Atlanta, or it was a lot like Las Vegas, or it was a lot like New York. 00:11:29.679 --> 00:11:45.360 It was a big metropolitan city, and it was made up mostly of Greek or Hellenist, and and it was it was people who worshiped and served false gods, many gods, other gods, and there was a mixture of Jewish people in there. 00:11:45.519 --> 00:11:51.200 But if you go and read Acts 18, Paul goes into 00:12:14.720 Out of that small group is birthed a church, and he grows that church up into uh at least somewhat of a measure of health where he felt comfortable leaving Corinth to move on and go lead people to Christ and plant new churches elsewhere. 00:12:14.960 --> 00:12:22.559 But he hears through the grapevine and through messaging that the church in Corinth is having a lot of problems.
