kinds of things that will mark the last days, and what you need to be focused on and to remember is because we do not think nearly enough about the return of Jesus. 00:03:10.560 --> 00:03:13.840 We only do we not think enough about Jesus' return or about what comes after Jesus' return, but I just want to put this on the table and you see it repeated phrases that we just read over and over in the 00:09:22.799 There's something that ought to sober us up as we think about the reality that the last days have a last day, and that day is coming, and it certainly will come, and it will come suddenly Testaments, there are times that it has an immediate historical fulfillment context in mind of soon and coming judgment and vindication for the people of God in terms of Old Testament Israel. 00:11:33.919 --> 00:11:49.120 And there's also a sense in which the prophets, you've got to understand this as you read it and interpret it, it's like it has an immediate fulfillment, but it also has a greater future fulfillment where the the day of the Lord is this grand future, cosmic, total, final, both Old and New Testament. 00:11:49.279 --> 00:11:57.279 Look forward to it at the coming and the return of Jesus Christ, where it is final judgment, it is glorious liberation and vindication for the people of God. 00:11:58.159 --> 00:12:00.480 It is called that day. 00:12:01.279 --> companies get hacked and organizations get hacked and individuals get hacked and identities get stolen and bank accounts get hacked, and even if you're expecting it and you've installed the defense 00:13:08.559 --> 00:13:18.399 And it's like you know it's coming, but then when it happens, even if you anticipate the possibility of it of it happening, when it happens, how many know it's still truth of the matter is publicly everything will be laid bare on that day. 00:15:36.240 --> 00:15:44.080 But the reality is under the teaching of the Word of God and the lamp of the Spirit of God, work of the light, and the work of the light means God is on the move and is coming to rescue and redeem, and it's good news. 00:16:13.759 --> 00:16:16.399 For those who are humble in Christ, it's
