Designing Your Ideal Space to Facilitate Your On-The-Go Life - The 7 "What's" - Part 1

For most of us, decluttering our home is a process that not only helps clear away things that weigh us down physicially, but also emotionally. As we approach the downward curve of the #coronavirus pandemic, it's important to take an introspective look at your home and your space (even if it's just your bedroom).
How can you take your current situation and maximize it's effectiveness and create surroundings that serve the lifestyle you have and/or want to have?
Tidy expert, Marie Kondo, says, “The first step is to really visualize what your ideal lifestyle [looks like]. How do you want to spend your time at home?”
Based on this premise and wonderful advice, we've created 7 "What" questions to help you answer this bigger question.
Grab your journal and a pen, and find a quiet space and take the time to dive deep and reflect on your honest answers to these questions.

1. What do you want your space to look and feel like? Describe it in specific detail. From the decor style, to the level of tidiness. And what emotions do you want to feel in your space?

2. What  do you want your space to do for you? What purpose do you want your space do to serve?

Catch the remaining questions in our next episode!

Coronavirus and #Quarantine are creating possible new short and maybe long term normals. Regardless, life always has stages- empty nesting, going off to college, new job, moving. Give yourself the grace and patience to adjust to different seasons, and to allow your home and living space to adjust with you.
