Feral show, thank you so much for stopping by. Wow, I didn't know if I'd ever say that again. I didn't know if I'd ever have a microphone and a table and a studio to operate in. It's funny. Right when we were getting ready to roll, we we uh we're in a studio downtown. So if you hear a little noise, that's cool. It's just part of being downtown. We used to do live remotes on TV in downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia. So we got used to the train whistle. It's funny, people want to come by and look in the studio. And this lady came in, she can't realize I can see her. And she's waving at me, but she doesn't know what she's waving at. So hey, if you're ever in downtown Somerville, Georgia, happening spot, come by and see us. Um today's sponsor, can't leave that out. Since I'm back in the air after 11 years, got to get the sponsor in, right? Dirt Poor Coffee. They were nice enough to give me a mug. It's beautiful. Uh, what's great is the coffee's wonderful, but the people were even better that operated. Heather and her team are absolutely phenomenal. So if you're ever in Somerville, Georgia, stop on by. Uh, get a cup of Joe and a cup of cheer uh uh because it's a wonderful place to go sit. Now, let's get back to the so-called elephant in the room. Where have I been for 11 and a half years? What happened? I had people stop me in Atlanta and poke me and go, You're real, man. I thought you died. So we're gonna tell that story today. Normally on my show, we we uh we used to have a syndicated radio show. It's funny. When I was doing radio, I had my slot was 10 to 12 and I opened for Rush Limbaugh. So big shoes, right? I'm I'm warming up for Rush Limbaugh. I don't talk about politics. I talk about love, lollipops, dating, marriage, uh, how to make your business function better from a behavioral standpoint. I write books on those topics. Uh I don't talk about politics unless it's part of the behavioral package to where people ask me to talk about someone's political stance. I'm the guy that watches political debates with no sound. So we used to do those remotes, and and people come up and go, hey man, I thought you were dead. That was almost true. The last time I sat in a chair with a microphone, we were having to stop the video to let me rest. So I was what we were doing is we were doing a two-hour so-called live show. We tape delay it. So if something happened to me, or if I got sick or basically had to vomit, they would tape delay it about 15 seconds, and then I could lay down or get to a garbage can or and then we could go. And then finally, my last remote, I realized that I was having trouble just walking up the street, and I was starting to look sickly, and people people didn't need to be around me anymore. So uh we had to pull the plug on radio. Uh it's funny because I got a uh I guess I can say it now, I'm free of the contract and the company's been dissolved. I was signed with asylum, big, big reality TV company, and they were adding me to the impossible line, right? If I can't use any more of that, just look it up. And then we all got canceled. So it was good. It got canceled about the time I was canceling myself from my illness. So what's the theme of our show? The only time I talk about these things, so write this down if you feel the need to. It's it's the tagline for my show, and it's always been my career, is the wake-up call you didn't ask for. What's that really mean? A lot of people don't want to face reality, and I'm an if-then guy because I do behavior. I've done behavior for almost 36 years. And my mentor was a very if-then guy. If you do this, then you receive this. So that's the whole theme of the show is we're gonna wake you up, we're gonna get you going, we're gonna get you to to where you want to be, and we're gonna have fun doing it. There's no reason to do this if we're not laughing and having fun. It's like people don't realize how much fun it is to get ready for the show at the end of the show. Um, you always want to enjoy what you're doing. If you're not, stop doing it. So the theme of today's show is don't ever give up. I'm not saying don't quit because there's a lot of people out there that should quit what they're doing. They're terrible at it. Um giving up is a whole different thing. It's a struggle. Something's been in front in front of you, something's attacked you, you're under attack from this, that always are attacking you. Or you're sick, or you're physically trying to lose weight, or there's there's a challenge there. And it's something that you've got to decide a commitment and not quit doing. Okay, that's different. But quitting is I'm terrible at the following. Why don't I go do something else? It's it's funny. Our child asks us to give our honest view of his baseball talent, our youngest. And I was like, okay, I used to be a high school coach of basketball. I'm not gonna sugarcoat it. Will I play pro? No. Will I play in high school? No. Will I play in middle school?
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_00Okay, that that pretty summed it up. Now he owns his own business. Uh, but uh, I was like, well, you're gonna go pro in something else besides athletics. It's no different than the NCAA commercial where they go, we have so many athletes per year, so many go pro in other things. So you gotta find out what your niche is and go get that. All right, so let's get back to the topic at hand. Where have I been for 11 years? Why did I come back? Uh why am I still trying to do this? And what's on the horizon uh going forward? Well, let's handle the 11 years. I was in studio probably it's at least 14 years ago, and I was getting to where I couldn't, like I would go to pick up a coffee cup, right? Because on when you're on radio, nobody can see you, so you're sitting there slurping coffee. And I went to take a drink and I almost lost the cup in my hand. And I didn't know what was wrong. And then I stumbled, and then my vision was starting to get blurry. I'm looking around the area in the studio, and things were starting to get out of focus. No, I've got nothing to do with my current eye condition. And then each day it got worse and it got worse and it got worse. We go to the doctors and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. Here I was, I just got syndicated in radio. I'm opening them up for Russian ball. I've just got a reality TV show about business or business behavior. The theme of the show was uh we go into smaller, medium-sized businesses, cap was about 50 million, and we solve issues, either family or small cap businesses, to where they either sell it, kill each other, or make it run and function the way it's supposed to. It's it's that's what it is. So then all things physical fail. And it's simultaneously. I just wrote a book that was recommended by Forbes, and I was like, okay, I gotta write a book about behavior of business. Got Book of the Year that year, and it was a bestseller on multiple content continents. The problem was I don't remember any of it. I don't remember releasing the book, I don't remember everything that's in the book. I had to go back and peruse my own book because I didn't remember what I had said. And that's an alarming thing, and it's a frightening thing when you go, hey man, I just got a bestseller. I can't recall one piece of the book. I was laying in a hotel room in Raleigh, North Carolina. Just went to see Stryper that night. All right. Stryper helped me find Jesus. And I was so sick I couldn't get out of bed. I think my temperature was 104, 105. My wife knew what to do, so she just packed me away in the room and packed me away in the bed. And we knew something wasn't right. We didn't know what. So now you've lost your radio show, you lost your TV show. Basically lost your career. You don't know what's happening, nobody can tell you physically what's going on. Here's what we knew. My eyesight was starting to diminish. I could physically not go upstairs any longer. I was having trouble functioning. I was losing the ability to feed myself. I mean, it's kind of frightening. You you you sit and in real time you're watching your entire skill set diminish. You don't know what's wrong. At the same time, we didn't want to tell the world what was going on with me. We wanted that to be kept a secret because in the entertainment world, there there are no secrets as you're seeing. DMZ will pick up on anything. And I was not a big star. I was I was okay in my genre and behavior world, but as far as being well known, no, outside of that world. But I still didn't want anybody to know what was going on. So my wife made a decision, which I still appreciate to this day. She decided to lock me away. We just slowly walked away, didn't really announce anything, didn't say the show's show was off, nothing. We just kind of slowly disappeared. Now, people in Atlanta would be like, uh, hey, brah, uh, what's what's what's going on? And I'd say, just some difficult time. Hey, man, we're coming back, and and every week we'd be like, okay, uh this is gonna get better, we're gonna come back, no issues, we're gonna rock and roll this. Three and a half years later, I think it was, yeah, it was. It was three and a half years. Took three and a half years for me to see any improvement. What happened in the interim? I lost the ability to basically walk. Uh, couldn't feed myself. Uh the great thing was my wife gave me a Roku. Okay, I'm slow to the party on technology. I thought eBay was a new thing when I started using it in 2021. Um, so uh just just bear with me. I'm terrible with technology. Nobody on my company will let me touch anything. I'm like a monkey pushing buttons. So she gives me a Roku and she gives me the cat. And then she has to go get a job because she worked for me and we didn't have any money. So I could watch videos all day, right? Thumb works, thumb works. Um and what I did was okay, I teach quantum physics for you that did not know. I teach quantum physics. And I was a former Satanist who learned about Jesus, and now I teach that whole scheme of the world and the universe and the cosmos through science and quantum physics. I'm like, since nothing's solid, right? Nothing's solid, then that means that the the molecular structure of anything can be changed and it can be rearranged, and it explains how Jesus healed everybody through the Bible. All right, well, here's my two my two avenues that I can go. I can die, like they say I'm probably going to, a very slow and painful death, or I can figure this out through the power of Christ, through quantum physics of understanding the healing touch of the Holy Spirit, and I can work this out. Well, either way I win, because either way, I go to Jesus immediately or I go later. Okay, to just postponement a little time. I said, No, I don't like to lose, and I don't want to lose to my former boss, so I think I'm gonna stick around for a while. Okay. Plus, my wife scares me. She's only five feet tall, but boy, if she gets angry, get out of the way. I'm sitting in a chair one day, and this is when I was really sick, and she grabs me by the front of the shirt and she goes, Don't you dare down me. We've been through so much for you to down me now. You understand me? I was like, Yes, ma'am. Five feet nothing, and angry, you don't want to do short ladies, they're always angry. Um so I said, Okay, we're gonna figure this out. So I got every single healing verse that the Bible could have. Okay. I've got 101 on a piece of paper, and God bless Keith Moore for this. And I went through every single verse every single day. Just boom, boom, boom, read them out loud. Remember, nothing happens in the universe without verbal confirmation. You have to verbalize something for the molecular structure to take over. Yeah, this is what I teach on Sundays as a pastor. So all I had to do was to change my situation and not die, like uh basically the CDC had told me I was going to. I just need to change the molecular structure of everything in my body. Oh, no problem there, right? Anyone knows anything about quantum physics, that's a walk in a park. I have to get new organs, I have to get new eyes, and I have to get new blood. Oh, no, no problem there. And then I have to do it in a specified period of time so I don't die. Okay, no problems there. Challenge accepted. So we had a whiteboard in our small apartment. We had to move out of our house because we didn't have anything left, and we wrote out the steps. Well, I didn't, my wife did. Okay, this is what I'm gonna do every day. This is how I'm gonna do it by hour, and I'm gonna break it down, and this is how I'm gonna work this out. So for three and a half years, I watched 16 hours of videos on healing. God bless Gloria Copeland, because I think without Gloria Copeland, I wouldn't be here today. That's why 11 years finally behind a microphone, it's a really big deal because everybody outside of Gloria Copeland and Jesus said I was leaving this earth. And then I watched friends die along the way that were not as sick as me. And then I'm the one that makes it. So every day, go through that. I talk to my body. Here's the thing about the quantum and about verbal confirmation. If you verbalize something, it has to come true. Whatever is verbalized must come true in the natural or what you can see.
unknownOkay?
SPEAKER_00So if I'm verbalizing the desired outcome, I'm gonna have to receive the desired outcome. Matthew 9.23. I'm sorry, Mark 9.23. Cool. All right, so I'm gonna verbalize my desired outcome. So every day I would talk to my brain, I'd talk to my heart, I talk to my lungs, I talk to my liver, I'd talk to my kidneys, I'd talk to my stomach, I'd talk to my esophagus, I would talk to my legs, my fingers, my hands, my toes, every single thing I would talk to, especially my hair. Didn't want to lose my hair. And I was starting to lose hair, and I'm in my 60s and I still have hair, thank God. Every day. I would state the desired outcome. I am healed. I'm completely healed. Satan, get your hands off me. I'm completely healed through the blood of Christ. Every single day, all day long. I just bombarded my body with my desire to be healed. Speak the word, and it'll be so. I knew that. I knew Mark 11, 23, 24. Believe it, speak it. Got it. I'm gonna be living proof that all of this is true. And I recently had uh lunch with a quantum physicist that uh backed me up on that. Uh a guy named Perry, I'll tell you about him later. He'll probably be a guest on the show. Um but then one day we could smell meat. Okay, this this is uh if you've ever smelled rotting meat, my wife looked at me and she goes, You smell like you're rotten. And my my skin had started to turn uh yellow. I was I looked like a magic marker or a highlighter. Like the super Superman symbol with the yellow and the and the red. And I was starting to turn yellow and my organs were rotting from the inside out. I had never heard of anybody doing that. Hey, I'm first. And it was so funny during this time. The CDC said I was one of the sickest people they'd ever seen. I got a doc from the CDC to go over all my medicals. She said, You're the sickest person I've ever seen, and there's nothing not modern medicine can do for you. Cool. At least that's one door shut, and I don't have to pursue that. So then we we sit and go, okay, cool. All right, I'm number one in something. I've always wanted to be number one. And then they checked my blood and they said, This is the worst blood test we've ever seen of a human that's still alive. Again, I'm number two in two, number one in two categories. I'm rocking and rolling now. I'm finally number one is something. They said I was the sickest person they'd ever seen, still upright, not in a casket. Cool. All right, this is gonna be even bigger victor for victory for Jesus and a bigger miracle. Let's do this. So every day it just got worse. My fevers would be 105, 106. My wife puts me in the bed with ice, I mean, not in bed, in the in the tub with ice. Get the fever down, no reason to go to the doctor, nothing they can do for me anyway. That's freeing when you know the only hope you have is in Christ or the healing power of the Holy Spirit. It's very freeing because now you know man can't solve your problem. Okay, cool. I feel terrible. I'm vomiting profusely. I'm vomiting on my wife. You know you have a loving spouse when you can projectile vomit on them, poop on them. They have to toilet you and shower you because you can't do it yourself. Um, I got in trouble one day because I tried to take a shower by myself. I fell out of the shower, fell on the cat, tore everything down, curtains, curtain rod, shower rod, everything came down, towel rack, everything's in the floor. And I would fall so much in our apartment, our next our neighbor would stop my wife on her way in and go, I think he had a bad day today. Um, he was really struggling. I could hear him hitting the floor. And if I hit the floor, it took me about 20 minutes to get out of the floor, or I would just crawl on my belly to wherever I was going. It's like it would take me, I was from about 20 feet from the bathroom. It would take me up to 20 minutes some days just to get to the toilet. Not using it just to get there, use it 20 more minutes back. So I really had to make sure this was something I really wanted to do before I decided to go to the restaurant. So this whole time we're doing this, and my wife's working 16-hour days trying to save my life and try to pay for treatment and try to do all these things. How do you know you're in the right marriage again? It didn't break you, it just made it stronger. Because she knew I was afraid enough of her not to die. So I was gonna figure this out. And then one day radio and TV are not even any in our purview now. Now all we want to do is survive. One day she wakes up and she goes, you know, last night the Holy Spirit told me that you were healed with your heart because I had blockages in my heart. Okay? I want you to go to the cardiologist like now. It's funny because the cardiologist I'd had previously was retired and came back because his wife got tired of him being at home. Ladies, be nice. His wife was not very nice about it. Um, the way she explained he was leaving retirement and going back to work. So he does the ultrasound, he's looking at me, going through my blood work, everything. And he's just sitting there going, hmm. Now my cardiologist is really cool. He wears a tweed jacket and has a ponytail with scrubs. I mean smooth. He goes, uh just shaking his head. I'm like, hey man, I'm I'm right here, you can talk to me. You uh you got the heart of a 20-year-old man. What you been doing? I told him it was Jesus. Okay, he's an atheist, so he's just okay, whatever. And I said, uh, what else? He goes, Well, all your organs are perfect. You have sexy kidneys, never had sexy kidneys. Everything was new. Everything was new. Get this. I went from being called the sickest guy they had ever seen that was still upright, not in a coffin, to everything being new. And he's just staring at me. He goes, Oh, by the way, you need to lose some weight because you're fat, but outside of that, you're cool. He goes, I don't understand why your blood pressure is so high, but you you're perfectly fine. There's nothing wrong with you. Cool. I told you so. One month later, she goes, now go get your blood checked because your blood's healed. Okay. Go back to a friend of mine, get my blood checked, and he we funny, we sit down to see the test, you know. You get the piece of paper, right? And uh he slides it back at me, shoves it at me. He goes, uh read that. Used to teach biology. Okay. That's not that's not that's not possible. You just kept that's not possible. That's not physically possible. I don't know if you know this or not. Little little bio lesson here, a chemical lesson. When you get sick, there's a marker in your blood, it looks like a football field and it's ticked off to where your blood is. Mine was covered. It looked like somebody had just done ticks on my bloodline. My bloodline was perfect. All the markers were gone. Everything was correct, everything was fixed. There was nothing wrong with me. I had the blood of a newborn baby. He's just sitting there shaking his head. So am I. I'm like, well, Holy Spirit told me he'd heal me. Um he made good on the promise. So now new organs, new blood, still, still exhausted, still, you know, because the physical toll it took on my body those three and a half years was enormous. I'd gained 60 pounds. I think at my height, I weighed 290 pounds. I'm back down to 220 now. Praise Jesus. Um but my eyes. Now, if you'll notice, I have the same glasses on that Robert Downey Jr. and um Johnny Depp have. We have the same eye condition. Um go check my eyes. My doctor tells me we got problems. Um the pressure's way too high behind my eyes, and we're gonna have a lot of difficulties if it doesn't change. Do what you did for your blood and your heart for your eyes, and then come back and see me. So I did. Same thing, talking to my eyes, everything. I just got my eyes checked about six months ago. My eye pressure is perfect. Now, I have to wear shade and everything because I'm I'm allergic to Wi-Fi. I have trouble with lights, we're in a big studio with lights. So I've struggled with that. Even when I go outside, I have to wear the sunglasses or blue glasses to cut down on everything. So get this. Three and a half years, we walk away from the radio or the entertainment business. Three and a half years later, I'm completely. Healed. Now that's not where the struggle stopped. That's where the physical God's like, all right, I handled this, you handle that. I had to handle the the physical therapy, which I'm still going through now. Um I'm looking forward to the day I can get rid of my handicap sticker. Uh because I can walk now, just not far without people helping me. I still have trouble with my hands, but I can pick up a cup and I can drink now. Now don't give me little ones, these are about the size I can handle. I can't walk long distances, but I can walk them if somebody's holding on to me, or I can go to the grocery store and people notice I never leave the cart. So my physical therapist is helping with that now. So hey man, we we consider to be game changers because what they said was physically impossible in this realm I proved was possible in this realm. Now, if you look on YouTube, you will see story after story after story after story of people experiencing what I did. Why? We have to believe it's it's possible. Nothing can take place in your life that's great unless you think it's possible. Now again, what I do for my consulting company is I help families and businesses because I teach Vision, I teach human programming, I write books on it, got four coming out this year. I've got a book on parenting, I've got a book on dating, I got a book on marriage, and I've got one on what men and women don't understand about each other. Battle of the Texas, baby. And I want to clarify these things for people to be able to understand, right? So now we've done this. So let me talk to you now. You've heard the story of where we've been. How about you? Where you've been the theme of today's show, and this is today I'm really gonna express about my life, is don't ever give up. Now, I want to reference somebody that's an inspiration to me. I did not tell her I was gonna talk about her, I'm only gonna use the first name, but the other day she did inspire me. I don't normally use people's first names, but nobody knows who this is. So I've gone name Cassidy. I was talking to her a couple days ago, and I've watched her journey on Facebook. I'm not gonna tell you what the journey is, and I'm not gonna tell you who she is. She just inspired me because I've seen what I've been through and then I've watched what she's been through. And I said, uh, congratulations. You're wonderful, and your story's an inspiration to me. And that we're supposed to do, right? Overcome. Don't ever give up, be an inspiration to other people, go help other people get their dreams. It's that easy. So now let's come back to the theme of the show, the wake-up call you didn't ask for. A lot of people need a wake-up call. A lot of people need to understand, hey man, coasting's not good enough. Giving up's not good enough. You need to go after whatever it is you want to do. And that's why during the course of our show or times together, we will have guests on here that have overcome just about every mountain you can imagine, whether it's business, whether it's physical, whether it's medical, spiritual. Uh we've got some exciting guests uh coming up in the next several months and several shows. Uh, my buddy Tom Scarella. He's seen people raised from the dead on at least two continents, so he's extremely exciting to talk to. I've got a young lady who used to be in the Church of Satan coming up. Wow, what a story! And we'll talk about my foray into that here in a minute. And then we've got business leaders from all over the world coming on. Why? The theme of the show is the wake-up call you didn't ask for. It's let me shake you, let me get you back to where God wanted you to be, let me get you to where your purpose, plan, and direction are, and let's get you on your way. Because the more successful people we have, the more successful people we have, and the happier and more joy-filled world we actually have. So let me look at my notes to make sure I'm hitting everything I want to talk about. So now let's dial this back. What gives me the credence or the right to be able to do the show? My professional life was I used to be a high school basketball coach. Go figure. I'm only 5'7 and a half, uh, but uh everybody thinks I coached wrestling or football. But I like to win. I taught multiple disciplines of either way from regular ed to special needs. Uh I'm actually certified in every area of special needs that you can get certification as. I got a special college degree that I think I'm the only person out of that college to ever get that degree. Had to make a couple deals with the dean and with some professors and add hours and everything. If I'd have been smart, I'd have gotten a grad degree out of it because I never finished my PhD. Uh, that would be my best friend Heather. So now we've got that out of the way. I teach 30, I've been in this game almost 36 years, taught almost 25 years. I've been consulting and helping businesses for about 30 years. Uh, and we've been blessed. I have dyslexia, but I've been able to get two best-selling books on multiple continents. And we got a Golden Quill Award. It's an Emmy that you get at AM that you ride by and they throw it in your car. That's how much it means to them. But we still got one. Uh, but we will be covering lots of topics that do with family. Now, we've talked about me. Let's go back and talk about you. What's going on in your life right now that's not pleasing? Maybe you got a kid that's drinking drugs, chasing skirts, or chasing men. Maybe you got somebody in the hospital, maybe you've got somebody in jail. Uh man, I encounter that a lot. It's funny, I'll be at Walmart and people go, hey man, uh, you're that dude with the hair. Can I ask you a question? I am the dude with the hair. And might as well. Uh it's Walmart, so this line ain't moving anytime soon. And they'll ask me. And it's always either dating, marriage, how does my marriage get better? Uh, what do I do with my kid? I can't kill him, what do I do about them? Uh my husband's not this, my wife's not that, whatever it is. Cool. We can we can handle that. Um, it's just a matter of having a plan, enjoying the reproach that goes to it, and desiring. So I always ask people, and this is this my wife was my worst client in history. Remember when we first met? Because there's gonna be a question I'm getting ready to ask you that really infuriated her and uh got me called lots of names by her and other clients. I was like, uh, all right, what do you want out of life? And she would go, Well, I want to do this, I want to achieve this, I want to make this amount of money. I'm like, stop, that's not what you want. Next. And she'd give it to me. Nope, stop, next, that's a lie. Next, that's a lie, stop lying to me, stop lying to yourself, stop lying to me. Uh 20 minutes into it, she gets up. I use a whiteboard, and you know those uh dry erase markers. She throws one as hard as she can and hits me in the nose with it. Then she picks up another one. I got four markers to the face. She storms out with lots of bad words. Finally, she comes back and she goes, uh Okay. Oh, okay. Maybe maybe maybe you're right. One time I was right in 20 years. Um, I'm ready. What do people normally say when you ask, okay, what do you want? You can't solve any problem, but I'd ask him first, what do you want? Look at us. We decided I needed to live. Okay, that was that was job one. I need to live. We didn't know if we'd I'd ever do this again, but I needed to live. Job one was, what do I want? Okay. Do I believe what I want is feasible or possible for me? Not for other people, because I have people now that are dying or have cancer or whatever it is, and they'll go, well, yeah, that was for you, but not for me. Well, God's no respecter person, so that's probably a silly statement. So what do you want? Is it feasible? Am I committed to making this tack take place? See, that's where all this it's it's not New Year's resolutions because New Year's resolutions are I feel really good today, we're having a great time, I'm sitting with my my friends, and I'm gonna say, I'm going to do X. And take any commitment just to say, I'm going to do this with nothing behind it. So, okay. What do you want? Are you committed to it? Can you see it taking place? I do this with every single client I have. Why? Because people come to me and they want me to fix stuff. Now I am a pastor, uh and I always approach things from a creation standpoint. Not the guy to come see if you don't want to hear about creation. But I can show you why it's all real uh through science. So now you've got to make commitments to yourself, to your family, to your accountability people, whoever it is around you. People don't like commitment. It's like a dirty word with Gen Z. Commitment, work, labor. It's all true. Now, before you get mad at Gen Z, if you're a baby boomer, go look in the mirror and go, that's your fault. It's our fault. I got called an angry boomer a few weeks ago, and I was like, man, that's like a badge of honor. Thank you so much for uh realizing that I'm the guy who tells you to get off his lawn. Um but it's just commitment. It's just understanding that if I do X, this is possible. It's no different. I got a restaurant next door. If I walk over there, order my food and pay, they're gonna give me some food. If I leave any of those steps out, I ain't getting nothing but a ride in a police car because if I try to get the food without paying for it, I get to go downtown and get booked in. Okay, easy enough. Uh now don't forget, also subscribe, show this around, hand this around. If you know somebody that needs to hear the story, give it out. Let them know. We're on just about everything out there. True social. Uh, we're on Instagram, we're on Twitter, or getting ready to be on Twitter full time. Um and we're on Rumble and TikTok, or I call it as Tic Tac, because I still don't know how to use it. That's what Gen Z's for. They teach me how to do everything. All right, so um look for it there. But if you think somebody can use this information, please get it out there. Subscribe, though, and like. Those always help to get your channel up. But let's get back to you. What is it you're struggling with this year? What is it that's held you down? What is it that's keeping you from achieving what you want? What is it that's blocked you from whatever it is that you wanted to do? See, we do an abortion and we'll do this one where we institute it. You'll see me get to the cards here in a minute. Called the mailbag. Because life's no different than high school, and this is what I mean. You have categories of people, you have the cool kids, the the uh uh she did it best in Ferrisfielder, the dweebs, the jocks, the whatever it is, she goes through all the categories. We do that to ourselves in life. We also go through life with questions that we don't have answers to. I always told people when I was teaching new teachers if one kid raises his or hand in class, um there's at least 20 that have the exact same problem. They're just not confident enough to ask the question. Same thing here. That's why we do the mailbag, and I they always give me the questions. Um because people have questions they're just afraid to ask. Again, you have to go back to the qualifiers I gave. Are you committed? Are you ready to go? Do you know what you want? And then they'll what people normally do is they'll send it through mailbag or they'll stop my wife at the grocery store and go, Can you ask him or can you get him to do? Or I don't know why people don't ask me. I I guess uh, as one of my clients once told me, high-up executive said, I was uh a heartless da da da, you fill in the blank because it was pretty thorough. And I was the only inhuman person she had ever seen trying to operate in a human world. She basically said, I had no heart, and I was impossible to like, and I was just ruthless and heartless. Now she thinks I'm the greatest thing in the world. It's just pointing out, you're not mad at me. You never met me, you're mad at your situation, and I'm kind of holding up a mirror to it uh for the wake-up call of how to change it. All right, so so mailbag. We do have mailbag. Uh, you can go to our um our website, scottfarrell.com, s-c-o-t-f-e-r-r-e-l-l dot com, uh, and look up everything that I've told you thus far and what we do and where we go. And um, yeah, you'll see it up on the screen. And we'll have mailbag setup to where you can ask any question. Now keep in mind, I'm not a licensed counselor. Everything we do here is for giggles, it's for entertainment only, uh, and I'm not a medical doctor. If those questions are within that genre, I will have the expert come on. Uh, my buddy Frank Totarici. Uh Frank overcame his surrettes naturally. He was a bodybuilder, and now he's been on the men's cover of men's health for I think 11 times. He'll correct me, don't worry. But uh, I'll have Frank come on and talk about nutrition. There's not a topic we won't cover within reason. Now keep in mind, there's certain topics that are not going to be covered on this show. Keep that in mind. If it's one of those topics, I'll let you know. Uh seems to be something going on in town today. Uh the joy of uh filming in a small town. You get to hear every sight and sound that comes by. I'm used to it. I grew up like this, so no worries. But now, I want you to do this for me right now. As we listen, as we talk, it's just me and you. So keep this in mind. In life, there's two people. Keep this in mind: a victim or someone who's victorious. Only two people. Which one are you right now? Now remember, with all the shows that are on reality TV and all the housewife shows, uh, terrible people. Being a victim gets a lot more mileage. Being victorious gets you torn down. Now we hate the rich, as Lemmy would say with the with uh with uh his band, Eat the Rich was a song, if you don't know what it is. Um why are we mad at people for being successful and why do we pat people on the back for not being successful? I've never understood this. Why do we like victims and hate people that have gone out and done something? Why are we mad at people that have a bag full of money and then we praise the ones that don't because they're mad at the people for having a bag full of money? I will never understand this. Must be really big what's going on outside. All right, so pray for them, please, whatever's going on out there. See, it doesn't take a whole lot to complain. Why do I know that? Well, when I go out, hair's out in the way, when I go out, people act like I'm blind and deaf when they're sitting beside me. And they'll just start rambling on. I just go to places, I go to coffee places and just listen to people talk about their lives, what's going on, who they hate, who they're dating, why they're getting a divorce, why they got a divorce. I'm like, if you could only understand what you're doing to your own life, you are the prophet or your own life. Whatever you state out in the ether has to come true. You have no idea what you're doing to yourself. You don't understand where this is going. You don't get how you're destroying your life. See, I it's it's like uh apparently Donald Trump posted something the other day that everybody was up in arms about. Not here to talk about politics, just talking about reactions. I saw people react from where? Okay. So do you react or you're proactive? Are you gonna actually state something, or are you just gonna have a reactionary life to where you react to what's going on in your world? Either you're driver or you're the passenger. It's it's it's one or the other. And then people took it out of context. Then people didn't really understand what he meant. And I've watched people from every genre vocalize this on social media. My grandma taught me one valuable lesson. Do not open your mouth. Because if you open your mouth, there's a chance that people are gonna realize how stupid you are and how much of an idiot you are. Don't do it. Or as in Josh Pate says, his Memol said, don't do the following. Same thing here. Those were wise words from my grandma. Don't do it. Just keep your mouth shut. Don't be an idiot. Shut up. Well, now people are having to go, oh, okay, I jumped that one. All right, so imagine everything in life, you jump like that. You're gonna have a reactionary way to handle X. I'm gonna state how I feel, not the facts. Remember, it's much easier and much more simple and better to live in a factual world of truth than your truth or how you feel. Feelings change from nanosecond to nanosecond. The facts don't. I remember watching Dragnet as a kid. Gen Z, if you don't know what that is, it's called Google, go to and look it up. Dragnet, Joe Friday. The facts, ma'am, just the facts. People want to talk about the feelings, not the facts. It's like uh all the memes you see on Instagram about here, I guess you hit you see a man that's that's outside sleeping on a mattress with his dog, and you see the wife inside, and the man's going, I guess she wanted to talk about feelings, not facts, and I came with facts tonight. Yeah, yeah, that's a good place to operate because if you're running a business, if you're running a life, if you're a parent, if you're an employee, whatever it is, doesn't it make life far more simple if you just cover the facts? Yes, I have this feeling. I wanted to play in the NBA. I wanted to be 6'8. I'm 5'7 and a half. The facts are I ain't getting any taller unless I hit my gross bird in 65. So that's not achievable for me. Now I can moan and groan about being short. There was a song written about short people, or I can just get on my horse and ride off in the sunset and go, okay, I'm short, let's move on. I'm gonna go do something else. See, this is why people get so mad at me because I'll walk in their business and go, all right, here's the facts, here's how you feel, here's what's going on. Do you or do you not want to fix this? I I had a person I consulted for one time. I said, in six months, if you do not change the way you were doing this, you will be out of business. It took seven. Fired me, because it was mad at me for pointing it out. Keep this in mind if you're a consultant, you will get fired. Consultants never work out their contract. You're going to get fired because you're the scapegoat and you're who they're going to blame. Okay? So keep that in mind. All right. Now, we've got that out of the way. Again, I won't do this. It's the only time I'm going to do this. Uh, every other show is either going to have a guest, uh, we're going to go over specific topics, we're going to be solving problems. I'm freestyling today. So you and I, since we have 11 years in between us and we ain't got to talk, so you and I can talk to each other. Now remember, don't forget, scottferrell.com is how you reach us. If you got a problem or if you got something or a topic you want me to cover, that's great. Instead of getting me at Kroger, go ahead and send me an email so I can go ahead and get it on the docket. Believe it or not, we have to plan all this. Um, and it's up there on the screen for you. We have to plan everything we do. We just can't come in here and free will all the time. Uh, we don't have that capability yet. We will, but we don't now. Uh so uh you can see up on the screen what's there. Reach us through, out reach out to us through there. All right now, as we wind in, because we're getting closer to the end of our show or our time together, since it's the only time we have to do this. I'm gonna go answer a couple questions, which they were so nice to give. You like our logo? We're trying to get our logo back again, and we're trying to get it. This was the old logo we had from 11 years ago. We actually had t-shirts. Uh so uh we always did the mailbag, so now I'm I'm I'm gonna segue into the mailbag. All right, so again, this is how it works. You email questions. Now we we we used to have a live feed in the show, and we had call-in so you could actually call in and talk to me. But now we don't right now for show back, so forgive us for that. All right. This is from Alicia. I have three teenage daughters at home. Can you give me any tips to make my life easier with them? Okay. I try to keep this light, I try to keep this funny, I try to keep this to where we can have a good time with this. My recommendation is send them to grandma, and when they turn 25, bring them back. Uh, very simple. Or lock them in a closet, leave them, and move. What are they? Three teenage girls. It's funny how people think this is a three-minute question. Okay, I have three teenage girls. Uh, can I get some tips on how to make life easier? Boy, in a perfect world, that would be an easy answer. Here's the thing, here's all the things that go into this answer. How are they programmed? Humans are programmed from zero to seven. Whatever's programmed to you from zero to seven, all your five senses, you're in theta, you're you're being hypnotized from zero to seven. I'll go over this in full in other shows. Or if you've ever heard me speak, this is probably, oh my gosh, is he going over that again? You're programmed from zero to seven. So everything that touches your five senses is programmed into you. That's why you say, I'm never gonna do that, I'm never gonna act like my mom or dad, and then you do exactly what they did, or you say what they did. Well, who programmed you? The people that programmed you are from zero to seven, whoever touched your life, whoever ran your daycare, grandma, grandpa, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, whoever it is, that touched your life is part of your programming. And you will perform that probably. Program for the rest of your life, unless you meet somebody like me who helps you change it. The disciples took three years with Jesus to change theirs, and the Holy Spirit, on top of that, to change their programming. Peter needed a little help. I'm more like Peter. So, how can I make life easier? All right, well, I'd have to know how they were programmed. I'd have to know how you were programmed. I'd have to know what's going on. I would have to know what activities they're in. Are you divorced or still with their father? Uh, what's going on? Who are you dating? Who's he dating? Is there an extra spouse or grandparents in the mix? See all the things that have to be analyzed just to answer one question. Here's the key though. If I don't have any of that, I have to look at it like it's a business. Okay? When we have a company, we have a company handbook that we give to people, and I don't leave many stones unturned. But one of the things I do put in there is how you have to act at work. Can't be a tool. Uh Zach Wilde said in Black Label, there's one tool, it's me. Nobody else can be part of this group. That's a tool. Establish rules of behavior within that space. So I think it's the home, yes. My daughter's at home. What are the rules at home of how to treat each other with respect? You may not like each other. It's no different than work. Why is it we're nicer to people that work than we are to the people at home? Why do we have this free will or free license to mistreat people at home, people we say we love, but we're very respectful at work? Well, because they pay us a paycheck and they'll fire us if we don't. Very simple, but shouldn't you treat the people you love with more respect and kindness? Well, just a thought there. Thank you, dirt poor, keeping the engine moving today. So now, if you want things easier at home, sit down and have a corporate meeting. Our family used to have meetings every Thursday night. Family meeting, no different than a staff meeting that I would have with all my employees. For about an hour, we have a whiteboard. All right, here's what's going on this week. Here's what I do like, here's what I don't like. Any grievances you have. We did it very respectfully, just like a corporate meeting. So sit your three girls down and go, okay, we have to coexist here. Or y'all can move. Probably be easier. Empty nesting is uh great. I highly recommend it. That's where my wife and I are right now. We live in a small tiny home overlooking a valley. It is magnificent. 700 square feet of bliss. I couldn't be happier. And I have coffee. So you sit down, have a corporate meeting, family meeting, and go, look, here's the rules. We're all gonna agree on, we're all gonna follow them, we're all gonna do this, we're all gonna do that. Done. But keep this in mind behavior ignored, it's behavior condoned. If you establish the set, which everybody agreed upon, there has to be a severe penalty for stepping over the line. Like at work. If you step over the line, HR calls you down their office and they fire you. And you don't get that nice little paycheck periodically deposited in your account either on the 15th and 30th or the first and the 15th. It's funny how the paycheck goes away if the job goes away. So if you want things to be easier, you establish a pattern of desired behaviors, enforce it, and then do it. No different. All right, so probably spent a little too long on that. Let me get to the next question. And this is from someone in Rome, Georgia. How can I improve communication with my husband? Okay. Saw this on Instagram the other day. I thought it was very effective and it would work with me. Take your top off. That was pretty funny. How to win, I think the caption was how to win every argument with your husband. Take your blouse off. All right, my wife knows that. Uh, as my buddy uh Dave says, Dave Phillipson, he says, There's a reason why we don't play rock, paper, boobs. Boobs win. How do you communicate with your husband? Again, let's go back to this again. See, when we get married, I was programmed by one family, you were programmed by the other. Let's say you and I are married. Your programming and my programming don't jive. It's like trying to make IBM and Apple be friends with each other or Pepsi and Coke. See, Pepsi and Coke can't be nice to each other, and if you wear one shirt or if you get card drinking a Pepsi while you're on with Coke, you get fired. So, how do I improve my communication? Understand something. You did not come into this marriage with a wired program that allowed you to effectively communicate with each other. He was programmed by his family, you were programmed by you. So now we have two programs that were not genuinely wired together to communicate with each other. On top of how did his family communicate and how did your family communicate? Was your family like mine hollering and screaming and drinking? Or was like we used to have the best neighbors, they were always quiet. Or did he come from a family where it's repressed? You don't say how you feel, you don't talk about what's going on. There's 20 elephants in the room and nobody will discuss them. And then now we have resentment, everything's repressed, now we have these outbursts of anger. Or do we have somebody who knows how to get it out? My Italian friends, hey, uh, get it out, get it over with, get on with it. Normally, this is what happens. We get a repressed family to where the elephants in the room we don't talk about them with someone who was in a family like mine. Look at mine. My wife came from the don't talk about it, and my family came from the let's get it out. There are there we're gonna handle this now. My wife didn't believe me until she met my Aunt Francis. God bless her. My Aunt Francis was an opera singer and a very polished woman. If you ever saw uh Design of Women, my Aunt Francis was Julia Sugarbaker, just class personified. And then my wife met her and she realized, oh Lord, this is where he gets that forwardness from. My Aunt Francis didn't suffer fools. Um she she would tell you exactly how she felt. My dad, our whole family's like this. We just get it out and it's over with. So now you've got, I got to communicate with my husband. Well, what's your modalities? Is he a, are you a uh, if you don't know, I'm not gonna tell you person, which well, that's the unless he's Chris Angel or a psychic, that ain't gonna work. Or are you gonna be this and I'm gonna help you out with something. Let's say something occurs in the home. You go to him. Instead of I'm mad at you and I'm not talking to you, you're sleeping with the dog on the couch or out in your hunting bin or out in the camper, or if you don't know, I'm not gonna tell you, try this. You've made me angry because here's the solution and how I want you to solve it. Wow. That would be life-changing if people did that, wouldn't it? Did I say anything about feelings? Did I say anything about how mad I was? No. No. Now it's no different than the help desk at Target. All right, I bought the wrong underwear, I need to return them. Or I call customer no service as Clark Howard would say, and I say, here's the problem, here's how I want the solution to be packaged. Okay. So now if you want to communicate with each other, you decide that this is how you're gonna communicate. You have that family meeting. Remember what I just said? You get out a piece of paper. I think we did our communication styles on a napkin at a coffee shop. I write books on napkins, so it's it's everyday common thing for me. We said, okay, we don't want to overcomplicate this because I'm a high school teacher. We had five rules for the class, and I made the kids develop, and that way they couldn't complain when uh one of the rules had to be followed. We're gonna do the following to communicate effectively with each other. I'm gonna write it down. All right, I'm gonna get a piece of paper, you're gonna write it down, we're gonna put it right here, and we're gonna either put them on the refrigerator or we're gonna put them in a folder to where every time that we need to communicate, we've established the rules. Nobody's allowed to break these rules because you're breaking covenant with your spouse. We've decided this in a non-emotional arena. We've said that we're gonna do this. This is how I'm gonna communicate, and you're how you're gonna communicate by asking me, and we're gonna do this every single day. And I always tell guys, if all else fails, if you don't know how to do anything, okay, just to say you're a bonehead and just don't get it. Which a lot of guys can be, a little thick in the skull. Touch all five senses of your wife every single day. Kiss her, hold her, tell her how much you love her and appreciate her. Um touch every sense, let her hear it, let her smell it. Maybe there's a smell she likes, flowers, perfume, something. Maybe she wants you to take a shower. That smell. Touch all five senses every single day. And part of the communication is uh respecting the other person. I tell guys all the time Love in a relationship or a marriage is no different than a job. Every single day you have to give your boss a reason to rehire you tomorrow. Or when your review comes up, you're no longer employed. Same thing here. Give your wife or give your husband a reason to rehire you. Here's why I think tomorrow morning you should get up and rehire me. I did the following, and you were able to see this. And if we did have an issue, we had the rules, we followed those rules, we overcame those issues, and then we were able to move on. Because here's what you don't want to do. I I know when we first got married, we we had some struggles. Now we don't now because she's perfect, and I've just learned to deal with it. No, I'm just kidding. We've had 20 years together, and I would rather be with the only person I want to hang out with is my wife. She's my best friend. Why? We went through all this because we had flawed programming and we had to do it together, and we had that to weave a communication system together. We had to go out and make it work because we knew that God had put us together. Here's the joy of marriage. If God put you together, you can't leave because there's nothing better out there. God put the perfect version of you together. So you got to work it out. You don't have any choice. What is it? If you're tired of me, go take a nap because we ain't getting a divorce. She may kill me, but we ain't getting a divorce. So communication is also then you come back to respect. I'm not going to communicate with someone that I don't respect. All right, what's respect? Here's the thing. We have all these words, and it takes a thesaurus to figure it all out. What's respect look like to 356 million people that we have in the United States? I'm gonna get a different answer from every person. What's communication look like? Is it verbal or nonverbal? Is it cues? Is it tapping? What is it? Is it music? Is it through one sense and not the other? This is where we make all this complicated. That's why you need rules. If I want to communicate effectively with my spouse, I'm gonna establish the norm. All right, here's where we want to be, here's our goal, no more fighting. Normally that's what that means. No more fighting. And then here's how we're gonna do it. And then we're gonna follow the rules, we're gonna get along, we're gonna love each other, and our homes can be nothing but peace, love, and joy. You know how many people laugh at me when I say that? They'll go, you don't understand. That's right up there with how we used to tell our folks, right? You don't understand, you don't understand what it's like to be a teenager. I used to have kids tell me that when I was a teacher. You don't understand. I was born 45. Yeah. I was born full grown. Um Benjamin Button. Uh I'm just gonna reverse age, right? I'll understand how you feel one of these days. Uh it just cracks me up. Uh, hopefully that helped. Uh, thank you, Alicia, for for doing that. And unnamed in Rome, Georgia. Uh I will here's a practice I don't do because there's a lot of people out there, but not really nice intentions. I don't use last names unless you're a guest on my show, unless you've given me express permission, like my buddy Frank. I will never use somebody's last name and mailbag. It's nobody's business. And uh, if it's uh if it's a really funky question, I won't even use the real name, I'll I'll make up something or put unnamed. So feel safe on that. All right. So hopefully this has helped. This has been fun. It's it's hard to believe our our time is winding down. We've got a few more minutes left. Uh, but thank you for allowing me to express. Uh, that'll be the last time I tell my stories. Uh this show's not about me, it's about you. It's about getting you answers, not listening to me drone own about my life. Hopefully, my life has helped. So if you got somebody who's sick, if you've got somebody that's at their wits in, you've got someone that's thinking about suicide, don't do that. Uh, permanent solution to a temporary problem, things change, then let them know we're out here, let them know we're a resource, let them know that we want to be a resource for them and can help. Um, scottfarrell.com is our website. Remember, spell it with one T. Don't spell it with two. Um, the two is the guy from ESPN that screams at people on the radio and talks about hockey. I was in a Starbucks one day in Buckhead, and this guy just started reaming me out. I mean, you talk about profanity. This guy was in Venworth. And then he looks dead at me and he goes, uh, sorry, bro. Uh you're the other one. Because we're in the same building. And there was a coffee shop at the bottom. And uh I said, Yeah, our voices are a little different. I don't sound like like uh sandpaper. He goes, Let me buy you a coffee. I already got one. I I get it. I get it. Just make sure you're talking to the right guy when you're doing this. All right, so you can meet us in so many avenues. We do have a consulting business, so I I do work with people on an hourly basis, companies and uh individuals and families. Uh remember this week this year we got four books coming out. Four. The parenting ones needed. If you've been out to a restaurant, while we went out the other day, you know that the parenting books needed. Now, here's what you don't do. You don't buy a parenting book for one of your best friends because you're not gonna be best friends any longer. All right, so keep that in mind. Keep that in mind. All right, so and I had a friend buy one of my books and give it to her husband as a wedding present. That didn't go well either, so you don't want to do that either. Uh, you know, you might want to handle that a little more casually. Um, but remember the mailbag. Go ahead and email us all your questions. Remember, we're on like eight different types of social media. Like and subscribe to this. This is the first show of many coming up. I got a lot of great guests coming on. Um, you know, but do yourself a favor this week. I tell people this all the time. People don't hear it enough. Tell somebody how much you love them, and you're so happy to have them in your life. All right? Make you a promise. I'll meet you back here next time. Okay? Until next time, take care. I'll see you later.
