Uh, you know, hilarious, also healing. It's just uh we it's just two best friends that have known each other for over 20 years.
SPEAKER_03The ins and outs.
SPEAKER_02Not you interrupting me, but the back the front and um yeah. Shut up, huh? We just uh we've survived a lot together and we're able to laugh about it now. So I just I don't know. I think we want this to feel like you're able to sit in a room with two best friends and like be able to talk to us and just fill the vibes.
SPEAKER_03Sitting right here on the couch with us.
SPEAKER_02We want to talk about all the conversations that the girls have in the group chats that don't make it out of the group chats that people are afraid of.
SPEAKER_03The late nights, the crying, the the behind the scenes, the shit that no men would ever hear from us because we die on Silent Hill. Not you, babe, but me. Yeah, you die on Silent Hill, not me.
SPEAKER_02Um, but yeah, we just want it to be raw and just authentic. And, you know, we want the ladies to be able to feel like after you're done listening to us, you're not alone. You're not alone. We're gonna say it out loud, babe, for you. Yep. You know what I mean? You know, or our home dudes, you know, whatever.
SPEAKER_03It's all good. We got it, fellas are listening. Yes, shout out to Thomas. Shout out to Thomas, thank you, buddy, for being so accommodating and amazing. Yes, Astro Labs. Here we go.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, seriously, thank you for for having us really quick. I do want to touch on Thomas because he's been amazing.
SPEAKER_00What?
SPEAKER_02I mean, hold up, hold up. He said, I'm taken, bitch. I'm a taken man. Yes, he is a taken man, but no, like seriously, thank you so much to Astro Sound Lab and for you, Thomas, just providing the studio, the space, equipment, and help, you know, bringing absolutely not just to life. That part, all of it. Of course, y'all. Yeah, of course, thank you so much for making this blow for sure.
SPEAKER_03So here we go. Um, Casey, let's let's touch on your story. Love it. Let's sort of who are you? Who are you? Where are you from, babe? I'm Casey, babe. I'm here, I'm out here. I'm I was born and raised here in um Merino, Nevada, but my family's from Detroit, baby. Motown. Um, so that's where the little spice comes from. But um, been through a lot. I don't have a lot of um advice that you should um go off of.
SPEAKER_02We're definitely two bitches that should not be giving advice.
SPEAKER_03However, I am an open book. I have never, I wear my heart on my sleeve. I don't, I'm very honest, and uh, that's what I have to offer. With this podcast, there's gonna be some laughs, there's gonna be some cries, there's gonna be some real talk, but there's also gonna be just authenticness, and that's what you can expect from me from this pod. Um, Joe, I fucking love you to pieces, and I've known you forever, and a lot of the things that we've been through, bitch. Um, I don't know that I would have been able to get through without you, huh? Yeah, so there it is, right there. That in a nutshell, baby. Yes.
SPEAKER_02Well, and I'm Giovanna. I've been in um Reno since 2000. I was originally born in the Bay Area, grew up there, and then moved here going into my sophomore year of high school, which is where I met Casey. Different circles. Yeah, we'll get in that we'll get into that. But yeah, just uh have been here since my sophomore year, left a couple times, went back to the Bay Area, you know, just didn't work out, ended up coming back here. And I'm a mother of two beautiful children. Um and yeah, I mean, you can expect some really raw um conversations from me as well. A lot of emotion. I'm a lot more sensitive than Casey. So I'll probably be a little more emotional and uh than Casey is, but um I'll be I'll bring the raw miss.
SPEAKER_03Who's that?
SPEAKER_02You know, but you can expect a little chaos from me too, though. So um, yeah, I'm just just here uh wanting to do this with my best friend. It's been a long time. We've talked about it forever.
SPEAKER_03So is everyone else, girl?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so we've known each other for over 20 years, and um we met in high school, like I said. Um my first I, you know, I'm gonna touch on my first impression.
SPEAKER_03Oh god, here we go. Here it is. It's crazy because we ran in, we ran in different circles, like same, same, but different, but sort of like we knew you uh you knew me, I knew you.
SPEAKER_02Yes, you know we kind of knew of each other. We didn't really I knew Casey, she was like the working like sophomore who had a job already. She drove this cute little Jetta. She she was about she was about her paper, babes. She was always she was always getting that money in high school. And I was like this new girl who came. I didn't know anybody. Sports girly pop. Yep, I was definitely a soccer girl. And uh I we didn't we didn't hang out in high school, but we were just we knew of each other. Yeah, yeah. And then um she kind of gave the vibe of like I'm a bitch. And you did, you did, you didn't. Which is crazy because I'm not really like you're not, but like you do give the vibe of like oh, don't approach me, bitch. It was like, I don't know. Um, but you I definitely wanted to like get to know you, but I I think I was I was so shy when I first I'm definitely not, right? Right, no, not now, but you just know but in high school I was like super super shy, and then here I am moving to this new state. I knew nobody and you know you were kind of like a wild thing, just doing your thing.
SPEAKER_03All day, baby, yeah, crazy Casey. If people could describe me, it would always be like, oh, crazy Casey. That's like the description.
SPEAKER_02Crazy or Scoopers Casey, Scoopers Casey, yeah. She worked at Scoopers, and uh yeah, you were you were just so beautiful and just outgoing and just loud, didn't give a fuck. You know, and you still don't still the same, baby. Yeah, you're still the same. So that was my first impression of you. And then we um later on down the line met in not not met, but met up again, I should say, in beauty school. Milan Institute, baby, shout out. Yes, we met alums here, yeah. We started going to beauty school together, but um, that was my first impression of you. Yeah, just just a beautiful person, but like I just uh intimidating to approach. Like you gave, don't fucking talk to me. And again, you were just about your papers, so that was cool.
SPEAKER_03I will say my first impression of you, yes, you came in around sophomore year, you were the new girl, and I think my first impression was like, wow, she is really cute. And I'll tell you what, ladies and gentlemen, she has remained the same person since that moment. Like Giovanna, you will you will never catch her slipping ever. You will see her on a Tuesday afternoon at the corner mart, and she is, I wouldn't say done up, but she likes she very much puts herself together every morning, and that's just who she is. Just know that if you're hanging out with Giovanna and you don't want to feel like a bum, go ahead and take a shower and get your hair done and wear like a cute little set, okay? You don't have to be all done up, but bitch, I love that for you. You know what I mean? Because you motivate me to also want to like get my library.
SPEAKER_02She's always like, bitch you're a walking filter.
SPEAKER_03I hate that. It's totally true. The what you see is what you get. For me, babe, I'm either really screamy or I'm on like on 10. So there's just no in between. Bitch, I definitely have bum in me too. Like, come on. She's lying, bitch. No, um, she's lying. But um, yeah, so I just remember like seeing you and and encountering you a few times, and you were always just very sweet and very nice. I will say, and I want to fucking touch on this, okay? Touch on it. Yeah, we're gonna touch on this because ever since I've known you, even before we became really close, bitches like are so weird with you. Super fucking weird. And I'll never understand that shit. I don't know. I don't get it either. Secret hate is haterism, is that the word hatesm? Yeah, the riz. Just made it up, but yeah, just made it up, and here we go. Um, but like it'll be like the the weird competition shit, or people have like some sort of jealousy or undertones about you. And at the end of the day, you are just really genuinely a beautiful person inside and out. And I truly believe that if someone is like looks good for their age and they look good on the outside, it's because they're good on the inside. Period. I said what the fuck I said. No, but you know, I appreciate that, and it is something I deal with up until your sister's seen it, a bunch of our friends seen it, your girlfriend seen it. It's weirdo bitch energy.
SPEAKER_02I deal with it today.
SPEAKER_03Like it's it's a weird thing with women because they can never be what you are on the inside, no matter how many lips they get done, how many fucking eyelashes, all that shit, bitch, they'll never be javelinic.
SPEAKER_02And it's crazy that because I'm not the type of person to ever be in competition with anybody. Because you're not a weirdo bitch. Well, and I'm such a girls' girl. Like I But there's I don't, I'm not, yeah, I'm not out here to be in competition. I would rather like love on all the women and like you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03But like, I don't feel like I've ever I've ever given like And this is where our podcast comes into play, babies. Okay? Here's what I will say. I'm gonna cut you off real quick because cut to Milan, all right? Yeah. I knew I knew you, but you motherfucker, I was day class and you were night. Yeah. And when I walked in, I was like, I know that bitch, but you had the sickest fucking haircut that nobody else, and I mean nobody. Okay, bitch. And you know what the fuck I'm saying, girl, can pull that haircut off like Jama Jiavanna. Javonna come. We're gonna cut that out there. Thank you, Thomas. Fuck you, bitch.
SPEAKER_01Um, but no, for here we go. It started. She's stroking out. Stroking out. I'm nervous.
SPEAKER_03We'll cut that out. But what I will say is you had this really cool ass haircut, and you had this cool style of a match, and it was such a moment, babe. Yeah. Like honestly, it was such a moment. You're the only person that can pull that off. Thank you. And I it was a dope hair.
SPEAKER_02I had it for like nine years. Yeah, but in different variations.
SPEAKER_00What was the haircut?
SPEAKER_02So it was like this asymmetrical haircut um with steps. It was super short. Yeah, when I first did it, so I like basically shaved my entire head like on this on the perimeter of my head. Uh-huh. But then it was like a little bit, I had a little bit of hair on one side. Like I obviously. Not the Karen, though. It wasn't a Karen, but I'll show you some pictures, Thomas. Yeah. But um, yeah, it was a just a really short, edgy, nobody was doing that haircut. Nobody. Nobody. Until someone tried it. And uh, you needed some hair, baby. It's crazy because um I think a lot of girls ended up getting that haircut in beauty school. It was like why? And why? Because I'm a transeta. No, but um, uh, some of the girls that tried, I love them. Like, I love them. Okay. You know, I'm not gonna hate on them because it's a copycat situation though.
SPEAKER_03But you know, maybe they just like the haircut. Right. But you're the only one that could pull it off. I said what I fucking said. Okay. Yeah, it was it was a that was a moment for that. But that was totally a moment with your style and everything, and immediately I just remember like, because I would have to make up time in order to like be on night, so I was there just all the time because listen.
SPEAKER_02And so you weren't coming to class.
SPEAKER_03Well, it was the summertime, and I was also like 22. But I remember us being in the in the um break room, and it was like somebody said some stupid ass shit, and me and you both would take it. We looked at each other like absolutely not, sis. Yeah, and then immediately we were like, well, so that was our thing. We would look in in the mirrors. Yeah. Because when you're in beauty school, there's just mirrors. So we would look at each other and we would catch eye contact and be like, She did not do that. No, no, she did not. But she totally did. She did. Okay, meet me up at my house because we're about to talk shit about this ho. Oh, literally.
SPEAKER_02But um, but yeah, that's I mean, since you cut to beauty school, that's where we kind of became super close.
SPEAKER_03We'll talk about the super, super closeness episode two, baby.
SPEAKER_02Um, we I mean, we'll touch on some of it tonight. Sure, yeah. But we became so inseparable. And I was pregnant. I got pregnant in beauty school. Um, I was married. I was there for your son's birth. Yep. Casey was married. Were you married at that time? You weren't married at that time. No, no, no, we were married too much.
SPEAKER_03But we were together for like seven years or six years or whatever the fuck.
SPEAKER_02Was it only seven years at that time?
SPEAKER_03I think it was only actually six. Yeah. It's crazy.
SPEAKER_02I know that it's because bitch, blah blah blah. Yeah, but La la la la la. But um, yeah, I was pregnant, and then um we became inseparable and then started hanging out, and then introduced our husbands at the time. Oh, my husband, her boyfriend, and then they became like brothers pretty much, and we'll get into that, but that's kind of how we beauty school brought us back together. Like sure.
SPEAKER_03Really getting out Milan.
SPEAKER_02Really getting shout out, Milan. But uh serious.
SPEAKER_03We really got to know each other, I feel like. Yeah, for sure, for sure. Because you became because you came out of your shell a little bit, because like you said, you were shyer in high school. For sure. You got picked on a lot for no fucking reason, okay? Other than the fact that you were cute, Beach. I really did, bitch, but then we came into Milan and you were like, I'm I said what the fuck I said.
SPEAKER_02When I came to Sparks High, ill. Um I came to Sparks High. And it was such a transition for me because coming from the Bay Area where I'm at this huge high school, I mean the culture is so different. Right. And then I come here and I'm like, mmm, mom, we have horses next door. I was so thrown off. What's that? Is that a dog or is that a coyote? And I just felt like my style and how I was like, I was just this California girl. And I was individual. Yes. I was so different than the Hicks. Um I don't know what else to call them.
SPEAKER_03But I mean, I swear. And you were in the cuts, babe. You were way out there with all the hicks.
SPEAKER_02I remember wearing my little Tommy Hill figure overalls. And I remember those? Yeah, bitches were like the thing. And I'm like, bitch, I don't own Wranglers.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no, I'm not having a piece of freaking uh corn seed in the thing there.
SPEAKER_02No. It was just the just the vibe was different, and I think I was judged for that, unfortunately.
SPEAKER_03That's just how you know. But you've always had your own style. And me too. Me too. Different, different, but same. Same, same, but different.
SPEAKER_02But yeah, it was um, yeah, I was hated on bad, bro. And you still are, bitch. You are yeah, not by me though. Not by you.
SPEAKER_03We love you. No, but you know, there's people, but shout out to my bitch Hannah, who became who became we'll say Hannah. Yes, because she didn't fuck with nobody, baby. And she And she was the one in high school.
SPEAKER_02She literally took me under her wing at Sparks High and was like, tell these bitches to fuck off. Yep. And I was like, fuck off. Fuck off. You know what I mean? Like, yeah.
SPEAKER_03And when she had your back, everyone else was like, fall in line, bitch. Yeah, because she will. Hannah didn't give no fucks. No, no fucks. Yeah. So shout out, Hannah, babe. Shout out to you, babes. Yes, we love you, boo-boos. We love you. Well, I didn't really know you, but we love you from a from afar.
SPEAKER_02She, yeah, she uh vibe. She really came first. A vibe for me.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_02I remember the girls I were hanging out with, they were getting like burritos thrown at them and shit in the hallway, and I'm like, Ew. Don't make me get Hannah bad.
SPEAKER_03That part right there.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god. But um, but so yeah. Yeah. I I don't know why I'm hated on, but you know because you're cute, babe, and you're just uh you know what?
SPEAKER_03You're just that bitch. And so I appreciate it. There's always gonna be people that just hate for no reason, and you know what, go get some therapy, baby boo-boo. Why don't you have a Mickey's boo?
SPEAKER_02But you know, since we're talking about that, I think the biggest misconception about me is that I feel like everyone thinks I'm so confident all the time. Right. And because you're always so put together, and I'm not, like I'm really just good at pretending. I don't know. Like, you gotta fake it till you make it, babe. You know what I mean? Like, I think it's good to have confidence, but I think again, people have this misconception of me that I'm like this cocky, like full of yourself ass bitch. And that's just not the truth. I'm it's I'm so far from it. Far from it. Like, I have so many insecurities. And like, again, you just gotta fake it till you make it, babe.
SPEAKER_03And a misconception about me is that I'm always like, I don't give a fuck about anything, my feelings, whatever. But I'll tell you what, baby, I am very soft and I won't show it a lot, but behind closed doors, two o'clock, three o'clock in the morning, I am in my fucking feelings, overanalyzing everything about life.
SPEAKER_02And when it's overanalyzing, I'm sorry to cut you off, but this is so fucking annoying. So I love this bitch, but she will literally type out a text message and she'll be like, she'll call me and she'll be like, bitch, okay, this is what I have. And I'm about to send this. And let me read it to you. And I'm like, okay, go ahead, babe, read it out. Let's hear it. And she'll read it, and I'm like, oh my god, perfect. Send it. She's like, that's it's good. And I'm like, perfect, send it. Archive it. This bitch will literally sit on it for three days, four days. And I'm like, I'm like waiting for like the response. I'm like, did you send it? What did he say? She's like, bitch, it I I never sent it. I'm still thinking about it. And I'm like, not three days later. I have to get the punctuation right.
SPEAKER_03I have to get all the things, I have to just like he says she overanalyzes.
SPEAKER_02She is not fucking lying. Because me, bitch, I'm impulsive and I'm sending it.
SPEAKER_03And so for me, I just feel like, yeah, you and that what and here's the thing that bugs me about you, babe, is you'll fucking sit there and be like, I need your opinion on something. And then you'll fucking get my opinion and be like, I'm gonna do what I want anyway. Bye. Yeah, literally. It's like, why did you even call me big? So much for your yeah, but I'm gonna go back to the biggest. I'm gonna go left. I'm gonna go left. Hard left. Yeah, but she will.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think that's yeah, that's a big mix.
SPEAKER_03But I honestly I'm not. And also what I hate the most is when people tell me that I'm unapproachable or I'm intimidating. Because But I said that too. People think you're mean. But like stand on business. Like, if you come up to me, I will never just be like a rude bitch. I will never be heartless and rude. You're not whatever for no reason. It just is like my face or my aura, I guess, whatever. But also when I'm with my bitches, I'm with my bitches, and that's who I'm with. Right. I'm not out there surfing for dicks. Yeah. Okay. I don't need you coming up and whatever when I'm vibing with my girls. But you're also really good at like peeping.
SPEAKER_02Uh you're you're really good at peeping that.
SPEAKER_03That's not the one. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, I stink. You stink. Yeah, I had a sulfur. I had a pant.
SPEAKER_02I had a friend that we're not gonna name names, but I had a friend. Uh no. Let's leave it out. Um but I had a friend back in the day, and Casey did not meet. She didn't like her at all. And she called it from the jump, like this girl is trying to be you. And I was like, Really? Like, I'm just all like I peep. Do-to-do, like, yeah, totally do-to-do. Girl, she yeah, she's like, girl, no, she's not your friend.
SPEAKER_03She's not your friend. And because here's what it is, dude. Because immediately we're at my freaking nephew's birthday party. And I'm sitting there, and it's me, my ex, and my daughter. We're taking a picture and we're sitting on the fucking cooler. And this bitch comes up and is like, let me get up in here, girl. And I'm like, I'm sorry.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03So I'm in the middle of a picture. Slowly get up as slow as I can, like a slough. And I get up and I'm like, what do you mean? Like, doesn't even introduce herself. Immediately, I'm like, I'm the main here, babe. I'm the main one, okay? You're the side bestie. Yeah. The backup plan.
SPEAKER_02But you're really good at calling calling things out.
SPEAKER_03I didn't say it out loud though. I kept that to myself. You know? No, you didn't, babe. I totally did. You told me forever that you're well later I told you, but I didn't fucking call her out at the birthday party at your son's birthday party. That was trashy. I could have been trashy though. Yeah. But I like making people feel super awkward or um uncomfortable. And then like, I'll call you out, and it's like, oh, oh, we're not saying it with our chests now. Yeah. You oh. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So anyway. I think, yeah, I think people think you're mean, but you you truly aren't. You you really you're really a sweet person.
SPEAKER_03And now like that I'm older, um, I'm just mama bear. Yeah, especially with the peeps that I work with. Like, I work with a lot of like young kids, young people. You know, going to UNR and I just I'm Mama Bear, you know, and I love that. You know, I never thought that I would love that because that's kind of what the fuck? However, you know, like I just so whatever. Whatever, babes. Whatever, babes.
SPEAKER_02Um let's do some rapid fire questions. Okay. Um let me pull out my handy dandy little notes. Handy dandy. Backpack, backpack, backpack, backpack. Okay. Coffee or coke. I already know what you're gonna say.
SPEAKER_03I'm gonna say iced tea. Neither? Neither. I'm an iced tea girly pop.
SPEAKER_02Unleaded. Marriage or situation ship.
SPEAKER_03Ugh. I mean, not situation ship, eh, but also I don't know about marriage either. I think I'm more like, don't be a scumbag. And then we can be in a relationship. Situation ship. Okay. Boom.
SPEAKER_02Um, what else?
SPEAKER_03What else? Uh, night in or Vegas? Night in. Why? Because, yeah, I don't want to be in Vegas. I don't want to be out people. Fuck that. That sounds like a miserable experience.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Once in a while. What about you?
SPEAKER_03Little Vegas trip. Oh, yeah. So Vegas then for you. Might not hurt, no, but.
SPEAKER_02Oh, she out there. She out here. Um ghosting or being ghosted. Ooh, I'd rather ghost. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, because if you ghost me, I'll the tables are turned for fucking six months about it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Why'd he ghost me? Why'd she ghost me? Yeah, she's gonna think about it.
SPEAKER_03I said, yes, I did. I sprinkled that in. You're welcome. Okay.
SPEAKER_02Um therapy or Target?
SPEAKER_03Or what? Target. Oh, Target. No, I'm just kidding. Uh I'm in therapy, but I do like a Target trip, babe. But that's rough on the wallet. Well, you know what? They're both rough on the wallet. So I'm gonna go ahead and get Target. Because at least I got an instant gratification with that, you know? I got my instant bath towels that I wanted and the cool ass rug for the living room right away. You know? I didn't have to heal for that.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god. Okay, so I already know what you're gonna say to this, but for the listeners, uh, would you prefer to text or FaceTime? Oh, text, babe.
SPEAKER_03Text. Don't you ever FaceTime me. And if you FaceTime me, I get you know like three hours in advance. Because if I look like a Bum Skaroonie. No, she'll stare at the phone, like Oh, yeah, I'll let it ring, babe.
SPEAKER_02Or the and I'm the same way. Like, oh no, I love a good FaceTime. I I love FaceTiming. I love FaceTime. No, you're a FaceTime girl. Stop playing. Don't front at all.
SPEAKER_03You're a FaceTimer.
SPEAKER_02I'm a FaceTimer and I love talking on the phone. I want to lick the phone. Like, I want to hear your tones. Tony through the phone. I don't care. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, I need I need all of that. And I she's polar opposite.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no. Don't you dare FaceTime me ever.
SPEAKER_02What I can't stand is when you call me on Instagram.
SPEAKER_03Oh, do don't you dare?
SPEAKER_02Don't you fucking ever in your life.
SPEAKER_03Don't you call me on social media, you thirsty Theodore. Yeah. Okay? Hey, can uh can I get your Snapchat ass bitch? No. Uh-uh. Bye-bye. No. Yeah, that shit sends me. Sorry, that sends me.
SPEAKER_02I'm not why are you calling me on Facebook?
SPEAKER_03And I'll make fun of you to all my friends. Instagram. Look at this guy calling me. Not this guy calling me on a social media app. What are we doing here? Hiding it from your wife? What the fuck is happening here? I hate you. Don't you do that again. Eva. Blocked. The fuck.
SPEAKER_02That one's not. Yeah, that one's not it. I don't like that one. Um red flags or ignore them. Oh, bitch.
SPEAKER_03I'm a notorious red flag ignorer. However, today, as a I think in the past. Healed girly pop. We were red flags. I'm gonna say, um, no, I peep the into a fault though. I peep the red flags, and it's like, was it really a red flag? Do you know what I mean? Like, I don't know. But for me, I peep red flags right away. And listen, I'll never fucking talk to you again ever. Yeah. And I'm just a silent hill girly pop. We'll play silent library all fucking day, babe. She will. Done. I hate it. Your red flags, bye. I'm sorry. Yeah, I hate it though. You asked me for my Snapchat e-mail.
SPEAKER_02I'm like, you fucking said what to you? You better fucking send that text now. And she's like, no, bitch, I'm not saying anything. And I'm like, oh hell no. Like, you gotta get something out. You can't let that motherfucker say that to you.
SPEAKER_03Cry alone or in front of someone.
SPEAKER_02Oh, you throwing them at me now?
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_02Um, okay, cry alone or in front of someone. Cry in front of someone? It depends. Bitch, I'm a crier. I I'm not gonna sit here and say I don't cry.
SPEAKER_03Alone.
SPEAKER_02That's my crazy. But it depends on what it is. Like, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Cry in the shower like a winter.
SPEAKER_02Probably you cry in the shower like a winter, bitch. Um yeah, I'd probably want to cry alone. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So for you, I mean, we already know all that, but how about you? Marriage or situationship? Um I think I know this answer, but for the listeners.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, uh marriage. Even, you know, you're a I'm a lover girl. Yeah. I am okay.
SPEAKER_03So let me ask you this. What's your worst date ever, Giovanna? Oh my god. My worst date ever. No, you know what? Skirt, we'll save that. Scratch that. Craziest DM. Craziest DM. Craziest DM. Because I know you've gotten them, bitch.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03With your TikTok following.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god. I've had a lot of crazy ones. Yeah. Yuck. Euck. Um here's my thing.
SPEAKER_03You gotta.
SPEAKER_02Let's not send. Let's not send your dick before you say anything. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03Let's not send your dick before I've seen the dick. How about that?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, like, don't. Yeah. Please don't. The those DMs are just like, bro, you're doing too much.
SPEAKER_03And it's always the little teeny skinny guys or the weird ones where it's like, why are you sending me this pathetic wiener?
SPEAKER_04I just don't understand it.
SPEAKER_02If you were gonna send me a phone. It's the confidence for me. It's the confidence, babe, but like, let's not do that. Yeah, let's not do that. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03Like those I love a good dick pick, by the way. I really do. But I've had to obscene or fuck the dick first.
SPEAKER_02Thank you. Yeah, like thank you. At least say hi, babe. Not to send me your dick. At least hello. Hello, Wiener. Yeah, like can we have a little bit of a conversation? Those are yeah, those DMs, though those ones are irritating. Or these ones bother me. I wouldn't say they're my worst, but these ones bother me. If I'm not responding, I'm not interested, baby.
SPEAKER_03That part. That me too. And my thing is I'm grown and I'm not, I don't play those fucking games where it's like I'm gonna respond in like 20 minutes, an hour, two hours later. If I'm not responding to you, I'm not interested anymore. Yeah. So I need you to move along, babe. Move along, babe. Or step it up. Because if I was interested and then I stopped responding, that's on you. Yeah. You know? Um let's go ahead. I'm gonna ask you something. Ooh. Worst roommate. Huh? Worst roommate. Worst roommate. I got one. I got a story for everything.
SPEAKER_02Damn. I've had a few roommates. It's been a while.
SPEAKER_03Maybe your ex-husband. Right.
SPEAKER_02I'm like, um, wait, that's the one. That's probably the one. Um, no, I'm just kidding. Um, no, I'm not actually.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um God, I've had a few roommates. I would have to think about that because I've had a few roommates. I had one girl who was um, she was weird, like with like food and like I'm just not like that. Right. You can eat whatever you want, babe. Yeah. You know, we all live together, we live together, just replace it, or get me next time, or I got you. Like, I that's just who I am. Right. Like, babe.
SPEAKER_03You want to hear mine?
SPEAKER_02She's yeah, because I gotta think about that room.
SPEAKER_03I remember when I was fucking pregnant and we live with that guy, k, and um, I won't say his name, but there his room had to be fumigated, guys. It smelt like Jeffrey Dahmer's apartment, bitch. And I'm not even playing with you. I would walk by and I'm like, what is this?
SPEAKER_02Is that when you lived in that two-story house?
SPEAKER_03Yep, yeah, okay. And I'm telling you what, he was so fucking weird. He was um always nice to me, but like just always something weird. And I remember when we went to all move out, or like he wasn't there, I could smell the smell of the stench that I couldn't even explain to you. And then after, when I was showing the house to try to rent it out so we could move the fuck up out of there, um, people were complaining about the smell, the stench. And I'm like, I can't go through this fucking guy's shit. What if he's Dahmer, dog? Like honest to God. Because it smelt like he killed rats and and and stuffed them under his bed. That's fine. It was the most disgusting shit. And after that, I never had a roommate since, kids. I have not because gross. That was the worst roommate ever. I'll tell you. Yeah, that's crazy. Disgusting.
SPEAKER_02I remember you complaining about it.
SPEAKER_03Oh my god. And everyone did too. And it's like, the the landlords were like, what the fuck? And I'm like, I have no idea. I've never been in this man's room. They had to like rip carpets, repaint, fumigate the one room. Because I don't live like a in squalor, okay? I would never and when I move out of places, like I have a full cleaning crew come in because I'm not a disgusting pig, and I want my I want my deposit bag, baby. Um, but that was disgusting. So yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I I'd have to think about my roommate situation a little longer on that. Cause I don't know that I've had anybody that's absolutely like insufferable on Jeffrey Dahmer level. That was crazy.
SPEAKER_03But um, yeah, I don't know that I've had that. I think he hoarded rats, babe.
SPEAKER_02That's gross.
SPEAKER_03And feces. I don't know. That shit was crazy. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um I want to touch on how the fuck are we even friends? How are we even friends, babe?
SPEAKER_03Because we are so different, but same. But like we've been through the same things, but we're so different, but we mesh so well. So full disclosure, everybody. We were born a day apart. So I am a Taurus. I was born May 20th. My bitch is a Gemini. She was born May 21st, exactly a day apart. Um, she's the yin to my yang. So I'm a cusper. So if y'all don't know what that is, we both are. Yeah, so I'm a Taurus Gemini. She's a Gemini Taurus, right? So we'll talk on that later because I can get into my shit for real, for real. But that'll take a whole nother hour, and so we don't have time. Thomas is fucking tight. He's all bitch, get the fuck out. Uh we love you, Thomas. Thank you so much. What's a cusper? A cusper is when you're on the borderline of in each sign where the moon is. So basically, like I was on the last day. Yeah, so I was the last day of the Torians, and she is the first day of the Gemini.
SPEAKER_02So actually, I'm a Gemini Taurus. Right. Okay. She's a Taurus Gemini. Right. I'm a Gemini. I think. Oh, period. Yeah. We love it. We love it. That's why I wanted to touch you.
SPEAKER_03Rain it in, bitch.
SPEAKER_02Tell your wife I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding.
SPEAKER_03What a hoe.
SPEAKER_00She's pretty chill.
SPEAKER_03We gotta bring her in.
SPEAKER_00June 2nd? That's a Gemini date, right? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03You're almost at the end, too.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you might be on the cusp too.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Oh my cuspers. That means that means we got a lot going on, baby.
SPEAKER_02Oh my gosh. But yeah.
SPEAKER_03Um but honestly, like, even like our type of dudes are totally different, but so crazy because they're the same. Same fucker shit. Yeah. That we've been dealing with in this in different dudes. Let's touch on that. What type of man do you like? Oh. I don't even know anymore. I really don't.
SPEAKER_02What were the what what type of men were you going for?
SPEAKER_03I like a Mexican.
SPEAKER_02Yes, I was waiting for that.
SPEAKER_03I like a real good Mexican. Okay. I love tattoos. Course. I like good teeth. I like you to smell good. And we like a good size wiener.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03Sorry, mom. You will not listen to this episode. Yeah. Um, or any of the other ones for that matter. Oh, don't do that to your mom. Oh, I know. I told her you're good, babe. So you can't listen, anyways. Um, but yeah, what's your type of dude, girl? Girl, you know I love me some chocolate.
SPEAKER_02Ooh, we know. Yes. Uh I love me a chocolate man. Um, yeah, same, same, same. Good teeth, smell good, tattoos. Um, but my picker.
SPEAKER_03She likes a baby arm.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god. I hate you.
SPEAKER_02Um, but my picker.
SPEAKER_03We listen, we don't judge.
SPEAKER_02My picker is so fucking broken though. Oh, baby. Oh my god. It's oh, my picker has been so broken. And my picker's pointing at women currently.
SPEAKER_03So I mean you know, my picker's just like, wah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, like it's it's bad. It's been a bad picker. Um you like the pretty ones, though. I do like the pretty ones. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00How are you all meeting people right now? Are you going out? Are you on apps?
SPEAKER_03I work too much. Um, I tried the app. What was it? Not hinge. Is it hinge? Hinge. Hinge is one.
SPEAKER_02I tried hinge for less than an hour.
SPEAKER_03Me too.
SPEAKER_02And I was like, we're done here.
SPEAKER_03I deleted it within an hour. Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep. After one guy wanted to fuck me in the backseat of a car because he didn't have his own place and he was homeless. I was like, what are we doing, bitch? Bye. Exit to the left.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I couldn't do it. I I don't know. I it gave me so much anxiety. Like, I could not do it. Yeah. And I'm like, and then and then some guy messaged me and was like, Can I come to your place? And it's like, no, bitch, you can't. Oh. So you can reside forever? So you can never fucking leave? Like, no. No. Euk. What do you think about dating? Well, actually, you're married. Yeah. So were you gonna say something though on dating apps?
SPEAKER_00Oh, no. I'm just I hate them. They're all right.
SPEAKER_03No, no, I like authentic connection for sure. I want to meet somebody through somebody else or in person. Um, if you're a thirsty Theodore in the DMs, it's just already giving an ick because it's the over-sexualized, over um presenting of your fake personality that it's like you you'll be you'll be one person, and then we meet in person, and I'm like, what in the fuck is this? Yeah.
SPEAKER_00It's tough. It's tough out there. And people can present themselves anyway. Yeah. Oh my god. Totally uh think that you know somebody free texting, and then you go meet them in person. You're like, oh, yeah. This is who I was just talking to.
SPEAKER_03Wow. I have a story for that, but that's gonna be later because that's gonna have a trigger warning on that, babes. Okay.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I have a you know, oh God. I I like this person and I don't want to, I'm not gonna say names. I think he's a great guy. He's super nice. I don't even know if I should touch on it because I know he's gonna listen, and I don't want him to feel some type of way.
SPEAKER_03Feel some type of way, bitch.
SPEAKER_02See, and I I care too much. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but I feel like I'm just gonna say um I hadn't met him in person, and there was a lot of texting and you know, and uh before we met and stuff like that. Time wasting. But once we did finally meet, uh I just feel like no is no. You know what I'm saying? And yes, if if a woman is telling you no, it's no. And you gotta leave it at that, babe. Because then you've completely given me this perception of you that you don't respect my boundaries.
SPEAKER_03You don't respect me as a woman and what I've been through. You have no idea because you don't give a fuck about my middle name. You care about your your listen. Okay.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Yeah, but it yeah, it just no means no. And and and that, like Thomas said, like you can really you you really get to know someone after like texting for so long and then you don't know, and then it's like you meet in person and you're all excited, but you're like, the fuck? Yeah. I said no. He's giving her a Kelly. What who is this? Yeah, it's we said no, babe. Yes, so it doesn't matter.
SPEAKER_03Not all mall money is good money, okay? So people, oh, he's got money. I don't give a fuck about your money, bitch, because I make my own money. How about that? Yeah, okay. I don't need your money. I need you to be a decent human being, and that's so difficult for folks these days.
SPEAKER_02And I feel like sometimes men are like, you know, I'm not like this fucking, I'm not here to like bash men. You know what I'm saying? But no, for what yeah, no, for sure. I'm not here to bash them. For sure. We love you, men. We do, we do. We do. I couldn't live without you. Hey, baby. But I lost my train of fucking thought. But um, what was oh god, I'm annoyed. Thomas, what the fuck was I saying?
SPEAKER_00I don't know. We were talking about no means no. Yeah, I think. I was kind of I don't know, I was gonna touch on that. Just like consent. And like it's super important. And just like those huge red flag right out of the get-go. That's what it was. Thank you, man's perspective. And then imagine what that relationship's gonna be like two years, five years, ten years down the road.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and it's like, I get it, you know, like you're excited, you're you're attracted, and like I'm attracted too, but like that doesn't mean that I have to fuck you. Right. So if I say no, like once once, I feel like, and also this is what I was gonna say. Um, just because you fly me out or you're flying to me, that doesn't mean that I'm gonna give you the pinocha. Yeah, like yeah, uh that's just me. And I feel like a lot of men are like we owe them something, yeah. And it's like you can come out and be a fucking gentleman and like and we can have a great time. And let's see if we vibe first before we have sex, right?
SPEAKER_03You know what I mean? People don't understand that. Yeah, it's like I just want what I want when I want it, how I want it, boom. And that's it's a no for me.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. That that's hard because I just that that's happened a couple times, and I'm like, you know what? Yep. Well, it's like I bought you a ticket. The fuck? I didn't ask you to.
SPEAKER_03And I'll take my own ticket back and go the fuck home tonight, bitch. I've been here an hour seen.
SPEAKER_02Sorry, sorry, because uh this guy I know won't listen. But he bought me a plane ticket to Vegas. Right, and I flew out. No, hold on, back up. Hold on. I was supposed to fly out to see him. Right. Right? But then he had made a comment about, well, you know you're gonna you know I'm saying. You know you're gonna do some things when you get here. And I'm like, the fuck? Yeah. First of all, if I want to do some things, it's gonna be on my time. You know what I'm saying? Like it's gonna be because I want to. Yes. Now that you're telling me that I have to, baby, I'm gonna go ahead and let you know that I'm not coming. Yeah. But I'm coming and I'm not gonna see you. Yeah. So I used, I used the plane, I see. Definitely still went to Vegas. Yep, met up with my cousin, used the ticket, and I had a great fucking time. And I went out with my cousin because she was already there. Because guess what? And I went to Vegas for free, baby. Cause and and that's and I've never talked to him again. Yeah, good. But good. Fuck him. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Don't no don't don't do that. Yeah, don't fuck him.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah, but like it just was like, ew. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like, right.
SPEAKER_03It's immediately boner gone. Girl boner is fucking gone.
SPEAKER_02You know what's crazy is I'm such a bro, I'm a very sexual person. Right, me too. I like I very much am. Like, it's when I want to be. It might be a fucking problem. But I I love being into my like I've really come into myself at this age. Like, I think it might be a- You know what you like, you know, all the things. Yes. I want to say when I got into my 30s is when I was really like, this is fucking fun. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Because I'm like, you start to do it. You're not insecure, you're just sort of like, you know. You just come into yourself as a woman and you're like, damn, I don't like that, and I like this. Yes. And so, yeah, I'm I'm a very sexual person, and I don't, I have no shame in my game.
SPEAKER_04Let me ask you this. Do you like anal?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02Me too. It just depends, though, on the person. I'm not over here busting it open for every fucking person. That's all I want. Yeah, no, I'm not, yeah, no. You can't be out here giving your booty to everybody, bro. Like, that's no. Yeah. Finger in the booty whole ass big. It depends on the person. For sure. I feel like that's a very um what's the word that I'm looking for? Required taste. Yeah, it's a it's it's it's Very intimate thing. Uh huh. And you you there's levels to that. You know what I'm saying? Right, right, right, right. Um I don't even drink. And the first time that that's another difference between her and I. Yeah, I don't drink. And so I'm like, I might need some wine, like something to calm me down.
SPEAKER_03She said port.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02Give me the dessert one. Yuck. But um, but yeah, that uh back to what I was saying. It's just uh no means no. Or like let's talk about it first before you just demand it. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, because baby, I might have busted it open, but if that's because I wanted to.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_02You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03But like But there's the pressure then, and then I have to bring out my petty because now you're demanding it, and now I have to retreat.
SPEAKER_02Now I'm taking my ticket and going and having a good fucking time without you. Thank you. Yeah, thank you for the Vegas ticket.
SPEAKER_00What's the furthest? What's the furthest that somebody's flown to come meet either of y'all? You're flown to somebody.
SPEAKER_02If I've if I see this, they're gonna know. Uh you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03No one's flown out for me.
SPEAKER_02No one's yeah, well, in all fairness, Casey is new to the dating game. Casey. She was married. She was let's go to the relationship. She was in the relationship for 20 plus. 22 plus years. Yeah, 22 plus years. So this bitch is newly single. Brand new. So she's she's new to the game. Um, and she hates it. I hate it. I don't blame her. I hate it. But for me, yeah, I feel like if I said they might know. Who gives a fuck?
SPEAKER_03This is our podcast. Absolutely not, sis.
SPEAKER_02Um, I know, but I don't know that I want to do that. Because I am cool with these people. Are you sure he wasn't a clown though, and he doesn't need to be dogged out? No. I don't want to dog him out. All right, whatever. But uh I have not flown super far for anybody. The late the latest one in the States. The latest one that I flew out to was in Oakland.
SPEAKER_00And um those are pretty easy flights in Vegas, too. I mean, that's a Vegas was super quick too. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02That's really not that diabolical. Yeah, no, that's not far. Um, yeah, the most recent was Oakland. And you know, shout out to you because I still have love for you. He he's a good guy. We just, you know, didn't vibe on different pages.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, right. And that's okay. But you know, and that's okay also for men to or women to not be fucking salty about it not working out in the dating game. Like for me, what I've learned is like, don't take it personal, just move on. Yeah, like my dad used to say, Don't go away mad, just go away. And it's just my go-to. And honestly, like, for sure, like there's been things where it's like, there's some great guys that I've dated and whatever. However, it's it's it doesn't always have to be a salty scenario at the end. It's just more like, you're not my vibe, I'm not your vibe. It didn't work out for whatever reason, whatever. But yeah, and I've known him for a really long time. It doesn't need to be crazy, salty. Let's cause drama, let's talk shit. Like, I'm not here to do that at all.
SPEAKER_02No. Um and I don't, I'm not, I'm not gonna sit here and bash him because for sure. There's just no point in doing that. For sure. We are cool, and yeah, uh, you never know what could happen. Do you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03Growth and healing, baby.
SPEAKER_02And he was a good fucking time.
SPEAKER_03Boom, bang, bang. We had a good time.
SPEAKER_02He was a good time. You were a good time, babe. But uh, yeah, we're cool and uh just two different pages and two different perspectives on on you know what we want right now in life. And I think it's that's a mature thing that he's he's a very intelligent person and he he's able to he's so good at like articulating his words and like just he's he knows what he wants and he knows what he doesn't want right now, and I think that we just weren't aligned. Right and that's okay, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03It's totally okay, and you're not salty and you're moving on with your life, so that's fine, yeah. Not at all, for sure.
SPEAKER_02So yeah, but yeah, um yeah, you're new, babe.
SPEAKER_03You're new here, very new, and so I know that you hate it here.
SPEAKER_02Uh-huh. Yep. And I'm sorry. Yep, sure do. Sure do hate it here. Um, what's your worst most recent experience? We're not gonna touch on the one that you want to touch on later.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we won't touch on that because that's gotta be like a trigger warning, and that's very sensitive to me. And that was not. Yeah, we won't go there. But um You can kind of talk about though the things he said.
SPEAKER_02I mean, the shit was kind of fucked up, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03All right, all right, bet. So we'll talk about because this was the worst. Because I have this was probably the worst. The worst because also like it happened most recently, and then I've been sort of like turned off since then. But we will say that this motherfucker invited me to his home. I get it, guys. Listen, don't do what I did. But he had this whole thing, we talked, I thought he was normal, la la la. Cut to. Here's the gist of it. He wants to cook me dinner. In the middle of me eating this motherfucker's food, he goes, you know, if you worked out a little more and you lost some more weight, you'd be a fucking 10. And I'm eating this bitch's food in his house. So I go, I put down my bitch. When I tell you I would have flipped that motherfucking plate, I get up. No, I was calm, cool, and collected. And I go to get up and collect my things. He made me take off my shoes, by the way. And as soon as I walked in, he took my shoes off, sprayed my feet with some shit, and then put some weird ass. You didn't tell me none of this. Because listen, Linda, I was saving it for the podcast so I could get your genuine reaction because it's the fuckery for me. He sprayed your feet? He sprayed my feet with some shit. Didn't even smell them. You don't even know what it was?
SPEAKER_02No! Okay, okay. So he could have been paralyzing you. Listen, then taking your fucking. So this is why I didn't tell you, bitch. So anyway, I put my fucking. Hold on. I'm interrupting. Because she pisses me off. Mind you, she didn't even fucking tell any of us where she was. So if this guy was a domer, we would have never found her. Go ahead, Casey. Continue. We back.
SPEAKER_03Um so, anyways, I put my fork down and I go to get up to leave. I didn't, I was calm, cool, and collected. I just got up and I just was gonna collect my things and I was in a freshly spray. And then all of a sudden, stressfully sprayed. Yeah, I can't do it. Um, so anyway, so I go to leave and he's like, wait, wait, wait, no, no, no. I didn't mean it like that. Like, I'm a personal trainer, and I just meant like, you know, you could work out with me and I could just make you your best that you could possibly be. And he like backpedaled because I was ready to go. But this guy was gorgeous, okay? And I and sometimes the prettiest, most colorful package comes with the most rotten content. Okay. And that man has never been told no. And he flipped the script when I told him no, and that's where I'm gonna leave that. But there, he was a fucking weirdo. No, and he was calling you names, bitch. He was at the end of the night when I told him no, but that's when I ran the fuck up out of there, high-tailed it out of there, ran for my life.
SPEAKER_02No, and then you start calling a woman like awful names. Oh, I was a disgusting pig, I was a chunky monkey.
SPEAKER_03Full disclosure, guys, ladies and gents.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god.
SPEAKER_03If you ever met me, you would know that I was um a big bitch there for a second, okay? I'm in the midst of my fucking depression. Yes, I was, bitch. I really was. I was on medication, I was on all the things, but however. Look in the mirror today, and I can honestly say You've lost a lot of all y'all. I look in the mirror, butt ass fucking naked, and I go, you are that bitch. And I am never been able to say that. Not in my marriage, not before my marriage, not after, until recently. So the fact that this bum bitch that's never been told no, this whiny, spoiled brat wanted to cut me down, that's not gonna happen. It's not affecting me because he didn't get what he wanted, and um, it doesn't affect me. However, this is the world that we're living in today, guys. And that was my worst date.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that yeah, that was I woke up to uh in the morning, I woke up to like voice. Well, first there was a couple videos that she sent me of herself and then some voice notes, and I was like, the fuck is going on? Like, what bitch, first of all, all the things. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, let's not talk about that. However, that was my worst date, and he was fucking weird. However, um, I've had other weird ass. And that goes back to, sorry, but that goes back to no means no, babe. No means no. No means no. Exactly. That's it's all full circle. But since then, no, no, I don't date. I'm I'm in my bag, babe. I date myself right now. That's where I'm at. And I'm okay with it. I'm not sitting here the sad Sally, the sad bitch in the corner. Oh, feel sorry for me home. I'm not. Oh, no, I'm cool. Because I'd rather be ugly in peace, horizontal on my couch, watching the same trash ass shows with my stinky ass cats and my daughter. Okay, I know.
SPEAKER_02Um, my cats are a vibe. Bye. I know. I'm not a cat person, you know.
SPEAKER_03Okay, I know that, but don't ever shit on my hose. Thank you. Thank you. Take your best, snatch that back.
SPEAKER_02She loves it. Snatch it back. Thank you.

I don't get that, like take, you know, ask me out on a date properly or whatever. And the immediately when you turn me off, it's it's done. Like ask me on a proper date. Like, don't be like, can I get your Snapchat? Or hey, let me text you at 10 o'clock at night, and then you know, whatever. Like it no. But I feel like you gotta put that out there.

SPEAKER_03No, that's a secret. Shut up, bitch. No, um, all I have to say is I uh consider myself a light worker. I'm not in by any means conjuring up spells and being weird. Okay. I do have the knowledge. However, um, I just like to be a weirdo in peace. I like my crystals, I like lighting candles, I like my plants, I like dancing in the rain and being naked under the moon.
