Hi everybody. Welcome to But What Do We Know podcast. I'm Marissa.
SPEAKER_02And I'm Anna. Surprise!
SPEAKER_04Surprise! We're we're back again. They thought they were they were rid of us for sure this time. For forever.
SPEAKER_02I think do you think people hate listening to us? What? Do you think people hate listening to us? Like rage listen.
SPEAKER_04I don't think anybody cares about us enough to hate listening to us. I uh I think that we have a few dedicated followers.
SPEAKER_02We really do. Our friends. We have our internet friends.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, our internet, not even our real friends, just our internet friends. Because I don't even know anybody in real life that listens to this.
SPEAKER_02I I I had a couple of real life friends listen for a while when we were a lot more consistent, but I think most of them dropped off.
SPEAKER_04Oh I did too. Like it was like, and people would come up to me and be like, I heard about your blah blah blah blah blah. Like back in the day when we were back in the day. We were good. Um but yeah, so so sorry. This has been my fault that we haven't done this because my computer broke.
SPEAKER_02Like literally as we were getting ready to record last time. You're like, actually, uh my computer is broken.
SPEAKER_04It was the weirdest thing because my computer, we got it in like uh it was very sentimental because we've had that computer since 2019, 2018. It lasted forever and we did everything on it. And then I went to turn it on and I'm like, uh, tried a bunch of different chargers.
SPEAKER_02That laptop's been through like three podcasts, Cliff's pinball streaming, like his business, everything.
SPEAKER_04Everything. And it just decided to shit the bed, so now I have a new one.
SPEAKER_02Yay.
SPEAKER_04So I'm so sorry if anything's weird. It's not in this. It's good.
unknownIt's good.
SPEAKER_02What's new?
SPEAKER_04Um not much. Not much. Um, I am running a race this weekend. I don't feel prepared for at all.
SPEAKER_02Is it a 5k or something?
SPEAKER_04It's five miles.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god. I would perish. Oh.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I'm not so sure. Sorry, my internet connection's unstable. Mine was saying that too. Um, yeah, I'm not so sure how it's gonna be because I've been pretty like consistently running like three miles. So and at the end of three miles, I'm like, I don't feel good, I'm tired. So I'm not sure how another two is going to work out.
SPEAKER_02Like running three miles, like you run the whole three miles, like not because like I can't run more than like 30 feet without needing to start walking.
SPEAKER_04I've been like pretty good about it, yeah. Like occasionally, like halfway through, I'll take like a little break just to like regroup and like fix my hair my hair or like my pants or something, or whatever feels funky. But I've been I've been doing okay with it.
SPEAKER_02Like a little misfitness over here. Running's bad for your body.
SPEAKER_04It's it is, but it makes me feel it makes my mind feel very good. That's good. It makes it feel very calm. That's nice. Unfortunately.
SPEAKER_02Well, good luck on your race.
SPEAKER_04Thanks. I'll probably get last dead last place.
SPEAKER_02I'm proud of you for even doing it. Thank you. You're welcome.
SPEAKER_04My um my one of my co-workers is an ultramarathon runner. And wait, I'm sorry, yeah, he ran like a 65 miles.
SPEAKER_0265 miles?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it was 65 miles. And he he said something to me today because we were talking, I was asking him about it, and he was like, uh, what's your pace? Like 11, 11, 11 minute mile? And I'm like, it's like 12, but uh I was like, yeah, close enough. He's like, yeah, mine's about seven.
SPEAKER_00And like, oh, okay.
SPEAKER_04Like I don't know.
SPEAKER_02I don't know that I've walked 65 miles in my lifetime combined.
SPEAKER_04I'm sorry. I keep losing you.
SPEAKER_02Oh, can you hear me?
SPEAKER_04Wait, what did you say?
SPEAKER_02I said, I don't know that I've walked 65 miles in my lifetime. Com combined, cumulative.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, it's outrageous.
SPEAKER_02That can't be good for you. He's doing great, I guess. I'm sure he's in perfect health. His joints must be fucked though.
SPEAKER_04No, for sure, but he's like a he's a skinny little guy, so always the skinny guys. I know. My big ass running around in circles. But um, yeah, other than that, that's it. That's all that's really going on. That's great.
SPEAKER_02I love that for you. What's going on with you? Yeah. Still in the trenches of motherhood. You know?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Just trying to keep my sanity one day at a time.
SPEAKER_04You're like really in the trenches of motherhood. I was thinking about this.
SPEAKER_02I really am. We're not we're not like sane in this house.
SPEAKER_04You guys are like, you got you got some kids in that house.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you texted me the other day, you're like, Anna, you have two kids, and I'm like, I know.
SPEAKER_04I was thinking about it because I'm like, they're not like little tiny, tiny, like, they're still babies, but I'm like, those are like little rascals now.
SPEAKER_02Dude, they're so loud, the two of them. Like Remy's like loud now as a a four-year-old, but like he was a pretty peaceful baby. Ruby's just fucking loud. Like, she has like a hoarse voice and just like screams at the top of her lungs. Like, not like from crying or she's just like loud, just like likes to scream, and I'm like, Jesus, fu and then she starts screaming, and then Remy starts screaming to like play with her, and I'm like, gotta walk out of here.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like I need to leave. This is too much for me. It's too loud.
SPEAKER_02It's too loud. I don't know.
SPEAKER_04We have um Andy's going through he he's like laying here with me. Andy's been going through something, we're not sure what it is. Oh um, but he is like very happy, like he's super happy, but he's very like emotional right now. Like he if we're not paying attention to him for a long enough time, like on certain days, like he definitely has like his days, but he'll just like come up to us and he needs attention. He just needs attention. And every he's just always like he always has that like little sad little face, and he just wants to he's always crying about something, but that's like not like an like he's not sad. He just like that he knows that that will get attention. So he's been doing it so much recently. He's just very emotional.
SPEAKER_02Maybe he has summertime sadness.
SPEAKER_04Hold on, it went completely blank. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_02I said maybe he has summertime sadness.
SPEAKER_04I think he does because summertime's like not his time.
SPEAKER_02I feel him on that. Poor guy.
SPEAKER_04He's he just wants the cold. Don't we all? Yeah. It's too hot. So it's like happening in the world since we've we've spoken last.
SPEAKER_02I literally have no idea. I've I feel like I've been so disconnected from like current events. I don't know what's going on in the world. Actually, I do know what's going on in the world.
SPEAKER_04Um tell me.
SPEAKER_02Okay, I don't know if you've been seeing it, but have you been following what's going on with Ashley St. Clair? Do you know who that is? Do you know who that is? Okay, so Ashley St. Clair is, as we know, the most recent baby mama for with Elon Musk. And so she was a um like MAGA influencer.
SPEAKER_04Right.
SPEAKER_02Had a baby with Elon Musk, and now she's been going on TikTok doing get ready with me and like spilling all the tea about MAGA and Elon and everything, and now she's on like the podcast circuit. Like she was on Hassan Pikers podcast, she's been on like um I forget the one other one, the one with the two girls on there, like she's been like making her rounds on podcasts, and like she didn't sign an NDA, like she's just saying everything about all the secrets that MAGA told her, and I'm like living for it. But there's like a lot of like commentary that she's just like doing it for the grift, um, because like people are paying attention to her, and that she's not actually like she says like she's like MAGA's a cult, like I'm no longer like I've seen the light, like I'm no longer in the cult, and they are saying like she's just doing this for attention to get money to get attention, all that kind of stuff. But it's very interesting, and I find it interesting because she's not being like sued for defamation, she's not getting any kind of like repercussions from MAGA about it.
SPEAKER_04Right, that's weird.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Um, but she's like basically implied that Elon um was involved in rigging the election with his like space lasers and whatever the fuck he's doing.
SPEAKER_04So I mean, I don't think anyone's shocked by that information.
SPEAKER_02She had a get ready with me where she talked about I don't know if you remember when the election happened, there was like um when Trump started like winning all these states, like all the swing states he won, and everyone was like, He how did he win like all the swing states? And um there was like a report that came out that Elon was at a watch party for the the results coming in, and he said that he knew that Trump won before it was made official. Yes, yeah. And they were like, That what do you mean? Like he's like, Oh, I I just know. And she said, like, he told her the same thing that he knew ahead of time, and he he said something about his satellites in space, and she said, I'm curious, but I I'm afraid if I ask more, I'm gonna be deposed. And he goes, That's a wise choice, and I was like, Okay. So, yeah, I don't know, she's like making her podcast uh circuits, making all the appearances and spilling all the tea on Elon and the MAGA people. And she said another thing she said was whenever there's like um like whatever an event going on or a a news situation, like like uh the assassination attempt at the um correspondence dinner, there's like a group chat with all these MAGA influencers, and they get like um direction from people from the administration, like, oh talk about this, like use this phrase on on X or whatever. And she said, like the example is like with that assassination attempt, like all of a sudden everyone's talking about this is why we need the ballroom, and like she's like you notice, like they'll use the exact kind of phrasing because they're getting direction from the administration as to what to say. And I'm like, none of this is surprising to me, but it's interesting watching.
SPEAKER_04Not at all. Yeah, that I actually know nothing about her, so they'll have to like watch the things. I I don't know, but it sounds very interesting.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, look her up. I was just like scrolling on TikTok one day and she came across and I was like, excuse me, and then like I started going into I started following her, and she's like been coming out with pretty regular videos about it. But what's interesting is like she won't give a direct answer as to how her child with Elon was conceived. Cause like really, yeah, because like um Hassan Piker said something like, Oh, well, you had sex with Elon. And she's like, gave like a face. He's like, What did you not? Like, was it IVF? And she's like, and it wasn't IVF. He's like, So like you had sex, like, and she's like, I'm not talking about it. Like, I was like, what do you mean? Like what happened? Like, why? And like another podcast asked her if it was IVF, and she's like, No, it wasn't IVF, and she'd like, so you conceive natural. What is it? And she just like, well, I don't know if she's like doesn't want to like put the words to it, but I don't know, it's weird. But she said the conception was consensual, and I'm like, Okay, that's good. I guess I don't know. I'm happy for you. She also says that uh Elon offered her 40 million dollars to keep her quiet about everything, and she declined the 40 million dollars, so she says, I don't know. It's just I don't know. You know, I you know I like the drama, I like the tea, I like listening.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, of course. So it's interesting though. Um sorry, you go frozen. I don't know what's happening. Um speaking of drama and tea, I watched one of your recommendations of something to watch recently.
SPEAKER_02The documentary.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, by your recommendations, I mean like the number one thing that was on Netflix like a week ago.
SPEAKER_02The number one thing everyone was watching on Netflix.
SPEAKER_04Yes. But it I heard it from you, so um, I watched the crash, which was by far one of the most annoying and infuriating documentaries I've watched in a long time.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, did you know that case before you watched the documentary?
SPEAKER_04I didn't actually. I had no I knew nothing about it, so I went in completely blind.
SPEAKER_02I knew about the case before the documentary. I remember seeing um stuff about it online. Um but you going in blind, what well, I don't know, should we give like a synopsis of what this case is?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I I'll do my best to give a synopsis of it. Um so essentially the the story was or the story of what happened was there were f three teenagers in a car, two males and one female. The girl was driving the car, and they were recorded on like CCTV footage driving into the wall of a building at like a hundred miles per hour, and um they were found the two boys in the car were dead. The girl was very badly injured, but she did survive. And long story short, the girl, which her name is like completely everyone's name is escaping me right now, but I I have their names.
SPEAKER_02So the girl that was driving is Mackenzie Sherilla. Mackenzie. And the people the boys in the car was her boyfriend Dominic Russo and his friend Davion Flanagan.
SPEAKER_04Um so long long story short, Mackenzie was arrested for murder because she throughout the investigation it was revealed that she she ran the car into the side of the building at full speed pedaled to the metal on purpose. And there were I I think one of the things I found the most interesting about this, like just because obviously I'm not gonna go over the whole thing, but the one of the things I found most interesting was like the forensics of the car, like of vehicles that I I didn't know that was a thing. So like when they when the car crashed, they were able they had like an investigator come out to determine how the car crashed. Which you would think like, oh, it just it just crashed, like how would they know that? Well, they were able to see when she when she hit the brake, when she was full pedal to the metal, like did she steer in a different direction, like to try and get out of the situation, did she not? And throughout all of this, I think that would be one of the more determining factors that she did it on purpose, that she did not try to break, she did not try to swerve. Right. Um she ran them into the side of the wall of a building.
SPEAKER_02And um she at one point tried to use the defense that she had pots and like the medical term pots, and the pots caused her to like like lose control, and that's why her foot stayed on the gas pedal, and I'm like, you don't it when you have pots and you like lose your like whatever control of your body, it doesn't put pressure down on your foot to hit the gas pedal all the way down to the floor. Like if anything, it'll lighten up and you like kind of pass out or like go to the side. It's not going to like that cause that's a lot of force required to go a hundred miles per hour on a pedal.
SPEAKER_04It's a ton I I like, yeah. I was I was talking when Cliff and I were watching, I was talking about it because like you guys have all been there through my whole experience with like driving and driving anxiety and like all of those feelings associated with it, which I like have you know come a long way, so I can feel I feel that I can like speak on the opposite side, but any time that I ever felt anxious or like uncomfortable or not that I ever passed out or but I definitely felt like I might or I might felt like lightheaded. There was never a time that I thought like you know what would I definitely feel like if I if I get any more panicky, I'm gonna be pedaled to the metal. Like right. If anything, I was like, I'm gonna lose control of my body and my li Do you know what I mean? Yeah. So as soon as I was I'm like, first of all, this might be a hot take, but I think POTS is a blanket a a blanket statement diagnosis. I don't know for everyone, I don't quite understand what POTS is, and I don't know that people do, but I feel like it's used very vaguely.
SPEAKER_02I feel like and I'm sure there are people obviously who have at actual medical conditions and it's considered pots, but I feel like pots is uh one of those now um like trendy d like TikTok diagnoses that people want to claim as their own.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I think it is. I do believe that it's a real, but as soon as she said POTS, I was like, she's fucking full of shit. Like I and I hate to say that because again, I do believe that like that is a diagnosis, but But I don't think she was actually diagnosed with POTS.
SPEAKER_02I think like because that didn't come out in her trial as like medical evidence, like she just says she has it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's it was the most I think and the worst the worst character in this whole thing is the mother. Her mother I think both her parents the we so her mom gave a testimony in in court, not a testimony, like a character statement for Mackenzie.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04And it was you couldn't hold me at gunpoint to say that to to speak in the manner that she was speaking in in that situation. When she said what okay, the other boy, is it Davion? Davion, okay. When she talked she was talking about the She's talking about Mackenzie and how this greatly affected her, and she lost her boyfriend. And but she made a statement where she was like, although Davion was, you know, he was he was killed too. He was a new friend. Yeah. He he didn't really and the judge was like, oh, so he didn't matter? Like his life didn't matter? And I'm like, where did you think that that was a good place to be that? And she's like, no, no, that's not what I meant.
SPEAKER_02Both our parents are just like, I don't know. Well, when they were doing the um like talking head interviews, and they were like, Yeah, we knew that Mackenzie smoked pot, but I'd rather her smoke pot than do other stuff, and I'm like, she's 17, like uh like, or whatever, 17, 18, like you can't just say, like, well, we know, but like, it's as long as they're doing it at home, like, I I know parents take that stance, like, I'm not really like for that stance, but um, they just like let her kind of do anything. It seemed like and it seemed like I'm obviously not victim blaming uh Davion and Dominic, but like sh Dominic was a couple years older than her, and she like was like moved in with him, and they were living on their own when she was like 17, 18 years old, like or 16 or 17, I think she was. So I just think her parents made a lot of poor decisions um in raising her. I I think she probably still has like some kind of personality disorder, like it's like hello. Um but did you see her dad either he either got fired or is on administrative leave from his job as a teacher after the documentary came out. Um because he worked for a Catholic school and they were not okay with his comments about his about weed and how like I smoke weed and like what and so the diocese had an issue with it and they I don't know if they fired him and put him out and leave, but he was like very upset about that.
SPEAKER_04Uh wait, hold on. Can you repeat the last part of that?
SPEAKER_02Which part? The diocese. The diocese. Yeah, the diocese were very upset with his comments about that he smokes weed and he's okay with his kids smoking weed as long as he's their home or whatever he said.
SPEAKER_04Right. I mean, what the fuck did he think? If he works for a Catholic school, did they think they were just gonna be okay with that? Like I'm surprised that he they even kept him after the incident at all. Like That's true, yeah. Now, have you seen the most recent little update with this case? I don't know, I don't think so. There the validity of it is not well researched by me. But there is uh like text messages that came out between Mackenzie and her dad.
SPEAKER_01Oh god.
SPEAKER_04And it's something about um one of the text messages was like, Daddy, come rub my feet and bring me some warm milk. Mm-hmm. What? And people were like, oh, whatever, blah blah blah. But there some little sleuth found out that her Starbucks order didn't have any milk in it because she is lactose intolerant. What?
SPEAKER_02What does that mean?
SPEAKER_04So inquiring minds wonder what she might might have meant by warm milk. And was there some kind of weird incestuous thing? Because who texts their dad like that? That's gross. I don't even text my dad at all. No. Especially not to bring me more milk and rub my feet. Yuck.
SPEAKER_02Weird family. We well Oh, did you see two with the friend Rosie, her friend Rosie. Um she was annoying too. Well, her friend Rosie was in the documentary giving her take on everything, but she's like, she's like, oh, I do social media. She had a million followers on TikTok as like a Pilates fitness influencer. And she let she lost like I think like 60,000 followers that last I saw um after the documentary came out. Because she was at like 999,000. And I checked the other day, she was at like 930 or 940 or something, and she turned off comments to all her TikToks, and she actually has I don't think she's made a new TikTok since that documentary came out.
SPEAKER_04She was there's just so much bad decision making in this, and there's just no there weren't a lot of redeeming qualities about almost anyone in that entire documentary.
SPEAKER_02They were all trashy people.
SPEAKER_04They were so trashy. And her her interview, who which attorney signed off on that at the end? That was she just walked out and you're like That was all like a bad performance.
SPEAKER_02It was so bad. And that stupid bun on her head.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god. That's that's when you knew that she wasn't all there. As I have a huge bun on my head for a while. Yeah, same like she's not there. We're we're getting ready for bet, not an interview.
SPEAKER_02Well, and she kept like checking with her lawyer, like, is that good? Like, is that good to say? Like, can Dodge say more? Like she we kept checking in to make sure she wasn't saying something that would get her in more trouble.
SPEAKER_04I have no sympathy for her. I think she's absolute trash.
SPEAKER_02Is she in jail for life? I don't remember what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_04I think so, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_04I think she has a possibility of parole and like we figured out because we're gonna be we were like laughing about it. I think we'll be like 47 when she has parole. So but or possibility for parole, but they were like it's not it doesn't look good.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. But the camera footage of the car driving down the street at 100 miles an hour in the dead of night, terrifying. And then I think like they didn't discover the car until like the sun came out because like no one everyone was sleeping.
SPEAKER_04One thing that really stumped me about this, and that I do think like I don't know, there's just something about it that's very strange to me is why I understand she killed him because she had a lot of issues and she wanted, you know, to be possessive. But of all of the ways to go about doing that, I just can't think of a way that's more like she didn't know that she was going to survive that.
SPEAKER_02True. Yeah. Well, I but I think she is so crazy that she would have been okay with her dying too. Like I think I don't think there was any forethought to that. She just wanted to make she wanted him to die and she didn't care if he died if she died alongside him. But I think she knew she'd had a better chance because she was the only one that had a seatbelt on.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. But just I don't know, there seems like there has to be an easier and better and more if not like saying to kill people, but I'm just saying like if you're going to kill people, there's uh ways to do it without also like 95% killing yourself.
SPEAKER_02I think it was for the visuals and the and the dramatics. Yeah. But you know what? I've like when this case came out, I remember seeing the body cam footage of the cops telling um Dominic's mom, or I can't remember if it was Dominic Dominic's or Davion's mom. There was police body cam footage that came out of the police going to her house and telling her, and it went viral. I think it was Davy I think it was Dominic's mom. Um, and it like went viral on TikTok and like it was viewed like millions of times because it's like the most gut gut-wrenching like thing you can watch. Um, but just like the way the cops went about it, because like a cop and a chaplain show up to your house and your son's not home, and they keep telling her, like, oh, sit down, sit down, and she's like, No, what's happening? Just calm down. Like, don't tell her to calm down. You're just about to tell her the most devastating news you'll ever receive.
SPEAKER_04There's gotta be a I don't know. We gotta we gotta think about how we're saying that, you know? Mm-hmm. Just showing up to people's houses like that. Like, there's gotta be a a more efficient way.
SPEAKER_02And she she's like came out out on her porch, had like a cup of coffee in her hand, like completely like obviously not expecting anything. And then but I don't know, it's like so sad. Obviously. But also, like, why is that like ever when that footage came out? The body cam footage, I was like, why is like this is like not something the public needs to be seeing? Like, I like I don't I agree. Like, I understand body cam footage for like arrests and like whatever, like interviewing suspects, but like you're telling a mother that her son died. Like, why is that on body cam to be released to the public? I don't understand. I don't think it needs to be at all.
SPEAKER_04I think there's been a lot of things recently coming out that's super surprising it's even been on the internet at all.
SPEAKER_02Um I really need a detox from the internet.
SPEAKER_04Me too.
SPEAKER_02It's bad.
SPEAKER_04Me freaking too, because I uh I don't know, there's too much information. But yet I I know nothing about what's going on. So like I don't know what what information I have.
SPEAKER_02I feel like with the internet and with TikTok, I know too much about normal people's lives. Like, not celebrities, not politicians, not public figures, but like just like normal ass people who just happen to show up on the internet, and like I know too much about their lives.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like that Haley Vest girl. Wait, the what girl? Haley Vest. Who's Haley Vest? You texted me about Haley Vest.
unknownHaley Beck?
SPEAKER_02No, the Haley Vest Oh, Haley Beck? Who's Haley Beck? Haley Beck. Oh, I was talking about I was talking about Haley Vest. Who's Haley Vest? She's been going viral on TikTok for an eating disorder and being a Pilates instructor. Have you seen her? No. Oh my god. She's oh well okay, so not to like put her on blast, but she's been going viral on TikTok because she is a Pilates instructor, and she posts a lot of like her teaching class or whatever, but she is very clearly severely in the midst of an eating disorder, like yeah, skeletal frame.
SPEAKER_04So I've seen her before. I don't know anything about her, but I've seen her before.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so she's been going viral because people are now noticing that this woman with an obvious eating disorder is like teaching Pilates and like is whatever, and people are like, the Pilates Studio needs to fire her, like she shouldn't have a platform, like this is damaging to young girls and whatever, like the whole conversation about eating disorders. Um, but I remember like seeing all these TikToks and I was like, what do you mean the Pilates Studio has to fire her? Like that's like a lawsuit happening. Like, if if she's doing her job and clients are coming in, they can't fire her because she has an eating disorder. Like, she could sue the shit out of them. Um, but she did confirm in the comments that she has been fired from the Pilates studio. So I don't know what the T is on that. Um, but someone else did some dig deep diving on Haley's page, and they found out, like, because she used to be obviously like healthy, like weight and um prior to all of this, but they found out that she started losing a lot of weight after her brother passed away, and they think like that compounded you know whatever was going on, and she might just be like in a bad place mentally, and it's being exacerbated by an eating disorder.
SPEAKER_04So people are like, maybe like we need to like not be bullying this woman on social media, so I don't know, and maybe that's like maybe Pilates is the only thing keeping her healthy at this point, like or keeping her motivated, right?
SPEAKER_02But she uh obviously and she and she replied, and that one that talked about her brother passing away, she replied, like, thank you for this. Um, like I am working to find someone to help me be healthy and feel healthy and whatever. And I was like, Okay, like that's maybe not harass this woman anymore. Like, I even saw like there was a registered dietitian taking screen grabs of this woman's page and talking about her anorexia, and I'm like, you are a registered dietitian, like you have credentials, she is not your client. Like, you have no right to be talking about someone's medical background, like you that I feel like I'm not a diet, I'm not a dietitian, obviously, but like as a counselor, you have a code of ethics, which I assume probably they have something similar like that, and you can't just speak about people's diagnoses and you aren't the one that diagnose them.
SPEAKER_04Honestly, though, I can say that I do I can, you know, I agree a hundred percent, but I you know what the kind of videos I watch. I know. Like, I'm so deep into that world and like the girl the girl world that and all that is is just giving opinions about people's eating habits and like choices. So it would be very, very hype hypocritical for me to say that. But on one hand, Amberlyn Reed is back and she's back with her feeder girlfriend. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_02Is she back to being monetized?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, she's back to being I believe she's I believe she's being monetized. I never watch I never watch Amberlynn Reed through her own page because I refuse to give her money, but I watch it through like reaction channels only because I have a huge and interesting social life, of course. And but yeah, she is back, but she's back with if if you're following Girlworld, she's back with Tommy, and Tommy is the feeder that killed her uh her ex-girlfriend.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god. And I hope you know you are the only one following Girlworld.
SPEAKER_04Wait, what?
SPEAKER_02You're the only one following Girl World.
SPEAKER_04That's actually not true because I got a message. And I don't just I don't remember who it is. I think it was Hannah. But she said she's following it too. So it's not just me.
SPEAKER_02Well, I'm girlworld. I'm glad Amberlynn is back for your viewing pleasure.
unknownI can't wait. Okay.
SPEAKER_04I haven't seen she hasn't done a lot recently.
SPEAKER_02I think she's keeping it chill, but so I actually don't know who Haley Beck is. Wait, hold on. Is this is this Noah Beck's sister? Yes. Oh, okay. I know of this like when this first came out, like when there was accusations, but I don't know if I heard like anything beyond that.
SPEAKER_04Oh well, I went down a quite a rabbit hole about Haley Beck the other night, like deep down a rabbit hole because it is disturbing and not in the way that I think you would think it's disturbing. Like it is, of course, she's a predator. Um, but I found all of the police reports and chat logs on Reddit.
SPEAKER_02I think I found I saw some of the textbook a while ago, and wasn't it like basically like the student was like calling her pathetic? Basically, like he was like, I don't know, had the upper hand in this dynamic.
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah, he is bullying her. And that's the part for me that I'm like this baffles me. Um so I did like a little breakdown of the thing. So this this happened in 2024. Um, she's Noah Beck's sister. I don't even know who Noah Beck is, but I think he's he's like a famous TikToker. Yeah. Um she was a psychology and social studies teacher in high school and in 2024. And she was in a relationship sort of with it seems that she flirted with most of her male students, but she was specifically in a relationship with one of her male students. His name's redacted in all of the files that are here. Um it was in Peoria, which I think is is that Illinois? I have no idea. Um but what what really got me about this is that she was 27 years old at the time, and these kids are obviously in high school, but she is number one, she filmed her classroom, like TikTok filmed like herself in her classroom constantly. So you can watch her all of her behavior inside of the classroom, like at all times. She had on her whiteboard her Instagram handle, uh that's weird. She yeah, she was super fucking weird. But the part that made this because I think when you think of like a female teacher and a male student situation, you think of the teacher as having the upper hand in that situation. Like she is the one that's like navigating this and luring that student in and kind of like pushing them in the direction that they want to go. This was the exact opposite. And I'm not saying that the student did anything wrong. I don't think the student, of course, like she's the adult in this situation, but the way that the conversations go is absolutely fucking baffling to me. Because, first of all, letting a man letting any kind of male talk to you in that way as an adult woman is crazy, but letting a teenager talk to you in that way Hold on, I gotta find. There's like one specific it's amazing. I went was looking through Reddit and like there's like a hundred pages of police reports. I was trying to like find the specific um conversation that this is like what immediately sucked me in.
SPEAKER_02Wasn't like the student asking her for money too.
SPEAKER_04Yes. This is where Yeah, okay, okay. Um that was my favorite part of the situation. Okay, well, whatever, I'm just gonna read this one then. So there's a part in the in the in the files where she is like desperate for this kid's attention. And she said she will pay him five dollars per compliment that he gives her. And and she does. She pays him via Apple Pay per compliment. Oh my god. Um hold on, I think I can. Okay, yes, here it is, here it is. She said Um Okay, so here's what it says Haley sent a photo. This photo is of Haley taking a picture of her reflection in a mirror. She's clothed she's clothed wearing black boots, blue shorts, black sleeveless shirt, and a brown-white trucker style hat. The background of the photo appears to be a bedroom. The caption of the photo is Posty Fit Check It. Uh he reacts to the photo and then Haley says, one compliment gets you five dollars gas money. Then he says, Well, I'm gonna have to shell out about five compliments. And she goes, Better start now. This is an almost 30-year-old woman, by the way, a teacher. She goes, Well, no, now they're forced. I don't want them anymore. And he goes, I think your boots are very fitting, they proportion well on your legs. I think your top is cute because of the fray lacy look. I think the hat is fire. Okay, Belle, I see that. And I like your hair straight. Boom. And she goes, Was that hard for you to be honest? And then he reacts, or whatever, she reacts to the thing. She goes, You should have seen me the last time I wore this shirt. It was tight on me. And he goes, Crazy. Cough it up. And she goes, you know, just to look good would have sufficed. Why the helly are you driving 72 miles tonight? He said, You said five. She said, bro, or he goes, bro, because I have to go to this dumb youth camp. Well, whatever, that doesn't matter. Um and then she's like, maybe. Then she sent $25 in Apple Pay and it said compliments.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Um. So she was talking, and then there's another part that I thought was very funny.
SPEAKER_02I like his compliment. Okay, Belt. I see that.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. And I when I was watching a TikTok about it, they're like, the best part of that is he complimented nothing about her. Like he only complimented about her clothes.
SPEAKER_02Her clothing articles individually. Yes. And she paid him $25. I can't.
SPEAKER_04Um, here's another I'm just gonna share this with you because this has been like so I think it's so funny. Um he goes, he requests money from her. He's then she sends a picture of a hickey on her neck. And he goes, Oh goodness. Then she sends money. Then he goes, she's in the sun. He goes, You're gonna have skin cancer. And he goes, Hey sugar mommy, nice to hear from you at the perfect time. Look at you being telepathically connected. She goes, You better suck up right now because I cried myself to sleep last night because you didn't say love ya back.
SPEAKER_02Ewah.
SPEAKER_04I also decided I don't like the title of Sugar Mommy. It makes me feel used. And he goes, Oh gosh, what title do you prefer? Crybaby? And she goes, Watch it. I'm being drama. I didn't cry, but I was visibly shocked. Darling or doll always suffices.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04And he goes, This kid's kind of funny, actually. He goes, I fell asleep. Big whoop. And then he requests more money. And the caption says, sugar baby requesting money from dollface sugar mama.
SPEAKER_01I can't.
SPEAKER_04Um, she go, and then she goes, if I cut you off from the money benefit from all this, I really fear you would never speak to me. He laugh reacts. And he goes, I don't know if we should try to find out. And Haley goes, Is this a threat? I think you'd miss me just a little bit. But enjoy your expensive Fort Lauderdale pregnant lady beach tacos. No clue what that is about. He laughs, he laugh reacts, and then he goes, Probably. And she said, Nah, I was thinking how we started off. Literally nothing to do with money. How did we get to this point? And he just goes, Man. And she's like, back when you liked me for me and not my bank. First of all, she's a teacher in a public school. So like there's no bank. And whatever. She's like, he goes. Um oh, she's like, you also sometimes liked me for something that doesn't require money, but obviously no can do right now. And he laughs at it. He goes, nah, whatever you was doing the other night with your tongue, don't let that get out your indoor inventory for real. Keep that in your back pocket ready to go.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04And then he sent her 12 money requests. And um, it looks like she paid them and said she had her period. Um whatever. He asks her like to suck his dick and devour his balls. And then she said, like, oh, I am I'm being a rebellious teen. And he goes, Yup, just like always. A big kid stuck in high school, fucking a high schooler, shit crazy, the world we live in. Am I right?
SPEAKER_02Oh my god, this kid knows what he's doing.
SPEAKER_04He is so fucking smart, and like that's what drew me into it because like I don't know, I feel like it's this di the dynamic is so different than in anything else where he's just like he knows it. And in the inter they interviewed, which I thought was like I re like they interviewed a lot of the girls in the class, and the girls in their class were like, the boys knew that she would do anything, and she's like, so we just kind of like did our best and like tried to get good grades, but like all the boys got A's for everything.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04Mortifying.
SPEAKER_02I I don't know if I could live through that embarrassment. Yeah, the fact that don't let any man talk to you like that, but then uh a child.
SPEAKER_04And like you look at the pictures and stuff and he l he looks like a little kid.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I didn't see pictures.
SPEAKER_04Like not like a not like a little kid, like he obviously looks like he's older now, of course, than he was, but like come on.
SPEAKER_02Listen, some women just have such low self-esteem. And you know what? I wonder with her, like, if it has anything to do with her brother being so like TikTok famous and getting all the attention. And like I don't know if you like went down this rabbit hole, but there's like a weird relationship between Noah and his mom. Like I there's a whole lot of weird stuff going on in that family.
SPEAKER_04I don't know, man.
SPEAKER_02I don't know, but anyway, I hope she gets like arrested with and I mean she really adjusted like gets charged with or gets sentenced to whatever.
SPEAKER_04The case is being investigated currently, that's why it's like all of a sudden come out to uh come out into the light because it's like these the police reports have started to become released, and now the investigation is like pending for her. So I'm hoping that she goes to jail because it's so fucking disgusting.
SPEAKER_02And I think Noah had his comments on for off for a while when all of this started coming out, but it's like weird, it's like I mean, he has like was it has he has thirty almost 33 million followers on TikTok, and I'm like, can you imagine like not that like he worked hard for that or anything? I'm not saying that at all, but I'm just saying like this is your your career, like 33 million followers is very significant on TikTok, and like for it to be derailed because your sister like is a fucking cr insecure creep.
SPEAKER_04And the part that I also thought was interesting was like she apparently was very popular in high school. And but if you think about it, it like those are the kind of people, and I'm not saying anything, I'm not giving any slights against high school teachers, but a lot of people who can't get past high school become a high school teacher.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, like people who peaked in high school.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like you you don't see a lot of people who are not that cool in high school going back because I certainly did not.
SPEAKER_02When my younger sister well, I only have younger sisters, I don't have older sisters, when my but when my sisters graduated from high school, and they're significantly younger than me, my sisters are seven and nine years younger than me, when they graduated to high school, it was the same high school that I went to, and I went to their graduation ceremony, I felt like physically ill walking into my high school. Like I wanted no part of being in that building. Yeah, it's bizarre. That's how you know you have a good detachment from your high school.
SPEAKER_04I don't yeah. I I added okay, I had like my chorus teacher, and I added him on Facebook what when did we graduate from high school? Oh nine. Almost 20 years ago. And I added him on Facebook as like a funny joke at as soon as I graduated, and he said, I will never add you as a friend. I promise. That friend request, yeah, thank fucking god, has been pending for almost 20 years because he won't add me as a friend. And I'm like, that's a good teacher.
SPEAKER_02Yes, I know so many people are friends with their high school teachers on Facebook, and I would never. I actually came up as a it came up as a friend or people you may know was my eighth grade English teacher who's a woman, but and like now she's like very old, and she was great, like I loved her. But even I saw I was like, I'm not sending her a friend request, like it's weird. Eighth grade, that was like 30 years ago. Like well, not really, but you know, but like I don't need to be friends with my teachers.
SPEAKER_04No, what are they gonna what are we what do you guys have in common? Nothing.
SPEAKER_02But then I see teachers that I had who comment on my friends' stuff, and I'm like, no, it's I don't know, I don't it's too much.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, they don't want to do that.
SPEAKER_02Like, and there's like I know it's a different dynamic, but like for me with a counseling background, like I've had clients um come up as suggested friends on Facebook, and I've had clients who added me on Facebook, and like I don't accept them, like I don't add clients ever on Facebook, and then that's what actually prompted me to not have my full name on social media because I didn't want my clients or my clients' parents finding me on social media, and I'm like I have like such a strict rule about that, and then like teaching, I know it's obviously much different than counseling, just having teachers add their students on social media, it's it's always gonna be weird to me.
SPEAKER_04It's creepy.
SPEAKER_02The only teachers that I actually my college professors, I'm friends with one of them on Instagram and on LinkedIn, but I feel like that's a different dynamic because at where I am in my career, they're more like colleagues to me now than teachers. Like that's a we were basically adults. Yeah. Well, we were adults.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. I have I'm friends with one of my professors, but she also was like I don't know, not even ten years older than us, and we became friends after like after college. Right.
SPEAKER_02So I don't know. I think the world a lot of people in the world need healing. I agree.
SPEAKER_04I a hundred percent agree. Oh my god, sorry, I'm burping. Um I think that's all that I got as a kid. That's all that I have as well. That's all she wrote. Very sleepy today. Yeah, me too. I was gonna tell talk about my monks, but I'll get into that too hard at an hour.
SPEAKER_02You'll get too passionate about it.
SPEAKER_04I'll get too passionate. We'll save it for the next one.
SPEAKER_02Well, I'm gonna go to sleep so I can get some shadow before my crazy child wakes me up. So. Oh. Because she loves to not sleep through the night. To wake up.
