I've come to believe something that doesn't show up on a balance sheet: how a company treats its people, tells the truth, and handles its money tells you a lot about the kind of business it is.
Archalos Intelligence is where I think that through out loud. In each episode I look at real companies, often two at a time, through 7 parent categories that traditional financial analysis often leaves out: leadership integrity, culture and employee outcomes, customer loyalty and service, operational excellence, incentives and pay practices, capital discipline, and governance and reputation.
I talk through what I see, where the two companies differ, and the questions those differences raise for a long-term investor. This isn't a stock-picking show, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. It's a show about character as a lens, for investors, for business owners, and for anyone trying to do the right thing in their own work and wondering whether it holds up over time. If you've ever suspected that how a company behaves is connected to how it lasts, I think you'll find this worth your time.
