When everything around you feels uncertain, chaotic, and loud, God is not confused. In this episode, we look at how the Word of God cuts through the noise and brings clarity where the world only brings more questions. Confusion is not from God — and He didn't leave us without an answer. Tune in and find out why the Word is the only foundation that holds when nothing else makes sense.
Hello Christians, this is Dallas Beecher. Stand by for good news God's answer to confusion. The psalmist David said Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. And Paul reminds the church that God is not the author of confusion, but of peace. So when confusion fills the air, Christians do not need a louder opinion. We need the light of God's word. Confusion is not new. It has walked through every generation wearing a different coat. In one age confusion speaks through kings, in another through priest, in another through philosophers, in another through culture. And in our own day confusion often speaks loudly through opinion, emotion, entertainment, politics, yes, and even religion. But confusion always has the same root. Something has been placed above the Word of God. That's something may be tradition. It may be personal preference. It may be the fear of man, or it may be the majority voice. It may be a favorite teacher, it may be an inherited system we never thought to question. But whatever it is, once it stands over scripture, confusion begins to rule. And Jesus said sanctify them through thy truth. Thy word is truth. That is why the church cannot find peace by lowering the word beneath man's opinion. Peace comes when truth is allowed to be truth. This is what Scripture first matters. Scripture first is not a call to disorder. It is not a rejection of teachers. History, church life are godly counsel. The church needs faithful teachers. The church should learn from history. The church should walk together in humility, but none of those things may become final. The teacher must be tested by scripture. The tradition must be tested by scripture, and the denomination must be tested by scripture. The sermon must be tested by scripture. The consistency and our conscience must be formed by scripture. That is where peace begins. Not the peace of pretending everyone is right, not the peace of avoiding hard questions, but the peace that comes when God's voice is given its rightful place. The good news is that God's answer to confusion is not hidden. He does not ask his people to wander in darkness. He has given a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. The scripture first life says, Lord, speak first. Lord speak last. Lord speak louder than my fear. Speak louder than my habit or my pride and my conscience. And when the word of God is first, the church does not become weaker, it becomes clearer, it becomes steadier, it becomes more obedient, and it becomes more alive. Because God's word is not merely information, it is light, it is brilliant, it is a sword, it is seed, it is truth. And when truth is restored the first place, confusion must step down. I hope this message today has touched your heart and causes you to have a good day.
