The 2026 World Cup, staged right here in North America, was a massive success. No major political scandals or violence outside of the aggression taking place on the pitch. Now the stars came out in full force, with Spain hoisting the cup.

For the second time in their history.

Messy, as magical as ever. Mbappe, whom I saw firsthand, alongside Knicksstar OG Ananova. Bellingham in England nearly broke the 60-year drought, and who could forget Erling Holland and the amazing Roachamp, now synonymous with Norway. Now let's add to that passion and national pride some more incredible skill and athleticism, some meaningful entertainment and soulful music. You get something truly inspirational. DeMola. A Nigerian-born musician with over 10 million followers. Most of those are soccer fans, so it's no surprise his song about French superstar Killing Mbappe went international. Now Mac Daddy asked Ebola about his love of soccer and how it impacts his music.

I make upbeat music. And you know when you play in when you play in soccer, music that plays in stadiums or whatever is always upbeat music. I make besides me making mid-tempo music and all of that, I make upbeat music. One, two, besides that, I'm Nigerian. Soccer is our huge stuff. My sound afro afrofusion, afro whatever. Soccer is our only thing inside whose table. Like West Africa, everybody is soccer, soccer. So when you hear Afro, Afrobeat and all of that, the next thing that comes for sports is soccer. So a lot of people who play soccer gravitate to that, and you know, I made a whole song about Mbappe, you know, I love Mbappe. The last word called, even if they lost it to Mercy, which is a huge legend that I love so much. Hopefully, I meet him someday.

Many months later, violinist and award-winning artist, the mola.

So without the Super Eagles, the man now calling Houston home was rooting for Ronaldo, the most followed person in social media.
SPEAKER_06
He's done a lot and still in form at age 40, and doing things that even young stars cannot do. You know what I'm saying? So he's a huge inspiration for me. His work ethic, the amount of time he puts into work, the amount of times he puts into practice, how much money he's made, and yet he's still in form, how much money he has made, and yet he still goes out to work hard. Those two people messing around when you replace them, there's no richer musician than them. There's no achieved musicians than these two people yet at every match, and in every match they play like eight is a match that they want other people to know who they are. Like they cry because of the passion that they have.
SPEAKER_03
Some players have the ability to play multiple positions. This self-taught superstar plays multiple instruments and produces and writes his own music, leading some to mistake him for a triple.
SPEAKER_06
Because what I'm doing right now, I said it before. I'm gonna do shows in New York.
SPEAKER_05
Demola, a professional violinist on cardboard in Nigeria with nothing but hope and borrow. Hello everybody! Are you ready for Demola? The multi-talented award-winning international artist is in the building! Are you ready for Demola? Wanna support your feet?
SPEAKER_02
As we welcome Demola!

I was a fun kid, but I was in the ghetto, so I was the hood open hood. That's how my life was. Play soccer, have fun, no power, walk like my ass go fetch water. Every time I wake up, I tell my mom, I'm gonna make it out of here. We're gonna get out of here. My mom always believed in me. Sometimes you feel like I practice, I'm doing everything I need to do, what's happening? But I've also learned in life that you just have to be patient. It took me 10 years to hit 1 million on Instagram. It took some people two years, it's taking some people forever. You know, so everybody's journey is different.
unknown
I'm gonna wake up to you, give me a phone!

We have great music in my generation, but the music now is not like the music from the 80s, 90s, late 70s, when musicians were really getting in the studio and recording lives. I want to sell out studios consistently till I'm 90-something years old. I still want to keep target. However, bigger than that purpose is my connection with humans. How much of my music do people listen to when they're down? What does my music do to your mental health? What does my music do to your soul? You know, I'm big on that, and that's why when I make this music, it comes from it for inspiring me.

Confident without trying too hard. Interesting the second they walk into a room. Maybe a little smoky, maybe a little dangerous. You know, effortlessly charismatic. Not everyone has that. Some people build it over time, others are just born with it. I wouldn't know anything about that, of course. Strip away the noise.
