But I remember where your ass was just little as hell, man. You used to come over a motherfucker Rosa, but I used to be at the studio. I used to be always like, bruh, let me get on the song, bruh. Let me let me do something. I used to be like, come on, bruh, come on. You feel me?
SPEAKER_00Starting on everybody. Be ready for my album next year. My name's Santana. Feel me? Getting money. You see this? Nigga? Why do you all day?
SPEAKER_04So now to see how far you came with the music, bro. I'm proud of you for sure, bro. You gotta keep your shit going. And you got it. Like I told you off camera, you got it, bro. So I appreciate it. Just keep doing your thing. But shit, what made you want to get into the music? Like, when did it start?
SPEAKER_03Nah, for real, bro. Like, you gotta think I grew up behind you a mic.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So it's like, man, shout out my brother, you know, maybe. Nah, for sure. Shout out to sure. It's like y'all was right there. Like, I'm right here with Torah. Like, I ain't got no toy. Like, I love, like, I love seeing y'all, you feel me? Yeah. Yeah. Like, I seen the behind the scenes of this shit. So I'm like, damn. But I'm really geek though. You feel me? So I'm like, hell no, I gotta start myself.
SPEAKER_04Like, yeah. You started seeing it. That's good, though. You start seeing it and seeing where you could like, man, when I do it, I'm gonna do it like this. Yeah, I see it. So I'm like, I could take this shit out of it. Nah, that's real. That's real. You definitely can though for Dale Show. I know you can for Dale show. But like you said, you was able to see it. I seen it in you young too. Like even before you got your like, I still got it on my phone, but I still can tell you where you were. I'm like, the bars went there, you was still too young, but you you you had the energy and shit. I'm like, man, he can fuck around make it. Truth be told, you gotta add screws. Whatever screws, you know, I gotta shout out Screw. Be the first little nigga I signed. We used to always say that shit. Like, nigga, when you pop, nigga, we gotta go get Tana nigga for nail. So like he got it for real. So, like I say, to see that shit, man, and to watch what you do it, man. Like I say, I'm proud of you, bruh. For damn sure. Nah, for sure. So I appreciate that. Yeah, we were just talking about uh you ended up uh linking up with Lil Blade and them though, how that shit came about, though.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, man, so shout out my manager. You feel me, man. Alright, so you feel me. My management typed in with him and shit. And you feel me? We put that play down. I shot down there. We did the uh feature. We did two features. Shit, we shot right back down there the next day. And then you feel me. Did the video drop yet?
SPEAKER_04No, the new video ain't dropped yet.
SPEAKER_03It's gonna drop this week, though. Make sure y'all stay tuned. This week, all right.
SPEAKER_04So it'll probably be out by the time this drops. So what's the name of it?
SPEAKER_03You feel me? That bitch called Not Playing.
SPEAKER_04Not playing. Arena made Tana featuring Lil Blade not playing. Make sure y'all go check that out. YouTube, Apple Music, all the streaming platforms, Spotify, all that shit. But no, that's a good look though. I sent y'all up there, y'all working and shit. So yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03That was crazy, but it was so crazy how the the D like shout out D trait, man. I ain't gonna lie, shout out Mother City, man. Shout out to the city. You know, gotta shout out the D. I ain't gonna feel with the D, bro. And it's like, and the reason I'm saying that is because like it's so easy to like network through there. Like, yeah, you never know who knows somebody. Like, we was out there shooting the vid, the nigga T B pulled up. Oh, T shout out my nigga T B. Yeah, hell yeah. No, that's hard, yeah. You feel me? We got something coming, you feel me? Like, it's a lot of shit. Like, I man, oh yeah, you was able to type in with T B too up there?
SPEAKER_04Hell yeah, that's that's that's it right there, bro. Hell yeah. That's one thing I can say about bigger cities though, and I fuck with Lima, though. Shout out to the men, that's always love in the O. But I be telling people like a lot of things when you go to them bigger cities, it's like they kind of already believe it. Nah, like when you in smaller places and I done been a hella smaller places, it be harder for people to believe it, which is understandable because you don't really see it like that. Like in the D, like we done seen niggas like Peasy and Team Eastide, you know what I'm saying? Doughboy cash out, shit, T Grizzly, all them type niggas get a deal. You know what I'm saying? Even shit, like Lil Blay, his dad was that nigga growing up. Like, motherfucker, oh boy, the blade dance, the you know, niggas still doing this shit. You know what I'm saying? That uh he uh what was the one song? Uh Wanna Ride. That used to be that shit. Seven times with a K. It's still here to see another day. Damn, you lucky Blade. Like, you know what I'm saying? Nigga grew up in the D so like dog really hired around, you know what I'm saying? And then, like, for his son to be doing the music and shit, I salute that too, though. But so to tap in with him, you doing it right though, because that music is all networking, everything these days, but especially that music though.
SPEAKER_03I ain't gonna lie, that music a big ass network, but I done tapped in with so I'm tapped in so many places. This all music, like you feel me? I pull up green, pull up green, like um yeah, everything.
SPEAKER_04Hell yeah, and that's what you gotta do. Keep making them connections, keep networking, keep doing your shit, like I was just telling you, like keep dropping your shit, you know what I'm saying? Because really, I with the music these days, and this why I really be telling you you got it, bruh. And this from a nigga that used to do music, the people that know know, but it's like it really just down there these days who gonna outlast, like who gonna make it long enough to get their shot. Like a lot of niggas will give up before the shot even comes. You know what I'm saying? Or some shit happened, like you know, we'll get into that too. Like a nigga like me, like I feel like nigga, I went to the joint right where, you feel me, right before all them niggas pop 10 east side, all them niggas and shit pop, you feel me? You know, they used to be at Unc Crib, like I ain't I got like I just personally knew niggas, but it was right there. Like these niggas PZ Vez, nigga Webbo, like them niggas that be at my uncle house, Lou, you know what I'm saying? Want nothing to pull up on Unc and them niggas just right there, you know what I'm saying? So they just like regular niggas, no not to them absolute where they done got to, but it's like what you doing, but you right there. You just gotta keep doing it, you know what I'm saying? So that's what a nigga gotta got now, no for damn sure. Hell yeah. So what you working on now, like a full project or like nah, for real, for real.
SPEAKER_03I'm finna play it. I mean, sitting back, but I think I'm finna play like a single every two weeks. What about you feel me? And I only say that because it's easier to promote the singles with like my team small right now. Yeah, you feel me?
SPEAKER_04Everybody start small.
SPEAKER_03You feel me? Like with my team, with me being, you feel me? So it's like I'm gonna just start small. Yeah. Really start, you feel me? I can focus my money more on one song at a time versus a whole person. Oh, that's it. Get the right singles, yeah. So I'm finna tear that up, man.
SPEAKER_04Oh, for sure. Shoot the videos, get the right visuals and shit. And what you've been doing too, like um, I've been seeing you do the like the freestyles you like, but I'm gonna get y'all. That type of shit, the content and the the showing your personality, that shit going further than the music a lot of times these days. It's plenty of niggas. I ain't gonna cap that. I don't listen to them niggas' song, but I watch them niggas online. Like I got like finesse, like and he makes some hard songs, but I ain't just bagging finesse, but I'm gonna watch him shoot the shit and talk the shit. You get what I'm saying? So they done really made it kind of like easier with like you showing off the personality. There you go. Be real, bro. Authentic. I think that's what they missing. Like you, you, you bringing something real authentic to the game, bro. Like I say, and you got it like musically. I appreciate it. You know that shit, the bars gonna go over a lot of people's head, but I hear the bars, though. You feel me? So definitely keep motherfucking doing your thing, keep building on that shit. So you own one, but you say that you're gonna just do singles, you already got something lined up, like the one you was playing for the females, though. I think that's a good one.
SPEAKER_03Hella, like, I ain't gonna lie, cuz I got hella shit. Yeah, I love 500 songs. You feel me?
SPEAKER_04So it's like So it's just picking it too.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's like it's just strategically picking them, like putting them in order.
SPEAKER_04Like, I wanna How you go as far as like feedback though? Like, do you let certain people hear them and get an ear for them? Or do you go to like play them at pla like you ever try to like go play them in the club, see the reaction shit like that?
SPEAKER_03Like, I'll let you hear it, or yeah, I'll call Mike, or I'll let Pops hear it. Like this something you listen to, like you feel me? You gotta think, like it ain't just about the younger generation, like you feel me? Like, so and I ain't gonna think I got a lot of influence on the younger generation, so I'll be trying to watch what I said.
SPEAKER_04So that's cool.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you got a lot of people. I got a lot of um singles coming with people too though.
SPEAKER_04Like features and shit like that. Hell yeah, yeah. We gotta lock in and do something. I'm gonna come out of retirement. Nah, for sure. Come on.
SPEAKER_03I got some of the DCG songs, the DCG brothers down there and shot them bullshit. Yeah. I think I'm gonna put Sleazy on my first day out, man.
SPEAKER_04Sleazy.
SPEAKER_03I think I'm gonna go ahead and see. Go make it. You feel me?
SPEAKER_04Go stamp it.
SPEAKER_03You feel me? He you feel me, so I think I'm gonna go ahead and put that in play. Um I already told y'all T B. Yeah, T B. O MBP. We got a lot of shit going on, man. There's a lot of shit coming up. Stay tuned.
SPEAKER_04No, for sure. Keep it going.
SPEAKER_03And if y'all have to say that for me, we like that. We got some coming from you. Shout out, my boy.
SPEAKER_04Wow, that's it right there. Alright, shit. What's um, damn, so you did some time. I down there don't even know what the hell you would locked up for. How the hell let's talk about that? How that shit happened, man. Well what transpired that you could talk about from you going to jail, like what was the situation? What was the, you know what I'm saying? On some hot hair shit, should it just chill? So it was more like some humble shit. So they don't know you basically cham you up and you end up doing how much time for that?
SPEAKER_03I ended up doing uh 18 months on that case. Yeah. And then they ended up giving me a year. Well, they really gave me 18 months on that one, but they ran six months concurrent.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03So they turned around and gave me a year on the other one. But the other one was like, I was literally at the water balloon. They we had a little water balloon fight, like they kicking it, we all had to park with chilling. Little females get to fight or whatever, whatever. I'm sitting there chilling. I'm on the dirt bike, I'm just sitting there. All these pull up. Turn the lights on after he finna hit me. Automatic start. Automatic start. Throw a second gear, 12 o'clock, take off. Say God. Took a roll with. I ain't gonna fit. I gotta get you in for that.
SPEAKER_04Hell yeah, that's crazy. So basically, for what I'm hearing, both of his situations done on some like humbug shit. So you could have done it avoided. Yeah, you could have avoided both of them bitches then. So once you got in there, bitch, because I'd have been in that motherfucker, that's when you go to thinking, like, damn, why the fuck I done. I'm in this bitch for some bullshit. I could've really not even. Out of everything, though.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, listen, I'd have had some of your those conversations like out of everything, but I'm in here for this. For this, yeah. It just really was an eye-opener. It was like it's time to really change. Like all that moving around, if it ain't beneficial for them babies or some money, it really is tight. Like I had to feel me tighten up.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and that's crazy that you said it, because that's what I was gonna get at though. Like, did anything from them situations make you like change or lead to you like even just like taking your music more serious or just life in general, like Yeah.
SPEAKER_03It made me it made me look at life totally different. It made me look at time different.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Like a lot of time you just sitting there scrolling on your phone. I would get that different now. Any time you just wasting that dead time, I feel like it could be doing something to benefit yourself.
SPEAKER_04No, I'm sure doing something more productive. I can speak on that though, because that's one of the biggest things I learned about being locked up. Like, I'm in that bitch, like number one for me, it was like, oh, I don't supposed to be in here with you, dumb ass niggas. Like, no lock to the niggas I've been there with, but it's like, I'm kind of too smart to be. You know what I'm saying? So it really was like a waste of time, and then like you speaking on, like, that shit made me value my time way more. Like, I don't spend a lot of time on no bullshit, or even just being mad or being like, bro, I be letting shit go and getting over shit. But you you you hit it on the head, and I'm glad because motherfuckers need to hear that shit, especially the younger, you know what I'm saying, generation, my why years, you know what I'm saying? Niggas be moving and thinking so spurred a moment. But it's like, bro, when you really look, sit down, look at life, figure out what you want to do with your life, you really got all the time in the world. Like you how I'm 22. You 22. That's what I'm saying. Like, I'll be 35, and by the time this drop, I'll be 35. I be looking at my young niggas like, bruh, knowing what I know now, nigga, if I was 20, 22, 25, like I was 25 when I got like the nigga did five years, you feel me? So I be looking at it like, bruh, y'all got all the time in the world. Even niggas my age, we still got time to figure our shit out and make it happen. I always tell my brother, like too eight. Definitely not. I always tell my brother this. I say, we we old enough to know better, but we young enough to still make all our shit happen. You feel me? So that's a good place to be. But when you younger, like you still got your whole life ahead of you. You already know you know that. But it's like, bro, you still got time to really make certain mistakes. Obviously, we don't want to make none, but that's how you learn, though.
SPEAKER_03That's why it's always like when they used to tell you in school, you can't always only have one route.
SPEAKER_04No, facts, yeah.
SPEAKER_03You feel me? For sure. Like music is definitely number one. You feel what I'm saying? I ain't gonna sugarcoat me. No, that's good. We got real estate, like dogs, you feel me? Yeah, I'm investing in other artists, like I'm looking for artists, you feel what I'm saying? Like, I'm on some you feel me. I'm already you know, just going to school for my CDLs. I went back to school in the joint. I got my high school diploma, yeah, I got my carpet license, you feel me? I got my other certificates. I did all type of shit.
SPEAKER_04Like, yeah, you ain't just waste your time. Yeah, that's a good thing. Nah, for sure. Hold on, we gotta start right there and speak on that though, because that's a good one, though. I'm glad you brought that up. Because I was the same type of nigga. Like, I'm in there, I'm taking classes, I'm doing all types of shit. Even just simple, um, when you was in there with was you getting good days for the shit. Yeah, like it's so crazy though. I used to have niggas in that bitch that they wouldn't even go take the classes for the five days, for the one day. My one nigga used to be like, bro, that shit only one day. Like, bro, the class a year, that's 12 days, and they was giving you 90 day dumps and like bro, they who don't want to leave this bitch early, like fuck the class of the school and shit. Like, I'm trying to get the fuck up out this bitch as soon as possible.
SPEAKER_03And I'm not doing that with this time.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. I'm still gonna learn something. Playing cards or on this tablet. Bullshitting, playing domino, niggas gambling, they all the niggas that wasn't like trying to do something with their time, them the niggas that end up finding, you know, some bullshit to be doing with the time. Cause you gotta fill your day with something. But I'm glad you hit on that though, because a lot of niggas be be not taking advantage of the opportunities, like being locked up, hell yeah, it's fucked up, but like you said, it's what you make it. Like, you feel me? This biggest could be a graduate or a motherfucking uh college, nigga, for real for you. So that's good that you learned that though. So getting out, what you think like was your biggest like challenges, because I'm pretty sure you know, like, damn, it's certain shit I ain't trying to do because I ain't trying to go back. So now when you be moving, like what's the type of shit you be making sure you keep in the front of your mind?
SPEAKER_03Well, first they had put me in the happy house, which I feel like was really like the player is move they could've did.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Going like being all the way out now because they went they leaned me into society. Yeah, because that change was like crazy. Like everything went from small to you back in the big league. Like you feel me? Like counting, yeah, everything count. Like, so it's like, oh, whatever. Like I really had to really sit down and direct myself, like, okay, now this for all that studying and all that, you feel me? This back to the books. Now I gotta go back to the books. That's why I just came clothing brand.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03You feel me? Are you dropping the clothing brand? Okay, man, yeah. Okay, mafia department of the clothing brand, man. Mafia debt, man. Tap in.
SPEAKER_04Mafia department, y'all tap in.
SPEAKER_03I'm uh I'm imagining brain, uh, or you just I uh I'm waiting on my I'm waiting on my first job to get back. Okay, yeah, next time you already know. Come back.
SPEAKER_04When you get to the clothing, you know you gotta come back with that's good. That's another little revenue stream for sure. Hell yeah.
SPEAKER_03Got the back to school job. Okay, 16th for this month.
SPEAKER_04The 16th, all right. You feel me?
SPEAKER_03What are y'all gonna be doing with that? We're just doing book buy school supplies, you feel me? We're going over there to fish and further with Leandre now. Okay, y'all. We're just gonna turn up, you feel me?
SPEAKER_04No, for sure. That's a good thing.
SPEAKER_03For the community, man. I'm trying to change my image, man. I don't want everybody to be, you feel me.
SPEAKER_02I ain't no person that you feel me, everybody painted out to be.
SPEAKER_03You feel what I'm saying? Come get your own, you feel me, and me. Come get your own pronouns.
SPEAKER_04For sure. Nah, that's real. Definitely, definitely on that community gear back. Shout out uh fresh and faded, they definitely be doing that. So that's a good move for sure.
SPEAKER_03Shout out my boys, they doing their thing for sure. Shout out 118, 318, shout out, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, shout out everybody doing their thing for sure, for sure. Now, that's a good move though, the back to school drive, then the clothing line. Yeah, nah. So you got a lot of stuff lined up, man, a lot of good stuff for sure. So you gotta just make sure you keep working your moves on all your shit you doing, bruh. For sure.
SPEAKER_03I appreciate that.
SPEAKER_04Nah, for damn sure, for damn sure, man. What's up with the kids?
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah, they good, man.
SPEAKER_04They good, hell yeah. Shout out my babies, man. Shout out to them, man. Nah, nah, nah. What would you say having kids did for you? Like, how did that change? You feel me? Your feeling of the world and shit.
SPEAKER_03Alright, I tell my boys this all the time that don't got kids. Like, if you feel like you move and irresponsible, or you ain't got no responsibilities, or you just move on loose, like some people need kids to make them redirect life, like re-evaluate the situation. Like, you feel what I'm saying? Like, my kids made me change. Like, I used to be hot-headed. I used to be, you feel me? No, you know. You feel me? Like, but and you feel me, the kids just make you you got something to live for. You got people that depend on you. So now it's like everything ain't just you. Yeah, you feel what I'm saying? You can't just think for the spare of the moment. You gotta think like, yeah, I do this right now. Who got you feel what I'm saying? So nah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, who gonna be there for these babies?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it changed everything.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that definitely do. I can say that. I tell them for quick, my kids saved my life, man. Similarity, man. I'm outside. You gotta have no kids. You're like, hold on, let me say.
SPEAKER_03I have no fake. I wish I would have I ain't go to palm. I ain't get to go. I ain't get to go to palm. I ain't go to homecoming. Yeah. I don't know. Like when I was in the drink, and I'm just looking back, I'm like, damn.
SPEAKER_04That's some shit right there.
SPEAKER_03Like, I ain't get to do none of this shit. Like, normal, like, I'm a hell nor like and just moving so fast, you ain't even probably getting time to do it.
SPEAKER_04I ain't even care about it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, like I ain't give a fuck time. Really thought about it, sit down, really evaluated life. Like, damn.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's a good point, man. So, all y'all youngsters, man, make sure y'all pick up on that piece of game for sure, man. Slow down, man. Live life like you got your whole life ahead of you for damn sure. So do all that shit. Go to prime, graduate, go to college. Like, that's one of the things I miss though. Like, I was thugging.
SPEAKER_03I want to go to college, bro. I swear, I keep saying it. Like, I've really been thinking, like, I think I want to go step on the campus and go.
SPEAKER_04I was just about to say, but that's a hell of a spirit. See, I used to be, I was all the way up the porch by then, but like I had little females and stuff back then. I'm married, nah. What's up, love? Don't kill me. But back then, I used to be thugging, so I used to just be pulling up to the colleges. But when I used to pull up, I used to be like, damn, this where everybody at, like, this where the real motion, this where the parties, this where the, you know, all the females, like this shit going on, like to the point I used to be down there just at them bitches all the time, not even enrolled in school for real. So, man, do all that shit, man. Live your life, man. Slow down, take your time, man. This shit is really going on out here, and this shit really serious, especially as as like us, you know, black men. They not playing. You feel me? Yeah, they gonna try to go out. System cookies at poverty. They cook you. But yeah, nah. So that's a good one though, man. So keep doing your thing on the music, man. Let the eyes know where to follow you at. Instagram, Facebook, all that shit.
SPEAKER_03Arena made Tanner on Facebook, arena made tanner on YouTube, man. O underscore M dot Tana on IG, you feel me? Tap in.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna put all his socials and shit on the bottom of the screen too. So y'all make sure y'all follow them, man. Y'all make sure y'all tap in with all the music, the clothing line, the back to school drive. Make sure y'all get on that, man. And let them know. Hold on, let them hear one more, man, before we get up off of here, man.
SPEAKER_03Make sure y'all show my boy Ted some.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, they already know what's up with Ted. My brother Ted. Yeah, Ted's. Whatever one you want to do. Just the one for the females. What's the name of it?
