Hey guys, what's up? My name is Jason, or as I'm known on this channel, Dark Desert Highway. I'm coming to you today to thank you for visiting. I hope that your time watching these videos has given you something that you might not have known about God before. What we do on this channel is read the Bible. And I'm making this video as a personal invitation to you to have a Bible study with me, to share what you know, to grow and learn in the Word of the Lord together. So I'm making myself available for personal conference calls on Zoom or WhatsApp so far. Those are the two publications that I'm going to be working on, the two platforms that I'm going to be working on. And it's all free. Everything's free. The word of God is free. The gift of Jesus Christ is free. There's no way that I'm going to charge anything for a personal encounter because what we're discussing matters. It's worth more than gold. These are the things that pertain to life. So if you're interested in having uh either a guest speaker over Zoom, if you're in the Portland, Oregon area, I can visit you. We can start a discussion talking about the Bible, talking about Jesus Christ, and his death, burial, and resurrection, which absolutely happened. That's the way history has happened. And we're just stuck in the middle of it. We weren't here when it started, but it matters what we choose to believe. It does. Because faith is necessary, it's required for a relationship with God, faith in God, and what his son did for us on the cross. Romans 10, 9 and 10 says, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. So that is a precursor. Those are two markers that are in a believer's life. A confession that Jesus is Lord. Go ahead and say it out loud. Ascribe to him his deity, his role. His role right now, as it sits, is the king of heaven. He's been crowned king. And he has a government. Heaven is is not a faraway place. Heaven is all around us. And we kind of forgot how close it was. It's so near to us that if we just believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead and speak those words, Jesus, you are Lord, then you'll receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and as a down payment, as a deposit to the future that we have in the Lord. He is our seal. He comes to live inside of us, to instruct us, to guide us, to lead us into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Or if you have Zoom, we and you have the technology at your church, we can put it up at your church and I can join as a guest speaker. Um, or if uh you have WhatsApp. I'd like to be able to share my screen, that's what I want, because it's the word of God that changes our lives. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. So we got to get the word of God up on the screen. That's what we gotta do, you know, so people can see it. They can see it, they can they can repeat it in their mind, they can move their lips to it, they can get it all through their body. You know, you can wash your mind with the water of the word, it cleanses us from every other source of nonsense that we can become consumed by. Alright, so that's my personal message to you. I'm inviting you to reach out to me. Um, and if you do, you will get a response from me, and we can come in agreement together about who Jesus is, or if we can't come into agreement about who Jesus is because you're just not there yet, we can discuss what the Bible says about him, and like I was saying, faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. You can take that step in faith to invite Jesus Christ in your life by confessing that he is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised him from the dead.
