But uh first up, we got the Casilius annual Puerto Rican Day Parade on Sunday, September 27th at 12.30 p.m. 23 uh 2.3 p.m. A celebration of culture, music, and community along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Guys, that sounds really fire. Yeah, you know, like come on. It's for what, that's about three hours. Yeah, man. And it's a parade, bro.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, celebrate the culture, man. Yeah, you know but uh what we got coming up next. Uh so we got uh Anthony Jess Link, I think that's how you say his name. Wrath of Man from September 25th to the 26th at the Miller Theater. Stand-up comedy performances presented by the Ensemble Arts. A little different man. Got some comedy, you know, gotta get our laughs in.

Up next, we have the Art Battle, Philadelphia, Friday, September 25th, at 6 p.m. till 10 p.m. at Spin Philadelphia, a live competitive painting tournament. Oh shit. That's a painting tournament. Painting tournament sounds wild. I kind of wonder what they will, you know. They gotta be really some like some talented modern rural talented.

SPEAKER_03You know, for a uh a paint tournament. I never heard of something like that neither. I'm very interested in that. That's intriguing.
SPEAKER_01Very intriguing, man. Then we got the city pickle pop-up, man, September 20th, up until October 30th at Dillworth Park. Wow. Outdoor pickleball courts and seasonal food and drinks. So if y'all play pickleball and y'all are in for some seasonal food, I'm I don't know what they mean by seasonal, maybe like some pumpkin spices, some apple shit, you know what I'm saying? The snow caramel apples.

Interview Of The Month : Lil Stevey 🔥
SPEAKER_03Welcome back to Stody Pods, and I got Lil' Stevie here with me, and I'm gonna ask him a couple questions. So the first question I have for you, Lil Stevie, is how did you begin your music journey?
SPEAKER_04Well, like how I began my mood music journey. I was listening to other artists throughout the city and throughout the world, and I had like a little team, and we would go to the studios on days we had free time, and you know, we would just play around with it at first, but as we got older, like our mentality started to change about music, and we wound up basically going through what we talk about. So will life will life hit you and and makes you become a better artist.
SPEAKER_03Okay, so you guys motivated each other to do better, right? I like that. It's very inspirational. What's something you went through in your life that changed the way that made your music today? I'm sorry, the way that you will make music today.
SPEAKER_04Well, like by failing sorry, by failing and not making the best songs, and hearing people's feedback and negative energy and positive energy, hearing all types of feedback, and me putting my own feedback into what I made, and me learning how to manage like work with my music more and grow from it from when I started making music to when I make music now.
SPEAKER_03Gotcha. It's awesome. You gotta keep progressing and keep you know elevating yourself to do better. That's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_03So um, what do you have planned to upcoming? Like, you got any music upcoming?
SPEAKER_04Well, I got I got an EP ready. I got an EP coming soon. I want to kind of drop it by November, December ish. But I want to shoot a music video to it for sure, too. Cool. So you want to So I want to shoot at least two music videos for it.
SPEAKER_03Do you want to do the music videos first before you drop this?
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna do one music video and then I'm gonna drop the EP, then I'm gonna wait like two or three weeks and I'm gonna drop the other music video.
SPEAKER_03Also, do you uh you have a name for this?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's actually called Cry for the Streets, EP.
SPEAKER_03I like that. That's for that's a nice hit. Yeah, so this is all gonna be pain songs. Yeah, for sure. Nice, nice. So we're gonna be hearing stuff that happened to you in previous life that you know bothered you, hurt you, or things, you know, like bad things to happen around you. Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_04I like that. Especially like from where we come from. We come from Philly, so you know, cry for the streets, that that I think that rings a bell for a lot of shit.
SPEAKER_03Philly does get a little more rugged, especially certain areas. I agree with you. So um, if everything goes exactly how you envision what you're doing right now, where do you see yourself three to five years from now?
SPEAKER_04Well, I see I see myself like not being just a rapper, being a full-time artist, making country music, making, you know, pain music, making love music. Okay, so you wanna I want to be versatile.
SPEAKER_03Okay, so yeah, you want to be diverse, you want to learn more things than being, you know, what you normally do.
SPEAKER_04And I already and and like I already kind of got that country shit on Smash a little bit. I just never really put it to the test, but you know, it's always a good time for something. So we're gonna make that time happen too.
SPEAKER_03That's good. I'm glad to hear that. You know, you uh sounds like you're really passionate about what you're doing. I hope that you uh you keep doing what you're doing, you know.
SPEAKER_04For sure.
SPEAKER_03You've sent me a couple of your things, you know, and you know, you're really talented, dude.
SPEAKER_04Thank you, bro. I appreciate that.
SPEAKER_03You know, and if you keep going, I guarantee within three to five years from now, you you you'll be up there, man. For sure. You know, like don't listen to what are these people telling you.
SPEAKER_04Not even just three to five years. You can you can take your music serious this year and be virtual next year.
SPEAKER_03See? And that's the type of mentality that, you know, you guys like guys like you, artists need to have. You know. Like you can't just make music and think, damn, ain't nobody gonna listen to this, or damn, I could have done better. Now, if you know you could have done better, you mean and not speaking, you know, speaking generally, you gotta redo that because you know you can elevate yourself just like how remember you you sent me uh your one little song the other day.
SPEAKER_04You said on the phone with me, you said I didn't like how the beginning was, you know, I want to go back and over to you know, like but I also feel like that that's also growing as an artist too, because when you when you make music, you gotta learn like how you want it to go, like how you want it to be and how other people will want it to be. Right. And you gotta make sure your voice is, you know, A1, you gotta make sure everything's on point. Absolutely, especially the producers, too. But their producers don't, you know, they'll work with you, you just gotta work with yourself, right?
SPEAKER_03So I will say engineering is a big thing because one little engineering off from a producer's end from your song, a great song could turn into a bad song by making you sound you know funky or too robotic, like if you use auto-tune.
SPEAKER_04Um and like I ain't gonna lie, like I be telling them not to put auto-tune, but you know sometimes you might need it. It's nothing wrong with putting auto-tune, just learn how you want your voice to sound when you're making music because it's you. You're you can't speak for somebody else's voice. You gotta learn how to do it. This is your vision. This is this is your journey.
SPEAKER_03This is this is what your path needs to be. For sure. Um, also for my last question, do you have any plans on feature with anybody upcoming?
SPEAKER_04Or yeah, I'll I I'm gonna feature with people.
SPEAKER_03I I've just got do you have anybody in mind that you would like to feature with? Or are you just open to features?
SPEAKER_04Just open to features. Cool. Yeah, you know, that's a good thing. Different artists, learn different artists, you know. Yeah, I think the best thing is to encounter with other artists.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, well, like how you were just saying, like, you know, where you began, you you had a team. Yeah, I think it's always the best thing to be around people.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, me and my team, like me and my team are gonna make it like Yeah, I still got my team. We just you know, everything fell off a little bit.
SPEAKER_03Okay, so like you guys don't talk like that.
SPEAKER_04Nah, not really. We kind of like pretty much on our own thing, but we are still making music.
SPEAKER_03Everybody's still making music because y'all all soloed. Okay, y'all still talk?

SPEAKER_01What is good, y'all? This is the fitness time, so we got a question right now. What is your absolute favorite way to spend a true rest day? What do you say, Sto?
SPEAKER_02A true rest day? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Um a true rest day to me would probably be like taking a personal day, taking care of things that you know that I would need to take care of. Like probably. So what would you do in the morning? So on your rest day, what would you start? Why would you start it? I would start my morning. I I'd probably start it by taking a walk, get my hair cut done. Okay. You know, I'd get a little bit of cardio in. Nice. You know, since I'm walking. Yeah. Um, probably do some laundry. Okay. You know, take care of the stuff around the house, enjoy the outdoors weather, you know, if it's nice, relax. Um, maybe watch a movie. You know.
SPEAKER_01You know, it depends on how I'm feeling that day. You cooking yourself a good meal on that res day?
SPEAKER_03Absolutely. What you fucking so, um, actually, recently we just made uh imitations of KFC bowls with popcorn. Oh popcorn chicken.
SPEAKER_01Oh, what do you call them, Johns? I make them too. I call them Geordi famous bowls. We didn't we didn't give it a name. You have to, it's the John, it's the it's the Swervo bowls, man. SPEAKER_03Yeah, I was gonna say, I guess because eating it consistently, that's weird. That density, the texture becomes you you kind of get like nursed out. Fucking and I get that. That's very understandable. I get tired of things like that too, especially when like I'm like, oh, that was really good. I can't wait to have more of it, and then I'm like benching it and then I'm like, ah. You get sick of it.

Regarding the four o'clock game, we got the Ravens visiting the Cowboys. The Ravens are favored by three and a half. Of course, I hate it. I hate the Cowboys. This game this game yells at the Ravens. Should win, but the Cowboys can sneak this one out. I wouldn't be surprised if the Cowboys win this in overtime on the last uh two-minute drive in the fourth quarter. Eight o'clock game for Sunday night. We got the Rams visiting the Broncos. I think this is gonna be a defensive game, very close. The Rams are favored by two and a half points. I'm gonna take the Rams just straight up. I'd be surprised if they lose this one. Because if they do lose this one, then uh, you know, everyone in the league starts to look at them differently. And then regarding Monday night, we know we know who the fuck is playing on Monday night. The Philadelphia Eagles visiting the Chicago Bears. Whether Caleb Williams plays or not, I'm highly confident we'll come out with a dab on top. But we'll be moving on to next week. No. Now, before I jump into my part later the week, I do got a special guest. My brother from another mother. I won't introduce him. I'll let him introduce himself. Do we really need to say I'm going with Eagles all day? But uh if y'all gonna do any player props on that game, don't touch Saquon Bart. The whole industry is on Saquon. When you see everybody's on one person, feed that person. Because as you see, those people, those prime-time players been getting hurt into the messing up your parlays. It was still hot, bro, which is crazy to me, man. Now, the crazy part about that whole game was with less than two minutes left, the Eagles are trailing down 20 to 17. And you know, Jalen hurts so good. That's the fucking GOAT, man. Orchestrated a flawless nine-play, 65-yard, two-minute drill. He marched down. He marched them down the field and threw a beautiful three-yard game-winning touchdown. Yes, he did. To Darius Cooper with just nine seconds left on the clock. It was beautiful, man. It was great. And this win broke a historic curse. It's the first time the Eagles have defeated the Titans in Tennessee, man. Franchise. Crazy work. Side note, Zach Ertz has officially returned to Philly. With Goddard being banged up, the Eagles signed the franchise legend to the practice squad. Ertz flew into Philly this week saying his family was in tears of joy, and his kids are already practicing the E, A, G, O, E, S, Eagles, Chant. Expect him to be elevated to the main roster quickly if Goddard misses more time. That's awesome.
