Hi there and welcome to the Flourish Foundry Podcast. I'm so stoked for this brand new project. I've had this on my heart for over a year and I'm finally putting it out there. For this episode, I just wanted to give you a brief rundown of what to expect from the show. 1. Episode types. Most episodes will be conversational interviews with female business owners. Entrepreneurship can be lonely, daunting, and the perfect habitat for comparison to Fester. The Flourish Foundry podcast aims to shed light in the darkness through hearing other women's stories. I hope you walk away from each episode encouraged, built up, and ready to peacefully pursue your goals. We will attach affiliate links and promotion for anyone we interview so we can create a flourishing community together. Number two, our why. Like I mentioned previously, this is something that's been on my heart for quite some time. If you follow me on Instagram or subscribe to my email list, you probably know I'm searching for ways to expand my network organically rather than looking to go viral. So for me, this podcast is like an audio diary, a place for myself and other women to chat about our dreams, our goals, desires, and the past that created them. Three, our future plans. With that, I also plan to launch an online space to connect other business owners, probably sometime in quarter two. If you don't already know, I am getting married in May, so it may be quarter three before we actually launch the networking aspect, but we'll keep you on the loop. That's why you stay on the email list, after all. I love hosting girls night, so really this is just an extension of that. And number four, our last piece of news for this episode. Stay tuned because next week will be our very first interview, and it's with none other than Molly Marcus, who owns three businesses, one of which has hit over a million dollars in sales right here in the heart of Salt Lake City. She will be giving insight into her story and how to maintain a family-owned business in 2025. With Utah being one of the fastest growing markets in business, I'm so excited to start the conversation with Molly. So I will see you next week.
