There are many valid questions about the eco-friendliness of electric vehicles (aka EVs). From the production of batteries, which require mining of rare earth minerals, to range-anxiety and charging infrastructure, to the carbon cost of charging them, there are a lot of variables in calculating the overall carbon footprint.
