Hello, Christians. This is Dallas Beecher. Stand by for good news. Today's good news comes from John 14 and 27. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give unto you. Not as the world giveth, giveth I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Let that promise settle into your spirit. We live in a world that tries to offer peace in a thousand different ways entertainment, distraction, self-help, positive thinking, temporary escapes, but none of these things last. None of them reach the heart, none of them quite the soul. Jesus says, My peace I give unto you, not the world's peace, not temporary peace, not fragile peace, his peace, the peace of the Son of God, the peace that comes from heaven, the peace that cannot be shaken. This is not peace you earn, this is not peace you create, this is peace he gives. The world's peace depends on circumstance. If things are calm, you feel calm. If things are stable, you feel stable. If things are predictable, you feel secure. But Jesus offers peace that works even when circumstances are not calm, not stable, not predictable. His peace is not the absence of trouble, it is the presence of Christ. His peace is not the removal of pressure, it is the assurance of his authority. His peace is not the silence of fear, it is the victory of truth over fear. The world gives peace that evaporates. Jesus gives peace that endures. Jesus continues. Let not your heart be troubled. He's not saying trouble won't come. He's saying trouble doesn't have to rule your heart. Your heart doesn't have to be controlled by fear. Your heart doesn't have to be overwhelmed by uncertainty. Your heart doesn't have to be shaken by what you see. Why? Because his peace is stronger than your trouble. His peace is deeper than your fear. His peace is greater than whatever you're facing today. You don't calm your heart by trying harder, you calm your heart by trusting him. Fear is loud. Fear is persistent. Fear tries to convince you that you're alone, unprotected and weak. But Jesus says neither let it be afraid. Not because you're strong, but because He is. Not because you know the future, but because He holds the future. Not because you can control everything, but because He controls everything. Fear loses its authority when Christ's peace takes its place. So today you don't have to walk in fear. You can walk in peace, His peace. When anxiety rises, say Jesus, you give me your peace. When fear whispers, say my heart will not be troubled. When uncertainty shows up, say neither will I be afraid. Let his word steady your heart, so you will be able to say none of these things move me. I pray the good news today blesses your heart, strengthens your faith, and causes you to have a good day.
