We (Rory and Alexa) have been able to ride camels, visit a camel market in the middle of nowhere Egypt, meet a remote family in another remote section of nowhere Egypt who showed us how to make bread with a rolling pin on a flat stone outside, and have coffee in the desert over a fire and with straw as a filter. On the opposite spectrum, we got to hike up a glacier to shoot a music video. But those experiences happened because we had a wonderful team that set up all the details in advance. We just showed up and sang, and hosted travel videos. Those are just a few glimpses of the wonderful things we've experienced. And yeah, we've been able to happen upon a cool family that makes and stores cheese in their Swiss village. And we got to learn how to make Rösti from our favorite restaurant in Switzerland- all on our own- just exploring- no brochures or tour guides.
