Hey guys, Dark Desert Highway here. And tonight's topic is tough. We're going to be looking at Lucifer and all of the scriptures that I found regarding the topic of how this started from the beginning. And we're gonna come to understand through reading scripture that we have been born into a war. The first creations of the Lord, the angels, made decisions that affected mankind. And one of the angels that led a rebellion in heaven against God was named Lucifer. He is Satan, or also known as the great adversary. And his decision to disobey God was the beginning of a war that started in heaven. And let's read about that war in Revelation twelve, seven through ten. Revelation twelve, seven through ten. Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon. The dragon and his angels also fought, but he could not prevail, and there was no place for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was thrown out, the ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the one who deceives the whole world. He was thrown to earth, and his angels with him. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say, The salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have now come, because the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night has been thrown down. They conquered him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they did not love their lives to the point of death. Therefore, rejoice you heavens, and you who dwell in them, woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you with great fury, because he knows his time is short. So look, we none of us chose to be in this war. It started before mankind uh had been introduced as God's plan his next step. We never got past that step. God created the heavens, he created the angels, he created the earth, he created mankind, and now we're stuck. We're stuck in this chapter of creation where God hasn't been able to get to the things that he has planned for later on because he's still dealing with this, you know. Um but the we live in an interesting time, a time when the war has actually been won. And we're kind of wrapping this up. God is kind of wrapping this up, but before he brings an end to this chapter of creation, because he could keep creating, and that's the cool thing about God. I believe that he will keep creating uh because he's the author of life, and I don't yet think that this is over, but but this has to be dealt with. Sin has entered onto the stage. Rebellion against God has happened, and a war has been initiated, um and we're stuck in the middle of it. So let's look at Luke ten. Luke ten, because um as I was saying, we're in an interesting time. Luke ten twenty three through twenty four. Then turning to his disciples, he, Jesus, said privately, Blessed are the eyes that see the things you see, for I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see the things you see, but didn't see them, to hear the things you hear, but didn't hear them. So now he's addressing his disciples in a very particular time because the promise the promise had been made that a Savior would come and make a new covenant for to reconcile to reconcile mankind to God. Um first there was the old covenant, um but we couldn't follow the rules, and it was because of the rules that sin had been exposed in our lives. Now that we're aware of our sinfulness, um it was by the blood of animals that we could temporarily cover our sin to be involved in a right relationship with God. But that wasn't enough. The blood of animals wouldn't take care of the problem at its root. The root of the problem was mankind had separated himself from God through disobedience, and before anything could take place any further in God's plan for the universe, the whole show, he this needs to be taken care of. This needs to be reconciled. So Jesus stepped on the stage, and by his death, burial, and resurrection, a new covenant has been made, which includes not only the Hebrew nation, the Jews, but also the barbarian, those who are not Jewish, who are not part of the original promise. We have now been added to the promises that God has made to his people. And you know, the time that we live in right now is a amazing time because the promise has already come. It's come in the form of a savior who had only in the Old Testament been hinted at, you know, uh the scriptures described a savior, and the Old Testament prophets and the Old Testament kings looked forward to a time when this man would step on to the stage of the earth, and he has. So not only does this scripture said in 23, then turning to his disciples, he said privately, Blessed are the eyes that see the things you see, for I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see the things you see, but didn't see them, to hear the things you hear, but didn't hear them. So not only do we have a record of what these disciples were given the opportunity to see the promise manifest itself on the earth stage. Um but now we as a people in 2023 have not only the promise, but we have the fulfilled um everything has been fulfilled by Jesus, who has died, um, but he rose again in in everything that had been promised uh had come about. So we live in probably a more extraordinary time than these disciples, whom Jesus was saying that they are blessed. Blessed are the eyes that see the things you see. Um we have not only a record of the things that they saw and the things that they heard, but we have the finished, accomplished salvation that comes through what Christ did on the cross for us, which is amazing. God is the the author of life. I am sure that He is not done. Look at the universe, look at how vast and big it is, galaxies in galaxies, and the beginning of forever, the beginning of everlasting, and the promise that has been made is that there will be no more curse. The curse will be done away with. We will dip our robes in the blood of the Lamb, we will stand right before God, um and we have an opportunity to be a part of what God is going to do. We don't know what he's going to do yet because we're stuck, we're all stuck in this part of the Bible. Um but uh, you know, let's so there's a war in heaven. So war broke out in heaven, and Lucifer and his rebellious angels um have separated themselves in opposition to God's plan, which was to give mankind dominion over the earth. Uh but Lucifer as an angelic creation, as a glorious, amazing, beautiful, um top tier um creation, didn't wasn't satisfied with what God had planned to give to men, which was dominion. And let's look at um let's look at uh the dominion real quick. Genesis one Genesis one twenty six through thirty. Then God said, Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. They will rule. They will rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the livestock the whole earth, and the creatures that crawl on the earth. So God created man in his own image, he created him in the image of God, he created them male and female. God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and every creature that crawls on the earth. God also said, Look, I have given you, I have given you every seed bearing plant on the surface of the entire earth, and every tree whose fruit contains seed. They will be food for you, for all the wild life of the earth, for every bird of the sky, and for every creature that crawls on the earth, everything having the breath of life in it. I have given you every green plant for food, and it was so. God saw that all he had made, and it was very good indeed. Evening came and morning and the sixth day. So the timeline of creation let's let's go up here to the timeline of creation. That was the sixth day. So let's look at the scriptures. Heaven was created before man was created, and the angels were created before man was created, and they had communion with God and served and worshiped him. Lucifer used to serve and worship God, and the angels who fell with them used to serve and worship God, which is why in in the Bible they say, I know who you are, would the demons say, I know who you are, because they had a relationship with God previously, they were the angels of heaven before the rebellion. Um what had happened? Who sinned first? Let's look at this. Who sinned first? Was it Adam or was it Eve? Because when I read the Bible, the first person who sinned was actually Lucifer. Um, him and his angels were the first sinners of creation. Um by the time Adam and Eve were created, they were intercepted in the garden by Lucifer with a contrary testimony about God, and uh he challenged God's word by saying that you know you will not die, surely you will not die. But God knows that your eyes will be opened. Um so there's a war in heaven, Satan is cast down. Let's look at Luke 10. Um let's go with the timeline of the scriptures that I have. Let's look at Luke 10 18. And this is Jesus speaking. He said to them, I watched Satan fall from heaven like lightning. So first there's a war, then Satan and his angels are cast out to the prison of the earth for them. This is their this is their prison. And Jesus says that I watched Satan fall from heaven like lightning. Let's look at Isaiah 14 Isaiah fourteen twelve through nineteen Shining Morning Star How you have fallen from the heavens, you destroyer of nations, you have been cut down to the ground. You said to yourself, I will ascend to the heavens, I will set up my throne above the stars of God, I will sit on the mount of God's assembly in the remotest parts of the north, I will ascend above the highest clouds, I will make myself like the most high, but you will be brought down to Sheol into the deepest regions of the pit. Those who see you will stare at you, they will look at you closely and say, Is this the man who caused the earth to tremble, who shook kingdoms, who turned the world into a wilderness, who destroyed its cities, and would not release the prisoners to return home? All the kings of the nations lie in splendor, but each to his own tomb, but you are thrown out without a grave, like a worthless branch, covered by those slain with the sword and dumped into the rocky pit pit like a trampled corpse. So other versions say, How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer? Um who is also known as the morning star, shining morning star, how you have fallen from the heavens, or how art thou fallen from the heavens, O Lucifer. So so there's a war in heaven, Satan falls like lightning, a commentary is made about the fall of Satan with his intentions. His intentions, his heartfelt intentions were to ascend and set up his throne above the stars of God. So a decision had been made by Lucifer, a rebellion had been led against God with the heartfelt intent to take the place of God, uh, because he didn't agree with the creation of mankind and the fact that now he had to serve uh men. You know, Jesus was a servant, um, he served men, he washed the feet of the disciples, he served by giving his life. Um he served by by healing the sick and uh setting the captive free and forgiving our sins, uh which which only could be, you know, uh happened by the blood. Like I was saying, in the old testament, it was the blood of animals, but a new thing had happened. A more perfect sacrifice had to be made for the redemption of mankind to return to a right relationship with God, uh a better sacrifice had to be made. So God sacrificed himself. Um so that's all servanthood, that's all serving mankind. Um Lucifer wasn't down with that, he didn't want to serve mankind. And when men had stepped onto the stage, it was Lucifer's intent to deceive them into separating them from God and taking dominion from the hand of man and keeping the dominion for himself. So we already looked at how God gave dominion to Adam in Genesis 1, 26 through 30. Um Genesis 1, 26 through 30, he said that men were to rule. But Lucifer's like, look at look at who I am. I'm I'm a beautiful creation, I have wisdom, knowledge, and power. Um I will not serve mankind. Instead, I will deceive men, separate them from their God, steal the dominion away from them which had been rightly given to them by God, because God would say men would rule. He created men in his own image, he gave them dominion, he said that they will rule the earth and all things on it. Everything had been given to men. Well, um, it's been suggested that because of this, Lucifer, who had a relationship with the Lord, who served him, um all of a sudden wasn't part, he wasn't going to take part in this next stage of the creation of God. So he led a rebellion, and the war began. He separated men from a right relationship with God through deception and introducing sin, which he had already taken part of. He was the first sinner, Lucifer. Um he was the one that created like okay, you gotta think the potential to disobey God is has to be. So after seeing what had happened through his own disobedience and the consequence of his own disobedience, he decided to share that knowledge of the ability to separate themselves from God with mankind. But he kept that part a secret. He didn't tell Adam and Eve the consequence of his disobedience, he just gave them the choice of disobedience. He came with the suggestion that it was possible to live your life apart from the rules of the Lord. Um let's look at um Genesis three, one through seven. Genesis three one through seven. Now the serpent was the most cunning of all the wild animals that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, Did God really say you can't eat from any tree in the garden? The woman said to the serpent, We may eat from the fruit from the trees in the garden, but about the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden, God said, You must not eat it or touch it, or you will die. No, you will certainly not die, the serpent said to the woman. In fact, God knows that when you eat it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil. The woman saw that the tree was good for food and delightful to look at, and that it was desirable for attaining wisdom. So she took some of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked, so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. So this eventuality had to come about in some way. Because now follow me with this. The only way to be free and complete was to have a choice. To choose to obey or disobey. So up until the moment when an option had presented itself to obey or disobey, Adam and Eve were not yet complete as free individuals. Hold on, by their choice. They had only known what was good and right and just and true. And they had not yet had the opportunity to choose. Their eyes were not opened. So by only knowing what is right and never having the choice to go one way or the other, they had not yet stepped into free will. Their right to exercise free will had not yet come, but needed to happen in order to be a complete individual, in order to be what God purposed for us all to have, and that is a choice. Um but you see that their eyes were not open, so so okay, but I also I also submit to you this that whether they chose to eat or not eat, their eyes would have been opened either way. Because by choosing to stick to what God had said, they would have seen evil, the knowledge of good and evil. They would have seen the difference between what is right and what is wrong by choosing to do either good or evil. So their eyes had opened, and they had the knowledge of good and evil. Now, it wasn't the knowledge of good and evil that killed Adam and Eve. So it was it was the disobedience, it was the act of disobedience that killed Adam and Eve. The act of disobeying God had introduced death and sin into their mortal bodies because they were still mortal. They had not yet taken from the tree of everlasting life. The tree of everlasting life was taken away from them after their decision to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. But I submit to you the possibility that by denying Satan's offer to disobey God, their eyes would have been opened, anyways, because evil, the knowledge of evil had presented itself. Okay, look. First they had only known what was good and right and just and true, until an opposing view, it's that opposing view that had been presented to them. So they know not only what is right and just and true, but they also know what is unjust and uh in opposition to God. And this had to happen because it was God's intent to have a free thinking entity that could choose right or wrong. Now the angels have the knowledge of good and evil, um, and they had a choice, and you can see that their choice was exercised. Lucifer exercised his choice. So this is a kind of a part of creation that God had set up, and before he created men with their choice, he created the angels, and they got to choose whether to obey or disobey. Um, and it was in their disobedience that they had introduced themselves kind of like um kind of like a creation of an eventuality, a creation of a possibility of what happens when you disobey God. Well, something was created through disobedience of God, and that creation was sin, which had never yet been, it had never been a part of because because um but it was an eventuality, like it was uh a hidden construct, um, and I I'm I'm not even sure that Lucifer knew the consequence of what he was doing when he did it, because sin didn't exist yet. So it was an idea to rebel against the Lord, but the consequence of his rebellion he couldn't have known. Or maybe he did know. I'm not I'm not exactly sure how that knowledge works. But it was through his rebellion that sin was created and lived in him. So he had separated himself from God, but he was created everlasting. So um so the blood of Jesus has no effect to him, it's worthless to him, right? Because he separated himself after being created as an everlasting creature already. Mankind had not yet taken from the tree of everlasting life, so he was mortal, um, he was sinless, so death had not yet entered into the situation. So he would without corruption, he would continue on in his created state um with no failing. There would be no failing of his body or anything like that. But um, okay, so the eyes of Adam and Eve were opened by making the choice, but the choice had to present itself eventually, because it was God's intention to have a free will, free thinking creature that can choose whether to disobey God or not. Look, the angels had a choice, and I submit to you that the angels who stayed faithful to God still have a choice. Right now, 2023, after everything that's happened, an angel can still choose to disobey God. That's why I call them the faithful ones. They have been faithful from the beginning. Every day that they are alive, they continue to choose to serve God. How do I know that? Well, because angels have made the choice whether to serve God or not, and they have become the fallen angels through their decision to exercise their free will. So everybody has free will. Um and so the choice had to present itself to Adam and Eve through a mechanism, some type of mechanism, and it and it manifested in Lucifer, who offered the choice to man to disobey or obey. And it was by their choice that their eyes were opened, but their eyes would have been opened anyways if they made the other choice, to listen to God, because evil had presented itself in the form of opposition to God. Uh uh you know what I'm saying? Like Lucifer stepped on the stage, there was good and there was evil, and it was right there. If they had chosen the good, then I'm sure that their eyes would have been opened and they would have seen evil for what it was. Um because it was right in front of them. Um and then they would have skipped the whole thing, they chose to serve God, and then they would have the knowledge of evil because it had presented itself in Lucifer. Alright, so I'm not sure exactly how all this works. I have a I have a good idea of, you know, but we're talking about eventualities, we're talking about possibilities that that didn't happen. So what we have is the record of what actually happened, you know. Um but you have to submit, you know, that if they obeyed God, something else, a different way of everything would have come about. Um let's look at okay, so okay, so there's a war in heaven. Uh Satan falls like lightning. Um, there's a declaration of his intent. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer? God gives dominion to Adam. Lucifer comes and uh takes dominion for himself. And you can see that in uh Matthew four, eight through eleven. So let's go to Matthew four Matthew chapter four, eight through eleven. Again the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor, and he said to him, I will give you all these things if you fall down and worship me. So in order to give, you have to possess. And Lucifer possessed these things. So at the fall of Adam, dominion was given to Adam, but at the fall of Adam, dominion became it became whoever's stronger. It was it was all it's all about force and war and and exercising uh power to take dominion. Now dominion is whoever's strongest. Uh Dominion had been lost by men, it had been taken by Lucifer, um, and eventually um all authority is given to Jesus. Let's look at this. I don't have this one written down. So um authority given to Jesus. Matthew twenty eight, eighteen through twenty. Jesus came and told his disciples, I have been given all the authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I'm looking for okay, so so this is the timeline of events. God creates heaven, God creates the angels. The angels are cool, chilling with God. They are worshiping him, they have a relationship with him, they're fine with the way that things are. Okay. Then God creates man. God gives dominion to man over all earth, over all the animals, over all the creatures. He says, This is yours, exercise authority over these things, because I have given them to you. The angels now have the task of serving men. Lucifer didn't like that part. It was all good until man was created. Lucifer didn't want to take part in that, and it suggested it's suggested in extra biblical text that there was a refusal to bow down to mankind on the occasion of the creation of men. And also by a declaration by God that all were to be subject to the Son, the Messiah. So a new thing had happened. God created man and made everything subject to man. Lucifer was like, Look at how beautiful I am. Why has this been given to men and not to me? Um and then not only is it not given to me, it's been given to the Son, uh, the Messiah, to Jesus. So it was so a rebellion had taken place. A war had begun. The same war that that that we are um born into. Uh so Lucifer deceives men into disobeying God. Men give up their authority, their dominion over earth. It's up for grabs now. Nobody has it. Lucifer comes with power and strength and death and murder and gains um rulership over the kingdoms of the earth. Jesus steps on the stage, takes the authority back, takes the dominion back. All things are now subject to God. All things are subject to Jesus. All authority has been given to Jesus. Uh enemies a footstool. The Lord says, Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet. The Lord will extend your mighty scepter from Zion. You will rule in the midst of your enemies. Um I'm looking for a revelation. Revelation. Hand of the one seated on the throne, a scroll with writing on both sides, sealed with seven seals. I also saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals? But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth were able to open the scroll or even look in it. I wept and I wept, because there was no one found worthy to open the scroll or even to look in it. Then one of the elders said to me, Do not weep, look, the lion from the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has conquered, so that he is able to open the scroll and its seven seals. Then I saw the one like a slaughtered lamb standing in the midst of the throne, and the four living creatures, and among the elders, he had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God, sent into all the earth. He went and took the scroll out of the right hand of the one seated on the throne. When he took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty four elders fell down from before the lamb. Each one had a harp and golden bowls filled with incense, which are all the prayers of the saints, and they sang a new song. You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, because you were slaughtered, and you purchased people for God by your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation. You made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign on the earth. Worthy is the lamb who was slaughtered to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. Um the conclusion of the matter is hidden in the scrolls with the seven seals. It will it's the finality, the the finality of the war that began through the rebellion of Lucifer and the fallen angels. The finality was hidden in the scroll. The way that this conflict uh can find resolution was it was written, but nobody was able to take it. But it was by Jesus and his sacrifice that he won the right to open the scroll, which contained the final steps uh that needed to take place to end the creation of sin and the separation from God. So we will be reconciled to God through Jesus, whom all authority has been given to. So it was up for grabs, Lucifer took it by strength and by force, it was given to men, and now all authority has been given to God. He is the governmental head of everything, and he has won for himself the right to redeem those through his blood and and have them stand in right relationship with God. So we are all uh trophies. We're what Jesus has won. Um we belong to him if we are blood bought, we're bought by the blood through his sacrifice, and we are his inheritance. Um we're the inheritance of Jesus. Let's see if I can find that. So we have an inheritance through Jesus, but Jesus' inheritance is us. Um so I'm not able to really find the scriptures on that, but that's the way that things are. Um let's look at the position of Lucifer now that he has fallen uh in Job. So we got the war in heaven, Satan falls like lightning, a declaration of Satan's fall, God gives dominion to Adam, uh Lucifer deceives Adam and Eve, their eyes were opened because they had a free will choice. That free will choice had to be, it had to present itself in some way for men to come into their free will. Um, dominion has been taken away from men, Satan has dominion by strength and force, Jesus steps on the stage, dies, offers himself as a perfect sacrifice. The old testament way of obtaining forgiveness of sin through sacrifices of gull of bulls and goats or lambs is no longer there because a perfect sacrifice has been presented. The Jesus, the the Lamb of God, uh without spot or blemish. Um let's look at the conclusion of the matter actually in Revelation 20. Um because we know his position. Okay, so let's look at his position. What's his what's his position now? Let's finish up talking about Lucifer. Um and then we'll get to the finality of uh Job 1, 6 through 7. One day the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them. The Lord asked Satan, where have you come from? From roaming through the earth, Satan answered him and walking around on it. So that's his position now. Um and in first Peter we are to be sober and vigilant. Let's look at first Peter Um five eight. Um be sober minded, be alert your adversary, the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone to devour. And you know, I looked for more scriptures on Lucifer, but there aren't too many. The Bible is full of stories and full of instruction and knowledge and goodness and and and um everything uh pertaining to our salvation, it but there's not too much about Lucifer, it's like God's not that worried about it, you know. So the book isn't full of uh of these things. So I've pulled the scriptures that I can pull, and really the most that's said about him is uh what happened in heaven, where he is now, and what is going to happen to him at the end. In Revelation twenty one through ten, then I saw an angel coming down from heaven holding the key to the abyss and a great chain in his hand. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the abyss, closed it, and put a seal on it so that he would no longer deceive the nations until the thousand years were completed. After that he must be released for a short time. Then I saw thrones, and the people seated on them were given the authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus, and because of the word of God, who had not worshipped the beast or his image, and who had not accepted the mark on their foreheads or in their hands, they came to life, and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were complete. This is the first resurrec resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years. Now when the thousand years are complete, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for battle. Their number is like the sands of the sea. They came up across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the encampment of the saints, the beloved city. Then fire came down from heaven and consumed them. The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophets are, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. So that's the conclusion to the matter. A conclusion that was hidden in the scroll with the seven seals. Nobody was able to open it, but Jesus. Jesus, it said that He has the authority. So everything has been given into the hands of Jesus. Lucifer is cast away forever. He will be separated from God, uh, separated from men. There will be a close to this situation. So we live in a time where the promise was given in the Old Testament. In the New Testament, Jesus arrives, completes the things that fulfills scripture. He fulfills Scripture, completes this. Now the conclusion to the war that has started has begun. The the closing of this chapter. Now I'm not saying that God's done creating. I don't think that he's done. I think that he started uh until this sin thing happened. And now it all needs to be dealt with. It's been dealt with uh through Jesus, and now we're in a part where it's kind of closing. It's it's kind of closing up. And we're waiting for the return. But you know, I I don't think that God is in too much of a hurry. Like, like he wants to bring a conclusion to the matter, but he cares so much for the loss that I don't believe that he's like, you know, like uh sitting up there just waiting to pull the trigger on Armageddon. You know, I I think that he loves everyone so much that he is willing to give them time to come to repentance before he puts the end of everything into place because there are those who are lost, and he came to save what was lost, you know, and um so he's willing to allow the the victory has been won, but he is willing to allow the current state of things to continue until the fullness of uh the um salvation has come to the Jews and to the Gentiles. He's he's fulfilling. So right now, the angels, the demons, Jesus, they're all focused on mankind and about bringing redemption. Redemption has been one, but but you might not know about it. Somebody might not know about it. So so it's we're we're in this time to where Jesus is gathering the lost to himself through his sacrifice. And uh let's look at Revelation 21 1 through 10. Um so Lucifer he's done away with, and and the the a new thing is going to happen. Then I saw a new heaven and new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. I also saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband. Then I heard a loud voice from the throne, look, God's dwelling is with humanity, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and will be their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, death will be no more, grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because the previous things have passed away. The one seated on the throne said, Look, I am making everything new. He also said, Write because these words are faithful and true, and then he said to me, It is done. It's done. I am the Alpha and the Omega. I am the beginning and the end. I will freely give to the thirsty from the springs of the water of life. The one who conquers will inherit these things, and I will be his God, and he will be my son. But the cowards, faithless, detestable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death. Then one of the seven angels, who had held the seven bulls, filled with the seven last plagues, came and spoke with me. Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the lamb. He then carried me away in the spirit to a great high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, arrayed with God's glory. Her radiance was like that of a precious jewel, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. Let's jump down to twenty-two. I did not see a temple in it, because the Lord God, the Almighty, and the Lamb are its temple. The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it because God's glory illuminates it, and its lamp is the lamb. So there will be no sun and moon. What do you think about that? Uh the city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it because God's glory illuminates it, and its lamp is the lamb. Uh so we'll be living off the light of Jesus, man. How cool is that? There will be no shadows, there'll be no night. Uh the sun will never He is the light that illuminates heaven. Um bring the glory and honor of the nations into it. Nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those written in the Lamb's book of life. Then he showed me the river, the water of life clear as crystal flowing from the throne of God and of the lamb, down the middle of the city's main street. The tree of life was on each side of the river, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, producing its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and there will no longer be any curse. That's what I'm waiting for personally. That's what I'm looking forward to. There will no longer be any curse. The throne of God and the lamb will be in the city, and his servants will worship him, they will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. Night night will be no more. People will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will give them light, and they will reign for ever and ever. Then he said to me, These words are faithful and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angels to show his servants what must soon take place. Look, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book. Let's go down to twelve. Um twelve. Look, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me to repay each person according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to eat of the tree of life, and may enter the city by its gates. Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. I, Jesus, have sent my angel to attest of these things to you for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star. Both the spirit and the bride say come. Let anyone who hears say come. Let the one who is thirsty come, let the one who desires to take the water of life freely. I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book. So the conclusion of the matter. So we saw the beginning. We saw the start of a war, a rebellion, the introduction of sin, the separation of men from God, the dominion taken and by force and the the uh the time before salvation had been won through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Now Jesus has been raised, dominion has been given to him, all authority has been given to him to rule and to reign. Um men have been given as an inheritance to God, our inheritance is hidden in Jesus, um, and a new thing is about to happen. We're wrapping it up, he is wrapping it up. Um and this moment has been given to us to decide. We still have to choose, you know. We have to choose to have faith, we have to choose to believe, we have to choose to step away from the things of the world and cleave to God. Um now the conclusion of things are on the horizon, but it's by the love of God, the grace and mercy of God that we have been given this time to make the choice before the conclusion of things comes. He is willing to wait to give you what he has won through his death, burial, and resurrection. He's willing to wait for your for you to open your eyes, to come to him in faith, and to confess that he is Lord, and to believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead for your salvation. And that's the conclusion to the war. So without going back over every point of this, we are born into this war. It wasn't our choice, but we need to know about it because this is the way, this is the history of the way that things have happened. And, you know, looking through the scriptures, you know, we have to be able to identify where we are in the timeline. The promise has been given. Jesus has come, fulfilled what what what needed to be fulfilled in order to make a sacrifice to God for the forgiveness of sins. God has accepted that sacrifice. He says it's good enough, you know, for the redemption of sins and for the reconciliation of mankind to God. So, you know, I just wanted to go over some scripture about this. I hope that you're still here. I hope that you've listened to it to the end. Um, you know, the conclusion of this matter is found in the scripture, which is why we read the Bible on this channel. This is what we do, we read the Bible so that you can see what has been given to us to know the knowledge of God. The knowledge of God is hidden in the Word of God. So, in order to have the Word of God, uh, you know, um we need to familiarize ourselves with this. And we need to open up this book and look at what happened. Um things have happened, and we don't need to be ignorant by by by not looking and reading and learning about our salvation, what God has done, what happened in the first place. You know, um let's familiarize ourselves with these things. And that's it, that's all I got for you today. So thanks for sticking around, and uh you have a good day.
