway, it doesn't matter. As she's in the bathroom, it starts spinning, and of course, Christy doesn't know because she's not in there to see it. But as soon as she comes back into the room, it stops. The screen then fades to black. When the screen comes back, we see August 9th, 2006, night three, and the timestamp reads 3 18 a.m. Nothing unusual, just the pool cleaner slash vacuum in the pool. But in Hunter's room, he's wide awake standing in his crib. But that's it, that's all he's doing. The next morning, Daniel comes out and throws the pool cleaner slash vacuum back into the pool. Christy is sitting on the couch with Martin and Allie as she flips through a photo album and she lands on a particular picture, and when she shows it, we see that it's the same exact picture that Mika found burned in the attic. She asks Allie who she thinks that is, and Allie thought it was Christy until she told her that that was Katie. Christy made the same comment as Katie did in the first film, stating that she thought they lost all the pictures in the fire. Later on, Martine's in Allie's room helping her fold laundry, and Allie tells Martine that Christy and her dad are going out, and so is she. She jokes with Martine asking if she's gonna have her boyfriend over and have a party. Martine picks up a picture of Allie and Brad and tells her that he's a boy. He wants nothing more than handsy handsy touchy touchy and saying no to Allie. Allie turns on some music and they have a Gray's Anatomy moment, uh a dance it out moment. Yes, I watched Gray's Anatomy, so I know all about the Dance It Out moment between Meredith and I think it's Christina. Yeah, I think so. Anyway, let me get back on track. That's an ADHD moment. The next scene shows us it's August 11, 2006, night five, and the timestamp is 10.33 p.m. Back to the pool cleaner. I'm only putting emphasis on it because it is a plot point sorta, but not really. The camera continues to cycle through rooms, and we see Hunter asleep in his crib with Abby sitting in his room. Suddenly there's thumping heard, so Martine looks around to locate the source, so when she enters the kitchen, a loud crash can be heard above her upstairs, and it's loud enough to wake Hunter up, causing him to wake up screaming and crying. Martine runs up to get him, and Abby is barking frantically in the direction of Allie's bathroom. Martine grabs Hunter and gets the fuck out of there and immediately starts saging the house. And at that point, Daniel and Christy walk in and she rushes to get Hunter from him while I mean get get Hunter from her, while Daniel insists that she stops, telling her that he's asked her not to do that repeatedly. So after he gets her to put it out, he opens the door to air it out, telling nobody should breathe that in that it is not healthy to inhale. The next morning we see Daniel who apparently has fired Martin, and as she's trying to explain, he tells her that he understands, but he doesn't believe in that stuff. It's freaky. What is it with the men of this franchise? I mean, we'll get there as the franchise progresses, but damn, first we have Mika who's a fucking dickhead, and then you got this dipshit, but Daniel, he isn't as bad, he's actually likable for now. While that's going on, Christy is with Hunter in his room, but he's distracted by whatever is in his room. I know that to be true because I've heard I can't remember where, but I've heard that babies slash toddlers and elderly people are prone to uh spiritual contact, they're more susceptible to it because babies and toddlers obviously are at the start of life, and elderly people are pretty much approaching the end of life, so therefore they're more vulnerable to spiritual contact. Anyway, Hunter walks over to the closet, which was where he was staring at to begin with, but Christy moves him. Later that night in the kitchen, Daniel and Christy are prepping dinner while she explains that she was in the room with Hunter playing and trying to get him to talk, but he wouldn't. He wouldn't focus because he was looking at the ceiling and the mirror. So Daniel reminds her that he's a baby with the attention span of a guppy. So she responds that she guesses, but there was definitely something that he was focused on, and it wasn't her pretty face. Later on, Daniel stops by Allie's room while she's painting her toes, so he jokingly turns the lights off and on. Allie asks him why he fired Martin, and he responds that he didn't like her doing the witchy, weird witchy stuff. So she defends it, saying that it wasn't witchy. It wasn't hurting anybody, it made her feel better, and she wanted to make them feel better. Daniel ignorantly responds that she was slaughtering goats out by the pool. In the next scene, we see it's August 14th, 2006, night eight, and the timestamp shows that it is 2 42 a.m. We get the usual camera cycle of each room with no activity until we cycle to Hunter's room where he's standing in his crib crying. So Christy checks in on him. While holding him, she goes to the window, but then hears a thud behind her, so she takes her attention off of the window to that. But when she gets back to the window, something crashes into it. We cut to the next morning and Daniel is outside and sees sees that it is a bird that crashed into the window. Later that night, we get the usual text reading, August 16th, 2006, night 10, and the timestamp is 328 a.m. And in the kitchen, a pot falls off the ceiling rack where the pots and pans are located. It catches Christy's attention while she's checking on Hunter. So she goes down the stairs to check it out. Once she's down there, she puts the pot back on the rack and takes a quick look out of the window. What is it with her and window? She's literally just standing there, but anyway, it falls back down, so she screams and runs back upstairs. That's what her ass gets. She should have put it back on and took her ass back upstairs. Why the fuck is she staring out the window at 3:30 a.m. for anyways? No one's out there, there's no activity, everyone's asleep. So, okay, we saw the pool when the camera was cycling, so that's empty. And the next morning, Daniel was by the pool tossing the vacuum/slash cleaner thing back in the pool, and that's why I put emphasis on seeing the cleaner in the pool. It comes up briefly later on in the movie. A moment later, Mika is recording Daniel, Katie, and himself admiring the camera, dropping subtle hints at purchasing one. So stating that he may have to replace Katie with it since it has more features. This motherfucker is ignorant and disrespectful as fuck goodness. He then turns the camera on Daniel, saying he best they get extracurricular with it. Him and his fucking obsession with making a sex tape, that shit's fucking sickening. Daniel responds, who has time for that? They have a baby. So Mika asks how him and his brood are doing. So he tells Mika apparently they have a ghost and asks if he knew about that, but Mika replies no, but asks him to elaborate because that's a very strange thing to say. Daniel explains that a couple pots fell off their pot hanger in the kitchen, and Mika responds that, yeah, that's a ghost. Eventually it turns into a whole discussion with Mika asking Katie about it, but she doesn't want to talk about it. Jokingly, Daniel says they used to do seances when they were little kids. Katie doesn't find it funny as they laugh at her. She continues that when her and Christy were little, they got freaked out, but it really was no big deal, followed by they're having a good day. Mika asks Allie how she feels about the ghost situation and she tells him that she thinks it's awesome. Now with the kitchen, Christy asks how could she put it up wrong? It's on a hook. Once it goes up, it's up. Daniel responds that she probably put it on the edge of the top part of the inside of the hook. The fact that it fell a second time probably proves that she put it up wrong both times. Daniel continues asking if she wants him to show her how to put it up. Christy replies asking him why does he have to put the pool cleaner back in the pool every morning for the last week? He answers because it's a pool cleaner and he wants it to clean the pool. She dismisses it asking how it gets out at night, so he assumes one of them takes it out when they go for a swim. So Christy tells him that she doesn't take it out and she asks Allie if she does, but Allie tells her no. Daniel responds, What? So it's crawling out of the pool? Christy doesn't have the answer, so she tells him to check the camera. They check the camera and it seems to be working its way out of the pool by crawling up the side of the wall. Allie and Christy are in disbelief, and even Daniel says that it is weird and that maybe it's set too high, but Christy doesn't think that the settings are off. Allie and Daniel laugh about it when Christy leaves the room. Allie tells Daniel that she doesn't know if the house is haunted, but she hopes that it is. He questions and she responds that it would be awesome. He asks her why would she hope for it to be haunted? She tells him that it would be the coolest thing ever. If there was somebody trying to get through to them, it would be simply amazing. Daniel goes on to say that Christy is obviously not sleeping, and Ali makes a gesture indicating that Christy might be crazy. Daniel asks that her hormones are out of whack and all kooky. She's got some paranoid mom thing going on and she's interpreting them in the wrong way. Allie thinks Christy is seeing it as harmful and dangerous. She then suggests that they should see them as something trying to contact them, adding that they should have a seance. Daniel isn't having it, telling Allie that it's freaky and he doesn't believe in it. So Allie questions why does he think that it has to be bad? So he asks her, how could it be good? But Allie wonders if it is her mom and he offers no response. In the next scene, we see August 18th, 2006, night 12, and the timestamp is 3 14 a.m. Everybody except Hunter is asleep as he stands in his crib. But Abby is only the on the defensive. She senses something because she's growling towards the window, but that's it. Nothing comes of it, and the screen shortly fades to black. In the next scene, Daniel is next to the pool and he calls Christy and Allie over because he wants to show them something. So they walk over and they take a look, and as they nail down, the pool cleaner suddenly pops up. Daniel makes it pop out with the controller in his hand and it startles them. And he laughs, but Christy is pissed and she walks away. Now upstairs, Christy making the bed aggressively tells Daniel that she hates when he doesn't take her serious. So he apologizing, telling her that he does take her serious. He was just trying to lighten things up so they can get back to normal. So he suggests that they could go out. She asks, How is she going to leave leave Hunter when Martine is gone? But he then answers that Allie can watch Hunter. Christy hesitates because of the break-in and all of the weird stuff going on. She doesn't want to leave him alone. For a minute, I was about to say the break-in was a while ago, but it's really not. I went back to my earlier notes and saw that the break-in was around August 7th, and it's currently about August 19th, August 20th, somewhere around that time frame. So the break-in was actually about two to three weeks, two and two and a half weeks ago. So it's actually still fairly recent. Anywho, Daniel tells her that they can't let that affect them because if they do, then the terrorist wins. Christy laughs, so he uses that time to tell her that he misses his wife, the fun wife. Later on, Christy gives Allie the instructions, the emergency numbers, allergies, etc., and reminds her to keep all doors and windows locked, and she heads out. Now at nighttime, Ali is sitting on the couch reading a book, and Brad suddenly comes over, banging on the door, which then startles her. Shortly after we cut to them playing with the Ouija board, because why not, right? It's a supernatural horror film, paranormal film, so that's like the standard for these types of movies. It never fails. The two sit attempting to make contact with no success, but then the planchette starts moving. Ali starts saying Brad's name, but he assures her that it is not him. It begins spelling, going to the letter P, moving over to the letter U, going over to S, circling back to S, and then Ali realizes that it's Brad after all. Brad joking, saying that maybe the spirit wants some pussy. The spirits might be horny at the moment. They resume grabbing the planchette and it starts moving again with Brad swearing that it's not him. This time it spells out H, moves over to U, over to N, and over to T, and then the camera switches to Hunter's room where he and Abby are sleeping. Later that night, Allie asleep on the couch and the TV is on, and it suddenly turns to static. And as we're watching her sleep, there's a shadowy figure that is creeping up on her, starting at her feet and working its way up. The TV's volume increasingly gets louder and louder before something startles her awake. She turns the TV off and goes to head upstairs, but she sees the front door is open, so she closes it and locks it. As she goes back up the stairs, suddenly something bangs on the door, and for whatever reason, she opens the door and goes out to check. So when she goes outside, an unseen force slams the door shut. Now locked out, Ali goes around trying to find a way back inside, but is unsuccessful. That unseen force is now walking up the stairs and into Hunter's room. Slowly, Hunter is being pulled down the um the crib. Eventually he wakes up crying. And as we see Hunter now being pulled up the side of his crib, we cycle through the cameras, and when we see Hunter again, he's out of the crib or walking around. But then he hears one of his toys star playing, and of course, it draws him to the basement door. Either him or the entity opens the door. I'm not sure who opens it. It doesn't, he doesn't look tall enough to reach it, but we, the audience, see that he is reaching for it. I just don't know if he's able to grab it. Hunter stands in the doorway before crawling back upstairs. Christy and Daniel return home. Christy goes up to check on Hunter, but the entity was nice enough to put Hunter back in his crib. Daniel calling out for Allie but receives no answer. Christy tells him that she's not upstairs, but finally Allie walks in and Daniel questions where she was and what happened, and she answers that she got locked out. She continues by explaining someone knocked on the door, so Daniel questions why she would open the door. And if she looked out the window, Allie responds that she did, but didn't see anything. Daniel tells her that if she didn't see anything or anybody, she shouldn't have gone outside because her brother was upstairs by himself. Allie apologizes repeatedly, continuing to explain herself. So Christy asks what happened, and Allie tells her that something slammed the door behind her, adding that she took a nap and heard somebody calling her name and she felt something. Christy asks her if she's sure she wasn't dreaming, so Allie tells her that she wasn't there and she didn't feel it. Daniel tries to rationalize it by saying the wind blew it shut, but Allie responds that there was no wind. She's not lying. All the doors and the windows in the house were shut, and there wasn't even any wind blowing outside. There was no breeze or nothing. But regardless, I bet that haunted house shit isn't funny now. Ali thought it would be awesome until shit starts to get real. Daniel makes it clear that he doesn't want to hear any more of this haunted house crap. That's enough. They are driving him crazy. End of story. And he walks away. Allie explains to Christy that it was similar to when the pots fell. She was taking a nap and something was calling her name. So Christy tells her that she's going to go calm Daniel down and for her to go upstairs and try to go to bed. The next morning, Christy and Allie are in the kitchen, and Daniel comes in and says good morning, but Allie disregards and ignores him, grabs her drink, and leaves the kitchen. Daniel looks taken back as if he didn't go overboard the night before. He sat there and said that they're driving him crazy with the haunted house shit, but he's had three different people tell him something isn't right on three different occasions. Even if you're a non-believer, I would think you should still give some level of consideration to the possibility that something may actively be wrong, or maybe that's just me. Later on, Ali is doing research telling Brad that a site says that if it's really persistent, that it's probably not a ghost, but instead something else, possibly a demon. Brad asks, What's the difference between a demon and a ghost? Ali explains that ghosts are dead people, so it's like human energy, and demons are not human, they're just evil. Brad responds that she's psyching herself out looking online, and he compares it to when his mom thought that she had a flesh-eating disease. She freaked herself out, and that's what Ali is doing. Ali finds something that catches her eye and tells Brad to read the fourth paragraph down. The text reads as, It has been said that if a human makes a bargain with the demon for wealth, power, or any other benefit, they must forfeit the firstborn male. If the debt is not honored, the demon will follow the defaulter and his or her brood until the soul of an infant is collected. Later on, Allie is reviewing the footage, calling it the freakiest thing that's ever happened to her in her life. She is reviewing the footage from the night before and watches the door slam shut. She calls out from Dan calls out for Daniel and shows him the footage in which he responds, Yeah, the wind blew the door close. What when? And nothing is open. You don't even see a breeze outside. So what when? Even Ali says that there is no wind, but Daniel argues that it's happened to him. The wind comes from the back, and when the windows are open, it slams the door shut. Allie counters that if it's inside the house and nothing else is open, Daniel gets mad telling Allie to turn the camera off and stop messing with the system. I take back what I said. At first, Daniel started off as likable, but not anymore. Now he's an asshole, like not as bad as Miga. Miga's an asshole too, but Daniel is an asshole in his own way at this point. Allie finally snaps telling him that there's obviously something in the house. It's the same thing Martin was saying, but Daniel dismisses it, telling her to come to dinner. And the next scene we see it's August 23rd, 2006, at 3:12 a.m. After cycling through the footage of all the rooms, Ali wakes up saying that she thinks she heard something downstairs. So she goes down to check it out. And when she starts looking around, Hunter's toy train rolls around. And in the same time, she enters the kitchen, but as soon as she bends the corner, the same toy train has changed directions and rolls the opposite direction and falls down the step. Allie sees this and she hauls as she runs up the stairs, and that's it. The next morning, Allie's explaining to Christy that it woke her up. It sounded like the door or something, so she kind of checked it out, and Daniel was snoring, adding that she caught it on camera and shows Christy, and she calls it weird and freaks her out because it reminds her of what Martine was saying about the house. Christy asks Allie what Martine said about the house, so she responds that Martine said that there were bad spirits in the house that she had to clear out. She was clearing out the bad spirits and letting the good ones in. She asks Christy if she has any other explanation, and she answers that she doesn't. Christy explains her childhood, saying that she remembers being scared all the time, but Allie doesn't quite understand. Asking Christy asking Christy to elaborate, Christy responds that she felt scared but doesn't really remember. We cut to Christy talking to Katie about Allie getting locked out of the house, with Katie asking Christy if Allie locked herself out. So Christy tells her that Allie said the door slammed shut on its own. Katie admits that it's pretty creepy. Christy tells Katie that what she's about to say is going to sound totally crazy, but she's been having this feeling lately that maybe whatever happened to them when they were little, she thinks that it's restarting again. Katie defensively tells Christy that she doesn't want to talk about it, and Christy responds that she doesn't remember anything. She just remembers being scared all the time. But Katie, now frustrated, asks Christy if she wants to know what she remembers. She remembers her crying all of the time. She remembers she couldn't sleep. She remembers that she got anxiety attacks. She remembers that Christy stopped talking for months at a time. She remembers weird people coming to their house and their mom was upset all the time. That is what she remembers. Whatever it was, it thrived on fear. The more we paid attention to it, the worse it got. Katie demands that she needs to leave it alone and she needs to ignore it or she's going to end up just like their mother. Katie asks Christy if she understands. Christy offers no response. So Christy, putting her foot down, asks if she understands her. Christy replies that yeah, she'll leave it alone. In the next scene, Christy is sitting in the rocking chair while Hunter is sleeping in her arms, while Allie leaves to take Abby on the wall. Christy now laying Hunter down, heads downstairs to the kitchen to make tea. Sitting at the table reading a magazine, but she stops when she senses something. So she looks over her shoulder, but then all of a sudden, all the cabinet doors and drawers explode open all at once, loud as hell, scaring the shit out of her to the point where she screams out loud. This jump scream was highly effective. I remember seeing this in the theaters, and the entire room jumped, and some people even screamed. The actress that plays Christy actually did not know that this was going to happen. They told her one or two doors would pop open, so her reaction in this scene is 100% real and it is not scripted. Christy looks around in complete shock before turning into a track star and running her ass up the stairs, shouting for whatever it is to leave her alone. But the problem with that is that she has to go back downstairs because the tea kettle is whistling it needs to be turned off. Christy returns downstairs to turn it off and closing all the cabinets and drawers. And as she walks up the stairs, Allie returns, but she knows something is up. She checks on her, asking if she's okay and if something just happened, but Christy assures her that everything is fine. Allie responds that obviously not. Christy whispers to whispers that Katie said they can't talk about it because if they do, it just goes, and after a brief pause, she adds worse. Tells her everything is okay, everything's fine, just stop. Shortly after, Allie is on the phone saying that the website said that some people make deals with demons for wealth and power. So what if Christy's great grandmother made a deal with the demon so she could get rich? From what I've seen so far, the girls aren't rich. They're not rich at all. Katie moved in with Mika, but that was already Mika's house. And I guess this house is it may be theirs, or maybe Daniel's. I don't know. There's not much proof behind it, but Daniel he appears to own a Burger King location, so I guess maybe that would justify that. Anyway, she went through their entire family line, and Hunter is the first male to be born on Christie's side since at least the 1930s. That and that that can't be a coincidence, she adds. We cut to the next scene. The text reads August 25th, 2006, night 19, and it is 9.24 p.m. Daniel is putting Hunter down for bed, and Abby comes in and lays down. The timestamp speeds up before stopping at 12:49 a.m. We see the basement door opens. Abby senses something and goes downstairs, and suddenly she starts barking and growling with an unseen force, but then suddenly Abby is pulled off screen and slammed on the ground. Startled awake, Allie and Daniel both run downstairs and they find Abby laying there. Both very panicked, rush out of the house to take Abby to the vet. Christy stays behind with Hunter. Christy waits on the stairs for a couple hours, calling Daniel repeatedly, waiting to hear back. So she goes to check on Hunter, noticing his nightlight is off, so she turns it on, and as she walks away, it begins to flicker, causing her to stop. And before she can reach to check it, she is violently dragged to the ground and dragged to the top of the staircase. She holds on for dear life, holding onto the rail while her legs just swing in the air. Eventually, it lets it lets her go briefly. So she goes to run to Hunter's room where she is violently dragged again off of her feet, but this time she is dragged down all the stairs and all the way into the basement and the door slams shut behind her, where she remains. The timestamp speeds up again until it stops on 2 58 a.m. The basement door slowly opens and Christy walks out in a canatonic state. The next morning, Ali is on the phone explaining that the vet start Abby had a seizure, even though she's never had one before, and that she was making all these weird noise. But she soon hangs up as Daniel brings Hunter to her, apologizing and acknowledging that it's bad timing, telling her that there's something wrong with Christy, he can't get her out of bed, and that he has to leave for a meeting that he's been putting on for weeks. Ali asks if she and Hunter can go to Brad's, but he tells her no, he needs her there to stay home. So she responds she'll come home when he does. He acknowledges that she's freaked out, but continuing to apologize, telling her that he'll only be gone for about two hours max, and then he has to go pick up Abby. Back on the phone with Brad, she continues to explain that the vets ran Tess because they don't know what it was, adding that she's never heard her cry like that, so she asks for him to come over because she doesn't want to be there alone. After she hangs up, she sits on the couch to read a book until she hears footsteps and thumping. Allie opens the basement door and makes a chilling discovery, whispering, Oh my god. She brings the camera to the door and we see claw marks and what appears to be letters, but she isn't sure. Now upstairs, Allie peeks through Hunter's bedroom door and sees Christy sitting in the rocking chair. She notices something on her leg, so she zooms in to reveal a bite mark. Much like Katie, she suffers the same fate. Katie was bitten on her back and now Christy's been bitten on her leg. Allie quietly asks, What the fuck is that? Before she can process that, she hears a bang behind her, so startled, she turns around but nothing is there. She redirects her attention back to Christy, who is now no longer sitting in the chair. She calls out for her but receives no answer. So she slowly enters the room with no sign of Christy in sight as Hunter is just standing in his crib. She moves in to greet him and pick him up, but then Christy comes around the corner. We then cut to Allie frantically crying on the phone with Daniel, demanding he comes home, repeating that something is really wrong with Christy, begging Daniel to return home. Allie returns upstairs to hunt to Hunter's blood-curdling screams while Christy stands motionless, facing the window, ignoring his cries completely. Allie tries to get Christy's attention, but is unsuccessful. But as she tries to get him, Christy suddenly and promptly tells Allie not to touch him. Allie goes to review the footage from the previous night, and that's when she discovers and sees what happens to Christy while they were at the vet. Daniel now returns home, rushes to see if Allie is okay, but she tells him that she's not okay, and Daniel asks where Christy is, so she tells him that she's upstairs. But before he can go up there, Allie panically cries, telling him that he needs to look at the tape. Christy was attacked. After seeing it, Daniel paces back and forth while Allie tells him that they have to go right now, asking if he believes her now. There's always that one person who is the skeptic, the non-believer, the one who either downplays it or mocks the existence of the supernatural, or even goes as far as ignoring possible signs, but then suddenly has a change of heart when shown actual proof. That's when they finally start to believe, and by then it's usually too late. Whatever is supposed to happen is gonna happen. Don't get me wrong, not everybody believes in the supernatural or the existence of the paranormal, and that is fine. Me personally, I do believe in it, I don't play around with it. I work in the school system and have personally had my own set of weird or concerned or even scary shit that's happened. When walking around the building in the morning at 6 a.m. So no one's in the building but me and maybe my other worker, but for the time that I've been alone, I have to go to each hallway and turn the lights on. I have to open up the classrooms and office doors and turn the lights on. I have to go to the bathroom and turn the lights on in the entire school. So I've had moments where I've opened the classroom door and it'll slowly close. I've heard doors close altogether, like kind of loudly. I've heard footsteps, like if I'm on the first floor, um, one of my schools is a two-story school, so I've been on the first floor walking and I'll hear footsteps above me, like something's running in the hallway, or um, or I'll be on the second floor and I'll hear it on the roof. I mean, granted, sometimes kids get up on the roof. I don't know how, I don't know why, but you know, whatever. It's 6 a.m. There's no reason for that to be happening. Um, there's times where like the cla the building itself is pitch black. Well, it's not pitch black, it has lights in the hallway, but the classrooms, those are pitch black, and sometimes the light will be on the other side of the room. I won't go in there. I'll wait till sunlight has come and I can actually see in the room, then I'll go turn it on. But when it's like daylight saving time, it's yeah, it's yeah, it's just not. I've had the automatic hand dryers go off for no reason, I've seen things on. The corner of my eye. Um, I and anytime I've heard doors closed, I don't go tracking it down. I simply say to myself, Nope, I'm not doing this. I'll go on about my business. I've had the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I've had the feeling of being watched. I've stopped dead in my tracks just to look over my shoulder. So, one thing that these movies have shown me or taught me is that if you heard, if you hear something, you didn't. If you think you saw something, you didn't. If there is a noise, don't go looking for it. If your gut is telling you something is off or something isn't right, follow that feeling. That's your intuition, that's your sixth sense. Remove yourself from it. If you hear a whisper or a name or any sound that isn't normal or isn't can be you know reasonably explained, don't respond. Because most importantly, whatever it is, give it zero attention. If you find yourself sitting in silence, do what I do. I turn on some music or a podcast, so at least that way I'm distracted. I've worked in the school system for 11 years, so I know all too well the creepiness of these schools, especially when they're empty. I've heard other stories, so it's been all kinds of things. Anyway, I got super distracted. That's ADHD problems. Sue me, whatever. Daniel sits in disbelief over the footage, and suddenly he starts frantically going through papers before finding a small piece of paper. Ali asks him, What is he doing? He responds that she tried to warn him, and he wouldn't listen. And she's she's clueless asking, Who is he talking about? Ali, who the hell else could he be talking about? Who else would it be? She warned him, she warned you, she said that there were bad spirits in the house. So come on, be real. And the next scene, we see Martine in the kitchen with Daniel telling him that she needs olive oil. So he finds it and he hands it to her. She rubs it on a cross and gives it back to him, where he then asks, What is he supposed to do with it? asking if it's gonna knock her out. Martine continues speaking Spanish. Daniel tells Allie that he told her to stay there. Daniel upstairs, sitting next to a catatonic, unresponsive Christy, whispering that she's freaking him out, asking that she just talked to him. Allie tells him to look at the bite on her leg and he sees it, whispering, what the fuck? Martine whispers to Daniel, but he responds, no way. After a short moment, Ali tells Daniel that they can't do this to her. It's her family talking about Christy. Daniel asks, What is he supposed to do? And Ali answers, it's her fucking sister. They can't do that to her, repeatedly telling him that they can't do that. Daniel tells her that there is no other way, but Ali responds, saying that there is another way. They can transfer it to somebody else, but Daniel explains that no, they can't. Martine said that it had to be a blood relative. That's his wife, and that's his son, her baby brother. She questions if the if they should tell anyone, so he tells her no. They never tell anyone. She's not even going to remember. And Martine said that she's not going to remember, and they're never going to talk about it ever. He puts his foot down, telling her that he doesn't care if she agrees or not. It's his decision and he's doing it. Staring into the bedroom as Christy just sits there motionless, she's not even blinking. Allie wants to leave, begging Daniel for them to just go and go now. Daniel creeps in the room, slowly approaching with the cross in hand. Allie advising him to be careful. Daniel whispers Christy's name, and as he looks away to look at Allie, Christy suddenly pops up and attacks him. And at that point, it's lights out. All lights shut off one by one, and the house is now pitch black. In a panic, Allie repeatedly yells that she can't see anything, and Daniel yells for her, asking where she is. She hands him the camcorder so he can turn on night vision. Soon after, he asks where Hunter is because Martin was holding him and now he's gone. Searching around the dark, some furniture starts to turn over and the pots that were hanging also fall from the ceiling. Allie points at the basement, telling him that they're in the basement. Daniel heads down there and hears Hunter's baby babble, baby talk. So he calls out for him, slowly navigating his way through the cluttered basement, a rat or mouse runs past him, scaring him to the point where he falls down. Continuing to locate Hunter, he eventually finds him. A box falls and catches Daniel's attention, so when he turns to grab the camera, when he returns back, Hunter is gone. Searching around in complete silence, Christy pops up with a loud demonic shriek and starts attacking him. And after a bit of a struggle, Daniel presses the cross on her chest, and as she screams, the floor violently shakes. All goes silent as Hunter walks past the camera. Suddenly, all lights return one by one. Daniel puts the sheet over a now sleeping Christy in bed and exits the room. Now downstairs, Daniel is burning the picture of Katie, and this is the same picture that Mika found in the attic, and now we know why the picture was burned. We cut to three weeks later, we see Katie sitting with Christy and Hunter opening a gift. Katie asks, How are things in the house? Are there any more weird stuff going on? Christy tells her no. Everything is great, but Katie tells her that she must be losing her mind. She feels like there's stuff going on at her house to the point where she actually told Mika about it, and she's sure that he thinks that she's crazy. Christy tells her to take her own advice that they shouldn't talk about it. It just drives them nuts. And Katie agrees. After a while, Katie is leaving, and we then see her putting into the driveway, and now we see we we are at the beginning of paranormal activity too. So this was a damn good way to tie in both movies, bringing both movies basically full circle. And this is where it runs parallel with both movies. A white text appears, Mika was killed October 8th, 2006. And the next thing we see is October 9th, 2006, at 11:48 p.m. As we cycle through the cameras, Daniel is laying on the couch watching TV. Christy checks on a crying hunter, and when we check back down to Daniel, in the background, Katie is standing there in the same bloody shirt that she was wearing the night when she killed Mika. Daniel looks behind him but sees he sees nothing because Christy is now gone. Christy is upstairs holding Hunter, singing to him, but then suddenly we cut back to Daniel and we see Katie walk up behind him and in one swift motion snaps his neck, killing him. Katie then walks off. Christy calls out to Daniel, but we, the audience, know that he's already dead. Katie walks up the stairs and enters Hunter's room, and an unseen force throws Christy's body back towards the camera, killing her as well. She picks up Hunter and as he cries, she walks off with him and the screen fades to black. We get another text that reads, Allie returned from a school trip and found the bodies of Christy and Daniel Ray on October 12th, 2006. Katie and Hunter's whereabouts are they remain unknown. So after writing down, you know, the dates, so obviously Paranormal Activity 2 started the beginning of August, August 7th to be exact, and the events of Paranormal Activity 1 started September 18th, 2000. At least that was the first night. But between, let's see, August 25th was the last recorded night for paranormal activity 2. So the activity was already occurring by September 18th, night one for paranormal activity. So here's where it gets, I guess, more interesting. So obviously, she killed Mika on October 8th, which was night 21, but then she killed Daniel and Christy October 9th, which was a day later. Mika's body was found October 11th, and Ali found Christy and Daniel's bodies on October 12th. So that's essentially the timeline. Um, I'm going to continue to jot them down. Um obviously paranormal activity three is a prequel to both. That takes place, I think, in the late 80s, early 90s, something like that. But I'm curious to see the timeline for paranormal activity four and the marked ones. So um, yeah, that's it. So, alright, ladies and gentlemen, that is it. That is paranormal activity two. SPEAKER_01It was almost everything I needed. Almost. So let's talk about it. Hey, hey, it's Caitlin, and welcome back to GVR Life Reviews, where I test the tools so you don't waste your time. Now, you know the newest deal, no boring walkthroughs, just what works and what doesn't, and what you really need to know if you're thinking about using, well, pod bean for your podcast. So let's get into what you really want to know, but right after my quick intro.
SPEAKER_02Welcome to J Be Alive. Welcome, baby.
SPEAKER_00This is J be alive.
SPEAKER_02This is JB Ali.
SPEAKER_01So, like I said, what you want to know about Podbean, and the first thing, setting up five minutes, it's very quick and easy. And the dashboard, clean, not cute, but clean. And you can upload your audio, write your show notes, and publish all in one go. Plus, you get a basic website, not fancy, but it gets the job done. And when it comes to distribution, this is always my favorite. Spotify, Apple, Amazon, they've got you covered. I clicked a few buttons and clearly I could be everywhere. Now, this is where Podbean starts well showing off. Because with Podbean, you also get built-in ads, check, crowdfunding through their Patreon program, check, and you can even offer premium episodes. Check, check, check. Like private ones. That's my favorite. You know, the ones that people pay for. And that's a win if you're trying to make podcasting your side hustle. But, and there's always a but, it does take a cut. And if you're not getting high traffic, those built-in ads might feel more like, oh, an empty promise is probably the best way of putting that. But then there's the media player. And let's be real, it's giving 2010. Functional? Yeah. Fresh and flexible? No. And while that's not a total con, I mean, I I don't think that's a make or break, I wasn't very impressed either in regards to their analytics. They're decent. I saw who listened, what they listened to, and how long they stuck around. Um, but it's not as detailed as something like Spotify for podcasters, but it's not useless either. So let's talk pricing. Because that's usually what is a make or break and where it gets real. The free plan. Great for testing. I always say test it out, see for yourself. But here you're gonna get up to five hours total upload time, a basic site, and a little bit of stats. It's super limited, but fine if you're just playing around to see what it does. Then you can go for their next plan, unlimited audio for $9 a month. This is where it gets good. Unlimited audio uploads, monetizes tools, and it gives you advanced stats and access to their AI features. So this is your best value if you're podcasting seriously, but don't need video. Then there's unlimited plus for $29 a month, and that adds video support, full customization, and even more AI blog features. Perfect if you want more of a brand or plan to do video podcasts. And then there's the network or business plan for $79 to $99 a month. And here you will be managing multiple podcasts, um, private shows, or running a podcast network. Um, and honestly, it's overkill though for solo creators. So the best choice for most people is obviously that unlimited audio for $9 a month, and you're gonna get the best bang for your buck without diving into the enterprise land. So would I recommend Podbean? Honestly, yeah. If you're looking for an old one platform that doesn't require tech skills, this is solid. But if you're chasing sleek design and powerful analytics, there are better looking options out there, which is why I'm giving it a GBR life rating of a four out of five. It's great for beginners and not bad for monetizers. And it would work for most podcasts, but I'm docking a point because it's mid when it comes to visuals and control. If this helped you out, hit that like button and subscribe for more unfiltered reviews every week. And if you've tried podbean, good, bad, or boring, drop your experience in the comments. I want to hear it, and I'm sure anybody else who watches this video wants to know more about your experience too. So drop it in the comments below. SPEAKER_02Hello guys, it's Luke Mead here, and today in this video, I'm gonna be showing you how to run ads on Spotify. So here I am inside Spotify Advertising. If you want to get here, you can simply search Spotify Advertising and that'll take you pretty much straight to the right spot. Now you've gotta start off by having a Spotify account. I already have, so I'm gonna log straight in using that. But if you haven't, you can sign up for free, which is really easy. They make it super fast and simple. You can sign in with a Gmail account or a Facebook account. But if you haven't, you can do so. So now, once you're inside of Spotify Ad Studio, this is essentially where they manage all of the content. You can see we have a campaign section here, which will house your campaigns, and then inside your campaigns you'll see your ad sets, and inside your ad sets, you'll be able to see your ads. And that's very common. We see all of most ad managers look a lot like this. So let's head back to the campaigns area and let's start by creating a new campaign. So the first thing we want to do is give it a name, and I really recommend being quite informative of this name because in the future, when you're going back and looking at your ads, you want to be able to know what they were running about and just make it super easy. So let's call it test campaign for YouTube. And we might want to give it a date of the 30th of the 3rd, 2022. That just makes it easy to actually account for what's going on in the future. Trust me, you'll fame me for that. Next, we've got to choose what we're promoting. This is really important. Spotify's got three categories. One, we can promote a brand or an organization, that's most likely what most people are doing. But if you're an artist on Spotify, you might be interested in doing one of these. You can promote your own music, or you can promote a concert or a um some merchandise of your own. So in this case, we're going to select a brand, but if you're an artist, you might want to select one of those options down there. We're going to hit next, and that's our campaign setup. Now the next step is to set up our ad set. The ad set is where we select stuff like the format of the ad, the schedule and budget, and even the audience. So let's give it an good name. And in this case, let's call it something like in this case, Australian Spotify listeners. I mean that's a no-brainer, but we're going to target people in Australia that are listening to Spotify. So we're going to select an audio ad, but you can select video ads as well that play. And if you use Spotify before, you might have seen those. You can see there's an advanced option down here. We can adjust the platform, and obviously we've got, you know, iPhones, Android devices, and desktop computers to choose from. We'll just go of all of them because that gives us a bigger audience. We can select a budget. There's some preset options here of quite big, but I think the minimum spend is $300. I think. In this case, let's just go $100, $1,000. And you can see we can select a frequency cap if we want, but in this case, we're happy to let Spotify spend the money as we see. Let's quickly adjust the start and end date in here. You can see that's set for the future. Doesn't really matter, and we can let that go. Here's the exciting thing where we can target who we want. In this case, we're gonna search and target Australia. And we can leave it as that. And we can even go down here and select different audiences, like male or females, or even age groups. Let's do that. And we'll select English as well. And we'll hit next just to see how that goes. Oh here we go. Nope, it's good. What I'm actually looking at now is that Spotify has updated our budget and how it's likely to go. So it's telling us it's gonna cost approximately two cents per listen to the ad, which is a really good value. And it's most likely to be spent this budget. And you can see we're estimated to get it to reach about 50,000 people, and people hear it once or 1.1 times. So that's really good. And for a thousand bucks, that's pretty good ad money spent. So what we're gonna do here is next. And there we go. We're now onto the ad. So we've built the campaign, the ad set, and now we've got an ad. Once again, let's give it a really creative name. I'll just call it Spotify test YouTube, but give it a really good name. And we've got two options. We can help we can let Spotify build us an ad, or we can use our own. In this case, I'm gonna select use my own because I filmed I've already recorded one. And then I can upload my audio file. Now that's just in my desktop in here. Let's have a look. Maybe some of the downloads. There it is. Spotify MP3. That's just some file I filmed with this microphone. And the next thing we want to do is upload an image because we've got to have an image that appears here as well. So we're gonna upload an image. And in this case, I've just got one on my desktop. I believe the dimensions need to be 600 by 600 pixels, so that's pretty easy. You can crop that in Photoshop or other tools like Canva. And the last thing we really need to do is give it an advertiser's name. In my case, it could be IPM Media or Luke Mead. And we want to give it a tagline. This is gonna be something that's actually quite engaging. You know, it might be something like kick start your marketing. If you can write a creative and engaging tagline, there's a really good chance that people are actually gonna be intrigued to click on it and want to know what's going on. So actually be a bit careful at what you write here. Next, we can choose a call to action, and this is the button that will appear down here. Um it depends on what you're linking to. In most cases, learn more works really well because it's the call to action that people are familiar with. And then eventually you want to link it to some spot on a website. In my case, I might just link it to one of my websites, IPM Media. If you go to IPM Media, I've got some great marketing articles on there, have a read. And you can see that this is gonna be the ad. That's how it's appearing on mobile, and we can even change it to desktop to see how it appears in desktop in the bottom left-hand corner. We can add some tracking if we want to, but in this case, I'm gonna leave it as that. And that's what our ad looks like, guys, for Spotify. Next, we're pretty much done, and all that is left to do is add a business address in my case, and you need to add a payment method, which is your card. Now, that's how easy it is to create a Spotify ad, guys. We did that in what seven minutes. I think we can all do that. I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial. Have a great day, guys. I'll speak to you next time. Ciao ciao.
