00:00:45.200 --> 00:00:58.399 And this week we read the end of chapter number eight, but I want us to go back and look a little bit more at these final verses here in chapter number eight and then into chapter number nine. 00:00:58.560 --> 00:01:01.039 Throughout Genesis, we see this thing. 00:01:01.200 --> 00:01:07.519 We see corruption, we see judgment, but then we see God offering grace. 00:01:07.840 --> 00:01:12.400 God offers grace, and Noah finds grace in the eyes of the Lord. 00:01:12.560 --> 00:01:21.280 And let's look at what takes place after the flood is finished, and after 00:09:51.679 We're gonna kind of just walk here and uh through this narrative. 00:09:51.759 --> 00:09:55.039 I just want to give us a few things to consider this morning. 00:09:55.360 --> 00:10:07.120 Number one, look in chapter number eight, and I want us to see that God He respects or He receives the offering of Noah. 00:10:08.080 --> 00:10:10.000 Think about Noah. 00:10:10.559 --> 00:10:19.600 Can you put yourself in the place of him and his family as they're on this boat for some 370 days? 00:10:19.840 --> 00:10:39.440 A whole year on the ark, a whole year as the earth has been uh rained upon, as the waters have opened up from uh inside the earth and it's come from above the earth, and now it's been a global flood, and Noah's been on this boat for three, so for some 370 days. 00:10:39.759 --> 00:10:48.480 Surely the visual destruction gave them pause to consider what God had rescued them from. 00:10:48.799 --> 00:10:58.320 Surely the fact that they were on the ark for such a long period of time and they were the only survivors gave them pause to think and to consider. 00:10:58.879 --> 00:11:02.000 Wow, God showed us grace. 00:11:02.559 --> 00:11:07.200 God rescued us, God saved us. 00:11:08.000 --> 00:11:16.960 And it is in this recognition that Noah has the only proper response. 00:11:17.440 --> 00:11:26.960 He gets off of the ark and immediately he builds an altar of worship to the Lord. 00:11:27.440 --> 00:11:30.799 And Noah building an altar unto the Lord. 00:11:31.039 --> 00:11:43.279 And if you remember through the reading of this particular text, there was uh uh both unclean animals and there was clean animals that were brought on to uh Noah's Ark. 00:11:43.519 --> 00:11:53.759 And here he sacrifices the clean animals, the clean beast and the clean fowl, and he offers them as burnt offerings on the altar. 00:11:54.159 --> 00:11:59.600 One commentator states the people of God are a worshiping people. 00:12:00.399 --> 00:12:09.919 The altar it pictures for us the only proper response that we should have towards salvation. 00:12:10.159 --> 00:12:26.320 If you are here this morning and you know Jesus as your Savior, you've put your trust in Jesus Christ, you understand that it's not your works that gets you to heaven, it's not your ability, it's not your goodness, but it's by the grace of God that you are saved. 00:12:26.639 --> they're real young, like Jet's age or when they're like just infants, they're babies, and you have them open up a gift, right? 00:13:25.600 --> 00:13:28.320 Usually you have to have the help them open up a gift. 00:13:28.480 --> 00:13:31.360 And what do they kind of get their attention fixed on? 00:13:31.600 --> 00:13:35.840 Usually it's like the wrapping paper, the box, right? 00:13:36.000 --> 00:13:42.399 They play with the box more than they actually play with the toy, and they get excited about the the silliest things, right? 00:13:42.480 --> 00:13:48.080 And you're like, no, the the gift, the value is in the toy, it's in the present that I offered you. 00:13:48.240 --> 00:13:49.759 It's not in the box. 00:13:50.000 --> 00:13:51.519 Man, I shouldn't have spent the money on it. we get distracted with the things of this world instead of recognizing, man, I have this gift of salvation. 00:14:37.840 --> 00:14:41.679 We can forget the value of it. 00:14:42.080 --> 00:14:49.120 But when we get our hearts, when we sing those songs, Jesus paid it all, all to him I owe. 00:14:49.279 --> 00:15:20.639 When we have a night of communion like we'll have this evening, and we get our eyes and we get our hearts off of the things of the world, and we get them back fixed on Jesus, and we recognize that he didn't just die for the sins of the whole world, but he died for my sins personally, for the crimes that I've committed, that it took the same grace that it took the apostle Paul, who was a murderer, who was a Christian persecutor, it took the same grace that was offered to him to rescue a sinner like me. 00:15:20.720 --> 00:15:33.440 And when we start to consider all the times that we failed and we faltered and we've sinned against God, but Jesus paid it all, then our hearts are ignited in worship to him. 00:15:33.840 --> 00:15:37.279 How could I not sing to my Savior? 00:15:37.519 --> 00:15:40.399 How can I not offer him my life? 00:15:40.639 --> 00:15:46.399 How can I not give him this response of worship? 00:15:46.639 --> 00:15:56.480 I think for Noah, it was no doubt that visual picture there, that visual understanding of being on the ark for a whole year. 00:15:56.799 --> 00:15:58.399 And he's rescued. 00:15:58.720 --> 00:16:02.639 Oh, what great response that he had to build an altar. 00:16:02.879 --> 00:16:05.759 The ark deserves an altar. 00:16:06.559 --> 00:16:09.840 Christ deserves our worship. 00:16:10.799 --> 00:16:22.000 God also, here in this text, what he does, he respects the offering of Noah, but he renews his first commands to mankind. 00:16:22.399 --> 00:16:32.480 If you've been with us throughout this series in Genesis, Genesis chapter number nine, it echoes what we found in Genesis chapter number one. 00:16:32.799 --> 00:16:39.519 Genesis 1, 27 and 28 says, So God created man in his own image. 00:16:39.759 --> 00:16:44.480 In the image of God created he him, male and female created he them. 00:16:44.799 --> 00:17:03.360 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, to Adam and Eve, Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 00:17:03.600 --> 00:17:15.759 Now, here in chapter number nine, this is where God gives second chances because he renews this first commands that he gave to Adam and Eve, and he renews them with Noah. 00:17:16.000 --> 00:17:24.640 And God blessed Noah and his sons and said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth. 00:17:24.960 --> 00:17:42.880 God anticipated that mankind would be his representatives to the rest of creation, that mankind would steward the earth, would steward the image-bearing creatures that we are. 00:17:43.039 --> 00:17:48.799 And so he gives Noah the same mandate that was at the very beginning. 00:17:49.039 --> 00:17:51.359 He gives mankind a second chance. 00:17:51.519 --> 00:18:14.960 Though mankind was exceedingly corrupt, though mankind was exceedingly sinful, God gives a new opportunity and he knows our hearts because he even mentions in verse number 21, he says, at the end of it, they're the middle, for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth, neither will again smite anymore everything living as I have done. 00:18:15.279 --> 00:18:20.720 Man's heart was still exceedingly corrupt, exceedingly sinful. 00:18:20.799 --> 00:18:29.920 And we'll take a look even in Noah's life next week at the wickedness that he had and the sinfulness that he was that he carried as well. 00:18:30.079 --> 00:18:32.880 And so God knows that mankind is corrupt. 00:18:33.119 --> 00:18:55.920 The second chance that God gives man is deeper than repopulating the earth, though he desired that they would fill the earth with more humans and more humanity, but God knew that mankind would still sin, would still fail, would still commit wickedness against him, would still commit idolatry. 00:18:56.240 --> 00:19:04.799 And so what God does here, what we see throughout the Bible, is it's not necessarily a rule book that we're supposed to follow. 00:19:05.119 --> 00:19:10.240 The Bible is an unfolding narrative of redemption. 00:19:10.480 --> 00:19:19.279 And all throughout the Bible, what you see is that mankind is corrupt, mankind is sinful, and we have Though Abraham would be that first patriarch we see in Abraham's life that he commits sin as well. 00:19:33.200 --> 00:19:42.400 Though David would come on the scene and he would be the great king of Israel and he would defeat Goliath, David messes up too. 00:19:42.640 --> 00:19:55.440 Though there would be great prophets, though there would be good kings, though there would be some uh leaders and priests that you could look to in the Bible, all of them would fall short of God's glory. 00:19:55.680 --> 00:20:03.839 And so the Old Testament paints for us this picture that mankind needed something more than a book of rules. 00:20:04.079 --> 00:20:17.279 We needed Jesus Christ to come and to live a perfect life, no sin, no lie, no dishonor, no, no idolatry, no wickedness in Christ at all. 00:20:17.440 --> 00:20:30.559 And what Jesus would do for us is he would die on the cross in our place so that we could have a new heart, a new relationship with God Himself. 00:20:30.960 --> 00:20:41.279 You see, what Genesis 9 points us to, what the Old Testament points us to, is the need for a Messiah, the need for a Savior. 00:20:41.759 --> 00:20:49.920 What your sin points you to is that you fall short and you need a savior more than you need religion. 00:20:50.559 --> 00:20:55.039 You need someone to rescue you from yourself more than you need to be a better person. 00:20:55.359 --> 00:21:09.440 You need Jesus to rescue you from your sin more than you just need your behavior to be changed, and that is a work of grace, and it is only found in the gospel of Jesus Christ. 00:23:53.759 Because Peter was one that, man, I think he sincerely, when he believed on Jesus, he sincerely believed on Jesus. 00:23:54.079 --> 00:23:56.000 Man, he was trusting in Jesus. 00:23:56.160 --> 00:23:59.279 He was, he was gung ho, he was following Jesus, right? 00:23:59.359 --> 00:24:03.039 He was like, man, whatever you need, Lord, we're not gonna run to anyone else. 00:24:03.119 --> 00:24:04.720 Like, you are the Messiah. 00:24:04.880 --> 00:24:06.640 We're all for you, Jesus, right? 00:24:06.720 --> 00:24:11.759 He was the one that was like the first up to the plate, the first up to volunteer. 00:24:12.240 --> 00:24:22.480 And yet we know the crucifixion story as we walk through it in the book of Luke, to where Jesus warned Peter, you're gonna deny me three times tonight. 00:24:22.640 --> 00:24:25.920 You're gonna deny me three times that you even know me. 00:24:26.160 --> 00:24:33.119 And Peter was there by the fire as Jesus was in the courtroom being falsely accused and falsely judged. 00:24:33.200 --> 00:24:40.880 And as Peter was warming himself by the fire, someone noticed, hey, weren't you with Jesus? 00:24:41.440 --> 00:24:42.559 No, no, no, no, no. 00:24:42.640 --> 00:24:44.720 I don't, I don't, no, I don't know him. 00:24:45.200 --> 00:24:47.200 No, I don't, I don't know that man. 00:24:47.519 --> 00:24:49.200 What are you talking about? 00:24:50.000 --> 00:24:53.039 And Peter denied Jesus Christ three times. 00:24:53.279 --> 00:24:54.079 You know what he did? 00:24:54.160 --> 00:25:00.559 I believe he sincerely believed on Jesus Christ as a Savior way back when, when Jesus called him to follow him. 00:25:00.880 --> 00:25:09.440 But Peter here, in a moment of weakness, Peter here in a moment where he chose his idol, where he chose to reject Jesus Christ, was here. 00:25:09.519 --> 00:25:11.279 And he said, No, I don't know him. 00:25:11.920 --> 00:25:13.200 Jesus turned to him. 00:25:13.359 --> 00:25:21.200 Peter goes out and he weeps later after they discover that Jesus is resurrected, that what Jesus said was the truth. 00:25:21.359 --> 00:25:23.920 And Peter knows that Christ is resurrected. 00:25:24.000 --> 00:25:29.440 He tells the guys, the disciples, hey guys, I think I think I'm gonna go back to fishing. 00:25:30.640 --> 00:25:32.799 Yeah, this ministry stuff, you know. 00:25:32.880 --> 00:25:39.200 I know we traveled with Jesus and we went all around, but I'm gonna go back to my old job. 00:25:39.279 --> 00:25:40.720 I'm gonna go back to fishing. 00:25:41.279 --> 00:25:43.680 Some of them say, All right, we're going with you, Peter. 00:25:43.759 --> 00:25:46.240 You're going fishing, we're going back to fishing too. 00:25:46.559 --> 00:25:53.920 Peter goes out on that boat and he tries to fish unsuccessfully. 00:25:54.240 --> 00:26:01.119 He tries to fish unsuccessfully, but here is where we see that God is the God of second chances. 00:26:01.279 --> 00:26:06.400 Even though Peter failed, Jesus came back walking on the seashore. 00:26:06.559 --> 00:26:09.599 And they said, Hey Peter, it's the master. 00:26:10.160 --> 00:26:12.880 It's the rabbi, it's Jesus. 00:26:13.039 --> 00:26:14.960 He's back up on the shore. 00:26:15.279 --> 00:26:22.720 Peter gets his fisherman's coat on, goes into the water, swims to shore, sits down at that fireplace. 00:26:22.960 --> You know I love you, Jesus. 00:26:55.599 --> 00:26:56.880 Feed my sheep. 00:26:57.839 --> 00:27:00.160 You know what Jesus was inviting Peter to? 00:27:00.480 --> 00:27:02.000 A second chance. 00:27:12.160 And and man, when I had the opportunity to witness, I didn't take it. 00:27:12.240 --> 00:27:16.240 And when I had the opportunity to say no to sin, I didn't say no to it. 00:27:16.400 --> 00:27:19.039 But God offers second chances. 00:27:19.200 --> 00:27:28.960 And wherever you're at this morning, if you're here and you've been running from God and you need a relationship with Christ, can I tell you you're not here by accident? 00:27:29.279 --> 00:27:34.000 God wants to give you a second chance to know Him and to follow Him. 00:27:34.160 --> 00:27:43.200 You're here this morning, and yes, I believed and I know sincerely I trusted on Jesus Christ as my Savior, but I failed and I've walked away and I've struggled. 00:27:43.519 --> 00:27:47.680 God desires to give you a 00:28:06.000 Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth. 00:28:06.319 --> 00:28:14.079 Now God changes the dynamic a little bit between man and beast, or between man and the animal kingdom. 00:28:14.160 --> 00:28:24.720 And verse number two, he says, And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, upon all the fishes of the sea. 00:28:24.960 --> 00:28:27.440 Into your hand are they delivered. 00:28:27.680 --> 00:28:34.079 Now the animals look at mankind as predators, and oftentimes they flee, they hide. 00:28:34.559 --> 00:28:42.240 He says, Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you, even as the green herb have I given you all things. 00:28:42.559 --> 00:28:48.400 Many believe before the flood mankind were predominantly they were vegetarians. 00:28:48.559 --> 00:28:59.519 And now here God opens up because the uh uh the earth would have been different, the way uh uh like the visual that Brother Lupe gave this morning, the way things would grow. 00:28:59.680 --> 00:29:13.519 It probably was more abundant before the flood, but now after the flood, the atmosphere is different, uh, the layout of the earth is different, and so now God opens up the door for mankind to um eat animals. 00:29:13.680 --> 00:29:17.839 You can have burgers now, you can have uh these different things, right? 00:29:18.480 --> 00:29:24.640 But in verse number four, he points us to something that is a theme throughout the whole Bible. 00:29:24.880 --> 00:29:32.240 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. 00:29:33.279 --> 00:29:40.720 The blood, throughout the Bible, God gives us the visual of the blood. 00:29:41.279 --> 00:29:46.880 And the blood is not given as an accident, it says it's the lifeblood. 00:29:47.759 --> 00:29:56.000 Without the blood flowing through the animals' veins, without the blood through flowing through our veins, we will die. 00:29:56.480 --> 00:30:02.240 So he tells them that if they were gonna eat these animals, they needed to properly drain it of its blood. 00:30:02.720 --> 00:30:16.400 But here we see this theme, and it will be echoed later on in the Mosaic law and for the priests and how they were to give these offerings unto the Lord, but God begins to allude to it here. 00:30:17.119 --> 00:30:18.079 The blood. 00:30:18.880 --> 00:30:21.359 Why is it so important throughout the Bible? 00:30:21.519 --> 00:30:24.400 Why does God mention the lifeblood here? 00:30:24.559 --> 00:30:32.000 Well, in the New Testament, there would be a blood sacrifice given for us. 00:30:32.400 --> 00:30:41.119 It would be through the Son of God, through Jesus Christ, who died a real death, a physical death, where his blood was shed for us. 00:30:41.359 --> 00:30:57.920 1 Peter 1 says, For as much as ye know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, your salvation was not purchased by corruptible things like silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers. 00:30:58.240 --> 00:31:00.640 But how was your salvation purchased? 00:31:00.880 --> 00:31:02.400 How were you redeemed? 00:31:02.559 --> 00:31:09.440 It was with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 00:31:09.680 --> 00:31:35.359 In Ephesians 1:7, the Bible says, in whom we have redemption through his blood, through the life blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on that rugged cross, through the life blood of Jesus Christ that was poured out for you and for me, our salvation could only come through a sacrifice, a perfect sacrifice in Jesus Christ. 00:31:35.599 --> 00:31:55.680 Then in Revelation, the Bible says in chapter number five, verse nine, and they sung a new song saying, Thou art worthy to take the book and to open the seals thereof, for thou wast slain and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred and tongue and people and nation. 00:31:55.920 --> 00:31:57.039 You may know that song. 00:31:57.440 --> 00:31:59.519 What can wash away my sin? 00:31:59.920 --> 00:32:02.799 Nothing but the blood of Jesus. 00:32:02.960 --> 00:32:10.319 It is not by the works that we can try and offer to God, but it was by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. 00:32:10.640 --> 00:32:19.519 That he, as a hundred percent God and a hundred percent man, actually gave his blood for us as a covering for our sin. 00:32:19.759 --> 00:32:23.279 That our salvation had actually cost Jesus something. 00:32:23.680 --> 00:32:30.640 The blood of Jesus had to be shed in order for our salvation to be purchased. 00:32:31.440 --> 00:32:43.279 Here also, what God does with Noah, what God does for us is he re-emphasizes the value of human life. likeness stamped upon our being, and God re-emphasizes the value of human life. 00:33:03.039 --> 00:33:17.839 He says in verse number five of chapter 9, and surely your blood of your lives will I require, at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man, at the hand of every man's brother, will I require the life of man? 00:33:18.240 --> 00:33:23.119 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed. 00:33:23.359 --> 00:33:27.519 For in the image of God made he man. 00:33:28.160 --> 00:33:32.160 Why does a human life have value? 00:33:32.400 --> 00:33:35.599 Is it because of what they can produce in this world? 00:33:35.839 --> 00:33:37.839 Is it because that they are successful? 00:33:38.079 --> 00:33:40.079 Is it because of this, that, or the other? 00:33:40.240 --> 00:33:44.400 No, our life, every life has value this morning. 00:33:44.880 --> 00:33:51.279 Every life has value in this world because we are the image bearers of God. 00:33:51.920 --> 00:34:04.559 And in taking a life of a human, we are sinning not against not just against humanity, but we are sinning against God Himself. 00:34:05.279 --> 00:34:07.920 The life of a human is precious in the eyes of God. 00:34:08.000 --> 00:34:11.760 My friend, you are precious in the eyes of God. 00:34:12.159 --> 00:34:14.159 We're created in his image. 00:34:14.480 --> 00:34:24.000 God places a high value on human life, and we have the responsibility to value life the way God values life. 00:34:24.480 --> 00:34:30.880 And in verse number six, whoso sheddeth man's blood by man shall his blood be shed. 00:34:31.199 --> 00:34:36.320 God lays out capital punishment, the death penalty. 00:34:36.880 --> 00:34:42.159 Murdering someone else requires justice, the loss of life. 00:34:42.400 --> 00:34:53.199 If you were here for our Joshua series, later on, when God brings the people of Israel into the promised land, he establishes cities of refuge. 00:34:53.440 --> 00:35:07.760 For those who perhaps unfortunately killed someone accidentally, could run to these cities of refuge and be properly judged based off of the incident. 00:35:08.159 --> 00:35:11.119 Was this an accident or was this murder? 00:35:11.599 --> 00:35:15.360 Those that had committed murder would receive the death penalty. 00:35:15.519 --> 00:35:18.400 They would receive justice at the hand --> 00:35:50.719 Then lastly, here this morning, God establishes the Noahic covenant. 00:35:51.119 --> 00:36:04.079 He establishes a covenant with Noah, with his offspring, with the world, each of us, and every living creature that lives on earth. 00:36:04.400 --> 00:36:11.360 It says in verse number nine, and behold, I establish my covenant with you, with your seed after you. 00:36:11.920 --> 00:36:12.880 A covenant. 00:36:13.039 --> 00:36:14.239 What is a covenant? 00:36:14.400 --> 00:36:19.760 It's a it's it's a promise, it's a contractual agreement. 00:36:20.159 --> 00:36:25.280 And in this particular covenant, it's an unconditional covenant. 00:36:25.599 --> 00:36:31.039 God did not say, if you cease to sin, then I will never flood the earth again. 00:36:31.280 --> 00:36:46.159 No, he gives Noah, he gives the universe an unconditional covenant that even though man is incredibly sinful, I will never destroy the earth again through a worldwide flood. 00:36:46.880 --> 00:36:50.079 There'll be no flood to destroy the earth anymore. 00:36:50.320 --> 00:36:51.519 It's unconditional. 00:36:51.679 --> 00:36:58.239 It means that man did not have a responsibility in this contract or promise, he gives us a sign for the covenant. 00:37:49.599 --> 00:37:53.920 The rainbow is a token of God's promise. 00:37:54.159 --> 00:37:57.280 The rainbow is a token of God's mercy. 00:37:57.519 --> 00:38:00.159 The rainbow, and we don't get it as often here and there. 00:38:00.480 --> 00:38:05.679 Well, we've happened getting some more monsoons lately, but we don't get rain as much, right? 00:38:06.079 --> 00:38:19.360 But at times when it rains and you can see that rainbow in the sky after, where the sun hits just perfectly, and you can look at that rainbow in the sky and you can believe the promise of God. 00:38:19.760 --> 00:38:34.880 That God kept his covenant, that though it may rain, and though it may rain longer in some places than it does in others, we can believe the promise of God that he's never gonna send a worldwide global flood. 00:38:35.199 --> 00:38:37.519 The rainbow is a token of God's promise. 00:38:37.760 --> 00:38:44.400 The rainbow is a token of God's mercy, that he will never flood the earth again. 00:38:44.960 --> 00:38:52.559 Even though in our day and age, we face much of the same wickedness that they did in the time of Noah. 00:38:52.960 --> 00:38:57.519 We face much of the same sinfulness, much of the same brokenness. 00:38:58.000 --> 00:39:04.880 Even though we often have a wicked imagination and thoughts to do evil. 00:39:05.519 --> 00:39:09.599 God won't destroy the earth with a worldwide flood. 00:39:09.840 --> 00:39:15.039 However, as we looked at last week, there is a judgment to be prepared for. 00:39:15.599 --> 00:39:17.519 All of us will one day die. 00:39:17.760 --> 00:39:19.679 And after death, the judgment. 00:39:20.079 --> 00:39:22.559 We'll stand before God and give an account of our life. 00:39:22.880 --> 00:39:27.199 Jesus says that he will return and catch away his bride. 00:39:27.519 --> 00:39:33.599 Maybe this morning, he's offering you a second chance that you need to take. 00:39:34.079 --> 00:39:37.679 That second chance, maybe you've heard this before. 00:39:37.920 --> 00:39:40.880 Maybe you've heard the gospel, but you you walked away from it. 00:39:41.039 --> 00:39:44.000 Maybe you heard about Jesus Christ, but you didn't want anything to do with him. 00:39:44.320 --> 00:39:53.679 Maybe this morning is your second chance to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, to repent of your sin and to turn to Christ alone. 00:39:53.920 --> 00:39:59.920 Maybe this morning, Christian, it's a reminder for you that you have a second chance as well. 00:40:00.719 --> 00:40:14.239 To live for him, to follow after him wholeheartedly, to not be distracted by the things of this world, but to believe the same thing that he talked to Peter about. 00:40:14.880 --> 00:40:18.719 When Jesus came to Peter, he came to affirm that he wasn't done with him. 00:40:19.199 --> 00:40:31.360 But Peter goes on, not perfectly, but he goes on to preach throughout the book of Acts, to write uh uh portions of the scripture and to be used of the Lord in mighty ways. 00:40:31.840 --> 00:40:40.239 Maybe this morning you're a Christian, but you need to take the Lord on that
