You'll learn all about those details in case you're inclined to do the same. No reservations, no plan. They just did what they wanted to do, and they found that the best experiences rarely happen when everything is overplanned. Are you ready? I am excited and can't wait to introduce this podcast, Eat Sip Go. Food, wine, and travel experiences. This podcast will be video and audio, and you already know what you like. The problem is finding it fast, and that's what we're here to help you do. At EatSipGo, your host, Elliot Callan, brings together wine expertise, restaurant knowledge, and California travel, all filtered through one lens. Your elevated taste profile, he also brings on experts around the world to help you along your journey, and his picks come from curators who spend an unreasonable amount of time eating, drinking, and driving around the Golden State so you don't have to. Curated, not crowdsourced. Please remember to subscribe to this podcast for weekly episodes and be sure to share it with someone you know loves the wine, food, and or travel spaces. You're going to be learning about destinations, wine and food pairings, right? What to eat, what to drink, and everything in between. But before I tell you more about the show, I'd love to introduce you more to Elliot and Tammy Callan, the people behind every recommendation. Here's their story. They've already been there. Now they tell you where to go. EatSipGo is the most personal project of their lives. They didn't set out to build a brand. They set out to live fully, to taste, explore, discover. Over time, those experiences became something they couldn't keep to themselves. And here comes Eatsip Go. It grew out of nights when they opened a bottle that they've been saving and ended up talking until midnight. Out of trips where they threw out the itinerary, rented a car in Portugal, and stayed in castles, boutique hotels, and even a converted convent. Out of the annual reset in Hawaii, or the crisp October light in New England that makes you stop mid-stride, you're going to learn about all of these things. EatSipGo is their way of inviting you to those moments. Not as critics, not as anonymous reviewers, but as fellow travelers who lived it, loved it, and want you to feel it too. Elliot grew up with Europe as his backyard, with his family moving from New Jersey to Geneva, Switzerland in just fifth grade. Suddenly, Europe wasn't something he was just reading about in his textbook. It was just another Tuesday. Growing up, his table was shaped by a mother who cooked in the style of Julia Child, and made sure they paid attention wherever they went. The carved detail above a doorway. The history behind a cathedral the name of the wine most people would have just called red. Those early years shaped everything. A deep curiosity, a trained palate, and an unshakable belief that the best meals happen when you stop ordering the safe thing. Elliot and Tammy have traveled throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, most of the Caribbean, and across Europe, and they still say the best journeys are the ones still ahead. They are the best travel companions either of them could ask for as they've been together for 21 years and married for eleven. You may be wondering, what was their first trip outside the US? Portugal. I teased this before, but this is where they threw out their entire itinerary. You'll learn all about those details in case you're inclined to do the same. No reservations, no plan. They just did what they wanted to do, and they found that the best experiences rarely happen when everything is overplanned. Again, we're talking food, wine, hospitality, travel, everything in between. And before I sign off with this preview, I'm going to give you a little more about their vision, goals, and then introduce the first few shows. They want to inspire exploration with stories that spark curiosity. Deliver trust through firsthand, never sponsored recommendations. Celebrate quality by focusing only on experiences worth remembering. And connect people who value authenticity over algorithms. Oh man, I hope you're as excited as I am, right? They've got goals to make sure that your invitation is here. You found your way here. Whether you love food, wine, or discovery as much as they do, or maybe it's the bottle waiting to be opened, or the table worth booking. There is a road through wine country that looks nothing from above and like everything once you're on it. They've already been down it. Now they're going to tell you exactly where it leads, right here on Eat Sip Go. So now let me preview what is set to come. The first episode brings on Bretton Linkletcher. He shares innovative strategies for restaurant growth, emphasizing the importance of marketing, data tracking, and brand building to succeed in a competitive industry. We'll be live on September 11th, both video podcast and audio podcast. He's best known for his time as CEO of Dineline and Ditio. Right after we switch over to the wine area, and this will be my final preview just to get you excited. As we switch to wine, we are bringing on our second expert here, and he talks about why your wine palette is never wrong. It is just different. This is Josh Wiedemann. This is an experienced winemaker with a demonstrated history of working in wine and the spirits industry. He's best known for his time as an estate winemaker over at Pine Ridge Vineyards. Winemaker at Lewis Cellars, right? He brings on so much experience you can keep going back. Chimney Rock Winery. From when he was an intern at Vina Tarapaca. Oh my, we have experts coming your way each and every week with Elliot Callan, the CEO of EatSipGo. In the meantime, until that first episode, be sure to head to eatsipgo.com, check out their newsletter, sign up, learn more about each of these areas, and of course, stay up to date with this amazing podcast, EatSipGo. With that, we are signing off here today. Again, this is EatSipGo. Subscribe so you don't miss a thing, as our esteemed host, Elliot Callan, is here to bring you value and passion along with expertise each and every Friday. Take care, and we will see you back for our first interview on Friday, September eleventh. Signing off from California, that's all, folks.
