On today's episode, we're gonna be talking about Bigfoot and where he lives because we have someone that actually seen him. And are aliens real? Uh, we've also seen one of those too, believe it or not. And we're also going to be talking about the Loch Ness monster. This is gonna be all monsters and aliens, apparently, on this episode.

And I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we lied. We are not going to be talking about anything in that intro that we just said.
SPEAKER_01Wait a second.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, this is the introduction episode where we're going to kind of tell you about ourselves and talk about what this podcast is going to be. So uh if anyone in the future is listening to this podcast, you can recommend it to your friends and family and tell them to listen to the introduction episode to kind of get an idea of what this is. Uh I know there's a lot of podcasts I listen to, and if uh I recommend it to somebody and they pick a random episode, they're going to be lost and probably not have any idea what in the world's going on. Uh of course, there's podcasts that do pretty straightforward stuff like interview people and or just tell a story. We are not that kind of podcast. We are all over the place. Yep. Yep. ADHD. Yes, very. So unfortunately, we are missing Brooke for our introduction episode. And she is kind of our person that keeps us grounded and focused and helps me take care of the ADHD side of things.
SPEAKER_01As a wife does.
SPEAKER_00Yes, she's a she's a I don't know if I'd say the word perfect, but she's a great wife. I can't let her listen to this introduction episode because that'll get me in trouble. So, anyways, uh yeah, this podcast, we are going to be talking about current events, uh things that talk about like aliens, uh, the wars, conspiracy theories. Yeah, conspiracy theories will be a big thing. Uh, and we're a lot of it's gonna be keeping up with current events and conspiracy theories, but we also want to try to see if it ties into the Bible and prophecy. Uh, I don't believe everything that happens always ties into the Bible and prophecy, though. No, there's a lot of um what is it called? Not influencers, uh social media like YouTubers and uh like Facebook reels that you see where every single news event is tied into some kind of prophecy, especially end times right now. Yeah, and we do believe that we're in the end times, and there's a lot of things happening that's related to the end times, but not necessarily every single event is tied into the end times. Um, I think we forget sometimes that the world is still happening and like it's um and things just happen because of people's choices, right? Yeah, it's just naturally happening sometimes. But we want to dive into the ones that we think could be conspiracies and if it does have a biblical tie into prophecy. Um so yeah, we're gonna be talking about current events and conspiracy theories. We're going to be talking about Bible stories, um misconceptions. Yep, misconceptions. Our Bible stories we won't talk about will be mostly be ones that we were taught wrong in church, or maybe not even taught wrong, but uh they were just kind of watered down, like uh Noah and the flood. I know we were never taught about uh Nephilim, and actually I didn't even know what that word was until we looked it up ourselves. Yeah. Uh yeah, because if you went to church and you kind of were taught like we were, uh Noah and the Flood, for example, you're basically just taught that everyone uh in humanity was bad and that God flooded the earth because of that, but he only saved Noah because Noah was the good person. That's not true at all. And the Nephilim and the fallen angels play a huge part of that, and we'll dive into some of that stuff. Actually, we'll probably have fallen angels in a lot of the episodes. Um, yeah, and then some misconceptions is will be a big theme of the podcast. Uh, things that you've heard wrong. Um, give me one off the top of your head if you can think of one. I'm blanking here.
SPEAKER_02Uh, God won't give you more than you can handle. Ooh, good one. That was a really good one.
SPEAKER_00So, yeah, uh, that's and we'll of course we'll just do some little chit-chat between the hopefully four of us. So Brooke will be our co-host. She is not here, but I will tell you a little bit about her. She's my wife, and she's the funny one.
SPEAKER_01That's all I got.
SPEAKER_00That's all you got. She will love that. No, uh, she she grew up in church. Uh, I know she had a lot of um like doubt about being saved and uh deals with anxiety a lot. So I I think we kind of bounce off of each other pretty well where she can kind of bring these issue issues to me and I can kind of help her through some of this stuff. Um, but she really helps keep us grounded because uh I it's one of those things where she was kind of forced to go to church, like she was always there because her mom and dad brought her to church. Um and I went to church. I kind I was kind of in the same situation. I mom and dad always brought us to church, but as I got older, I did a lot of studying and read through the whole Bible on my own. Um, not just because I was forced to, but because I wanted to, and I felt like I have a really strong relate relationship with the Lord, and I learned a lot on my well, I wouldn't say on my own, it's what the what God allows me to know. But um, I think between the two of us, that really helps us kind of bounce each other ideas off of each other and kind of helps when she's got questions, it makes it a little bit easier for me to explain. Uh helps she helps keep us on track. Um, so Nick, go ahead, what do you got? Tell us about yourself.
SPEAKER_01Um, I am the brother of the host. My name is Nick. I also grew up in church. Um I believed I was saved at the age of seven because uh the preacher told me basically just to repeat after him, and he taught me I was saved, so I believed on him when I thought it was. So for the longest time, um I kind of dealt with that for a little bit. And then at the age of 15, I remember going to a place called Winter Blitz, and uh the preacher was talking and come to find out, I really had no idea what I was doing at that young age, so that's never uh fully decided to follow Christ.
SPEAKER_00Nice. All right, David. You want to tell us about yourself? David will be our other co-host here.
SPEAKER_02Uh I'm the cousin of the other two. Uh technically three. Wait, no. Um uh yeah, I don't know how that Yeah, it could be her cousin too. I guess through marriage, maybe. I don't know. I don't know. I guess it's not that important. Anyway. Uh yeah, same scenario. Grew up in church. Uh kind of similar to Zach. That as I got older, I wanted to uh read the Bible for myself and uh read through the whole Bible. Um in my teen years I went to a church camp and with what I was taught there and everything, it kind of rekindled the fire in my spirit and uh kind of went from there.
SPEAKER_00Alright, and I'm your host, Zach. And very similar to this, uh we were my mom and dad pretty much forced us to go to church for as long as I can remember. And by force, um we basically didn't have a choice. We had to go every Wednesday and Sunday. Yeah, yeah. Um I I guess I shouldn't say it forced, like it almost sounds like we went to a cult or something. But we were brought to church every Wednesday and Sunday, and we're very involved in like youth group and stuff, uh, which I enjoyed. But yeah, I remember getting saved. Uh I think I was 12 years old, but um getting saved and baptized. But then for the longest time, I guess after what year did I graduate? I was 18?

SPEAKER_002011, yeah. I think around 18 or so. Uh no, no, no. Man, when did we get married? Was it was that 20? Sometime around my early 20s. We moved to Lexington. And yeah, I really I didn't go to church anymore, kind of really fell out of uh reading the Bible or praying or acting like a Christian, really. Um, and then in the job that I work in, I really seen the bad side of humanity with like drugs and alcoholism and just um how poorly like some kids were treated. Uh I worked in the apartment industry, by the way. That's why I seen all this stuff, but um, yeah, so I I just I kind of seen how bad the real the world really was. Um and in a way, after I I kind of got back into church and uh I eventually read the Bible from front to back on uh on my own, but I guess those experiences really helped me see the real world issues and not just the small town um kind of that we grew up in being brought to church all the time, like how the world really worked, and it really changed my uh kind of perception on everything and how important the Bible and uh believing God actually is. Um so yeah, and that's why we wanted to do this podcast because I feel like we've got some pretty good experiences, and a lot of the stuff we learned in the Bible was kind of wrong, not like I said earlier, watered down versions, but after reading it for ourselves, we learned way more than we thought we would, and we feel like we know enough now to at least talk about some of this stuff.
SPEAKER_01So, as you've probably already found out, Zach is the talker of the group. Wow, me and David are the uh not so yeah, this you guys are my hype men.
SPEAKER_02This is my uh nix. It's out of our comfort zone. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I thought it was kind of funny that we wanted to start a podcast for uh probably the group of guys who do the least amount of talking out of anyone ever.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, for sure, for sure. But I do not talk.
SPEAKER_00But the one thing we have in common with this is that we all love conspiracy theories and we love tying it into the Bible and we love talking about the Bible.
SPEAKER_02Yep, yeah.
