The first book I will share is the true story of my life. In this episode I introduce the book and my purpose in writing it.
Speaker
Hi, my name is Annette Ade. Welcome to my audio podcast. Let's enjoy a book. The first book I'd like to share with you is a book I wrote myself. It is about my life. It's completely factual. It tells how God brought me through some very difficult, unusually painful times into a wonderful life. It's entitled A Song from the Rubble. It was published in 2020 and it has 13 parts or short chapters. Part one, the preparation. Part two, the good years, part three, the blind years. Part four, the beginning of the end. Part five, the long miles. Part six, the darkness. Part seven, the journey back. Part eight, the light. Part nine, the heartbreak. Part ten, the new beginning, part eleven, the lessons, part twelve, the song, part thirteen, the nightmare, and each episode of this podcast will contain one of each of those sections. And I will just read it through without commentary. The dedication page. I dedicate this little book, such as it is, to my amazing sons who gave me the courage and inspiration to keep going through the darkness. I thank my husband who came to my rescue and whose understanding and humor make me feel loved and valued. I also thank my family and friends who support me and let me know that I am loved unconditionally. Mostly I thank my God, who has been my comforter and counselor. 2 Corinthians 1: 3 - 4. All praise to the God and Father of our Master Jesus the Messiah, Father of all mercy, God of all healing counsel. He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times, so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. Introduction. I'm a mom, a kindergarten teacher, and a daughter of God. I'm a very ordinary person who has come through a long, painful journey into a place of incredible joy and peace. I'd like to share it and hopefully be an encouragement to others who find themselves surrounded with darkness and questions about God's plan. My purpose is only to uplift God and share what He has done for me. I don't want to dwell on the evil influences that were in play, but they definitely are a part of our world and can take a person far from God. In order to show the depths of God's mercy and forgiveness, I will describe in some detail the sin that entered my first marriage. Although it seemed there was no hope, good finally won, and evil took a terrible blow. Then I entered into a second marriage, believing it was God's plan for healing both of us. God had more lessons waiting for me there. Finally, after a period of deep soul searching and nurturing my relationship with the Lord, I found a new hope for lifelong love and companionship. God is good all the time! Psalm 119 :92. If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.
